Defense Sec.’s Hidden Hospitalization Triggers Natl’ Security Concerns, Biden Uninformed

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The Pentagon took three days to inform not just White House defense officials but also President Biden about Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin‘s four-day hospitalization at Walter Reed Medical Center, several media outlets reported on Saturday evening.

The secrecy surrounding Austin’s Jan. 1 hospitalization, stemming from complications of an elective medical procedure, raised dire concerns about national security and improper communication regarding his medical condition.

Politico reported that national security adviser Jake Sullivan reportedly reacted with shock upon hearing the news on Jan. 4. Moreover, Biden was only notified after Sullivan was informed of the hospitalization, CNN reported. Additionally, the Pentagon informed Congress just 15 minutes before Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder issued a public statement on Jan. 5.

Ryder’s statement read: “On the evening of January 1, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for complications following a recent elective medical procedure.”

He added, “He is recovering well and is expecting to resume his full duties today. At all times, the Deputy Secretary of Defense was prepared to act for and exercise the powers of the Secretary, if required.”

Some U.S. officials reportedly criticized the delayed notification, with one telling Politico, “This should not have happened this way,” and another stating, “The vast, vast majority of leaders were unaware.”

Notably, Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks was in Puerto Rico during the hospitalization but maintained what the Associated Press described as a “communications setup” abroad, allowing her to fulfill the duties of Defense secretary.

The Pentagon Press Association, which represents Defense Department reporters, rebuked the delay in informing the press and public about Austin’s hospitalization.

“The fact that he has been at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for four days and the Pentagon is only now alerting the public late on a Friday evening is an outrage,” the association said.

“At a time when there are growing threats to U.S. military service members in the Middle East and the U.S. is playing key national security roles in the wars in Israel and Ukraine, it is particularly critical for the American public to be informed about the health status and decision-making ability of its top defense leader.”

The details of Austin’s medical condition remain unclear.

Austin responded to the criticism in a statement on a Saturday statement. After thanking the medical team at Water Reed, Austin claimed: “I also understand the media concerns about transparency and I recognize I could have done a better job ensuring the public was appropriately informed. I commit to doing better. But this is important to say: this was my medical procedure, and I take full responsibility for my decisions about disclosure.”

Editor’s Note: This news article has been updated with breaking reporting stating that President Joe Biden was unaware of the hospitalization. It has also been updated to include a statement issued by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

Watchdog Group Probes TSA Over Illegal Aliens Vetting Scandal

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A conservative legal group has launched a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the federal government over accusations that TSA is improperly vetting illegal aliens who lack passports or other valid forms of identification.

America First Legal sent a five-page letter to the DHS, requesting records showing the monthly count of illegal aliens boarding airplanes from fiscal year 2021 to the present date. The letter also seeks documents regarding the total number of individuals allowed to board planes using so-called “acceptable alternative identification.”

Additionally, AFL is seeking documents outlining potential security risks associated with the use of “acceptable alternative identification.” The requested documents include keywords such as: “acceptable alternate identification,” “acceptable alternative identification,” “CBP One” or “NO NAME GIVEN.”

AFL’s document lawsuit stems from allegations raised by conservative commentator Ashley St. Clair and Fox News border correspondent Bill Melugin, accusing the DHS, which oversees TSA, of allowing illegal aliens to board flights without the required documents, unlike regular Americans.

Reed Rubinstein, AFL’s director of oversight and investigations, expressed concern in reaction to the accusations.

“Even as American citizens and law-abiding immigrants were forced to suffer the indignities and inconvenience of Christmas-season travel at our airports, it seems DHS went out of its way to ensure illegal ‘migrants’ received preferential treatment,” he said in a press release.

He added, “Unfortunately, this was simply the most recent assault on the rule of law and American sovereignty by the Biden Administration and its allied network of ‘charities’ and businesses that profit from mass illegal immigration.”

In a now-viral video, St. Clair accused Delta Airlines of allowing illegal aliens to board flights bound for New York. Although U.S. citizenship or legal residency is not required to board flights, the main concern was that these recently arrived illegal aliens lacked foreign passports.

