REPORT: NYC Sheltering Nearly 60,000 Criminal Illegals

(Headline USA) New York City is sheltering nearly 60,000 illegal migrants who are facing or have already been convicted of criminal charges, according to the New York Post.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement data showed that 58,626 of the 759,218 illegal migrants living in New York City, or 7.7% of the city’s migrant population, have some sort of criminal rap sheet.

Of the 58,626 criminal migrants, 1,153 are “suspected or known gang members,” ICE added.

If New York officials refuse to change the city’s sanctuary laws, which protect migrants by barring local law enforcement from working with federal immigration authorities,” it could “take a lifetime to clear the city of the criminals that we have,” said Kenneth Genalo, the head of ICE’s New York City office.

Even some New York Democrats said they were appalled by the revelation from ICE.

“These numbers make it clear what everyone but our elected officials already know: sanctuary city laws are endangering New Yorkers by shielding criminals instead of protecting law-abiding citizens,” City Councilman Robert Holden, a Queens Democrat, told the New York Post.

City Council Minority Leader Joe Borelli argued the Democratic Party is entirely to blame.

“The Democratic Party, top to bottom, is responsible for every single one of these criminals and should be financially responsible to compensate crime victims,” he said.

When shown the ICE data, a spokesperson for New York City Mayor Eric Adams claimed the mayor has “repeatedly” pushed for having a “serious conversation about the small number of individuals who repeatedly commit violent crimes in our city.”

The spokesperson added that Adams will “continue to respect our city’s sanctuary laws.”

President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming border czar, Tom Homan, has warned Democratic-run sanctuary cities that they must comply with federal immigration authorities starting next year or risk losing federal funding.

“It is a felony to knowingly harbor or conceal an illegal immigrant from immigration authorities. Don’t test us,” Homan said last week.

Disney Actress Slams Black, Latino Men for Not Voting for Kamala

(Maire Clayton, Headline USA) Actress Jenifer Lewis appeared on Friday’s episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show podcast and bashed black and Latino men who did not vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Lewis claimed misogyny was the reason Harris lost the election to President-elect Donald Trump.

“They didn’t vote for her because she was a woman,” she said. “They didn’t care that she was smart and powerful, educated, beautiful, kind, joyful, fearless!”

The Black-ish actress continued her rant to host Stephen A. Smith and stated the vice president would have protected the country.

“She would have surrounded herself with great minds!” she added. “But keeping women in their place was more important to them!”

Lewis insanely alleged Trump would use the military and police to shoot black men in the back.

“Y’all done f***ed up,” she said. “We have f***ed up. End of story.”

The rant continued, as Lewis stated men voted for Trump because of self-loathing.

“They voted for [Trump] because they hate themselves,” she said. “And they see this thing [Trump] as powerful, that he’s gonna move mountains for them and make them rich, and unfortunately, black men, they want a man.”

Lewis also decided to compare Trump to Superman’s archenemy Lex Luthor.

“Lex Luthor is finally in the f***ing White House, what are you going to do about it?” she said.

However, this was not the first time the Disney actress—who voiced Mama Odie in The Princess and The Frog and Flo from the Cars series—criticized Trump.

Earlier in the year she compared the president-elect to Hitler.

Trump ended up securing more black votes than any Republican candidate did in roughly 50 years, according to Newsweek.

He also doubled his support with black men under 45.

Trump also captured 55% of the vote with Hispanic men, up 19 points from his 2020 run, according to Reuters.

Jamie Raskin Challenges Jerry Nadler to Lead Dems’ #Resistance

(Headline USA) Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland announced Monday that he will run to become the top Democrat on the powerful House Judiciary Committee next year, directly challenging fellow Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler as the party prepares to fight a second Trump administration and an emboldened Republican majority.

“House Democrats must stand in the breach to defend the principles and institutions of constitutional democracy,” Raskin wrote in a letter to colleagues. “That is our historic assignment now. We dare not fail.”

Raskin said in the letter — obtained by The Associated Press — that he decided to run for the post after spending the week consulting with House Democrats and “engaging in serious introspection” about where the party is following their stunning electoral defeat last month that handed Republicans control of Congress and the White House.

While currently the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, Raskin said that come next year, the Judiciary Committee under his leadership would become “the headquarters of Congressional opposition to authoritarianism” as well as other efforts by President Donald Trump and his allies to thwart the Constitution.

Being the face of the resistance against Trump is not new territory for Raskin who spent the last two years on Oversight as the most vocal defender of President Joe Biden and his family as they faced a sprawling Republican investigation — encouraged by Trump — into their various business affairs.

Raskin, who is a former constitutional law professor, also helped draft articles of impeachment against the incoming president for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill uprising.

