Near-Death Experience Imbues Trump w/ Spirit of Transcendental Unity at RNC

(Elias Irizarry, Headline USA) Following a line-up of colorful speakers such as Hulk Hogan and Kid Rock, former President Donald Trump took the stage Thursday for the first time since his assassination attempt to formally accept the Republican nomination for president.

In contrast to the machismo of his high-energy opening acts, Trump’s own speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisc., struck a notably subdued note as he looked to tone down the divisive rhetoric that has cleft the nation into warring tribes, instead offering himself up as a president to represent all Americans.

“We are bound together by a single fate and shared destiny,” he said. “We rise together or we fall apart. So tonight, with faith and devotion, I proudly accept your nomination for President of the United States.”

Nonetheless, it wasn’t without elements of his signature showmanship—and with all the love and adulation being directed upon him in his crowning moment, he seemed almost reluctant to leave the stage, adding a roughly hourlong bonus speech of improvised material, perhaps to compensate for the rally cut short five days prior in Butler, Pa.

Trump walked onstage to a giant neon sign of his name as Lee Greenwood performed his iconic song “God Bless the USA.”

Behind him, firefighters in formal attire rolled out and saluted the uniform of ex-fire chief Corey Comperatore, who was slain in the assassination attempt on Saturday, July 13.

“I stand before you this evening with a message of confidence, strength, and hope,” Trump said to roaring applause. “Four months from now, we will have an incredible victory and we will begin the four greatest years in the history of our country.”

The former president—and now GOP presidential nominee for the third consecutive time—thanked the American people for their support and outpouring of love following his assassination, recounting his firsthand version of the events now etched into the nation’s collective memory through photos and videos that will take their place in the annals of U.S. history.

“I’ll tell you exactly what happened—and you’ll never hear it from me a second time, because it’s actually too painful to tell,” said Trump.

Trump explained that he had turned his head to look at a chart of illegal immigration statistics and felt a sharp pain in his ear. He put his hand to his ear, saw blood, and dropped to the ground. When he stood back up, he was stunned to see everyone still standing there instead of stampeding.

He also spoke in detail about Comperatore and the other victims who had been injured, walked over to the uniform of Comperatore, kissed his helmet, and called for a moment of silence.

With rumors abounding that President Joe Biden—currently in isolation with COVID-19—might soon exit the presidential race following last month’s disastrous debate, Trump seemed ready to transcend the old mode of politics as usual. He had reportedly rewritten his speech entirely following the attempt on his life to focus more on national unity.

Trump mentioned Biden by name only once and apologized for saying his name.

“Our planet is teetering on the edge of World War III,” he said, promising to “end every single international crisis that the current administration has created.”

He additionally pledged to end inflation, lower gas prices, stop the surge of illegal immigration and fix the economy, promising to “drill, baby, drill.”

“Just a few short days ago, my journey with you nearly ended—and yet, here we are tonight, all gathered together, talking about the future, promise, and renewal of a thing we love very much,” said Trump. “It’s called America.”

Reports: Trump Shooter Had ‘3 Encrypted Platforms’ Overseas, Signs of Depression

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) After taking more than a day to access alleged Trump shooter Thomas Crooks’s phone, the FBI is now reportedly working to obtain information from “three encrypted platforms” located in Germany, New Zealand and Belgium.

“Officials told lawmakers that the encrypted sites are presenting challenges to investigators and could take time to decrypt,” CBS reported Thursday, citing sources familiar with this week’s private congressional briefing with federal law enforcement officials.

According to CBS, the FBI purportedly found more than 14,000 images on Crooks’ primary phone. Among those images was a screenshot of an online live feed of the July 13 rally, saved at 6:01 p.m.—just 10 minutes before he allegedly opened fire.

“He searched online in April about major depressive disorder. In the days after the rally was announced, he made searches related to Trump, President Biden, the former president’s whereabouts on July 13 and the Democratic National Convention,” CBS reported—indicating that Crooks may have been suffering from mental ailments.

“Law enforcement also informed lawmakers that they found evidence Crooks’ parents attempted to reach and locate him on the day of the rally, though the timing was unclear,” CBS reported, adding, “The gunman’s father called police before the shooting began, concerned about his son and his whereabouts, a law enforcement source confirmed Thursday.”

Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla., appears to be the first person to reveal the news of the overseas Crooks accounts.

Additionally, the Daily Mail reported Friday that Crooks had searched for information about the Princess of Wales in addition to looking at Donald Trump, President Joe Biden, FBI Director Christopher Wray and US Attorney General Merrick Garland.

The latest reporting from CBS didn’t mention Crooks’s purported second phone, which had with just 27 contacts. That phone, whose existence was reported Thursday by Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich and others, has led to speculation that it was a “burner phone,” used to conceal Crooks’s dastardly plans.

Crooks was also reportedly spotted using a range finder, and law enforcement found a transponder on his person—which was presumably to detonate the explosives reportedly found in his car.

Despite Crooks having at least three encrypted apps, two phones, and accounts on gaming platforms, authorities he acted alone.

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle is scheduled to be pressed more about the Secret Service security failures this Monday at a House Oversight Committee hearing.

FBI Director Christopher Wray will then testify Wednesday before the House Judiciary Committee.

Did Hillary Just Attempt to Bleach the CrowdStrike Servers?

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) A major global IT meltdown Friday morning foisted a familiar name back into headlines for those old enough to recall the 2016 Russia collusion hoax and still young enough to recall it.

CrowdStrike, the cybersecurity company employed by the Democratic National Committee to maintain its server security and, later, to conduct an internal audit—the results of which were never publicly revealed—was at the center of a suspicious outage that crippled banks, transportation, infrastructure and other major industries.

The company blamed Microsoft, calling the issue “a defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts.”

According to CNBC, other companies relying on CrowdStrike’s cloud-based Falcon antivirus software were facing the “blue screen of death,” which left them unable to reboot, as a result of the issue.

Several major airlines were grounding flights, including those out of Milwaukee, Wisc., where Republicans were attempting to return home after this week’s GOP Convention.

In New York City, pictures showed many of the iconic Times Square electronic billboards had shut down.

Other reports indicated general chaos such as traffic-light outages throughout the country.

The meltdown comes at another particularly critical juncture for the DNC as it appears to be taking desperate and drastic measures following last Saturday’s failed assassination attempt on GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

With Trump’s popularity having hit a crescendo in its aftermath, the Democrats are now desperate to dispatch with President Joe Biden, and rumors abound that he has been given his marching orders to withdraw from the campaign over the weekend—without endorsing his black, female running mate, Vice President Kamala Harris.

For some, who suspect the outcome of the “democratic” primary is already baked into the cake, this series of seemingly organic moves may come as no surprise. Waiting until the late August convention to reveal the actual presidential nominee has been Democrats’ intent all along, perhaps banking on the idea that Trump fatigue will set in, despite the fact that Biden’s presidency has been a de-facto Obama third term.

Nonetheless, the possibility of an open primary presents a potential power vacuum that will send several Democrat hopefuls scrambling for the brass ring—with Hillary Clinton being no exception. And it may, thus, be necessary to tie up a few loose ends to the best of her ability by ensuring there are no lingering traces of the Seth Rich incident, PizzaGate, the Steele Dossier, the Clinton emails or any number of others in CrowdStrike’s system.

On the other hand, the hack also coincides with the release of Julian Assange, the Wikileaks head who made certain concessions in return for his freedom to delete the existing emails from his public servers—but that’s not to say he doesn’t know how to obtain more.

And with the DNC servers having long been rumored to have made their way to Ukraine, the recent ouster of his inside guy Joe Biden after having recently lost his bid to join NATO and suffered the ultimate affront—being called “President Putin”—may have inspired President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to shore up his collection of kompromat.

The incident and its timing actually call to mind the series of unusual banking blips that preceded the 2008 election, when the financial meltdown (with some help from political neophyte Marc Elias who stole the Minnesota election for Saturday Night Live alum Al Franken) helped to secure a congressional supermajority and offered the justification for what was, at the time, an unprecedented government spending package.

As the attack on Trump last weekend underscored, there are very few coincidences in this time of the political season, and any apparent anomaly such as this with a connection to the DNC is worth taking note of, should its relevance to the bigger picture later become clear.

