(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden’s efforts to garner support from black voters ahead of the 2024 election seem to have fallen short with two influential rappers, both suggesting that former President Donald Trump might offer solutions to the challenges facing black Americans.
Hip-hop legend 50 Cent and rapper Killer Mike criticized the Democratic Party for its perceived failure to address crucial issues such as border security and criminal justice reform.
In response to New York City Mayor Eric Adams approving a $53 million pilot program involving pre-paid credit cards for illegal immigrants, 50 Cent expressed his discontent in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“WTF mayor Adams call my phone, I don’t understand how this works ️somebody explain,” 50 Center said, also sharing a photo of a New York Post report on the program. “Can’t explain this I’m stuck maybe TRUMP is the answer.”
🚨50 Cent in response to New York announcing the launch of a $53 million program to hand out pre-paid credit cards for illegal immigrants:
According to the NY Post, the controversial plan would benefit 500 families staying in taxpayer-funded hotels. However, the initiative faced criticism as Adams expressed concerns about the city’s inability to handle additional expenses related to illegal immigration.
Killer Mike, who gained popularity in the early 2000s, appeared on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, where he declined to endorse Biden’s re-election bid.
Known for his activism on criminal justice reform, Killer Mike emphasized the importance of focusing on policies rather than personalities. When Maher inquired about his thoughts on the upcoming election, Killer Mike responded, “My feeling is: pick your policy, not your person.”
He continued, “This is not the Dallas Cowboys versus your favorite team. This is the policy that would affect our generations for the next 30, 40, 50 years to come. So, close your eyes, listen to the policies that are being pushed and pay attention even to the people who don’t have a chance of winning because they’re going to say policies you may want push.”
Bill Maher begs Killer Mike to endorse Joe Biden over Trump, and Killer Mike refuses 🤣

The remarks from these hip-hop icons coincide with the anticipation of a potential face-off between Biden and Trump in 2024. Despite facing several criminal indictments, Trump leads in several polls, while Biden grapples with low approval ratings, particularly among black voters.
(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas, strongly criticized her own party for its failure to safeguard the southern border and enact immigration laws during their House majority in 2021.
In a candid interview with Politico, Escobar did not mince words in reproaching what she deemed a “strategic mistake on the part of” the Democratic Party and President Joe Biden, emphasizing how immigration has become a top priority ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
The Democratic lawmaker pointed to an immigration bill proposed by Biden in 2021. However, Democrats, much like the immigration reforms proposed by former President Donald Trump, failed to act.
“When the president gave us that bill, House Democrats were in the majority, and we did not get that bill across the goal line,” Escobar told Politico. “This is where a lot of my own frustration comes from. We had the power to pass that bill. We had the majority and we didn’t do it. So here we have a Democratic president that needs Congress to do its job and we failed.”
Escobar expressed her desire for Biden to have “leaned” on immigration early on, implying that the Democrat president waited too long to prioritize the border.
“It’s what I advocated for when we were in the majority,” she continued, referring to the Democratic majority from 2020 through 2022. “We should lean in and we should explain to the American people how difficult this is and how multifaceted the solution has to be.”
She added, “It will take years of public policy and appropriations to get to a point where things are more manageable, but nobody wanted to talk about it. And I think that was a strategic mistake on the part of my party and that includes everybody.”
Escobar acknowledged the growing anger fueled by the unprecedented number of illegal aliens crossing the border. Several Democratic mayors and governors have joined the ranks of critics.
“The political environment is rapidly shifting,” she warned. “And I now hear many Democrats using similar terms that Republicans have used to describe immigration about closing the border. And that includes the president.”
Escobar’s criticism comes as Biden urges the Senate to pass a bipartisan border bill. House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., however, declared that House Republicans would not support any bill that does not exclusively focus on deportation and border security.
A version of the border deal leaked online, allegedly including contentious measures like increasing green cards and visas for illegal aliens
Sens. James Lankford, R-Okla.; Kyrsten Sinema, I-Ariz.; and Chris Murphy, D-Ct., are currently negotiating the bill. The actual text of the bill remains undisclosed.
(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A recently released video has captured the Texas National Guard rescuing what appeared to be a woman and a child attempting to cross the Rio Grande. This contradicts claims from some Democrats that the state guards are not aiding in the rescue of in-need illegal aliens.