More recently, Raskin led his own attempt of a so-called insurrection. Earlier this year, he remarked that “it’s going to be up to us on Jan. 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified.” He then claimed that lawmakers who refuse to certify Trump’s Electoral College win would need “bodyguards” afterwards.

But by throwing his hat in the ring, Raskin is inviting what a bitter intra-party fight with Nadler, who is currently serving his 17th term in Congress and who has held the top spot on Judiciary since 2019. Democrats have over the years rarely broken from the seniority system for committee assignments, no matter how long someone has held a position, making the outcome of the race uncertain.

Both men did not respond to requests for comment but Raskin closed his letter by praising Nadler, saying that he made this decision “with respect and boundless admiration” for him.

“If I’m lucky enough to be chosen for this responsibility in the 119th Congress, I will turn to Jerry first and throughout for his always wise counsel and political judgment,” Raskin added.

DNC Official Reveals Obama, Pelosi ‘Did Not Want’ Kamala Harris

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Lindy Li, a member of the Democratic National Committee’s finance committee, revealed Sunday that former President Barack Obama and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi opposed Vice President Kamala Harris becoming the 2024 presidential nominee.

Referencing friends from Obama’s circle and her personal friendship with Pelosi, Li told NewsNation indubitably that both top Democrats would have rather held a primary than coronate Harris to fill Biden’s sudden vacancy atop the ticket.

“I know they didn’t,” Li said when asked about Obama and Pelosi. “I have a lot of friends in Obama world and, actually, I’m friends with Speaker Pelosi. And I spoke with her before I actually, I actually went on air to encourage President Biden to step aside.”

Li described her own appearance on Fox News Sunday on July 21—the same day Biden ended his campaign.

She said she spoke to Pelosi about her remarks calling for Biden to step down before going on air.

“It’s not a matter of conjecture for me,” she told NewsNation. “I know they didn’t.”

At the time, Pelosi told Li her public call for Biden to drop out was “fine.”

“It was necessary. It became clear that he was no longer effectively able to litigate the case against Trump,” Li said. “And Obama and Pelosi were both hoping for a primary instead of a coronation, so to speak.”

Li said the former House Speaker did not have her eyes on one particular candidate but noted that Obama was “carefully vetting” Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., when Biden withdrew.

“I know there were other names on his list,” the DNC official said. “I’m not saying that Kamala Harris was necessarily at the top of the list, but he was definitely considering other candidates. I don’t think she was ruled out.”

Li told NewsNation that many Democrats were hoping for a “lightning round” primary, which never came.

She suggested Biden blocked a democratic primary when he endorsed Harris after announcing his withdrawal.

“I don’t think anyone saw that coming. We did not see that coming,” Li said. “I think a lot of people anticipated he might have stepped aside, but no one anticipated the two for that we got that day.”

Bill Maher Confronts Jane Fonda on ‘Crazy’ Pregnant Men of the Left

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Comedian Bill Maher confronted actress Jane Fonda about the left’s “crazy” defense of pregnant men on Sunday’s episode of the Club Random Podcast.

Maher told Fonda, a liberal activist from as far back as the 1960s, that Americans believe the far left “has gone so nutty on so many issues,” to which Fonda countered by blaming critics like Maher for the perception.

“Because it’s true,” Maher said in defense of calling out Democrats. “You think the far left does nothing crazy?”

Fonda sarcastically remarked that she is sure leftists support absurd causes, but quizzed him on the definition of “far left.”

Maher provided an example of the NAACP’s travel advisory warning black Americans against going to Florida.

“Every day; there’s stories like that, which just makes people roll their eyes and go, ‘Are you people nuts?’” he said.

Maher told Fonda that he thinks not a single black American adhered to the travel advisory, but made the point that the average person is left with the following question for radical Democrats: “Wow, do you people ever find anything that’s ridiculous?”

Maher brought up the bizarre idea that men can get pregnant, which he said was different than the notion that a transgender, a woman who identifies as a man, could get pregnant.

“I understand that a trans woman can get pregnant. That’s different than a man getting pregnant,” Maher said. “And they way they sort of, like, insist on blurring that line as if that’s some sort of social cause as opposed to just being for having full rights, respect, and attention for trans people. We get that.”

Fonda told Maher she never heard a leftist prop up the idea of pregnant men.

“I’ve never heard about men getting pregnant. I’ve never heard about this argument,” she claimed. “It must be some part of a, what you call, the far left that is so minuscule that I, who am—”

Maher interjected, telling the actress, who claimed to only read two newspapers, that she must not be consorting sources that tell the full story.

“No, Jane. It’s not minuscule. And I’m sorry, you can’t throw this back on us,” he said. “I assume it’s because you are locked into media that just never… never wants anyone in their audience to know anything sketchy about the blue team,” the Club Random Podcast host said.

Fonda suggested she give Fox News a watch, which Maher immediately advised against.

