NYC Cathedral Holds ‘Mass of Reparation’ to Atone for Sacreligious Tranny Funeral

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) New York City’s iconic St. Patrick’s Cathedral was compelled to atone after transgender activists took over the church last week and held a sacreligious ceremony, Breitbart reported.

More than 1,000 mourners from the LGBT community converged on the cathedral for the Feb. 15 funeral mass commemorating transgender activist Cecilia Gentili, a left-wing atheist.

The rector of the cathedral, Father Enrique Salvo, claimed afterwards that the activists had misled him when they asked to use the church for a funeral for a deceased Catholic, and issued a statement condemning the blasphemous ruse.

“Thanks to so many who have let us know they share our outrage over the scandalous behavior at a funeral here at St. Patrick’s Cathedral earlier this week,” he wrote.

“The Cathedral only knew that family and friends were requesting a funeral Mass for a Catholic, and had no idea our welcome and prayer would be degraded in such a sacrilegious and deceptive way.”

The transgender mob went so far as to place an image of Gentili with a halo surrounded by the Spanish words for “whore,” “transvestite,” “blessed” and “mother” at the foot of the sacred altar.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue condemned the service, noting that the church was defiled by the cross-dressers, who danced in church aisles and desecrated holy music.

“At the service, many of those in attendance dressed as hookers, danced in the aisles, sang ‘Ave Cecilia’ when ‘Ave Maria’ was sung, and shouted, ‘St. Cecilia, Mother of All Whores,’” he wrote.

All of this was permitted by the presiding Father Edward Dougherty, who went so far as to refer to Gentili as a “she,” thereby affirming the deceased’s non-biological “gender identity.”

The Archdiocese of New York also condemned the service, and Cardinal Timothy Dolan, archbishop of New York, ordered the mass of reparation to atone for the farcical event.

‘Dukes of Hazzard’ Star Called Racist for Criticizing Beyoncé’s Cultural Appropriation

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider was condemned as a racist for daring to mock R&B star Beyoncé Knowles’s attempt to venture into country music, the Daily Mail reported.

The former Destiny’s Child singer released her first “country” song, called Texas Hold ‘Em, during the Super Bowl.

Alongside this release, her studio announced the upcoming release of Beyoncé’s eighth album, which will reportedly feature even more country-style songs.

Schneider—who famously portrayed Bo Duke on the iconic 1980s TV show celebrating Southern culture—has also had a prodigious recording career that includes a No. 1 country album (1985’s A Memory Like You) and four singles that reached No. 1 on the Billboard country charts between 1984 and 1986.

He continues to produce both music and movies from his Louisiana home studio, about 30 miles east of Baton Rouge. His latest musical project is the forthcoming We’re Still Us, which appears to pay tribute to his late wife, Alicia Allain, who died of breast cancer last year at the age of 53.

The outspoken conservative commentator made his comment about Beyoncé’s genre switch in a recent appearance on One America News, during which he was asked about leftist artists appropriating traditionally rural and conservative art forms for their own ends.

“The lefties in the entertainment industry just won’t leave any area alone, right?” Schneider remarked.

“They’ve got to make their mark, just like a dog in a dog-walk park,” he added. “You know, every dog has to mark every tree, right? So that’s what’s going on here.”

Naturally, Schneider’s remarks triggered leftists, a number of whom called him a racist.

Ron Filipkowski, the editor of the far-left propaganda site Meidas Touch, tweeted out the video, eliciting an array of angry responses from his unhinged followers.

“He’s a bit of a racist as well,” tweeted University of Colorado professor Jim Hagman.

Oregon musician Ruben Michaels called Schneider’s comments “[w]hite supremacy gone wild.”

Other Beyoncé fans were more extreme in their rhetoric.

“Don’t open ur mouth to speak on her again,” one fan wrote, while another said that Schneider was disqualified from speaking in public: “You know you canceled, right?”

Meghan Markle’s Ex-Costar Blames ‘Terrible and Foul’ Smell for Photo at Royal Wedding

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) According to several witnesses, something was rotten in the county of Sussex during Prince Harry’s 2018 wedding to Meghan Markle.

