Biden Admin Admits 5K Illegals Released Daily, 670K Known ‘Gotaways’ in FY23 Alone

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The Biden administration told Congress on Friday that an average of 5,000 illegal immigrants is released daily at the southern border, with at least 670,000 individuals known as “‘gotaways’” having evaded border authorities in fiscal year 2023 alone.

As reported by Fox News, DHS officials made the telling admission during a briefing with the House and Senate Judiciary committees, the House and Senate Homeland Security committees and the Arizona congressional delegation.

Officials stated that these immigrants are handed over to non-governmental organizations, which then aid them in reaching their final destinations.

At the current rate, an estimated total of 1.8 million illegal aliens might have entered the U.S. by the end of the fiscal year, Fox reported.

The process involving alleged refugee seekers has also seen an increase, with an average of 1,600 individuals using the controversial CBP One app to apply for refugee status. Notably, DHS officials reportedly informed Congress that immigrants from at least 150 countries have been encountered at the border.

During the briefing, DHS officials were questioned about the actions, if any, being taken by the Biden administration to prevent illegal aliens from openly using trains to cross the southern border.

However, one official expressed that the “safety and security” of illegal aliens riding trains was “a major concern” but did not provide any details regarding potential efforts to block this method of entry.

These new revelations emerge as critics raise alarms about the frequent appearance of videos depicting a high number of individuals described as “military-aged” men being apprehended at the southern border.

In a striking development, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., proposed a controversial idea of allowing some of these illegal aliens to join the U.S. military.

“Do you know what the recruiting numbers are at the Army, Navy and Air Force? They can’t find enough people. And there are undocumented people who want to serve this country. Should we give them the chance? I think we should,” Durbin said during a now-viral speech on the Senate floor.

Illegal Alien Arrested in Slaying of 16-Year-Old High School Cheerleader

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A 23-year-old illegal immigrant was arrested on Saturday for the capital murder of Lizabeth Medina, a beloved 16-year-old high school cheerleader whose body was discovered in her apartment bathtub.

Rafael Govea Romero, identified as an “undocumented male,” was apprehended by the Edna Police Department in Texas and charged with charged with murder.

The tragic ordeal came to light when Jacqueline Medina, the girl’s mother, noticed her daughter, whom she described as “loving, kind and big-hearted,” did not attend a Christmas parade event with her cheerleading squad. She later found Lizabeth’s lifeless body in their home.

Following the discovery, local authorities and Texas Rangers initiated an investigation, focusing on a person linked to a vehicle parked near Medina’s residence.

Govea Romero was subsequently captured in Schulenburg, Edna Police Chief Rick Boone said in a press release posted on Facebook.

“Although Romero is apprehended, we recognize Lizabeth’s family and friends are grieving and will still need support from the community. The citizens of Edna can now sleep in peace,” he said.

While law enforcement didn’t immediately clarify the motive behind the murder, Jacqueline Medina expressed her belief that the man knew her daughter because there was no sign of forced entry.

Jacqueline Medina, speaking to KAVU-TV, described the tragic passing of her daughter. “My daughter was found in a way that no mother should ever find their child,” she said. “I lost it. She was my world, my everything. Everywhere, everything I do was for her.”

Expressing her profound sorrow and hope for justice, she added, “Words can’t explain what I felt at that moment finding my daughter in the matter that she was. All I can say is that I hope with all my heart that there is justice for my daughter.

Dem-Backed Jackson Lee Loses Houston Election

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Embattled Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, who sought to become the first black mayor of Houston, was embarrassingly defeated by state Sen. John Whitmire by nearly a 30-percentage-point advantage.

Despite receiving the endorsement of some of the most influential Democratic politicians, the Associated Press called the Dec. 9 election for Whitmire, delivering a blow to Lee Jackson, whose campaign was mired in politically damning controversies.

Earlier this year, a disturbing audio emerged, purportedly showing Lee Jackson berating her staffers for not having calendar information readily available. “F**king idiots serve no goddamn purpose,” the voice attributed to Lee said. “Nobody gives a shit about what you’re doing, and you ain’t doing shit.”

Most recently, Jackson Lee came under mockery on Twitter for releasing an ad telling her supporters to vote on Dec. 7—two days before the election.

Whitmire celebrated the voters’ decision in a series of social media posts, including sharing a photo showing his strong lead against Jackson Lee.

“Voters have spoken, and I am humbly grateful to the people of Houston for electing me as their next mayor,” he said on Twitter. “While this marks the beginning of the true challenge ahead, as you all know, my only reason for running was to make a difference.”

Houston voters supported Whitmire despite the plethora of high-profile endorsements received by Jackson Lee’s campaign, including those of former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and former Texas gubernatorial candidate Robert O’Rourke.