The video, captured by Rep. Keith Self, R-Texas, shows a johnboat carrying the woman, a child and two state guards bringing the mother to the shore in Shelby Park of Eagle Pass, Texas.

“My team and I witnessed firsthand the Texas National Guard rescuing a woman and her child from the Rio Grande,” Self declared on Twitter. He was at the southern border to survey the section seized by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
A guard is seen taking the child off the boat and handing her to a female guard. Two other guards assist the visibly distraught adult woman, whose clothes appear soaking wet, and she seems to be limping.
The video directly contradicts claims by some Democrats who falsely implied that a mother and her two children died because Abbott blocked the Biden administration’s access to some parts of the southern border. Texas restricted access, implying the federal government is just facilitating unauthorized border crossings rather than deterring them.
Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, was one of the leading Democrats blaming Abbott for the death of the mother and her two children.
“Border Patrol personnel were forced out of Shelby Park earlier this week by the Texas National Guard under order of Governor Abbott,” Cuellar claimed in a press statement..
“In this situation, the Texas Military Department and the Texas National Guard did not grant access to Border Patrol agents to save the migrants. This is a tragedy, and the State bears responsibility,” Cuellar added.
However, the federal government itself told the Supreme Court in a lawsuit over control of the border that deaths had already occurred when it requested access to the part of the border.
“It is impossible to say what might have happened if Border Patrol had had its former access to the area – including through its surveillance trucks that assisted in monitoring the area,” U.S. Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar wrote in the Supreme Court filing.
The Texas Military Department promptly dispelled Cuellar’s claims. “At no time did TMD security personnel along the river observe any distressed migrants, nor did TMD turn back any illegal immigrants from the US during this period,” the statement said.
“Also, at no point was TMD made aware of any bodies in the area of Shelby Park, nor was TMD made aware of any bodies being discovered on the U.S. side of the border regarding this situation,” the statement continued.
(Ken Silva, Headline USA) About two weeks ago, a video went viral of a Tennessee man shooting his girlfriend’s son at point-blank range. The son, Kyle Spitze, survived, while the boyfriend committed suicide after a standoff with police.
That bizarre story, which occurred in August but only went viral recently, just took a deeply disturbing twist.
On Sunday, Spitze’s mother, Melanie Spitze, was found dead in a hotel room—as first reported on Twitter by the online researcher “Bx.”
Headline USA reviewed the graphic video described in Bx’s tweet, and it indeed shows a woman prone on the floor, hair covering her face, with blood-soaked sheets on the bed nearby.
“I just woke up and there’s blood everywhere, and mom won’t breathe, and I’m fucking scared. Mom … Mom, please wake up, please,” Kyle can be heard saying in the video, which Headline USA isn’t sharing out of respect for Melanie. “This is so traumatizing.”
Later, Kyle can be heard giving his social security number to a law enforcement officer. That social security number matches the number for Kyle on a doxing website—which indicates that it’s really him in the video. The arm seen in the video also has the same bracelet Kyle wears in other photos.
Involvement in a Sadistic Satanic Cult
But now Kyle’s biological father has confirmed the online rumors that his son was in the Satanic cult “764,” which is an offshoot of the Order of the Nine Angles, or O9A—a neo-Nazi accelerationist group involved in multiple terrorist plots.
According to the Justice Department and others, O9A has a terroristic goal in mind: to corrupt the youth, which will accelerate the collapse of Western society.
The 764 cult “represents a radical shift in the group to specifically target children and use [child porn] and videos depicting animal cruelty, self-harm, and other acts of violence to accelerate chaos in society,” the DOJ said in recent court filings.
Spitze’s father, Michael Spitze, told Headline USA that his son spiraled into Satanic cults about six years ago, when he and the now-deceased Melanie were getting separated. Spitze said his son, who was 18 at the time, was groomed by a woman named “Tara,” who was nearly 20 years his senior.
“He was just turning 18, and that woman convinced him to move to Washington state. and she groomed him and taught him how to do all that stuff online,” the father said. “I hate her.”
Mr. Spitze stated emphatically that he believes his son Kyle’s involvement with Satanic cults is entirely unrelated to his mother’s death.
