Trump Assassin Had Grisly ‘Diversion’ Plan to Escape Scene

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Newly released information reveals the details of failed assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks’s gruesome plan to escape the crime scene if his attempt had succeeded.

House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul, R-Texas, revealed on Sunday that Crooks planned to use explosives as a “diversion” to escape the shooting scene.

“What’s interesting … is that he had a detonation device on him and two bombs in the car,” McCaul said during an interview with CBS News host Robert Costa on Face the Nation.

“What his plan was, was to assassinate the president, create a diversion by blowing up his vehicle on the other side of the property and then he could escape,” McCaul added.

On July 13, Crooks climbed onto the roof of a building adjacent to a large Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he attempted to assassinate the former president.

Although Crooks only grazed Trump’s right ear, he fatally shot Corey Comperatore, a former fire chief and beloved father and husband. Crooks was killed on the scene.

FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed on Wednesday that Crooks used a drone to survey the rally before it began and had explosive devices in his vehicle.

“The FBI lab is exploring those explosive devices and there were. We recovered three devices. Two in his vehicle and one back in his residence,” Wray told the House Judiciary Committee.

During the CBS News interview, McCaul described the attempted assassination as a significant security lapse but expressed confidence that a report will be published by the end of the year. This report is expected to outline how the Secret Service and local law enforcement failed to protect Trump that day.

McCaul also expressed confidence in the Secret Service’s ability to protect Trump from future threats but was critical of its director, Kimberly Cheatle, who resigned following bipartisan calls for her removal.

Trump has since vowed to return to Butler. “No one can ever be allowed to stop or impede free speech or gathering,” he stated in a Saturday Truth Social post.

Biden Mouthpiece Apologizes to Gold Star Families… Will He Be Next

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki walked back her defense of President Joe Biden after he was caught looking at his watch during a solemn ceremony for the 13 American servicemen killed in the disastrous 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Psaki testified before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Friday, where she agreed to apologize to the Gold Star families for falsely claiming in her book that Biden never looked at his watch.

Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla., announced Psaki’s plan to apologize in a statement on Twitter, writing, “This isn’t a partisan or gotcha moment. This is the right thing to do as fellow Americans and I pray she follows through.”

On Fox News’s Fox & Friends Weekend, Waltz recounted how Psaki agreed to apologize. “At first her explanation was that she didn’t intend to contradict the parents,” Waltz said, referring to Psaki’s 2024 book, Say More: Lessons from Work, the White House, and the World.

In the book, she claimed that Biden “looked at his watch only after the ceremony had ended. Moments later, he and the First Lady headed toward their car.”

These claims contradict the fact that Biden looked at his watch while the caskets of the servicemen were being transferred from airplanes to buses.

“More than two years after Afghanistan, Jen Psaki finally admitted she was wrong about Biden not checking his watch during the transfer of our fallen heroes of the withdrawal,” Waltz said. “I hope that she personally apologizes to the Gold Star families she disrespected.”

Psaki served as press secretary from January 2021 to May 2022 and now hosts a show on MSNBC.

While some may consider Psaki’s apology a step towards accountability, Biden has repeatedly disrespected Gold Star families.

During the infamous CNN debate on June 27, Biden claimed he had not had a single serviceman die during his tenure. The Gold Star parents scolded Biden over this demonstrably fake claim.

“It’s always an excuse, but the reality is that these 13 died, and many more were injured, and 180 Afghans died at that moment,” Christy Shamblin, the mother-in-law of Sgt. Nicole Gee, who died in Kabul. “This was supposed to be a peacekeeping mission and evacuation. Our kids weren’t there at war, and he couldn’t even bring them home – couldn’t get that right.”

During Biden’s 2024 State of the Union address on March 7, federal law enforcement officers arrested Gold Star father Steve Nikoui after he protested Biden’s speech.

“Abbey Gate, Abbey Gate,” Steve Nikoui shouted, referencing the location where his son, Marine Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, was killed in Kabul.

Steve Nikoui faced federal charges until they were dropped 13 days later.

Another Popular Rapper Rebukes Kamala and Endorses Trump: ‘Do Your Research’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Another rapper has called out Vice President Kamala Harris, urging his massive following not to vote for her in the 2024 election—and endorsing President Donald Trump in the same posts.