Social media observers flooded Twitter with celebratory messages and mocking comments aimed at Jackson Lee, who will remain a U.S. Representative.

“Sheila Jackson Lee – and her main endorser Mrs Clinton – just got their asses handed to them,” said conservative commentator and podcast host Monica Crowley on Twitter. Another user chimed in, saying, “Sheila Jackson Lee didn’t just lose, she got beat like a rented mule. That has to sting the old racist, abusive haint.”

Trump Warns Biden on Indictments: ‘Be Careful What You Wish For’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Former President Donald Trump delivered a scorching rebuke against President Joe Biden’s DOJ for opening a “Pandora’s box” by indicting a former president.

“He’s opened up a Pandora’s box that will never let our country be the same. I can only say to Joe: Be very careful what you wish for, but you have done is a terrible thing,” said Trump during a Saturday speech at a reception hosted by the New York Young Republican Club at a lower Manhattan restaurant.

Approximately 1,000 guests dined cheerfully as they awaited Trump, who is on his third run for president, the New York Post reported on Sunday.

The former president and leading Republican presidential candidate’s remarks come as he faces a whopping total of 91 felony counts from two state and two federal investigations, all of which have been ordered or initiated by Democrats.

“I am being indicted for you. These are not indictments in the traditional sense. These are Biden indictments against their political opponent,” Trump added.

Despite the indictments, Trump has positioned himself well as the presumed nominee for GOP president in the 2024 election. Notably, several polls have shown Trump either leading or tying Biden in several key states.

“I am the first guy who ever got indicted whose poll number went up,” he said, reportedly drawing comparisons to Al Capone.

During his speech, Trump took a jab at the rampant illegal immigration chaos embroiling the Biden White House.

“We’re going to take New York,” Trump said, prompting crowd to break into applause. “I believe we have a great chance … With hundreds of thousands of people living on the sidewalks and streets and illegal aliens invading our city and state like nobody thought possible.”

In New York City, illegal immigrants have flooded the city’s shelter system, prompting Mayor Eric Adams, once a Democrat darling and Biden ally, to deliver dire warnings about the uncontrolled flow of illegal migration to the city.

During a September town hall meeting, Adams said, “I’m gonna tell you something, New Yorkers, never in my life have I had a problem that I didn’t see an ending to.”

He added, “I don’t see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City.”

Two Police Officers Wounded in Shootout

(Headline USA) A police pursuit of a suspected gunman ended in a shootout that left two officers and a suspect wounded, police said.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. Sunday, interim city Police Commissioner John Stanford said, after officers responded to reports of gunfire and saw a pickup truck that was believed to have been involved in that shooting.

Officers tried to stop the truck, but the driver drove off.

Officers soon spotted the truck again and the pursuit ended when the driver rammed a police car.

He then got out and started shooting at police, Stanford said.

Four officers returned fire, striking the man at least once. He was taken to a hospital and underwent surgery, and he was listed in critical condition.

One officer had a head wound while another was shot in the leg and face. Both were in stable condition and their injuries were not considered life-threatening. Stanford said one of the injured officers had been wounded in a previous shooting, but he didn’t immediately disclose additional details.

The names of the officers and the suspected shooter were not immediately released. No other injuries were reported in the chase or the shootout.

Central Tennessee Ravaged by Lethal Storm

(Headline USA) Severe storms that tore through central Tennessee killed six people Saturday and sent about two dozen to the hospital as homes and businesses were damaged in multiple cities.

Three people, including a child, were killed after an apparent tornado struck Montgomery County north of Nashville near the Kentucky state line, county officials said in a news release. And the Nashville Emergency Operation Center said in a post on a social media account that three people were killed by severe storms in a neighborhood just north of downtown. Meanwhile, another 23 people were treated for injuries at hospitals in Montgomery County.

Photos posted by the Clarksville fire department on social media showed damaged houses with debris strewn in the lawns, a tractor trailer flipped on its side on a highway and insulation ripped out of building walls.

“This is devastating news and our hearts are broken for the families of those who lost loved ones,” said Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts in a statement. “The city stands ready to help them in their time of grief.”

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department identified the victims killed north of downtown as Joseph Dalton, 37; Floridema Gabriel Perez, 31, and her son, Anthony Elmer Mendez, 2. Dalton was inside his mobile home when the storm tossed it on top of Perez’s residence. Two other children, one in each home, were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the department said in a statement.

No further information about the other three deaths was immediately available Saturday night.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that a tornado touched down around 2 p.m. A shelter was set up at a local high school.

Residents were asked to stay at home while first responders evaluated the situation. In a briefing shared on social media, Pitts said there was extensive damage.

“So please, if you need help, call 911 and help will be on the way immediately. But if you can, please stay home. Do not get out on the roads. Our first responders need time and space,” he said.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee said he and his wife, Maria, were praying for all Tennesseans who had been affected by the storms.