“My wife’s death has nothing to do with Kyle’s indiscretions over the past how many years in this 764 club shit,” he said.
Michael told this publication that he believes Kyle’s mother died of a heroin overdose. He dispelled nasty rumors on message boards that his cultist son was somehow responsible or otherwise involved in the tragedy.
From Kyle’s video footage, there aren’t any visible marks on Melanie’s body, and what appears to be a Narcan inhaler—used to reverse opioid overdoes—can be seen near her left hand. As for the bloody sheets, the father said Melanie had serious liver cirrhosis, and that she vomited the blood.
Screenshot from a video of what appears to be Kyle Spitze’s mother with a Narcan inhaler near her hand.
And while the Knoxville Police Department said Friday that the death is still an open investigation—pending the outcome of the autopsy and examination being conducted by the Knox County Regional Forensic Center—Kyle’s father stated that the autopsy report shows that the death was an overdose. Though he declined to provide any documentation, Michael said it’s only a matter of time before law enforcement makes an announcement.
“They’re still going over the autopsy report. The only thing I was told by the detective was they didn’t find any visible marks on her body,” he said. “The autopsy has already been conducted, her body’s been transferred to the funeral home, and she’s being prepared.”
Michael did refer to his wife as being murdered.
“Kyle has some issues, and he posts things he stupidly should not when he’s in drug-induced stupors. But no, Kyle did not have anything to do with his mother’s murder. If he did, he’d be in jail by now,” said Michael, who purported to be a government contractor with a secret security clearance (Melanie was also an administrative assistant for Lockheed Martin until 2016, he said).
Later, when Headline USA called Michael to ask a follow-up question about why he used the term “murder,” Michael became agitated and hung up the phone.
In a follow-up text message, he explained: “You completely misunderstand me. People online were saying he murdered his mom and I [said] no he didn’t.”
The father also vigorously denied the allegations about Kyle’s 764-related activities.
“Yes, Kyle’s been involved with these idiots online for a number of years. Never has Kyle actually done anything with these idiots. I don’t know why he’d aspire to be like them—maybe because he thinks hacking is the coolest thing in the world,” Michael said.
“But no, my son is not a pedophile. He just may be associated with some fucked up people, but he’s definitely not involved in those activities.”
When presented with evidence that a girl allegedly cut herself and painted, “I’m so sorry Kyle,” along with “764” and occult iconography in blood on a wall—Michael denied that his son had anything to do with that.
Screenshots from a 764 chatroom provided to Headline USA
“No proof, I don’t see him in any pictures,” Michael said in one text, before following up with: “He’s been in the hospital for 3 days with no access to his electronics, phone etc. [Y]et somehow someone posted, impersonating him yesterday. He’s being blackmailed and blamed for things that he didn’t do and hasn’t done.”
Later, Michael texted again: “He may not be totally innocent but someone is deliberately trying to do this and pretend they are him.”
Michael reiterated: “Kyle did not have any hand in the death of my wife. That has been legally proven, or the police would have had him in custody a long time ago if they did their investigation.”
Interrelated 764 and O9A Cults Have Bloody, Abusive History
The 764 cult became widely known last September, when the FBI issued a bulletin warning parents that the group is “deliberately targeting minor victims on publicly available messaging platforms to extort them into recording or livestreaming acts of self-harm and producing child sexual abuse material.”
The FBI reportedly discovered 764 while investigating social media posts from Angel Almeida, a 23-year-old arrested in November 2021 on gun charges.
According to recently unsealed records from that case, an anonymous tip led the FBI to the Satanic cult. The tipster allegedly wrote to the FBI in October 2021 that Almeida sent child pornography to a minor.
“He consistently posts animal abuse material and has even posted images of himself having abused an animal by chopping it in half. He is extremely dangerous. He openly admits what he wants to do to children, posts his drug use online, and even posts child abuse material,” the tipster told the FBI.
After receiving that information, the FBI, which claims to not know the identity of the anonymous tipster, began looking at Almeida’s publicly available social media, according to search warrants. Agents found photos of him posing with a black O9A flag in the background.
“Members and associates of O9A have espoused violent, neo-Nazi, anti-Semitic, and Satanic beliefs, and have expressed admiration for figures such as Adolf Hitler and Usama Bin Laden,” FBI agent Sean Johnson said in his search warrant application. “Members and associates of O9A have also participated in acts of violence, including murders.”
