DC Forced to Purge 100K Ineligible Voters from ‘Dirty Voter Rolls’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The District of Columbia has recently taken action to remove the names of over 100,000 ineligible voters from what a conservative non-profit has described as “dirty voter rolls.”

This decision was prompted by a scathing letter from Judicial Watch to the District of Columbia Board of Elections, highlighting the government’s failure to comply with the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) of 1993, which mandates the removal of inactive voters from registration rolls.

“In response to our inquiries, Washington, DC, officials admitted that they had not complied with the NVRA, promptly removed 65,544 outdated names from the voting rolls, promised to remove 37,962 more, and designated another 73,522 registrations as ‘inactive,’” the conservative group announced on Friday.

Judicial Watch has also targeted California and Illinois, notifying them of reported NVRA violations.

“The NVRA requires states to ‘conduct a general program that makes a reasonable effort to remove’ from the official voter rolls ‘the names of ineligible voters’ who have died or changed residence,” Judicial Watch highlighted in its press release.

According to the federal statute, voter registration is required for individuals who fail to respond to address confirmation notices. If such voters subsequently fail to participate in the next two general elections, removal becomes mandatory under federal law, as confirmed by a Supreme Court ruling.

The conservative non-profit raised concerns that these necessary purges were not being carried out based on publicly available data.

“DC reported removing zero voter registrations in the last two-year reporting period for failing to respond to an address confirmation notice and failing to vote for two consecutive general federal elections,” they said in a November letter addressed to the D.C. Board of Elections.

Allegedly, the Board of Elections acknowledged that these removals were delayed due to staffing shortages among other issues.

“DC’s total registration rate—its total number of registrations divided by the most recent census estimates of its citizen voting-age population—is greater than 131%,” Judicial Watch noted.

“Dirty voter rolls increase the potential for voter fraud,” the non-profit cautioned.

Biden Associate to Testify Amid Impeachment Inquiry in January

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Eric Schwerin, the former president of the Hunter Biden investment firm Rosemont Seneca Partners, is set to testify before the House Oversight Committee in January, as reported by the New York Post on Saturday.

Schwerin has long been implicated in the finances of Hunter Biden and has had interactions with President Joe Biden. He was served with a Congressional subpoena on Nov. 9, as House Republicans pushed forward with their impeachment inquiry into the president.

According to the NY Post, Schwerin is expected to participate in a behind-closed-doors deposition, similar to the one given by Devon Archer, the former business partner of Hunter Biden.

The deposition report follows a federal indictment against the scandal-ridden son of the president. Special Counsel David Weiss charged Hunter Biden with three felony counts of tax evasion and filing a false return. He also faced six misdemeanor counts of failure to pay and failure to file for the years 2016 through 2019.

Schwerin’s name initially surfaced in the infamous Hunter Biden laptop and was referenced in the testimony of IRS whistleblowers, as indicated by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo.

“The materials they provided confirm that Eric Schwerin played a significant role in Hunter Biden’s financial dealings and apparently had interactions directly with Joe Biden,” Smith stated in a press release announcing the subpoena.

The Ways and Means Committee, alongside the House Oversight Committee and the House Judiciary Committee, have been investigating the Biden family regarding allegations of political corruption, bribery, and an alleged influence-peddling scheme that reportedly implicates the president directly.

In a letter addressed to Schwerin’s attorneys, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comes, R-Ky., and House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan, R-Ohio., detailed Schwerin’s close involvement in the president’s finances.

“Mr. Schwerin worked closely with the Biden family members, Biden associates, and Biden corporate entities that the Committees have identified as transferring millions of dollars to the Bidens, often from foreign sources. Indeed, the Committees have reviewed bank records indicating Mr. Schwerin had access to bank accounts the Committees believe are relevant to the Committees’ investigation,” they said at the time.

Schwerin was not the only individual tied to the Biden family to face subpoenas. Mervyn Yan, a business associate of Hunter Biden, George Bergès, a gallerist, and Elizabeth Naftali, an art patron, were all requested to appear for depositions.

Biden’s ‘Over a Billion, 300 Million, Trillion’ Claim Raises Concerns

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden was caught on Friday using an astronomically fabricated figure while highlighting his purported multi-billion-dollar investment in 10 major passenger rail projects.

