Joe Manchin Says Biden Should Have Pardoned Trump Along with Hunter

(Headline USA) Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., claimed this week that President Joe Biden should have pardoned President-elect Donald Trump at the same time he pardoned his son, Hunter Biden.

The president announced over the weekend that he had granted a sweeping pardon to Hunter Biden, who was convicted this summer for tax and gun crimes.

The pardon absolves Hunter Biden of any criminal wrongdoing starting in 2014, when Joe Biden was vice president.

Despite Joe Biden’s past promises that he would not issue such a pardon, Manchin said this week that he understood where the president was coming from as “a father.”

However, Joe Biden should have tried to make the pardon politically neutral by also extending one to Trump, who was convicted on 34 felony counts earlier this year for the falsification of business records.

“What I would have done differently, and my recommendations as a counselor would have been, why don’t you go ahead and pardon Donald Trump for all his charges?” Manchin told CNN. ”Make it a lot more balanced, if you will. I’m just saying, wipe them out.”

Other Democrats have been far more critical of Joe Biden’s decision, accusing him of lying to the public about his intentions to pardon Hunter.

“President Biden’s decision to pardon his son was wrong,” Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., said on Monday. “A president’s family and allies shouldn’t get special treatment. This was an improper use of power, it erodes trust in our government, and it emboldens others to bend justice to suit their interests.”

Even leftist California Gov. Gavin Newsom broke with Biden, saying he “can’t support” the president’s self-serving decision.

“With everything the president and his family have been through, I completely understand the instinct to protect Hunter,” Newsom told Politico. “But I took the president at his word. So by definition, I’m disappointed and can’t support the decision.”

New Jersey Town Bans American Flag, Constitution from Council Meetings

(Headline USA) A New Jersey town voted this month to ban the American flag and the U.S. Constitution from its council meetings, triggering outrage among offended residents.

The Edison Township Council passed the new rule, Ordinance 2239, to prohibit local residents from using “props” during the public comment section of town meetings. The council claimed the rule was necessary to maintain decorum during the meetings.

While the rule doesn’t single out American flags and copies of the U.S. Constitution, Council President Nishit Patel claimed such items would be “considered not conducive to good order” and would therefore result in ejection from the town meetings.

Several residents protested the rule during a council meeting last week, calling it “stupid’ and unpatriotic.

One resident, Joel Bassoff, who is also a local attorney, brought his American flag into the meeting in spite of the ordinance.

“I’m holding up an American flag to represent the constitutional values,” Bassoff said during public comment as Patel banged his gavel to try and interrupt him.

“It’s my constitutional right to do this,” Bassoff continued. “If you get sued, you will lose. My suggestion to you is that you get a second opinion from competent counsel because you are wrong.”

Patel again tried to cut Bassoff off, arguing Bassoff was in breach of decorum.

“You are interfering with the decorum of this meeting by interfering with the right to speech of a member of the public,” Bassoff replied. “And it should stop now.”

Moments later, Bassoff was approached by two police officers who escorted him from the podium. When Bassoff tried to take his seat, Patel demanded the cops throw him out of the meeting altogether.

Earlier in the meeting, another resident was also removed after she displayed a copy of the U.S. Constitution while addressing council members.

After Bassoff was thrown out, resident Maryann Hennessey blasted the city council for its “disgusting” actions.

“To consider the American flag and the Constitution a prop when someone raises it is an insult to what the flag is, what the flag stands for and what this country is,” she said. “For you to consider the use of the American flag [as] a prop is disgusting.”

First Dem Joins Congressional DOGE Caucus to Cut Government Bloat

(Headline USA) Rep. Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla., became the first Democrat to join the new Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency Caucus in Congress, a group that aims to partner with President-elect Donald Trump’s forthcoming Department of Government Efficiency.