Melugin, known for sharing numerous viral border videos, revealed that TSA displayed a sign that read, “Non-US Citizens Without Passwords Only Enter Here.”

He specifically said: “Flying out of Tucson airport tonight and the terminal is full of illegal immigrants released into the US with their DHS paperwork. Airport personnel are directing them into a specific ‘immigration line’ at security while all other passengers go thru [sic] regular line. I likely saw some of these people crossing illegally in Lukeville [Arizona] this week.”

These accusations prompted Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, to issue a stern warning to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. “In effect, TSA is applying one standard for verifying the identities of American citizens, and another, weaker standard for ‘verifying’ the identities of illegal aliens. This is alarming,” Cruz wrote in a letter to Mayorkas.

Similarly, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., issued a letter to Delta CEO over the accusations. “How many non-resident aliens has Delta airlines transported on behalf of nongovernmental organizations since January 20, 2021?” Gaetz questioned in the Dec. 22 letter.

Biden Ridiculed as ‘Dementia Hitler’ Following J6 Falsehoods

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden’s militant speech on the anniversary of the Jan. 6 protests left many conservative commentators and political analysts concerned due to the alarmist and disturbing tone of the scandal-laden president.

From likening himself to George Washington to portraying his primary opponent as a Neo-Nazi, Biden’s rhetoric led many to reverse roles and assert that Biden, rather than former President Donald Trump, embodies Hitler. The backlash was so extensive that “Dementia Hitler” (referring to Biden) trended on Twitter.

Commencing his address, Biden evoked history: “In the winter of 1777, it was harsh and cold as the Continental Army marched to Valley Forge, General George Washington knew he faced the most daunting of tasks: to fight and win a war against the most powerful empire that existed in the world at the time.”

He continued, setting the scene to 2023, “Today, we gather in a new year, some 246 years later, just one day before January 6th, a day forever shared in our memory because it was on that day that we nearly lost America — lost it all.”

Legal scholar Jonathan Turley rebuked Biden’s claims on a Saturday op-ed, describing their “Orwellian character,” and challenged the president’s efforts to liken himself to historical figures like Washington.

“Of course, Washington was a unifying figure in his time. He did not declare all Tories to be traitors… Biden portrayed the 74 million voters for Trump as virtual redcoats seeking the return of the monarchy,” Turley wrote.

He added, “Given his record, Biden’s effort to disguise himself as George Washington left him looking foolish in a uniform two sizes too big for his stature.”

A plethora of critics, labeling Biden as “Dementia Hitler,” expressed their views on Twitter, particularly denouncing the low-polling president for attempting to associate Republican voters with neo-Nazism.

This phrase emerged due to Biden’s disturbing walk as he exited the stage. Video footage showed First Lady Jill Biden guiding the president as he left the stage.

“Dementia Hitler’s staff finally figured out that if they put nothing but American flags in the background he would look less satanic when he delivered his message of hate to the country,” shared author Scott Adams with his one million Twitter followers.

Biden’s unsteady walk wasn’t the sole unusual element of his speech. During the remarks, Biden asserted that he had attended the funerals of officers who died “as a result” of Jan. 6.

However, not a single officer died due to violence on Jan. 6. There were five deaths subsequent to Jan. 6, including the late veteran Ashli Babbitt, who was shot and killed by a Capitol Police officer. One person died from a drug overdose. Three others, including USCP Officer Brian Sicknick, passed away from natural causes.

Wall Street’s ‘Fearless Girl’ Dressed in Pro-Hamas Clothing

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A Jew-hating pro-Hamas supporter clothed the famous New York City “Fearless Girl” statue in pro-Palestine clothing on Jan. 3, 2024, which drew backlash from people who were passing by Wall Street, the location of the statue.

The activist who was born in the city and identified herself only as Fatima put a brown keffiyeh around the neck of the bronze sculpture to protest the Biden administration’s backing for Israel’s military actions in the Gaza Strip, according to the New York Post.

