Well, Well, Well: Joe Biden Pardons Scandal-Plagued Son In Shocking Reversal

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) UPDATE: Outgoing President Joe Biden issued a pardon for his embattled son, Hunter Biden, in a shocking reserval.

Attorneys representing first son Hunter Biden appeared to be laying the groundwork for a pardon from his father, outgoing President Joe Biden, according to recent reports by the New York Post and The Washington Post.

Attorney Abbe Lowell issued a public memo claiming that Hunter’s criminal indictments—and subsequent convictions—resulted from Republican lawmakers’ efforts to tarnish President Biden.

“This is a seven-year saga propelled by an unrelenting political desire to use a son to hurt his father,” Lowell wrote in a 52-page memo titled Lowell and his team dubbed The Political Prosecutions of Hunter Biden.

“It is a wild and terrifying story that serves as a stark warning of what is to come as some of the same Republicans who targeted Hunter prepare to resume power and have stated their intention to use the government’s vast power to pursue their perceived enemies,” Lowell claimed.

Hunter’s attorneys claimed that the “system that is supposed to protect against abuses failed to do so and was corrupted by political leaders in this country.”

They added, “As a result, Hunter faces significant sentences for felonies and misdemeanors far beyond precedents of others committing less serious offenses or where civil resolutions or consent judgments are normally sought — all on the basis of his mistakes, made while in the throes of serious drug addiction.”

The letter followed Hunter’s guilty plea to nine counts of tax crimes. He was previously convicted of three counts of making false statements on a federal gun purchase form. He is expected to be sentenced later this month.

The indictments followed years of investigation by Special Counsel David Weiss, which Republicans alleged was intentionally delayed allowing the statute of limitations to expire on certain offenses.

President Biden has faced growing questions about whether he will pardon his son. The White House, however, has repeatedly denied any plans to grant clemency.

“We’ve been asked that question multiple times and our answer stands — which is no,” claimed Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary following the 2024 presidential election.

Kamala Still Begging for Cash to Settle $20M Debt Weeks After Election

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Where’s Willie Brown when you need him?

Vice President Kamala Harris is still soliciting donations for her failed presidential campaign—nearly a month after most Americans rejected her candidacy, the New York Post reported Saturday.

A recent email sent by the Harris campaign suggested that the donations would be used to fight against President-elect Donald Trump and his agenda. This comes despite the current administration’s term ending in less than two months.

“With Trump nominating MAGA loyalists left and right, there is nothing more important than making sure we can fight back and hold him accountable,” the email read, according to the Post. “That’s why we need you to step up today. Yes, today.”

It added, “Our records show that you haven’t pitched in to support our Harris Fight Fund program yet. We know the election didn’t turn out as we’d hoped, but we’re not backing down.”

Harris conveniently failed to disclose that the current donations are likely to be used to pay off the campaign’s alleged $20 million debt, after wasting $1.5 billion in just 15 weeks.

In an interview with the Post, Democratic strategist Jon Reinish said Harris’s donation requests are “galling.”

He said, “When I got yet another request from the Harris campaign for me to pony up. Quite frankly I thought it was insulting.”

As reported by the Washington Examiner, Harris spent the billion-dollar figure in baffling expenditures, including $1 million to Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions for an interview and a six-figure sum to create a set for her controversial appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

Similarly, rapper Cardi B was rumored to have been paid by Harris for her endorsement, but she dispelled that rumor on social media.

“I didn’t get paid a dollar and that’s on my three!!!” she wrote on X, referring to her children. “I actually came out of pocket for glam and travel because it’s somewhere I wanted to be.”

Buh-Bye Wray: Trump Nominates Kash Patel to Purge FBI of Corruption

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) It’s official: President-elect Donald Trump has selected Kash Patel as his nominee to take over and overhaul the scandal-plagued FBI.

The announcement effectively signals to current—and embattled—FBI Director Christopher Wray that his tenure at the bureau will soon end, despite his 10-year term not expiring until 2027. This is no longer the case.

“Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and ‘America First’ fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People,” Trump wrote Saturday on Truth Social.

“He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution,” the president-elect added.

Patel is no fresh face in MAGA circles, having served as chief of staff at the Trump-era Department of Defense, deputy director of National Intelligence and senior director for counterterrorism at the National Security Council (NSC).

At NSC, Patel oversaw Trump’s top priorities, including eliminating Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Qasem al-Rimi, the leaders of ISIS and al-Qaeda, respectively.

“This FBI will end the growing crime epidemic in America, dismantle the migrant criminal gangs, and stop the evil scourge of human and drug trafficking across the Border,” Trump continued.

The president said Patel will work with presumptive Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi “to bring back Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity to the FBI.”

Patel’s name was first floated for attorney general earlier this year by Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr.

