BREAKING: Biden Apologizes to ‘Illegal’ Alien Behind Laken Riley’s Murder

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden issued a mea culpa on Saturday after using the term “illegal” in reference to the Venezuelan national accused of brutally murdering Laken Riley, a beloved Georgia nursing student.

During an interview on MSNBC Reports, Biden expressed regret for using what Democrats have criticized as an offensive term about individuals residing in the country… illegally.

“I shouldn’t have used illegal, it’s undocumented,” Biden conceded in the interview, referring to his State of the Union address where he attempted to mention Riley’s name.

On Thursday, while mistakenly uttering Riley’s name as “Lincoln, Lincoln Riley,” Biden exclaimed: “An innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal.” His remarks followed heckling by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green, R-Ga.

The described “illegal” in Biden’s speech is Jose Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuelan national currently in federal custody after targeting Riley in a random attack. Ibarra brutally murdered Riley as she fought for her life.

Detailing the disturbing acts Ibarra committed against Riley, prosecutors said that he disfigured the nursing student’s skull by throwing an unknown object at her. He now faces charges of concealing the death of another, false imprisonment, felony murder, malice murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery.

Despite the charges, many Democrats were offended by Biden’s use of the term ‘illegal’ to describe the Venezuelan man. The president appeared to backtrack, yielding to left-wing pressure.

“As a proud immigrant, I’m extremely disappointed to hear President Biden use the word ‘illegal,’” wrote Rep. Chuy Garcia, D-Ill., on Twitter. Echoing Garcia’s remarks, embattled Rep. Ilhan Omar said: “Let me be clear: No human being is illegal.”

Not to be outdone by her colleagues, Rep. Delia Ramirez, D-Ill, slammed Biden for deploying “dehumanizing” language against a man who reportedly subjected Riley to inhumane acts.

Even former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi weighed in on the matter, claiming that Democrats usually refer to illegal aliens as “undocumented.

NYFD Unleashes Probe Into Pro-Trump Firefighters’ Heckling of AG James

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The New York City Fire Department has initiated an investigation into the group of pro-Donald Trump firefighters who ridiculed Attorney General Letitia James during a Thursday ceremony, leaked internal memos showed.

According to journalist Leeroy Johnson, as disclosed on the “Viral News NYC” Twitter page, an internal NYFD memo is urging protesting firefighters to step forward voluntarily or risk identification through available footage.

The memo suggests that those responsible for the heckling may face enrollment in “education” camps to address their behavior. The investigation is led by the Bureau of Investigations and Trials, an internal investigative body of the NYFD.

The alleged investigation follows an incident in which James was disrupted by firefighters shouting “Trump! Trump! Trump!” as she attempted to deliver a speech at a ceremony honoring recently promoted firefighters.

In an effort to regain control, James responded, “Oh, c’mon, we’re in a house of God. Simmer down. Thank you for getting it out of your system.”

The leaked memo dubs the firefighters’ conduct as “grossly inappropriate,” emphasizing their right to protest but not while on duty.

“Our actions at the promotion damaged the relationship with the attorney general and the Christian Cultural Center,” the memo read, hailing James as a “friend” to the firefighter’s union and a supporter of the fire department.

The memo contends, “These actions reflected very poorly upon us and diminished the dignity of the occasion. … Instead of news reports talking about the accomplishments of our members, it talked about the politics and our poor behavior.”

Reportedly, news of the investigation prompted the Uniformed Fire Officers Association (UFOA) to issue a memo advising targeted individuals to seek legal representation if notified of impending consequences.

“The UFOA has become aware of the Department’s response to Wednesday’s promotion ceremony,” the UFOA said in a statement to its members. “Beginning today, deputy chiefs will visit reach company in attendance to discuss the events and offer members the opportunity to come forward.”

The union concluded: “Should any member feel they are subject to an investigation due to the nature of specific questions, they should immediately notify the UFOA and request representation. Any additional inquiries should not continue until a UFOA representative is present.”

Headline USA contacted the firefighters’ union on Saturday, but a receptionist was unable to provide information, as union members do not work on weekends. Headline USA’s calls to the NYFD and BITS went unanswered.

James, a Democrat, has been in the spotlight following a contentious civil lawsuit against the Trump Organization.

