‘Cringey’ Drew Barrymore Begs Kamala To Be ‘Momala of the Country’ in Fawning Interview

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Actress Drew Barrymore earned a new role as Vice President Kamala Harris’s No. 1 fangirl following an awkward interview on her eponymous, CBS-produced daytime talk show.

During the widely lambasted interview—which was taped last week after an unfortunate episode involving Harris’s Secret Service detail—the former E.T. star gushed over the deeply unpopular veep, calling her the “momala of the country,” according to Decider.

Even leftist outlet the Daily Beast admitted it was the “cringiest thing you’ll see this week.”

Barrymore started by pointing out that only women were allowed in the audience that morning, displaying the unfettered female empowerment taking place in the studio.

She followed up by asking Harris about her relationship with her stepchildren, Ella and Cole, and what it was like meeting them for the first time.

“First of all I’ll tell you, we kind of don’t use the term ‘step,'” Harris replied.

“I love Disney; however, Disney kind of messed that up for a lot of us over the years,” she continued, referring to the woke groomer corporation’s frequent use of the wicked step-mother trope in classic fairy-tale movies like Cinderella and Snow White. “… Their word for me is ‘Momala.'”

Harris then told the story of how she and her now husband, Doug Emhoff, dated for a while before she met his kids.

“His parents have been married 65 years,” she began.

“I am a child of divorced parents, and he didn’t fully understand what I understood in terms of my own lived experience,” she continued, adding that she was none too eager to meet her boyfriend’s extra baggage for that reason. “Children create such attachment, and until I was sure that he and I had something that was real, I didn’t want to do that to the kids.”

Barrymore lauded Harris for her integrity in such a complicated, emotional situation.

Harris also explained that she is friends with her husband’s ex-wife, Kristen, and they all “respect” one another.

Barrymore, sitting very close to Harris, then took her hands.

“I keep thinking in my head that we all need a mom. I’ve been thinking that we really all need a tremendous hug in the world right now,” she said as she slid in closer to the politician. “But in our country, we need you to be Momala of the country.”

The audience greeted this line with uproarious applause.

“Oh. Yeah. I mean… Yeah. No,” Harris replied.

Twitter users had a field day with the moment, with many users astounded by previously undiscovered levels of cringe.

Radio show host Howard Stern recently made similar comments to President Joe Biden, referring to him as “father of the country.”

Both politicians have drawn considerable criticism from serious media outlets for their refusal to do hard-hitting interview, instead favoring heavily scripted propaganda.

Only two presidents—Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon—have had fewer press conferences than Biden, who averages 11 per year. And unlike any prior president, Biden has made it obvious that he uses cheat sheets to call on reporters whose questions have been pre-vetted to prevent the president from going off message.

Barrymore, a former drug-addict, has previously made her political views clear with interview subjects such as twice-failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, who likewise received a disproportionate amount of dotage relative to her accomplishments.

Rampant FISA Abuse Revealed after Congressional Renewal

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Now they tell us.

After Congress renewed earlier this month the controversial Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act—which allows for the warrantless collection of Americans’ communications—the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a report this week showing the rampant abuse of FISA.

According to the ODNI report, Section 702 was used to query the communications of U.S. persons 57,094 times between December 2022 and November 2023.

That number is a decrease from the 199,383 U.S. person queries from December 2021 to November 2022. The number a year before that — 2,964,643 — was significantly higher, with the FBI blaming an investigation involving attempted cyber intrusions of critical infrastructure during which analysts ran about 1.9 million queries related to potential victims.

The ODNI report identifies multiple possible reasons for the reduction over the last year, including a requirement that the FBI enter a justification for a database query about an American before conducting it and tighter approval mandates for searches that are deemed especially sensitive.

While the number of U.S. person queries declined, the number of times an American was “unmasked” increased by some 20,000 from 2022 to 2023. Intelligence reports generated from FISA are supposed to protect the identities of U.S. persons, but can “unmask” those people if it’s necessary for understanding the intelligence. According to the ODNI report, 13,036 U.S. persons were unmasked in 2021, 11,511 were unmasked in 2022 and 31,330 were unmasked last year.

The ODNI report attributed the spike in unmasking to a “single report containing

a large number of U.S. person identities that a foreign intelligence target was seeking to victimize.”

“The identities in this single report in CY2023 were not those of individual people, but of U.S. entities associated with critical infrastructure,” the report said. “The approved unmaskings related to attempts by foreign cyber actors to compromise U.S. critical infrastructure and account for the increase in unmaskings by NSA.”

