CNN Audition? McCarthy Said Dems ‘Look Like America’ in Unearthed Videos

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A months-old video has resurfaced, revealing former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., oddly praising the apparent diversity among Democrats while taking a direct swipe at Republicans.

Recorded on Oct. 28 during an Oxford University debate, the video has stirred controversy around the outgoing former Republican leader’s intentions.

“When you look at the Democrats, they actually look like America,” McCarthy said in the viral video. “When I look at my party, we look like the most restrictive country club in America.”

While McCarthy’s commentary on diversity within the Republican Party surprised many, it wasn’t the first instance. Just a month ago, during a New York Times summit on Nov. 30, McCarthy took a jab at the apparent lack of diversity among House Republicans.

“I became leader when we took the minority, and this was a turning point for me,” McCarthy said, referring to the State of the Union in 2019.

“I’d just become leader and I’m excited and President Trump’s there. And I look over at the Democrats and they stand up. They look like America,” he claimed. “We stand up. We look like the most restrictive country club in America,” he added.

McCarthy’s remarks on diversity came three weeks after his ousting as House speaker. The motion to vacate, introduced by Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., was supported by all House Democrats and eight Republicans, leading to McCarthy’s removal.

Following his ousting, McCarthy has made strong remarks against the Republicans who voted against him. He threatened Gaetz with potential expulsion after rumors of an upcoming House Ethics Committee report on allegations of sexual misconduct and misuse of funds.

Reports surfaced claiming McCarthy physically assaulted Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., who also voted to oust him. Additionally, McCarthy stated that Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., does not deserve re-election in 2024.

McCarthy’s decision to exit Congress dealt a significant blow to the already-slim Republican majority in the House. With the departure of Santos and McCarthy, as well as the retirement of Rep. Bill Johnson, R-Ohio, Republicans are likely to face challenges, unable to afford losing more than two votes on any issue.

Leftist State Would Require Blood Donors to Disclose COVID-19 Vax Status

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Individuals in Illinois who are receiving blood donations would be allowed to know by the new legislation whether they’re receiving blood from an individual vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine or another mRNA vaccine.

Bill HB4243 which was introduced on Nov. 29, 2023, by state Rep. Jed Davis, R-Ill., amends the Illinois Clinical Laboratory and Blood Bank Act and would require blood banks to test donated blood for evidence of COVID-19 vaccines and other mRNA components.

The bill would also require a person who wants to donate blood to disclose during each donor screening process if one received a COVID-19 vaccine or any other mRNA vaccine during one’s lifetime.

It would also impose labeling requirements for blood or blood components that test positive for evidence of a COVID-19 vaccine or other mRNA vaccine component or were obtained from a donor who received a coronavirus vaccine or other mRNA vaccine.

“A constituent approached me concerned about her son’s upcoming surgery. What if he needed a blood transfusion with the long-term impacts concerning mRNA vaccines unknown? As a parent myself, her concern and corresponding question feel warranted,” Davis told the Epoch Times.

Davis then added that the conversation became the reason to write the bill.

“We disclose medical information all the time with providers, so why not our vaccine history? It’s an easy ask, and I’m proud to sponsor this bill,” he said.

A bill is read and referred to the Rules Committee and will then be assigned to a substantive committee after it is introduced.

Davis said that he believes that part of his job is to translate the concerns or ideas of constituents into legislation when applicable — and that every bill, including HB4243, originated from someone walking through his office door.

A Republican lawmaker in Montana who was also concerned about blood transfusions from people vaccinated against COVID-19 introduced a bill earlier this year, which would have made it a misdemeanor offense for anyone who received a COVID-19 vaccine to donate tissue or blood. The bill was tabled quickly in a 19 to 1 vote.

What? Hunter Biden Says GOP ‘Motherf***ers’ Wants to ‘Kill’ Him

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A defiant Hunter Biden targeted his critics in a Friday tell-all interview with musician Moby, calling Republicans “motherf**kers” and alleging they are attempting to “kill” him.