First elected in 2019, James pledged to prosecute Trump and his family during her campaign. Once in office, she accused Trump of illegally inflating his wealth to secure generous loans among other perks. Manhattan Judge Arthur Engoron sided with James, ordering Trump to pay over $450 million in fines, a sum that continues to grow until fully paid.

MURDOCK: Dems Distract from Open Border by Making ‘Illegal’ a Thoughtcrime

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) According to the embargoed version of Thursday’s State of the Union address which journalists previewed, President Joe Biden planned to stay silent about the late Laken Riley, the 22-year-old Georgia nursing student who was murdered while she jogged on Feb. 22, allegedly by Venezuelan illegal alien Jose Antonio Ibarra, 26.

He broke into America in September 2022, under Biden.

Bleeding-heart Democrat prosecutors in New York City and Athens, Georgia, liberated Ibarra after police arrested him for less serious crimes. Before long, police say, he fatally crushed Riley’s skull.

But when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., taunted Biden to “Say her name!” he brandished a pin that according to videos, Greene had given him before the speech.

Mangling it anyway, Biden declared that “Lincoln” Riley “was killed by an illegal.”

Rather than express outrage that federal and local Democrats failed Riley and let someone with no right to be here kill her, House Democrats exploded over what they consider the real atrocity: Biden having used the word “illegal.”

House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi of California told CNN about Biden: “He should’ve said, ‘undocumented.’” Never mind that illegal aliens often carry foreign identity documents and/or U.S. drivers licenses and other records. Millions of these documented “undocumented” occupy America.

Rep. Chuy Garcia, D-Ill., tweeted: “As a proud immigrant, I’m extremely disappointed to hear President Biden use the word ‘illegal.’”

“Biden’s remark about immigrants was ugly and uncalled for,” tweeted Rep. Julian Castro. “He’s piling on to Trump’s dangerous rhetoric.”

Update: On Saturday, former President Donald J. Trump met with and comforted Riley’s devastated family in Greene’s hometown of Rome, Ga. “We share your grief,” Trump said.

Meanwhile, that day, Biden apologized for how he described Riley’s alleged murderer.  “I shouldn’t have used illegal,” Biden told MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart. “It’s undocumented.”

Capehart asked: “So, you regret using that word?”

“Yes,” Biden replied.

But Biden’s use of “illegal” was as rare among Democrats as their linguistic whitewashing of illegal aliens is ubiquitous.

The White House recently triggered backlash by calling illegals “newcomers.”

Democrats use the euphemism “migrants” to normalize people who do not belong here. “Migrants” sound like lost tourists who merit open doors, soup and blankets.

The Left also likes “asylum seekers,” even though, under Biden, some 1.7 million known gotaways zoomed past Border Patrol without claiming asylum. Exhausted, beleaguered agents wave others through, with little talk of asylum. “Come on in” the message goes. “Enjoy America!”

Mayor Eric Adams, D-N.Y., the $53 Million Dollar Man, disgustingly calls illegal aliens “our newest Americans.”

If a dozen people broke into his house and demanded dinner, would he call them “The newest members of the Adams family?”

This is all typical left-wing wordplay. When “food stamps” became unpopular, the Left rebranded them as “SNAP” for Special Nutritional Assistance Program. SNAP? Sounds fun!

“Child sexual mutilation” sounds nasty. So, the Left peddles spa-like “gender-affirming care.”

Normal people justifiably hate pedophiles. So, the Left now champions “Minor-Attracted Persons” or MAPS.

Yay! Let’s give SNAP to MAPS!

Meanwhile, hard-Left House Democrats Cori Bush of Missouri, Sylvia Garcia of Texas, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, and others lectured Biden: “No human is illegal.”

These—ahem—lawmakers know better.

The U.S. Code cites “illegal aliens” at least a dozen times in an excellent database maintained by Cornell Law School’s Legal Information Institute.

These include statutes governing “illegal aliens incarcerated in Federal and State prisons” and “illegal aliens convicted of felonies in any Federal or State court” (8 U.S. Code § 1366) as well as “eligibility of illegal aliens for State and local public benefits” (8 U.S. Code § 1621).

So, according to federal law, these people are “illegal aliens.” In fact, some humans are illegal.

Americans should use the phrase “illegal aliens” until all of them are deported, and no others invade this republic.

The Left frets that “illegal alien” might discomfort these lawbreakers.

Too bad.