In a recent appearance on the Chicks in the Office podcast, Rick Hoffman, Markle’s former Suits co-star, claimed there was a “really terrible and foul” smell at the royal wedding for the future duke and duchess of Sussex, the Daily Mail reported.

Hoffman, who starred as Louis Marlowe Litt on the legal drama, was responding to pictures of himself that went viral immediately after the ceremony.

“As time goes on I’m starting to smell something really terrible and foul, and I’m very sensitive when it comes to that, so I start to try to do this,” he said, covering his nose with his hand, “because I have like a coconut vanilla moisturizer to try to cut it.”

Hoffman reportedly assumed that the smell was someone’s bad breath. But he was not the only one who reported stink in St. George’s Chapel on the Sussex’s wedding day.

Royal biographers Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand claimed in their book, Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, that wedding planners tried to mask the reek with diffusers before the ceremony. Whatever they used was not enough to stifle the scent completely, at least not for Hoffman.

“If you type my name into Google you see [me] making that awful face,” he added.

Hoffman added that on the set of Suits, Markle would laugh at him for his sensitivity to other people’s hygiene.

“She always knew and would always laugh about how I was so sensitive,” he said on the podcast. “It was just so ironic.”

Reports indicated that Markle isolated herself from the rest of the Suits cast, possibly to orient her attention to her litany of failed projects and deals.

In the last year, Prince Harry and Markle were mocked on South Park, dropped from their $20 million Spotify deal and axed from Netflix due to low ratings.

White Nationalists Still Facing Federal Charges over 2017 Charlottesville Rally

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) More than six years after the fact, white nationalists Robert Rundo and Robert Boman are still facing federal charges stemming from the 2017 Charlottesville Unite the Right rally—even though they didn’t attend that event.

Rundo, Boman and Tyler Laube—all members of the white nationalist Rise Above Movement, or RAM—were first charged with planning and engaging in riots at political rallies in 2018. A federal district court dismissed the charges in 2019, finding that the federal Anti-Riot Act violated the First Amendment. However, the Ninth Circuit Appeals Court reversed the decision in 2021 and the charges were reinstated.

Rundo, the lead defendant, was just extradited to the U.S. from Romania last August, and has been held in prison ahead of his trial, which is currently set for next month. Laube, meanwhile, struck a plea deal last September and is set to be sentenced March 4.

While the defendants admittedly participated in violence at political rallies in California, none of them even attended the Charlottesville event. The Justice Department nevertheless included Charlottesville-related allegations in its indictment against the three men on the grounds that other RAM members attended the Unite the Right rally.

Last month, Rundo’s attorneys filed a motion to strike mentions of Charlottesville from his indictment.

“None of the defendants in this case attended the Charlottesville rally, and the alleged RAM members who did attend have already been federally prosecuted in the district where that rally occurred,” Rundo’s motion said.

“The FSI nowhere alleges that defendants specifically entered an agreement to riot in Charlottesville or to aid or abet any other person to do so. The inclusion of the Charlottesville rally, then, seems designed to inflame the passions of the jury and prejudice them against the defendants in Southern California.”

Rundo also has filed a motion to dismiss his charges on selective-prosecution grounds. According to that motion, he and the other two defendants are the first people in decades to be charged in the Ninth Circuit with the Anti-Riot Act, or ARA, which makes it a crime to use interstate travel or communications to plan a riot.

“As far as the defense can tell, in the last 20 years, this is the only ARA case in the Ninth Circuit. Nationally, before this case and based on the information available, the defense can only identify eight ARA cases over the previous 51 years,” Rundo’s motion said.

“Since this case and its related case in Virginia, there has been a proliferation of ARA charges across the nation. In only five years, at least 23 ARA cases were charged across the country, an increase of over three times as many such cases in a tenth of the time. Still, none of these cases appear to charge a member of Antifa, BAMN, or any other ‘far left’ group for misconduct in protesting conservative political rallies,” the motion added.

The DOJ, for its part, has opposed both Rundo’s motion to dismiss as well as his motion to strike the Charlottesville-related allegations.