The release of the annual report by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence comes more than a week after a bitterly divided Congress voted to reauthorize a surveillance program that administration officials say is crucial for national security but that civil liberties advocates say results in privacy abuses of Americans. Civil libertarians tried to implement warrant requirements, but were defeated.

Section 702 permits the U.S. government to collect without a warrant the communications of targeted foreigners located in other countries — including when those subjects are in contact with Americans or other people inside the U.S.

Michael Cohen Fundraising Off Trump Trial in TikTok Livestreams

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Michael Cohen, the disgraced former attorney turned key witness in Donald Trump’s infamous Manhattan trial, has ventured into a new gig: soliciting gifts and emojis through TikTok livestreams.

However, Cohen’s TikTok activity is not without potential repercussions, ABC News reported on Tuesday.

Cohen’s live videos, at times lasting hours, might help Trump’s defense team by undermining his imminent testimony in the case pursued by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg concerning business records.

“Trump 2024? More like Trump 20-40 years,” Cohen quipped in one of his TikTok streams, boasting a sizable audience of nearly 292,000 followers.

@michaelcohen_Join me each night at 10pm est on TikTok for more raw, unfiltered and fun conversations!♬ original sound – Michael Cohen

ABC News reported that this behavior could incite the ire of anti-Trump prosecutors involved in the trial.

“I’d be furious. As a prosecutor, the last thing you want your witness to do is to be talking about the case in a forum other than the courtroom,” said Chris Timmon, an ABC News contributor and former Georgia prosecutor.

Former prosecutor Jeremy Saland expressed confidence that Trump’s legal team is “scrutinizing and listening and watching” Cohen’s livestreams. “If I’m the prosecution, I’m on the phone right now saying, ‘Stop what you are doing — right now,'” Saland said.

During these livestreams, Cohen receives gifts that trigger pop-up stickers on the screens. While some of these gifts may be inexpensive, others could fetch up to $692 (or 44,999 TikTok coins).

Despite his willingness to engage in lengthy livestreams in exchange for gifts, Cohen was evasive when contacted by Headline USA for comment on the accusations.

“Sorry, I’m just busy at this moment. Is this something I can help you with,” Cohen said during a phone conversation.

Upon being asked whether he would address concerns about fundraising off TikTok videos, Cohen abruptly ended the call.

It isn’t immediately clear whether Headline USA’s call interrupted one of Cohen’s livestreams.

At the time of this publication, Cohen was live addressing individuals who criticized him for profiting from Trump’s name.

“Try to learn something,” Cohen told his audience of over a thousand viewers, evidently responding to the negative comments. “Try to add to a community instead of being the f**king idiots that you are.”

Cohen’s livestream was flooded with clown emojis and comments mentioning “Trump.” Some viewers expressed gratitude, thanking Cohen for his perceived role in “saving” the country and conveying pro-Biden talking points.

Cohen is slated to testify in Trump’s Manhattan trial, where the former president stands accused of allegedly directing Cohen to facilitate payments to former adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

Trump has consistently denied these allegations, along with any involvement with Daniels. The trial is overseen by Bragg, a far-left, Soros-tied prosecutor who campaigned on the promise to indict Trump if elected.

Biden Officials May Import ‘Refugees’ from Hamas-Governed Gaza

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Top officials in the Biden administration are considering admitting Palestinians into the U.S. from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, a news report alleged.

The potential plan consists of resettling Palestinians with immediate family members who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents (green card holders), CBS News reported on Tuesday.

To do so, these officials allegedly invoked the United States Refugee Admissions Program as a potential vehicle for the intake of “refugees.”

According to a document reviewed by CBS News, these “refugees” would be required to enter Egypt before making their way into the U.S.

Israel is currently embroiled in a war with Hamas after Gaza-based terrorists invaded southern Israel, where they carried out a bloody onslaught that led to the death of roughly 1,200 individuals.

Hamas, a foreign-designated terrorist organization, has ruled Gaza since 2007, following Palestinians’ election of Hamas politicians in the 2006 Palestinian legislative election.

According to the plan, potential “refugees” would undergo alleged security screening before being flown into the U.S.

The proposed plan comes as President Joe Biden is facing leftist opposition to his ever-changing support of Israel as it seeks to rescue innocent civilians taken hostage by Hamas on Oct. 7.

