Eric Adams Aide Rushed to Hospital after FBI Raided Home

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Federal investigators carried out yet raid in their investigation into New York City Mayor Eric Adams’s 2021 campaign — this time the FBI targeted the home of top aide Winnie Greco.

The raid’s frenzy ultimately led to Greco being rushed to hospital as the FBI seized boxes in their investigation into the potential use of an NYC mall’s workers for straw donations—where individuals donate to a campaign but later receive reimbursement.

News outlet The City first reported the allegations, revealing that Greco held campaign fundraising operations for Adams’s 2021 mayoral campaign at New World Mall.

Specifically, the news outlet claimed that one mall worker admitted to making a $249 donation to Adams at the request of her employer, only to then be reimbursed. Almost two dozen others admitted to participating in similar donation schemes under the same agreements.

A separate, but related, scheme led to a plea deal on Feb. 5 between Adams aide Dwayne Montgomery and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Similarly, Shahid and Yahya Mushtag pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor conspiracy charge in October, according to outlet.

These allegations also ignited a high-profile federal investigation into purported favors carried out by Adams on behalf of Turkish donors.

Greco currently serves as an Asian affairs advisor for the Adams administration, where she enjoys annual salary of $100,000.

The federal investigation into Greco initially surfaced in November 2023. After her medical episode, she is on leave.

Responding to the allegations, Adams asserted that he consistently urged his workers to abide by the rules. “Follow the law, follow the rules. I said it throughout my entire law enforcement career, and I’ve said it in my public life as well,” Adams said in an interview on NY1, according to the New York Post.

House GOP Releases 5,000 Hrs of J6 Footage after Arrest of Blaze Reporter

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) House Republicans unleashed Friday a staggering total of 5,000 hours of never-before-seen footage of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, just hours after the FBI apprehended Blaze journalist Steve Baker, who recorded inside the Capitol.

The release of the footage followed House Speaker Mike Johnson’s pledge to uphold his predecessor’s promise to bring transparency regarding the events of the Jan. 6, 2021 riots.

“This ongoing work is especially necessary considering the deeply flawed prior investigation conducted by the partisan January 6 select committee,” Johnson stated, addressing the House Administration Oversight Subcommittee’s footage release.

House Republicans clarified that the release does not compromise sensitive security information. The unveiling comes on the heels of the prior release of 90 hours of footage.

“My subcommittee’s investigation has always been about providing the American people with full transparency and complete accountability about what really happened on January 6, 2021,” House Administration Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Barry Loudermilk asserted.

The footage release coincided with the arrest of the Blaze’s Baker, who voluntarily surrendered to federal authorities after being charged with four misdemeanor offenses for illegally entering the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

At the time of the incident, Baker worked as an independent journalist and has subsequently released damning reports on misleading claims about the events when supporters of then-President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol.

Video footage of Baker’s arrest has since gone viral on social media, depicting two federal officials escorting a handcuffed Baker into a sedan.

Following his release, a stunned Baker described the harrowing experience he endured while in federal custody.

“I’m actually still shaking,” Baker told the Blaze in an interview. “I don’t like the deliberate humiliation they put me through. There was no reason to do that. There was no reason to march me into a courtroom in leg chains today.”

Musk’s AI to Hold Politicians Accountable for Spending Sprees

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Twitter owner Elon Musk might soon provide a remedy to expose Congress’s efforts to secretly push through large pieces of legislation without allowing Americans to scrutinize and review their contents.

Musk announced on Monday that his artificial intelligence chatbot, Grok, will feature the capability to summarize what he termed as “mammoth laws.”

In a Friday tweet amassing nearly 45 million views, Musk said: “In the coming weeks, Grok will summarize these mammoth laws before they are passed by Congress, so you know what their real purpose is.” Musk said on Friday in a tweet, earning nearly 45 million views.

Musk’s commitment came after the House and Senate rushed a government funding bill which was subsequently signed into law by President Joe Biden. The bill effectively funds the federal government through March 8 and March 22.

Grok is as one of the largest AI chatbots in the U.S. Diverging from other bots, such as Google’s Gemini (formerly Bard) and OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Grok attempts to provide unbiased information to its users, Musk has implied. Grok is currently available to Twitter-paid subscribers.

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., one of the most outspoken critics of Congress’s extravagant spending, responded to Musk’s commitment.

“Can’t we already determine a bill’s purpose simply by reading its name and assuming it will do the opposite?” Massie replied in a sarcastic Tweet. “On a serious note, my staff and I labor to predict the ‘effect’ of a bill even when I know its ‘purpose.’ This sounds like a great tool though!”

Former presidential candidate and biotech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy hailed Musk’s commitment as a “smart use case of AI.”

