MAGA Bad Boy Madison Cawthorn Rear-Ends Fla. Highway Patrol Car

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Former Rep. Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C., reportedly rear-ended a highway-patrol officer while driving aggressively on interstate U.S. 75 South in Florida on Monday, according to the New York Post.

The story broke activist Alethea Shapiro, who goes by the name @swifties4palestine on TikTok, published a lengthy post detailing how he tailgated then sped past her. A few minutes later, she drove past his damaged car and saw him apologizing profusely to the officers.

I accelerated ahead and moved to the right lane in front of a tractor trailer to let the black sports car by. 5 mins later the highway comes to a complete stop, I swerve to the side so no one rear ends me and slow to a halt. Suddenly the car door opens and a man in a wheelchair rolls out. At the same moment I have to navigate around his car and I look ahead to see the officer exiting from his rear ended vehicle holding his neck in the left lane as well. I pulled over to the right shoulder lane and stopped to ask if everyone was ok and to offer assistance. I couldnt believe my eyes. It occured to me that former CONGRESSMAN CAWTHORNE from NC was the black CAR that stormed by me in an angry road rage tantrum. I spoke to the cop to see if he was ok as he was quite stunned & kept reaching for his neck. He said he was ok, asked if I was a witness, (I wasnt, I must have been 30 seconds behind) and I gave them water as i didnt know what else to do after he thanked me for stopping. As I drove away & replayed the surreal scene in my head I realized it was the same car who was erratically & aggressively driving. “Suddenly the car door opens and a man in a wheelchair rolls out,” she wrote.

“I pulled over to the right shoulder lane and stopped to ask if everyone was okay and to offer assistance,” she continued. “I couldn’t believe my eyes. It occurred to me that former CONGRESSMAN CAWTHORNE from NC was the black car that stormed by me in an angry road rage tantrum.”

Shapiro posted the summary and video to Twitter on Monday evening, and she appeared to have spent Tuesday writing a lengthy thread of every journalist and news organization she could think of.

Reports confirmed that the officer in the police car at the time of the accident incurred a minor neck injury; he received treatment at a nearby hospital.

 

Officials neglected to confirm the identity of the driver, only that he was a 28 year old male from Cape Coral, Florida driving a black Mercedes.

Lee County property records revealed that Cawthorn, 28, owns a home in Cape Coral.

A search of court records for Cawthorn pulled up five cases, four of which were related to handicapped parking violations.

A separate traffic infraction from Dec. 27 of last year cited Cawthorn only for having no proof of insurance.

There was no report posted for the incident in question.

Cawthorn lost use of his legs after suffering a car accident at 18 years old, and has been wheelchair-bound ever since.

Cawthorn, who was elected to Congress at the age of 25, suffered a primary defeat after just one term after his outspoken America First politics made him a target of a Democrat super-PAC that set out to smear him with salacious innuendo.

However, his criticism of the darker side of politics might also have made him enemies within the GOP after he blew the whistle on alleged drug use and orgies attended by congressional colleagues.

“The sexual perversion that goes on in Washington, I mean, being kind of a young guy in Washington, average age is probably 60 or 70,” Cawthorn said in a podcast interview in 2022.

“I look at a lot of these people, a lot of them that I’ve looked up to through my life—I’ve always paid attention to politics—then all of a sudden you get invited to, ‘Oh hey we’re going to have a sexual get together at one of our homes, you should come,’” he added.

Headline USA reached out to Cawthorn for comment about the recent incident and will update with any response.

Ilhan Omar’s Daughter Suspended from NYC College over Pro-Hamas Protests

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The daughter of the far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar, D–Minn., indicated in her social media posts that she was suspended from her college after she protested in an anti-Israel demonstration on the Columbia University campus.

Isra Hirsi, Omar’s daughter, stated that she was one of three students who were “suspended for standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing a genocide,” the Daily Mail reported.