“Today, I will join the Congressional DOGE Caucus, because I believe that streamlining government processes and reducing ineffective government spending should not be a partisan issue,” Moskowitz said in a statement on Tuesday. “I’ve been clear that there are ways we can reorganize our government to make it work better for the American people.”

The congressional group is being led by Reps. Aaron Bean, R-Fla., and Pete Sessions, R-Texas, in the House and by Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, in the Senate.

Moskowitz has expressed support for Trump’s new DOGE, which will be led by billionaire Elon Musk and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

The organization will not be an official federal agency, according to Trump, but will work as an outside advisory group to help his White House identify ways to slash spending and government programs without congressional approval.

Moskowitz, however, said he is hopeful the congressional DOGE Caucus will assist Musk and Ramaswamy’s efforts via legislation.

Specifically, Moskowitz said he wants to tackle bloat in the Department of Homeland Security.

“The Caucus should look at the bureaucracy that DHS has become and include recommendations to make Secret Service and FEMA [Federal Emergency Management Agency] independent federal agencies with a direct report to the White House,” said Moskowitz.“It’s not practical to have 22 agencies under this one department. I look forward to working in a bipartisan manner with my colleagues to remove FEMA and Secret Service from DHS.”

Musk and Ramawsawmy are scheduled to meet with lawmakers on Capitol Hill this week.

Moskowitz isn’t the only Democrat to offer support for Trump’s government-slashing plan. Even Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., agreed this week that defense spending in particular needs to be better managed.

“Elon Musk is right. The Pentagon, with a budget of $886 billion, just failed its 7th audit in a row. It’s lost track of billions,” Sanders wrote on X. “Last year, only 13 senators voted against the Military Industrial Complex and a defense budget full of waste and fraud. That must change.”

SELLERS: Democrats’ FAFO Philosophy Strikes Back w/ a Vengeance

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) When the ink has dried on the newly written history of the 2024 election, it will be clear that hubris, above all else, cost Democrats the opportunity to stop what they claimed would be the end of democracy as we know it.

While it was the gods of yore who punished figures like Oedipus, Icarus and Achilles for their vainglorious temptations of fate, in American politics it is the citizens themselves who must hold their elected leaders accountable.

And in modern parlance, hubris—the ancient Greeks’ term for the excessive pride that invariably leads to the demise and suffering of every tragic hero—goes by a different name: FAFO.

Those unfamiliar with what the ubiquitous acronym stands for can Google it or consult TikTok. (Hint: The second half stands for “find out.”)

Not surprisingly, in the spirit of Saul Alinsky, leftist social-media users now are pre-emptively trying to appropriate the #FAFO hashtag, sharing stories about how they are inflicting passive-aggressive punishments on Republicans, such as boycotting the family Thanksgiving.

But it is clear that they are the ones who will soon reap the consequences of their own arrogance.

More than any immediate danger President-elect Donald Trump may pose, the biggest problem Democrats now face is that they have no cards left to play, and voters have just called their bluff.

After ceding any moral high ground to engage openly in vicious political games over the past eight years, their scorched-earth attempts to smear Trump and his supporters have left little room for retreat, and their own credibility is now severely eroded.

Adding insult to injury, the damage to Trump’s political enemies is entirely self-inflicted, based on their unwavering commitment to trying to dupe the public and sell it a bad bill of goods.

THE PARDON PARADOX

President Joe Biden’s decision on Sunday to issue a “full and unconditional pardon” for his son Hunter perfectly underscored the dilemma that the Left’s recklessness has wrought.

The edict’s thoughtfully crafted, almost-11-year retroactive timespan ensures that the degenerate-drug-fiend-turned-Burisma-bagman will permanently avoid accountability in his Ukrainian influence-peddling scandal—one for which House Republicans were likely to recommend charges to the incoming Justice Department following a frustratingly meticulous and sometimes overcautious investigation.

However, the gesture of clemency—while it is the president’s prerogative to grant it—also carries with it a tacit admission of guilt. And it is an especially damning one at that, since the Left’s entire 2019 impeachment of Trump was predicated on the claim that he had targeted the Bidens for purely political reasons.