Other pictures on Almeida’s social media accounts included one of a bloody cat that had apparently been stabbed with a knife, as well as one of an individual standing in front of a Nazi flag with a shirt reading “Kiddie Fiddler” in front of a sign that reads, “I’M ADDICTED TO HARDCORE CHILD PORNOGRAPHY.”
FBI Investigating 764 & 09A Cult Activities
Additionally, the search warrant applications disclosed that an undercover FBI employee gathered evidence on Almeida.
More recently, the Justice Department filed charges in December against another 764 member, Kalana Limkin, for allegedly promoting child pornography, sexual extortion, and trafficking, animal cruelty and self-harm of minors.
The details of Limkin’s alleged activities are as horrendous, if not more so, than those in the Almeida case. According to the DOJ, Limkin would find minors online and extort them into posting nude pictures or violent actions—or sometimes both.
With one victim, Limkin allegedly shared his screen and showed her child pornography of a 5-year-old girl being raped.
An FBI affidavit said the bureau launched an investigation into Limkin last May, and then interviewed one of his victims a month later.
It took another six months for the FBI to finally arrest him in Hawaii. Agents did so in December, and he allegedly admitted to possessing child porn and being involved in 764 and the O9A.
Only a portion of the FBI affidavit—which was signed by an agent of the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division assigned to an FBI joint terrorism task force—has been released. The FBI said it wants the remainder to be sealed due to an ongoing investigation.
FBI Informant Holds Top 09A Cult Leadership Role
As Headline USA has reported, O9A has some intriguing connections to U.S. security agencies. Its founder was purportedly a member of a CIA-sponsored militia in the United Kingdom during the Cold War, and its U.S. leader, Josh Sutter, is a longtime FBI informant.
There are even suggestions that O9A may have been involved in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill uprising.
Jade Parker, a security-clearance-holding counterterrorism analyst who has done some of the groundbreaking work on O9A, claimed in 2022 to have identified the Jan. 6 pipe bomber—only to disappear from the internet soon thereafter. Parker suggested that O9A accelerationists exploited the Jan. 6 crowd on her July 2021 appearance on the popular national security podcast, The Team House, though she didn’t provide specifics.
EXCLUSIVE: In 2022, a counterterrorism expert and former military intelligence contractor claimed to have identified the Jan 6 pipe bomber and their associated network. And then, a short while later, she vanished.
Headline USA Source Threatened by 764 Cult Members
Meanwhile, Headline USA has learned that Bx—the source who initially reported Melanie’s death and Kyle’s connections to 764—is being threatened by 764 members. This reporter reviewed some of those death and rape threats, and spoke to Bx about the matter.
Bx, whose identity is being withheld for obvious reasons, said she’s in touch with law enforcement.
In addition to that, Scarborough accused Trump of being a rapist, referring to the E. Jean Carroll case, despite that the New York trial acknowledged that Trump was not a rapist, according to Breitbart.
The biased New York jury did, however, conclude that, despite the lack of evidence, Trump had sexually assaulted the woman.
“Younger boys see their parents praising, idolizing a man who has been found guilty or found liable of sexually abusing a woman, of defaming a woman that a judge said he raped, a guy that’s bragged about sexual assault on the ‘Access Hollywood’ tape, a guy that does illegal payoffs to porn stars at the height of the campaign and then insults her as a horse face, a guy who regularly trashes women, attacks them,” Scarborough said.
Among the women who have faced Trump’s attacks is Scarborough’s current wife and co-host, Mika Brzezinski. In 2017, the then-president recalled a meeting with Brzezinski—the daughter of Jimmy Carter’s national security adviser—during which Trump recalled that she was “bleeding badly from a face-lift,” the New York Times reported.
Scarborough continued bashing Trump while using the Bible for his argument, even though his leftist politics completely contradict the teaching of The Book.
“That’s what these families who are idolizing Donald Trump — and it’s straight out of Jeremiah and worshipping idols, they become worthless,” Scarborough said.
“They do that and they try to justify it on some like grievance,” he added. “They don’t even see in their own households their children seeing them, a mother and father who claim to be children of God, who are worshipping, praising and idolizing a rapist.”