Better yet, good.

Every illegal alien’s first act in America was to break U.S. Code 8 § 1325—Improper Entry by Alien. Violating America’s borders is invasion. Period.

Legal immigrants deserve the care, support, and affection of every American. May they all thrive here in peace and prosperity.

But the comfort of illegal aliens should be the very least of this country’s concerns.

Ex-Google Engineer Arrested for Stealing AI Trade Secrets for China

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A former Google software engineer was indicted for stealing AI-related trade secrets while working for Chinese competitors seeking to gain an edge in the technological race.

A federal grand jury in San Francisco charged Linwei Ding with four counts of trade secret theft, each punishable by up to 10 years in prison, according to the Epoch Times. Ding was arrested on March 6, 2024, in Newark, Calif., where he had been living before his arrest.

Between May 2022 and May 2023, more than 500 files containing confidential information were stolen by the 38-year-old, including detailed information about the hardware infrastructure and software platforms that allow Google’s supercomputing data centers to train large AI models through machine learning.

According to the indictment, an early-stage Chinese company with a focus on AI offered to make Ding its chief technology officer within weeks after he began the theft activity. The news source added that the job came with a monthly salary of about $14,800 with an annual bonus and company stock.

Ding traveled to China in October 2022 and stayed there until March 2023, participating in investor meetings to raise capital for the firm, Beijing Rongshu Lianzhi Technology.

He then founded an AI startup in Shanghai in May 2023.

“We have experience with Google’s ten-thousand-card computational power platform. We just need to replicate and upgrade it — and then further develop a computational power platform suited to China’s national conditions,” he wrote in a document that was promoting his company on the China-based social media platform WeChat.

On three separate days in December 2023, Ding also had another Google employee scan his access badge to create the impression that he was working from the U.S. Google office when, in fact, he was in China, the Google investigators stated after examining surveillance footage.

Initially, Ding managed to evade Google’s detection by copying the company’s data into the Apple Notes application on his Google-issued MacBook and then converting it into PDF format to upload to his personal Google Cloud account.

However, the company became suspicious in December 2023, when he uploaded additional files from the Google network to another personal account while being in China.

Ding told a Google investigator that he had wanted to use the information as evidence of the work that he had done at Google.

It was also reported that, less than a week later, Ding booked a one-way ticket to Beijing slated to depart on Jan. 7. After doing that, he resigned from Google on Dec. 26, 2024.

Univ. of Va. Exposed for Spending $20M on DEI

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was revealed that the University of Virginia spends $20 million a year on its 235 DEI staffers, including a woman who said that the reason why the spike in premature deaths in Appalachia exists is because of the “toxicity of whiteness.”

Open the Books, a spending watchdog, said that the university spends $15 million on salaries and $5 million more in benefits to its DEI team, according to the Daily Mail.

Among those team members is Rachel Spraker, an “equity and inclusive” officer, who calls Appalachia’s wave of premature deaths a sign of “white toxicity,” and the school’s diversity chief Martin Davidson, who “earns” nearly $600,000 a year.

The university has “embraced the divisive quotas of the neo-Marxist DEI crowd,” according to Adam Andrzejewski, author of the study.

“Tens of millions of dollars in student tuition and taxpayer monies are flowing into promoting anti-American notions and radical philosophies that judge the color of one’s skin instead of the content — and competence — of their character,” he said.

Andrzejewski highlighted Davidson, senior associate dean of the Darden School of Business and global chief diversity officer, the university’s top DEI earner with an annual salary-and-benefits package of $587,340, which is more than three times the salary of Gov. Glenn Youngkin, R–Va.

The report then added that the second-biggest DEI paycheck goes to Kevin McDonald, the vice president for DEI and community partnerships, who “earns” $520,000 with benefits.

Other DEI bosses “earn” upwards of $250,000 each year, which is a huge salary in the state, considering that, on average, it costs $48,000 per year to live there.

The investigators also highlighted Spraker, a $242,840-a-year DEI “expert” with a track record in controversial comments about non-existent racism in her native Appalachian region.

She also talked about her community embracing white supremacy, suggesting that it is linked to its social problems, which include rising rates of gun suicides and opioid overdose deaths.

“I grew up in rural Appalachia. White people are dying of whiteness too. The toxicity of whiteness… many of them were dying prematurely also, in their twenties,” she said.

