Woke Ben & Jerry’s Oppose ‘Fascism,’ Trump’s Inauguration

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Far-left ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s recently announced that it will organize a direct action “against fascism” to oppose the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.

Senior Editor at the Post Millennial Andy Ngo shared the company’s newsletter that revealed that the “People’s March” will take place on Jan. 18 in Washington, D.C., and other places all around the country. In its statement, Ben and Jerry’s encouraged customers to protest and “dissent.”

“Power to the people! On January 18, we’re joining the People’s March in Washington, DC (and beyond!) to send an urgent message to the incoming administration: You work for the people, and we’re here to hold you accountable,” the company wrote.

Ben and Jerry’s then claimed that the leftists will “fight for [their] rights and [their] future, and defend [their] freedoms against fascism,” the company wrote.

“Together, we will fight for our rights and our future and defend our freedoms against fascism. It is our right to protest and safely dissent [against] policies and practices that do not represent our beliefs – regardless of who is in power. We are more united than we are divided. Let’s make sure they know it!” the company wrote.

The company also included a link to RSVP in the newsletter.

“Ben and Jerry’s company politics is notoriously radical. They gave food to rioters at the violent CHAZ occupation in Seattle in 2020 and released propaganda demanding the defunding of law enforcement. They also advocate for the transitioning of children,” Ngo wrote in his post.

He also reminded his followers about the company’s hypocrisy regarding the “stolen land” narrative it’d been spreading.

“Ben and Jerry’s says the U.S. is illegitimate because it is on ‘stolen land.’ But the corporation’s property in Vermont also operates on former tribal land that has not been returned,” Ngo added.

The company was constantly pushing its far-left political beliefs on everybody, going as far as dedicating an entire page on its website to its “progressive values,” such as being anti-capitalist, anti-police, anti-fossil fuels, pro-racial justice, pro-rights for illegal aliens, pro-“sex changes” for minors and pro-climate “justice.”

“We have a progressive, nonpartisan social mission that seeks to meet human needs and eliminate injustices in our local, national and international communities by integrating these concerns [into] our day-to-day business activities,” Ben & Jerry’s stated.

The woke company also previously pushed its anti-Israel beliefs on people, refusing to sell ice cream to Israel, subjecting its employees to anti-Israel propaganda and suing its parent company so that Jews in Israel would not be able to eat the company’s ice cream.

(Maire Clayton, Headline USA) PRIDE Magazine was blasted on social media for a Wednesday article that praised Los Angeles for having the first LGBT fire chief.

The article was titled “Amid Palisades fire, Los Angeles’ first LGBTQ+ fire chief is proving lesbians get it done” and praised Fire Chief Kristin Crowley.

“The stereotype of lesbians always being prepared for an emergency — everyone knows a queer woman who doesn’t leave the house without a Leatherman multitool and carabiners — holds true for Los Angeles’ first openly LGBTQ+ Fire Chief Kristin Crowley who is overseeing the firefighters trying to stop the Palisades fire,” the story began.

Social media users were quick to point out the issues with the story.

“0% containment isn’t something to celebrate, you guys,” one user wrote.

Political commentator Rogan O’Handley ripped the article on X.

“You can’t make this up,” he wrote as he listed all of the problems California currently faces.

Others expressed their disgust with the story.

“People should be embarrassed to write trash like this…” one user added.

Crowley was ripped apart for how she has handled the ongoing fires in Los Angeles.

The diversity, equity and inclusion hire joined the Los Angeles Fire Department in March 2022.

She previously stated there are “never enough” diversity hires and explained a DEI culture at work as a priority.

LAFD also stated they were committed to DEI as well.

Actor James Woods blasted the department on social media.

“Refilling the water reservoirs would have been a welcome priority, too, but I guess she had too much on her plate promoting diversity,” Woods wrote.

Crowley ended up turning on the city’s leadership while speaking with a reporter on Friday. She claimed her department was not helped enough as the fire continues to tear through the state.

Biden turned to Vice President Kamala Harris, who is from California, and made a remark regarding the fires.

“Madam Vice President, I know you’re directly affected,” he began. “So you fire away, no pun intended.”

The comment sparked comments on social media.

“Is there something funny about this?” RNC Research wrote. “Absolutely disgusting.”

Others noted that Harris did not seem amused with the statement, as it took her a few seconds before she responded with “indeed.”

