Judge Explodes After Backlash Over Rushed J6 Sentencing Despite Trump Pardons

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A federal judge overseeing the Biden administration’s prosecution of a Jan. 6 protestor threw a hissy fit on Wednesday after the defense called out his inexplicable haste to sentence a man before President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.

U.S. District Court Judge Randolph Daniel Moss, an appointee of President Obama, became agitated when appellate attorney Brent Mayr criticized the rush to sentence his client, Brady Knowlton.

Moss pressed Mayr about a previously filed motion, where Mayr questioned why Moss was moving to sentence Knowlton when the prosecution had agreed to postpone the sentencing until February.

“There is a sentence where you say, even though the final bell has rung, meaning that President Trump has been elected president and that he has indicated he is going to issue pardons to at least some of the January 6 defendants, Mr. Brady has retreated, the Court is allowing the government to go over him and get one final punch in before the fight is called,” Moss said, according to court transcripts shared on X by journalist Julie Kelly.

“That both suggests that I am somehow complicit in the mistreatment of Mr. Knowlton and the government is engaged in mistreatment of Mr. Knowlton, because somehow the public has spoken through the reelection or through the election of President Trump. … And I think that is mistaking law for politics,” Moss added.

Mayr clarified that his previous comments were based on the court’s decision to reject an agreed-upon delay for Knowlton’s sentencing.

Knowlton was found guilty of felony charges for allegedly obstructing the certification of the 2020 election, which the Biden administration considers a felony offense.

Additionally, he was found guilty of entering the U.S. Capitol, which the government has classified as a misdemeanor.

Trump has indicated he may pardon nearly all individuals charged in connection with the events of Jan. 6.

Despite this, Moss expressed his indifference, stating, “I don’t want people delaying it for the purposes of taking advantage of what may happen in the future.”

He elaborated further: “I will tell you, I have never seen more motions for extensions of time than I have over the past two months in the January 6 cases. … And, indeed, a pardon doesn’t mean you didn’t commit the offense. Typically people are pardoned when they have committed offenses.”

So far, President Joe Biden’s DOJ has prosecuted at least 1,572 individuals, including some who merely stepped foot inside the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Lawmaker Barred from Office Over Election Law Breach, Handing GOP Majority

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A Minnesota judge has disqualified a Democratic lawmaker from being sworn in, paving the way for Republicans to break the 67-67 tie in the state House of Representatives, MPR News reported.

On Friday, Ramsey County District Judge Leonardo Castro barred Minnesota Rep.-elect Curtis Johnson, a Democrat, from taking the oath of office in January after determining that he did not comply with state residency requirements.

The ruling stated that Johnson did not reside in the Roseville area district that he intended to represent in the state legislature. The Minnesota Constitution requires candidates to live in the district they wish to represent for at least one year before the election.

“The credibility of Mr. Johnson’s testimony about his physical presence in the apartment was significantly undermined by his demeanor, the photos and videos presented by the contestant and his own reluctance to commit to any more than minimal, vague amounts of time spent at the apartment,” Castro wrote.

In response, Johnson urged the Minnesota Supreme Court to overturn the order, arguing that the challenge was brought too late. The high court indicated that it would wait for Castro’s final ruling on Johnson’s eligibility to hold public office.

A special election will be called after the House convenes on Jan. 14 if the high court uploads Johnson’s disqualification. This would narrowly give Republicans a one-vote majority.

House Republican Leader Lisa Demuth praised the court’s decision in a statement to MPR: “I applaud the court’s decision to grant the election contest and look forward to ensuring that a valid candidate represents District 40B during the upcoming legislative session.”

She added, “This is a clear reminder that laws matter, and integrity in the election process is non-negotiable.”

In contrast, Democratic House Speaker Melissa Hortman criticized the court’s decision in a statement

“The court erred as a matter of law in not dismissing this case,” she said. “A residency issue must be resolved before an election and is not an appropriate basis for an election contest.”

We Are So Back: Trump Demands NATO Free-Riders Boost Contributions to 5%

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President-elect Donald Trump’s team has informed members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) that they must increase their military spending to at least 5% of their GDP.