Patel’s nomination will need confirmation by the Republican-led Senate, which recently thwarted Trump’s wish to appoint then-Rep. Matt Gaetz as attorney general.

If confirmed, Patel will lead the FBI as it faces widespread criticism for weaponization against Republicans.

For instance, the FBI carried out a head-scratching search warrant of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, claiming to look for so-called classified documents.

FBI agents, acting under orders from the Biden-Harris administration, searched through former First Lady Melania Trump’s drawers and personal belongings.

The search warrant resulted in Special Counsel Jack Smith indicting Trump. However, the lawfare case was dismissed after U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon ruled that Smith’s appointment was unconstitutional.

Hypocrite Much? Trudeau Rushes to Trump’s Side After Years of Running His Mouth

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Oh, how the tables have turned for Justin Trudeau.

The embattled Canadian prime minister traveled to Mar-a-Lago to praise President-elect Donald Trump—the same man he mocked just weeks ago.

Trudeau visited Trump days after the president-elect unveiled long-overdue tariffs on Canadian exports.

Tellingly, the visit comes as Trudeau battles plummeting approval ratings and leftist party members plotting his ouster. However, Politico noted that a relationship with Trump could offer Trudeau a lifeline, effectively letting him boast about trade negotiations.

“Thanks for dinner last night, President Trump,” Trudeau wrote on X, sharing a photo alongside the incoming president. “I look forward to the work we can do together, again.”

Trudeau’s praise stands in sharp contrast to his previous insults to Trump following the 2020 presidential election. Little did he realize Trump would make a grand return in 2025.

In January, Trudeau complained that working with Trump “wasn’t easy” and that collaborating with a second Trump administration “won’t be easy either,” according to CTV News.

Trudeau also scolded Trump’s environmental policies, claiming that the Republican leader would be a “step back” and accusing him of peddling “a lot of anguish and fury… without necessarily providing solutions.”

Trudeau also chastised Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre and the Make America Great Again movement as so-called threats.

“What we’re seeing from these MAGA conservatives is an approach on going back on fundamental rights in ways we shouldn’t be seeing,” he told The Canadian Press.

He added, “We may think to ourselves, ‘This will never happen in Canada and this is just the Liberals bringing up the usual fear that they do.’ I’m sorry, it wasn’t ever supposed to happen in the United States either, and yet it did because of MAGA conservatism. The threat is real.”

During a 2023 trip to New York, Trudeau delivered what Reuters described as a “veiled swipe at Trump,” suggesting MAGA-tied policies were dangerous.

“You guys are the greatest democracy in the world,” Trudeau said. “Right now, it’s not just that it’s being taken for granted by so many citizens, it’s actually being devalued.”

AOC May Launch 2028 Bid in Likely Redux of Kamala Blunder

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Leftist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is rumored to be a candidate in the 2028 presidential election, immediately drawing laughter and mockery from critics on social media.

Ocasio-Cortez’s name “always bubbles to the top” when Democrats discuss the party’s future, The Hill noted Friday in a compilation list of potential presidential contenders.

One leftist strategist claimed the congresswoman has impressed Democrats by cutting “through the BS and telling it like it is.” This positive characterization sharply contrasted with online comments from users on X.

Former Rep. Matt Gaetz reacted to the news by jesting, “Alex has told people she’s running in 2028 since 2019.”

This comment appears to reference the suggestion made by some Democrats in 2020 that Ocasio-Cortez would have been a presidential “front-runner” had she not been so young.

One user shared Ocasio-Cortez’s infamous crying photo at the southern border, with a Trump-Vance sign photoshopped into the image.

Another user shared an AI-generated image of Ocasio-Cortez as a swamp-like comic villain, with incoming Vice President JD Vance’s face photoshopped onto a Captain America costume in the image.

“Think of the memes!” the second user said, predicting that an Ocasio-Cortez candidacy would invite mockery.

Podcast host and author Alec Lace mocked Ocasio-Cortez by recalling how her endorsement of outgoing Rep. Jamaal Bowman failed to save him from losing his Democratic primary.

A second Democratic strategist told The Hill that Ocasio-Cortez and her leftist “Squad” are deemed too controversial.

“She and the ‘squad’ started pushing too hard, too fast,” the Democrat said. “D.C. doesn’t work that way. And our party doesn’t work that way. We need to get back to the basics.”

A potential Ocasio-Cortez candidacy could mirror outgoing Vice President Kamala Harris’s first presidential bid in 2020.

Harris launched her campaign as a progressive leader but ultimately failed to make it to the primaries.

Her campaign was plagued by controversy, wasteful spending and ineffective staff. Four years later, Harris would renounce most of her leftist policies in a failed bid to appear moderate.