During a speech in Las Vegas marked by several verbal stumbles, Biden declared that his administration would be investing “over a billion, 300 million, trillion, 300 million dollars” in the new project.

However, according to press statements, Biden intended to announce $8.2 billion in federal funding for railway development spanning from Nevada to Los Angeles. This initiative, as reported by the Daily Mail, is projected to be finalized by 2028 and could potentially accommodate 11 million passengers annually.

The non-existent figure provided by Biden drew criticism and mockery on Twitter, with many questioning the coherence of the 81-year-old president’s speech. Collin Rugg, co-founder of Trending Politics News, sarcastically remarked, “I’ll admit, that’s impressive! […] Very cool!”

Author and EpochTV host Hans Mahncke highlighted the incoherence in Biden’s statement: “I think he said ‘over a billion three hundred million trillion trillion million dollars’, i.e. 300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.”

Political commentator Stephen L. Miller humorously linked Biden’s nonsensical figure to his son, Hunter Biden. “When ur trying to calculate how much your son blew on hookers and coke,” Miller said. “Not judging.”

Miller also made a comment likely referring to bipartisan concerns about Biden’s mental acuity, stating, “He’s fine.”

Bonchie, an author for RedState, expressed astonishment, exclaiming, “Holy sweet baby Moses, what is happening?”

In addition to Biden’s numerical mishap, the president recounted a false story about his frequent use of the Amtrak train from Delaware to Washington.

However, fact-checking revealed discrepancies in the timeline of events. Biden claimed that former Amtrak employee Angelo Negri told him he had traveled over a million miles on Amtrak, surpassing that milestone on Air Force Two.

This story was debunked as Negri retired in 1993 when Biden was a senator, and he passed away in 2014, well before the alleged milestone on Air Force Two in 2015.

Biden repeated this false claim in November, adding to a list of 12 known false statements made since he assumed the presidency, according to the New York Post. The latest claim marked the 13th time Biden spews the made up story.

VIDEO: Texas, Florida Troopers Apprehend More Human Smugglers in Border Communities

(Bethany Blankley, The Center Square) – Texas and Florida state troopers, as well as sheriff’s deputies, continue to apprehend human smugglers in the small border community of Brackettville, in Kinney County, Texas.

A Texas DPS trooper, assisted by a Florida Highway Patrol trooper, recently conducted a traffic stop in Brackettville, which led to a human smuggling bust.

The stop occurred at night in a residential neighborhood when a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper and FHP trooper pulled over the driver of a Chevrolet Camero.

The driver was a Honduran national in the U.S. illegally.

After pulling over and coming to a stop, the driver and three others – all men – bail out of the car and flee on foot, running into the neighborhood, a Texas Department of Public Safety video shows. Troopers pursued and apprehended all of them, DPS said.

The video shows bodycam footage from one trooper who caught one man after he ran through private property and was apprehended right in front of a resident’s front door.

The driver was charged with human smuggling; two Mexican nationals were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol, DPS said.

A DPS Trooper, assisted by a Trooper from the Florida Highway Patrol, were conducting a traffic stop in Kinney County when three people, including the human smuggler bailed out and fled on foot. Troopers pursued and apprehended the suspects. The smuggler is an illegal immigrant from Honduras. He was arrested and charged. Two other illegal immigrants were referred to Border Patrol.

In another human smuggling event, TX DPS and FHP troopers in neighboring Val Verde County arrested two juveniles for smuggling of persons. Both face felony state charges. During the arrest, one of the juveniles resisted arrest and attempted to evade capture.

The driver did not have a driver’s license.

Troopers also apprehended four illegal foreign nationals who were inside the vehicle, including a 9-year-old Mexican. They were turned over to Border Patrol agents.

In another human smuggling bust in Kinney County, troopers stopped five Mexican nationals from being smuggled into the U.S.

The driver, Victor DeJesus, from Austin, led troopers on a high-speed vehicle pursuit along RM-693 in Kinney County. After troopers successfully deployed a tire deflation device, DeJesus was stopped and arrested without incident. Troopers then discovered there were five Mexicans hiding inside the vehicle.

