Child-Sex Offender Cucked by Soros Eyes Political Comeback on New York City Council

(Headline USA) Former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner has filed to run for a seat on the New York City Council, launching a potential political comeback after the Democrat lawmaker’s once-promising career was destroyed by sexting scandals and later a criminal conviction for having illicit online contact with a child.

The scandal cost him his wife, Huma Abedin, who has since married Alexander Soros, the 39-year-old scion of leftist oligarch George Soros. The younger Soros is now overseeing the family business.

Weiner’s lewd exchanges also may have contributed to the downfall of Hillary Clinton after classified materials were found on his laptop, prompting the FBI to reopen its investigation into her ahead of the 2016 election. Abedin was Clinton’s personal assistant at the time and likely was the recipient of messages inappropriately sent and stored on Clinton’s private Chappaqua server, in violation of multiple federal laws.

Despite his notoriety, however, Weiner is now hoping to rise again.

Campaign finance records list a campaign committee that was set up on Friday for the convicted felon called Weiner 25, in addition to listing him as a candidate for a council seat in lower Manhattan.

In a phone conversation Tuesday with the Associated Press, Weiner said he was “still exploring” whether to actually campaign for the office. He said he opened the committee late last week so he could participate in a forum held by the Downtown Independent Democrats later this week.

He referred additional questions to recent statements he made on his weekly radio show, “The Middle with Anthony Weiner,” where he said: “I haven’t decided if I want to do this yet” while considering the personal dynamics of a return to politics.

On his show, Weiner has appeared to come to the defense of President-elect Donald Trump on several issues, suggesting that he would seek to position himself as a centrist candidate—likely a shrewed calculation considering the collateral damage he has inflicted on the Democrats.

He might be able to secure the Democrat nomination by persuading Republicans to vote for him, knowing that he will be a political lightning rod but more moderate than other alternatives.

Weiner represented a congressional district in New York City for about 12 years before he resigned in 2011 after sending lewd photos to several women.

He tried to make a comeback in 2013 to run for mayor but was damaged by new revelations of explicit photos Weiner had sent under the online alias “Carlos Danger.”

Weiner pleaded guilty in 2017 to having illicit online contact with a 15-year-old girl and was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison. He was released in 2019 and was ordered to register as a sex offender.

Ousted ‘Squad’ Rep. Dragged on X for Rant about Penny Acquittal

(Matt Lamb, Headline USA) An ousted “Squad” member spent one of his last days as an elected official ranting about the acquittal of Daniel Penny. But social media users quickly responded with their own criticism.

“Dear White People,” Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-NY, wrote on X yesterday.

“I don’t know why I feel the need to keep talking to you. I don’t know why part of me still has hope for you and for us,” Bowman wrote. “Some of you are too far gone. But maybe enough of you aren’t and will join us in fighting to end white supremacy.”

Bowman lost his primary race in June this year to George Latimer.

He made the comments criticizing the jury’s acquittal of Penny, who used a chokehold on Jordan Neely, a black man who was acting erratically on a New York subway train last year.

Bowman, who once pulled a fire alarm to disrupt a U.S. House meeting, wrote a lengthy thread that included his opinion, some facts, as well as a fictional retelling of racial history.

“The first Black man I saw violently attacked on camera was Rodney King. Those officers were acquitted,” he wrote. A Community Note on X helpfully points out that two officers were convicted.

“Jordan Neely is the latest. He was sick. He was not a threat,” Bowman said later in the thread. “He was subdued. Still not a threat. Daniel Penny choked him for 6 minutes. And killed him. We all watched it on camera, and he was still acquitted.”

Witnesses, include a “woman of color,” called Penny a “hero” for subduing Neely.

X users reminded Bowman that Neely had a troubled history.

“The system failed him when it didn’t put him in prison where he and the public would be safe,” Mike Osborne wrote.

“The absurdity of, ‘white supremacy,’ is if a white person went on the insane racist rant you just did they’d be socially ostracized, banned and fired from their job,” commentator Chad Felix Greene wrote. “An elected official doing this? It’d be 24/7 outrage news. You are privileged. You’re the supremacist.”

Black commentator Christy Kelly also criticized Bowman.

“What trauma is ‘deep in your bones’ – from the hands of white people? I’d really like to know,” she wrote.

“Is that the same trauma that made you ignorantly pull a fire alarm at your former place of employment,” she asked.

Bowman has a history of pushing radical views.

