JD Vance Obliterates CBS News’s Partisan Agenda in a Must-Watch Interview 

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Vice President JD Vance outmaneuvered CBS News host Margaret Brennan on Sunday, effortlessly dismantling her failed gotcha questions during his interview since taking office. 

Known for his no-nonsense style, Vance left Brennan struggling to defend her questions on illegal immigration, the intake of so-called refugees and food costs. 

While the interview took place on the latest episode of Face the Nation, it gained the most attention on X.

The most viewed moments came when Vance called out the flaws in Biden-era “refugee” vetting policies.

“Now that we know that we have vetting problems with the refugee programs, we cannot unleash thousands of unvetted people into our country,” Vance said, defending President Donald Trump’s decision to pause the intake of foreign refugees. 

“These people are vetted. These people were vetted,” Brennan interjected. 

“Just like the guy who planned a terrorist attack in Oklahoma a few months ago?” Vance shot back. “He was allegedly properly vetted and many people in the media and Democratic Party said he was properly vetted. Clearly, he wasn’t.” 

In another exchange about immigration, Brennan made a misleading claim about the United States being founded by immigrants.  

In response, Vance bluntly said, “This is a very unique country and it was founded by some immigrants and some settlers—but just because we were founded by immigrants doesn’t mean that 240 years later that we have to have the dumbest immigration policy in the world.”

Vance also fired back at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for condemning Trump’s order allowing immigration authorities to enter churches and schools to remove dangerous illegal aliens. 

“I think that the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops needs to actually look in the mirror a little bit and recognize that when they receive over $100 million to help resettle illegal immigrants,” Vance said. “Are they worried about humanitarian concerns? Or are they actually worried about their bottom line?”

He continued: “If they’re worried about the humanitarian costs of immigration enforcement, let them talk about the children who have been sex trafficked because of the wide open border of Joe Biden.”

Addressing Brennan’s questions about grocery prices, Vance remarked, “How does bacon get to the grocery store? It comes on trucks that are fueled by diesel fuel. If the diesel is way too expensive, the bacon is going to become more expensive … If we lower energy prices, we are going to see lower prices for consumers.”

Dem Rep Reaches New Level of ‘Stupid’ as He Blames Trump for Egg Prices

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries reached what some on social media called a new “level of stupid” Friday as he blamed President Donald Trump for the inflated price of eggs.

The Democrat representative, who various X users branded as “Temu Obama,” did himself a disservice by taking aim at Trump over the cost-of-living crisis.

“Wait. The price of eggs and the cost of living was supposed to go down. Not up,” Jeffries wrote in a jab at the Republican president, who had only been in office for four days at his time of posting.

In a blitz of executive actions signed within his first 24 hours, Trump ordered the heads of all executive agencies to “deliver emergency price relief, consistent with applicable law, to the American people and increase prosperity of the American worker.”

Under the Biden administration, inflation peaked at 9.1% in June 2022, according to the consumer price index (CPI). The Democrats wreaked havoc on the average American’s checkbook as the price of food and household goods surged in a far cry from Trump’s first term, which ended in Jan. 2021 with a 1.4% inflation rate.

Jeffries did not make posts concerned with the price of eggs during the Biden administration, X user @amattattack pointed out, saying the Democrat leader “didn’t care” until he could criticize Trump.

Another social media user suggested that the “it’s @realDonaldTrump’s fault memo” went out that week, sharing a screenshot of progressive Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., complaining about the cost of eggs under the not-even-one-week-old president.

“The people that created the crisis are complaining that Trump hasn’t fixed it in his first week,” a recurring meme showing The Office character Jim Halpert pointing to those words on a poster said.

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) Amid the tsunami of good that Donald J. Trump has unleashed since returning to the presidency, one wave deserves sustained applause.

As I suggested last September, Trump revoked the security clearances of the 51 intelligence operatives who intimated that Hunter Biden’s Laptop from Hell was mere Kremlin propaganda.

These “Spies who lie,” as the New York Post dubbed them, earned this rebuke—at least. The federal government granted them secret clearances to help protect U.S. national security, not perpetrate blatant election interference and turbocharge censorship.

The Post’s Oct. 14, 2020, exposé discussed the laptop and its extensive evidence of the Biden crime family’s elaborate global shakedowns. In short, Hunter and Joe Biden’s brother Jim swapped access to “the Big Guy” for a Porsche, jewelry, a Chinese-financed shopping spree, countless other luxuries, and $30 million in cash payments, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., estimates.

After consulting Biden–Harris campaign aide Antony Blinken (who became secretary of state), former acting CIA director Michael Morrell invited 50 other former intelligence officers to sign an open letter that trivialized the Post’s exclusive for containing “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” These spies had no evidence to support this Big Lie.