“Oh Kamala was not having it lmfao,” one user commented.

Biden previously made another remark while at a conference with Governor Gavin Newsom.

Instead of address the fires, the president decided to say he is now a great grandfather.

“The good news is I’m a great-grandfather as of today,” he said before declining to answer questions.

The clip quickly circulated on social media with users expressing their frustrations with Biden.

“What an absolute disgrace that man is. He make me sick to my stomach,” one user wrote.

Others expressed how he is self-centered as many Californians are losing their homes.

“30,000 evacuated and may lose their homes… and he talks about himself,” one user wrote. “He’s so awful.”

Biden made similar distasteful remarks while he went to Hawaii after the Maui wildfire in 2023.

“You guys catch the boots out here? That’s a hot ground, man,” he said at the time while he pointed to the boots on the paws of a cadaver dog.

Biden also claimed to have “a little sense” of what residents were going through because of a small kitchen fire he had in his home almost 20 years prior.

“I almost lost my wife, my ’67 Corvette and my cat,” he commented.

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Biden administration staffers would “scream” and “curse” at Facebook employees to censor COVID-19 posts on social media, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed on Friday.

On Tuesday, Meta announced the elimination of its politically biased fact-checkers as part of a company-wide shift to restore free speech. Three days later, popular podcaster Joe Rogan released a nearly three-hour-long interview with Zuckerberg, who blamed the Democrat administration for coercing his company into censoring conservatives.

Zuckerberg said he was “sympathetic” to COVID-19 censorship policies early in the pandemic but admitted that the extension of “two weeks to flatten the curve” complicated Meta’s rules.

“This really hit the most extreme, I’d say during it was the Biden administration when they were trying to roll out the vaccine program,” the social media mogul told Rogan, emphasizing his support for vaccines. “I think that while they were trying to push that program, they also tried to censor anyone who was basically arguing against it.”

Zuckerberg added, “They pushed us super hard to take down things that honestly were true.”

Facebook and Instagram faced pressure to remove content questioning vaccine side effects, according to Zuckerberg, who claimed Meta was initially wary of the Democrat government’s demands.

Rogan asked Zuckerberg to clarify who exactly he was referring to, to which the Meta CEO vaguely said, “It was people. It was people in the Biden administration.”

Zuckerberg claimed he was “not involved in those conversations directly” with government staffers.

Meta’s Chief Global Affairs Officer Joel Kaplan spoke openly about the Biden administration’s anti-First Amendment governance Tuesday on Fox News. He said the Democrat administration’s social media censorship made it “open season” for other countries to suppress free speech.

Kaplan added that the Biden administration put “a lot of pressure” on Facebook and Instagram to censor “humor and satire,” especially in content related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Later in his interview with Rogan, Zuckerberg emphasized the “breakdown in trust” resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic not just in the U.S., but across the globe.

The Meta CEO recognized the timing of his company’s policy shift—just days before Trump takes office—and remarked that there is “no good time” to make drastic changes.

Cruz Slams Dem Mayor’s ‘Deliberate Decision’ That Kept California on Fire

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, slammed the Democrat mayor of Los Angeles on Friday for a “deliberate decision” that kept California’s fires burning.

On his “Verdict with Ted Cruz” podcast, the senator took aim at Democrats pointing to climate change as the cause of the state’s fires. He suggested they take a look at their elected officials instead, such as Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

“Let me just say, for Democrat politicians, their answer to any crisis is they just say, climate change, climate change, climate change,” Cruz said. “Well, that doesn’t absolve the elected officials of the responsibility to put policies in place that keep people safe, and California consistently has put in place policies that make it the forest fires bigger, make them spread more quickly, make them harder to stop.”

Cruz noted that the Bass cutting the fire department’s budget by $17 million in spite of warnings rendered Californians helpless to fight the fires.

“Mayor Karen Bass was warned,” he said. “She was warned publicly and explicitly, and she slashed the budget anyway. That is a deliberate decision, and it’s a decision that, sadly, is having catastrophic consequences.”

“Why does the city slash $17 million from the fire department?” Cruz continued. “Particularly when the mayor is warned that this will limit our ability to fight wildfires? Well, look, there is a growing problem with radical left-wing politicians who prioritize their own political agenda over doing their damn job.”

The Texas senator identified Los Angeles’s wasteful spending of taxpayer dollars, which included a six-figure stroll through a transgender café and thousands toward a gay men’s chorus.