DeJesus was charged with evading arrest and smuggling of persons. When told he was being arrested for human smuggling, he said “OK” and asked, “Can I have another cigarette?”

All five Mexican nationals were apprehended and referred to Border Patrol.

An Austin man led DPS Troopers on a high-speed vehicle pursuit in Kinney County. After successfully deploying a tire deflation device, the driver was stopped and taken into custody. Troopers then discovered five illegal immigrants from Mexico inside the vehicle. The driver is charged with evading arrest and smuggling of persons. The five immigrants were referred to Border Patrol.

Drivers apprehended in these busts face a minimum of a 10-year sentence for smuggling of persons after the legislature passed a new bill, which Gov. Greg Abbott signed into law this year.

The troopers’ efforts are among over 488,500 apprehensions of illegal foreign nationals made in Texas by Operation Lone Star officers since Abbott launched Texas’ border security mission in April 2021. Since then, as of Dec. 8, OLS officers have made more than 37,300 criminal arrests with more than 33,800 felony charges reported.

Abbott maintains, “Operation Lone Star continues to fill the dangerous gaps created by the Biden Administration’s refusal to secure the border. Every individual who is apprehended or arrested and every ounce of drugs seized would have otherwise made their way into communities across Texas and the nation due to President Joe Biden’s open border policies.”

Abortion Bans Forcing Delays in States Where it is Legal

(Headline USA) Women seeking to kill their own children face waits because they struggle to travel hundreds of miles for an abortion after the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Such obstacles to infanticide have grown more common since Roe v. Wade was overturned in June 2022, doctors and researchers say, causing delays that can prevent abortions.

About half of U.S. states now have laws that ban or restrict access to abortion. Because of that, many clinics don’t offer the procedure, which has increased demand for appointments at the remaining providers.

At various points since The Dobbs decision, waits in several states stretched for two or three weeks, and some clinics had no available appointments, according to results of a periodic survey spearheaded by Middlebury College economics professor Caitlin Myers and recently provided to The Associated Press. Doctors and researchers say even as wait times have lessened, people still encounter other challenges, like planning and paying for travel, taking time off work and finding child care.

“All of those things can contribute to delays,” said Dr. Daniel Grossman, an OB-GYN at the University of California, San Francisco.

People may miss the window for medication abortions, which are not generally offered past 10 to 11 weeks gestation. A dwindling number of clinics provide abortions as people move through the second trimester, which begins at 13 or 14 weeks. Costs for the procedure change, too, from up to $800 in the first trimester to $2,000 or more in the second trimester.

At least 66 clinics in 15 states stopped providing abortions in the 100 days after Roe was overturned, according to an analysis last year by the Guttmacher Institute.

The necessity for people to travel out of state to kill their child is at the root of the delays.

Clinics run by Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, which operates in Colorado, New Mexico and southern Nevada, saw out-of-state patients more than double after Roe. And Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region’s health center in Fairview Heights, Illinois, saw a 715% increase in patients from outside of Illinois or Missouri in the year after Roe.

“We know that abortion bans have caused a ripple effect and increased wait times even in states where access is protected,” McNicholas said.

The ongoing Myers Abortion Appointment Availability Survey called more than 700 facilities across the United States. Its latest survey, conducted in September, found that 11 states had median appointment wait times of more than five business days and four states had waits of at least eight business days, not counting weekends or holidays. The longest wait was in Iowa: 12 business days.

A year earlier, the survey found Iowa had a median wait of 13 business days, and six other states had waits between 12 and 15 business days.

Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains told the AP that wait times peaked at 28 days shortly after the U.S. Supreme Court decision, though it later fell. Before June 2022, waits in the region’s Planned Parenthood clinics averaged 17 days, reflecting restrictions in Texas that were put into place in 2021.

Texas Erects More Wire Barriers Along Rio Grande River as Lawsuit Continues

(Bethany Blankley, The Center Square) – As Texas’ lawsuit continues against the federal government over its right to defend its border, Texas National Guard soldiers continue to erect concertina wire barriers along the Rio Grande River.

The Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals recently handed Texas a temporary win in the lawsuit, staying its own court panel’s previous ruling, and blocking the federal government from taking down or destroying Texas’ barrier.