LA Times Adds Scott Jennings to Editorial Board After Dismissing Radical Leftists

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Meet the newest member of the Los Angeles Times Editorial Board: Scott Jennings, the renowned conservative analyst and CNN pundit.

Jennings’s addition follows the LA Times owner, Dr. Pat Soon-Shiong, announcing plans to overhaul the declining newspaper’s direction by purging its leftist bias.

In an X post, Shiong wrote he is “growing the board with experts who have thoughtful balanced views” and added that “new candidates are accepting the challenge to join us.” He urged readers to “stay tuned” as “we are making this happen.”

Jennings thanked Shiong in a statement on X, saying he was “honored” by the opportunity

“I think Dr Soon-Shiong is doing something important and groundbreaking and am honored he asked me to play a role in that,” Jennings said.

“Roughly half (or more) of the country often feels like legacy media doesn’t care what it thinks and has little interest in fairly representing its views and values,” the CNN personality added.

He also announced his plans to represent Americans who feel “ignored or even ridiculed in legacy media.”

Jennings’s hiring follows Shiong’s decision to block the LA Times Editorial Board from endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris’s candidacy against that of Donald Trump.

The LA Times had religiously endorsed Democratic candidates since 2008. From 1976 to 2004, the newspaper refrained from issuing presidential endorsements, according to The American Presidency Project.

Shiong’s decision triggered the resignations of three Editorial Board members: Robert Greene, Karin Klein and Mariel Garza.

Shiong explained on Oct. 23, less than two weeks before the election, that the Editorial Board was ordered to provide a “factual analysis” of the positive and negative consequences of Trump’s and Harris’s proposals.

This approach sought to help readers make a nonpartisan determination about their vote. However, the board did not act on this plan.

“Instead of adopting this path as suggested, the Editorial Board chose to remain silent and I accepted their decision,” Shiong wrote on X.

Out of the Picture: Staffers Furious as Biden Snubs Photo-Ops

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) White House staffers are up in arms as outgoing President Joe Biden declined to pose with them for the popular parting presidential photo, Politico reported Friday.

The one-term-turned-camera-shy president canceled the scheduled photo sessions for the last few months.

This has effectively signaled to his aides that they will not have the opportunity to take their photos with less than two months left in the current term.

The snubbed employees—part of the West Wing and the adjacent Eisenhower Executive Office Building—have reportedly had their morale sapped, Politico noted.

According to the outlet, the photo is often deemed a “meaningful memento for those who have served in this and past administrations.”

A former Biden official, who left in 2022 and had their photo taken eight months later, said the photos are “one thing you can sort of count on as a reward for all of your service.”

The aide added, “And it’s parents feeling fulfilled, too, for all of their work and getting you to this place.”

Biden did not explain why the sessions were canceled, but the timing seemingly coincided with his relinquishment of the Democratic presidential nomination to his unpopular vice president, Kamala Harris.

“They just took them off his schedule months ago, and no one knows why,” the former Biden official remarked.  “Of course the culture is bad over there if they’re not doing the little things.”

Last week, the Biden-led Office of Management and Administration emailed managers that some political appointees will be invited “for a departure photo to celebrate your time and work while at the White House.”

In the same line, the office said that parents and spouses will not be allowed: “These will be individual clicks (no guests) with the President in the Oval Office.”

In response, one current government official said, “Instead of everyone being annoyed by no departure photos, now it’s only half of the people who are annoyed.”

A former official chimed in: “Like why did I see an intern turned staff assistant get a photo before me?”

The photo debacle deals yet another blow to government officials who initially planned to stay in their positions into 2028.

But no more. President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn into office on Jan. 20, 2025, paving the way for a new wave of conservative and Republican allies to take over.

Dems Concede 2024 Loss Stems from Border Invasion Biden-Harris Created

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Democrats are now conceding that their failure to tackle the illegal immigration invasion at the southern border was “political malpractice” that cost them the 2024 election.

Senate Democrats reportedly made these admissions during a lunch meeting in Congress’s Mansfield Room, later repeating them in off-the-record interviews with The Hill.

“We destroyed ourselves on the immigration issue in ways that were entirely predictable and entirely manageable,” one Democratic senator said, according to the outlet. “We utterly mismanaged that issue, including our Democratic caucus here.”

The senator added, “That’s political malpractice. That’s not someone else’s fault. That’s not the groups pushing us around.”

Other Democrats echoed this sentiment, admitting that Biden made what The Hill described as a “huge mistake” by ending President Donald Trump’s popular policies like Title 42 and Remain in Mexico.

“Biden’s decision allowed millions of migrants to stay in the country while their asylum cases slowly moved through the courts,” The Hill noted.

Another anonymous senator rebuked Biden for halting border enforcement, implementing a 100-day moratorium on deportations and pausing deportation orders.