Her suspension comes as Columbia University has been rocked by pro-Palestinian and pro-Hamas protests over the last two days, which led to several arrests and brawls.

“[I’m] an organizer with CU Apartheid Divest @ColumbiaSJP, in my 3 years at @BarnardCollege I have never been reprimanded or received any disciplinary warnings. I just received notice that I am 1 of 3 students suspended for standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing genocide,” Hirsi wrote.

The politician’s daughter then doubled down by saying that she and other terrorist-supporting students would not stop protesting.

“Those of us in Gaza Solidarity Encampment will not be intimidated. We will stand resolute until our demands are met. [Our] demands include divestment from companies complicit in genocide, transparency of @Columbia ’s investments and FULL amnesty for all students facing repression,” she wrote.

On her Twitter profile, Hirsi described herself as an “angry black girl.” In addition to that, she also played a role in coordinating the multi-day protest on the university campus and works as an organizer for the anti-Israel group Apartheid Divest.

Recently, dozens of leftist students have set up tents and camped out on the university’s South Lawn across from its iconic Butler Library, with around 60 tents on the lawn featuring two large signs declaring “liberated zone” and “Gaza solidarity encampment.”

In a video from Apr. 17, 2024, pro-Palestine and pro-Israel protesters clashed outside of the school as one person screamed “We are Hamas!” while a man wearing an Israel flag on his back and a yamaka on his head walked past her, the news source added.

It was also reported that at least five people were arrested this week as a brawl broke out at the university.

REPORT: Biden White House Staffers Describe Trump As ‘Hitler Pig’

(Headline USA) Biden White House staffers frequently refer to former President Donald Trump as “Hitler pig,” according to Politico.

The insult is a favorite of Biden’s younger staffers, the outlet reported. They first started using the term in 2022, after Trump dined with rapper Kanye West and white nationalist Nick Fuentes at his Mar-a-Lago estate, and they now use it when he makes controversial comments.

“Hey, did you see what Hitler Pig said?” Biden aides reportedly say to each other.

This week, Biden aides used the moniker in a text conversation about Trump allegedly nodding off during a court appearance in New York.

“Hitler Pig sleepy,” one individual said in the exchange.

Conservatives mocked the insult as a poor attempt to recreate Trump’s infamous nicknames for his opponents.

“White House nickname for Trump is ‘Hitler Pig.’ How humorless and pathetic is that?” tweeted Marc Thiessen, former President George W. Bush’s speechwriter. 

Trump campaign adviser Chris LaCivita argued that the nickname is a reflection of the Biden White House.

“[Politico] thinks this is funny, it’s actually more a representation of what a rag they’ve become and the level of s**t that works in the White House ‘Hitler Pig,’” he tweeted. 

Brian Hughes, a senior Trump campaign adviser, pointed out that the insult contradicts Biden’s vow to crack down on disrespectful behavior. He vowed as soon as he took office that he would “fire” anyone who is heard treating others with disrespect or talking down to someone. 

“I will fire you on the spot. No ifs, ands or buts,” Biden declared.

But that was just another failed commitment, Hughes argued.

“Joe Biden talks a lot about decency, but he and his staff don’t have a decent bone in their bodies,” he said. “These ridiculous and gross comments reflect the failure and dishonesty of the entire Biden operation.”

Biden himself was revealed to have his own colorful epithets for his GOP presidential rival, including “sick f**k” and “f**king a**hole.” He likewise referred to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “bad f**king guy.”

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden’s recent campaign stops at two convenience stores in Pennsylvania ahead of the state’s primary were marked by a stark contrast to a similar visit made by his opponent, former President Donald Trump. 

Biden made a stop at a Sheetz location in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, followed by a visit to a Wawa store in Philadelphia on Thursday, yet the atmosphere at both venues left much to be desired. 

During his visit to Wawa, Biden, accompanied by Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker, engaged in a brief exchange with a store employee, but the interaction seemed scripted. Notably, Biden’s meal was already prepared upon arrival. 