This proposed increase, first reported by The Telegraph and the Financial Times, would more than double current spending levels, signaling to member states that the era of “freeloading” is over.

According to reports, a European official indicated that Trump might be willing to accept a 3.5% increase instead.

The new spending levels would need to be achieved by June when NATO has scheduled a meeting in The Hague.

This plan follows a meeting between NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Trump at Mar-a-Lago on Nov. 22, weeks after his landslide presidential victory in the 2024 presidential election.

“When President-elect Trump takes office again on January 20, he will be welcomed by a stronger, larger, and more united Alliance,” Rutte stated in a press statement before their meeting.

“Two-thirds of Allies now spend at least 2% of their GDP on defence, and defence spending and production are on an upward trajectory across the Alliance,” Rutte added. “We must continue these efforts in order to preserve peace and prosperity across North America and Europe.”

Reports noted that only 23 of the 32 NATO members currently meet the spending target of 2% of their total GDP, leading many to believe these countries rely heavily on the U.S. for security.

Trump has previously suggested that if elected, he would order an increase in U.S. military spending as well.

In 2018, while serving as president, Trump criticized NATO allies for not meeting the 2014-agreed goal of spending 2% of their GDP on defense.

“Prior to last year, where I attended my first meeting, it was going down — the amount of money being spent by countries was going down and down very substantially,” Trump said during a NATO meeting in Belgium. “And now, it’s going up very substantially. And commitments were made. Only 5 of 29 countries were making their commitment. And that’s now changed. The commitment was at 2 percent. Ultimately, that’ll be going up quite a bit higher than that.”

‘This is Her Home’: Search for Missing GOP Rep Ends in Dementia Facility

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) The search for missing Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, ended in the memory care unit at an assisted living facility in late December.

Tarrant County residents speculated that Granger’s six-month-long absence was the result of the 81-year-old congresswoman’s cognitive decline. One outraged Texan said on Thursday that Granger was placed in a memory care facility and that her taxpayer-funded salary should be cut off.

“I’m hearing she’s in a memory care unit.  Can’t confirm details yet.  We need to have standards (something like) Representatives who miss 3 votes in a row without announcing a legitimate medical reason should have their salaries and benefits frozen.  This has to stop!” X user @TXfairfighter wrote to one man who asked, “Where’s Kay?”

Granger’s last vote was cast on July 24, according to her roll call vote page. The Dallas Express found no success attempting to reach Granger’s district and D.C. offices on the phone, so the Texas news outlet’s team took their investigation directly to the source.

Upon visiting her district office, The Dallas Express learned the congresswoman, who is retiring and did not seek reelection in the recent cycle, had the place shut down as if she already abandoned her job as a public servant.

A constituent told The Dallas Express that Granger was locked in a memory facility after she was caught “lost and confused” in her neighborhood. Reporters from the outlet traced down and visited the facility under the guise of requesting an interview on the recent federal spending bill, but they were blocked from seeing the congresswoman.

“This is her home,” Taylor Manziel, an assistant executive director of the senior living facility, told The Dallas Express.

Tarrant County Republican Chairman Bo French raised alarm over Granger leaving her constituents without representation in Congress, according to the outlet.

“The lack of representation for CD-12 is troubling to say the least. At a time when extraordinarily important votes are happening, including debt ceiling, disaster relief, farm bills and border issues, Kay Granger is nowhere to be found. The margin in Congress is razor thin and the lack of a Republican vote representing CD-12 disenfranchises 2 million people. We deserve better,” French said.

Tucker Carlson Breaks Down How Trump ‘Shattered’ the Notion Americans Are ‘Medieval Freaks’

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Political commentator Tucker Carlson broke down how President-elect Donald Trump “shattered” the notion that normal Americans are “medieval freaks” Thursday in his America Fest Conference speech.

Speaking on the first day of the annual Turning Point USA event, Carlson told an audience in Phoenix, Arizona that he has not met a single hostile person in the U.S. since Trump’s victory. The former Fox News host noted that most people previously under the influence that their Make America Great Again views were social unacceptable were noticeably happier since voters rejected Vice President Kamala Harris.