Because of those actions, impeachment no longer carries the stigma it once did but has become yet another political tool, like the filibuster, for fighting the opposition.

Trump, who already has been the victim of two bogus impeachments, will undoubtedly see the toothless threat for what it is, should Democrats invoke it once more in his second term.

Worse yet, corrupt prosecutors didn’t stop there. They proceeded to push case after case of lawfare against the GOP leader, weaponizing—and thereby delegitimizing—the entire justice system in many blue areas, where judges and juries shamelessly and unscrupulously based their legal determinations solely on their Trump Derangement Syndrome.

In that context, the Delaware jury’s guilty verdict in a cut-and-dry case in which Hunter Biden was on record admitting he violated the law was a rare moment of redemption.

Yet, Biden’s defenders spuriously claimed political persecution, while others made hay of the idea that Hunter would be held accountable—an outcome that few actually believed would come to pass.

Ironically, the initial reaction from the Left following the announcement of the pardon was not to condemn Biden for having broken his promise—humiliating those who grandstanded over his hollow pledge to preserve DOJ independence.

Rather, many lashed out over the fact that Biden had cleared the way for Trump to follow his unethical precedent.

Still, it is possible, as some have pointed out, that Joe Biden may yet be hoisted with his own petard.

Hunter can no longer incriminate himself—and, consequently, is free to testify against other unpardoned members of the Biden family crime syndicate without any protections from the Fifth Amendment.

Thus, by gaming the system to protect Hunter, the end result may be that Joe Biden, himself, faces greater exposure to criminal prosecution.

The same is true of nearly every strategy that Democrats deployed during the recent campaign, many of which not only failed spectacularly, but have since begun to backfire due to the audacity with which they were undertaken.

CAMPAIGN AND SUFFERING

While most of the topics below have already been discussed to death in the wake of Kamala Harris’s historic defeat last month, it is worth drilling down into the unique ways in which the Left’s FAFO strategy managed to compound its woes in the long run.

In some instances, it may have involved the breaking of laws—or at least ethical norms—with callous disregard for the customary precedents and conventions that Americans have come to expect.

In others, it was the sin of omission, or a simple refusal to enforce the laws that those in positions of power and trust were tasked with upholding.

In many cases, though, the biggest strategic failure of all was the Left’s sheer dishonesty in exaggerating and distorting the terms of debate to cover up its weak hand on issues that it either had handled ineptly or veered too far to the extreme on.

The Disappearing Primary

It was obvious to most that the Democratic National Committee and party powerbrokers were seeking to avoid a contentious primary that might weaken Biden’s political hand with attacks on both his age and his record. But why this runaround seemed like a good idea may, in hindsight, remain one of the biggest campaign mysteries, short of what happened to all of Biden’s 2020 voters.

The lack of criticism—and the determination to ignore and deny Biden’s weaknesses as “cheap fakes”—ultimately left the campaign in a severely compromised position when it finally made the decision to do the bait-and-switch that most had long assumed was inevitable.

Moreover, Democrats’ dearth of intra-party debate allowed Trump’s campaign to court liberal critics such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, forcing progressives to relinquish their long cherished status as the party of tolerance and diversity.

When DNC elites finally settled on Harris, the trainwreck was equal parts comical and cringeworthy.

Buoyed by what was clearly an astroturfed effort to rehab the deeply unpopular vice president, fake news flooded the mediascape with phony fundraising data and phony polls. But the only people who came off looking worse than the shills who insultingly peddled such lies to the public were those who evidently bought into them.

Donors and celebrity endorsers have since expressed their regret at having been “seduced” by the nonsensical claims, such as the one that Harris was outperforming Trump in deep-red Iowa. But the warning signs were present from the beginning as the Harris campaign routinely overpromised and underdelivered when it came to things like a much-hyped Beyonce concert that never materialized.

