Megyn Kelly: Joe Biden Did Not Pardon Hunter — He Pardoned Himself

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) SiriusXM’s Megyn Kelly defied media spin Monday that President Joe Biden pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, as a “good father” helping his only living son.

Instead, Kelly suggested on her podcast that Biden went back on his promise not to pardon his son because the Democrat president was saving his own skin ahead of the incoming Trump administration’s takeover.

Kelly noted that Biden’s pardon, which said his own Department of Justice “unfairly” targeted Hunter Biden due to their familial relationship, spans from Jan. 2014 through Dec. 2024—just before Hunter Biden joined the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

She said Biden’s son, who was the vice president’s son at the time, had “no expertise” in energy.

“Now, why would you have to go back to all that stuff? I mean, we all know why. Because Joe Biden is pardoning himself and not just his son,” Kelly said. “He wants to make sure that all those alleged crimes, for which his DOJ already gave Hunter a pass, remain untouched.”

The political commentator pointed out that Biden promptly jetted off to Africa after issuing the statement pardoning his son, to which she sarcastically said, “Good on him.”

“A couple of middle fingers for everyone right before he leaves office,” Kelly remarked.

Biden’s statement, released Sunday, read in part: “No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son—and that is wrong. There has been an effort to break Hunter—who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me—and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough.”

Kelly introduced her guests, National Review’s Charles C.W. Cooke and Rich Lowry, and said anyone who consumes media that is not far-left saw Biden’s pardon coming.

“We didn’t like it, we didn’t support it, but nobody believed his lies that he wasn’t gonna do it,” she said.

Ironically, Biden praised himself as a truth-teller in the final part of his statement.

“For my entire career I have followed a simple principle: just tell the American people the truth. They’ll be fair-minded,” the lame duck president wrote in part. “Here’s the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice—and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further.”

Clowns to the Left: Jill Biden’s 2024 Christmas Decorations Are Ready for the Circus

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) If First Lady Jill Biden’s aim was to turn the White House into a holiday extravaganza, she succeeded — unfortunately, the result—once again—feels more like the circus came to town than a dignified Christmas celebration.

On Monday, Jill Biden revealed her final theme for the Biden administration’s Christmas decorations: “A Season for Peace and Light.”

Flanked by white-lit trees on either side of a doorway, the first lady introduced her holiday displays to an audience clutching their cellphones. Behind the doorway, several more sterile and bright Christmas trees lined the hall—and a glimpse of a rainbow-striped curtain adorned in vibrant colors reminiscent of the Big Top peaked out behind her.

“As we celebrate our final holiday season at the White House, we are guided by the values that we hold sacred: faith, family and service to our country, kindness toward all of our neighbors and the power of community,” she said.

Social media users quickly caught on to this year’s Cirque de Biden, posting images of the White House’s most carnivalesque displays. Common assets included bold, red decals spilling red, yellow, blue and black stripes of curtains tied together and brights lights to add to the administration’s circus flair.

All that was missing was a clown car—but that was made up for with an amusement park-style carousel to match the mismatch scene.

Sleigh bells lined the hallways and a ceiling design mimicked snowfall, PBS News reported. It took more than 300 volunteers to decorate the White House this year.

Approximately 83 Christmas trees, 10,000 feet of ribbon, 28,000 ornaments, 2,200 paper doves and 165,000 lights were used to bring Jill Biden’s vision to life, according to the outlet.

“This would not be possible without your work,” she said. “It’s been incredible to watch all of you transform this space year after year, and you traded time with families for hours of gluing.”

Social media users compared Jill Biden’s decorations to incoming First Lady Melania Trump’s holiday decorations during her husband’s first term.

“Melania Trump’s return as First Lady is just as big as Trump’s return,” X user @BehizyTweets wrote. “The White House is going to look beautiful & glamorous again.”

Jill Biden’s taste has been called into question routinely during her tenure in the White House.

Last year, the first lady—who launched her career as the nanny to the Biden children and later worked as a reading specialist on a psychiatric ward—unleashed a “Nutcracker” tribute that drew comparisons to a bad acid trip.