“What really happened was the spell was shattered,” Carlson said.

Carlson explained that establishment elites managed to convince normal Americans that they were alone in their conservative politics. He said the spell was “fake” and that the overwhelmingly Republican election results revealed this fact.

“The spell was that the tiny group of people running the country to their own benefit represented the rest of the world. That everyone agrees with all the dumb pieties they were screaming at you,” Carlson said.

Carlson continued by adding how powerful leftists made Republican voters feel isolated because of their normalcy.

“That all the good people were on the other side and that you were somehow alone, trapped in your house thinking freaky far-right things that you should be embarrassed of and all the truly decent, moral, progressive, open-minded people were on the other side laughing at you and that you were some kind of medieval freak,” he said.

Carlson pointed to Trump’s historic gains with young, Hispanic, southeast Michigan Muslim, Orthodox Jew and Democrat stronghold voters. The Republican president-elect won the popular vote and the Electoral College with GOP majorities in both chambers of Congress.

“So, people who had everything to be ashamed of diverted attention from their own failures by screaming at you about your moral inferiority,” Carlson said, admitting that many Republican voters “bought it” — including himself at one point.

He called out leftists for pushing the belief that men are women, saying politicians who support transgender logic should not be in charge of important matters like foreign policy or energy policy.

“You can’t even change the tire on your Volvo!” Carlson exclaimed. “You’re useless and dumb and a compassionate society would not let you starve to death, but you’re not allowed to run everything.”

Steve Bannon Warns UnitedHealthcare CEO Assassination Signifies Future ‘French Revolution’ for America

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) War Room host Steve Bannon warned Friday that the UnitedHealthcare CEO’s murder signifies a potential “French Revolution” for America if President-elect Donald Trump’s administration does not usher in needed change.

On The Megyn Kelly Show, Bannon told the titular host that the country needs an economic reorganization in order to address issues like rampant inflation.

“You saw this in the assassination on the street. They shot a guy in the back, some rich kid shot a guy in the back,” Bannon said, referencing the Dec. 4 assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan.

Thompson was allegedly gunned down by 26-year-old Luigi Mangione, who reportedly planned to kill the UnitedHealthcare CEO over his grievances with insurance companies.

The War Room host mentioned the environment children are in online in light of the shooting. After he took Thompson’s life, Mangione became an idol among leftists on the Internet who praised his alleged act of violence as heroic, made jokes about the UnitedHealthcare CEO’s death and raised money for the alleged killer.

“We have two choices in this country. We need to go down this MAGA revolution. This populist, nationalist revolution. That’s peaceful, that’s now getting more and more people involved in. More and more ethnicities, more color, more races and more economic groups, the working class, middle class. Or you’re gonna have a French Revolution,” Bannon told Kelly.

Bannon said he could potentially see such a violent uprising coming because of the public’s reaction to political acts of violence. New Yorkers held a UnitedHealthcare CEO shooter look-a-like contest the Friday after Thompson was murdered and online users continue to lust after Mangione’s appearance and cause.

Trump evaded death when he was shot in the ear at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania in July. Most recently, weeks after the UnitedHealthcare CEO was killed, a would-be assassin was caught on camera knocking on controversial Internet personality Nick Fuentes’s door after allegedly committing a triple homicide.

“You can see, particularly from them, the cold-blooded assassination. So, the stakes couldn’t be higher. And that’s why this Christmas I hope everybody steps back and really thinks where we’re going with the direction of this country,” Bannon said.

Dem Rep Shouts Down ‘A**hole’ Photographer Amid Dementia Concerns

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Rep. David Scott, D-Ga., reportedly shouted down an “a**hole” photographer outside the Capitol building Wednesday amid rising concerns about the 79-year-old’s cognitive decline.

Scott lashed out at Politico photographer Francis Chung with profanity as a staffer pushed his wheelchair into the building, Punchbowl News reported.

“Who gave you the right to take my picture, a**hole?” the septuagenarian reportedly yelled as his photo was snapped by Politico.