In an apparent moment of confusion, Biden inquired with a black employee about ordering a “black and white” milkshake. The employee, perhaps taken aback, directed Biden to the self-checkout kiosk. This unexpected move by Biden caught both Secret Service agents and his staffers off guard, video showed. 

The Wawa store was devoid of any crowds or supporters, with only reporters and Secret Service agents present. 

The day before, while Trump was warmly greeted by bodega workers and New Yorkers during a visit, Biden’s stop at a Sheetz gas station saw him awkwardly greeting a few guests, again without any significant crowd or viral moments. 

On this occasion, meals had been pre-prepared for Biden. While speaking with Sheetz workers, an unidentified aide was observed instructing a cameraman to step back, shouting, “Back! Back! Back!” to ensure distance. 

Shortly thereafter, Biden was seen smiling for reporters, sporting black sunglasses. 

Many critics on Twitter pointed out that Biden’s visits to these stores appeared to be an attempt to replicate the viral impact of Trump’s visit to a Harlem bodega, where he was enthusiastically received by chanting crowds and eager New Yorkers eager for photos.

The criticism comes amid the looming 2024 general election face-off between Biden and Trump. Biden’s lackluster campaign performance is evident in recent polls, with many showing Trump leading in key swing states.

ICE Records Show Laken Riley Murder Suspect was Paroled Illegally

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) U.S. Department of Homeland Security records recently revealed that Jose Antonio Ibarra, the murder suspect of Georgia student Laken Riley, was illegally out on parole when he allegedly killed her.

The records were obtained and disclosed at a Judiciary Committee hearing on Apr. 17, 2024, by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R–S.C., who criticized DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for telling the committee on Apr. 16, 2024, that he didn’t know why Ibarra had been paroled from the federally run immigration detention center in El Paso, Texas, the Epoch Times reported.

“It’s in your own file! How can you testify before the country you didn’t know how the guy got into the country when literally at the same moment I’m giving you a document he was admitted into the country for lack of capacity at El Paso?” he said.

Graham condemned Mayorkas hours before the Senate kicked off the impeachment trial of Mayorkas on allegations that he doesn’t uphold immigration laws such as the longstanding Immigration and Nationality Act, which sets detention mandates for inadmissible aliens in the country, the news source reported.

One of those violations was the paroling of Ibarra, according to Graham.

The DHS records obtained by Graham state that Ibarra was granted “parole due to detention capacity.”

“The law is clear. You cannot parole someone because you don’t have space,” Graham said, while also including the excerpt from DHS records that cited lack of space as the reason for Ibarra’s parole.

By law, immigration parole is to be granted only at the discretion of the DHS Secretary on a case-by-case basis, in instances of “urgent humanitarian reason or significant public benefit,” Graham added.

“If this is not Exhibit A of a broken immigration system, what would be?” he said.

Graham’s testimony and other documents showed that after Ibarra was paroled in 2022, he was subsequently arrested the next year and released at least three separate times for various crimes before allegedly murdering Riley, who was found dead on Feb. 23, 2024.

House Republican Calls for Intelligence ‘Damage Assessment’ of Biden’s Classified Docs

(Headline USA) Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla., called for the intelligence community to conduct a “damage assessment” after reviewing portions of the classified documents illegally stored in President Joe Biden’s Delaware home.

A Justice Department investigation found earlier this year that Biden improperly stored and kept classified information in his home, much of which dated back to his vice presidency and time in the U.S. Senate. At least some of the documents, however, were pertinent to existing threats, according to Waltz.

“They were HIGHLY CLASSIFIED and relevant to current national security threats,” the House Intelligence Committee member said. “We need an immediate damage assessment from the Intelligence Community.”

Special counsel Robert Hur, who led the investigation into Biden’s mishandling of classified information, revealed in his report that the materials in Biden’s garage and basement included “(1) marked classified documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan, and (2) notebooks containing Mr. Biden’s handwritten entries about issues of national security and foreign policy implicating sensitive intelligence sources and methods.”

