Shades of Butler: Officers Searched for Ga. School Shooter 30 Min. before Attack

Note to reader: The headline of this story has been changed to emphasize the similarities between the July 13 Trump assassination attempt and the Sept. 4 Georgia school shooting. Both entailed stunning security failures, including officers searching for the shooter for some 30 minutes before the attacks.

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The Washington Post has published an investigation into the Sept. 4 Georgia school shooting, unearthing shocking evidence that law enforcement likely could have stopped 14-year-old Colt Gray from killing two students and two teachers—had investigators done their jobs correctly.

Along with stunning security failures leading up to the day of the shooting, the Post also revealed that local school resource officers searched for Gray for some 30 minutes before his attack—similar to how law enforcement was searching for Thomas Crooks for some 30 minutes before his July 13 assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

The Post’s Oct. 3 investigation also included more information about a tip the FBI received in 2023 about Gray making school-shooting threats on the online gaming platform, Discord. After Gray’s shooting last month, the FBI admitted that Gray had been on its radar—but insisted that there was “no probable cause for arrest or to take any additional law enforcement action” against the teenager before his shooting spree.

But according to the Post, law enforcement could have likely arrested Gray—or at least investigated him further instead of prematurely closing their case—had they looked into his threats more thoroughly.

Indeed, the Post said it reviewed images that Gray posted on his Discord account, and that “the carpet, wall color and trim in the photos shared by the Discord user appear consistent with images from online real estate listings that show the interior of the house Colt lived in at the time.”

However, Jackson County Sheriff’s officers never compared the Discord pictures with Gray’s home when it conducted its investigation, which was based on the FBI’s tip. Nor did they compare the firearms in the Gray household with those pictured on Colt’s Discord, the Post reported. Instead, they accepted Gray’s word that he didn’t make the threats, and that he deleted his Discord.

Had they compared the photos from Gray’s Discord with his home and firearms, they may have determined that was indeed responsible for making the school-shooting threats, according to the Post.

The reason for the local sheriff’s lack of investigation is stunning: The images were on an investigators’ phone when he visited the Gray household last year, but he couldn’t figure out how to open them, according to the Post.

“[Deputy Daniel] Miller conducted the interview without having seen the most critical evidence — screenshots of the Discord chat and those photos of the guns. He would later note in his report that the evidence was in an email attachment that he couldn’t figure out how to open on his phone while at the house … Then he closed the case, without having asked to compare the images posted online with Colin’s guns or to see inside the home,” the Post reported.

“Making terroristic threats against a school is a felony in Georgia. If the 13-year-old had been charged, experts said, a court could have prohibited him from living in a home where he had access to a firearm.”

Sheriff Janis Mangum told the Post that he still doesn’t think there was enough evidence to sustain a charge against Gray. But patrolman Justin Elliot, who was involved in the investigation, reportedly said that they should have done more.

“In hindsight, it was possible to bring those photos to the dad and say, ‘Do you recognize these?’” Elliot told the Post. “I do think it could have been done differently.”

The sheriffs’ bungled investigation wasn’t its only failure; investigators also failed to notify local schools about Gray’s threat. This is despite the fact that the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office told the FBI that it had notified local schools.

Along with the sheriffs’ failures, the Post also revealed another stunning mishap by local school resource officers.

According to the Post, on the morning of his shooting, Gray asked a disturbing question to a teacher about how the school responds to active shooters. The teacher also reportedly noticed Gray’s “unusually heavy bag”—which was concealing his rifle.

The teacher notified other staff, and resource officers rushed to find Gray, who had signed out of class to go to the bathroom. However, another student with the same last name also signed out of class around the same time.

“School resource officers, alerted to the threatening comments, converged on that bathroom and ordered ‘Colt Gray’ to come out, the two people said, but the wrong student appeared. The officers didn’t realize their mistake until after they escorted him back to the front office,” the Post reported.

