Ireland’s Free-Speech Crackdown a ‘Test Case’ for Global Thought-Control

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Red-pilled ex-liberal journalist Michael Shellenberger posted a stark warning to his Substack blog, noting that recent legislation being rammed through in Ireland may be the harbinger of a global conspiracy to undercut free speech.

The so-called the Hate Speech Bill purports to protect Irish citizens from hate crimes; but in reality, Shellenberger argued, it will only serve to curtail free speech and allow the state to punish anyone who speaks out against open borders and diversity—issues that have become particularly contentious for the Irish, as they have throughout other parts of the Western world.

As written, it allows authorities to enter the homes of private citizens, search their electronic devices and arrest them for the content they read and post online. Those who refuse may be subject to incarceration for up to a year.

“It sounds like a Black Mirror episode,” Shellenberger said in the video, referencing Netflix’s well-known dystopian series, a sort of high-tech Twilight Zone.

“… But it’s not a Black Mirror episode,” he added. “It’s worse than that. It’s real life.”

Shellenberger speculated that the “intelligence, military, and security agencies around the world” are behind the push for censorship, but especially the American elites who have spent decades “grotesquely abusing their power in a mad bid to take control of the Internet.”

According to the journalist, two leading Irish attorneys noted that the bill would allow entire swaths of society to be punished.

“One of the key features of the Bill is the provision for offences [sic] by corporate bodies,” the attorneys said.

The same attorneys also claimed that the bill, if it passes as is, constitutes an agreement between large global corporations and the Irish bureaucracy to censor anti-immigration opinions.

“The current iteration of the Bill provides a defence [sic] for the corporate body to show that it took all reasonable steps and exercised due diligence to avoid the commission of the particular offence [sic],” they said.

Corporations will, as a result, be required to set up additional compliance offices so that they can censor the words and thoughts of their employees, customers and stakeholders more generally.

In the words of the attorneys, corporations will “need to have the appropriate processes and procedures in place.”

The bill was almost dead-in-the-water until the recent anti-immigration protests that swept the nation in the wake of yet another act of Muslim terrorism—this time at the hands of an Algerian immigrant who allegedly stabbed a woman and three children outside a Dublin primary school.

Shellenberger urged people to visit the website of his nonprofit organization, Environmental Progress, which is spearheading an effort to fight the Hate Speech Bill as part of a broader fight against what he terms the Censorship Industrial Complex.

Kelsey Grammer Forced to Censor Pro-Trump Talk in ‘Frasier’ Interview

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Egregious double-standards are not just for the Justice Department when it comes to all things related to former President Donald Trump and his supporters.

With Susan Sarandon’s anti-Semitism being the exception to the rule, Hollywood actors are routinely applauded for their tactless and offensive Trump-bashing, as well as their shameless virtue-signaling for controversial leftist causes.

However, conservative stars, no matter how successful they become, continue to face the threat of cancellation for so much as a hint of political advocacy.

That appeared to be the case as Frasier star Kelsey Grammer, while promoting the popular ’90s-era sitcom’s recent reboot on Paramount+, became a bit too candid about his well-documented Republican values.

Leftist fans of the hit TV show pitched a fit when the lead actor spoke out in support of Trump during a recent interview—despite the fact that it got edited out.

Responding to a question from BBC reporter Justin Webb, Grammer said he would be “perfectly happy” to support Trump in the upcoming 2024 election, as he also supported him in 2020.

Paramount+ executives cut the interview short after Grammer voiced his approval of America’s 45th president, and that part of Webb and Grammer’s discussion was cut from the interview.

However, Webb later elaborated on the missing information, according to the National Pulse.

“I have to say, actually, Kelsey Grammer himself was perfectly happy to go on talking about it,” Webb said after the fact.

“The Paramount+ PR people, less happy that he talked about it at some length,” he added. “But I should stress that he was perfectly happy to talk about why he supports Donald Trump and still does in the forthcoming election.”

Predictably, the mostly-peaceful, leftist fans of Frasier reacted poorly to the news.

“I have no problem ‘shunning’ anyone that supports a hateful psychopath,” one Twitter user with a profile picture of a masked Mona Lisa said. “Goodbye Kelsey Grammer. You ruined Fraiser.”

“I am thoroughly disappointed by this,” another user said. “In an interview, Kelsey Grammer said he still supports Donald Trump and will back him to be President again in 2024. I had no idea he was a Trump fan.”

