Trump Trolls Trudeau: Suggests Annexing Canada as 51st State

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President-elect Donald Trump has once again showcased his masterful ability at trolling his foes, this time taking a jab at embattled Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

On Tuesday, Trump shared via Truth Social an AI-generated photo of himself standing atop a Canadian mountain next to the Maple Leaf flag, with the caption, “Oh Canada!”

Many users on X speculated that the image suggested annexing Canada to the United States. Trump shared the photo just days after Trudeau visited Mar-a-Lago to make amends.

Trump made the annexation joke during his meeting with Trudeau, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy reported.

Doocy reported, “We are told that when Trudeau told President-elect Trump that new tariffs would kill the Canadian economy, Trump joked to him that if Canada can’t survive without ripping off the U.S. to the tune of $100 billion a year then maybe Canada should become the 51st state and Trudeau could become its governor.”

As reported by Politico, Trudeau likely saw the Mar-a-Lago visit as a potential opportunity to save face amid low approval ratings and internal threats against this tenure as prime minister.

The rushed Mar-a-Lago visit came after Trump announced looming tariffs on Canadian products ahead of his second administration.

“On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States, and its ridiculous Open Borders,” Trump wrote on social media.

“This Tariff will remain in effect until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country!” he added.

Trump also announced plans to impose tariffs on China and other BRICS countries. “I have had many talks with China about the massive amounts of drugs, in particular Fentanyl, being sent into the United States — But to no avail,” Trump remarked.

Trump vowed to impose an additional 10 percent tariff on Chinese products”above any additional Tariffs, on all of their many products coming into the United States of America.”

Trump is known for using humor to take jabs at his adversaries. Last week, he included “Radical Left Lunatics” in his Thanksgiving message.

Similarly, Trump offered to pay outgoing Vice President Kamala Harris’s $20 million debt while boasting of his campaign’s surplus.

‘Any Other Subject?’ Schumer Goes Mum When Pressed About Biden’s Pardon

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Chuck Schumer, the soon-to-be former Senate majority leader, conveniently evaded questions Tuesday about President Joe Biden’s hypocritical pardon of his son, Hunter Biden.

Schumer repeatedly deflected the damning questions during a press conference announcing the new minority leaders.

“I’ve got nothing for you on that,” he said when asked whether he agreed with fellow Democrats who had called the pardon “wrong” and “unwise.”

This silence followed Biden’s controversial pardon of Hunter, widely seen as a move to protect both Bidens from legal accountability.

Another reporter questioned Schumer about Biden’s lack of transparency, given the scandal-plagued president’s earlier—and false—assurances he would not pardon his son.

“As I said, I got nothing for you on that,” Schumer reiterated.

Asked whether Biden’s use of the pardon to benefit family members sets a “poor precedent,” Schumer said, “Thank you. I’ve got nothing for you on that.”

A third reporter asked Schumer about President-elect Donald Trump’s potential use of Biden’s pardon to justify pardoning Jan. 6 protesters correctly. The reporter asked, “Isn’t this a problem? Did he not establish a bad precedent?”

Like a broken record, Schumer replied, “I’ve got nothing for you on that,” before asking, “Any other subjects? Any other subjects?”

Schumer’s hypocritical silence sharply contrasts his party’s longstanding—and false—claims of defending law and order by preaching that “no one is above the law.” For months, Democrats touted their moral superiority, citing Biden’s repeated promises that his son would not be pardoned for two criminal convictions.

The hypocrisy became even more apparent when Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., was confronted with his past statements on CNN.

“What does that feel like watching yourself back then reassuring people that Biden was not going to issue a pardon for his son?” host Brianna Keilar asked.

Goldman responded, “I think that if that plea agreement and that plea deal had gone through there would be no pardon. That was a satisfactory outcome.”

Laken Riley’s Venezuelan Killer Demands Taxpayers Fund New Trial

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Tren de Aragua criminal Jose Ibarra—who entered the U.S. illegally and was convicted for the inhumane murder of Laken Riley—is now demanding taxpayers fund a new trial.

Ibarra is reportedly seeking to overturn the guilty verdict, according to the New York Post. He faced the guilty verdict in November 2020 after crushing Riley’s skull during the attempted sexual assault.

On Tuesday, Ibarra’s defense attorneys filed a two-page motion urging Judge H. Patrick Haggard to set aside the verdict and penalties from the bench trial.

The defense dubiously argued that Haggard “committed other errors of law that necessitate a new trial,” chastising the decision as “contrary to law” and “to evidence.”

However, the motion lacked specific details justifying the claim, the Post reported. Instead, the attorneys requested the judge “review the facts and circumstances” of the trial.