Biden ‘Appears to Accept’ Decision to Step Down ‘Soon’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden appeared to acknowledge that his pathway for re-election is narrowing following a coup from Democratic Party officials, several media outlets reported on Thursday, citing remarks from individuals close to Biden.

“Reality is setting in,” an anonymous source told the New York Times, referring to the idea that President Donald Trump is poised to make a comeback if Biden does not drop out of the race.

In remarks to Axios, top Democrats indicated that private pressure from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.; Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y.; and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., will coerce Biden to announce an exit “as soon as this weekend.”

One of Biden’s close friends said that the president’s “choice is to be one of history’s heroes, or to be sure of the fact that there’ll never be a Biden presidential library.” The friend added, “I pray that he does the right thing. He’s headed that way.”

Biden is currently at his Delaware beach home, where he is recovering after testing positive for COVID-19. This isolation has prompted Biden to realize that despite millions of Democratic primary voters picking him as the nominee, party officials want him out.

In response to expectations of a potential announcement, White House spokesperson Andrew Bates simply wrote on X, “No.”

Biden campaign spokesperson TJ Ducklo — a former White House staffer who left in disgrace in 2021 after threatening a reporter who exposed him for having a relationship with embattled reporter Alexis McCammond — also refuted these allegations, calling Biden the “party’s nominee.”

A Community Note (Twitter’s fact-checking mechanism) placed a context label adjacent to Ducklo’s tweet, clarifying that Biden is “NOT” the Democratic nominee as the delegates have not nominated him.

Hunter Biden Mistakenly Cheers Court Rulings on Jack Smith’s Illegitimacy

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s convicted felon son, begged the federal judges presiding over his indictments to dismiss the charges following an unrelated Florida ruling that tossed the Mar-a-Lago indictment against President Donald Trump.

In filings submitted Thursday, attorneys for Hunter Biden argued that Special Counsel David Weiss’s office is unconstitutional, similar to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s, who led the documents and Jan. 6 cases.

Attorney General Merrick Garland granted Weiss and Smith special counsel status to investigate the separate cases of Hunter Biden and Trump.

At the center of Hunter Biden’s argument is U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon’s last week ruling, which dismissed Smith’s Mar-a-Lago case against Trump, citing that Smith’s appointment violated the Appointments Clause of the Constitution.

Garland granted Smith, a private citizen, broad powers to go after Trump. However, according to Cannon’s ruling, Smith’s lack of Senate confirmation made this appointment illegitimate.

In contrast, Weiss had already been confirmed by the Senate. Garland granted Weiss that special counsel status after the investigation against Hunter Biden began, enabling Weiss to file charges against Hunter in jurisdictions beyond Delaware.

Despite this, Hunter Biden’s attorneys argued that Cannon’s ruling applies to Weiss, although it does not.

“The Attorney General relied upon the exact same authority to appoint the Special Counsel in both the Trump and Biden matters, and both appointments are invalid for the same reason,” the attorneys claimed on Thursday, as reported by CNBC.

“The constitutional flaw at the center of the Special Counsel’s appointment is that Congress has not established the office of a Special Counsel,” they added.

The attorneys further claimed that since Congress required the president’s nomination of district attorneys, it would make “no sense” for Congress to grant the Attorney General the vast power to appoint someone with greater powers than a U.S. attorney.

“That is what has been attempted here,” they added.

Hunter Biden was convicted earlier this year of lying on federal gun purchase forms about his drug abuse and is facing trial for what Weiss claimed was a criminal failure to pay taxes on income reaching the multi-millions of dollars.

Biden Recruits 1,400 Black Women for Support, a Day after Racist Gaffe

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Over 1,400 black women condemned the Democratic Party’s efforts to coerce President Joe Biden to quit the 2024 race, despite millions of Democratic primary voters selecting him as their nominee.

In a one-page letter addressed to the “Democratic Party Leadership,” the women, including former politicians, party officials and Biden’s former staffers, decried the lack of unity behind their scandal-plagued president.

“The suggestion that any candidate who won their primary should simply step aside because victory appears difficult at the moment is disrespectful to the voters, unjust and undemocratic,” the women wrote.