Scarborough then talked about how this made-up behavior negatively affects young men.
“The whole thing is too much. I mean, it is what it is. It’s sad, it’s pathetic and it’s having an impact,” he said.
“We’re not just talking about the church,” he continued. “We’re talking about an impact on young men and the examples that they’re seeing in their household of a guy who, again, brags about sexually assaulting women, a guy who a judge has said raped a woman. It’s having an impact and it will have an impact for years to come, sadly.”
However, it seems that Scarborough thinks that only he is allowed to tell things that either may not be true or are false about other people, since he didn’t like how Trump previously accused him of murdering his intern, Lori Klausutis, back in 2001 when Scarborough was a congressman.
A blow to her head? Body found under his desk? Left Congress suddenly? Big topic of discussion in Florida…and, he’s a Nut Job (with bad ratings). Keep digging, use forensic geniuses! https://t.co/UxbS5gZecd
When will they open a Cold Case on the Psycho Joe Scarborough matter in Florida. Did he get away with murder? Some people think so. Why did he leave Congress so quietly and quickly? Isn’t it obvious? What’s happening now? A total nut job!
(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A BBC staffer received pushback for her Facebook posts, in which she referred to Jewish people as “Nazi apartheid parasites” and called white people a “virus.”
Dawn Queva, senior scheduling coordinator and playout planner at BBC Three, made many of the anti-Jewish and anti-white posts that were deleted since then over the last few months, according to the New York Post.
In one of her rants, Queva called Jewish people “Nazi apartheid parasites” and accused them of funding a “holohoax,” obviously implying that Holocaust never happened but was rather created by Jews.
In her other post, Queva criticized Israel, calling Israelis “a bunch of subcontinental European melanin recessive CaucAsian japhetic AshkeNazi who have no None zero zilch blood connection to the land of Palestine or Israel historically.”
It was also revealed that she wasn’t spewing her hateful rhetoric toward Jews only recently since some of her posts go back nearly a decade. Back in 2014, she branded Israel as “Israhell.”
“The Zionist genocidal land squatting so-called Jew’ irrespective of the fact that The UKKK and Amerikkka gave away land they had no god-given right to a people who have no god-given right to,” Queva wrote.
In addition to hating Jewish people, she also expressed her hatred toward white people as well, calling them a “virus” and a “mutant invader species.”
Queva also called white people a “barbaric bloodthirsty rapacious murderous genocidal thieving parasitical deviant breed.”
Facebook either removed or restricted several of her posts, the Post reported.
Instead of apologizing for her hateful rhetoric, Queva only doubled down by criticizing the action and calling it “anti-black klu klux klan white/Zionist restrictions.”
In addition to that, she updated her Facebook wall with a video from the 1987 movie “The Garbage Pail Kids” alongside a caption that read “Only those who live a lie hate the truth!” as well as shared an infographic that supposedly listed Jewish slave ship owners and a photo of Gordon, an escaped slave with a heinously scarred back due to years of abuse.
(Headline USA) Republicans are challenging extended mail ballot deadlines in a legal maneuver that could have widespread implications for mail voting before the presidential election in November.
The Republican National Committee, the Mississippi Republican Party, a member of the state Republican Executive Committee and an election commissioner in one county filed its lawsuit against Secretary of State Michael Watson, himself a Republican, and six local election officials.
The suit challenges a Mississippi law that says absentee ballots in presidential elections will be counted if they are postmarked by Election Day and received within five days. It argues that Mississippi improperly extends the federal election beyond the election date set by Congress and that, as a result, “timely, valid ballots are diluted by untimely, invalid ballots.”
“Federal law is very clear—Election Day is the Tuesday after the first Monday in November,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement announcing the lawsuit. “However, some states accept and count ballots days and days after Election Day, and we believe that practice is wrong.”
RNC spokesperson Gates McGavick said the group hopes for a ruling before the presidential election that state deadlines allowing ballots to be received after Election Day violate federal law.
“This case could have major ramifications in future elections—not just in Mississippi but across the country,” he said.
Leftist anti-integrity activists are panicked about the potential impact beyond those two states if a judge rules that deadlines for receiving mailed ballots that stretch past Election Day, Nov. 5, violate federal law.