Harris never made history for the reasons she hoped, but she did set a record that will be difficult to break for having squandered the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time.

Hedging Bets on Hamas

In the spring, it seemed as if Hamas supporters were on the verge of mobilizing into another “summer of love” movement similar to the 2020 race riots that Democrat officials openly embraced, with agitators paid directly or indirectly by billionaire oligarchs and Middle Eastern shahs. But not only did the movement fail to coalesce, it actually generated significant backlash.

Left-leaning universities faced consequences for allowing the on-campus disruptions, especially after they became overtly anti-Semitic. Fearful of losing too much Jewish support, the Biden administration remained deafeningly silent on the matter, which in turn outraged Muslims who expected greater support.

Already annoyed by the encroachment of LGBT issues into public spaces, including schools, Islamic voters in key battlegrounds like Michigan and Wisconsin either decided to sit out the election or throw their support to Trump, who seemed the better bet for de-escalating Middle Eastern tensions by taking a hardline stance on Iran.

Ignoring Illegal Immigration

There was only one way for Democrats to benefit politically over the Biden administration’s open-borders agenda, and that was enabling illegal immigrants to vote, whether through amnesty/blanket citizenship or a brazen disregard for enforcing election integrity.

They attempted both, but with little success. However, the mishandling of the immigration issue—although it may have been a cause célèbre for the NIMBYist Martha’s Vineyard set that was cushioned from the consequences—resonated deeply with lower- and middle-class voters who despised being treated like second-class citizens while noncitizens had the red carpet rolled out.

Even legal Latinos, who shared a cultural heritage with the majority of the so-called newcomers, condemned seeing scofflaw behavior rewarded as gangs of roving illegals took over apartment complexes in Colorado, ate the pets in Ohio and left a trail of innocent victims of violent crimes, including Laken Riley in Georgia and Jocelyn Nungaray in Texas.

But it may have been simple economics that drove away others, including blue-collar union workers, already walloped by the Biden economy’s inflation crisis, who resented having their wages undercut.

The immigration issue proved to be a major liability for Harris, in particular, as it was the one responsibility as vice president that everyone knew she had been delegated. To deny having been the border czar meant she had to admit that she altogether lacked any sort of leadership experience.

The Democrats’ “great replacement” plan might still reap its rewards in the long term if Trump’s promise of mass deportations falters. But if the party finds itself boxed in by the Biden–Harris policies, there is no guarantee blue-collar voters will return to the fold.

Ambiguity on Abortion

Democrats went big on abortion, seeing it as a winning issue after the Supreme Court’s 2022 Dobbs decision and subsequent special elections, including some in red states, that did not follow the pro-life path.

While they tried to spread panic that Trump supported a national abortion mandate to stir up single-issue female voters, the fact that Trump was clear about keeping the issue at the state level ensured that their Handmaid’s Tale and Project 2025 propaganda only resonated with the lowest of low-info news consumers.

As it turned out, the fact that red states like Kanas, Kentucky and Ohio had already voted in favor of preserving abortion was not the “own” that Democrats thought it would be.

Instead, it underscored the fact that there was no existential threat to “women’s rights,” and that those who chose to live in a state where abortions were restricted could simply vote with their feet if they felt that strongly about it. Or, alternatively, they could split the ticket, as voters in Arizona, Missouri and Montana did, by supporting Trump and backing constitutional protections at the state level for abortion.

Meanwhile, many of the women who seemed to have their passions stoked by the issue also happened to seem like the least likely candidates for an accidental or involuntary impregnation. As the Harris campaign doubled down on radical feminism, Trump again cornered the middle ground, winning libertarians who supported abortion but did not put it in their top-5 priorities list, and also courting young males who felt alienated by the constant barrage of attacks on “toxic masculinity” as the source of all women’s woes.