In October, Texas sued the Biden administration after Border Patrol agents began bulldozing concertina wire barriers on Texas soil to allow illegal immigration enter Texas between ports of entry. A district judge initially issued a temporary restraining order, blocking the federal government from destroying Texas’ concertina barriers, then reversed her ruling allowing them to do so.

Texas appealed and a Fifth Circuit panel of judges initially stayed the district court ruling until they heard the case. They then reversed course, siding with the district judge. Texas than appealed to the full Fifth Circuit, which recently issued a stay until the entire court could hear the case.

Gov. Greg Abbott has argued that Texas has a right to defend its sovereign border and is prepared to go all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. In the meantime, Abbott says, “Texas National Guard soldiers continue to install and reinforce razor wire barriers along the Texas-Mexico border. While [President Joe] Biden’s dereliction of duty at the border continues, Texas holds the line.”

This week in Brownsville, Texas National Guard Engineer Special Response Teams repaired existing concertina wire barriers damaged by illegal crossers and installed a new anti-climb barrier (ACB), which is a fence erected behind the concertina barrier.

The concertina barrier is in place along the riverbank close to the water to prevent illegal entry after someone swims or walks across the river, depending on the location. Some have thrown blankets, clothes or towels to climb over the concertina barrier. Others use wire clippers to cut pieces to tear down or to cut holes to climb through.

The ACB is comprised of connected 8-foot by 12-foot gates, reinforced by concertina wire, “to make it even more anti-climb,” Capt. Chris Daniel, SRT-1 officer in charge explained in a video published by the Texas Military Department.

“There’s a heavy amount of cutting” in the Brownsville area, he said. “We have bad actors that are coming, opening up the wire allowing traffic to move through as we lay more wire in. The ACB reinforcement with the c-wire will slow that down a little bit. They’re going to have to do a lot more cutting to get through the ACB. They absolutely can’t manipulate it or push it down by putting clothes on it. Climbing will be a very hard task for them to complete. We’re trying to create a barrier that’s going to allow” Operation Lone Star officers to intercept “bad actors, stop them from being able to manipulate these barriers,” he said.

Texas National Guard Captain Chris Daniel, the Officer in Charge for the Task Force South Engineers, dsescribes his team’s latest progress in reinforcing the barrier on the banks of the Rio Grande River. The Anti-Climb Barrier, or ACB, is designed to be difficult for trespassers breach or bypass, especially with the additional layering of concertina wire on the top and bottom of the barrier. The UCB address concerns that many trespassers often illegally breach the concertina wire barrier with wire-cutters or cover it with clothing in order to bypass the obstacle and enter the United States illegally. (Texas National Guard video produced by Operation Lone Star Public Affairs team)

OLS efforts continue after the Texas Legislature allocated over $11.5 billion towards border security efforts, including $1.5 billion recently allocated to continue building Texas’ first border wall.

They also continue after Texas has borne the brunt of illegal border crossings, with at least over 1.9 million people illegally entering Texas since President Joe Biden’s been in office, according to data first reported by The Center Square.

MURDOCK: Dems Peddle Salacious ‘Dictator’ Porn as Hollow Last Resort

0

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) The same left-wing crowd that wasted three years screaming, “Russia! Russia! Russia!” has a new chant:

“Dictator! Dictator! Dictator!”

President Joe Biden said in September, “Donald Trump and his MAGA Republicans are determined to destroy American democracy.”

That month, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio–Cortez, D-N.Y., declared: “This is truly about having a strong front against fascism in the United States.”

Trump “will imprison, he will execute whoever he’s allowed to imprison, execute, drive from the country,” MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough hyperventilated on Nov. 21. “Just look at his past.” Funny, Trump’s past does not reflect Scarborough’s feverish hallucinations.

One cable news outlet on Thursday night warned that Trump’s second administration would be filled with “loyalists.” How shocking that Trump would hire people who support him and his program—just as Democrat presidents do. Is Trump supposed to surround himself with saboteurs?

Meanwhile, hide The Atlantic‘s next edition from the kids. This adults-only installment brims with dictatorship porn. Each copy should be wrapped in brown paper.