“The same year, they slashed 17 million from the fire department, Los Angeles spent a $100,000 on the midnight stroll transgender café. They also spent money on $14,000 for the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, and $170,000 for, quote, ‘social justice art worker, investments,’” he said.

Cruz blasted Bass for prioritizing social justice over the safety of her constituents.

“So those are the priorities that the Democrat mayor has, rather than hiring firefighters to protect their citizens from the wildfires that are endangering their homes and their families,” the senator told his listeners.

“It is indefensible and it’s not like this was a surprise,” he added. “She was repeatedly warned, and she disregarded those warnings.”

Liberal Journalist Obtains 800 Pages of Emails from Trump’s Pick to Run the FBI

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Bloomberg journalist Jason Leopold announced Friday that he’s obtained nearly 900 pages of emails written by Donald Trump’s pick to run the FBI, Kash Patel. The emails come from Patel’s time serving in the first Trump administration’s Office of Director of National Intelligence.

Leopold said he filed a Freedom of Information Act request for Patel’s emails in 2021 because he wanted to find out what Patel did at the ODNI. The reporter filed a lawsuit for the emails when the agency didn’t produce them. Leopold said he finally received nearly 900 pages of Patel’s emails some two years later, and that there are thousands of more pages he’s yet to receive.

According to Leopold, the emails show that Patel worked to debunk the Russiagate hoax by working to declassify documents.

“He coordinated efforts with high-ranking officials at the White House, Department of Justice and Republican lawmakers to declassify documents he believed were favorable to Trump,” Leopold said. “His motive appeared to be convincing the public that Trump’s narrative on Russia—that it was a ‘hoax’ motivated by hatred of the president—was correct.”

Patel also worked behind the scenes to exonerate the Trump’s former national security advisor, Michael Flynn.

“One of Patel’s targets was Susan Rice, President Barack Obama’s former national security adviser. She, along with 38 other former Obama officials, was accused by the Trump administration of illegally “unmasking” the identity of Flynn from intelligence reports and leaking it to the media,” Leopold wrote.

Patel reportedly didn’t respond to the reporter’s request for comment on his emails.

Patel’s nomination as FBI director will need confirmation by the Republican-led Senate, which recently thwarted Trump’s wish to appoint then-Rep. Matt Gaetz as attorney general.

If confirmed, Patel will lead the FBI as it faces widespread criticism for weaponization against Republicans.

For instance, the FBI carried out a head-scratching search warrant of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, claiming to look for so-called classified documents.

FBI agents, acting under orders from the Biden-Harris administration, searched through former First Lady Melania Trump’s drawers and personal belongings.

The search warrant resulted in Special Counsel Jack Smith indicting Trump. However, the lawfare case was dismissed after U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon ruled that Smith’s appointment was unconstitutional.

New Orleans City Council Launches Probe into Bourbon Street Safety Barriers

(Nolan McKendry, The Center Square) The New Orleans City Council has approved a resolution to investigate the procurement, design, and implementation of street barrier systems on Bourbon Street.

The investigation aims to scrutinize the functionality and accountability of both the previously installed Heald HT2 Matador system and the newly acquired RCS8040 S10 removable bollard system.

The investigation will encompass a wide range of materials, including engineering reports, safety evaluations, emails, funding sources, maintenance documents and records related to the installation and operation of the barriers.

The council is particularly interested in understanding the systems’ impact on public safety and the decision-making process behind their procurement.

In an amendment to the resolution, council members emphasized the need for confidentiality during the investigation, citing concerns about security risks and the integrity of the process.

Documents gathered will be exempt from public disclosure until the investigation is concluded or the council authorizes their release.

Public commentary at the council meeting reflected mixed opinions. Some residents raised concerns about the secrecy surrounding the investigation. Others, including online commenters, focused on broader issues of pedestrian safety and traffic management in the French Quarter.

Council President Helena Moreno explained that premature disclosure of sensitive information could lead to misinterpretations and public confusion, especially given the potential implications for homeland security and terrorism prevention.

However, Moreno neglected to mention that if the findings were to be made public, they could also expose the city to considerable legal liability.

The investigation comes as the families of at least seven victims of a Jan. 1 terror attack on Bourbon Street are threatening a lawsuit over the barrier failure, saying the atrocity was preventable with a modicum of planning.

Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the perpetrator of that attack, went on at least two scouting expeditions in the French Quarter, during which he used Meta Glasses to record his route and familiarize himself with the area.

At 3:17 a.m. on New Year’s Day, he drove into a crowd of revelers and got into a shootout with New Orleans Police Department officers, injuring two, before he died of his wounds. The attack took the lives of 14 bystanders, some as young as 18.

Investigators at the scene also found a flag of the Islamic State affixed to the truck hitch, as well as several improvised explosive devices that Jabbar had planted in advance, but which failed to detonate.

With the city preparing for major events like Super Bowl LIX and the annual Mardi Gras parades, the need to reassure tourists may take on a particular sense of urgency.

Councilmember Jean Paul Morrell highlighted the importance of ensuring that the barrier systems are effective and that the city receives adequate value for its investment.

The council’s findings will be released as part of a final report, along with all related documents. In the meantime, the council has pledged to conduct a thorough review to bolster safety and accountability for one of New Orleans’s most iconic streets.

Police Kill Man Who Investigated Pizzagate Conspiracy

(Headline USA) A man who fired a gun inside a restaurant in the nation’s capital after an online conspiracy theory called “Pizzagate” motivated him to do so nearly a decade ago was shot and killed by North Carolina police during a weekend traffic stop.

Edgar Maddison Welch was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by officers in Kannapolis on Saturday night, according to a Kannapolis Police Department news release. One of the officers recognized the SUV as one he’d seen Welch drive before, police said. The officer had arrested Welch before and knew he had an outstanding warrant for a felony probation violation at the time, according to authorities.

When the officers approached the vehicle to arrest Welch, police said the man pulled out a handgun and pointed it at one of the officers. After he was instructed to drop the weapon but didn’t, two officers shot Welch, authorities said.

Emergency responders took Welch to the hospital and he died from his injuries two days later, according to the release. None of the officers, nor the driver and another passenger, were injured.

In 2016, authorities said, Welch drove from North Carolina with an assault rifle to Comet Ping Pong restaurant in Washington after believing a conspiracy theory that prominent Democrats were operating a child sex trafficking ring out of the pizzeria. The theory, dubbed “Pizzagate,” began circulating online during the 2016 presidential election.

He entered the restaurant armed, and as customers fled the scene, Welch shot at a locked closet inside. After realizing there were no children held captive in the pizzeria, Welch peacefully surrendered. No one was injured.

At the time, Comet Ping Pong’s owner, James Alefantis, said the conspiracy theory and subsequent violence from it traumatized him and his staff.

While the conspiracy theory about Comet Ping Pong may have been disinformation, the wider scandal known as Pizzagate had elements of truth. The scandal stemmed from Wikileaks publishing emails from Obama-era White House senior adviser John Podesta’s hacked account. Those emails showed Podesta using coded language similar to that used in pedophile communities on the dark web.

The messages fueled growing suspicions and conspiracy theories that Podesta and many of his powerful Democrat associates may have been operating a Satanic child-sex ring, although the evidence was never substantiated apart from his emails.

In one such, Jim Steyer, the brother of Democrat mega-donor and former presidential candidate Tom Steyer, wrote Podesta a message that was interpreted as coded language for an orgy involving young black boys:

“Hey John,
We know you’re a true master of cuisine and we have appreciated that for years …
But walnut sauce for the pasta? Mary, plz tell us the straight story, was the sauce actually very tasty?”

In another, Susan Sandler, a major Democrat donor whose family foundation is behind the recent efforts to discredit Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, wrote to Podesta that after a recent meeting he might have left behind a keepsake handkerchief stained with bodily fluids, according to interpretations:

“The realtor found a handkerchief (I think it has a map that seems pizza-related. Is it yorus [sic]? “

Podesta wrote back, “It’s mine, but not worth worrying about.”

In any case, Welch later pled guilty to interstate transportation of a firearm and ammunition and assault with a dangerous weapon in 2017. His judge, now Supreme Court Justice Kentaji Brown Jackson, subsequently sentenced him to four years in prison.

City of Kannapolis communications director Annette Privette Keller confirmed the man who died was the same one involved in the “Pizzagate” incident.

The shooting death of Welch, a resident of Salisbury, is under review by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, and the officers who fired at him are on administrative leave, per the department’s protocol.