In addition to that, the woman who hid her true identity due to her support of the Muslim terrorists also attached a Palestinian flag that said “Freedom for Palestine” to the statue.

Ironically, both the flag and the terrorist scarf were attached to the statue that was erected back in 2017 by a feminist as a symbol of women’s empowerment — the part of the Marxist ideology that has never been accepted by Muslims anywhere in the world, including Gaza.

On the other hand, people who do not support terrorists who murder people on their land criticized the decision of the activist.

“This isn’t the right place for this,” one person told Fatima, who is in her 20s.

Some people even snatched the scarf and flag off the popular attraction before handing it back to the Hamas supporter.

One of the leftist tourists also asked Fatima to remove the pro-Palestine symbols so that she could take a picture of herself with the statue, which was forged to “ignite a conversation about the importance of gender diversity in corporate leadership.”

Fatima defended her activism by saying that man-haters before her also used the statue to push the destructive #MeToo movement.

The activist whose family came from the West Bank also doubled down on her support of the terrorists by saying that she did not condemn Hamas for crossing the border of Israel and murdering 1,200 innocent Israelis as well as tourists from other countries, adding that Israeli civilian casualties were a necessity of Palestinian resistance to the mythical Jewish occupation of Palestine.

When she was asked what was the motivation for the display, Fatima said that it was to raise awareness for the pro-terrorist rally that is supposed to take place in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 13., 2024.

She also tried to justify her position by saying that hundreds of people in the leftist and Hamas-supporting New York City took photos of the statue, adding that “95% of the reaction has been positive.”

Haley Summons Police to Oust Pro-Trump Activist from Rally: ‘Straight Out of Biden Playbook’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The Nikki Haley presidential campaign called law enforcement to remove pro-Trump activist and journalist Laura Loomer from an Iowa rally, video footage showed.

Loomer, known for vocally protesting at former President Donald Trump’s opponents’ rallies, shared the video on Twitter, accusing Haley of avoiding confrontation.

“I was literally just standing and her staff let me inside the event after they sent me confirmation of my tickets,” Loomer said on Saturday. “How does Nikki Haley plan on dealing with Putin and Xi if she can’t even handle Laura Loomer?”

The video shows at least two Indianola police officers asking Loomer and her videographer to exit the campaign event. “Sir, I’m asking you to leave,” Sgt. Devin Thomas told Loomer’s cameraman, to which Loomer replied, “Why are you asking me to leave?”

Thomas clarified that the premise was “private property” and that the campaign wanted her to leave. “It’s a presidential debate… What’s the issue?” Loomer asked. “Please gather your things and move, please,” Thomas pleaded.

“I don’t understand. What’s the issue? You work for Nikki’s campaign… Why?” Loomer said, pointing the camera at an unknown individual, presumably a campaign staffer.

“What’s the point of having town halls if you’re going to kick people out… She wants to be the first female president and then she’s kicking a woman out of an event,” Loomer continued before storming out from the campaign event.

“Have a nice day!” a man can be heard saying.

Some of Haley’s staunchest critics slammed her campaign for booting Loomer from the event.

“If Nikki Haley can’t talk to people who challenge her here in the United States, she has no business representing our country abroad – period,” reacted Vivek Ramaswamy, who is also seeking the Republican nomination for president.

Pro-Trump supporter Alex Bruesetiz chimed in, saying that Haley “is trying to have an American journalist arrested.” He added, “Straight out of the Biden playbook.”

Notably, this would not mark the first time Loomer has been forced out from presidential rallies or political events.

In February 2023, Loomer, along with a group of presumably pro-Trump supporters, was booted out of a parking lot where presidential candidate Ron DeSantis was holding an event. Loomer and the men held “Trump Save America 2024” signs before being approached by a police officer.

“So, DeSantis’ people, told you that we have to leave?” Loomer asked a law enforcement official in Florida, to which he replied affirmatively, “Yes.”