She also heaped praise on the widely panned—and controversial—Olympic opening ceremony, which embraced a similarly surrealist aesthetic with traces of Satanic ritual interspersed throughout.

The End of Fake News? MSNBC Hits New Low in Ratings

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The leftist “news” channel MSNBC is facing a ratings crisis, with some of its advertiser-coveted viewership dropping to a two-decade low, according to Nielsen data reviewed by Fox News.

During the week of Nov. 6, MSNBC averaged just 38,000 viewers among adults 25-54, its lowest-rated non-holiday weekday since July 19, 2004.

As reported by Fox News, this demographic is widely prized by advertisers and is crucial for network revenue.

Low viewership impacted shows like The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle and Jose Diaz Balart Reports, both of which saw their smallest audiences ever.

Other shows—including Chris Jansing Reports, Deadline: White House and Katy Tur Reports—saw their worst days ever among the demos.

Several shows lost over 50% of their 25-54 audience. Among those shows are The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle, All In with Chris Hayes, Chris Jansing Reports, Inside with Jen Psaki, The Rachel Maddow Show and Joy Reid’s ReidOut.

This slump couldn’t have come at a worse time, as MSNBC’s parent company, Comcast, announced cuts to cable channels, excluding NBC News and Bravo TV. CNN reports that MSNBC will be moved into “SpinCo,” a publicly traded cable programming company.

Tech mogul Elon Musk has hinted at purchasing MSNBC, while journalist Jack Posobiec says he’s recruiting investors to take control of the left-wing network.

Podcast host Joe Rogan joked about replacing Rachel Maddow if Musk buys MSNBC: “I will wear the same outfit and glasses, and I will tell the same lies.”

Along with viewership and Comcast scandals, MSNBC is under the scrutiny of its viewers after Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski met with Donald Trump, despite having previously compared him to dictators.

Al Sharpton faces ethical scrutiny after his nonprofit quietly took a $500,000 donation from the Harris campaign ahead of his interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.

MSNBC conceded that Sharpton blindsided them with the donation. “MSNBC was unaware of the donations made to the National Action Network,” an MSNBC spokesperson told the Washington Free Beacon.

Dan Goldman Forced to Eat Words After Biden Pardons Son, Despite Reassurances

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., had to face his own incorrect assurances that outgoing President Joe Biden wouldn’t pardon his convicted son, Hunter Biden, during a brutal interview on CNN.

Host Brianna Keilar pressed Goldman on his past statements, where he insisted there was “no chance” Biden would use his executive power to shield Hunter—and himself by extension—from criminal convictions.

“What does that feel like watching yourself back then reassuring people that Biden was not going to issue a pardon for his son?” Keilar asked Goldman, as reported first by the Daily Caller and the Media Research Center.

In response, Goldman said, “I think that if that plea agreement and that plea deal had gone through there would be no pardon. That was a satisfactory outcome.”

To her credit, Keilar pushed back, questioning Goldman on Biden’s reversal: “I hear what you‘re saying about the Kash Patel appointment, but you know you took him at his word so what does that feel like, knowing that he’s gone back on it?”

Like clockwork, Goldman attempted to defend the decision by regurgitating Democratic talking points. No evidence backs up this claim. In contrast, reports suggest prosecutors allowed the statute of limitations to expire on certain offenses.

In a long and lie-ridden response, Goldman said, “Well, as I said, I’m disappointed that after the plea fell through and it became clear about why it did, including Republican congressional intervention in this case, which made this case very unique and very different from any other case … I think I should have as well recognized that this is not the normal prosecution.”

He continued “I said many times that if Hunter Biden were not Hunter Biden, he would never be charged with these crimes and when you start to see what Donald Trump is planning to do with his Department of Justice and with his FBI … I certainly understand why the president felt like this miscarriage of justice should not carry forward, and that he should not be at risk of retributive prosecution for political reasons, which is not the proper way to execute our rule of law.”

Keilar’s line of questioning follows months of false claims from leftist media outlets, including CNN, suggesting that Biden was too principled to pardon his son, as evident in a supercut compiled by journalist Tom Elliot.