The letter appeared to throw a lifeline to Biden, who is currently facing mounting calls to step down from the race. Black women are a strong voting bloc for Biden, despite his years-long history of making offensive remarks about black Americans.

On Wednesday, Biden forgot the name of his Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and disturbingly referred to him as “the black man” while bragging about Austin’s race.

It isn’t immediately clear who led the letter, but a Headline USA review found some of Biden’s campaign staffers among the signees, including Natalie Shorter a self-proclaimed regional political director for the Biden campaign.

It is also signed by former Sen. Carol Moseley Braun, former Biden official and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and former DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile.

Brazile did not immediately respond to Headline USA’s request for comment about who led the effort behind the letter.

The Biden campaign is actively working to quell efforts from within his own party to replace him as their nominee.

Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., once a staunch Biden defender, became the latest lawmaker to call on Biden to step down. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is also making calls to find a way to force Biden out.

Addressing these efforts, the black Democratic leaders wrote, “Now is the time for the Democratic Party to stop the attacks against their own presidential nominee that ‘we the people’ voted for and focus on defeating the real threat to our democracy and that is Donald Trump.”

Leftist ‘Voter Rights’ Group Tries to Suppress GOP Mail-In Voting

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A leftist nonprofit that once claimed to fund “voter rights” initiatives to “restor[e] … and activat[e] all voices in the United States” was behind a deceptive anti-Trump ad campaign that tried to discourage his supporters from voting by mail.

Federal Election Commission records revealed that Global Impact Social Welfare Fund, a little-known dark money group, gave $50,000 to PA Values on June 14, 2024. Two days after the group donated the money, PA Values paid $48,000 for an ad that urged “MAGA PATRIOTS” to “stand strong WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP” against mail-in voting.

Even though Trump was skeptical of mail-in and absentee voting during the 2020 election, he started encouraging his supporters to vote by using those methods to “beat the Democrats,” the Washington Free Beacon reported.

The ad was criticized, and people started speculating about the origin of the cash behind it. Several years ago, PA Values received contributions from labor unions and the law firm of Sen. Bob Casey’s, D-Pa., brother. However, the organization had an empty bank account during this election cycle until the donation from the Global Impact Social Welfare Fund.

The Trump campaign accused the organization of election interference over the advertisement and called for law enforcement to investigate the matter.

A left-wing election law professor also called the ad “borderline criminal” and castigated PA Values for its “trickery and voter suppression.”

The Global Impact Social Welfare Fund previously released a mission statement to “empower social impact” in areas such as the environment, justice reform, racial and “gender” equity and “voter rights.” The organization is a subsidiary of Global Impact, a “philanthropy adviser” that operates Charity.org.

Global Impact Social Welfare Fund operates as a dark money group, which means it masks its donors’ identity. The company’s parent organization made the only traceable contribution: $8.9 million in 2023 out of a total of $22.4 million in donations that year. According to its most recent tax filing, the Global Impact Social Welfare Fund spent $3.3 million to support “voter rights and education programs.”

Unhinged Joy Reid Claims Biden Getting COVID Is ‘Same’ As Trump Getting Shot

(Headline USA) MSNBC’s Joy Reid claimed on Wednesday that President Joe Biden testing positive for COVID-19 this week is “the exact same” as former President Donald Trump narrowly avoiding getting assassinated, The Hill reported.

“These two men are both elderly,” Reid said during MSNBC’s live coverage of the Republican National Convention.

“Donald Trump is an elderly man who, for whatever reason, was given nine seconds to take an iconic photo-op during an active shooter situation,” she continued. “Weird situation, we’ll figure that out one day.”

Trump surviving the assassination attempt has been portrayed as a “sign of strength,” she continued, before adding that Democrats should do the same for Biden’s COVID-19 recovery.

“This current president of the United States is 81 years old and has COVID, should he be fine in a couple of days, doesn’t that convey exactly the same thing?” Reid claimed.

“That he’s strong enough—older than Trump—to have gotten something that used to really be fatal to people his age,” she continued “So, if he does fine out of it and comes back and is able to do rallies, isn’t that exactly the same?”

