Venezuelan Gang Seizes Full Apartment Complex in Colorado

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Chilling security footage captured a group of heavily armed individuals storming the stairwell of an apartment building in Aurora, Colorado. 

Authorities confirm that these men have taken control of the building, terrorized residents and forcibly entered an apartment.

The footage shows them speaking in Spanish and carrying weapons as they ascend the stairs. 

DHS sources informed Fox News that the men are members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, which has recently caused disturbances in several communities across the country. 

Fox 31 (KDVR) reported that the video was recorded shortly before a shootout that resulted in one serious injury and several damaged vehicles. 

Former residents Cindy and Edward Romero, who moved out on Wednesday, described their ordeal as “being held hostage,” according to CBS News Colorado.

Authorities believe the gang members began extorting residents for money after the Biden-Harris administration’s border policies allowed more Venezuelans into the country. 

This program came under scrutiny after an internal DHS report revealed it had been subjected to fraud. It was reinstated earlier this week. 

Aurora’s Mike Coffman sounded the alarm about the federal program in an interview with Fox News, calling for federal intervention. 

Aurora City Councilmember Danielle Jurinsky criticized the lack of assistance for Americans facing this alleged terror. 

“The city nonprofits have lined up to help the migrants that have come here but nobody is helping the Americans that are trapped in these apartment complexes,” Jurinsky said. 

The Aurora Police Department released a lengthy statement, claiming that it is actively working with local, state and federal partners to address concerns about the Venezuelan gang. 

“We are aware that components of TdA are operating in Aurora,” the police said, refusing to release specific details. “APD has been increasingly collecting evidence to show the gang is connected to crimes in the area. However, as we have said previously and as the DEA similarly stated, it would be improper at this time for the city and APD to make any conclusory statements about specific incidents or provide details about law enforcement strategy and operations.”

(Headline USA) After struggling to drum up interest following its Cannes Film Festival premiere, The Apprentice, starring Sebastian Stan as a young Donald Trump, has found a distributor that plans to release the film shortly before the election in November.

Briarcliff Entertainment will release The Apprentice on Oct. 11 in U.S. and Canadian theaters, just weeks before Americans cast their ballots on Nov. 5.

That effectively makes it a de-facto campaign donation from Briarcliff founder and CEO Tom Ortenberg, who already has made at least 250 donations to Democrats in the current 2023-2024 election cycle alone. That includes more than $6,500 this year to Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign according to records from the Federal Election Commission.

Steven Cheung, communications director for the Trump campaign, called the film’s release “election interference by Hollywood elites right before November” in a statement Friday.

“This ‘film’ is pure malicious defamation, should never see the light of day, and doesn’t even deserve a place in the straight-to-DVD section of a bargain bin at a soon-to-be-closed discount movie store, it belongs in a dumpster fire,” Cheung said.

Director Ali Abbasi, the Danish Iranian filmmaker, had prioritized getting The Apprentice into theaters before voters head to the polls. After larger studios and film distributors opted not to bid on the film, Abbasi complained in early June on X that “for some reason certain power people in your country don’t want you to see it!!!”

Part of what dampened interest in The Apprentice was the potential threat of legal action. After its Cannes premiere in May, Cheung called the movie “pure fiction” and said the Trump team would file a lawsuit “to address the blatantly false assertions from these pretend filmmakers.”

The Apprentice chronicles Trump’s rise to power in New York real estate under the tutelage of legendary defense attorney Roy Cohn (played by Jeremy Strong).

Late in the movie, Trump is depicted raping his wife, Ivana Trump (played by Maria Bakalova).

In Ivana Trump’s 1990 divorce deposition, she stated that Trump raped her. Trump denied the allegation and Ivana Trump later said she didn’t mean it literally, but rather that she had felt violated.

Trump offered an elegant eulogy of his first wife after her shocking 2022 death from blunt force trauma following a fall down the stairs.

While Trump may have shown fearlessness when confronted by an assassin’s bullet, those close to him have recounted that Ivana’s passing was one of the few times the ice-veined GOP leader has appeared to be emotionally distraught.

Nonetheless, Abbasi has claimed Trump might not dislike the movie, while unabashedly using his two-hour propaganda piece as a way to get the former president’s attention.

“I would offer to go and meet him wherever he wants and talk about the context of the movie, have a screening and have a chat afterwards, if that’s interesting to anyone at the Trump campaign,” Abbasi said in May.

Ortenberg has a long history of pushing leftist cinematic revisionism, including Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11 while at Lionsgate. He was also chief executive of Open Road, which backed the best picture Oscar winner Spotlight.