Goldman’s defense stood in stark contrast to remarks from his Democratic colleagues, who scolded Biden for issuing a broad pardon to his embattled son. Hunter faced several years in federal prison for false statements in a federal gun purchase form and for failing to pay millions in taxes.

“I’m disappointed this was the decision that he landed on here,” Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., as reported by The New York Times. “He promised he would not do this. I think it will make it harder for us going forward when we talk about upholding democracy.”

Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Wash., echoed Crow’s concerns on X: “President Biden’s pardon of his son confirms a common belief I hear in Southwest Washington: that well-connected people are often gifted special treatment by a two-tier justice system.”

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, a Democrat, chimed in with similar arguments.

Biden Buys Anti-Israel Book on Black Friday

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Joe Biden was recently noticed exiting a bookshop on Black Friday and carrying a copy of a book by a Jew hater who heavily criticized Israel and praised Palestinians.

The New York Post reported that Biden left Nantucket Bookworks in Massachusets holding a copy of The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine: A History of Settler Colonial Conquest and Resistance, 1917-2017 by Columbia University professor emeritus Rashid Khalidi.

According to the news source, Khalidi claimed that “the modern history of Palestine can best be understood in these terms: as a colonial war waged against the indigenous population, by a variety of parties, to force them to relinquish their homeland to another people against their will.”

Khalidi also criticized President-elect Donald Trump, stating that his first administration was a “mouthpiece” for Israel. He previously criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for leading “the most extreme government” in his country’s history.

Additionally, Khalidi claimed that Jews are indoctrinated to support Israel and that once the generation that knew the Holocaust dies out, people will no longer support the Jewish state.

He also responded to the recent news of Biden buying the book, stating it is too late.

“I do not speak to the Post (or the Times for that matter), so this is not for publication, but my reaction is that this is 4 years too late,” he told the Post.

People on Twitter quickly responded to the recent news, criticizing Biden’s anti-Semitism.

“Rashid Khalidi and his propaganda screed, The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine, is responsible for so much of the anti-Israel rot that has infected academia and the Western left. To claim that Biden is a friend of Israel is a disgusting insult,” @ShelleyGldschmt wrote.

The person then published another post, explaining the situation even more, stating once again that Biden is not Israel’s friend.

“Biden is not innocently showcasing a book he randomly came upon in a store. This is the US president displaying to the world that, of the infinite number of books available, he endorses the manifesto of the anti-Israel movement in the West,” the person wrote.

However, others noted that showing off his recent purchase was not Biden’s idea, claiming that former president Barack Obama was responsible.

“Biden doesn’t read books. Being photographed with a topical book before announcing a new policy is the sort of stunt that Obama used to pull. The Obama people are now fully in charge and signaling that they’re preparing to go after Israel,” journalist Daniel Greenfield wrote.

George Clooney Blames Obama for ’Seducing’ Him to Remove Biden

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was recently reported that leftist Hollywood actor George Clooney recently blamed former president Barack Obama for telling him to participate in removing Joe Biden and replacing him with former presidential nominee Kamala Harris, who eventually lost the election to now-President-elect Donald Trump.

“George is furious with Obama for disappearing after the election disaster and leaving him holding the bag for pushing the plan with his Hollywood pals,” an anonymous insider told the Radar.

Conservatives on Twitter quickly responded to the recent news, mocking Clooney for participating in politics by listening to Obama.

“Silly boy. Everyone gets burned around Teflon Barry,” conservative journalist Miranda Devine wrote.

Tammy Bruce of Fox News also claimed that “they all deserve each other.”

Independent journalist Kyle Becker also claimed that “this may be one of the funniest stories [he has] ever seen.”

“If I had a dollar for everyone manipulated by Barack Obama, I could afford an Obamacare deductible,” @GDebatta wrote.

Other conservatives on Twitter also mocked Clooney for participating in politics.

“Get the h-ll out of here. This clown literally throws fundraisers for every Democratic candidate every election cycle. Cry harder, Clooney. You’re a loser,” @SweetTexanRose wrote.

Even people in the United Kingdom made fun of Clooney, calling him a “waterboy” for Obama.