Democrats then used the ex-spies’ letter to browbeat Facebook, Twitter (now X), and other social-media platforms into hiding the Laptop from Hell. In fact, Twitter (pre-Elon Musk) froze the Post’s account for 15 days!

Federal agents also twisted arms in Silicon Valley to bury the Post’s dispatch.

“The FBI warned us about a potential Russian disinformation operation about the Biden family and Burisma,” Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg wrote House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, on Aug. 26, 2024.

After the Post’s scoop emerged, “We sent that story to fact-checkers for review and temporarily demoted it while waiting for a reply,” Zuckerberg explained. “It’s since been made clear that the reporting was not Russian disinformation, and in retrospect, we shouldn’t have demoted the story.”

Meanwhile, during his final, Oct. 22, 2020  debate against Trump, Joe Biden invoked the ex-spies’ fake letter to smear the Post’s true story as “a bunch of garbage.” The pro-Biden media lapped this up and used the “garbage” line to conceal the Post’s story even further.

Team 51’s abuse of their secret clearances proved highly effective.

According to a Nov. 24, 2020, Media Research Center/Polling Company survey of 1,750 Biden voters in seven swing states, 45.1% knew nothing about Hunter’s laptop. Among these voters, 9.4% said that this fact would have shifted their support to Trump, a third-party contender, or none of the above.

Had Biden lost 4.2% of his votes, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin would have slipped from his fingers and into Trump’s hands. This would have given Trump 311 Electoral College votes and four more years in the Oval Office. Imagine: Trump would have completed his second term Monday, rather than commence it.

Team 51 includes such luminaries as former director of national intelligence James Clapper and ex-CIA directors John Brennan, Michael Hayden, and Leon Panetta. They and others have savored book contracts, TV deals, and lucrative consulting arrangements. In short, these snakes have suffered zero consequences for deceiving the American people as they conducted their most solemn civic duty: choosing the president of the United States.

“The signatories willfully weaponized the gravitas of the Intelligence Community to manipulate the political process and undermine our democratic institutions,” Trump’s executive order states. “This fabrication of the imprimatur of the Intelligence Community to suppress information essential to the American people during a Presidential election is an egregious breach of trust reminiscent of a third world country.”

President Trump fired a torpedo into the hull of the USS Deep State. He had every right to rescind these scoundrels’ security clearances. This special privilege is intended to keep the American people safe, free, and prosperous—not to spread lies, bamboozle voters, and steal elections.

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) President Donald Trump left a crowd of supporters with split sides Saturday during a roast-filled rally in Nevada.

Trump cracked jokes at the expense of former President Joe Biden and other world leaders during remarks about his “No Tax on Tips” promise at the Circa Resort & Casino.

The Republican president started out by remembering the “bad things” the Biden administration brought to America, which he said in just under a week had been outshined by the “light” of his second term.

“I’ve heard it from even our enemies. They’ve called up and they say, ‘Sir, we hate you. We hate you, but there’s a light all over the world, right?’” Trump chuckled with the crowd.

Trump continued on to say how it’s good that foreign leaders “hate” him because they “like Sleepy Joe.” He suggested it was a running joke among world leaders that Biden would “never pick up” when they called, only to call back two months later.

“Yes, his schedule, he was extremely busy sleeping,” Trump said, continuing as his speech seemed to turn into stand-up comedy.

Trump said, “So two months comes along, there’s no call. He didn’t call.” The president tried to get through his next sentence but could not contain his laughter, smiling widely as the crowd reveled in his hilarity.

Political commentator Megyn Kelly picked up on Trump’s authentic laughter, saying, “You almost never hear Trump laugh! He’s genuinely laughing here. It’s great!!”

“Trump breaking character for a split second with that laugh is so adorable lol,” X user @Nysttren reacted.

Others called Trump genuinely funny and likened his remarks to that of a stand-up comedian.

“President Trump’s comic instincts are not understood or appreciated by the left,” X user @BartemyS wrote on the social media platform. “The guy is hilarious!”

House Speaker Invites Trump to Mark New Era in Joint Session of Congress

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) House Speaker Mike Johnson invited President Donald Trump to ring in a new “Golden Age” on March 4 in what would be his first address to a Joint Session of Congress during his second term.

Johnson sent a letter to the “Honorable” Trump on Saturday, asking the president to speak in the chamber of the U.S. House of Representatives to lay out his “America First vision” that will drive the legislature’s policymaking.

“America’s Golden Age has begun,” Johnson wrote to Trump. “Thanks to your strong leadership and bold action in the first days of your presidency, the United States is already experiencing a resurgence of patriotism, unity, and hope for the future.”

Johnson continued, “Your administration and the 119th Congress working together have the chance to make these next four years some of the most consequential of our nation’s history. To that end, it is my distinct honor and great privilege to invite you to address a Joint Session of Congress on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in the Chamber of the U.S. House of Representatives, to share your America First vision for our legislative future.”