When Republicans secured the majority in 2022, the then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., changed congressional rules to give members 72 hours to review legislation before bringing them to the House floor.

“I’m trying to change Washington,” McCarthy declared on June 7, 2023. “No more thousand-page bills. Everyone gets at least 72 hours to read legislation. When you make changes like that, it’s disruptive. Republicans are going to make this place work better. And we’re going to do it together.”

Before McCarthy’s tenure, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sidestepped such a rule.

Biden Covered Up Info about Iranian Assassination Plots

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A lawmaker on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee claimed that the Biden administration suppressed information about Iran’s efforts to assassinate U.S. officials so that neither Congress nor the American public would know about it.

“What Americans don’t know is that the Biden administration has gone to great lengths to hide the extent and persistence of those threats” from Iran, Sen. Ted Cruz, R–Texas, said during a Feb. 28, 2024, Senate hearing on Tehran’s network of terror proxies, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

Among those threats are active plots to assassinate former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and other top U.S. officials.

Cruz then added that the administration has been “abusing the classification system” to make sure that these plots could not be discussed in a public setting.

“They find public discussion of Iran’s aggression politically inconvenient because it gets in the way of their appeasement of the regime,” he said.

The Trump administration’s Iran envoy, Brian Hook, is one of the former American officials whom Iran wants to see dead, which forced him to have around-the-clock security.

Despite that the administration is required to notify Congress about threats to former officials, it “took the unprecedented step” last year to classify this notification to ensure the information did not become public, Cruz said.

Hook thanked Congress for funding a security detail “that provides protection for [him] and [his] family” even though he doesn’t work for the government anymore.

“I wish we were in a place that it was not necessary, but that is where we are,” he said, indicating that the threats against him are still active.

The administration allowed these assassination plots to continue through a soft approach to Tehran that gave the regime more than $100 billion in recent years.

“It is completely unacceptable that the current administration has flowed $100 billion to a regime that is actively trying to murder former senior U.S. officials,” Cruz said.

Nikki Haley Gets Endorsement from Two Notorious Senate ‘RINOs’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Sens. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and Susan Collins, R-Maine, both widely dubbed “RINOs,” have thrown their support behind the longshot presidential campaign of former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, extending a lifeline to the near-impossible prospect of a Haley victory.

“I’m proud to endorse Gov. Nikki Haley,” Murkowski said in a statement released by Haley’s campaign. “America needs someone with the right values, vigor, and judgment to serve as our next President—and in this race, there is no one better than her.” Collins joined Murkowski on Friday evening, according to reporting from CNN.

This backing comes just ahead of the Super Tuesday caucus on March 4, where numerous states are set to hold their primaries. Haley is facing former President Donald Trump, a powerhouse who has secured victories in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Michigan, Nevada and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Haley persistently positions herself as a viable alternative to Trump. She argues that Trump’s legal troubles would impede his chances of winning the general election in 2024.

Echoing these sentiments in her endorsement statement, Murkowski stated, “Nikki will be a strong leader and uphold the ideals of the Republican Party while serving as a President for all Americans.”

Murkowski entered the Senate when her father, Frank Murkowski, who was a U.S. senator at the time, won the Alaska governorship in 2002 and appointed her to take his place. She secured her latest re-election in 2022 after facing a tough primary challenge from Kelly Tshibaka, supported by Trump.

Collins joined the Senate in 1997, last running for re-election in 2020. She was the sole Republican to vote against the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

Murkowski and Collins were two of the seven infamous Republicans to back the second impeachment for Trump. Such move and past criticism aimed at the former president have earned them the infamous title of “Republican in Name Only.”

Murkowski and Collins are the sole sitting senators to endorse Haley. In contrast, Trump has gathered support from the following 32 senators, according to the Hill:

  1. Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala.
  2. Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala.
  3. Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska
  4. Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark.
  5. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.
  6. Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla.

Corrupt Prosecutor Hoping to Start New Trump Trial 5 Days Before Election

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was revealed that the corrupt prosecutors wanted to start one of the Donald Trump trials five days before the 2024 election as an attempt to prevent him from becoming the President again, but the effort was stopped by the judge.

The judge in the classified documents case against Donald Trump ended a key scheduling hearing on March 1, 2024, without setting a new trial date and, therefore, leaving it unclear if Trump will stand trial for the case this year.

Before the court was adjourned after about four hours, Judge Aileen Cannon heard differing arguments over when the trial should be held by prosecutors working in special counsel Jack Smith’s office and Trump’s lawyers, according to NBC News.

Initially, Cannon scheduled the trial to begin May 20, 2024, but it has been widely expected that she would push it back.