As a middle school principal, he included cop-killer Assata Shakur on the school’s “Wall of Honor.”

‘I will refuse to denounce,” he said, after saying he was teaching minority students about “black and Latino history.”

He also had to walk back comments dismissing claims that Hamas had raped women in Israel as part of its terrorist attack that began on Oct. 7, 2023.

Editor’s note: The author is a community note rater for X but did not contribute to any of the notes on Bowman’s posts.

Fox News Hosts Explain ‘The Five’ Panelist’s Absence

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) The Five co-hosts explained Tuesday why Fox News personality Greg Gutfeld had been absent for weeks from the 5 p.m. roundtable show and as host of his late-night comedy show.

During The Five’s “One More Thing” segment, co-host Dana Perino announced Gutfeld and his wife welcomed a baby girl named Mira.

“This is going to be a great surprise for a lot of you. You might have noticed that our friend, Greg Gutfeld, hasn’t been here for a couple of weeks and it’s been for a good reason,” Perino said.

She read aloud a statement from new father Gutfeld, which said the following in part: “It is with great joy that my wife, Elena, and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world. Mira is healthy with a real set of lungs.”

The comedian joked that his daughter asked about Jesse Watters’s hair.

“She has Elena’s beautiful eyes and my rock-hard abs. We are hard at work teaching her three languages and putting her through rigorous workout routine,” Gutfeld continued. “She is already very observant and has asked if Jesse wears a toupee. I told her that he definitely wears a wig.”

Gutfeld made clear that he and his wife value privacy during their major life change. He thanked those who wished him well.

The Five co-hosts congratulated Gutfeld, making lighthearted jokes about his paternity leave. Perino said she misses Gutfeld, while Jeanine Pirro noted the importance of spending time with newborn children.

“Some of us miss you. But some are enjoying the time without you,” Watters joked. “Take as long as you want!”

“[S]ee, that’s how you keep a secret,” Gutfeld wrote on X after The Five aired. “[T]hanks to all the nice words! See ya in a few!”

Later that night on Gutfeld!, guest host Kat Timpf led the show with news of the birth of Gutfeld’s daughter.

Gutfeld! regular Tyrus joked that 60 years old is the “best time” to have a child.

“Think about it! He’s financially set, you know, he values his time he’s got left,” he said, noting it’s a “great time to be a dad.”

Trump Shooter’s Dad Said He Noticed Son’s Declining Mental Health, Final Report Reveals

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The public still doesn’t know much about the 20-year-old man who shot Donald Trump’s ear at his July 13 campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania—but a report from the Task Force formed to investigate the shooting revealed more information about the alleged shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks’s mental state on Tuesday.

The House Task Force’s final report said the shooter’s father, Matthew Crooks, noticed his son’s declining mental health over the last year. The father and mother, Mary Crooks, are reportedly both licensed professional counselors, according to the Pennsylvania Social Work Board.

Matthew Crooks told law enforcement that his son’s mental health began to decline soon after he graduated community college.

“Crooks’ father explained that within the last year, he observed several instances of his son dancing in his bedroom throughout the night,” states a Pennsylvania State Police report, a small excerpt of which was included in the Task Force’s Tuesday final report.

“He would occasionally see Crooks talking to himself with his hands moving, which he expressed as uncommon and had become more prevalent after he had finished his last semester at Community College.”

Crooks’s father also told police that his son used illegal drugs and said Crooks was “not known to be prescribed to any medication,” the Task Force report said—an assertion supported by Crooks’s toxicology reports, which this publication exclusively obtained and published in October.

The Task Force’s final report is the first official source of Crooks’s declining mental health, though similar information about him was leaked to the media months ago.

CBS initially reported information about Crooks’s possible mental health disorders on July 18, citing sources from a private congressional briefing with federal law enforcement officials.

According to CBS, the FBI purportedly found more than 14,000 images on Crooks’ primary phone. Among those images was a screenshot of an online live feed of the July 13 rally, saved at 6:01 p.m.—just 10 minutes before he allegedly opened fire.

“He searched online in April about major depressive disorder. In the days after the rally was announced, he made searches related to Trump, President Biden, the former president’s whereabouts on July 13 and the Democratic National Convention,” CBS reported—indicating that Crooks may have been suffering from mental ailments.

Task Force member Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., said last week he thinks Crooks “went mad.”