Biden also stashed documents classified up to the “Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information” level in boxes at his office at the Penn Biden Center think-tank in Washington, D.C.

Republicans pointed out that Hunter Biden likely had access to the classified material while he was living in Joe Biden’s Delaware home and conducting business deals with several foreign nations, including China. 

Hur even interviewed Hunter Biden as part of the investigation into Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified information, according to NBC News.

“The committee is concerned President Biden stored classified documents at the same location his son resided while engaging in international business deals with adversaries of the United States,” the House Oversight Committee wrote in a letter to the Justice Department.

Despite these security concerns, the Justice Department ultimately declined to prosecute Biden’s mishandling of classified information, arguing a jury would not likely convict him because of his age and “poor memory.”

FBI Arrests Man for Throwing Pipe Bomb at Satanic Temple

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The Justice Department announced Wednesday that the FBI arrested a man suspected of throwing a pipe bomb at The Satanic Temple earlier this month in Salem, Massachusetts.

Sean Patrick Palmer, 49, of Perkins, Oklahoma, was charged with using an explosive to cause damage to a building used in interstate or foreign commerce.

According to the DOJ, surveillance footage shows a man suspected of being Palmer walking towards The Satanic Temple around 4 a.m. on April 8.

The man approached the temple, ignited a pipe bomb—a type of improvised explosive device or “IED”— threw it at TST’s main entrance, and then ran away, the DOJ said in a Wednesday press release. Seconds later, the pipe bomb reportedly partially detonated, causing minor fire and related damage to The Satanic Temple’s exterior.

The DOJ then claimed that “a single human hair was allegedly located on the pipe bomb containing a DNA profile from a Caucasian male.” Charging documents state that the pipe bomb is still being analyzed at an FBI lab. Analysts also located one dark-colored dog hair on the device, and the DOJ noted that Palmer owns a dog with dark hair.

The DOJ further claimed that a note was found at a crime scene.

“DEAR SATANIST, ELOHIM SEND ME 7 MONTHS AGO TO GIVE YOU PEACEFUL MESSAGE TO HOPE YOU REPENT. YOU SAY NO, ELOHIM NOW SEND ME TO SMITE SATAN AND I HAPPY TO OBEY. AND ELOHIM WANT ME TO CONTACT YOU TO TELL YOU REPENT. TURN FROM SIN,” the alleged note stated.

“ELOHIM NO LIKE THIS PLACE AND PLAN TO DESTROY IT. MAYBE SALEM TOO? ELOHIM SEND ME TO FIGHT CRYBABY SATAN, BUT WANT ME TO MAKE HARD EFFORT SO NO ONE DIES. I OBEY.”

Palmer faces at least five years and up to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000. He was scheduled for an initial court appearance Thursday.

D.C. Mayor Defends Taxpayer-Funded Trip to Ritzy Golf Tournament

(Headline USA) Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser defended taking a taxpayer-funded trip to the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia, last week as “part of a sports and economic development visit,” the Daily Mail reported.

The Democrat mayor’s public schedule revealed that Bowser attended the world-renowned golf tournament as part of her official duties.

Her office later confirmed to DC News Now that the trip was paid for by the city, but did not disclose how much Bowser’s flights and other travel expenses, such as lodging, cost.

Bowser’s communications director, Susana Castillo, claimed the mayor had been invited to the tournament by two people leading a new city task force to “revitalize” the Gallery Place and Chinatown neighborhood.

“[W]hether it’s here in the city or another city or another country,” the mayor is always looking to advance administrative interests, Castillo said.

At least three other city employees—including Bowser’s senior advisor, Beverly Perry—also traveled to the tournament.

This is not the first time Bowser has faced criticism for using the city’s funds to pay for lavish trips. Earlier this year, she also took a trip to Dubai “as part of the US Conference of Mayors delegation for the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference.”