“So, George is admitting that he is a stupid ‘political water boy’ who does not have the brain power to know when he’s getting played? Georgie boy should move to England and help Degeneres bail out her basement. Nobody friggin’ cares,” @01Funkytown wrote.

The recent news came after Clooney published an op-ed in the New York Times claiming that Biden should leave the presidential race and allow another Democrat to replace him.

Clooney also wanted to become a politician. However, these aspirations were crashed after many Democrats started blaming Clooney for Harris’s defeat and Trump’s victory. Soon after that, Clooney stated that he would abandon politics.

Trump Effect? Apple Creates Pro-Family Ad

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Infamously far-left Apple recently released a conservative, pro-family Christmas ad, possibly realizing that pushing its leftist ideology after Donald Trump was elected probably would not be a good idea.

The ad shows a father looking at his daughter on a Christmas morning, unwrapping her presents while unable to hear her because of his hearing issues.

While watching her, the father remembered the times when she was still a little girl until his wife told him to put on his Air Pods, which have a hearing aid function, so that he could listen to his daughter play on her new guitar.

“I’m so proud of the many teams across Apple developing powerful technologies that are improving people’s lives. The Hearing Aid feature on AirPods Pro 2 uses your personalized sound profile so you can hear the moments that matter,” Apple CEO Tim Cook wrote.

Conservatives on Twitter responded to the recent ad positively, noting that it lacked any leftist virtue signaling.

“I’m stunned. Apple just released the single greatest pro-parenting ad in the history of American advertising. The pro-family cultural revolution is here. Watch. Try not to cry,” conservative commentator Benny Johnson wrote.

Another conservative personality Allie Beth Stuckey admitted that she was not able not to cry while watching the commercial.

Independent journalist Kyle Becker also pointed out that these kinds of ads were very common during the 1990s.

“It’s funny how we get so shocked by just a normal American commercial. The left ruins everything it touches,” @ScottSmialkowsk wrote.

Managing Editor of Babylon Bee Joel Berry agreed that people are celebrating the ad only because they got used to the companies pushing the far-lerft ideology in their ads.

“We’ve been assaulted by aggressive degenerate weirdness from these soulless corporations for so long, them doing just one little thing that remotely reflects the beauty of normal life seems like cause for celebration,” he wrote.

The recent news came after Jaguar released its woke ad with no cars in it. Volvo also released the ad, but avoided wokeness, for which the company were praised by conservatives.

Police Arrest Dem. Staffer Trying to Stockpile Ammo in Congressional Building

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Democrats are at it again with another scandal in Congress, this time involving a staff member busted with ammunition on Monday.

Michael Hopkins, the 38-year-old communications director for Rep. Joe Morelle, was arrested after U.S. Capitol Police found multiple rounds of ammunition in his bags. Morelle, a Democrat, represents New York’s 25th Congressional District.

“USCP officers noticed what appeared to be ammunition on the x-ray screen,” USCP said in a press statement. “After a hand search of the bag, officers found four ammunition magazines and eleven rounds of ammunition.”

After being caught, Hopkins claimed he had forgotten the ammunition was in his bag. It isn’t immediately clear why he had the ammunition in the first place. He now faces charges of unlawful possession of ammunition, including one count of possessing a high-capacity magazine.

“This morning, our office was informed that a member of our staff was arrested by Capitol Police,” Morelle’s chief of staff, Joe Stiles, claimed in a statement. Stiles said the man was no longer working with Morelle “effective immediately.”

Hopkins was hired this fall and via LinkedIn claimed to be a founding partner at Northern Starr Strategies.

This marks the second time a congressional staffer has been caught with a weapon, according to Roll Call.

In 2021, an aide in the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer entered the Capitol with a loaded handgun, triggering a building-wide lockdown. He was apprehended 12 minutes later.

Similarly, the latest incident comes nearly a year after a male staffer for Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md., engaged in anal intercourse in a Senate hearing room, as first reported by the Daily Caller.

The staffer, Aidan Maese-Czeropski, reportedly shared the clip on social media, where it quickly spread through D.C. group chats. The disturbing clip went viral, garnering millions of views on X.

USCP and local prosecutors refused to prosecute the staffer, claiming they found no evidence of a crime, despite the act being recorded on video.