Swae Lee, a member of the hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd with over 50 million listeners on Spotify, delivered the blunt message on Twitter: “Do not vote for Kamala !!! Do your research on that whole camp.”

Swae Lee, born Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown, is known for global hits Unforgettable and Sunflower with Post Malone. He posted the dire warning on Saturday, garnering over 9.2 million views.

It was not the only anti-Harris message he shared. He praised Trump for his policies supporting historically black colleges and universities.

“Go look at what [T]rump did for blacks [and] hbcus [sic],” he wrote in one tweet. “All type shit media don’t show everything bro.”

In another post, the rapper criticized high taxes and foreign aid, writing, “I pay over millions in tax dollars every year. … Those lil dollars that come off your checks they gave it away !!!!!!! Think about that sh*t.”

Swae Lee also urged black Americans not to vote for Harris based solely on her race. She did not do anything but propose policies “against y’all,” he wrote, referring to black Americans.

“Voting just cuz you think she’s black is not going to end in your favor,” the rapper concluded.

Harris’s tenure as San Francisco district attorney and California attorney general starkly contrasts with the progressive rhetoric she has hijacked while campaigning for president in 2020.

Then-Democratic candidate Tulsi Gabbard criticized Harris over this record during the DNC debate in 2020.

“She put over 15,000 people in jail for marijuana violations and laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana,” Gabbard said.

Gabbard added, “She blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so. She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor in the state of California and she fought to keep cash bail systems in place.”

Swae Lee joins a growing list of rappers and hip-hop personalities endorsing Trump for president ahead of the 2024 election.

Reality show star and entrepreneur Amber Rose delivered a powerful pro-Trump speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention.

Sexyy Red, one of the biggest female rappers in 2024, hailed Trump for pardoning hip-hop legend Lil Wayne and for passing stimulus checks in 2021.

Kodak Black, who was pardoned by Trump, has also endorsed him. According to XXL Magazine, New York City drill rappers Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow welcomed Trump for a massive rally in the Bronx in May.

As reported by the outlet, the list of rappers backing Trump and Republicans includes Meek Mill, 50 Cent, Chief Keef, Bandman Kevo, Benny The Butcher, Lil Pump, OhGeesy, Waka Flocka Flame, Azealia Banks, Peezy, Money Man, OT7 Quanny, PROLIFICJONNY5 and Killer Mike.

Kamala’s Amnesty Plan for 11M Illegals Revealed by Major Surrogate

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Over 11 million illegal aliens could be granted amnesty under a potential administration led by Vice President Kamala Harris, according to Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Ma., during an interview with CNN on Sunday.

“I believe we need to create a pathway to citizenship,” Warren told host Jake Tapper on State of the Union. “All of that is part of what we need to do for comprehensive immigration reform. Kamala Harris will work with Congress and get that done.”

As a major Harris surrogate, Warren’s remarks are considered campaign-endorsed statements. Her claims came after Tapper questioned whether the Democratic Party’s choice of Harris as their nominee could hinder their chances in the 2024 election, especially given her infamous role as border czar.

The Biden-Harris administration has reportedly overseen over 11 million border encounters since 2021. This unprecedented figure has raised concerns about the Democrats’ failure to manage border security effectively.

“I don’t need to tell you voters overwhelmingly disapprove of how the Biden-Harris administration has handled the border,” Tapper asked. “By giving the nomination to one of the leaders of the border effort, aren’t Democrats doubling down on one of your party’s biggest vulnerabilities?”

Warren responded, “Border crossings now are lower than they were in the last year of the Trump administration. But recognize – and I know that Kamala Harris knows – this is a problem that ultimately has to be solved by Congress.”

She concluded, “We need the tools in order to have more resources at the border, to have more resources in the states and cities that are supporting migrants.”

Harris is considered the presumptive Democratic nominee for president and is likely to face Republican candidate Donald Trump, a staunch advocate of border security.

Harris will need to defend her record, especially as illegal aliens have been accused of committing some of the most gruesome crimes against young girls in America.

The parents of victims Laken Riley, a beloved Georgia nursing student, and Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old Texas girl, blame the Biden-Harris open border policies for their daughters’ tragic deaths.