Trapped by Transgenderism

On the flip side of the abortion issue, Republicans made controversies over transgenderism a major focal point of their campaign in a $17 million marketing push that seemed to resonate with many voters.

The culture-war issue had been embraced by the Biden administration to the point of having several underqualified officials—such as Rachel Levine and puppy-playing, luggage-stealing cross-dresser Sam Brinton—serving in significant roles.

Moreover during a White House “pride” celebration, a transgender influencer generated scandal by publicly flashing a pair of female-presenting breasts.

Biden also used executive order to subvert Title IX rules in public education, threatening schools with a loss of federal funds if they refused to capitulate to the arbitrary demands of gender-identity politics, including pronoun selection.

Even many in the gay community were aghast at being lumped in with perverts and mental patients who denied basic science—or those who, at best, threatened to roll back LGB progress with their extreme overreach.

Voters ultimately rejected the cognitive dissonance of refusing to acknowledge obvious biological differences, particularly when confronted by it in gender-exclusive spaces like locker rooms.

But the damage the Left inflicted on vulnerable young people in its efforts to push the “woke mind virus” was incalculable. It was a price that not even the richest man in the world could bear to pay. Literally.

The red-pill transformation of billionaire Elon Musk came about in large part after his son, Xavier, underwent the transformation to become Vivian and disavowed the Musk name (but not the money that came with it, necessarily).

Musk’s multi-pronged impact on the election, in turn, may also be immeasurable. His purchase of Twitter gave conservatives their voice back and leveled the social-media playing field following years of censorship.

His infusion of money provided a boon to the Trump campaign, which appeared to be vastly outraised by Harris’s network of dark-money donors.

But Musk also was considered to be one of the greatest geniuses of our time, making it acceptable for other liberals straddling the fence to likewise make the leap. That included Joe Rogan, who hosted Trump and running mate JD Vance on his highly popular podcast in the waning weeks of the race at Musk’s behest.

Best of all, Democrats who sank tens of thousands of dollars into buying Teslas to virtue-signal their embrace of electric vehicles now must bear the brand of one of their greatest nemeses.

Fortunately, in the hourslong wait for their batteries to charge, they should have ample time to meditate on the eternal koan “What is a woman”—and to reflect on how their lives took the tragic turn from FA to FO.

Trump Shooting Task Force Finished Work Early, Despite Unanswered Questions

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The House Task Force investigating the Trump assassination attempts had a Dec. 13 deadline to finish its work and report its findings.

However, Task Force member Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., revealed Wednesday that the committee has finished its final report, even though over a week remains before its deadline, and even though there are numerous unanswered questions about both the July 13 Trump shooting and the Sept. 15 assassination attempt at Trump’s Palm Beach golf course.

“Some of this stuff remains to be fully investigated. The Task Force has submitted its report a couple of weeks early. But essentially the Task Force has ran out of clock—but I have not,” Higgins said in an interview with Newsmax, promising that he’ll continue investigating.

“I will have a gavel at the 119th Congress at the Oversight Committee.”

Higgins’s remarks come as the Task Force is set to hold its final public hearing on Thursday with Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe, whose testimony apparently won’t be included in the final report. The Task Force only held one other public hearing—questioning local law enforcement in August—and hasn’t publicly questioned FBI Director Chris Wray or other top officials.

Following Thursday morning’s hearing, the Task Force is scheduled to “consider final recommendations and report,” according to a notice on the House’s website.

Last week, Wray and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas were scheduled to testify before the House and Senate about “threats to the homeland”—but they cancelled their appearances at the last minute.

Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa., who chairs the House Task Force investigating the Trump assassination attempts, recently signaled that one of the outcomes of his investigation will be recommending that the Secret Service become an independent, standalone agency—removing it from being housed within the Department of Homeland Security.

“Separating them, truly making them this elite group to increase the numbers of the people they need, all the assets they need that’s the best approach,” Kelly told WENY News in an article last week. Kelly was likely referencing the fact that the Secret Service had to rely on agents from the DHS’s Homeland Security Investigations to assist with security at Butler and other campaign events.