Scott’s spokesperson later doubled down on the elderly Democrat’s agitated comments, according to the New York Post. The Georgia congressman’s mouthpiece chided Chung, saying he should not be “tak[ing] a picture[s] of us as we’re trying to get into the Capitol” going forward.

The Politico photographer was also warned that he would soon feel the wrath of Scott as his handlers would be in contact with his editor, the outlet reported.

“I’m going to ask you very nicely to not do that,” the eleven-term representative’s team added. “We will be reaching out to your editor, whoever it is we have to reach out to.”

Scott frequently reads from a script and has “trouble” speaking on policy specifics, sources on Capitol Hill told Politico of the House Agriculture Committee chairman in late 2023 and early 2024. The declining Democrat has headed the committee since Jan. 2021.

One Democrat lawmaker told Punchbowl News in September that several members of Scott’s caucus do not believe he has the mental fitness to lead.

“I haven’t met a member who isn’t concerned,” a Democrat congressman said under condition of anonymity. “There was a lot of frustration heading into the markup. We needed to have a comms strategy and a legislative strategy, but it took us a long time to get that organized.”

Although he is a ranking member, Scott has notoriously left Agriculture Committee meetings early, the New York Post reported. One Democrat lawmaker told Politico that every person on the committee wants to replace the 79-year-old.

“David Scott is Exhibit A for term limits,” the Democrat lawmaker said. “He was a respected, talented member who has become diminished. And it’s painful for people to watch.”

Netflix Faces Backlash for ‘Woke’ WWII Movie on Black Mailwomen

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Streaming media company Netflix came under fire Friday after releasing the trailer for The Six Triple Eight, a film some have labeled another “woke” project, this time targeting World War II.

The movie focuses on the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, a unit of predominantly black women deployed overseas in the mid-1940s to help the U.S. military sort through a backlog of mail for servicemen on the frontlines.

According to the non-profit Women of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, after being sent to Le Havre, France, the battalion worked through thousands of letters before returning to New York on March 8, 1945.

The trailer, released on Nov. 25, drew mixed reactions on X, with some prominent conservative figures questioning its dramatic portrayal of the 6888th Battalion as overly heroic.

One banner in the trailer reads, “They made history” and “Faced with the impossible,” seemingly suggesting a life-or-death scenario.

Some critics pointed out that the battalion’s work, while important and honorable, merely involved sorting delayed mail to increase morale among troops who had been waiting months for letters from their loved ones.

“Black girlbosses fighting for equity are the real superheroes of World War II – Netflix,” mocked the X account End Wokeness on Friday.

“These Netflix producers definitely thought Kamala would win,” wrote journalist Kyle Becker.

Another user added, “I kid you not, Netflix literally made a movie about women sorting mail in the UK for three months in 1945.”

X personality “Oilfield Rando” quipped, “Netflix got us the best Christmas present ever. Imagine the memes that are going to come from this dumpster fire. Glorious.”

The trailer also features a controversial line from actress Kerry Washington: “Unlike some other folks here, we have the most to prove.”

Approximately 405,399 U.S. soldiers died during World War II while they heroically fought the Axis Powers, including Nazi Germany. This prompted some to question why Netflix emphasized the work of a support unit rather than the sacrifices of combat troops.

Woman Arrested After Attempting to Register Dead People in Trump-Won Pa.

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A woman was arrested for allegedly trying to register several deceased individuals to vote in the 2024 presidential election, according to Jack Stollsteimer, the Democratic district attorney of Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Hill, a 38-year-old canvasser for the leftist group New Pennsylvania Project, allegedly attempted to register four people, including her deceased father and a person who died in her home, to vote in Pennsylvania.

Stollsteimer reported that the fraudulent registrations were submitted through an online app funded by the Pennsylvania Department of State.

Between April and September 2024, Hill attempted to register 310 people, of which only 129 registrations were approved.

According to Stollsteimer, Hill used multiple variations of names along with different addresses and email addresses to try to register several individuals.

The woman was arrested and arraigned on Thursday, approximately a month before President-elect Donald Trump is set to be sworn in as the 47th commander-in-chief.