“Kelsey Grammer. 4 marriages and multiple affairs… and guess what, he’s a MAGA fan. How unsurprising,” another user said. “Good luck with the new Frasier launch. I’d sooner watch cat turds age.”

Grammer previously explained that Trump was a welcome disruption on Capitol Hill, and said he did not “think Washington did us any favors for the last 50, 60 years” during a 2019 PBS interview with far-left British–Iranian correspondent Christiane Amanpour.

“I think they’ve all been sort of the same party, the same bunch of clowns, the same bunch of really unpleasant people, and I don’t think they’ve been helping anybody but themselves,” Grammer added.

More recently, in a Fox News interview, he was able to touch indirectly on his conservative views by mentioning two other outspoken Trump-backing sitcom stars: Roseanne Barr and Tim Allen.

Grammer said that he was inspired by the two, both of whom, like himself, rose to the height of their fame on ’90s sitcoms, to reboot Frasier after seeing them enjoy a second run of success.

Both comedians have also dealt with cancel culture, however. Allen, who voiced Buzz Lightyear in the popular Toy Story franchise, was inexplicably replaced for the film Lightyear, which also drew backlash against the increasingly woke Disney for featuring a homosexual kiss and other inappropriate “groomer” themes.

Barr, after seeing tremendous success with the reboot of her Roseanne, known as The Conners, was booted off her own show for a controversial tweet comparing former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett to a character on the Planet of the Apes.

Final Sentences Given in Whitmer Kidnapping Plot

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) A Michigan judge handed down the final sentences in the three-year saga stemming from an alleged plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer—giving defendant Shawn Fix a minimum of three years imprisonment and Brian Higgins three years probation, according to local news site UpLive North.

Fix and Higgins both pled guilty earlier this year to providing material support for terrorism. Their co-defendants who went to trial were all exonerated in September.

As Headline USA reported last week, Higgins attempted to kill himself at least six times in jail before he pled guilty and was released in March.

“While pending trial, the prosecution learned from Antrim County Sheriff Daniel Bean that Defendant Higgins had attempted suicide at least six times while he was incarcerated in Antrim County by trying to drown himself in the toilet and by wrapping a towel around his neck to strangle himself,” Michigan prosecutors said in their Nov. 28 filing.

Higgins’s “crime” was participating in a “night-time surveillance” car ride to Whitmer’s home on Sept. 12, 2020.

While all the sentences have been rendered in the Whitmer case, the five men convicted in the plot still have appeals pending.

Those men face uphill battles in their appeals, due in large part to the fact that they were sent to federal prisons outside of Michigan—where they’ve been having difficulty communicating with lawyers or reviewing records about their cases.

Two of the men convicted in the federal case, Adam Fox and Barry Croft, were transferred to supermax facilities, while three men convicted in a state trial last year were also sent to out-of-state facilities.

Fox and Croft have both filed their appeals, and the Justice Department has until Dec. 13 to reply. The men from the state trial all have appeal deadlines looming this month.

Defense Secretary Allegedly Threatens to Send Legislators’ Families to War w/Russia

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) With Ukraine’s counteroffensive stalled and the number of dead soldiers piling up to the hundreds of thousands, even staunch war hawks such as Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., are starting to waver in their support for a U.S. proxy war against Russia.

The Biden administration and Pentagon are reportedly resorting to threats to cajole lawmakers into voting for another $61.4 billion in Ukraine aid. Congress has already authorized $100 billion to date.

“The Biden administration is openly threatening Americans over Ukraine. In a classified briefing in the House yesterday, defense secretary Lloyd Austin informed members that if they don’t appropriate more money for Zelensky, ‘we’ll send your uncles, cousins and sons to fight Russia,’” conservative news host Tucker Carlson said Thursday on Twitter.

“Pay the oligarchs or we’ll kill your kids.”

Carlson’s allegation follows White House official John Kirby promising that “American blood” will be the “cost” of supporting Ukraine if Congress stop sending money.

Carlson didn’t provide the full context of Austin’s statement. But given what Kirby said, it’s likely that Pentagon officials are fearmongering that Russia will attack a NATO ally next if it wins its war against Ukraine.