She also went on to insist that Biden should use this as an opportunity to show Americans how to still be “responsible” when it comes to the virus.

“I assume he’s going to put a mask on when he gets inside Air Force One and not spread COVID around,” she said. “But also to remind people of what hell we went through with COVID because of Donald Trump.”

Biden’s campaign announced on Wednesday that the 81-year-old would not be attending his planned campaign events this week because he had tested positive for COVID-19.

Unsurprisingly, Reid has spread baseless conspiracy theories about the attempted assassination of Trump, suggesting that Trump was not actually injured and that the whole incident was staged.

“I have many questions! Like where are the medical reports? What caused Trump’s injury and what was the injury? … Where were the three attendees who were shot seated or standing relative to Trump? Why was Trump allowed to stand and pose for photos, fist pumping for nearly ten seconds while asking about his shoe when there could easily have been additional shooters?” Reid wrote on social media after the shooting.

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough Turns against Biden, Calls For Him to Drop Out

(Headline USA) MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough called on President Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 race this week, just a few months after declaring that Biden’s mental fitness was better than it’s ever been.

Scarborough admitted on Thursday morning that Biden should not continue his campaign for reelection and blasted the president’s family and friends for keeping Biden “in a bubble.”

Citing the events of the past few weeks, including Biden’s disastrous debate performance against former President Donald Trump, Scarborough warned that “this is not going to end well if it continues to drag out.”

He also urged the “people that are around Joe Biden to step up at this point and help the president. Help the man they love, and do the right thing,” Scarborough added.

“At some point, you know, I can tell ya, the anger that I hear is not at Joe Biden. The anger I hear are at the people that are keeping him in a bubble,” he said.

Back in March, Scarborough was singing a much different tune, though the concerns with Biden’s mental acuity were just as well-documented then. But Scarborough dismissed the reports, arguing that Biden “might misplace a word here or there” but is in fact really sharp.

“I undersold him when I said he was cogent,” Scarborough said at the time. “He’s far beyond cogent. In fact, he’s better than he’s ever been intellectually, analytically. Because he’s been around for 50 years.”

Continuing his deranged rant, Scarborough insisted he was telling the truth.

“And f**k you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever. Not a close second. And I’ve known him for years. … If it weren’t the truth, I wouldn’t say it,” he claimed.

Scarborough is now one of many Democrats urging Biden to drop out of the 2024 race. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., reportedly met with Biden this past week to pressure him to let someone else lead the party’s ticket.

REPORT: Microsoft Quietly Cut Its DEI Team

(Headline USA) Microsoft quietly laid off its entire diversity, equity, and inclusion team earlier this month due to “changing business needs,” according to a leaked email.

A former DEI official with the company said in an email to other Microsoft employees that Microsoft had decided to cut its DEI team effective July 1. The exact number of impacted employees was unknown.

“True systems-change work associated with DEI programmes everywhere are no longer business critical or smart as they were in 2020,” the DEI official said of Microsoft’s reasoning, according to Business Insider.

The ousted employee went on to warn that DEI initiatives likely were also at risk in other major companies.

“Hence the purposeful and strategic 3-5 year shelf life of many company’s inclusion commitments post the murder of George Floyd are being reevaluated,” the email said. “And the way I see it, the timing was impeccable so businesses everywhere could reevaluate the path forward should their U.S. federal contracts be at risk if the work continues on its face.”

Microsoft spokesman Jeff Jones refused either to confirm or deny the report, but he claimed the company remained committed to “diversity and inclusion” in other respects while notably making no mention of “equity.”

“[Diversity and inclusion] commitments remain unchanged,” Jones said. “Our focus on diversity and inclusion is unwavering and we are holding firm on our expectations, prioritizing accountability, and continuing to focus on this work.”

Just a few months ago, Microsoft was celebrating its DEI initiatives. In February, the company released a report boasting that its black, Asian and Hispanic employees earned more than their white counterparts.

Microsoft also came under fire from the Labor Department in 2020 after the company announced it would double its number of minority managers and senior employees by 2025.

The employment action violated the Civil Rights Act, according to former President Donald Trump’s Labor Department, and resulted in Microsoft having to pay a $3 million settlement.