Trump to Send Kimberly Guilfoyle Overseas amid Rumors of Split w/ Son

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) President-elect Donald Trump nominated Kimberly Guilfoyle as the U.S. ambassador to Greece late Tuesday amid rumors that her relationship with son Donald Trump Jr. has ended.

Although Donald Trump Jr. did not yet publicly confirmed a breakup with Guifoyle, to whom he was engaged for years, the incoming first son was spotted in photos shared by Daily Mail on Monday taking an intimate nighttime walk with socialite Bettina Anderson around Palm Beach.

Others outlets, including People magazine and the Daily Beast, picked up the story ahead of the president-elect’s announcement.

“For many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad.”

The relationship between Trump Jr., 46, and Anderson, 38, is reportedly an “open secret” in their Florida town.

The Daily Mail reported that the two spent two hours together in Buccan as part of Anderson’s birthday celebration, just three months after the outlet reported on their first seen outing at another Palm Beach restaurant.

Trump Jr. started dating Guilfoyle, 55, in mid-2019. The former co-host of Fox News’s The Five has been a loyal ally of the president-elect for years despite her prior marriage to Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif.

“Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation,” Trump wrote. “Congratulations Kimberly!”

As ambassador to Greece, Guilfoyle will likely live within the country she was appointed to represent, as ambassadors typically do. Therefore, Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle are expected to be separated by an ocean as the incoming first son pursues his new fling.

“I’m honored to accept President Trump’s nomination to serve as the next Ambassador to Greece and I look forward to earning the support of the U.S. Senate,” Guilfoyle wrote on X. “President Trump’s historic victory is bringing hope and optimism to the American people and to freedom-loving allies across the world.”

Trump Jr. congratulated Guilfoyle on X, writing, “I am so proud of Kimberly. She loves America and she always has wanted to serve the country as an Ambassador.  She will be an amazing leader for America First.”

Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle got engaged on Dec. 31, 2020. Nearly four years later, the two have still not tied the knot.

Sources familiar with the Trump family reportedly told the Daily Mail that Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle were “waiting until the inauguration” on Jan. 20, 2025 to announce their split.

Secret Service Agent Fired at Would-Be Trump Assassin 6 Times from Point-Blank Range—and Missed

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) In the wake of the second assassination attempt against Donald Trump that occurred on Sept. 15, a Secret Service agent who spotted the gunman and immediately fired at him was lauded for his quick reaction.

“The agent’s hyper-vigilance and the detail’s swift action was textbook,” Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe said at a press conference later that week.

While Trump’s agent may have reacted swiftly, he may not have been the best aim. According to the House Task Force investigating the Trump assassination attempts, the agent was as close as five feet away from alleged gunman Ryan Routh, and he fired six times at the suspect—missing them all.

“The agent first noticed the suspect, later identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, and then noticed the barrel of Routh’s gun sticking through the fence line. The special agent, who may have been as close as five feet away from Routh, immediately responded by firing shots toward the suspect,” states the Task Force’s final report, released Tuesday.

“It is believed six shots in total were fired; however, final ballistics are pending an ongoing FBI investigation.”

The Task Force’s report didn’t specify that all six shots were fired by the agent, but officials have said Routh never shot at Trump or the agent—implying that all the shots came from the agent.

Routh fled the scene in his vehicle and wasn’t apprehended for another 45 minutes in Martin County. Law enforcement was able to track him because a bystander photographed his license plate when he fled.

The proximity of Trump’s Secret Service agent to Routh was one of the Task Force’s only new factoids about the second assassination attempt. The report said the FBI and Secret Service haven’t provided records about the case.

“The Secret Service is continuing to conduct its mission assurance review of the assassination attempt in West Palm Beach, Florida, the contents of which have not been shared with the Task Force,” the report said.

“The FBI provided no documents in response to the Task Force’s request and provided only a single status briefing on September 25,” the report added.

Routh faces life in prison for his alleged attempt on Trump’s life. His lawyers want him to go to trial next December, while prosecutors want the trial to take place earlier.

Kerry Awards Himself Portrait after Squandering $32M as Climate Czar

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The Biden administration gave itself a parting gift by awarding former climate czar John Kerry his official portrait celebrating his tenure as secretary of state under the Obama-Biden administration.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken unveiled the portrait during a lavish reception in the Department of State’s Ben Franklin Room on Monday—nearly seven years after Kerry left the federal agency.