It isn’t immediately clear whether the judge will reject or accept the motion, which appears to be part of Ibarra’s plan to appeal the decision.

The motion came approximately two weeks after Haggard found Ibarra guilty of 10 counts of murder, malice murder, kidnapping with bodily injury, aggravated assault with intent to rape and Peeping Tom charges. He was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.

Ibarra targeted Riley during her jog on Feb. 22, 2024, a year after entering the U.S. illegally. Riley fought for her life for 18 agonizing minutes before succumbing to her injuries, her skull crushed and her body partially unclothed.

Ibarra, a Venezuelan national, was one of the millions of illegal aliens paroled into the U.S. by the outgoing Biden-Harris administration after entering the country illegally in September 2022.

Law enforcement officials initially apprehended Ibarra’s brother, Diego Ibarra, on suspicion of the crime. Diego later pleaded guilty to possession of a false green card and had been arrested three times since entering the U.S. for a DUI and driving without a license, shoplifting and failure to appear, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.

Both Ibarra and Diego were confirmed members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

Trump’s DEA Nominee Pulls Out Following MAGA Revolt over Lockdown History

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the DEA, has withdrawn from consideration amid mounting backlash over his role in enforcing Florida’s COVID-19 lockdowns.

Chronister did not reference the protests in his withdrawal announcement and instead attributed his decision to the need to remain as Hillsborough County’s sheriff.

“Over the past several days, as the gravity of this very important responsibility set in, I’ve concluded that I must respectfully withdraw from consideration,” he wrote Tuesday via X.

“There is more work to be done for the citizens of Hillsborough County and a lot of initiatives I am committed to fulfilling,” the embattled sheriff said.

Chronister said he “sincerely” appreciated Trump’s consideration and the “outpouring of support by the American people.”

But the support was partial and scant, with many critics pointing out Chronister’s decision to jail Pastor Dr. Ronald Howard-Browne for spreading the Gospel during church services.

Howard-Browne and Chronister, who were friends before the pastor’s arrest, have since mended their relationship, with Howard-Browne endorsing Trump’s nomination of the sheriff.

At the time, however, Chronister chastised the pastor in a press release, claiming his “reckless disregard for human life” put others in danger.

Howard-Browne’s mugshot was widely circulated by legacy media outlets, seemingly as a humiliating attempt to force him and other faith leaders to fall in line with lockdowns.

Despite Trump’s praise, several Republicans and First Amendment advocates criticized Chronister’s nomination to lead the DEA.

“Glad to see him withdraw from consideration,” Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., wrote via X. “Next time politicians lose their ever-lovin minds, he can redeem himself by following the Constitution.”

The popular X page End Wokeness echoed these sentiments, posting, “Now you can go back to arresting innocent pastors and boaters.”

In contrast, Trump lauded Chronister in his announcement of the nomination earlier this week: “As DEA Administrator, Chad will work with our great Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to secure the Border, stop the flow of Fentanyl, and other Illegal Drugs, across the Southern Border, and SAVE LIVES.”

Tellingly, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who signed the order leading to Howard-Browne’s arrest, praised Chronister’s nomination by citing the sheriff’s efforts to remove Soros-funded prosecutors.

“When we removed Soros-backed prosecutor Andrew Warren from office, nobody supported us more strongly than Sheriff Chad Chronister,” DeSantis said. “And when the deposed Soros prosecutor ran to reclaim the office this year, Sheriff Chronister led the opposition to that candidacy and helped ensure the election of tough-on-crime prosecutor Suzy Lopez.”

DeSantis added, “I congratulate Chad on his nomination and look forward to him taking on the drug cartels on behalf of the American people.”

NYC Mayor Says ‘Cancel Me’ as He Vows to Work with Trump’s Border Czar

(Maire Clayton, Headline USA) New York City Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday he is committed to working with the Trump administration to address the city’s illegal immigration problem.

“I would love to sit down with the border czar and hear his thoughts on how we are going to address those who are harming our citizens,” he said.

The Democrat expressed his desire to “work together” to solve the city’s migrant issue.

“Find out what his plans are, where our common grounds are,” Adams added. “We can work together.”

Adams said the crime needs to end.

“Those who are here committing crimes, robberies shooting at police officers, raping innocent people, have been a harm to our country,” he added.

The mayor gave a stern warning to illegals coming into the city.

“If you come into this country and this city and think you are going to harm innocent New Yorkers, and innocent migrants and asylum seekers, this is not the mayor you want to be under,” Adams said.

He noted he was not afraid of cancel culture.

“Well cancel me,” he continued, “because I’m going to protect the people of this city.”

Incoming border czar Tom Homan told Fox News Monday he was open to speaking with Adams.