The arrest comes as Democrats affirmed that voter fraud is extremely rare. They sought to tarnish Trump’s 2024 bid by regurgitating what they claimed were false statements about the sanctity of the 2020 race.

In addition to her father, Hill submitted registration applications for her grandmother, an unidentified individual and another person who had died in her home in 2011.

“She knows that because she was the person who called the police to come when he died in her house,” Stollsteimer stated during a press conference, according to Philadelphia’s NBC10.

Hill successfully registered one of the four individuals through the online application. Stollsteimer stated, “She did register a fraudulent person and my understanding is this is sort of a gap in the system where by putting in no date of birth and no social security number, it goes through and became a verified voter registration.”

According to the district attorney, Hill did not “take any further step,” meaning she did not vote on behalf of that individual in the 2024 election. “But that shows you how we still have gaps in our system that we need to have the legislature address,” he added.

Stollsteimer mentioned that this is an ongoing investigation: “We don’t know from the other 129 that were non-verifiable, how many of those were made up names.”

He urged the state government to “look at all of the ones that were submitted by this individual,” and also called on a state investigation into the non-profit’s voter registrations.

“It could be just one bad canvasser, but they should take a look and make sure that all of those people are legitimate registrations,” Stollsteimer said.

The New Pennsylvania Project, where Hill works, did not respond to Headline USA’s request for comment, which was sent after business hours on Friday evening.

The leftist organization told NBC10 Hill has been suspended pending an internal investigation: “Immediately upon being notified of the potential issues, we suspended the staff member pending investigation. An internal investigation was launched, and the organization paused our voter registration programs in several regions pending the outcome of our investigation.”

The nonprofit claims to defend “voting rights,” stating on its website: “The New Pennsylvania Project believes we must defend our voting rights from those who wish to erode the public’s trust in our free and fair elections. Let’s work to not only expand the electorate but also make it easier for folks to gain access to the ballot, eliminate voter suppression, and combat election and voter disinformation.”

In 2021, the non-profit rebuked voter ID laws in a December 2021 tweet, claiming: “The GOP says voter ID will increase trust in elections, but RESEARCHERS say otherwise. ‘There’s been no proof of any outrageous types of fraud that’s occurred to this.’ – adds NPP’s @kadidakenner. Yeah, we’re with the experts on this one.”

U.S. Leftists Continue Allowing Chinese Commies’ Infiltration

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) American leftists in politics and academia once again recently allowed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to infiltrate the United States even more than they already did.

The Daily Caller News Foundation recently revealed that the U.S. government agencies have awarded sensitive scientific, military and energy grants to dozens of researchers who worked with the Chinese communist government.

The news source identified 50 federally funded researchers in U.S. universities and/or national laboratories who were also listed as experts in Chinese government talent recruitment schemes, such as the Thousand Talents Plan (TTP) and the Chang Jiang Scholars program.

The Daily Caller found the information after reviewing the talent plans’ websites, Chinese government documents, university profiles and state-run media reports.

The FBI reported that the CCP has created hundreds of “talent recruitment plans,” incentivizing participants to “steal foreign technologies needed to advance China’s national, military, and economic goals.”

“We are playing Russian roulette with national security, funding research and infrastructure that could ultimately bolster the [People’s Liberation Army],” L.J. Eads, a former U.S. Air Force intelligence analyst, told the Caller.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., also expressed her concern regarding the CCP infiltration, telling the Caller that China will “lie, cheat and steal to achieve its goal of global domination.”

“Any allegation of taxpayer-funded researchers sharing information with Beijing must be fully investigated,” she said.

The Caller also recently reported that the University of Delaware reached a settlement agreement with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) after allegedly violating federal law by failing to disclose one of its professors’ ties to CCP.

These were not the only cases in which the Chinese government tried to infiltrate the U.S. On Wednesday, a 60-year-old Manhattan resident, Chen Jinping, pleaded guilty to helping establish a secret police station in New York City on behalf of the Chinese government.

The CCP also implemented a spy program that was created to target American politicians, used its hackers to target the phones of President-elect Donald Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, and bought American land.