Justice Department prosecutors proposed a July 8, 2024, start date. Trump’s defense team, who initially proposed an Aug. 12, 2024, start date, however, said that it would be “unfair” to hold the trial before the presidential election that will happen in November.

Trump’s lawyers argued a pre-election trial would be logistically difficult because of the other legal cases against him that he faces, adding that the government’s proposed July start date is “completely unworkable” and “an impossibility for the defendant.”

Trump’s lawyers also said that they have to focus on the upcoming trial that’s set to begin March 25, 2024, in New York and is expected to last about six weeks.

His defense team said that the trials should wait until after the Supreme Court rules on his claims of presidential immunity because their ruling could affect how the case proceeds, the news source added.

The trial should be delayed until after a hearing on evidence, which the special counsel’s office disagreed with, the defense lawyers also said.

In addition to that, Julie Kelly of Real Clear Investigations reported on Twitter that the establishment has been tirelessly — as early as 2021 — to “concoct a documents charge against Trump.”

“Contrary to public assertions and Jack Smith’s indictment, it appears NARA and DOJ and even the Biden White House general counsel were in cahoots as early as spring 2021 to concoct a documents charge against Trump,” she wrote.

Kelly added that the efforts continued in 2022 as well.

“DOJ says FBI opened an investigation into the mishandling of classified docs in March 2022 after NARA sent a criminal referral following the alleged discovery of files with ‘classified markings’ in the 15 boxes Team Trump gave to NARA in Jan 2022,” she wrote.

Judge to Rule on Disqualification Over Willis’s Affair Within ‘Two Weeks’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A Georgia judge suggested that a verdict regarding the potential disqualification of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the case against former President Donald Trump could be imminent, following closing remarks on Friday.

Judge Scott McAfee stated that he would rule within two weeks on the motion seeking to remove Willis from the case over accusations of conflicts of interest stemming from Willis’s relationship with Nathan Wade, one of the special prosecutors leading the case.

“There are several legal issues to sort through, several factual determinations that I have to make, and those aren’t ones that I can make at this moment,” he said, as reported by the Daily Caller. “So I will be taking time to make sure I give this case the full consideration it is due. I hope to have an answer for everyone within the next two weeks.”

John Merchant, the defense attorney representing co-defendant Michael Roman, asserted the presence of “enough facts” to disqualify Willis. Notably, Roman was the first to disclose the disturbing allegations.

In addition to Merchant, Steve Sadow, a Trump attorney, and Harry Macdougald, legal counsel for co-defendant Jeffrey Clark, delivered their concluding remarks on Friday.

According to Fox News, Sadow contended that Willis’s infamous comments in church, where she asserted that allegations against her were solely based on her race, were a “calculated determination” intended to “prejudice the defendants and their counsel.” Similarly, Macdougald rebuked the allegations, denouncing them as casting “an irreparable stain on the case.”

Adam Abbate, Willis’s legal counsel, said that the allegations do not prove a conflict of interest and that there was “no evidence” that Willis directly benefited from Wade’s contract.

Willis is embroiled in controversy after bombshell revelations that she hired Wade, with whom she admittedly held a romantic relationship, to lead the criminal case against Trump for alleged illegal efforts to question the 2020 election results in Georgia.

Wade, a married individual currently entangled in a divorce proceeding, paid vacation trips for both himself and Willis, allegedly using funds from his Fulton County contract—an arrangement that Willis approved.

Willis has repeatedly refuted the allegations, claiming her affair with Wade began after the prosecution against Trump commenced. This timing, Willis argued, means she did not hire Wade based on her previous ties. However, a former friend of Willis contradicted these statements, declaring that the relationship between the two began before the specified timeline.

Willis additionally asserted that she repaid Wade for the vacation trips, saying that she did not personally gain from Wade’s contract with Fulton County. However, she has yet to provide evidence and maintains that the reimbursement was made all in cash.

When pressed for cash withdrawal receipts, Willis replied by saying that she had the cash at home. Her father, who testified, claimed he had taught her to keep cash at home, attributing the practice to being a “black” thing. Notably, Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., currently under a federal indictment for corruption, raised a similar defense to explain why he had allegedly bribed cash at home.

Willis charged Trump and 18 other co-defendants in Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) charges over what she described as an illegal attempt to thwart the Georgia election results in 2020.

Hardcore Musician Allegedly Gave Estrogen to Bandmate in Order to Steal His Fiancée

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A hardcore band known as Llorona broke up after the group’s lead singer allegedly dosed one of his band mates with estrogen in an attempt to steal his fiancée, according to the Daily Mail.

Other members of the band ousted former lead singer Diego after accusing him of spiking the bassist’s drinks with the feminine hormone.

Bandmates said Diego initially confessed to lacing the drinks during a drinking binge of his own, before owning up to it while sober.