According to law enforcement officials, both were brutally murdered by illegal aliens allowed into the country under the Biden-Harris administration.

The border failures prompted the House of Representatives to pass a bipartisan resolution rebuking Harris’s tenure as border czar. Tellingly, six Democrats joined Republicans to pass the resolution.

Renewed Calls to End Chicago’s Sanctuary Status Ahead of Expected Surge of Illegals

(Glenn Minnis, The Center Square) With the city of Chicago already spending as much as $1.5 million a day for migrant housing and thousands of new illegals expected in the weeks ahead, local activist Tio Hardiman is renewing his call for the city to reverse its sanctuary city status.

For the past two years, Chicago has received more than 45,000 foreign nationals from the southern U.S. border, where border communities have been inundated with border crossers. The taxpayer costs for Illinois and the city of Chicago continue with the new state budget that started this month setting aside more than $900 million for health care, housing, food and even legal subsidies.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott recently went on record with his plan to continue busing people to Chicago, where local law enforcement are prohibited from assisting enforcement of federal immigration laws. Earlier this week, a Chicago City Council committee heard from the budget director they have not budgeted for the expected surge.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson was asked about the potential of thousands of more non-citizen migrants being transported to the city leading up to the Democratic National Convention next month.

“We have right now, currently, roughly 5,600 new arrivals that are still in our shelters. Our collective resources are prepared for as many as 15,000 but we certainly hope that Gov. Abbot finds Jesus Christ as his lord and savior and don’t do that,” Johnson said Thursday.

Hardiman said he’s had enough of all the politics coming from both sides.

“The Democrats may be looking at the migrant situation like, in the next two or three years, all those migrants will become registered voters,” he said. “The Republicans are looking from a lens where they’re trying to penalize some of the Democratic cities.”

Overall, the city has paid out at least $185 million to care for migrants over the last six months. Hardiman said policies have to change.

“Let’s bring an end to sanctuary cities because the city is not prepared,” Hardiman said.

Hardiman’s calls for the city to reverse course goes back to 2023, when he argued state lawmakers were not doing nearly enough to help the longtime downtrodden residents of the state and that its newfound migrant problem is one wholly created by bad policy.

All the runaway spending sends a clear and irrefutable message, he said.

“The state, city and county have already spent close to … $800 million or more on the immigrant crisis here, and all those resources are going to the illegal immigrants and the resources should be going to those that are already here struggling each and every day,” he said. “The message is going out that elected officials care more about the illegal immigrants than they care about the people that have been there their whole life struggling.”

Through all the back and forth, Hardiman said one thing remains clear to him.

“I’m never going to sit up and agree that we should be a sanctuary city and allow illegal immigrants to come over and receive all the resources in this state and you got people here starving right now,” he said.

The surge of migrants is expected to coincide with the Democratic National Convention that begins in Chicago Aug. 19.

Trump and Vance Make Campaign Push in Minnesota

(Headline USA) As the presidential campaign enters a critical final 100 day stretch, Republican nominee Donald Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, rallied supporters on Saturday in a state that hasn’t backed a GOP candidate for the White House since 1972.

The rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota, is a sign of the campaign’s bullishness about its prospects across the Midwest.

Trump, who won Michigan and Wisconsin in 2016, has increasingly focused on Minnesota as a state where he’d like to put Democrats on defense.

This campaign focus comes after Minnesota Democrats tried to keep Trump off the official ballot in Minnesota. The attempt to keep President Trump out of the Minnesota election failed, per PBS.

The rally could force likely Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris, and Democrats to devote resources in a state they would likely otherwise ignore in the 2024 election.

Trump spoke for more than an hour and a half to cheering crowds holding signs supporting police and calling for the deportation of illegal immigrants.

He attacked Harris’s record on immigration and crime.

He called her a “crazy liberal” and accused her of wanting to “defund the police,” while he said by contrast, he wants to “overfund the police.”

“Kamala Harris’ deadly destruction of America’s borders is completely and totally disqualifying for her to be president,” President Trump said.

Trump called out Harris for a 2020 post she made after the overdose death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. The post had encouraged people to help protesters by giving money to the Minnesota Freedom Fund.