Briarcliff Entertainment previously released 2022’s Gabby Giffords Won’t Back Down, documenting the wife of current Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., who was reportedly Barack Obama’s top choice to be Harris’s running mate.

Fraud Alert? Pennsylvania Court Demands that Philly Count Mismarked Ballots

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A Pennsylvania court ruled Friday that the heavily Democratic counties of Philadelphia and Allegheny must count mismarked ballots, even if those ballots have incorrect or missing dates. 

In a controversial 4-1 decision, the court claimed that if the ballots are received by the deadline, having the wrong or not date does not invalidate them as interpreted by the state’s constitution. 

“The refusal to count undated or incorrectly dated but timely mail ballots submitted by otherwise eligible voters because of meaningless and inconsequential paperwork errors violates the fundamental right to vote recognized in the free and equal elections clause,” Judge Ellen Ceisler remarked, according to Spotlight Pa. 

Republican National Committee spokesperson Claire Zunk sharply criticized the decision as “an example of the worst kind of judicial activism,” clarifying that the Republican Party will appeal  

She added, “Courts should not undermine election confidence and integrity by striking down commonsense election laws enacted by the people’s representatives.” 

In stark contrast, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro lauded the ruling as a “victory.”

Echoing his approval, Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt’s office smugly declared that the “ruling makes clear a voter’s minor error of forgetting to date or misdating a ballot envelope cannot be a cause for disenfranchisement.” Schmidt, dubbed by President Donald Trump as a Republican in name only (RINO), was appointed by Shapiro in 2022. 

The ACLU claimed the now-stricken rule affected 10,000 ballots in 2022 and claimed that “thousands” more were impacted in the 2024 primaries. 

Philadelphia and Allegheny are key Democratic strongholds. In 2020, Philadelphia County overwhelmingly voted for Biden, with 81.4% of the vote compared to Trump’s 17.9%. Allegheny County followed, with Biden receiving 59.6% of the vote to Trump’s 39.2%.

The controversial ruling came after the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Pennsylvania sued on behalf of leftist groups against Act 77—a law that has been at the center of electoral battles since the 2020 election.

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Not surprisingly, on Aug. 29, 2024, Socialist International endorsed socialist Kamala Harris for President and Tim Walz for Vice President.

The organization wrote that it is “confident” Harris would “make history” in the upcoming election by becoming “the first woman President of the United States.”

The endorsement came after the ongoing criticism of Harris by Donald Trump and his supporters regarding allegations that Harris is a “Marxist Communist.” Trump regularly refers to Harris as “Comrade Harris,” a nickname he granted her for her policies.

“From the Socialist International, we proudly support Kamala Harris in her candidacy for the upcoming November 5 elections. We are confident she will make history as the first woman President of the United States,” the organization, which establishes commissions to advance the destructive ideology all around the world, wrote.

Harris has not yet publicly responded to the endorsement by the far-left group.

On its website, Socialist International wrote that the organization was “founded a hundred years ago to coordinate the worldwide struggle of democratic socialist movements for social justice, human dignity and democracy,” adding that it “brought together parties and organizations from different traditions which shared a common goal: democratic socialism.”

“This election is not a choice between Democrats and Republicans. It’s a choice between communism and freedom,” Trump stated during his Michigan rally on Aug. 29, 2024.

Conservatives quickly responded to the recent news by stating that the organization’s endorsement is unsurprising.

“Of course, they have,” one person wrote.

“Nobody saw this coming,” another person wrote sarcastically.

“Does not get more transparent than this!” yet another person on Twitter stated.

However, as expected, socialists responded to the organization’s endorsement by saying that Harris and Walz are not leftists, even though they’ve been pushing far-left talking points throughout the entire campaign and Walz has been a communist sympathizer for many decades, constantly visiting China and praising the regime.

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Donald Trump recently promised that he would imprison Mark Zuckerberg for the rest of his life if there is evidence of Facebook “illegally” influencing the 2024 election.

The Daily Mail reported that Trump said that the founder of the social network site would “spend the rest of his life in prison” if the evidence of the election meddling would be found.

In his recent book, Save America, Trump wrote that he was “watching him [Zuckerberg] closely” before the November election.

According to the Mail, Trump described his latest work as a coffee table book. The book is expected to be published next week and includes anecdotes from his first term in the White House and his remarks about what’s happening all around the world.

Trump stated that while he was in office, Zuckerberg visited him and “[brought] his very nice wife to dinners, [was] as nice as anyone could be.”

However, Trump added that all those visits were a facade because Zuckerberg was actually “[plotting] against him.”