People Who Took Ivermectin Were Better Off, Study Says

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A new study discovered that people who tested positive for COVID-19 and took ivermectin as a treatment recovered faster than a comparison group.

According to a large study from the United Kingdom, the results of which were published by the Journal of Infection on Feb. 29, 2024, the time to self-reported recovery was a median of two days faster among the ivermectin recipients.

It was also revealed that the quicker recovery period was statistically significant.

In addition to that, people who received ivermectin were also less likely to be hospitalized or die. The study pointed out that 1.6% of ivermectin recipients were hospitalized or died versus 4% of the comparison group, which received typical care, which in the U.K. is largely focused on managing symptoms.

The study also found that ivermectin recipients enjoyed a reduction of severe symptoms and sustained recovery.

An open-label trial was covered by the study that involved 2,157 ivermectin recipients and 3,256 who received typical care from June 23, 2021, to July 1, 2022, with participants being randomized and reporting symptoms and recovery.

However, the authors of the study, among whom was Christopher Butler, a University of Oxford professor and joint chief investigator of the trial, downplayed the positive findings.

“Overall, these findings, while evidencing a small benefit in symptom duration, do not support the use of ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19 in the community among a largely vaccinated population at the dose and duration we used,” they said.

Aside from the possible leftist political beliefs, the other reason why the authors came to this conclusion was conflicts of interest, with one researcher receiving grants from pharmaceutical companies, including AstraZeneca, and other authors receiving grants from the University of Oxford, the Epoch Times reported.

The authors wrongly downplayed how ivermectin improved recovery from COVID-19, according to Dr. Pierre Kory, an American physician who was not involved in the trial.

“PRINCIPLE was a profoundly positive study that was instead analyzed and written up as a negative one,” Dr. Kory, who has long promoted ivermectin as a COVID-19 treatment, said.

5 Gazans Crushed to Death by Runaway Aid Package

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Five people, including two children, died on March 8, 2024, when they were crushed by an airdropped aid package that didn’t properly deploy over northern Gaza.

The New York Post reported that the package fell on three adults and two little boys inside the Al-Shati refugee camp around 11:30 a.m. when its parachute failed to deploy, according to the officials from the Health Ministry that is currently run by a terrorist organization Hamas and an eyewitness.

In addition to that, the news source reported that 11 other people between the ages of 30 and 50 were injured by the botched drop.

According to the video, several aid packages were dropped from the sky. However, one of the packages was descending faster than the others because its parachute didn’t fully open.

It was reported that among the countries that dropped aid packages over Gaza on that day to help residents within the embattled region were the United States, Jordan, Egypt, France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

One of the government officials told the Post that the U.S. aid packages were not involved in the fatalities and the incident is still under investigation, adding that the American packages contained non-pork and halal military rations.

International aid agencies criticized airdropped aid packages for not being sufficient, adding that they should only be used as a “last resort.” The United Nations warned on March 7, 2024, that more than half a million Gazans are “on the brink of famine,” according to Martin Griffiths, head of its Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

Another UN official also criticized the packages by calling them a “temporary Band-Aid.”

“Humanitarian workers always complain that airdrops are good photo opportunities but a lousy way to deliver aid,” Richard Gowan, director of its International Crisis Group, said last week.

One of the American officials said that they are aware the aid packages are not enough to lessen the humanitarian crisis, but that they affirm the world aims to help Gazans.

Notorious Ga. Phone Call Used to Predicate Trump Case Was Illegally Recorded

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The new book revealed that a widely misunderstood phone call, on which Fani Willis’s political prosecution rests, was illegally recorded, which means that the entire prosecution could crumble with defendants having a new avenue to challenge Democrats’ witch hunt.

The leftists wouldn’t even be able to claim that the authors of the book, Mike Isikoff and Daniel Klaidman, are politically conservative since it is not true, according to the Federalist. For example, Isikoff was an original Russia collusion hoaxer, with his articles being used to secure warrants for the FBI to spy on innocent Republican presidential campaign advisers such as Carter Page.

The authors revealed in the book that the person who recorded the phone call was neither in Fulton County nor Georgia. Jordan Fuchs, a political activist who serves as Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s chief of staff, was in the state of Florida, where it is illegal to record a call without all parties to the call consenting to the recording. Fuchs never asked for the consent to record.