Though Harris did not contribute to the fund herself, her tweet was among those from celebrities and high-profile people that helped donations flow into the cash-strapped nonprofit, helping it quickly raise $34 million. In the aftermath of the protests and unrest, the group actually spent little bailing out protesters.

Trump also attacked Harris’s record on abortion, calling her an “absolute radical.” This after she became the Biden administration’s most vocal proponent of infanticides.

Trump’s remarks followed a spirited speech from Vance, in which he focused on security at the border and crime.

In May, Trump headlined a GOP fundraiser in St. Paul, where he boasted he could win the state and made explicit appeals to the iron-mining range in northeast Minnesota, where he hopes a heavy population of blue-collar and union workers will continue the trend of working Americans supporting President Trump.

Trump’s appeal to that population has also helped Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz land on the list of about a dozen Democrats who are being vetted to potentially be Harris’ running mate.

Kelly is Oddsmakers’ Choice for Democrats’ Ticket with Harris

(Alan Wooten, The Center Square) – Oddsmakers try to make money for the house, not necessarily forecast winners. Who the public thinks, however, is reflected when the odds adjust.

Friday morning, Arizona U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly had climbed to the top of five books as the betting choice for being Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate on the Democrats’ presidential ticket.

Monday at noon, just under 24 hours after President Joe Biden had awkwardly stepped out of the race with a social media post, Kelly was a consensus fourth behind Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear.

Kelly, Shapiro and Cooper are the leaders, according to the oddsmakers analyzed.

Harris, at time of publication, was yet to make an announcement. More than half a dozen potential running mates are in the vetting process.

According to oddsmaker BetOnline, Kelly is plus-115, Shapiro plus-275 and Cooper plus-625. On Monday, Shapiro and Cooper were each at plus-225, Kelly plus-350 and Beshear plus-450.

At Bovada, Kelly is plus-135, Shapiro plus-275, Cooper plus-600, Beshear plus-1000. On Monday, it was Shapiro plus-200, Cooper plus-250, Kelly plus-350 and Beshear plus-500.

Polymarket has lifted Kelly to 40% (betting yes is 40 cents on the dollar). Shapiro is 23%, Cooper 13%, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg 7% and Beshear 6%. On Monday, it was Shapiro 28%, Cooper 24%, Beshear 16% and Kelly 14%.

PredictIT has Kelly at 42 cents (on the dollar), Shapiro 26 cents, Cooper 12 cents, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz 10 cents, and Beshear 8 cents. Monday, Shapiro was at 33 cents, Cooper and Beshear each at 21 cents, and Kelly 20 cents.

OddSchecker has greatly changed its leaderboard since Monday, when Buttigieg was an overwhelming favorite and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer a distant second followed by former First Lady Michelle Obama. Friday morning, Kelly was at plus-158, Shapiro plus-320, Cooper plus-660 and Beshear plus-1200.

At $markets, Kelly is 37.8%, Shapiro 23.2%, Cooper 16.1%, Walz 9.5% and Beshear 8.7%. On Monday, it was Shapiro 37.3%, Beshear 20.4%, Cooper 20% and Kelly 15.6%.

Kamala Hypocrisy: Sexual Joke Against Vance Despite Anti-Sexism Cries

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris appeared to make fun of false allegations that Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, may have “had sex with a couch.”

On Saturday, the Harris campaign tweeted, “JD Vance does not couch his hatred for women,” seemingly poking fun at viral yet false assertions tying Vance to sexual acts.

Harris’s willingness to sex attacks comes as her allies sound the alarm about so-called sexist and misogynistic attacks lobbed at her. Those concerns went out of the window this weekend.

The couch claims stem from social media posts about a fake Vance anecdote in his autobiography, Hillbilly Elegy, about placing gloves between couch cushions and then inserting his penis within the gloves to simulate intercourse.

Such claims are verifiably false, but that did not stop the Harris campaign from using them to attack Vance.

Washington Free Beacon reporter Chuck Ross tweeted, “The Harris campaign will portray her as the adult in the room, but here they are pushing the thing that some left-wing rando made up about JD Vance.”