Satanic Temple Offers Program to Ohio Elementary Students

(Maire Clayton, Headline USA) The Satanic Temple announced it will be offering a religious learning program to elementary students in Ohio.

The program at Edgewood Elementary School in Marysville, Ohio, will occur once a month during school hours and will be off property.

The Hellion Academy of Independent Learning, also known as HAIL, was offered under the Release Time Religious Instruction which allows learning opportunities outside of campus.

“We give students an appreciation of the natural wonders surrounding them, not a fear of everlasting other-worldly horrors,” the brochure for HAIL read.

The program was aimed at kindergarten through fifth grade.

June Everett, the campaign director for the After School Satan Club, said a parent contacted the Satanic Temple about implementing the program, according to WCMH.

The addition was in response to the school offering LifeWise, which is a once a week Christian-based program that teaches the Bible.

“We aren’t trying to shut the LifeWise Academy down, but I do think a lot of school districts don’t realize when they open the door for one religion, they open it for all of them,” Everett told the outlet.

LifeWise CEO and founder Joel Penton told the outlet parents should be able to make the decision on what’s best for their children.

“LifeWise isn’t fearful of other organizations offering RTRI,” Penton said. “We believe all families should have the opportunity to choose religious study during school hours and we trust parents to make the best choice for their children.”

Everett added the addition of the program showed there is religious freedom.

“When you see us operating our programs, it should be a healthy and happy reminder that religious freedom is still a choice and religious pluralism is still a thing here in our state, in our country,” Everett told WOSU.

Secret Service Agent Fired at Suspects Outside of Janet Yellen’s House

(Headline USA) An investigation is underway after a Secret Service agent working on protective assignment outside Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s house fired a weapon following a confrontation between the agent and occupants of a sedan, early Tuesday.

At roughly 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, the agent assigned to Yellen’s protective detail outside of her home, observed a sedan with multiple people attempting to open car doors along the street, according to Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi.

A confrontation between the agent and the car’s occupants led to gunfire. It was unclear how many shots were fired by the agent. The Secret Service said there is no evidence that anyone was harmed.

The suspects fled the scene in the sedan, and a lookout was issued to local law enforcement, Guglielmi said.

The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the shooting and the case will also be reviewed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Ex-FBI Director Comey’s Daughter Joins DOJ Team Prosecuting Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) A familiar face has joined the Justice Department’s team in the prosecution of Sean “Diddy” Combs: DOJ lawyer Maurene Comey, the daughter of former FBI Director James Comey.

Comey entered her appearance Monday in the U.S. government’s sex-trafficking case against Combs, the famous rapper with numerous connections to the Hollywood elite and Democrat Party.

Comey has been on some of the most recent high-profile cases in the Southern District of New York, including that of notorious sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.

In June, Comey filed a declaration to keep the FBI’s records on deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein secret, on the grounds that his former associate Maxwell could be granted a new trial soon.

“Because the majority of the records in this category were not introduced as public exhibits during Maxwell’s first trial, they remain non-public, though the Government may still seek to introduce them should Maxwell be granted a retrial,” Comey argued in June.

Comey’s concerns about a new trial were unfounded. Last week, an appeals court upheld her conviction on five charges of recruiting and grooming four underage girls for Epstein to abuse between 1994 and 2004. A judge has allowed the Epstein records to remain closed regardless, though it’s possible that another party could now sue for the records again since Maxwell’s case is closed.

Comey now looks set to participate in Combs’ trial, which is currently scheduled for May.

Combs was denied bail last month by a judge who cited evidence showing him to be a “serious risk” of witness tampering and proof he has tried to hide prohibited communications with third parties while incarcerated.

Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges that he coerced and abused women for years, aided by associates and employees. An indictment alleges that he silenced victims through blackmail and violence, including kidnapping, arson and physical beatings.