According to a press release by Bowser’s office, the mayor used the trip to “engage with leaders on the issues of infrastructure, sports and education, as well as promote Washington, DC as a destination for investment and tourism in partnership with the DC Chamber of Commerce.”

Bowser did not disclose how much her trip to Dubai cost the city, either.

“No matter where I am, my team is working and always in touch with me at a moment’s notice,” Bowser said in a statement at the time to reassure citizens that she was still in charge of the local affairs even while using their money on international junkets.

Bowser’s taxpayer-funded trips come as Washington experiences a significant increase in violent crime, including carjackings and robberies.

Quid Pro Joe: Desperate Biden Recruits Iraqi PM to Campaign for Him in Michigan

(Headline USA) With Muslims boycotting the Democrat ticket amid outrage over President Joe Biden’s handling of the Israel–Hamas conflict, the White House is seeking foreign intervention in a highly unorthodox campaign ploy that would seem to raise serious concerns over potential conflicts of interest.

The leader of Iraq traveled to Michigan on Thursday to meet with the state’s large Iraqi community and update them on escalating tensions in the Middle East following Iran’s weekend aerial assault on Israel.

The visit from Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has been thrust into the spotlight following the Iran’s weekend attack on Israel, which included drone and missile launches that overflew Iraqi airspace, as well as others that were launched from Iraq by Iran-backed groups.

Some are now speculating that Biden may, in fact, have greenlighted the Iranian attack using back-channel communications, ostensibly to mitigate the potential fallout that a surprise attack would have incurred.

Nonetheless, the Iron Dome defense systems activated for the face-saving military showcase cost billions of dollars for the U.S.

Al-Sudani’s trips to both Washington and Michigan to discuss U.S.–Iraq relations had been planned well before Saturday’s drone and missile launches from Iran-backed groups.

But it comes just three days after the two world leaders met to reaffirm their “strategic partnership” on a variety of issues—including efforts to streamline Iraq’s energy and banking sectors—raising questions about how much funding, courtesy of U.S. taxpayers, was attached to the agreement.

Republican lawmakers earlier this month slammed al-Sudani’s close ties with the rogue Iranian regime, noting that Iraq has provided considerable funding that likely helped support regional terrorism against Israel and U.S. interests.

“Your appeasement of Iran has endangered American national security and weakened our relationship with our allies,” said a letter signed by four U.S. senators and four members of the House of Representatives.

Just months prior to the deadly Hamas attack on Israel that broke a two-year ceasefire and left some 1,200 innocent Israelis dead, Biden authorized Iraq to release $2.76 billion in frozen assets to its Iranian neighbor.

In their letter, the Republican legislators went on to list several specific actions that the Iraqi government had taken that conflicted with U.S. military, diplomatic and trade efforts in the Middle East, according to The Hill.

For Biden, whose reelection prospects could pivot on his success in wooing Michigan’s Arab population, soliciting campaign assistance from al-Sudani may be far more valuable than any Middle-Eastern concessions.

There are just over 90,000 residents in Michigan of Iraqi descent, the largest of any state, according to the most recent U.S. Census. In Wayne County, home to the cities of Detroit and Dearborn, 7.8% of residents identified of Middle Eastern and North African ancestry, alone or in any combination, the highest percentage of any U.S. county.

However, protest votes during the Democratic primary triggered fears that residents—many of them refugees from America’s eight-year war with Iraq, which ended in 2011—could sit out the November election and hand the crucial swing state, once again, to Republican contender Donald Trump.

Al-Sudani was expected to land in the Detroit area Thursday evening and be met by local leaders, including Wayne County Executive Warren Evans and Assad I. Turfe, a deputy Wayne County executive.

He will then travel to a mosque in Dearborn Heights to meet with Iraqi community members and officials to give an update on his meeting with Biden talking about the economic relations between Iraq and the U.S., according to Mohammed Al-mawla, a community member involved in the planning.

Earlier this month, Dearborn became immersed in a swirl of controversy after “Death to America” chants erupted during an Al-Quds Day protest.