Others were supportive of the Harris campaign’s disturbing joke, with one user tweeting, “RIP ‘when they go low we go high’ 2016-2024,” and another adding, “When they go low, we go for the couch.”

This comes as the Harris campaign faces questions about her rise to power and her 1990s affair with Willie Brown, the then-married speaker of the California Assembly. Brown later became the mayor of San Francisco.

Brown has long been credited as the force that propelled Harris into politics by appointing her to powerful California commissions, then known as “patronage” positions.

Earlier this week, Fox Business contributor Alex Lace came under fire for referring to Harris as the “original Hawk Tuah girl,” a phrase used to describe oral sex.

Leftists argue that suggesting Harris owes her career to Brown is sexist and misogynistic. However, the Harris campaign’s willingness to joke about sex acts involving Vance appears hypocritical.

Fearless Trump Plans Outdoor Rallies Despite Fake News Claims

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Donald Trump announced plans to continue holding outdoor rallies despite leftist claims suggesting otherwise.

“I will continue to do outdoor rallies, and Secret Service has agreed to substantially step up their operation,” Trump posted on Truth Social Saturday morning.

Trump’s statement follows an NBC News report citing two anonymous sources who falsely claimed that he sought to halt outdoor events as he campaigns for president. The report also suggested the possibility of small outdoor rallies.

Trump’s plan to continue his energetic outdoor rallies comes two weeks after narrowly escaping an assassination attempt at a field in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.

The rally was abruptly disrupted when failed assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed onto the roof of a building adjacent to the stage and fired eight shots. Crooks shot parts of Trump’s right ear and killed Corey Comperatore, a Trump supporter and former fire chief.

Comperatore died heroically shielding his wife and daughter. “He threw my mom and I to the ground… [and] shielded my body from the bullet that came at us,” Allyson Comperatore wrote in a heartfelt message in Facebook.

Following the shooting, Secret Service Director Kimberley Cheatle took responsibility for the security failures at the rally.

“The buck stops with me,” she said during an interview with NBC News’s Lester Holt , ultimately resigning days later.

Trump pledged to return to Butler soon, undeterred by the attack. “No one can ever be allowed to stop or impede free speech or gathering!!!” he wrote.

Kamala Channels Inner Marx: ‘Everyone Ends Up in the Same Place’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris has recently used rhetoric reminiscent of Karl Marx, the author of The Communist Manifesto, in her attempts to define “equity.”

A video compilation shared by the conservative page End Wokeness on Friday showed Harris discussing the concepts of “equitable distribution” and “everybody ends up in the same place.”

These remarks came as Harris explained the difference between “equality” and “equity” and why the latter is needed in public policy.

“It has to be about a goal saying, ‘Everybody should end up in the same place.’ And since we didn’t start in the same place, some folks might need more. Equitable distribution,” Harris said in an undated video.

In a C-SPAN video, she added, “Equality suggests often, ‘Everybody should get the same thing.’ Well, that often assumes everybody started out in the same place. As opposed to equity, which is everyone should end up in the same place.”

In response, End Wokeness labeled Harris’s words as “communism,” echoing long-standing beliefs that talk of equity often has communistic undertones.

Rob Jenkins, an author and professor at Georgia State University, described equity as “Marxist redistributionism writ large” in a 2023 opinion piece for Campus Reform.

Marx, Jenkins wrote, sought to “to tear down every long-standing system and replace it with something that, in his view, would be more just. We know how that worked out.”

Dr. Bradley Gitz, a professor at Lyon College and columnist for The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, echoed Jenkins’s sentiments in a 2021 column.

Equity is “now being used to deceptively market the new Marxism and which has been made the centerpiece of the Biden administration agenda,” he wrote.

“In the traditional Marxist approach, inequalities were unjust consequences of the private ownership of property that defined capitalism; in the new Marxist approach, racial disparities are the unjust consequences of racism and the broader system of white supremacy,” Dr. Gitz added.

Weeks prior to the 2020 presidential election, then-candidate Joe Biden had to defend his policies amid worries they resembled Marxist-inspired ideas.

“Do I look like a socialist? Look at my career — my whole career. I am not a socialist,” Biden said at the time.

He ultimately chose Harris, then a U.S. senator from California who had run for the Democratic nomination to the left of Biden.