“Why would you do that? Who are you trying to play to? What’s the benefit to that?” the individual said, referring to Biden’s nonexistent border policy as his “Achilles’ heel.”

A third senator urged Democrats to “look at exactly what happened” in the 2024 election when Trump swept all battleground states and sent Vice President Kamala Harris packing back to California.

“We know we lost men, we lost Hispanics, we lost women. We’re not connecting with people, but also it’s part of the pendulum swinging” to the right, this senator said, according to The Hill.

The senator also cited Trump’s powerful social media presence, which succeeded despite bans from nearly all Big Tech platforms following the 2020 election.

“Social media is, so far, the unanalyzed and unaccounted-for factor,” the senator added. “Something is happening there that we didn’t address.”

Trump May Use Neocons in New Admin. to Push America First Agenda

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Many President-elect Donald Trump’s supporters were disappointed with some of Trump’s nominations, claiming that they are “neocons” and won’t be suitable for the America First movement.

However, people close to Trump informed the Daily Caller that Trump could use those people to implement his agenda.

Among the politicians who faced the most criticism were Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., who was nominated to be Secretary of State; Rep. Michael Waltz, R-Fla., who was nominated for National Security Adviser; and Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., who was nominated for United Nations Ambassador.

The Caller reported that America First conservatives claimed that these politicians have “hawkish” beliefs, which means they would support more foreign wars.

However, national security insiders revealed that the picks align more with Trump’s agenda than many would initially expect.

“If you take a look at what Trump is doing across his cabinet picks, he’s building the MAGA movement to go well beyond his Republican base, which is why he’s plugged in Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F Kennedy Jr. He’s making a bigger tent, and that is the stuff of legacy,” Morgan Murphy, former press secretary to the Secretary of Defense during the Trump administration and National Security Adviser to Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., said.

Insiders also pointed out that Trump knows he needs the politicians who may not be isolationists.

“Trump is now savvy about how Washington works and likely knows he needs the neocons. They’re more entrenched in D.C. than America first. And there are just more of them. The only kind of foreign policy people that are harping on America first and have been consistent, there’s less than a dozen,” one former Trump national security official said, adding that Trump “may be looking at someone who speaks their language, who can help blend the two agendas.”

Some sources also stated that Rubio was chosen to be tough on China, noting that “ideology doesn’t really mean that much” and that Trump needs people who would be able to help him push back against Russia, China, Iran and North Korea.

“Based on his nominees, I think Trump is building a FAFO foreign policy,” John Noonan, a senior adviser to POLARIS National Security, said. “We want peace. But if you F around with the United States, be ready to find out.”

Yikes: Bill Clinton Struggled to Sleep w/ Hillary After Trump’s 2016 Upset

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Former President Bill Clinton admitted he struggled to sleep after his wife, Hillary Clinton, lost the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump.

Clinton admitted this in his newly published memoir, Citizen: My Life After the White House, released on November 19, 2024.

“The whole thing is hard for me to write,” Clinton wrote, as reported by the Daily Mail. “I couldn’t sleep for two years after the election. I was so angry, I wasn’t fit to be around.”

In the same passage, Clinton recounted his post-election rage: “I apologize to all those who endured my outbursts of rage, which lasted for years and bothered or bored people who thought it pointless to rehash things that couldn’t be changed.”

Clinton described the Nov. 8, 2016, contest as the “darkest election possible in the United States” and falsely blamed Russia and the FBI’s criminal investigation for his wife’s loss.

“Almost two years after the election, Kathleen Hall Jamieson, a highly regarded social scientist said Russia’s cyber attacks piled on top of Comey’s interventions were effective enough to persuade voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to vote for third parties or stay at home,” Clinton claimed.

“If so, Putin’s enablers were Comey and the political press,” he continued, echoing false talking points cited by Democrats to explain Trump’s 2016 upset.

Clinton also addressed his controversial relationship with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. He lamented, “The bottom line is, even though it allowed me to visit the work of my foundation, traveling on Epstein’s plane was not worth the years of questioning afterward. I wish I had never met him.”

Clinton also made headlines this month after excerpts on Monica Lewinsky, the former White House intern with whom he had an affair, surfaced online.

According to The Guardian, Clinton wrote about his frustration when an NBC reporter asked if he had apologized to Lewinsky directly.

“I said, ‘No, I felt terrible then.’ ‘Did you ever apologize to her?’ I said that I had apologized to her and everybody else I wronged,” Clinton wrote.

“I was caught off guard by what came next,” the former president added, “‘But you didn’t apologize to her, at least according to folks that we’ve talked to.’ I fought to contain my frustration as I replied that while I’d never talked to her directly, I did say publicly on more than [one] occasion I was sorry.”