Despite Daddy’s Pardon, DOJ Refuses to Drop Case against Hunter Biden

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Outgoing President Joe Biden may have pardoned his son, Hunter Biden—but that hasn’t stopped Justice Department prosecutors from continuing their case against him.

In a motion filed Monday, the DOJ opposed Hunter’s motion to dismiss the indictment against him, arguing that a pardon doesn’t require that the indictment be dismissed.

“As a matter of past-practice in this district, courts do not dismiss indictments when pardons are granted,” prosecutors said in their motion.

“Rather, in each of the most recent cases where pardons have been granted by former President Obama and former President Trump, the United States District Court for the Central District of California has not dismissed the indictment,” they said.

“Instead, it has been the practice of this court that once an Executive Grant of Clemency has been filed on the docket, the docket is marked closed, the disposition entry is updated to reflect the executive grant of clemency, and no further action is taken by the Court.”

The DOJ explained that the reason pardons don’t lead to the expungement of an indictment.

“A pardon is an act of grace, proceeding from the power intrusted with the execution of the laws, which exempts the individual on whom it is bestowed, from the punishment the law inflicts for a crime he has committed,” prosecutors said, citing former Chief Justice John Marshall.

The DOJ cited the time when Donald Trump pardoned Steve Bannon as a case where a pardon didn’t lead to the expungement of an indictment.

President Biden’s pardon followed Hunter’s guilty plea to nine counts of tax crimes. He was previously convicted of three counts of making false statements on a federal gun purchase form. He is expected to be sentenced later this month.

The indictments followed years of investigation by Special Counsel David Weiss, which Republicans alleged was intentionally delayed allowing the statute of limitations to expire on certain offenses. Biden’s pardon stretches back to 2014.

Unhinged Dems Still Fixated on Trump in Reactions to Biden’s Corrupt Pardon

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Democrats did not hesitate to prove their ongoing fixation on President-elect Donald Trump in reactions to President Joe Biden pardoning his son, Hunter Biden, on Sunday.

Biden went back on his promise not to commute his son’s impending sentence by issuing a blanket pardon spanning Jan. 2014 through Dec. 2024.

The Democrat president channeled Trump’s rhetoric in his statement by saying his own Department of Justice “unfairly” targeted Hunter Biden due to their familial relationship.

Former Biden White House Director of Message Planning Meghan Hays suggested Monday that Trump’s nomination of disruptive Cabinet picks, most recently Kash Patel as FBI director on Saturday, could have changed his mind.

“I do think with some of the nominations that Trump has put it, it probably caused a little bit of worry for him,” Hayes told CNN panelists. “But also, I think people have to remember, the president’s lost two children already. And he does not need to lose another one.”

House Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., and The View co-host Ana Navarro-Cárdenas signaled support for Biden’s pardon by pointing out that Trump was convicted of 34 felony charges by a Manhattan jury—politicized charges Trump will not be sentenced for as the case stalled out.

John Bolton, former National Security Adviser to Trump, cried out Monday that Biden’s pardon will enable Trump to pardon those unfairly prosecuted over the incident on Jan. 6, 2021.

“Biden is doing exactly the wrong thing by pardoning Hunter,” Bolton wrote on X. “This will now give Trump the license to pardon all of his supporters including those from Jan 6th.”

Trump evoked potential Jan. 6 pardons in his own reaction late Sunday.

“Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years?” Trump wrote. “Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!”

Gov. Jared Polis, D-Colo., said Biden ruined his legacy by putting “his family ahead of the country.”

“This is a bad precedent that could be abused by later Presidents and will sadly tarnish his reputation,” the Colorado governor wrote in part. “When you become President, your role is Pater familias of the nation. Hunter brought the legal trouble he faced on himself, and one can sympathize with his struggles while also acknowledging that no one is above the law, not a President and not a President’s son.”

Pollster Nate Silver blasted Biden for “kicking salt in the wound” of Trump’s win of a second term.

“The White House consistently lied about this,” Silver wrote. “Biden’s stubborn insistence on running for reelection was perhaps the singular most important factor in Trump 2.0, and now he’s kicking salt in the wound of the party brand he helped to destroy.”

House GOP’s Final COVID Report Lauds Operation Warp Speed as ‘Tremendous Success’

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic released its final report on Monday, debunking the scientific basis for lockdowns, vaccine mandates and other COVID-era government policies.

The 557-page report also found that—contrary to what Dr. Anthony Fauci and other government officials insisted—the U.S. National Institutes of Health funded controversial gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The subcommittee deemed that “the possibility that COVID-19 emerged because of a laboratory or research related accident is not a conspiracy theory.”

However, the report also defended the Trump administration’s controversial Operation Warp Speed, which fast-tracked the development of the COVID-19 vaccine. Critics, including the nominee to head the Department of Health and Human Services, have argued that the MNRA shots produced by Warp Speed have had massive health side effects—while failing to stop the spread of COVID.