“In The Atlantic’s January/February 2024 issue, 24 writers imagine what a second Trump term would look like.”

“Trump Will Abandon NATO,” reads the headline above Anne Applebaum’s piece. “If reelected, he would end our commitment to the European alliance, reshaping the international order and hobbling American influence in the world.”

President Trump showed America’s NATO partners the tough love they needed. This inspired them to pledge $400 billion in higher spending for the West’s collective defense. Trump did not abandon NATO. He fortified it.

“This is unprecedented progress, and it is making NATO stronger,” said Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg on Nov. 29, 2019.

Michael Schuman’s article is titled “Why Xi Wants Trump to Win.” Schuman must have missed Trump’s constant rhetorical attacks on “CHI-nah,” his relentless trade sanctions, and his July 2020 closure of China’s Houston consulate, among other Beijing-bashing policies.

Trump was the toughest president on China since U.S. troops occupied it during the Boxer Rebellion under William McKinley.

Xi Jinping wants four more years of that?

The Atlantic’s David Frum is a quick-witted and affable man whom I know and have admired, although our paths have not crossed in years. He is severely allergic to Trump and just wrote about “The Danger Ahead.” His previous headlines include “Can Germany Resist the Trump Disease?” and “Never Again Trump.”

David Frum has become the Larry Flynt of dictator porn.

These apocalyptic visions might be less hair-raising if Trump were a neophyte with no political record. But he was president for four years, and they were anything but authoritarian.

This dictatorship/anti-democracy myth is the Left’s 2024 weapon of choice. A recent poll might reflect what’s at play. A Nov. 5 Siena College poll of registered voters found Trump beating Biden in five swing states, by a 3% margin in Wisconsin up to an 11% lead in Nevada.

Trump topped Biden by 12% on his approach to immigration and national security, and 22% on the economy.

But Biden edged Trump on “democracy” by 3%.

So, Democrats grabbed the only box of grenades at their disposal and started hurling “Democracy!” and “Dictatorship!” bombs at Trump and the GOP.

Democrats want Americans to forget Trump’s pre-COVID economic boom, 1.4% inflation, 2.66% mortgages, a much-tighter border, and peace in the Middle East.

They want voters to ignore Biden’s 3.2% inflation, 7.64% home loans, “border” bedlam, and the Middle East in flames.

So, Democrats pursue an icily brilliant strategy: Erase the heartwarming past, deflect from the heartburn-inducing present, and instead, terrorize voters with a dystopian fantasy about the near future: ein Amerikanisches Reich with Herr Trump as its Führer.

Never mind that the censorship, weaponization of the judiciary and attempts to jail political rivals supposedly on Trump’s agenda are being implemented by Biden and Democrats right now. Psychological projection is the carbon-free fuel that propels today’s Left.

To paraphrase a far more momentous president: Democrats have nothing to offer but fear itself.

Mar-a-Lago Costs More Than $1B, Trump Witness Says

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) This week, a Florida real estate agent testified in Donald Trump’s New York civil fraud trial that his Mar-a-Lago property is worth more than $1 billion.

Lawrence Moens, who was called as a witness by the defense, testified that Mar-a-Lago could be sold as a home, adding that, as of 2021, he would value it at over $1.2 billion, according to the Epoch Times.

“It’s something breathtaking. It’s something amazing to see,” he said of the Florida property.

In addition to that, he also told the court that Trump’s company had actually undervalued Mar-a-Lago by about half.

Moens’s valuation assumes that Mar-a-Lago is a personal residence, a premise that a leftist judge already rejected in the ongoing civil fraud trial.

“I work very hard to sell rich people property in Palm Beach. I’m on the front lines every day of selling properties, and I have a pretty good handle on what’s happening in the market,” Moens said.

In a pretrial ruling, a corrupt judge Arthur Engoron declared that Trump and his company engaged in fraud and that Trump exaggerated Mar-a-Lago’s worth by as much as 2,300%, compared to the Palm Beach County tax appraiser’s valuations, which ranged from $18 million to $28 million.

However, some real estate professionals, who weren’t involved in the case, expressed their concern about the judge’s ruling several months ago by saying that he made an error by relying solely on the tax appraiser’s valuations.