“I’m willing to meet with him, and I’m willing to meet with anybody to help make their communities safer,” he said.

During Adams’s press conference, he also expressed the need to remove illegals who commit crimes.

“My position is people who commit crimes in our city, you have abdicated your right to be in our city,” Adams said, “and I am open to figure out the best way to address that.”

It was revealed Saturday that New York City currently houses nearly 60,000 illegal migrants who are facing or have already been convicted of criminal charges.

Charlamagne Tha God Slams Dems over Hunter Biden’s Pardon

(Maire Clayton, Headline USA) Radio host Charlamagne tha God slammed Democrats Monday after President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter.

“I just want Democrats to stop acting like they are on this moral high ground politically, when they have shown us they’re not,” he said.

The “Breakfast Club” co-host criticized how Vice President Kamala Harris did not go through  the traditional process to run when Biden withdrew from his reelection campaign.

“Whether it’s skipping the primary process when Biden stepped down to things like Biden pardoning his son,” he continued. “Stop acting like you all are the pure party and Republicans aren’t.”

Charlamagne also ripped Joe Biden for claiming his son was singled out in his statement when he pardoned Hunter Biden.

“Hunter was singled out because he broke the law. That’s number one,” Charlamagne said. “He was singled out because he had an illegal gun and tax evasion charges, not because he was the president’s son.”

Joe Biden claimed his election to the presidency caused his son to be “unfairly” charged.

“No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son–and that is wrong,” the president said.

Biden’s pardon stretched all the way from Jan. 1, 2014, through Dec. 1, 2024.

Charlamagne also said the pardon showed elected officials essentially have no rules.

“[Biden’s pardon] also shows me elected officials can do whatever they want as long as they have the political will and courage to do it,” he added.

Comedian Jon Stewart also decided to poke fun at Democrats as members of the party previously said the lack of pardon meant Democrats respect the laws.

He said Democrats are “getting caught creating a purity test for a system that they can’t seem to pass themselves.”

Carville Calls for Audit of Kamala’s Profligate Spending on Dud Campaign

(Matthew Doarnberger, Headline USA) Longtime Democrat strategist James Carville last week called on his party to audit Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign in order to find out what happened to the money spent by her political team.

Carville suggested on a Thanksgiving Day episode of Politicon’s “Politics War Room” that the total amount raised by the campaign, combined with the amount raised on her behalf by Harris-supporting super-PAC Future Forward, may have exceeded the gross domestic product of the world’s 20 poorest countries.

“I’m telling you, without complete transparency, the campaign—we think—raised a billion and a half dollars,” said Carville, who managed former President Bill Clinton’s successful campaigns in the 1990s.

Based on the last quarterly fundraising figures from Future Forward, which reported a $900 war chest, “we can assume that they got to a billion before the election,” Carville continued. “That’s two and a half freaking billion dollars.”

Sources told Politico and NewsNation that Harris’s campaign was roughly $20 million in debt following the Nov. 5 loss to Donald Trump. As a result, they have continued to ask for donations in the weeks after their electoral defeat.

The campaign expenditures have now faced growing scrutiny, with a recent New York Times article exploring how it went through $1.5 billion dollars during an abbreviated, 15-week stint following the withdrawal of President Joe Biden.

Among other things, reports have emerged that Harris offered hefty fees to celebrities and influencers, including Oprah Winfrey and Al Sharpton, in return for their support.

Carville said supporters deserved to have a fuller picture concerning the spending habits of the Harris campaign.

“We’re going to audit the campaign,” he said. “We’re going to audit Future Forward. We’re going to audit the DNC so people can know.”

Donors in particular have expressed outrage over the Harris campaign’s record-breaking haul having evaporated after the resounding defeat, as well as the vice president’s tone-deaf response.

In a donor call last week while vacationing in Hawaii, Harris appeared drunk and deflected talk of mass layoffs at the Democratic National Committee by sharing holiday recipes.

Carville warned that the campaign’s excessive and careless spending damage may do to the Democratic Party going forward.

“The resistance is going to have trouble raising money,” he said, referring to the well-funded cabal of disloyal government entities, billionaire oligarchs and woke corporations that colluded to defeat President-elect Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

“These fundraisers are burnt,” he added. “They’re really pissed now, and the damage that the 2024 campaign has done—the damage that this decade has done to the Democratic brand—is almost unfathomable.”

‘I’m Sh**ting My Pants’: Bill Maher Entertains Rage Quitting Over Trump’s Second Term

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Comedian Bill Maher entertained quitting as host of his late-night television show, Real Time with Bill Maher, because he does not want to deal with covering President-elect Donald Trump’s second term.