Gray’s shooting began about 30 minutes later. It’s still not clear what happened between the time school resource officers started searching for him, and when he began firing.

Colt and his father, Colin Gray—who allowed his son to have access to firearms, even after the initial school-shooting threats—both face murder charges. Colin appeared in court for a preliminary hearing Wednesday, while the son is set to have a hearing on Dec. 4.

Did Bill Clinton Deliberately Sabotage Kamala via Laken Riley Gaffe?

(Headline USA) Lame-duck leader Joe Biden may not be the only elderly Democrat party leaders out to derail the presidential aspirations of Vice President Kamala Harris.

A remark from master word-mincer Bill Clinton raised suspicions that the 42nd president might be undertaking a sabotage campaign of his own—whether to pull yet another last-minute party bait-and-switch on the failing candidate or for other reasons yet to be determined.

Clinton acknowledged on Monday, while seemingly stumping for the Democrat nominee, that Georgia nursing student Laken Riley would still be alive if the Biden–Harris administration had properly vetted the illegal alien who killed her.

“Yeah, well, if they’d all been properly vetted that probably wouldn’t have happened,” Clinton said of Riley’s death.

However, he quickly qualified those remarks by defending the administration’s open-borders policy.

“America is not having enough babies to keep our population up, so we need immigrants that have been vetted to do work,” he said.

The 78-year-old Clinton, famously known for his forked-yet-gilded tongue, seemed to be trying to tie Riley’s death to a Democrat-led border bill that that Harris has said she would sign if elected.

Republicans rebuffed the too-little, too-late measure as a political ploy, arguing that it was intended to rerout more funding to the Homeland Security Department to assist with their bad-faith efforts to import additional illegal immigrants as part of the administration’s active open-borders policies.

They have pointed to a House-passed bill that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., refused to bring to the floor as an alternative.

Nonetheless, Harris and others have cited the bill’s failure to claim that former President Donald Trump and Republicans were unwilling to work with them on resolving the border crisis.

Riley’s Feb. 22 death came shortly after the Senate bill was first introduced, although her accused killer, Jose Ibarra, already had been in the country for more than nine months and had traveled from Texas to Athens, Ga., by way of New York City.

Clinton went on to claim that if Trump had backed the Senate’s border bill, “there wouldn’t be a problem, and he couldn’t keep people all torn up and upset.”

Trump’s campaign touted Clinton’s comments on social media, saying, “He was supposed to be campaigning FOR Kamala. YIKES.”

The former president’s slip-up has fueled suspicion that Democrats are looking to shake up their 2024 presidential ticket—again.

As Harris’s campaign momentum stalls in key swing states, some have suggested that Democrats might even be considering once again tapping former First Lady Hillary Clinton, who lost to Trump in 2016, to replace Harris on the ticket.

“The only plausible explanation here is that this is a 3D chess move to get Dems to drop Kamala in the waning days and substitute in CROOKED HILLARY!” Trump senior adviser Jason Miller wrote on X. “She’s running!”

However, since early voting has already begun in several states, a last-minute switcharoo on the Democratic ticket is unlikely.

A more plausible explanation for Bill Clinton’s bizarre comment is that Hillary Clinton doesn’t want to be the only Democrat to have lost an election to Trump.

FBI Caught Cooking Crimes Statistics

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Real Clear Investigations has caught the FBI manipulating crime statistics, stealthily changing the final stats for 2022 to show that crime went up that year—and not down, as the bureau originally reported.

“When the FBI originally released the “final” crime data for 2022 in September 2023, it reported that the nation’s violent crime rate fell by 2.1% … But the FBI has quietly revised those numbers, releasing new data that shows violent crime increased in 2022 by 4.5%. The new data includes thousands more murders, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults,” RCI reported Wednesday.

According to RCI, the updated data show that there were 80,029 more violent crimes in 2022 than in 2021—including 1,699 murders, 7,780 rapes, 33,459 robberies, and 37,091 aggravated assaults.