Pentagon predictions notwithstanding, there are multiple reasons to doubt that Russia would attack a NATO member—not the least being that such a move could trigger nuclear annihilation for the country, which President Vladimir Putin presumably does not want.

Moreover, evidence continues to mount that Russia was open to peace negotiations in early 2022 if Ukraine would promise not to join NATO.  Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said in February that the U.S. and its Western allies caused these negotiations to collapse.

“They blocked it, and I thought they were wrong,” he said at the time. “I’ll say this in the broad sense. I think there was a legitimate decision by the West to keep striking Putin and not [negotiate].”

So far in the conflict, Ukraine has been the only country to attack NATO—though the U.S. has also been implicated in a terrorist attack on the Nord Stream pipelines that run between Russia and Germany, the latter being a NATO member.

Last November, an errant Ukrainian missile hit Poland and killed two of that country’s citizens.

Perhaps more nefariously, a recent Washington Post report has exposed a former high-ranking Ukrainian official as the coordinator behind the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipelines—infrastructure that’s partially owned by NATO member Germany.

Vivek Steps on 3rd Rails: Jan. 6, 9/11 and ‘Great Replacement Theory’

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) When he wasn’t thrashing Nikki Haley or Chris Christie at Wednesday’s presidential debate, upstart contender Vivek Ramaswamy used his time to broach subjects that have long been deemed off limits by the mainstream media.

“Why am I the only person on this stage who can say that January 6 now does look like an inside job; that the government lied to us for 20 years about Saudi Arabia’s involvement in 9/11; that the ‘Great Replacement Theory’ isn’t some grand right-wing conspiracy theory, but a basic statement of the Democratic Party’s platform; that the 2020 election was indeed stolen by Big Tech; [and] that the 2016 election was also stolen from Trump by the national security establishment?” Ramaswamy asked.

Ramaswamy has taken heat in recent months for questioning 9/11.

But it was his reference to Jan. 6 and the Great Replacement Theory that especially triggered his critics. The Great Replacement Theory accurately posits that mass migration is shifting American demographics away from being a majority-white nation, but it has been demonized by liberal institutions as a hateful conspiracy theory.

“Literally, I was shaking listening to him talk,” CNN contributor Van Jones said after the debate, calling Ramaswamy’s talking points “one step away from Nazi propaganda.”

But Ramaswamy didn’t back down when CNN pressed him on his statements.

CNN reporter Dana Bash told Ramaswamy there’s “no evidence that [Jan. 6] was an inside job,” prompting the presidential candidate to question why the FBI still hasn’t given a full account of how many undercover agents and informants were on Capitol Hill that day.

“If you’d have told me nearly 3 years ago when I was just a CEO that Jan. 6 was an inside job, I would’ve said that’s crazy talk. It’s not. There is now clear evidence that there was at the very least entrapment of peaceful protestors, similar to the fake Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot & countless other cases,” he said on Twitter after the debate.

“The FBI won’t admit how many undercover officers were in the field on Jan 6, Capitol police on one hand fired rubber bullets & explosives into a peaceful crowd who they then willingly later allowed to enter the Capitol.”

Neocon Nikki Haley Stumped on Debate Stage by Geography Pop Quiz

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Using her brief stint at the United Nations to present herself as a foreign policy expert, presidential hopeful and virulent neocon Nikki Haley has loudly and frequently called for the U.S. to escalate its presence in the Ukraine war.

But during Wednesday’s GOP presidential debate, Haley was stumped when asked to name three Ukrainian provinces she would like to use American blood and treasure to defend. Haley was asked this question by competitor Vivek Ramaswamy, who has called for peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

Ramaswamy pointed out that many war hawks are starting to come around to his viewpoint that U.S. involvement in an Eastern European dispute is a dangerous fool’s errand. But Haley still sits in President Joe Biden’s camp when it comes to pushing for total war, he said.

“Foreign policy experience isn’t the same as foreign policy wisdom … One thing Joe Biden and Nikki Haley have in common is that neither of them could state for you three provinces in eastern Ukraine that they actually want to send our troops to fight for,” Ramaswamy said.

Instead of quickly naming three provinces, Haley stood there with a blank look on her face. Ramaswamy urged viewers to take stock of the embarassing situation.

“Look at that: This is what I want people to understand. These people—she has no idea what the hell the names of those provinces are that she wants to send our sons and daughters and our troops and military equipment to go fight for,” Ramaswamy remarked.