Blinken showered Kerry with over-the-top praise that ran contrary to reality: “For all this remarkable diplomatic work, for all the feats that he pulled off as Secretary, what’s equally inspiring, maybe more inspiring, is an enduring willingness to throw himself into causes that he believed in, even when the odds were long, even when it seemed impossible.”

Kerry similarly applauded himself, claiming he viewed his mission as secretary of state as always trying to “calm things down.” He made sure to pat outgoing President Joe Biden on the back for hiring him once again as his special presidential envoy for climate.

But while Monday’s ceremony aimed to whitewash Kerry’s scandal-plagued career, his actual record is far from admirable.

Republicans in Congress repeatedly tried to defund his role as climate czar, slamming it for its lack of accountability and transparency despite its immense power.

“Over the last several years, we have witnessed a boondoggle of climate change spending, and our bill provides a much needed course correction in several key areas,” Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla., said in 2023.

Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, echoed Diaz-Balart’s sentiments, even introducing legislation to defund Kerry’s office.

“Climate czar John Kerry is the poster child for the Biden administration’s anti-energy policies that are destroying both our economy and national security. … It’s time to defund anti-energy climate bureaucrats like John Kerry once and for all,” Roy said at the time.

Kerry’s office spent $16.7 million in tax dollars annually in 2022 and 2023 alone. According to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky, Kerry committed the U.S. to several climate agreements without Congress’s approval and with little to no supervision during this time.

To make matters worse, Kerry refused to unveil the names of the shadowy figures running his office.

“I have two deputies and they are well known, they’re very experienced people, Rick Duke and Sue Biniaz … but I’m not going to go through all that,” Kerry claimed during a House hearing in 2023. “I’m not going to fill them in here in this way, because that would be a violation of our process within the State Department.”

He added, “I’m not going to go through them by name because that is not the required process of the State Department.”

Kerry faced a scathing ethics complaint from Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT) for allegedly violating federal scientific integrity rules.

As reported by Fox News, the complaint was prompted after Kerry dubiously claimed, “15 million people are dying every single year around this planet as a consequence of greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere.”

PPT Director Michael Chamberlain rebuked Kerry’s inflated figures, saying this number appeared “to be a hysterical pronouncement of the most dangerous type.”

Chamberlain added, “It seems to have been made entirely without evidence – a phrase the American public frequently heard when evaluating statements from the previous administration – and designed to frighten the public to advance a political agenda.”

Democrat Who Lost Re-Election Exposed as Leaker Behind Gaetz Smears

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A defeated Democratic congresswoman has been exposed as the alleged leaker behind a smear campaign against former Rep. Matt Gaetz, whom President-elect Donald Trump had chosen to be his attorney general.

Rep. Susan Wild, D-Pa., the top Democrat on the House Ethics Committee formerly investigating Gaetz, has been identified as the individual behind the countless media hits that ultimately thwarted Gaetz’s nomination to be AG.

The Hill first reported on Wild’s role in the leaks on Monday. She is set to leave Congress in January after losing her seat to Ryan Mackenzie, a Republican state representative. Mackenzie won the seat by 5,000 votes.

As reported by the outlet, two anonymous sources claim Wild admitted to funneling private information to the media. She was notably absent from the Ethics Committee’s meeting last week, though it remains unclear if her absence was voluntary or tied to her exposure as the leaker.

It is unclear whether Wild will preside over future meetings before her term expires. House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., called on Wild to be reprimanded for her leaks, which appeared to be an ironic and grave violation of the Ethics Committee rules.

“In my opinion, there ought to be repercussions for that,” Johnson said on Tuesday, according to Axios. “We can’t set that as a precedent. It’s dangerous.”

Gaetz echoed Johnson’s sentiments via X: “Wild leaked false allegations about me which were so unfounded that they were rejected by the Biden DOJ.” He also pointed out that Wild was “rejected by her own voters in November,” while he won re-election with two-thirds of the vote.

Gaetz, a Republican firebrand who represented Florida’s 1st Congressional District since 2017, resigned after Trump announced his intent to nominate him as attorney general.

Gaetz later withdrew his name from consideration after reports suggested he lacked the votes for confirmation in the Republican-led Senate. This withdrawal followed smear campaigns fueled by the House Ethics Committee’s investigation into his alleged ties to sex trafficking.

Gaetz was never charged with any wrongdoing. Despite this, the House Ethics Committee pursued a years-long investigation that only intensified after he led Kevin McCarthy’s ouster as House speaker.