Responding to the motion to strike, the DOJ said in a Feb. 5 filing that the defendants still conspired to riot at Charlottesville—even though they weren’t at the event.

The DOJ argued that even though Rundo wasn’t there, “a defendant need not personally commit the overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy [to be guilty of conspiracy] so long as one of the coconspirators did so.”

“Rundo and his co-conspirators continued to prepare for violence leading up to the Charlottesville event, and that his co-conspirators and RAM followers carried out violence at that event in the name of RAM,” the DOJ said.

“Indeed … the government intends to present evidence at trial that defendant Rundo contemplated attending the Charlottesville event with other RAM members and then specifically directed another RAM member to document RAM members’ actions at the event.”

A judge has yet to rule on Rundo’s motions. Rundo and Boman are set to go to trial on March 26.

What Will It Take for Metals to Break Higher?

(Clint Siegner, Money Metals News Service) Gold and silver prices remain range bound and investors are frustrated. Precious metal mining shares have been drifting lower for years. The GDXJ, an index of junior mining companies, is at the lowest level seen since the depth of the COVID sell-off in early 2020.

Bullion has outperformed the mining share indexes, but sentiment in the physical markets has still suffered. In order to get higher metal prices, the sector is going to need more love and less hate from investors.

Let’s examine some of the events which could get prices moving – either higher, or lower.

The first is the much-anticipated Fed pivot back toward lower rates and easier monetary policy.

Jerome Powell and the FOMC have been able to hold rates higher for longer than many anticipated.

They have been given extraordinary cover by strong performance in the stock markets and almost unbelievable government economic data. Reports on employment and GDP seem almost disconnected from reality.

The data paint a suspiciously rosy picture, which doesn’t seem to match the lived experience of most Americans. It has, however, been enough to keep investors from hitting the sell button for stocks.

The narrative that all is well with the US economy is getting a bit harder to maintain. There are plenty of voices warning about an impending recession. That said, it is an election year and no doubt the bureaucrats behind the economic data are getting pressure to keep the story going.

If recession fears win out and sustained selling finally hits the stock markets, the political pressure on Powell and the FOMC will be enormous.

Should they pivot, the move should weaken the US dollar in foreign exchange markets and, at long last, that foot could be lifted from the neck of metal prices.

Another potential catalyst for gold and silver prices is round two of the commercial real estate crisis in U.S. banks. The Fed’s Bank Term Funding Program, which allows banks to borrow against their inventory or underwater bonds at 100% of par value, is scheduled to end in March.

The conditions which necessitated the bailout program, have worsened over the past year rather than improved.

Troubles in the commercial real estate sector are still growing and the unrealized losses in the bond portfolios and bank balance sheets are still there.

Small and regional banks stocks have begun moving lower once again, in anticipation of the program’s end.

If what happened in round one of the crisis is a guide, demand for gold and silver will spike as at least some depositors look for an alternative place to park some of their savings.

Metals prices might also respond if kinetic war should break out with Russia, China, and/or Iran.

Presidential politics may also serve as a driver for metals prices. The election of Donald Trump proved to be a curb on retail demand for gold and silver in 2016. Bullion investors skew conservative, and many believed Trump would solve a lot of problems. Demand for metal as a safe haven fell.

The same phenomenon is probably having some impact on demand today. Trump is rising in the polls, and Biden has been falling. While demand for bullion is above 2016 levels, it has fallen significantly in recent months.

Another catalyst to consider is price action itself. If metals can decisively break out of the price range where they have been mired for the past few years, the improved technicals and change of trend will draw some attention.

Such a breakout might involve another catalyst, such as a pivot at the Federal Reserve, but that isn’t required. Few things can lure speculators back into the market like higher prices.

Speculators have been building a heavy short position in recent months. They won’t go long and commit to a position there until silver breaks above $30 and gold pushes through, and holds, above $2100. Preferably, both metals would break overhead resistance together and thereby confirm each other’s move.

Chinese Wholesale Gold Demand Sets January Record

(Mike Maharrey, Money Metals News Service) Chinese gold demand kicked off 2024 with a bang. Wholesale gold demand set a record in January. Meanwhile, assets under management by Chinese gold ETFs reached an all-time high.