Such opposition threatens the fragile reelection hopes of Biden, who is facing the popular campaign of former President Donald Trump.

The potential plan to resettle Palestinians could provide the scandal-laden president with some political leverage, but it will certainly draw criticism amid the surge of illegal aliens at the southern border.

Many of those crossing the border illegally claim asylum status—and many of them can await court hearings in the U.S. with limited constraints.

1619 Project Creator Says $100M Harvard Reparations Pledge Isn’t Enough

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The primary author of The 1619 Project recently criticized Harvard University’s $100 million reparations plan to remedy the school’s past associations with slavery, despite that there are no more black people alive today who were directly affected by slavery.

During a speech at the school’s “Legacy of Slavery Symposium” in Cambridge, Mass., on Apr. 23, 2024, Nikole Hannah-Jones described Harvard’s $100 million “Legacy of Slavery” pledge as a “joke,” the Harvard Crimson reported.

She called the $100 million commitment a “rounding error” during her speech about Harvard’s pledge to address the effects of slavery, adding that “no reckoning has occurred,” according to the news source.

“A true investment would be hundreds of millions more,” Hannah-Jones said.

According to Hannah-Jones, Harvard’s pledge was especially insufficient because of its alleged past of ignoring the problems caused by the institution of slavery.

The far-left racial activist explained in an interview with the Crimson that she also was concerned about where the money was being spent and whether it was actually being used to effectively counter the perceived aftereffects of slavery.

“If you are serious about an acknowledgment and trying to repair, transparency is the number one thing because why would people trust an institution with this history to do the right thing,” she told the Crimson.

However, “hundreds of millions more” of American dollars as reparations wouldn’t be enough as well for the leftist radicals like Hannah-Jones who also suggested that buildings dedicated to historical figures with any connections to slavery should be altered.

“Absolutely these should be renamed. We have to say that we are not going to hold up people who were engaged in one of the worst human rights atrocities in the history of the world,” she said.

In the conclusion of her speech, Hannah-Jones advocated for a “lineage-based affirmative action program” and for there to be a “substantial sum” of Harvard’s endowment donated to historically black colleges.

White House: Biden Made 148 Mistakes During 2024 Public Remarks

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A review of official White House transcripts revealed that White House communications staff had to correct Joe Biden’s public remarks at least 148 times since the beginning of 2024.

The White House officially updated its transcript with corrections to what Biden said out loud at least 148 times, the Daily Caller reported after reviewing Biden’s 118 statements, speeches and conversations with reporters from Jan. 1, 2024, to April 24, 2024.

The news source added that some modifications included corrections to names, dates and titles of organizations, while others changed verbs and modified the meaning of Biden’s statement entirely. According to the White House staff, words that Biden didn’t say, but should’ve, also have been added to the transcripts.

“We must be honest: The threat to democracy must be defended [defeated],” the corrected State of the Union stated.

The Caller also compared the number of changes in Biden’s transcripts to a sampling of public remarks from Donald Trump.

The Biden White House corrected Biden’s State of the Union transcript 13 times, while the Trump White House didn’t modify Trump’s State of the Union address transcript at all.

Additionally, for Biden’s remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast, the White House corrected the transcript eight times. The Trump White House adjusted the transcript only once when Trump missed one word in a quote.

The White House modified Biden’s 2024 Earth Day remarks eight times in their final transcript. Trump’s transcript was not corrected at all.

Five speeches were also examined by the news source at random from the first few months of 2020. In those speeches, Trump’s White House did not correct the transcripts with the same frequency or manner as Biden’s. The only things that needed to be corrected in Trump’s transcripts were his mispronouncing or stumbling over words.

In total, the Caller’s analysis concluded that Biden flubbed the names or titles of individuals, places and groups 20 times from Jan. 1, 2024, to Apr. 24, 2024. Biden misrepresented the numbers of his accomplishments and often confused the difference between thousands, millions, billions and trillions, 12 times.

Trump Vows to Address Anti-White Racism

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Donald Trump has said there is “definite” racism against white people sweeping the United States and added that “that can’t be allowed.”

During a wide-ranging Apr. 30, 2024, interview with Time magazine that previously bragged about stealing the 2020 election, Trump, 77, was asked about polls that showed most of his supporters think “anti-white racism now represents a greater problem in the country than anti-black racism.”