But according to the House GOP’s report, “Operation Warp Speed was a tremendous success and a model to build upon in the future.

“The vaccines, which are now probably better characterized as therapeutics, undoubtedly saved millions of lives by diminishing likelihood of severe disease and death,” the report said.

“The subcommittee report quoted Dr. Fauci as one of its sources that Warp Speed was a success. By nearly all accounts, this was an incredible feat of science which was made possible by the unique structure of OWS. Dr. Fauci, though reluctant to give credit to the Trump Administration, characterized the effort as ‘the best decision [he’s] ever made with regard to an intervention as director of the institute,’” the report said.

“Dr. Fauci also testified that OWS was a ‘great success.’”

The report also criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for sewing public distrust with Operation Warp Speed, referring to the fact that she said she wouldn’t commit to getting the jab while Trump was president in 2020.

While the House GOP apparently fell in line with Trump’s pro-Warp Speed stance, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, for his part, has called to hold those accountable who rushed the vaccine and pushed for it to be mandatory.

“We need a reckoning for what this government did during COVID-19. That includes the MNRA shots,” he said during a presidential debate last December, citing the FDA’s approval of the vaccine for six-month-old babies as one of the more heinous moves by the pharmaceutical industry.

House Trump Shooting Task Force to Hold Final Hearing on Thursday

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The House Task Force investigating the Trump assassination attempts has announced that it will hold its final hearing on Thursday with Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe.

The Task Force announced its final hearing Monday, setting it to be held publicly at 9:30 a.m. The hearing will cover both the July 13 Trump shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania, as well as the Sept. 15 assassination attempt against Trump at his Palm Beach golf course.

Noticeably absent from the Task Force’s hearing are FBI Director Christopher Wray, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and ATF Director Stephen Dettelbach. Wray testified about the Butler shooting before the House Judiciary Committee in July, but has otherwise been silent on the matter.

Last week, Wray and Mayorkas were scheduled to testify before the House and Senate last week  about “threats to the homeland”—but they cancelled their appearances at the last minute.

The Task Force’s final report is due on Dec. 13.

Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa., who chairs the House Task Force investigating the Trump assassination attempts, recently signaled that one of the outcomes of his investigation will be recommending that the Secret Service become an independent, standalone agency—removing it from being housed within the Department of Homeland Security.

“Separating them, truly making them this elite group to increase the numbers of the people they need, all the assets they need that’s the best approach,” Kelly told WENY News in an article last week. Kelly was likely referencing the fact that the Secret Service had to rely on agents from the DHS’s Homeland Security Investigations to assist with security at Butler and other campaign events.

Ranking member Rep. Jason Crow, D-Co., said the Task Force has interviewed 45 law enforcement officials, examined thousands of documents, and held several closed-door briefings as part of its investigation into the July 13 assassination attempt on Trump.

Crow said in a statement that the final investigatory report will include recommendations to ensure “something like this never happens again.”

Deputies Killed in Florida Worked w/ Trump’s Security Detail

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The three Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies killed in a Nov. 20 car crash previously worked with Donald Trump’s security detail in numerous events.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies—Corporal Luis Paez, Deputy Sheriff Ralph “Butch” Waller and Deputy Ignacio “Dan” Diaz—were killed by a female driver while conducting traffic enforcement. The woman was reportedly not impaired, but overcorrected when she tried passing a car to her right.

Paez and Walle were killed immediately while Diaz died about five days later.

According to WPTV News in Florida, the three deputies worked “hand-in-glove” with the Secret Service on the Trump protection detail.

“From motorcades to blocking travel routes, these deputies worked very closely within the lawyers of protection for the President-elect,” the outlet reported last week.

Secret Service “challenge coins” were reportedly left behind at the scene of crash. According to former Secret Service agent Tim Miller, agents use such coins as a way to respect and honor those who receive them.

“You’re working with these guys every day, and they become family,” Miller reportedly said. “And so the Secret Service is hurting right now, on a level that only law enforcement members can understand.”

According to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Paez began his career at PBSO in January of 1988 as a Corrections Deputy before moving to Road Patrol—serving passionately as a motor deputy for more than 20 years. Waller served for over 18 years in its motor unit, having started his law enforcement career with the Royal Palm Beach Police Department before it merged with PBSO in October 2008.  Diaz, joined PBSO in 2004 and was a member of the motor unit for over 10 years.

Sheriff Ric Bradshaw reportedly said President-Elect Trump and Vice President-Elect JD Vance have reached out to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office with their condolences.

“We again mourn the loss of our brothers who dedicated their lives to serving and protecting Palm Beach County. We stand together, honoring their memory and supporting their families, friends, and colleagues through this time of immense sorrow,” PBSO said in a press release.