They say it’s possible such a decision would lead to a nationwide injunction.
“This effort risks disenfranchising Mississippi voters, but we don’t want that to also be precedent for other states,” Abhi Rahman, communications director of the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, said in response to the most recent lawsuit.
Leftists frequently use the “voting access” trope to justify rules that interfere with election integrity, such as potentially allowing illegitimate ballots after the Election Day results have been tallied in order to reverse the outcome of an unfavorable election.
Apart from trying to justify a reversal of the outcome, it is unclear why Democrats could not simply encourage voters to vote in person on Election Day or else arrange to have their mail-in ballots sent prior to the deadline.
Mississippi and North Dakota are among 19 states that accept late-arriving mailed ballots as long as the ballots are postmarked on or before Election Day, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.
That includes political swing states such as Nevada and North Carolina, both of which are currently poised to go red in the election based on polling. Some states, including Colorado, Oregon and Utah, rely heavily on mail voting.
Former President Donald Trump has long railed against the use of mail voting, in particular when many states illegally expanded its use during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, using dubious emergency orders to circumvent their own state legislatures and constitutions.
Several Republican-controlled states have since moved to tighten rules around mail voting in an effort to close the loopholes that threatened to further undermine election integrity.
The Democratic National Committee said it was watching the cases closely and will fight any attempt to strengthen election integrity that could cost it votes.
Democratic state Rep. Bryant Clark called the Mississippi lawsuit “another effort to try to stifle votes and stop the votes of a certain segment of the population.” He said the suit may also lead to similar efforts across the country.
In North Dakota, a similar federal lawsuit against the state election director was filed by the conservative Public Interest Legal Foundation on behalf of a county auditor, Mark Splonskowski, who cited what he said was a conflict between state and federal law.
That lawsuit was dismissed Friday by Republican Judge Daniel Traynor,
“Splonskowski’s oath does not require him to uphold the United States Constitution, Traynor wrote in his decision.
“It simply requires him to perform his duties as a North Dakota election official to the best of his ability,” the judge added. “Splonskowski is also not conflicted by the controversy he posits in this lawsuit.”
Richard L. Hasen, a law professor at the far-left University of California, Los Angeles, criticized the legal basis of the lawsuits. In the Mississippi case, he claimed the RNC was to trying to gain a political advantage because it “believes late-arriving mail ballots are more likely to favor Democrats.”
Tthe 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which includes Mississippi, has historically been quite conservative “and not protective of voting rights,” he claimed.
“It would be a far reach for a challenge to Mississippi law to lead to a national injunction against this,” he said. “But it’s possible.”
(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A group in New York aiming to unseat Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., in the upcoming 2024 election has unveiled a strategic plan: urging Republicans and Independents to register as Democrats for the June 25 primary.
According to the New York Post, the pro-Israel coalition Westchester Unites opposes Bowman’s re-election due to his critique of Israeli military operations in the Hamas-governed Gaza Strip. The coalition has initiated a comfortable six-figure mobilization effort, including mailers, as reported by the NY Post.
“Anti-semitism is on the ballot and we need a member of Congress who will stand up for our Jewish community,” reads a Westchester Unites mailer, as quoted by the New York Post. “Send a message that our community stands together.”
While the mailers do not explicitly name Bowman or his primary challenger George Latimer, the NY Post implied that the challenges are directed against Bowman.
Latimer is seeking the Democratic nomination and advocates for a pro-Israel platform. He has previously launched strong criticisms against the “Squad” member’s remarks regarding Israel.
Bowman faced criticism in November 2023 for stating that supporting a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, following the latter’s terror attack on Oct. 7, is “what it actually means to be Jewish.”
In addition to facing criticism for his stance on Israel, Bowman drew scorching criticism for triggering a fire alarm, which critics said was an attempt to illegally obstruct a stop-gap bill. Ultimately, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and faced a House censure.
New security camera footage is released of Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) pulling fire alarm
Non-Democratic voters have until Feb. 14 to switch their party registration to participate in the primary, scheduled for June 25. The eventual nominee is likely to win the Nov. 5 general election, given that the district is a safe Democratic stronghold.
“If you are an independent or enrolled with another party, it is crucial you change your enrollment to be able to vote in the Democratic primary,” the mailer continued.