“He told me there was nobody like Trump on Facebook. But at the same time, and for whatever reason, steered it against me. We are watching him closely, and if he does anything illegal this time, he will spend the rest of his life in prison – as will others who cheat in the 2024 presidential election,” Trump wrote.

Trump’s recent comments are based on the evidence of Big Tech and Zuckerberg suppressing conservatives, Christians, Trump supporters and Trump himself before, during and after the 2020 election.

After Trump questioned the results of the 2020 election and suggested that it was stolen, the far-left Silicon Valley tyrants at Facebook and Instagram, led by Zuckerberg, suspended him from the social media platforms. Trump was allowed back on the platforms only in January 2023.

It only recently became officially known that Facebook has been meddling in the last presidential election. Despite that, Zuckerberg still wants to interfere in the upcoming election.

GOP Claims Swing State Leftists Illegally Recruit Poll Watchers

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) In its Aug. 29, 2024, letter, the Republican National Committee stated that the Pennsylvania Democratic Party may be illegally recruiting out-of-state poll watchers.

On its website, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party stated that any recruited poll watchers must be physically present in the state to work but that they “do not necessarily have to be PA voters.”

In its letter, the RNC wrote that the state party’s guidance contradicts Pennsylvania state law, which requires poll watchers to be “a qualified registered elector of the county” where the polling occurs.

“That’s a completely inaccurate statement regarding Pennsylvania poll watchers. Our law is extremely strict on that. A candidate can’t even enter the polling place unless he’s actually there to vote. If you want to be a poll watcher, you have to be a resident of the county where that district is,” Linda A. Kerns, Pennsylvania election integrity counsel for the RNC, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Hans von Spakovsky, a senior legal fellow and manager of the Election Law Reform Initiative at the Heritage Foundation, also criticized Democrats in Pennsylvania.

“The Pennsylvania Democratic Party is soliciting individuals to violate state law,” Hans von Spakovsky, a senior legal fellow and manager of the Election Law Reform Initiative at the Heritage Foundation, told the DCNF.

In addition to disputing the legality of these guidelines in the letter, the RNC also claimed that recruiting poll watchers based on their restrictions could interfere with the legitimacy of the election results.

“It’s incorrect, and the last thing voters need is to have incorrect information like that spread. And I think that the Democrats know that. People have the right to go to their polling place and have it be a smooth experience. That’s what our laws are designed for,” Kern said.

The RNC also wrote that the “misinformation on the PA Dems’ website threatens the integrity of November’s general election” and that the “Democratic Party cannot be permitted to recruit poll watchers in violation of the law and flood polling places with unqualified out-of-state poll watchers across the Commonwealth.”

In the letter, the RNC also expressed concern about the Pennsylvania Democrats’ statements on their website about “early vote monitors,” who are responsible for assisting “voters outside Boards of Election and satellite locations during voting.”

The RNC stated that recruiting these “early vote monitors” could “threaten chaos” at these election offices and risk the monitors’ ability to “engage in observation of voting activities.”

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A professor of medicine has claimed that, through scientific progress, humans will soon be able to reverse the effects of death, the Telegraph reported.

Sam Parnia, an associate professor of medicine at New York University’s Langone Medical Center, told the publication that what we collectively believe about death today—that it is a final end to life—is “fundamentally wrong.”

According to Parnia, death is a “reversible state.”

People only believe that death is irreversible because they have been conditioned to think so, and to stifle scientific progress, he claimed.

“People used to think you could never go beyond the boundaries of [flying], let alone going beyond the atmosphere of the Earth,” he said. “And if you always believed that, then you’d never try.”

Furthermore, Parnia claimed, it is helpful to understand death not as a moment at which “everything stops,” but as “basically an injury process” that can be treated.

As a result, a large part of overcoming death by means of science will be altering the public perception of death, which is currently a “social convention” that does not “conform with scientific realities.”

More concretely, Parnia claimed that Yale University’s 2019 study demonstrated adequately that pig brains can be brought back to “life” temporarily after death.

A 2022 study also showed that pig brains and hearts could be brought back to function with the aid of other synthetic organs.

According to Parnia, it is only a matter of time until the same methods can be applied to human beings.

Still, he hedged his optimism by suggesting that the best candidates for immediate life extension are those who die from some acute cause while being in otherwise good health.

“If I have a heart attack and die tomorrow, why should I stay dead?” he asked. “That’s not necessary anymore.”

(Headline USA) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio–Cortez, D-N.Y., hit back at leftist critics who have argued she is too supportive of Israel, insisting that she is just as anti-Israel as her other “Squad” colleagues.

“I have one of the strongest vote records in Congress on Palestinian human rights and voting against bloated U.S. military budgets (both overall and against unconditional aid to the Israeli gov),” Ocasio–Cortez wrote on Instagram in response to a question from one of her followers.