It was revealed by some Palm Beach luxury real estate agents that the property would sell for $300 million to $600 million and possibly $1 billion or more if it sparked a bidding war among incredibly wealthy contenders.

Moens said in a pre-trial deposition over the summer that he “could dream up anyone from Elon Musk to Bill Gates and everyone in between” to purchase Mar-a-Lago, including “kings, emperors [and] heads of state.”

“If they want the best house in the country, that would be one of the top two or three that would be available if they were for sale,” he said.

Biden Wants to Seize Patents of Costly Drugs, Make Them Cheaper

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The Biden administration proposed a new rule that would allow federal authorities to seize the patents of expensive drugs that were developed by using money from the taxpayers and to let third parties use those patents to make the drugs cheaper.

On Dec. 7, 2023, the National Institute of Standards and Technology [NIST], an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce, published a set of draft guidelines for government agencies to evaluate when it might be appropriate to invoke “march-in” rights under the Bayh-Dole Act, the Epoch Times reported.

The government is granted the authority by the Bayh-Dole Act to suspend the patents of products or inventions that were developed with federal funding if those products or inventions are not made available to people.

The new proposed guidelines were meant to modify the Bayh-Dole Act to make high price alone (of a product or invention developed by using the money of the taxpayers) a sufficient condition to trigger the government’s exercise of the act’s march-in provisions.

The march-in provisions — which had never been invoked in the past — would let authorities seize the patents of drugs that were deemed too expensive (when offered for sale by the original patent holder) and grant licenses to third parties to produce those drugs to sell them for a lower price.

“We’ll make it clear that when drug companies won’t sell taxpayer-funded drugs at reasonable prices, we will be prepared to allow other companies to provide those drugs for less,” White House adviser Lael Brainard said.

The draft was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 8, 2023, and was being subjected to a 60-day public comment period.

Joe Biden hailed the draft proposal as a way to rein in “Big Pharma price gouging.” On the other hand, the main pharmaceutical industry trade group, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, said that American patients would not gain anything because government-funded research would just sit “on a shelf, not benefiting anyone.”

Trump Judge Overseeing Hunter’s Indictment Hailed as ‘Icon in Legal Circles’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The DOJ’s indictment regarding Hunter Biden’s alleged tax evasion schemes has drawn considerable attention, with focus also turning toward the federal judge presiding over the case.

U.S. District Court Judge Mark Scarsi, assigned randomly to oversee the federal case initiated by Special Counsel Davis Weiss against President Joe Biden’s son, holds jurisdiction in the Central District of California and was nominated by former President Donald Trump.

Appointed to the federal bench in 2020 by then-President Donald Trump, Scarsi’s oversight extends to cases in Los Angeles, as reported by NBC on Friday.

Some conservative voices on Twitter have hailed Scarsi as a respected judge.

Former Trump official Richard Grenell praised Scarsi, labeling him an “honest” judge. “Everyone in LA knows that Mark Scarsi is one of the most honest and fair people they’ve ever met. He is an icon in legal circles with an impeccable legal resume,” he asserted.

In a subsequent tweet, Grenell added, “Diane Feinstein voted for Mark Scarsi. She knew he was a perfect choice. “Diane Feinstein voted for Mark Scarsi. She knew he was a perfect choice.”

Indeed, Scarsi secured confirmation from the Senate with 83 votes in favor and only 12 against.

NBC reported his long-term membership at the exclusive California Club and highlighted his affiliations with the Republican National Lawyers Association and the Federalist Society, a conservative non-profit known as a hub for legal scholars and judges.

Addressing the Senate Judiciary Committee, Scarsi described his legal practice, emphasizing his extensive experience in civil litigation, particularly in federal district courts across California, New York, Delaware, and Texas, as reported by the Washington Examiner.

During his confirmation hearing, Scarsi faced questions about his Federalist Society membership, explaining that he joined the non-profit to further his career.

He admitted discussing the possibility of becoming a federal judge with members of the conservative group before his formal nomination by Trump.

Scarsi will now preside over the case accusing Hunter Biden of purposefully neglecting tax liabilities while allegedly spending funds on various expenditures, including extravagant parties and other commodities.