Lawyers for Combs say any alleged sexual abuse described in the indictment occurred during consensual relations between adults and that new evidence refutes allegations that Combs used his “power and prestige” to induce female victims into drugged-up, elaborately produced sexual performances with male sex workers known as “Freak Offs.”

Mom Sues Mattel Over Daughter’s ‘Wicked’ Dolls Linked to Porn Site

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) A South Carolina mother filed a class-action lawsuit Tuesday against toy giant Mattel after her daughter visited a pornographic website link printed on the box of her Wicked movie doll.

Social media users discovered in early November that a number of doll boxes in retail stores include a link to “Wicked.com” instead of “WickedMovie.com.”

The mother alleged that she and her daughter suffered “emotional distress” from the misprint, which she claimed Mattel did not offer a refund for, according to court documents.

“These scenes were hardcore, full on nude pornographic images depicting actual intercourse,” the lawsuit reads. “Plaintiff’s minor daughter immediately showed her mother the photographs and both were horrified by what they saw. If plaintiff had been aware of such an inappropriate defect in the product, she would not have purchased it.”

Mattel removed its dolls, based on the Universal Pictures film starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, from stores including Target, Amazon and Kohl’s last month, Variety reported.

The company, which also owns the Barbie brand, issued a statement saying Mattel was “aware of a misprint on the packaging of the Mattel ‘Wicked’ collection dolls, primarily sold in the United States, which intended to direct consumers to the official WickedMovie.com landing page.”

Mattel added that customers who already bought the Wicked dolls should “discard the product packaging or obscure the link,” according to the outlet.

Mattel did not address the lawsuit to the outlet, but said children can still play with the dolls without any issue from the error on the box.

“The Wicked Dolls have returned for sale with correct packaging at retailers online and in stores to meet the strong consumer demand for the products,” the company told Variety. “The previous misprint on the packaging in no way impacts the value or play experience provided by the product itself in the limited number of units sold before the correction.”

‘Never Seen Anything Like It’: Cruz Flabbergasted as Media Begs Biden for ‘More Pardons’

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, was flabbergasted on Wednesday’s episode of his podcast as leftist media pundits begged for President Joe Biden to issue “more pardons” following his decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden.

Biden released a statement Sunday evening pardoning his son from Jan. 2014 to Dec. 2024—despite previously saying he would not do so. On Verdict, Cruz suggested Democrats fear President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming reform of federal agencies, hence their reaction to Biden’s decision.

“Look, I think they are panicking. I think they are terrified about the incoming Department of Justice, about the incoming leadership of the FBI,” the senator said. “They’re terrified about Pam Bondi as attorney general. They’re terrified about Kash Patel as the director of the FBI, and they’re scrambling to seek cover.”

Cruz said everyone—White House staffers, reporters, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Democrat senators and Biden himself—knew Hunter Biden would inevitably be grated a pardon from his father.

“This is about protecting Joe. This is about protecting his own corruption,” he emphasized.

The Texas senator compared Biden’s pardon to a criminal using a juvenile to commit a crime, such as a teenage drug mule, to receive a lighter punishment.

“To be clear, Hunter was not working for our allies. He wasn’t working for France or Canada or the United Kingdom,” Cruz stressed. “He was working for oligarchs, corrupt oligarchs in Russia, in Ukraine, in Communist China, he sought out those who were enemies of America, and he sold favors from his dad, and it was incredibly lucrative.”

Cruz said he was surprised by corporate media’s spin that Biden should pardon as many people as possible to avoid the wrath of Trump’s bureaucratic takedown.

“Suddenly, the media is saying, ’Pardon Joe Biden’s brother. Pardon Joe Biden himself. Pardon everyone involved in the corruption. Pardon everyone involved in the FBI,'” he added. “‘Pardon everyone who abused their power. Pardon everyone who committed any criminal offense whatsoever.’”