In Sunday’s episode of his Club Random Podcast, Maher told actress Jane Fonda that he “may quit” over his lack of desire to ride the same rollercoaster he experienced as host during Trump’s first term.

“I’m sh**ting my pants,” he told Fonda, who sympathized with his fatigue. “I mean, I may quit because I don’t want to do another… I did Trump. I did all the Trump stuff before anybody.”

Maher claimed credit for being the first to call Trump a “conman” and a “mafia boss.”

He added that he predicted Trump would not concede the 2020 presidential election.

“I’ve done it. I’ve seen this f**king—” Maher rattled before Fonda interjected.

The leftist starlet challenged Maher by asking why Trump was more hostile to comedian Jimmy Kimmel than him, which triggered a perturbed response from the Real Time host.

“He’s very hostile to me! He tweets about me every week!” Maher sputtered to Fonda, who still wasn’t buying it.

Maher said Trump “accidentally” watches his show every week and criticizes Maher as a “low-ratings loser.”

“But… I mean, I just… I’m bored of it,” he said.

Fonda urged Maher to find a new schtick away from Trump but struggled to give examples of the “something else” she suggested.

Dejected, Maher told her, “The show is the politics! There’s no other thing. And he’s going to dominate the news like he always does.”

Macron Snubs Biden, Invites Trump to Historic Paris Event

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) In an apparent snub to lame duck President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron invited U.S. President-elect Donald Trump to attend the historic reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral five years after it burned down, CNN reported.

Trump announced Tuesday on Truth Social that he plans to travel to Paris for the event Saturday, calling it a “very special day.”

“It is an honor to announce that I will be traveling to Paris, France, on Saturday to attend the re-opening of the Magnificent and Historic Notre Dame Cathedral, which has been fully restored after a devastating fire five years ago,” Trump wrote. “President Emmanuel Macron has done a wonderful job ensuring that Notre Dame has been restored to its full level of glory, and even more so. It will be a very special day for all!”

Trump’s trip to France will be his first major appearance on the world stage since winning the election. However, the president-elect has not hesitated to luck start his foreign policy.

On Monday, Trump warned Islamic terror group Hamas there will be “HELL TO PAY” if hostages taken as part of the Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel are not freed before Inauguration Day.

Trump also threatened Mexico and Canada with tariffs to coerce both countries into agreeing to work to stop illegal migrants from pouring into the U.S. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promptly jetted to Mar-a-Lago for dinner with Trump, where the two discussed the open border and potential trade consequences.

Meanwhile, the White House sent Biden to Africa after he pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, on Sunday.

The outgoing Democrat traveled abroad to other odd locations on his farewell tour following Trump’s win, including the Amazon jungle in Brazil, where he appeared to disappear into the rainforest.

Butler DA Allegedly Refusing to Pursue Grand Jury Probe into Trump Shooting

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger has declined to pursue a grand jury investigation into the July 13 assassination attempt against Donald Trump, according to a Pennsylvania GOP committee member who’s lobbying for such a probe.

The GOP committee member, Chet Jack, talked about Goldinger’s alleged lack of action on a recent episode of the “Freedom Brigade Nation podcast.”

“We’ve asked Butler DA Richard Goldinger to ask our president-judge to impanel a grand jury to provide a proper investigation and get to the facts … We’ve recently been told by District Attorney Goldinger that he’s unwilling to advance that to the judge. And so we have a petition that has about 9,000 signatures already,” Jack said.

According to an August report from Human Events, a federal grand jury was convened as part of a criminal investigation into the Trump assassination attempt, which also led to the death of rally-goer Corey Comperatore and the hospitalization of at least two others. That grand jury probe is reportedly taking place in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

However, the petition shared by Jack seeks an “investigative county grand jury” free from federal or state influence. Such a grand jury would produce “an independent investigation, review, and report without regard to political ideology or belief, unburdened by persuasion or influence by any Federal, State, or Local agency,” according to the online petition.

According to the state’s Investigatory Grand Jury Act, Goldinger would have to submit an application to Judge Yeaker, telling him that “a county investigating grand jury is necessary because of the existence of criminal activity within the county which can best be fully investigated using the investigative resources of the grand jury.”

On the Freedom Brigade Nation podcast, Jack said an independent grand jury—which would have the power to subpoena records and compel testimony—is needed because the feds have stonewalled congressional probes.

Additionally, the Secret Service classified its own internal investigation to prevent its public release, while the Department of Homeland Security’s “independent panel review” of the shooting failed to record or transcribe the 58 interviews it conducted—preventing such materials from being released via the Freedom of Information Act.

Goldinger didn’t respond to this reporter’s emails, and did not answer a phone call seeking comment.