The NY Post identified Teach Action as Westchester Unites’ parent company. Tech Action Fund Political Director Dan Mitzner stated the plan aims at empowering voter education during what he described as a “critical time,” referring to anti-Semitism.
“The reality is that with an alarming rise in antisemitic rhetoric and incidents, our Jewish community here at home is under threat,” Mitzner said, as reported by the NY Post. “It’s essential that the next person we elect to Congress cares about the safety and well-being of the Jewish community and all our neighbors.”
(Ken Silva, Headline USA) In a case that illustrates the importance of purchasing precious metals through an accredited dealer, a North Carolina man was arrested this week for selling phony rhodium, as well as scamming someone out of $210,000 of the same.
According to the FBI’s criminal complaint, the alleged scammer, Durham resident Brian Combs, committed wire fraud against at least three unnamed victims.
With the first victim, Combs allegedly agreed to trade a rare Mickey Mantle baseball card for seven ounces of rhodium valued at $210,000. On April 14, 2021, Combs told the victim that he had mailed the baseball card, providing the victim with a phony tracking number.
“As further agreed between the parties, Victim-1 … shipped by USPS next-day delivery the rhodium to Combs,” the FBI’s complaint said. “Victim-1 never received the baseball card.”
About a month later, Combs then scammed a second victim out of $87,000 by selling “a rare and valuable bottle of Macallan Red Collection whiskey,” which he never delivered.
Then, in June 2022, Combs agreed to sell his third victim 70 grams of Rhodium valued at $9,702.
“Combs falsely represented to Victim-3 that the rhodium he advertised for sale was 99.9% pure,” the FBI’s complaint said.
“Upon receipt of the item purporting to be the 99.9% pure rhodium, Victim-3 submitted the item to a precious metal dealer for testing. The results of that testing indicated that the item Combs had sent Victim-3 … was instead chromium and magnesium, metals of significantly lesser value than the rare precious metal rhodium, and not the item that Combs had represented he would be delivering to Victim-3 in exchange for the $9,702.88.”
According to the FBI’s complaint, Victim-3 told Combs about the situation. Combs promised to send more rhodium, but delivered the victim an empty package instead.
Combs allegedly promised yet again to deliver the rhodium, but never did.
“After further complaints from Victim-3, Combs agreed to refund Victim-3 the amount of $9,702.88. However, Combs purposely never refunded Victim-3 any money paid for the rhodium,” the FBI complaint added.
A preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled for Combs.
Wire fraud carries a penalty of up to 20 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Even though 27 states and Washington D.C. banned “conversion therapy” for minors because they “increase” the risk of suicide, it was recently revealed that not only is this not the case but the treatment decreases the risk of suicide or thoughts of suicide among the LGBT people.
“What we’re left with is a situation where we’re being fed a lie that somehow attempting to change sexual orientation is going to fail all the time and it’s going to cause harm, and the truth is just the opposite,” Father Paul Sullins, a Roman Catholic priest, senior research associate at The Ruth Institute and former sociology professor at Catholic University, said.
Sullins analyzed the data from a study that was conducted in 2020 by University of Southern California health researcher John Blosnich, who used the data that was collected by the Gallup Organization.
Gallup concluded that “conversion therapies” are harmful to LGBT people because they are having suicidal thoughts. Based on that, calls for banning the therapies were moved forward.
However, it appears that the researchers never bothered to highlight the fact that LGBT people were having suicidal thoughts before they started going through therapy.
“So I published a firm rebuttal to that study finding not only that did [‘the conversion therapy’] not increase suicidal behavior, it decreased it,” Sullins said.
As expected, leftist professors and researchers criticized the study’s findings and tried to silence Sullins.
“Even if my study was true, they claimed it was unethical to publish it because it implied that somehow people needed to be fixed, and it would impede the cause of gay rights. In a way, I find it an encouragement and a compliment when a study of mine is being suppressed. Because if they had an argument against what I was publishing, if they found a flaw in it, they would make that note,” he said.
Sullins also talked about how a venue canceled a presentation on his research.
“When they canceled like that, it says to me that they don’t really have an argument on the other side. They want to control us by censorship and by controlling the way that we think. Well, as an American, I don’t take well to that kind of control,” he said.