An undeterred Loomer protested another DeSantis campaign event in October 2023. Viral footage depicts Loomer holding a megaphone and shouting through a door where the DeSantis campaign held a prayer.

“You are never going to be president of the United States of America. You are never going to beat President Donald Trump,” she screamed in the video.

In contrast, Trump has given several shoutouts to Loomer while at campaign rallies.

Fox Co-Founder Wished Trump to Die in 2023

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Barry Diller, a co-founder of Fox News, revealed to Semafor that one of the things that he got wrong for the then-upcoming 2023 was his prediction and desire that Donald Trump would die that year.

“That Trump would be figuratively or more hopefully dead,” he said.

From October 1984 to April 1992, Diller served as chairman and CEO of Fox News, according to the National Pulse. Right now, he serves as the chairman of the IAC holding company and the Expedia Group.

It wasn’t the first time when the Democrat media and business mogul exposed his hatred toward Trump. Diller has been referring to Trump as a “joke” and ‘evil” throughout the years. One of the times when he expressed his pure hatred toward the non-establishment politician was in a 2018 interview with fellow leftist Maureen Dowd.

“I would so love it if he were being blackmailed by Putin. That would make me very happy. This was a man of bad character from the moment he entered adulthood, if not before. Pure, bad character. Ugh, Trump,” the man with Trump Derangement Syndrome said.

One of the main reasons why Diller hated Trump and his presidency was his immigration policy. He claimed in 2017 that Trump’s efforts to end the mass immigration agenda that is pushed by Marxists was causing American workers to leave the country for places like Germany, even though this ridiculous take is not backed by any emigration data.

Diller, however, is not the only anti-Trump person who was a part of the Fox corporation. Rupert Murdoch previously made it crystal clear that he is not a Trump supporter, going as far as endorsing a newly discovered RINO, Gov. Ron DeSantis, R–Fla., who joined the 2024 presidential race. When DeSantis started polling in either high single digits or low double digits, Murdock stopped supporting the failed politician.

SCOTUS Agrees to Hear Case on Trump Ballot Ban, Setting Twitter Ablaze

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear the infamous Colorado Supreme Court’s case banning former President Donald Trump from appearing on the state’s primary ballot.

The Court announced a scheduled hearing for Feb. 8 to hear Trump’s appeal against a Colorado ruling that he is barred from holding public office over his participation in what Democrats have termed an insurrection on Jan. 6.

The Colorado court specifically cited the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which blocks office holders from holding office again if they insurrect against the U.S. government. However, Trump has neither been convicted or indicted on any insurrection charges, raising concerns about due process.

In a filing submitted to the Supreme Court on Wednesday, Trump rebuked the Colorado decision: “The question of eligibility to serve as President of the United States is properly reserved for Congress, not the state courts, to consider and decide.”

The contentious ruling coincided with a nationwide effort to block Trump’s presidential campaign from appearing on the Republican primary ballots. Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows issued a unilateral ruling also blocking Trump from appearing on the state’s ballot.

“All I want is fair,” Trump said of the decision on Friday. The former president made reference to the vicious attack conservative judges receive for some of their rulings.

“I fought really hard to get three very, very good people in. They’re great people, very smart people. And I just hope they’re going to be fair because you know, the other side plays the ref,” Trump added.

Legal scholar Jonathan Turley said on Twitter that the Supreme Court’s decision to hear the case on Feb. 8, puts the justices on “a Nascar pace.”

Media reports predicted that the justices would issue a ruling after the Feb. 8 hearing. Republican voters in Colorado determine their nominee on March 5.

The Supreme Court’s decision to hear the case was met with praise from many individuals on Twitter, who predict that the anti-Trump ballot orders will be shut down.

MURDOCK: For Trump to Restore Camelot, He First Must Free His Excalibur

(Deroy Murdock and Joe Diamond, Headline USA) At a recent pro-Hamas demonstration at the Midtown Manhattan headquarters of the unmentionable “Paper of Record,” activists vandalized an NYPD squad car.