The FBI never announced the upward revisions. RCI said it only discovered it because the bureau’s website mentioned that it “updated” the data. When RCI compared the original data with the updated set, it found the massive upward revision.

RCI noted that the false statistic that crime dropped in 2022 has been widely reported by mainstream media, and used as a talking point by Democrats. For example, USA Today reported last month that crime dropped for a “third straight year” in 2023.

“It is up to the FBI to explain what they have done, and they haven’t explained these large changes,” Thomas Marvell, the president of Justec Research, a criminal justice statistical research organization, told RCI.

RCI’s bombshell investigation sparked outrage among conservatives, who noted that Donald Trump was “fact checked” by outlets such as ABC News over his claims that crime has risen under the Biden-Harris administration.

“At the debate when Trump said the FBI crime data was unreliable, ABC News ‘factchecked’ him with this ‘data,’” political commentator Clay Travis noted.

RCI also asked whether the FBI’s 2023 statistics can be believed, given the enormity of the 2022 revision.

“While the FBI claims that serious violent crime has fallen by 5.8% since Biden took office, the NCVS numbers show that total violent crime has risen by 55.4%. Rapes are up by 42%, robbery by 63%, and aggravated assault by 55% during Biden’s term,” RCI added.

“Since the NCVS started, the largest previous increase over three years was 27% in 2006, so the increase under Biden was slightly more than twice as large.”

Cruz Throws Red Flag on Linebacker Rival’s Anti-Woman, Pro-Open-Border Votes

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, caught Democrat challenger Colin Allred red-handed on issues including illegal immigration, women’s safety and Texas jobs in a debate for Cruz’s U.S. Senate seat held in Dallas late Tuesday.

Cruz colored Allred as an extension of Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris’s policies, hitting the Democrat congressman on his voting record in favor of perpetuating the border crisis.

“Colin Allred is Kamala Harris. Their records are the same,” Cruz said.

“I served with both of them,” he continued. “They voted in favor of open borders over and over and over again—and now, they are desperately trying to hide that from the voters.”

Cruz said he believes abortion is to be decided by the states, reminding Allred he is not in the Texas state legislature, nor is he the state’s governor.

Allred, who played in 32 games with the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, delivered his opening statement first, introducing himself as a former NFL linebacker and “the exact opposite” of his Republican opponent, who spent his youth as a top student of Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz and a clerk for then-Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist.

Cruz later evoked Allred’s sports background when he criticized the Democrat congressman’s four votes—including one for congressional Democrats’ so-called Equality Act, allowing men who believe they are women to violate women’s spaces.

In the way only a brilliant constitutional legal scholar like Cruz could do, he laid out an airtight argument, using his opponent’s defining characteristics to illustrate the fundamental problem with the act itself.

“Congressman Allred was an NFL linebacker,” Cruz exclaimed. “It is not fair for a man to compete against women!”

The debate was moderated by WFAA’s Jason Whitely and the Dallas Morning News’s Gromer Jeffers. The rules allowed for each candidate 90 seconds to answer questions and the opponent 90 seconds to respond. Candidates were granted 60 seconds for rebuttal.

When moderators moved on to the topic of in vitro fertilization, Cruz circled back to the previous topic and called out Allred for voting against Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) permits.

Allred furiously sipped water after grumbling “that’s not what the vote was about” when called out for voting in lockstep with President Joe Biden.

“There’s a difference between words and actions,” Cruz said of Allred, who responded to the LNG question by touting his own op-ed.

Cruz declared his strong support for IVF, mentioning a bill he drafted with Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., to safeguard embryo access for those seeking fertility treatments—an issue that has divided some in the pro-life community due to the disposal of unused embryos.

The GOP senator frequently promoted the website AllredFacts.com, which contains “THE FACTS about Allred’s All-Radical Record.”

Cruz’s campaign website includes sections combatting Allred’s stance on men in women’s sports, Texas energy, the border crisis, law and order, Israel, the Biden–Harris administration, government spending and abortion.