“We mourn the lives lost and ask that everyone continue to follow guidance from local and state officials,” Lee said in a statement.

Shanika Washington said that as soon as she heard the storm sirens going off in her Clarksville neighborhood, she took her children, ages 5 and 10, to a windowless bathroom in the basement of her townhouse.

“The lights were flickering, so I knew it was somewhere close in the vicinity,” she said. “I just kept praying to God as it was going on. It was very terrifying and scary.”

During their 20 harrowing minutes in the bathroom, Washington hovered over her children as a protective shield.

“The back door absolutely did fly open, and you just heard a bunch of wind,” she said. “The blinds and stuff were like shaking really bad. I could tell that we were dead smack in the middle of a storm.”

When she came out of the bathroom, she looked out of a window and saw the destruction: Debris swept onto cars that had their windows broken out. Shutters ripped from homes. Some roofs were ripped off townhouses. Air conditioning units and backyard grills were tossed like toys, and wooden dividers between townhouses were missing.

Because the power in the area was out, Washington took her children to a hotel for the night.

“I’m still shaken up a little bit, so I probably won’t get much sleep tonight,” Washington said. “I’m still trying to just kind of like process it all.”

Allie Phillips, who lives in Clarksville, said she was grabbing lunch when she began receiving notifications that a tornado was quickly approaching her neighborhood.

“It was excruciating watching the live stream and not knowing if my house was still there,” she said. “When we finally decided to leave, the road to my home was shut down because so many power lines were on the road and we had to take a detour.”

Phillips said her home survived with minimal damage – noting that her daughter’s toys were banged up and that a neighbor’s dog kennel hit the back of her home – but she was saddened to see that her neighbor’s house was missing a roof and a home up the block had all but completely disappeared.

The National Weather Service issued multiple tornado warnings in Tennessee, and said it planned to survey an area where an apparent tornado hit in Kentucky.

More than 80,000 electricity customers were without power in Tennessee on Saturday night, according to PowerOutage.us.

The storm came nearly two years to the day after the National Weather Service recorded 41 tornadoes through a handful of states, including 16 in Tennessee and eight in Kentucky. A total of 81 people died in Kentucky alone.

Alex Jones is Back on Twitter

(Headline USA) Elon Musk has restored the Twitter account of Alex Jones, pointing to a poll on the social media platform that came out in favor of the Infowars host.

Musk had hinted about the possibility of reinstating Jones earlier.

Jone’s reinstatement may anger leftist advertisers who have left Twitter and complained about “hate speech” on the free speech platform.

Musk posted a poll on Saturday asking if Jones should be reinstated, with the results showing 70% of those who responded in favor.

Early Sunday, Musk tweeted, “The people have spoken and so it shall be.”

A few hours later, Jones’ posts were visible again and he retweeted a post about his video game.

He and his Infowars show had been “permanently” banned in 2018.

Musk, who has described himself as a free speech absolutist, said the move was about protecting those rights.

In response to a user who posted that “permanent account bans are antithetical to free speech,” Musk wrote, “I find it hard to disagree with this point.”

Restoring Jones’ account comes as Musk has seen a slew of big brands, including Disney and IBM, stop advertising on X after a report by leftist advocacy group Media Matters said ads were appearing alongside “pro-Nazi” content and “white nationalist” posts.

Musk has said advertisers are engaging in “blackmail” and, using a profanity, told them to go away.

“Don’t advertise,” Musk said in an on-stage interview late last month at The New York Times DealBook Summit.

After buying Twitter last year, Musk said he was granting “amnesty” for suspended accounts and has since reinstated President Donald Trump; Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West; and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Trump, who was banned for encouraging the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection, has his own social media site, Truth Social, and has only tweeted once since being allowed back on Twitter.

Trump Endorses Victim of Ariz. 2022 Stolen Election for Congress

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Donald Trump issued his endorsement to Republican congressional candidate Abe Hamadeh on Friday, which would handle the former Arizona Attorney General candidate a likely boost in a contested GOP primary since he wasn’t able to win the 2022 election because it was stolen.

“Abe Hamadeh is a veteran, a former prosecutor and a fearless fighter for our elections. He will be a true WARRIOR in Congress, and always put America First! As everyone knows, Abe fought for our Country overseas and knows that the American people are demanding the kind of bold leadership that ushered in peace and prosperity just three years ago,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He then continued explaining why he supports Hamadeh.

“Abe Hamadeh is Strong on the Border, the Military/Vets, Crime, Cutting Taxes, Election Integrity and Protecting our Great Second Amendment. He knows that if the flame of freedom is extinguished, it may never come back again. These are the reasons why I am giving Abe Hamadeh my Complete and Total Endorsement in his quest to be the Congressman from District 8, representing the Great State of Arizona—He will never let you down!” Trump wrote.