Some of the jihadists turned its hood into a pop-up refreshment stand and served tea to their thirsty comrades. Shrieking “Intifada!” for hours evidently wreaks hell on one’s throat.

Young officers looked on, unsure how to respond. It’s no wonder. Since 2020, the fascist far Left has demonized the police and tried to defund them into oblivion.

Yet, these same demoralized cops—and their 800,000 brothers and sisters in blue across this land—are the key to saving America.

As with King Arthur and Excalibur, an extraordinary individual must liberate the sword of law enforcement and wield it effectively against those who would obliterate this constitutional republic.

Last month, a pack of jihadists stormed the White House gates and splattered them with fake blood and red-paint handprints. Whatever one thinks of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue’s current tenant, attacks on the Executive Mansion must be punished.

Like Hamas’s anti-Israel butchery, these outrages are part of the far-Left’s relentless assault on Western civilization.

“To put 300,000 terrorist sympathizers in the streets of Washington on short notice, you need a well-oiled machine,” Washington Times columnist Don Feder observed. “They’re the result of a coalition of radicals united by their hatred of America and the West—a coalition that is willing to condone the most horrific violence to advance the revolution.”

Only a leader with stones of steel—and legions of disciplined, dedicated patriots—can reverse this catastrophe.

Without the presidency, Donald J. Trump is just a private citizen. He made the Bully Pulpit great again, and still preaches effectively, even without it. He also enjoys (as we noted in a previous article) a tight bond with the police.

One of us produces WABC Radio’s Cop Talk program. Joe Diamond has spoken to countless officers who want Trump back in the Oval Office. Likewise, they enthusiastically support his pro public-safety agenda, which includes plans to bolster police departments and toughen punishment for assaulting cops.

“We will restore law and order to our communities,” Trump promised voters in Durham, New Hampshire, on Dec. 16: “I’m going to indemnify, through the federal government, all police officers and law enforcement officials throughout the United States from being destroyed by the radical Left for taking strong actions against crime.”

Police officers have an even larger role to play in America’s salvation. This is where Trump should crank his bully pulpit to full volume.

At every campaign stop—in his typically awe-inspiring fashion—Trump must galvanize every patriotic police officer.

Specifically, he should:

  • Urge cops to take their rightful place in the front ranks of Trump’s movement to rescue America.
  • Remind them that they are America’s domestic boots on the ground and are essential to restoring the rule of law.
  • Assure cops that he has their backs as does no other leader.
  • Explain that America’s fascist far Left is now a tool of global jihad.

This new year will challenge cops in unprecedented ways. Until the election, Trump’s main role will be “encourager in chief.” But he knows that the police will not hesitate to serve the people—even if that means resisting corrupt big-city Democrats who do everything in their power to keep cops from legitimately using theirs.

On Election Day itself, cops can play a pivotal role in keeping the vote free and fair. Much of America’s police force lives near the big cities that they patrol—the same metropolises (such as Atlanta, Detroit, Las Vegas and Philadelphia) where electoral-integrity questions most frequently arise.

The Trump campaign should recruit as many off-duty cops as possible to serve as poll watchers. They know their communities possess a sixth sense for spotting irregularities and anomalies, and are perfectly trained to intervene if violence erupts. There is no better way to show potential vote riggers that the eyes of the law are upon them.

As its 250th birthday approaches, America stands athwart the mother of all crossroads. Either we capitulate to the foreign and domestic forces that are dedicated to burying us, or we crush them.

From Rome onward, history offers cautionary tales that enlighten today’s predicament. Consider this one: In the early 1930s, Germany’s Weimar Republic could have extinguished the evil in its midst.

Alas, its inaction killed the Republic and sealed the doom of some 20 million innocent Europeans and legions of Allies who liberated them. America must avoid the same plight.

President Trump, U.S. law enforcement awaits your clarion call.