China ranks as the world’s top gold consumer, and Chinese demand has a significant impact on the global gold market.

Gold withdrawals from the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) hit 271 tons in January, the highest level on record. It was a 95 percent increase compared to a tepid 2023 and a 65 percent increase month-on-month.

Withdraws from the SGE represent wholesale gold demand in China.

January is typically a strong month for gold demand in China with retailers restocking ahead of the Chinese New Year.

According to the World Gold Council, the high level of gold withdraws from the SGE “reflected its positive outlook on gold demand around the CNY holiday.”

As local assets including equities and properties saw weak performances, the strong RMB gold price performances in recent months attracted investors who sought safe-haven assets. And this led to continued popularity of gold bars and coins, resulting in manufacturer and commercial banks’ vibrant replenishment for the CNY holiday.

Gold also got a boost from the sale of “Year of the Dragon” themed jewelry. It is often considered auspicious and has helped support broader Chinese jewelry sales.

While the price of gold in dollar terms fell in January, in yuan (RMB) terms, it remained steady due to RMB weakness. Gold’s performance in the Chinese currency lagged behind global stocks, according to the World Gold Council, but it outperformed Chinese equities and commodities.

This should remind local investors of the benefit of diversifying their portfolios with gold, which has low correlations with Chinese assets.

Gold charted a 17 percent increase in yuan terms in 2023 and ranked as the second best-performing asset class in China.

Strong gold demand drove the price premium higher in China last month. It averaged $47 per ounce (2.2 percent), a $9 per month-on-month increase. That is to say, Chinese investors paid an average of $47 over the average international benchmark spot price and this was an average of $9 per month increase.

Due to strong demand coupled with a stable gold price, assets under management by Chinese-based gold ETFs rose by $113 million to $4 billion in January. An all-time high.

Inflows of gold into China-based funds totaled 1.6 tons in January, bringing the total to 63 tons.

Safe-haven demand drove investors into gold as Chinese equities sagged for the seventh straight month and the yuan weakened.

Gold ETFs are funds traded on the market like stocks that are backed by physical gold held by the issuer. In effect, investors can take advantage of the price movements in gold without buying, selling, or storing physical metal. Since the purchase is nothing but a number in a computer, investors can quickly convert their holdings into stocks or cash whenever they want, even multiple times on the same day. Many speculative investors appreciate the liquidity of trading ETFs.

ETFs can make up part of a good investment strategy, but they aren’t a substitute for owning physical gold either in your personal possession or held in a trusted, secure storage facility.

Russian Hoaxer Clinton Claims Trump, Not Her, Is ‘Enamored’ w/ Putin

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who has long maintained that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election, asserted that former President Donald Trump is “enamored” with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In a Friday interview on PBS’s Amanpour and Company, Clinton seemed to attribute the failure of the Senate bill, aimed at providing Ukraine with a $60 billion aid package, to Trump, rather than to growing American skepticism toward foreign aid.

Clinton claimed House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., is “doing Donald Trump’s business” by blocking the Senate foreign aid bill. “Why is Donald Trump so enamored of Putin?” Clinton rhetorically asked. She then offered her answer with an unsubstantiated claim: “He’s a wannabe dictator. He has told us that repeatedly.”

Clinton’s remarks come as the Republican-led House opposes the Senate bill, which includes provisions for a significant aid package for Ukraine, along with future investments in weapons.

While the bill doesn’t allocate the total amount in direct cash to Ukraine, House Republicans argue against it, contending that the pressing issue of unprecedented illegal immigration at the U.S. southern border should be addressed before committing to investments in foreign borders.

“If this bill from the Senate were ever put on the floor of the House, it would pass,” Clinton claimed, without evidence. “It would pass overwhelmingly because the people who are preventing it, starting with the speaker, Mike Johnson are not doing America’s business.”

In contrast, Trump, currently seeking the Republican nomination for president, proposed issuing the aid as a form of a loan. “They want to give them $60 billion more,” Trump said on Wednesday. “Do it this way. Loan them the money. If they can make it, they pay us back. If they can’t make it, they don’t have to pay us back.”

Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election to Trump. Since then, she has consistently appeared on national television claiming, without evidence, that Trump won the election because of Russian assistance.

She faced social media mockery last month after posting screenshots of election predictions showing her as the winner.

Mayor Says Calling Accused Kansas City Shooters ‘Thugs’ Is Racist

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, a Democrat, lectured Missouri Gov. Mike Parson, a Republican, for rebuking the individuals accused of perpetrating a shooting at a Kansas City Chiefs parade as “thugs,” claiming that such a term is a racial “dog whistle” against the black individuals.

“I certainly do think this was criminal activity, it’s lawlessness and I think that that’s troubling – but ‘thugs’ is a dog whistle in the most classic sense and I have seen this dog whistle time and again,” Lucas said during an interview with NPR-affiliated KCUR.

According to the Kansas City Star, the Democrat mayor’s comments came in response to the Republican governor’s remarks about the two black individuals involved in a dispute at a Super Bowl parade, resulting in gunfire that tragically claimed the life of a beloved mother and renowned DJ, with twenty-two others sustaining injuries.

During an interview on local radio station KCMO Talk Radio, Parson condemned the heinous actions of those responsible for the shooting.

“You just got some absolutely, be careful what I say before I say something I’m gonna probably regret, but just a bunch of criminals, thugs out there, just killing people at an incident like that and attempting to kill all those people and created such chaos that people got hurt, being trampled,” Parson said on Thursday.

Local authorities arrested two teenagers on Friday in connection with the shooting. The unidentified teens remain in custody and could face additional charges, as indicated by a spokesperson for the Office of the Juvenile Officer in Jackson County, MO, who spoke to the New York Times.

The individuals may later be charged as adults pending the investigation. In the meantime, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker stated that her office is collaborating with juvenile court officers, who function as de facto prosecutors for underage individuals in Missouri, according to the Times.

“Though we do not oversee or supervise the juvenile officers, we work closely with them,” Baker said in a statement. “We expect to be at future hearings regarding theses [sic] individuals who were charged today in Family Court. We will continue to work closely with all authorities as the investigation continues.”

Truckers Boycott N.Y. after Trump’s $355M Fine in Fishing Expedition

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) The hashtag #TruckersForTrump was trending on Twitter with more than 70,000 posts on Monday following Judge Arthur Engoron’s outrageous $355 million verdict against former President Donald Trump in a trial that many regarded as little more than the fulfillment of a campaign promise from Democrat state Attorney General Letitia James.

Trump’s legal team has signaled that it plans to appeal Engoron’s decision in the trial—for which he had predetermined Trump’s guilt and wildly undervalued the assessments on Trump’s properties based on his own arbitrary calculations.

The judge’s bizarre conduct at various points during the trial—including the revelations that he had sent nude photos of himself to a high school alumni group—further raised questions as to whether the declaration of a mistrial may be in order.

Yet, in the aftermath of an earlier perversion of justice in the defamation trial of E. Jean Carroll, by another leftist judge who had failed to disclose his chummy relationship with the plaintiff’s two attorneys, many Americans were saying enough is enough and putting the entire state of New York on notice that it will be held accountable for its corrupt judiciary.

As with several recent boycotts—including the vaccine-mandate protests and, more recently, a show of solidarity with Texas over its border-security standoff with the federal government—truckers appeared to be leading the charge.

A Trump-supporting Twitter user going by @Chicago1Ray became the latest social-media star after a video he posted on Friday, in reaction to Engoron’s decision, went viral.

“I’ve talked to at least 10 drivers—they’re going to start refusing loads in New York City starting Monday,” Ray said in the video, according to the Daily Mail.

“I don’t know how far across the country this is, or how many truckers are going to start denying loads to New York City,” he continued. “I tell you what, you f**k around and find out. We are tired of you leftists f**king with Trump. Motherf**kers are getting tired of this s**t.”

Ray said the decision to avoid New York was even likely to save money for trucking companies, given the exorbitant cost of doing business in the Empire State.