Johnson wrote to Trump that he “eagerly” awaits his response before his signature ended the letter.

The GOP speaker shared his letter on social media, calling it a “distinct honor and great privilege” to invite Trump to speak before both chambers of Congress.

Trump has yet to respond to the invitation to as of early Sunday. If the president accepts Johnson’s invitation, he will speak to lawmakers just 43 days after taking office.

Conservative social media users rejoiced at Johnson’s invitation, with many looking forward to the opportunity to watch “meltdown reactions and tears” from Democrats on the House floor.

One user expressed anticipation toward the “great comedy” that Trump’s address will elicit from leftists, and another asked what color Democrats would wear to protest the president.

Rubio Exposes Biden Lie about Taliban Hostages, Threatens ‘BIG Bounty’

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio exposed the Biden administration’s apparent lie about the Taliban holding more American hostages than originally believed, escalating his rhetoric against Afghanistan’s terrorist leaders on Saturday.

Rubio responded to reports that the Taliban could have additional Americans detained in Afghanistan by threatening a “BIG bounty” on those responsible for the heinous act.

“Just hearing the Taliban is holding more American hostages than has been reported,” Rubio wrote on X.

Trump’s top diplomat followed up his bombshell reveal by saying, “If this is true, we will have to immediately place a VERY BIG bounty on their top leaders, maybe even bigger than the one we had on bin Laden.”

Al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden, the Islamic terrorist who orchestrated the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, was killed by U.S. forces in 2011. No one is believed to have collected a bounty for bin Laden, which went from $25 million immediately after the attacks to $50 million after Congress authorized the secretary of state to offer more, according to Voice of America.

Rubio did not provide information about who the potential American hostages may be.

The Taliban retook power in Aug. 2021 as a result of former President Joe Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal of U.S. troops. The disastrous pullout led to a suicide bombing at the Kabul airport that caused the death of 13 American troops and several Afghans.

Rubio proved he would carry out Trump’s agenda on Friday when he ordered the freeze of new funding for nearly all new foreign aid programs, according to CBS News — a stark shift from the billions Biden dumped into countries like Ukraine.

Rubio’s order fell in line with Trump’s executive order signed Monday that enabled the U.S. to reevaluate and realign its foreign aid.

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Vice President JD Vance gave masterful rebuttals to two partisan questions from so-called reporters following the swearing-in ceremony of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on Saturday. 

“Why should women in the armed services trust you guys?” asked a reporter, echoing the leftist talking points to falsely accuse Hegseth of being a sexist. Hegseth looked at Vance with a smirk, seemingly aware the question was a partisan attempt to smear him.

“Let me answer that for the new secretary,” Vance said. “All people in our armed services should trust him because he looks out for them. He’s going to fight for them and make sure we have the kind of military we can all be proud of, and that, again, when we send them to do a job, we do it well, we do it quickly, and then we get the hell out.” 

Vance added, “That’s what Secretary Hegseth is going to bring to the Department of Defense.” 

The Republican-led Senate confirmed Hegseth on Friday after a relentless battle against Democrats and a barrage of media attacks, puzzlingly accusing him of alcohol abuse, sexual misconduct and other unfounded claims. 

Three self-described Republicans—Sens. Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Mitch McConnell—joined Democrats in opposing Hegseth’s nomination. The vote passed 51 to 50, with Vance casting a tie-breaking vote.

The legacy media has made it their point to highlight that Hegseth is the first secretary of defense to receive such a narrow margin. 

When asked whether he was concerned about any other nominees coming “really close to” a tie vote, Vance humorously used a football analogy. 

“As I learned with the Buckeyes just a week ago when you win the championship, you don’t give a damn what the score was,” he said, drawing laughter from the crowd. “We won the championship on this one. We’ve got a great Secretary of Defense, we’re proud of him, and he’s going to do a great job.”

Texas Official Says Biden’s Destruction of Southern Border Coming to Light

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A Texas border official has come forward with an account of the state of the southern border following President Donald Trump’s return to office on Jan. 20. 

Texas Public Safety Department Lt. Chris Olivarez revealed that border officials are just now uncovering how much destruction President Joe Biden left behind on the southern border.

“We’re seeing how this new administration is advancing their policies and their objectives and what they’ve been talking about in the last four years, and how we’re starting to uncover the damage from the last four years,” Olivarez said during an interview on Fox News Live. 

“You saw in the first 24 hours, hundreds of criminal illegal aliens were arrested by I.C.E. agents,” he added, referring to the recently apprehended illegal aliens as “some of the worst of the worst.” 

Olivarez’s comments come less than five days after Trump began to undo Biden-era immigration policies, which had enabled massive, and unprecedented, waves of illegal immigration. 

Since taking office, Trump has signed several executive orders to expedite the removal of illegal aliens who wreaked havoc during the Biden presidency. 