Jack Smith Issues Outrageous Court Filing that Trump Will Murder Democrats

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Special counsel Jack Smith recently submitted a filing in a Washington, D.C., appellate court alleging that if charges were dismissed against former President Donald Trump on the basis of presidential immunity, future presidents would use the State of the Union address to rile up their supporters and encourage them “to kill opposing lawmakers.”

The 82-page document said that Trump’s petition to the court arguing that his efforts to challenge the outcome of the 2020 election were part of his job function would set a precedent of the White House allowing wanton political violence, the Post Millenial reported.

“In [Trump’s] view, a court should treat a President’s criminal conduct as immune from prosecution as long as it takes the form of correspondence with a state official about a matter in which there is a federal interest, a meeting with a member of the Executive Branch, or a statement on a matter of public concern,” Smith wrote.

Smith added that operating this way would allow future presidents to engage in all kinds of corruption, as long as it was within the confines of the federal government.

He gave the example of the president possibly instructing the FBI director to plant evidence, or hiring an assassin under a government contract.

“Because in each of these scenarios, the President could assert that he was simply executing the laws; or communicating with the Department of Justice; or discharging his powers as Commander-in-Chief; or engaging in foreign diplomacy,” Smith wrote.

Democrats, who tacitly supported political violence for month ahead of the Jan. 6, 2021, uprising in service of their own political advantage, claiming it was protected “free speech,” have exercised a stunning and brazen lack of self-awareness in their attacks on Trump and his supporters, as well as a possible lack of foresight or disregard for the unintended consequences of their norm-violating actions.

Several conservatives accused Smith of attempting to provoke violence against the former president due to his extreme language and examples.

Some pointed out that this had happened before: Nicholas Roske had plans to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh after the media hyped up the leaked opinion on Roe v. Wade in the summer of 2022.

Another Twitter user posted a video compilation of Leftist talking heads painting Trump as a vicious, vindictive, attempted Nazi dictator and stoke fear in their viewers.

Trump’s case in the district court of far-left D.C. judge Tanya Chutkan is on hold as it goes through the appeals process. The case is currently under review by the Supreme Court, although the high court has yet to say whether it will eventually hear it.

However, arguments for the appeals court are scheduled for Tuesday, according to Smith’s filing.

Top TSA Official Arrested for Allegedly Defrauding Dementia-Stricken Mom

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A high-ranking TSA official was apprehended by Border Patrol officials upon arrival from an international flight over an outstanding arrest warrant out of Florida.

Maxine McManaman, an assistant federal security director at TSA, was met by federal agents at the same Atlanta airport where she worked, following a warrant issued by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

As reported by Fox News, a criminal complaint accused McManaman of participating in a scheme to exploit her dementia-stricken mother by falsifying her signature on a quitclaim deed.

Reportedly, McManaman and her father, Delroy Chambers Sr., forged signatures to claim ownership of their relative’s property.

“She is accused of forging a quitclaim deed, where she had signed a document, basically conveying a property belonging to a family member over to her and her father,” Port St. Lucie authorities said, according to Fox5 Atlanta.

Investigators in Florida caught the duo after realizing that their ailing relative resided in Atlanta, making it nearly impossible for her to sign the documents in Florida

According to court documents, the mother initially granted ownership of the home to her son, Delroy Chambers Jr., in 2010. Subsequently, she began suffering from dementia.

Following the health issues, the TSA official and her father allegedly abused her mother by forging documents, including one attempting to transfer a $321,000 property away from Chambers Jr.

A LinkedIn page seemingly tied to McManaman indicated her employment at TSA for over 21 years, initially starting as an “assistant federal security director screening.”

According to Fox5 Atlanta, the woman is being held in Clayton County Jail in Georgia since Dec. 28 but will be transferred to Florida later.

Her arrest occurred after returning from a trip to Jamaica.

In response to the allegations, the TSA placed McManaman on leave. “TSA holds its employees to the highest professional and ethical standards and has no tolerance for misconduct on or off duty,” a TSA spokesperson told Fox5 Atlanta.

The spokesperson added, “Any employee who fails to meet our fundamental ethical standards is held accountable.”