“Oh, I think that there is a lot to be said about that. If you look at the Biden administration, they’re sort of against anybody depending on certain views. They’re against Catholics. They’re against a lot of different people. They actually don’t even know what they’re against, but they’re against a lot. But no, I think there is a definite anti-white feeling in this country and that can’t be allowed either,” Trump said.

When the interviewer asked Trump about how he plans to address the issue of blatant racism against white people, Trump said it won’t be a big problem.

“I don’t think it would be a very tough thing to address, frankly. But I think the laws are very unfair right now. And education is being very unfair, and it’s being stifled. But I don’t think it’s going to be a big problem at all. But if you look right now, there’s absolutely a bias against white and that’s a problem,” he said.

Despite leftists constantly whining about evil white people who oppress non-whites in every imaginable, the reality is polar opposite.

Aside from anecdotal examples of people exposing their racist beliefs in this society, there are also many examples of institutional oppression against white people that previously happened or even happening right now in the United States.

Leftists who hate white people pushed their beliefs into every institution of this country, with leftist politicians like Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Pentagon DEI officials, the Department of Education indoctrinators and United Nations’ globalists being the prime examples of that.

Private companies, like Google, also had a history of racism against white people.

Another institution where anti-white racism is heavily pushed is the educational system in the United States where white students, from kindergartens to graduate schools of “elite” and “respectable” Ivy League universities, are taught how to hate themselves.

Aside from being forced to have segregated graduation ceremonies, the only other way white students could separate themselves from non-white students was by going to a white-only seminar where they would be told about how horrible they were.

House Dems Rally to Rescue Johnson, Igniting ‘Democrat Speaker’ Moniker

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) House Democrats have thrown a lifeline to House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., amid escalating threats of a motion to vacate.

In a statement published Tuesday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries declared that his caucus would block any threats to oust Johnson as speaker. Johnson is currently facing calls to resign from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga.

“We will vote to table Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Motion to Vacate the Chair. If she invokes the motion, it will not succeed,” Jeffries said in a statement co-signed by Democratic Whip Katherine Clark and Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar.

House Democrats argued that their move to table the motion aimed to “turn the page of this chapter of Pro-Putin Republican obstruction,” following the passage of a $95 billion foreign aid package.

Central to the Greene-led threats against Johnson was his endorsement of the foreign aid package, which included a controversial $65 billion aid earmarked for Ukraine, currently at war with Russia.

Greene took to Twitter to lambast Johnson, branding him a “Democrat Speaker of the House.”

She added, “He should resign, switch parties, and continue voting for Biden’s open border invasion of America, endless wars, full term abortion on demand, trans agenda on children, warrantless spying on the American people, weaponizing government against President Trump and his supporters, and every other Democrat wishlist item he’s handed over.”

Despite opposition from Greene and other staunch conservatives, Johnson, alongside Democrats, passed the aid package while allocating no funds for the southern border.

In their statement, Democrats pointed to Johnson’s infamous role in passing the deal as their rationale for safeguarding his position.

“From the very beginning of this Congress, House Democrats have put people over politics and found bipartisan common ground with traditional Republicans in order to deliver real results,” they asserted. “At the same time, House Democrats have aggressively pushed back against MAGA extremism. We will continue to do just that.”

Earlier in their statement, Democrats accused Republicans of “irresponsibly delaying” the multi-billion-dollar foreign aid package.

“Thanks to a bipartisan coalition of Democrats and Republicans, led by President Biden, we were finally able to meet the national security needs of the American people,” they added.

With Democrats threatening to table the motion to vacate, it seems unlikely that such a motion would succeed.

Notably, Johnson’s predecessor, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., had hoped that Democrats would save him from a motion to vacate led by Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla.

Instead, Democrats, alongside 8 other Republicans, voted against McCarthy, precipitating an abrupt end to his speakership last year.

Stefanik Calls for Ethics Probe into Jack Smith for Attempted Election Interference

(Headline USA) Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., filed an ethics complaint against special counsel Jack Smith on Tuesday, asking the Justice Department to investigate him for violating the agency’s policies on election interference.

In a letter sent to the DOJ’s Office of Professional Responsibility, Stefanik accused Smith of “abusing the resources of the federal government to unlawfully interfere with the 2024 presidential election” by prosecuting former President Donald Trump.

Smith has filed charges against Trump in two separate cases, one for mishandling classified information, and the other for the former president’s alleged role in the Jan. 6, 2021, uprising at the U.S. Capitol.