“I’ve spent 12 years fighting every single day to defend jobs and freedom and security,” Cruz said in his closing arguments.

“Congressman Allred wants to destroy what we got in Texas because he shares Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris’s values,” he added. “I will fight to keep Texas Texas.”

Fani Willis Ordered Ex-Lover to Stay Silent in Congressional Deposition

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis issued a direct order for former special prosecutor Nathan Wade to remain silent during his Tuesday deposition before the House Judiciary Committee.

On Friday, Willis sent a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan citing vague concerns that Wade—her former lover—could share sensitive details related to her ongoing election case against President Donald Trump.

Willis sent a separate letter to Wade informing him of the same claims.

Wade resigned from the case after news of his affair with Willis was exposed, raising serious questions about conflicts of interest. He had been working alongside Willis on the racketeering investigation into Trump.

He appeared on Tuesday for a behind-closed-doors deposition with the House Judiciary, where he faced intense questions about the case, potential coordination with Democrats and his relationship with Willis.

In an appearance on Newsmax, Jordan raised concerns that Wade had billed Fulton County for hours spent meeting with the anti-Trump Jan. 6 Committee and the Biden-Harris DOJ.

Jordan confirmed that the transcript would be made public as soon as next week in line with House rules.

Wade faced nearly six hours of questioning from House Republicans, according to the New York Post.

Outside the hearing, Wade ignored incoming requests for comments from reporters. Wade’s attorney, former Georgia Gov. Roy Barnes, refused to discuss specifics.

When asked if Wade invoked the Fifth Amendment, Barnes responded, “What crime has been committed here?” He added, “We gave our testimony, cooperated and we’re through.”

The scandal erupted after Trump co-defendant Michael Roman revealed Wade and Willis had a romantic relationship while investigating Trump’s efforts to question the result of the 2020 election in the Peach State.

Roman filed a motion to disqualify both Willis and Wade from the case, claiming that their relationship created a conflict of interest, as Willis took several vacation trips allegedly paid for by Wade.

Judge Scott McAfee ultimately ruled that either Wade or Willis would have to step down for the case to continue.

While Wade opted to resign, Trump and his co-defendants are now seeking an appeal to disqualify Willis from the case entirely. If successful, the motion could throw the case into disarray, ultimately leading to a potential dismissal.

Swing State Election Official Indirectly Confirms Election Interference

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The government official in one of the crucial swing states for the 2024 election recently indirectly admitted that Democrats will be interfering in the upcoming election.

Pennsylvania Secretary of State Al Schmidt recently told CBS News that, unlike other states, the swing state’s counties “cannot begin processing mail-in ballots before seven AM on election morning.”

To prevent Americans from asking why Pennsylvania can’t do the same thing other states do and suspecting election interference, Schmidt claimed that this issue would not benefit Democrats.

“And it is acutely frustrating to have a technical problem with a technical solution that is nonpartisan [and] nonpolitical does not benefit any candidate or any party,” he said.

The Gateway Pundit reported that, even though Schmidt is technically a Republican, he hates Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump with passion.

The news source also detailed how the Democratic officials in the swing state stole the 2020 election, posting a video clip from that election year with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani proving the election interference.

It wasn’t the first time when Democrats in Pennsylvania were exposed for trying to steal the upcoming election.

On Aug. 8, Pennsylvania’s Department of State indirectly claimed that Democrats would be stealing the 2024 election.

“Pennsylvanians won’t always know the final results of all races on election night. Any changes in results that occur as counties continue to count ballots are not evidence that an election is ‘rigged,'” the organization wrote.

The organization also tried to play dirty in early October by scheduling voter website “maintenance” at the same time when Trump was supposed to have his second rally in Butler, Pa. After facing the backlash from Trump supporters, the agency changed the “maintenance” hours.

At the end of the same month, the Republican National Convention also said that the Pennsylvania Democratic Party may be illegally recruiting out-of-state poll watchers.