“After consulting with federal and local prosecutors, as well as doing a comprehensive investigation and review of possible charges, it was determined that — despite a likely violation of Congressional policy — there is currently no evidence that a crime was committed,” USCP claimed.

Police claimed that the male staffer and his sexual partner “were not cooperative” and that the elements of “any of the possible crimes” were not met.

“The Congressional staffer, who has since resigned from his job, exercised his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and refused to talk to us,” USCP said at the time, according to NBC News. “Our investigators are willing to review new evidence should any come to light.”

These incidents stand in stark contrast with Democrats’ false promises to restore “decency” to government after President Donald Trump’s first term.

Karine Jean-Pierre Refuses to Say Why She and Biden Lied About Hunter’s Pardon

(Headline USA) White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to say on Monday why she and President Joe Biden repeatedly lied to the American public about the president’s intention to pardon his son, Hunter Biden.

Jean-Pierre took questions from the press on Air Force One less than 24 hours after President Joe Biden announced he was issuing a sweeping pardon for Hunter Biden that absolves the First Son of all alleged crimes committed since 2014.

The pardon came despite numerous assurances from Jean-Pierre and the White House that Biden would not pardon Hunter Biden after he was convicted for tax and gun crimes.

“You have said repeatedly yourself since the election, and the president has said for months, no pardon was coming,” one reporter said Jean-Pierre. “I wanted to ask you, could those statements now be seen as lies to the American people?”

The press secretary refused to answer directly, instead insisting that Biden “always believes” he should be “truthful to the American people.”

Jean-Pierre then suggested that Biden changed his mind on pardoning Hunter Biden.

“If you look at the end of his statement, and he actually says that in the first line of the last paragraph. He lays out how he came to this decision,” Jean-Pierre continued. “He came to this decision this weekend, so let’s be very clear about that.”

She added Joe Biden struggled with making the decision.

“And he said he wrestled with this, because he believes in the justice system but he also believes that the war of politics infected the process and led to a miscarriage of justice,” she said.

Notably, Jean-Pierre didn’t shoot down the idea of further pardons before Joe Biden leaves office next month, noting the president is “thinking through that process very thoroughly.”

“There’s a process in place, obviously,” she told reporters. “And so, I’m not going to get ahead of the president on this, but you could expect more announcements, more pardons, clemency at the end of this term.”

One possible pardon that could come is for James Biden, Joe Biden’s brother, who also has been implicated in the Biden family influence peddling scheme.

Bernie Sanders Voices Support for Elon Musk, DOGE

(Headline USA) Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., offered his support this week to tech billionaire Elon Musk and President-elect Donald Trump on their planned new Department of Government Efficiency, arguing government defense spending in particular is in need of reform.

“Elon Musk is right. The Pentagon, with a budget of $886 billion, just failed its 7th audit in a row. It’s lost track of billions,” Sanders wrote on X. “Last year, only 13 senators voted against the Military Industrial Complex and a defense budget full of waste and fraud. That must change.”

Trump announced last month that Musk and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will be co-leading DOGE, which will work with the executive branch to identify ways to cut back the bureaucracy.

Though Musk and Ramaswamy have not unveiled their plan to address the Defense Department’s bloated spending, a recent report proves it will need to be on the agenda.

According to the Pentagon’s chief financial officer, Mike McCord, the Defense Department failed its seventh independent audit in a row and cannot account for how it spent the $824.3 billion it received in government funding for the 2024 fiscal year.

McCord claimed no significant fraud was uncovered, but admitted a clean audit likely will not be possible for several more years.

Sanders isn’t the only Democrat who took issue with this.

“When it comes to cutting waste, fraud, and abuse and opening the 5 primes to more competition, there are Democrats on [the House Armed Services Committee] who will work with @elonmusk and @DOGE,” progressive Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., wrote on X last week.

Rep. Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla., also urged Musk and Ramaswamy to take a harder look at the Department of Homeland Security.

“The Dept. of Homeland Security is very necessary but has simply gotten too big & is a bureaucratic mess,” Moskowitz wrote on X. “It’s time to break up parts of DHS. Let’s start by removing @SecretService and @fema & have them report directly to WH.”