(Cameron Arcand, The Center Square) Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers confiscated nearly 554 pounds of cocaine hidden within boxes on a tractor-trailer in Holbrook on Monday.

The department estimates that cocaine is worth anywhere from $16.6 million to $22.1 million, according to a news release.

The drugs were being smuggled from California with the goal of reaching Canada. Law enforcement had pulled them over for alleged “civil traffic violations.”

“AZDPS remains committed to working with our law enforcement partners at all levels to dismantle drug trafficking operations and disrupt the flow of illegal drugs within our communities,” the news release stated.

Some of the packaging hiding the cocaine was labeled with luxury car brand logos such as Land Rover and Lamborghini Urus.

Amarjeet Singh Matharu, the 31-year-old driving the large truck, was arrested for alleged “possession and transportation of narcotic drugs for sale” in Navajo County.

DPS regularly touts the seizure of illegal drugs by its troopers.

From August to November, the department noted that it caught 6,498 pounds of drugs, including nearly 5,000 pounds of marijuana, 837 pounds of fentanyl, and 231 pounds of cocaine.

Merchan Formally Confers ‘Felon’ Status on Trump at Otherwise Toothless Sentencing

(, The Center Square) President-elect Donald Trump lashed out at Democrats and the New York judge who sentenced him to an unconditional discharge, meaning he won’t go to jail, before taking office on Jan. 20.

Trump, who attended the New York hearing virtually, vowed to appeal the sentence in a lengthy missive released after the sentencing via Truth Social.

“The Radical Democrats have lost another pathetic, unAmerican Witch Hunt,” Trump wrote.

“After spending tens of millions of dollars, wasting over 6 years of obsessive work that should have been spent on protecting New Yorkers from violent, rampant crime that is destroying the City and State, coordinating with the Biden/Harris Department of Injustice in lawless Weaponization, and bringing completely baseless, illegal, and fake charges against your 45th and 47th President, ME, I was given an UNCONDITIONAL DISCHARGE.”

Trump has been barred from speaking about the case due to a gag order imposed by corrupt Judge Juan Merchan. He spoke freely about his conviction for the first time after the sentencing.

In May 2024, a Manhattan jury convicted Trump of 34 counts of falsifying business records during the 2016 election after his lawyer at the time, Michael Cohen, designated extortion payments to porn-star Stormy Daniels as legal costs.

Trump reiterated in his statement Friday that he had done nothing wrong in the case, for which both Merchan and George Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg took extraordinary liberties with the rule of law to cobble together charges that would stick.

In order to circumvent the already expired federal statute of limitations, it was necessary to charge Trump with a state-level crime instead. But since the specific charge for falsifying business records was only a misdemeanor under New York law, prosecutors had to add a second, unspecified charge to forge ahead with “first degree” felony counts.

Merchan—whose daughter received millions of dollars for work on Democrat campaigns, including that of Trump’s eventual 2024 rival, Kamala Harris—then took the unprecedented step of telling the jury that it did not need to agree on what the second charge was in order to convict the GOP leader.

Trump said the fact that the corrupt judge was forced to issue the sentence without any consequences underscored the fact that the entire prosecution was a sham.

“That result alone proves that, as all Legal Scholars and Experts have said, THERE IS NO CASE, THERE WAS NEVER A CASE, and this whole Scam fully deserves to be DISMISSED,” the president-elect wrote. “The real Jury, the American People, have spoken, by Re-Electing me with an overwhelming MANDATE in one of the most consequential Elections in History.”

Merchan handed down the sentence on Friday after the U.S. Supreme Court declined to intervene on Trump’s behalf.

In a 5-4 decision that saw Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Amy Coney Barrett—a Trump appointee—joining the court’s three radical leftists, the majority said Trump’s problems with sentencing were “relatively insubstantial,” clearing the way for Merchan to fulfill his petty political vendetta.

“After careful analysis and obedience of government mandates, pursuant of law, the court feels the only sentence is an unconditional discharge, which is a lawful and permissible sentence for falsifying business records,” Merchan said during the sentencing. “I impose that sentence for all 34 counts, and sir, I wish you godspeed as you pursue your second term in office.”

Despite Barrett’s betrayal, Trump thanked the Supreme Court in a Truth Social post late Thursday and said he was focused on his second term.

“The pathetic, dying remnants of the Witch Hunts against me will not distract us as we unite and, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he wrote.