“Our bosses ain’t gonna care about these loads, we will just go somewhere else,” he said. “Do you know how f**king hard it is to get into New York City with one of these?”

On top of the tolls already associated with accessing the city via popular, high-traffic corridors such as the New Jersey Turnpike and Lincoln Tunnel, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul recently announced a so-called congestion-pricing model that would charge large trucks an additional $36 just to enter Manhattan.

Yet, Ray argued that truckers stood with Trump regardless, as did many blue-collar people who were fed up with the elite leftist Establishment’s attempts to use power, wealth and privilege to disfranchise working-class Americans in the 2024 election using lawfare and other anti-democratic tactics.

“I don’t wish nothing on nobody, but what I am hearing, this is real,” he said in the video.

“We will see, leave Trump the f**k alone with the bulls**t. It’s election interference,” he continued. “I hate to say it, but truckers are for Trump. Ain’t no motherf**kers are for Biden.”

Based on the response, it seemed that many others agreed.

“Do it! Let us know how we can help!” wrote Twitter user Philip Bergen. “You’re NOT alone in this fight!”

“We can always rely on the ‘Trucker’ to restore some semblance of ‘the right thing’ in response,” wrote user Marvin Davis. “Thank You from the many here on “X” for your courage to stand up to the Marxist leftists …”

On Saturday, former President Donald Trump himself reposted the Chicago-based trucker’s video on his Truth Social account.

Trump also argued during a speech in Waterford Township, Mich., on Saturday night that even though union bosses may have thrown their backing to Biden, many of the union workers in the auto industry and elsewhere were planning to support him, which could prove to be a major game-changer in the battleground state.

“If we win Michigan, we win the election,” Trump said, according to the Detroit Free Press.

And while truckers may be planning to boycott the Big Apple, Trump himself is not, seeing an opportunity to flip the notoriously hostile territory, which also happens to be his old home turf.

In a recent interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, Trump signaled that he saw New York as being fair game, due to the growing malaise over leftist policies—most notably, the Biden administration’s open-border crisis and the skyrocketing crime rates courtesy of George Soros-backed prosecutors like Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, whose own dubious criminal trial against Trump is currently scheduled to begin on March 25.

“Nobody can believe what’s happened to New York,” Trump said in the Feb. 4 Sunday Morning Futures appearance. “The people of New York are angry—people that would have never voted for me because I’m a Republican.”

It was not immediately clear what impact the trucker boycott would have on those transporting busloads of illegals from border states to their final destinations in New York.

Biden WH Drags Mayorkas Like a Rag Doll, Once Considered Removal

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) An in-depth profile published Saturday by the New Yorker has illuminated the Biden White House’s negative perception of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who stands as the first cabinet member impeached by the House since 1876.

Citing a source close to Mayorkas, the damning profile alleged that President Biden would “blanch” whenever encountering Mayorkas, with former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain even suggesting getting rid of him.

The White House dismissed the reporting as false, claiming through a spokesperson that Biden and Mayorkas “have a good relationship.” Similarly, Klain claimed he never suggested firing Mayorkas. “I consider Ali a friend and a dedicated public servant,” he said.

In a 214-213 vote, House Republicans impeached Mayorkas over his alleged refusal to comply with federal immigration law and purported lies to Congress about the southern border’s security, contradicting DHS’s own data revealing unprecedented border crossings.

But Immigration stands as just one of the numerous scandals rocking Biden’s already shady re-election efforts. Impeachment and mishandling of classified documents are among these scandals, with Biden seemingly blaming everyone but himself.

The New Yorker’s report specifically illustrates how Biden appeared to shift blame for his political downfalls onto his cabinet secretaries.

Recently, several reports highlighted a strained relationship between Attorney General Merrick Garland and Biden after Special Counsel Robert Hur issued a politically damning report on Biden’s mishandling of classified documents.

The report questioned Biden’s memory, suggesting that in a hypothetical trial, Biden would present himself as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Such an illusion might dissuade a jury from convicting Biden of a potential crime, the report insinuated.

As a result, several reports indicate that Mayorkas may not be brought back for a potential second term under Biden.