“And in a time when AIPAC has dedicated $100 million to booting out members of Congress who stood for Palestinian human rights this year and successfully unseated two, that matters,” she added. “We need to grow and defend our ranks to do more.”

Ocasio–Cortez also claimed that “disinformation” is the reason many leftists believe she’s been inadequately critical of Israel.

“A LOT of people are getting ‘news’ from random viral social media posts (which given how censored this issue has been in mainstream media for so long, I understand, but not all of it is legit),” Ocasio–Cortez said. “Please understand that there is a lot of nefarious stuff getting amplified along with the legitimate stuff too.”

Ocasio–Cortez lost the endorsement of the Democratic Socialists of America earlier this year over her lukewarm support for Israel.

She was also confronted by leftist anti-Israel protesters at the Democratic National Convention earlier this month for allegedly not labeling Israel’s military offensive against Hamas as a “genocide” during her speech at the event.

“It’s depressing to watch someone who said, a few years ago, that she and Biden shouldn’t be in the same party, try to have her ‘Obama DNC’ moment and ascend within the same corrupt party that’s currently underwriting a genocide,” Briahna Joy Grah, a former aide to Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., said after Ocasio–Cortez’s speech.

Montana College Students Offered Cash to Endorse Vulnerable Sen. Tester

(Headline USA) College students in Montana were reportedly being bribed with cash to endorse vulnerable Democrat Sen. Jon Tester, according to Fox News.

University of Montana athletic director Kent Haslam revealed this week that he forwarded an email from a group called Montana Together, which offered cash payments to students in exchange for videos of them endorsing Tester.

The offer was reportedly made through a representative at Opendorse.com, a platform used by college athletes to score paid promotions and sponsorships through use of their name, image and likeness (NIL). 

The college students were offered anywhere from $400 to $2,400 to post videos “spreading the word” about Tester, the email confirmed.

“We have an NIL opportunity for Montana student–athletes, and I could use your help getting the information below to any individuals who you recommend applying for this campaign,” the email forwarded by Haslam said.

“Montana Together is using Opendorse to source athletes for an NIL deal,” the email continued. “Who are they looking for?: Athletes who attend college in Montana and are interested in spreading the word about Senator Jon Tester and causes you care about.”

Lily Meskers, a track athlete for the University of Montana, said she “immediately felt frustration” upon receiving the offer, especially since Tester voted against legislation that would have banned biological men from competing in women’s sports such as hers.

“I had to ask myself, ‘Why would someone seek my endorsement when their values directly negatively impact me?’ Tester’s vote against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act is against everything I’ve worked toward as a female athlete,” Meskers said.

Tester’s campaign denied any knowledge of or involvement with the endorsement-buying scheme.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., who introduced legislation to ban biological men from women’s sports, blasted Tester’s hypocrisy.

“Tester voted against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act…then his backers tried to bribe football players to support him,” Tuberville wrote on X. “Jon Tester doesn’t represent Montana. He represents DC and the left coast. All hat and no cattle.”

(Headline USA) Even leftist commentators weren’t impressed by Vice President Kamala Harris’s first interview since launching her bid for the White House, admitting she failed to answer key questions about her record, Fox News reported.

During her sit-down with CNN’s Dana Bash on Thursday, Harris was asked directly about her various policy flip-flops since launching her presidential campaign earlier this summer. 

“I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed,” Harris insisted, using the Green New Deal as an example.

“You mentioned the Green New Deal. I have always believed— and I have worked on it—that the climate crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter, to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time. We did that with the Inflation Reduction Act,” Harris added.

Afterwards, NBC’s Yamiche Alcindor, who made headlines during the Trump administration for being virulently anti-Trump, called Harris out for the non-explanation.

“Harris keeps saying ‘my values haven’t changed’ while not explaining why her positions have changed,” Alcindor wrote. 

Alcindor noted that Harris also failed to explain her flip-flop on fracking, despite being pressed on it by Bash. 

“No, and I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020 that I would not ban fracking,” Harris told Bash. “As vice president. I did not ban fracking. As president, I will not ban fracking.”

CNN’s Daniel Dale similarly hit Harris over her fracking non-answer.

“The fact-check bottom line… is that she did not actually make clear at a 2020 debate that she had changed her previous support for a fracking ban,” he said on Thursday. “I certainly did not hear anywhere in there about Kamala Harris saying that she personally had abandoned her previously expressed 2019 view.”

Conservative commentator Auron MacIntyre said that Harris’s interview went so poorly that even Alcindor and Dale couldn’t help but point it out.