Olivarez noted that White House border czar Tom Homan is cracking down on those individuals who pose “threats to public safety and national security.”  

Remove those “criminals,” Olivarez stressed, “ensures a much safer environment for those that live in those areas.” 

When asked whether Trump’s tough stance on illegal immigration has been a deterrent to new border crossings, Olivarez agreed. 

“We’ve seen the abuse of that system for four years, and that led to a record level of mass migration,” he declared. “Now, how that transitions over to what we’re doing in Texas. We have been able to decrease illegal border crossings in the last year by over 87% just because of our efforts.”

Watch: Rachel Maddow Lets Biden’s J6 Prosecutor Air Dubious Grievances

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) One of the Biden-era prosecutors involved in the Jan. 6 prosecutions rushed to MSNBC to whine about President Donald Trump’s sweeping pardons for the more than 1,500 Americans who protested the certification of the 2020 presidential election results. 

Former DOJ trial attorney Ashley Akers, who resigned before Trump took office, told Rachel Maddow on Friday that the now-freed protesters are “very dangerous people” and described the pardons as “appalling.”

“This wasn’t ordinary violence,” Akers claimed on the Rachel Maddow Show, turning a blind eye to the BLM riots of 2020. “The police officers who were testifying in trials for years talked about this being the scariest day of their lives. They didn’t know if they were going to come home.” 

Contrary to Akers’s claims, the only individuals who died during the protests of Jan. 6, 2021, were Ashli Babbitt, Kevin Greeson, Benjamin Phillips and Rosanne Boyland—all of whom were Trump supporters.

Babbitt, 35, was a respected veteran who served 12 years in the U.S. Air Force. She was shot by Capitol Police Officer Michael Byrd while inside the U.S. Capitol. Despite public condemnation for his actions, Byrd was subsequently cleared of any wrongdoing by the Biden DOJ. 

Akers also claimed that the Jan. 6 pardons “undermine the rule of law,” conveniently spearing her former boss, President Joe Biden, who commuted the death sentences of some of the nation’s most dangerous criminals, including rapists, murderers and terrorists. 

She added, “As judges in our court have continually repeated that the cornerstone of our democracy is the peaceful transition of power from one administration to the next. And the crimes that were pardoned from January 6th were crimes that disrupted that peaceful transition of power.”

Akers’s remarks about the certification’s disruption echo language from the DOJ’s unsuccessful attempts to prosecute some of the defendants on charges of obstruction of an official proceeding. 

The Supreme Court rebuked the DOJ for using these charges in relation to the Jan. 6 events, affirming that such law applies only to evidence tampering, not mere interruptions.

Trump attempted to quell the violence that day by releasing a video urging his supporters to go home and respect law enforcement.  

The video, posted on Twitter (now X), did not receive widespread dissemination because Big Tech companies locked and subsequently banned Trump’s accounts in unison.

MSNBC’s Star Attorney Links White Americans to ‘Disgusting’ Label

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Leftist lawyer Elie Mystal unleashed a verbal tirade against President Donald Trump’s “white” voters following the DOJ’s decision to freeze civil rights cases until the Senate confirms Harmeet Dhillon, the incoming head of the Civil Rights Division. 

During a Saturday interview on MSNBC’s Velshi with host Ali Velshi, Mystal, notorious for his racially charged claims, scolded the DOJ’s acts, despite their similarities to the Biden administration’s halting of Trump-era policies in 2021. 

“They told you exactly what they were going to do and exactly how they were going to do it—and a majority of white people voted for this. This is the disgusting version of America that people want,” a visibly agitated Mystal exclaimed. 

“And, oh, by the way, eggs are still more expensive. So, you didn’t even get that. Great job, white folks,” Mystal added while directing his comments toward Trump supporters. 

Mystal’s grievances mirrored the cynicism of leftist activists who panicked by the common practice of new administration officials pausing and reviewing the policies enacted by their predecessors. 

On Jan. 20, 2021, then-President Joe Biden issued approximately 24 executive orders reversing some of Trump’s signature policies on immigration, the COVID-19 pandemic, the economy, health care and regulations. 

Biden even removed nearly all Trump-era district attorneys, though Trump took similar action in 2017 against the Obama-appointed prosecutors. 

Despite Mystal’s alarmist rhetoric, the DOJ’s current orders are unsurprising, considering the stark contrast in policy priorities between Trump and Biden. 

Under Biden’s leadership, the DOJ aggressively prosecuted and jailed 23 peaceful pro-life activists after some of them prayed and sang hymns outside abortion centers. 

Trump granted unconditional pardons to the activists, whose only goal was to protect the lives of unborn children. 

“They should not have been prosecuted. Many of them are elderly people,” Trump said in a signing ceremony on Thursday inside the Oval Office.