Diego attempted to force the band’s bassist, called “sixx,” to transition in order to make him less appealing to his fiancée.

The band announced Diego’s departure in a post to its now-deleted Instagram account.

“We have decided to part ways with our vocalist Diego due to admission of very disturbing and concerning behavior towards one of our band members and their partner,” the post read.

“He has been attempting to force a transition onto him for the last 5 months, in hopes that would give him the opportunity to ‘swoop in’ once he looked stronger and more manly in comparison. (Stupid cave man mindset that makes zero sense),” the post continued.

The band also reported that sixx experienced several health issues stemming from the doses of estrogen.

Diego also confessed to having an obsession with sixx’s fiancée, Caroline, while on his bender.

“There are many more disgusting details that have been left out for the sake of privacy and general censorship,” the group concluded in the post.

They also posted a text conversation discussing the entire affair, and another text containing Diego’s confession.

It was unclear how Diego obtained the hormone-altering drugs, but the post mentioned something about his “gym habits.”

Sixx announced that he plans to “see an endocrinologist over the next few months to track [his] hormonal fluctuations to see if [his] estrogen levels are extremely heightened and go back to normal over time.”

Las Vegas Sued for Deleting Records of Its Shady Voter Rolls

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Restoring Integrity and Trust in Elections, a watchdog group, has reported that Clark County, Nevada, which includes Las Vegas, has violated the the federal National Voter Registration Act by deleting voting records prematurely.

The NVRA requires that counties keep voting information on-hand for two years after each election, and that they provide said information to the public if requested.

After Clark County failed to do so, RITE filed a lawsuit.

According to RITE President Derek Lyons, Clark County has only been keeping the information on file for six months.

“RITE has identified a new disappearing act in Las Vegas, but this one is far less entertaining than a magician on the Strip,” Lyons wrote, noting that the county has also failed to work with RITE to help them access any relevant information.

“By all indications, Clark County is deleting nearly all election-related emails after six months, rather than retaining them for two years as required by federal law and state law,” he added. “RITE has tried for months to resolve this and other document-related issues with the county, but its requests for an explanation have been ignored.”

In the group’s legal notice addressed to Clark County, they suggest that the county has “violated the NVRA’s records retention and disclosure obligations” by not keeping the information available for two years.

The watchdog group demanded that Clark County officials respond, or prepare to meet in court.

“RITE demands that you take immediate steps to remedy these legal violations,” the notice said, offering county officials one final chance to hand over the relevant information.

“If you have withheld responsive records, RITE is entitled to their immediate production,” it continued. “And if you have destroyed records that are less than two years old, RITE is entitled to a forthright and unambiguous admission of that error, an explanation for why it occurred, and firm assurances that you will immediately implement processes and procedures to prevent ongoing and future violations of the NVRA.”

The news is particularly troubling given the central place Las Vegas has played in recent elections, culminating in a 2022 election riddled with allegations of fraud.

LAPD Hires Illegals as Cops amid Spate of Recent Attacks, Safety Fears

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) The Los Angeles Police Department is now hiring as police officers illegal immigrants who have attained special residency status under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status, The Federalist reported.

Arming the illegal immigrants and giving them the power to enforce law, the LAPD made the announcement in January, with Capt. Robin Petillo noting that the newly recruited officers would “possess department-issued firearms on and off duty.”

As recently as two years ago, no California cities were able to hire noncitizens to be law enforcement officers in the state.

But now the department has hired nearly a dozen candidates, and plans to move forward under a 2022 California law that made DACA illegal immigrants eligible for public-sector jobs, including police work.

Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore said that former President Barack Obama’s 2012 executive order—now court sanctioned—which decreed federal immigration law to be invalid at the caprices of the executive branch had made all of this possible.

“We’ve tried to carve just what is necessary for DACA, and these individuals be treated on the same basis of which non-DACA recipients are, as to the possession of a department firearm and its use,” Moore said.

The move to deputize illegal immigrants comes in spite of a border-security crisis that has led to violence across the country as immigrants continue to murder or otherwise harm American citizens.

For instance, last week Venezuelan national Jose Antonio Ibarra was charged with murdering nursing student Laken Riley, who was jogging near Georgia University.

Further, last month a twice-deported Salvadoran illegal immigrant shot and killed a 2-year-old in Maryland.

In New York City, a moped gang has formed which robs various establishments in the city.

Illegal immigrant Peraza Navas, a part of the group, was arrested and told investigators that the crime syndicate is massive.

“It’s much bigger than me,” Peraza Navas allegedly said. “In a million years, I never thought you’d catch me. I’ve been going to Miami every three weeks. And it’s much bigger than me.”