While the convention was sounding the alarm, a Pennsylvania court ruled that the heavily Democratic counties of Philadelphia and Allegheny must count mismarked ballots, even if those ballots should be disqualified for having incorrect or missing dates.

In early September, the state’s appeal court also made it easier for Democrats to steal the election.

Additionally, Gov. Josh Shapiro, D-Pa., created a loophole allowing noncitizens to vote in the 2024 election.

Kamala Claims Trump Will Use Military to Go After Leftists

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris recently proved once again that she couldn’t defend her far-left positions on every single issue by resorting to fear-mongering and telling her followers that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump would use the United States military to put them behind bars.

Harris commented during her rally in Pennsylvania, one of the most critical swing states.

“He’s talking about the enemy within our country, Pennsylvania. He’s talking about that he considers anyone who doesn’t support him or who will not bend to his will an enemy of our country. It’s a serious issue. He is saying that he would use the military to go after them. Think about this,” she said.

Conservatives on Twitter responded to Harris’s recent lie.

“Kamala Harris just told a crowd in PA that Trump will put them in camps,” @EndWokeness wrote.

Others also stated that even if Trump were to use the military to put someone in prison, it would be communists.

“The enemy within are the Marxists and Communists who want to fundamentally transform America,” Xi Van Fleet, a Chinese-born American activist who escaped communist China and is telling people about the communist takeover of the United States.

Co-owner of Trending Politics Colin Rugg noted one thing that would help others distinguish whether Harris is lying.

“The higher and screechier her voice gets, the more she is lying. Every time,” he wrote.

Another anonymous person pointed out that these kinds of claims make the constant assassination attempts on Trump unsurprising.

Some people on Twitter also shared a video of Harris’s vice presidential pick, Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., telling students in Wisconsin that Trump would “use the U.S. Army against people who disagree with him.”

Some conservatives also indicated that the recent talking point is a reflection of what Democrats, both politicians and regular Americans, believe.

“No one with an IQ above Kamala’s 20% approval rating would believe such a stupid statement,” an anonymous person wrote, adding that Hillary Clinton previously advocated for massive deprogramming of Trump supporters.

As a result, it is not surprising, for example, that Democrats started supporting putting unvaccinated people in prisons and taking away their children.

Top Arab Restaurant Owner in Dearborn Goes Public w/ Trump Endorsement

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Donald Trump secured a high-profile endorsement from a prominent Arab American restaurant owner in Dearborn, Michigan, ahead of the November election.

Ali Aljahmi, the owner of one of the Dearborn, Michigan’s most popular Yemeni restaurants, publicly backed Trump in a video posted Monday.

This endorsement dealt a major blow to Vice President Kamala Harris, who is struggling to maintain support among Arab Americans amidst ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

Aljahmi, whose family has run the Sheeba franchise in Michigan, cited Trump’s economic and immigration policies as key reasons behind his endorsement.

He also emphasized that Trump is uniquely positioned to bring peace in a world fraught with international conflicts.

“We believe that your voice matters in our community, and that’s why we are voting for Donald J. Trump,” Aljahmi said in a video posted Monday to Sheeba Restaurant’s Instagram account. “Not only do we fully endorse him, we encourage you, the community to go out and vote for him.”

He continued: “He has a proven record of building the economy, securing our borders and not only putting the people first but putting America first. We want peace, and we believe that he’s the only candidate that can make that peace a reality.”

The video, which features professional editing and graphics, ends with Aljahmi urging his followers: “Go out and let your voices be heard. Let’s bring back the prosperity that we need in this country, and make America great again.”

With a recent AARP poll showing Harris and Trump in a dead heat in Michigan, the Arab American vote could be a deciding factor in determining the state’s 15 electoral votes.

CNN Validates Vance’s Assertion in Failed Attempt to Discredit Trump Quotes

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale set out to counter remarks by Sen. JD Vance about President Donald Trump’s record of not prosecuting his political opponents. However, little did Dale realize his write-up inadvertently validated the senator’s assertions.