Initially, Fuchs gave the Washington Post fabricated quotes that the leftist publication later had to retract about a phone call Donald Trump had with someone in the elections office. Even though she was not busted for her lie until March 2021, the embarrassment of being found out taught her the importance of recording phone calls, according to the authors.

One of those calls between Trump, Raffensperger and their associates that forms the basis of Willis’ investigation was recorded by Fuchs in early January 2021.

Fuchs ended the call by saying they should get off the phone and work to “preserve the relationship” between the two offices, according to the news source. However, instead of doing that, she immediately leaked the phone call to the Post, which published it hours later.

Even the authors of the book admitted that the recording of the call was a crime.

“Fuchs has never talked publicly about her taping of the phone call. She learned, after the fact, that Florida where she was at the time is one of fifteen states that requires two-party consent for the taping of phone calls,” they wrote.

‘Through the Fire’: Ronna Left in Tears as Trump Takes RNC Reins

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Former RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel turned emotional as she delivered a farewell speech at a Texas meeting where the new co-chairs of the GOP were elected.

“It is a little bit bittersweet to be with all of you here today as I step down as chair after seven years of working with you all,” McDaniel said Friday, as she reflected on her seven years leading the RNC.

McDaniel grew emotional as she spoke of her husband, Patrick McDaniel, and his unwavering support.

“This is when I knew I would get emotional,” McDaniel conceded, her voice breaking. “Patrick is amazing. When President Trump and the team came to me to do this job, seven years ago, I said, ‘No.’  I said, ‘No.’”

McDaniel implied that it was her husband who persuaded her to take on the two-year post as RNC chair in 2017. “Patrick turned to me and said, ‘Honey, we can do anything for two years.’ It’s only seven years,” she remarked, prompting the crowd to break into laughter.

In the meeting, Michael Whatley, the former chair of the North Carolina Republican Party, and Lara Trump, former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, were elected as co-chairs of the RNC after Trump’s endorsement.

McDaniel’s resignation followed widespread criticism on social media over the GOP’s electoral losses after Trump secured victory in the 2016 presidential election.

Republicans lost the House of Representatives in 2018, the Senate, and the White House in 2020. In the 2022 midterms, Republicans barely secured a narrow majority in the House despite facing a scandal-ridden President Joe Biden.

Trump seemed to concur with the criticism and asked McDaniel to step down earlier this year.

During her farewell speech, McDaniel appeared to acknowledge the need for change. “President Trump deserves to have the change in place he wants in place at the RNC,” she said.

Despite the backlash miring McDaniel, Kansas RNC Committeewoman Kim Bochers hailed McDaniel, implying that she has “been through the fire.”

‘Come to Jesus’: Biden Admits to Proselytizing Bibi in Hot Mic, Sends Troops to Aid Hamas

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden was caught in a hot mic moment on Thursday, emphasizing that he told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is Jewish, about the need for a “come-to-Jesus” moment.

The hot mic incident occurred after Biden finished his gaffe-and-cough-ridden State of the Union address on Thursday. Video footage from CSPAN showed Biden conversing with Sen. Michael Bennet, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

During the exchange, Bennet, D-Colo., suggested to Biden that the administration must advocate for humanitarian aid for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the area in Israel governed by Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization.

Biden, in agreement, replied: “I told him, Bibi – and don’t repeat this – but you and I are going to have a ‘come-to-Jesus’ meeting.”

The verbal slip was captured by one of Biden’s aides who approached the president, informing him, “Sir, you’re on a hot mic.”

Prompting Blinken’s laughter, Biden jested, “I’m on a hot mic here. Good. That was good.”

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization, was a contentious topic during Biden’s address on Thursday.

In his speech, Biden pledged to deploy U.S. military to support the construction of a temporary pier aimed at facilitating aid into Gaza.

“No U.S. boots will be on the ground,” Biden assured. “A temporary pier will enable a massive increase in the amount of humanitarian assistance getting into Gaza every day.”

Biden’s pro-Palestinian rhetoric appeared to mark an attempt to appease discontent left-wing voters.

Several polls and Super Tuesday votes revealed a staggering number of uncommitted voters, many of whom oppose the U.S. support for Israel in its war against Hamas.

These uncommitted voters, critics point out, threaten Biden’s re-election bid, forcing the president to now focus on aiding Palestinians.