McCarthy has since claimed Gaetz orchestrated his ouster because McCarthy refused to shut down the Ethics Committee’s investigation.

Matt Gaetz to Host His Own OAN Show

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Former Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., recently announced that he would have his show on One America News.

OAN wrote in its public statement that “powerhouse Matt Gaetz will be joining OAN’s prime-time lineup in January” to host a one-hour political talk show every weeknight.

“Mr. Gaetz’s program, branded The Matt Gaetz Show, is scheduled to air in the coveted time slot of 6 p.m. Pacific, 9 p.m. Eastern every weeknight. With Gaetz rounding out OAN’s prime-time lineup, the network is poised for a groundbreaking 2025, reaffirming its mission to deliver credible, independent news and unfiltered commentary to audiences across the nation,” OAN stated.

Gaetz also talked about how excited he is about joining the OAN team.

“OAN is blazing a trail in media, embracing not just traditional news but the platforms where Americans are going—streaming, apps, podcasts and social media. I couldn’t be more thrilled to join OAN’s forward-thinking team and be part of this revolutionary expansion,” he said.

Gaetz also assured his supporters that OAN will have “the best reporting, analysis, and in-depth coverage of the Trump administration.”

OAN President Charles Herring also released a statement praising Gaetz, calling him a “remarkable talent and a principled leader.”

“His insider access to America’s top policymakers and unwavering dedication to America-first values will bring unparalleled insight and exclusive content to OAN viewers. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the OAN family,” he said.

Host of Real America with Dan Ball Dan Ball also said that people at OAN have been “big fans of [Gaetz] from day one.”

“We admire his leadership and authenticity, and we’re confident he’ll really connect with our viewers. It’s an exciting partnership that’s going to take OAN to the next level,” he said.

Gaetz’s supporters, however, said that they were not satisfied with the recent news. In the comments section under one of the posts by Gaetz’s wife, Ginger, they claimed that Gaetz is “wasted” on OAN because nobody watches TV anymore since everybody gets their news on Twitter and other social media platforms.

The recent news came after President-elect Donald Trump nominated Gaetz for Attorney General. However, soon after facing the backlash, Gaetz withdrew his nomination and also left his Congressional job. Trump then nominated a trusted campaign surrogate and former White House legal adviser, Pam Bondi, for the job.

After that, people started assuming that Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., may make Gaetz a senator as a replacement for Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. Others also thought that Gaetz may run for Florida governor in 2026.

TIME Mag. May Choose Kamala Over Trump for Person of Year

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Time magazine recently revealed the list of people who may become the Person of the Year 2024.

Among them was former Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, meaning the leftist publication could choose her over President-elect Donald Trump.

“Since 1927, TIME has named a person, group, or concept that had the biggest impact—for good or ill—on the world. See the shortlist for TIME’s Person of the Year 2024,” the publication stated on Twitter.

The article also listed the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, multi-billionaire Elon Musk, the wife of Russian dissident Alexei Navalny, Yulia Navalnaya, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve Jerome Powell, podcaster Joe Rogan, Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum, Trump, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Trump was listed second to last on the list. In addition, Time also claimed that the politician lost the 2020 election and will become the oldest president in the country’s history, allegedly with a criminal record.

On the other hand, the magazine portrayed Harris only positively, failing to point out that nobody voted for her and that she lost all battleground states, including those that Biden allegedly won.

Conservatives criticized Time for the blatant anti-Trump bias on Twitter.

“Some of Harris’s accomplishments in 2024 include becoming the [Democratic] candidate with no votes and losing the 2024 election while spending $1.5B,” co-owner of Trending Politics Colin Rugg wrote.

Other conservatives pointed out that the only person who should be on the cover of the magazine is Trump.

“Time Magazine considering picking Kamala Harris, who accomplished nothing, as ‘Person of The Year’ is completely absurd. Donald Trump, with the greatest comeback in American history, is not only person of the year, he’s person of the century,” @Craftmastah wrote.

Conservative commentator Paul A. Szypula also criticized the magazine for even considering Harris to be the 2024 Person of the Year “after she just lost both the electoral and popular vote to Trump.”

Others continued pointing out the alleged absurdity of Harris being considered for the magazine’s cover.

“Trump avoided assassination by turning his head at the very last second, produced one of the most iconic political photos of all time, and then was elected in historic fashion sweeping every swing state… But sure, Kamala is Person of the Year,” @Geiger_Capital wrote.