The group also made clear its displeasure with Biden during the demonstration.

“It’s not Genocide Joe that has to go; it’s the entire system that has to go,” said local activist Takek Bazzi. “Any system that would allow such atrocities and such devilry to happen and would support it—such a system does not deserve to exist on God’s earth.”

Concern about the defection of a core Democrat constituency has already resulted in multiple visits from Biden administration officials to the area.

Amos Hochstein, a senior adviser to Biden, traveled to metro Detroit in March to meet with Lebanese Americans and discuss efforts to prevent the conflict from expanding along Israel’s northern border, where Hezbollah operates.

Ahead of the Feb. 27 primary, several White House officials also traveled to Dearborn to meet with Arab–American leaders to discuss the conflict.

Nonetheless, more than 100,000 Democratic voters in Michigan—or 13% of the Democratic vote total—wrote in “uncommitted,” despite Biden having been the only serious candidate.

Trump, the first Republican to win Michigan since 1988, defeated Hillary Clinton by fewer than 11,000 votes in 2016.

Although questions abound regarding election-integrity concerns in the 2020 race, Biden officially carried the state by a margin of roughly 154,000 votes, with 332,000 coming from Wayne County.

Are El Chapo’s Sons FBI Informants?

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Last month, American and Mexican authorities captured a fugitive, David DeWayne Young, who was wanted in the U.S. as part of a massive drug conspiracy case.

According to Mexican journalist Óscar Balmen, the U.S. authorities had help from “Los Chapitos,” the sons of notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, who headed the Sinaloa Cartel until he was eventually captured and extradited to the U.S. in January 2017.

“As for El Chapo’s sons, they knew that an American fugitive was hiding in one of their strongholds. They decided they would score points with the FBI and hand him over as a goodwill offering,” Balmen recently said, according to a report in the UK Daily Star.

“Giving his [Young’s] head on a platter would be convenient for them, because after the surprise arrest and express extradition of Ovidio [Guzmán] they started an operation to remove the label of ‘Uncle Sam’s priority targets for trafficking fentanyl’.”

Balmen also reportedly said the sons weren’t happy with Young’s “anti-Mexican” rhetoric. Young is a member of the neo-Nazi prison gang, the Ghostface Gangsters Gang.

The notion that the Sinaloa cartel helping the FBI might seem preposterous, given that Guzmán is serving a life prison sentence in the U.S., and one of his sons was arrested in January last year and is now awaiting trial in the U.S.

However, the Sinaloa cartel has a long history of cooperating with federal authorities as part of a self-preservation strategy.

Newsweek detailed Sinaloa’s strategy of working with the U.S. in 2013, when the news organization interviewed an informant from the cartel.

“Most criminals who become informants do so because they’ve been arrested and squeezed, encouraged to betray their criminal employers in exchange for leniency. But this man had an unusual story to tell about his first encounter with U.S. federal agents. It was his boss, a top manager at the Sinaloa cartel, who encouraged him to help the Americans: ‘Meet with the U.S. investigators, he was told. See how we can help them with information,’” Newsweek reported.

The informant reportedly said an Immigration and Customs Enforcement told him that  they were here to help [the Sinaloa cartel]—”and to fuck the Vicente Carrillo cartel. Sorry for the language. That’s exactly what they said,” the informant told Newsweek.

The same year as Newsweek’s investigation, an anonymous Mexican government official reportedly accused the US government of helping the Sinaloa cartel in an internal email leaked in 2012. The Mexican official reportedly alleged that US authorities told the Juarez Cartel in 2010 that it should recognize the superiority of the Sinaloa Cartel and called on both groups to cut down on violence in the area.

And in 2014, another outlet, Business Insider, revealed in 2014 that the DEA was exchanging intelligence with the Sinaloa cartel.

More recently, an ATF whistleblower has come forward with information suggesting that the U.S. is still funneling guns to Mexican cartels in an operation similar to the Obama-era Fast and Furious scandal.