In return, Hamadeh thanked Trump for the endorsement, according to Just the News.

“I am humbled and honored that President Trump recognizes the importance of this race and believes in me to be the America First fighter that we need in Washington,” he said.

Hamadeh then expressed his support of Trump, thus cementing his image as a MAGA Republican.

“My support for President Trump has never wavered, and my commitment to the people of Arizona and our entire nation is stronger than ever. In 2024, everything is on the line and we need leaders that will fight for America First values and work tirelessly to restore and rejuvenate American greatness. We are one day closer to a brighter future,” he said.

In October 2023, Hamadeh announced that he would seek election to the seat of retiring Rep. Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz., just hours after she announced her retirement.

The Republican primary also includes former Arizona GOP Senate candidate Blake Masters and Arizona House Speaker Ben Toma, whom Lesko endorsed.

NY Times Reporter Flashes Colleagues on Zoom Call

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was revealed that a high-level reporter who works for the New York Times flashed her colleagues during a Dec. 7, 2023, morning Zoom call.

The accident prompted an editor who was leading the online gathering to scramble and remove the female reporter from the online meeting, according to the Messenger.

The unnamed female reporter didn’t realize that her camera was on when she appeared on her colleagues’ video screens during morning deliberations with the Times’s editors. The full-frontal did not appear to be intentional, a person who is familiar with the meeting said.

As of Nov. 10, 2023, the propaganda outlet has not yet acknowledged the incident or issued a statement.

During 2020 and 2021 — the years of COVID-19 virus obsession — online meetings became common in the corporate world as employees were sitting in their homes while juggling their job responsibilities and checking in with their superiors.

Even though the latest incident was not the first involving members of the mainstream media, it seems to be the first one, in which a senior reporter was involved.

CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin was fired in October 2020 after he was caught masturbating on camera following a work meeting, according to Trending Politics. The scandalous case garnered global attention, which led to the reporter issuing a public apology, aside from being fired from the company. Eight months later, he returned to tell viewers in his debut that his actions were “deeply moronic and indefensible.” Less than two years later, he announced his retirement from the network.

However, it appears that on-camera glitterati also had an experience of behaving inappropriately in front of cameras. On Dec. 6, 2023, a BBC anchor was caught giving the middle finger to the camera before realizing she was on-air, after which she quickly composed herself with, “Live from London, this is BBC News.”

‘One Down’: Penn’s President Quits After Refusal to Condemn Jewish Genocide

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) University of Pennsylvania President Elizabeth Magill resigned on Saturday following her refusal to condemn disturbing chants calling for the genocide of Jewish individuals, the university announced Saturday.

Magill faced intense scrutiny during a congressional hearing, alongside leaders from Harvard University and MIT, regarding whether advocating for the genocide of Jewish people violates the University of Pennsylvania’s rules of conduct.

Scott L. Bok, the chairman of the board of trustees, announced Magill’s departure in press statement issued on Saturday afternoon.

“I write to share that President Liz Magill has voluntarily tendered her resignation as President of the University of Pennsylvania. She will remain a tenured faculty member at Penn Carey Law,” Bok said, adding that Magill agreed to stay on as interim president until a replacement is found.

In a statement, Magill expressed gratitude for serving as the institution’s president.

“It has been my privilege to serve as President of this remarkable institution. It has been an honor to work with our faculty, students, staff, alumni, and community members to advance Penn’s vital missions,” Magill claimed.

Her resignation followed a threat from major donor Ross Stevens, who vowed to withdraw a $100 million gift after Magill inexplicably declined to outrightly condemn explicit calls for the genocide of Jewish individuals.

During the hearing, Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., questioned Magill directly: “Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate Penn’s rules or code of conduct?”

“It is a context-dependent decision,” Magill replied. “If the speech becomes conduct, it can be harassment.”

Stefanik persisted, asking, “‘Conduct’ meaning committing the act of genocide? The speech is not harassment? This is unacceptable.”

Magill’s testimony drew widespread criticism, including from Gov. Josh Shapiro, D-Pa., and conservative state Sen. Doug Mastriano, R-Pa.

“That was an unacceptable statement from the president of Penn,” Shapiro remarked. “Frankly, I thought her comments were absolutely shameful. It should not be hard to condemn genocide.”

Echoing Shapiro, Mastriano said, “Her tolerance of antisemitism on campus is abhorrent.”

Critics took to Twitter to praise the resignation, directing attention toward Harvard President Claudine Gay and MIT President Sally Kornbluth.

“One down. Two to go,” said Stefanik on a lengthy Twitter post. “This is only the very beginning of addressing the pervasive rot of antisemitism that has destroyed the most ‘prestigious’ higher education institutions in America.”