“So, reject this myth that they’ve been selling you—that someone who had a cup of coffee at the UN and makes $8 million after has real foreign policy experience.”

Haley reportedly did eventually name three provinces: Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea. However, Crimea has been Russian territory since 2014.

Haley was lambasted by all corners of the internet for her debate performance.

However, the establishment continues to embrace her. Last week, Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime banker endorsed her for president.

“Even if you’re a very liberal Democrat, I urge you, help Nikki Haley, too. Get a choice on the Republican side that might be better than Trump,” JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon said last Wednesday at a conference hosted by the New York Times’ DealBook franchise.

And Haley’s big-money backing reportedly has her rising in the polls, her globalist anti-liberty policy positions notwithstanding. A recent CNN poll put Haley showed that about 20% of the voters supported her in New Hampsire, putting her in second place behind Trump in that state.

‘Bunch of Lies’: Biden Throws Tantrum When Confronted w/ Ties to Bribery

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden appeared agitated when questioned about his alleged involvement in the questionable business dealings of his son, Hunter Biden, and brother, James Biden.

During a Wednesday press conference, Biden dismissed accusations raised by House Republicans as “a bunch of lies.”

Citing an Associated Press poll showing that Americans believed Biden played a role in the business dealings, New York Post reporter Steven Nelson inquired why the president had interactions with “so many of” Hunter Biden’s and James Biden’s associates.

Biden defiantly brushed off Nelson’s questions, stating, “I’m not going to comment on that. I did not. And it’s just a bunch of lies.”

Nelson persisted, pressing, “You didn’t interact with… any of their business associates?” to which Biden responded, “They’re lies.”

A seemingly irked Biden reiterated, “I did not. They’re lies.”

The reporter’s probing questions follow a poll indicating that a significant 70% of Americans, including 40% of Democrats, believe Biden acted illegally or unethically in his family members’ controversial business affairs.

The Associated Press survey follows other polls showing the president either tied or trailing in potential match-ups with former President Donald Trump in critical swing states, as reported by the New York Times.

Moreover, allegations surrounding Biden’s potential involvement in bribery, political corruption and an alleged influence-peddling scheme are at the core of a looming impeachment vote led by House Republicans expected in the upcoming weeks.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., emphasized the necessity of an impeachment vote over accusations that the Biden White House is obstructing requests for information from the three congressional committees leading the impeachment inquiry.

The Biden White House has dismissed the allegations of wrongdoing, asserting there is no evidence linking the president to his family’s business dealings.

On the other hand, the House Judiciary Committee, the House Oversight Committee and the House Ways and Means Committee raised significant questions about alleged payments received by Biden himself from one of his brother’s firms.

Most recently, House Republicans disclosed recurring payments from Hunter Biden’s controversial firm, Owasco PAC, which congressional investigators stated received funds from China and other sources.

Calif. to Fine Stores that Don’t Have ‘Gender Neutral’ Kids Toy Section

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Next month, a new law is due to come into effect in the state of California that will force stores to comply with radical “gender” ideology under the threat of fines if they fail to bend the knee.

The law that will come into effect on Jan. 1, 2024, would mandate stores that sell children’s items to have a “gender-neutral” section, according to Slay News.

A state government website confirmed the details of the new woke law.

Any company that sells “childcare items” or toys and employs a minimum of 500 employees across store locations must follow the new law.

According to the law’s text, it requires that the stores offer a section where “a reasonable selection of the items and toys for children that it sells shall be displayed, regardless of whether they have been traditionally marketed for either girls or for boys.”

Stores that would decide to not comply with the law could face a civil penalty, being charged $250 after the first offense and then be hit with $500 fines for each additional offense.

“Unjustified differences in similar products that are traditionally marketed either for girls or for boys can be more easily identified by the consumer if similar items are displayed closer to one another in one, undivided area of the retail sales floor. Keeping similar items that are traditionally marketed either for girls or for boys separated makes it more difficult for the consumer to compare the products and incorrectly implies that their use by one gender is inappropriate,” the text of the law said.

Back in September, Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., expressed his desire to push LGBT propaganda on regular people.

“California is proud to have some of the most robust laws in the nation when it comes to protecting and supporting our LGBTQ+ community, and we’re committed to the ongoing work to create safer, more inclusive spaces for all Californians. These measures will help protect vulnerable youth, promote acceptance, and create more supportive environments in our schools and communities,” he said.