In a now-viral interview with ABC News host Martha Raddatz on Sunday, Vance dismissed concerns that Trump would target his political foes if re-elected: “Martha, he was president for four years and he didn’t go after his political opponents.”

Dale quickly labeled the claim as “false” in a fact-check published Monday. He claimed that Trump “publicly and privately pressured the Justice Department, and others in his administration, to investigate or prosecute numerous political opponents.”

In an attempt to back his claim up, Dale compiled a list of individuals whom Trump had criticized publicly, asserting that this was evidence of Trump attempting to use the DOJ against them.

Yet here’s where the fact-check fell apart: none of the individuals on Dale’s list faced any criminal charges brought by Trump’s DOJ.

Dale’s list featured notable figures such as Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Joe Scarborough and even James Comey.

Dale also included Hunter Biden, who indeed faced criminal charges. But the prosecution was brought forth by federal prosecutors under the presidency of his father, Joe Biden—not Trump.

The prosecutor overseeing Hunter’s case, David Weiss, was appointed with the blessing of Delaware’s two Democratic senators, under the so-called blue-slip policy.

Trump, by contrast, faced two criminal indictments brought by a special counsel appointed by Biden’s attorney general, Merrick Garland.

Biden himself had privately expressed frustration that Garland wasn’t pursuing Trump aggressively and early enough, the liberal New York Times confirmed in a report.

On top of the federal charges, Trump also faced indictments in Fulton County and Manhattan—both led by Democratic district attorneys.

Trump’s company, the Trump Organization, nearly collapsed after New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, unleashed an unprecedented civil case against it.

On X, many critics swiftly lectured Dale’s failed fact-check.

Kamala Begs for Joe Rogan Airtime Despite Smearing from Her Own Party

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris may soon secure an interview with Joe Rogan on his popular podcast, Reuters reported on Monday.

This potential interview seems part of Harris’s last-ditch effort to win back support from male voters ahead of her November face-off with President Donald Trump.

News of Harris potentially appearing on Rogan’s Joe Rogan Experience stunned conservatives, as the show is known for its unconstrained, freewheeling conversations.

In the past, leftists and Democrats accused Rogan of being a leading spreader of misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also faced accusations of bigotry, racism and sexism.

Though Rogan views himself as a political centrist, his interviewing style could be challenging to the gaffe-prone vice president.

Rogan’s interviews, often lasting two to three hours, are far longer than the pre-taped, softball interviews Harris is used to.

“I’m not a big polling guy but if Kamala Harris is agreeing to go on Joe Rogan, we’re basically at campaign death rattle territory here,” podcast host Stephen L. Miller wrote on X.

National Review senior editor Charles C. W. Cooke highlighted the apparent hypocrisy in Harris’s willingness to sit down with Rogan, despite the left’s vicious attempts to cancel his show.

The Hodge Twins, conservative pro-MAGA commentators, echoed Miller, writing, “Kamala wouldn’t be going on Joe Rogan’s show if she was really winning.”

Another user added, “Kamala wouldn’t survive an interview with Joe Rogan.”

Investigative reporter Drew Hernandez chimed in, urging Harris to “please do” the interview. “Let 100’s of millions of men see how stupid you are,” he wrote. “Seriously, do it.”

Townhall columnist Dustin Grage expressed hope that Harris will appear on the show, predicting a “disaster.”

Podcast host Zeek Arkham suggested Rogan invite Megyn Kelly to cross-examine Harris during the interview.

“Megyn would make her ugly cry, which in turn, would make me ugly laugh. I’d need a medical inhaler from laughing so hard,” he wrote.

A specific timing for the interview has not been announced yet.

Since inheriting the Democratic nomination, Harris has only appeared on leftist networks for softball interviews, dodging scrutiny for her questionable record, flip-flopping, and family scandals.