Stefanik argued that Smith has used his authority as special counsel not just to bring the charges against Trump, but also in an effort to expedite the cases’ timelines.

“Jack Smith’s multiple attempts to rush to trial the federal January 6th case against President Trump violated long-standing, explicit Justice Department policy,” she wrote.

“Further, Jack Smith’s repeated violations of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia’s stay of proceedings are a lawless breach of trial ethics and lawyerly conduct,” she continued. “Jack Smith’s actions brought disrepute to the Justice Department and the federal government as a whole, and he should face discipline appropriately.”

Smith’s Jan. 6 case has been delayed as the Supreme Court weighs Trump’s argument that he is immune to criminal prosecution for actions taken while in the White House.

The high court’s hearing last week offered strong indications that it would be sent back down to the appellate level for further consideration, which likely means it would not be heard prior to the November election. If Trump wins, it thus has a strong chance of being dismissed altogether.

Smith has petitioned the justices multiple times to reject Trump’s immunity claims so he can move forward with the trial before the election.

Stefanik pointed out that even if the Supreme Court had not been asked to weigh in on the Jan. 6 case, Smith’s timeline still would have been unprecedented.

“There exist approximately thirteen million pages of discovery for President Trump to review, plus thousands of hours of camera footage,” she wrote.

“Prosecutors bringing a case of this complexity—with so many consequential and novel legal issues to sort out—would normally never seek to bring it to trial within five months,” she continued. “The only reason to push for such an early trial date was to work to get the case tried before the November election, and the Justice Department Manual clearly forbids Jack Smith from taking any action on that basis.”

Seinfeld Blames ‘Extreme Left’ And ‘PC Crap’ for Killing Comedy

(Headline USA) Comedian Jerry Seinfeld blasted the “extreme Left” and “PC crap” this week for killing comedy.

The stand-up comedian and Seinfeld creator made the comment during an appearance on the “New Yorker Radio Hour” podcast, arguing that many of the comedic television shows Americans came to know and love no longer exist in the same form.

“It used to be, you would get home at the end of the day, and most people would say, ‘Oh, Cheers is on. M*A*S*H is on. Mary Tyler Moore is on. All in the Family is on,’” Seinfeld said.

“‘You just expected, ‘There’ll be some funny stuff we can watch on TV tonight,’” he continued. “Well, guess what? Where is it?”

Seinfeld argued that comedy has been stifled by the Left’s social demands.

“This is the result of the extreme Left and PC crap, and people worrying so much about offending other people,” he explained. “When you write a script, and it goes into four or five different hands, committee groups—‘Here’s our thought about this joke’—well, that’s the end of your comedy.”

The comedian cited a joke in an episode of Seinfeld in which the character Kramer (portrayed by Michael Richards) decided to launch a business building rickshaws for homeless people because “they’re outside anyway.”

“Do you think I could get that episode on the air today?” Seinfeld asked. “We wouldn’t do that joke. We’d come up with another joke.”

Seinfeld has made headlines several times for confronting the woke mind virus. The famously Jewish entertainer was harassed by pro-Hamas activists during a stand-up show in Syracuse, N.Y. in December.

After he posted on his Instagram account a message of solidarity with Israel over the Oct. 7 terrorist attack, the activists ironically accused him of being “complicit in genocide.”

And a 2014 clip recently resurfaced in which Seinfeld brusquely dismissed Buzzfeed editor Peter Lauria after the latter attempted to confront him about the lack of diversity in his Netflix series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

“Yeah, let’s get into that,” the agitated Seinfeld responded, according to the New York Post.

“Take a look around, Peter, what do you see? A lotta whitey! What’s going on here?” he continued. “Oh, this really pisses me off, but go ahead. Really pisses me off.”

The legendary sitcom star now says he plans to be a part of the movement pushing back on political correctness.

“They move the gates, like in skiing,” he said of the Left. “Culture—the gates are moving. Your job is to be agile and clever enough that wherever they put the gates, ‘I’m gonna make the gate.’”

He also predicted that stand-up comedy is the future of the genre since it isn’t as heavily “policed” by leftist elites.

Nonetheless, it can have its perils, as Richards can attest.

Seinfeld’s costar saw his career come to an abrupt halt in 2006 after reacting poorly to a heckler during a stand-up segment with a two-minute rant that included five repetitions of the n-word. A video of the ill-fated show quickly went viral.