House Investigates Georgia DA’s Potential Coordination w/ J6 Committee

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The House Judiciary Committee has initiated an inquiry into claims suggesting Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis might have “coordinated” with the anti-Trump Jan. 6 Committee.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., launched the investigation following accusations that the Fulton County DA’s office shared “investigative actions” with the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol.

The conservative lawmakers explicitly accuse Willis of requesting the select committee to share evidence concerning Trump’s alleged efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential elections in Georgia.

In a letter addressed to Willis, Jordan and Loudermilk point out that such collaboration presents a potential concern, as the Jan. 6 Committee faced severe criticism regarding partisanship, “procedural abuses” and “due process violations.”

Following the release of the letter, Loudermilk expressed concerns about the findings. “This new information raises questions about Willis’ and Thompson’s commitment to due process, and whether House Rules were violated when the Select Committee failed to properly disclose this material,” he said in a press statement.

Willis’s investigation into the Trump campaign coincided with the Jan. 6 committee’s probe. Her inquiry ultimately resulted in charges against Trump, including a count of violating the Georgia RICO Act, criminal conspiracy, filing false documents and making false statements, as reported by Fox News.

Trump, in his bid for the White House in the 2024 election, pleaded not guilty to the charges and has since accused Willis of orchestrating a witch hunt against his campaign.

The allegations suggesting that Willis may have exchanged or sought information from Congress surface amid her office’s collaboration with Special Counsel Jack Smith, who has also pressed charges against Trump for contesting the 2020 election results.

The letter addressed to Willis added, “Although it is not clear what records, if any, you obtained from your coordination with the partisan January 6 Select Committee, this new information raises additional questions relevant to the Committee’s oversight of your politically motivated prosecution of a former President of the United States and several former senior federal officials.”

The lawmakers have formally requested all “documents and communications” exchanged between Willis’s office and the Jan. 6 committee within the period from July 1 2021 to Jan. 3 2023.

In prior instances, both the Judiciary Committee and Willis have clashed over information requests. Willis accused Jordan of lacking congressional authority to seek information related to criminal charges against the former president in Fulton County.

Conversely, Jordan countered, highlighting Willis’s pursuit to incarcerate a former president and multiple federal employees

Communist China Uses Climate to ‘Subvert’ U.S.

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was revealed that China decided to become the world’s dominant world power by 2049 by making the United States energy-dependent on Chinese minerals while the leftist government in America pursues “green energy” policies.

“China is using climate to subvert the United States. China has gotten the United States and Western Europe, and really all the developed countries, hooked on green technology,” Steve Malloy, a senior legal fellow at the Energy and Environment Legal Institute, said.

Technologies such as wind turbines, solar panels, and electric vehicles are at the heart of this alternative energy, with these technologies being reliant on certain critical raw materials, such as graphite and rare earth elements, the Epoch Times reported.

It was also revealed that, for many of these materials, China — the United States’ top adversary — is the world’s major supplier and processor.

“I think their strategy is to get the Western world dependent on China for technology. It’s a fighting without fighting,” Malloy said.

He also cited an example of rare earths, a group of 17 elements that China has a near global monopoly on.

“And all these rare earths go into wind technology and solar technology, EVs, as well as our cell phones and computers. The whole world really depends on China for this,” Malloy said.

However, minerals that fall under this label aren’t actually that rare, with the United States Geological Survey [USGS] describing rare earths as “relatively abundant.”

“It’s just that they’re present in [the] soil at very low concentrations. So you have to strip mine do this,” Malloy said.

He also said that the reason why the Western countries stopped mining rare earths was because of the environmental pressure, as such practices are notoriously polluting.

“But you can strip mine in China. They have no environmental regulations. So China has volunteered to do this,” Malloy said.

According to data that was compiled by the USGS, China now accounts for 70% of global rare earth mined production and a 2019 study by consultancy firm Adamas Intelligence revealed that China at the time accounted for 85% of the global capability to transform these mined minerals into usable forms for manufacturers.

Even though the sole reliance of the United States on China eased in recent years, America still imports most of its rare earths from the communist country. The USGS data also showed that China was responsible for 74% of rare earths imported to the United States from 2018 to 2021, which is down from 80% between 2014 and 2017.