Targeting Republicans, Biden asserted on the Moby Pod podcast on Friday that his federal indictment is part of a larger effort to destroy his family’s reputation. He alleged that the focus on him stems from political motivations rather than genuine concerns about his actions.

“That’s the one thing — one of the reasons why I’m going to survive this — and I’m going to survive it clean and sober — is because I am not going to let these motherf***ers use me as just another example of why people in recovery are never going to be okay, never to be trusted, they’re all degenerates. I’m just not going to let that happen. I’m just not going to let it happen,” Hunter Biden said.

The first son drew attention to some of the harsher critics in the House of Representatives, specifically Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and Paul Gosar, R-Ariz. The host echoed the host’s claims that these lawmakers might be inflicting their own hurt on individuals.

“I absolutely am positive of that,” he claimed. “If you can’t look at some of these people like Marjorie Taylor Greene or Paul Gosar and see someone that have been bullied, that are just absolutely suffering— They’re suffering people. And that doesn’t excuse the things that they have done to others and to me, but you see people that are in anguish. They’re not healthy people.”

His anger did not stop there. Hunter Biden claimed the ultimate goal is to destroy his father. President Joe Biden is currently facing threats of an impeachment inquiry vote over his alleged role in what Republicans describe as political corruption.

“They are trying to destroy a presidency. And so, it’s not about me,” Hunter Biden added. “In their most base way, what they’re trying to do is they’re trying to kill me, knowing that it will be a pain greater than my father could be able to handle. And so, therefore, destroying a presidency in that way.”

The embattled first son claimed the only reason his family is under scrutiny is because of former President Donald Trump.

“Think about this, okay? My dad has been a senator since I was two years old. He has released decades-worth of his tax returns. He has lived in the public light. We have lived in the public light. We have gone through four presidential campaigns. My entire life has been before the public. It took until, oh, low and behold, Donald Trump figured out that somehow this is a criminal enterprise,” he said, jokingly.

Recurring Payments to Joe Biden Were ‘Car Payments,’ Hunter’s Lawyer Says

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Hunter Biden’s attorney claimed that recently uncovered payments that funneled into his father’s bank account were payments for a car.

As it was reported by Slay News, the payments were made to Joe Biden’s bank from his son’s Owasco PC account, which received millions of dollars in payments from Chinese state-owned corporations.

Abbe Lowell, Hunter’s lawyer and Bill Clinton’s former impeachment attorney, mocked House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R–Ky., in a statement for his characterization of the payments as proof that Joe was involved in his son’s corrupt business dealings.

Three $1,380 payments between September and November 2018 were reimbursements on car payments for a truck that Joe bought for Hunter when he couldn’t get credit, Lowell also claimed.

“There Chairman Comer goes again — reheating what is old as new to try to revive his sham of an investigation. The truth is Hunter’s father helped him when he was struggling financially due to his addiction and could not secure credit to finance a truck. When Hunter was able to, he paid his father back and took over the payments himself,” he said.

A car dealership did confirm that Joe bought a 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor truck for $67,000 for his son in June 2018, with Hunter trading in two other vehicles as part of the deal.

Both the deal and payments to Joe are all on Hunter’s laptop, but the payments are not specifically designated as car payments and there’s no evidence to confirm that this was the purpose of the transfers.

In addition to that, Lowell didn’t explain why the payments didn’t equal the cost of the vehicle purchase.

“This wasn’t a payment from Hunter Biden’s personal account but an account for his corporation that received payments from China and other shady corners of the world,” Comer said, adding that the payments “are part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in and benefited from his family’s influence-peddling schemes.”

He also said that he doesn’t believe the payments are car payments and noted that Joe had many meetings with his son’s business associates as the foreign payments were being made in China, Russia, Ukraine, Romania and Kazakhstan.

Also, there isn’t any documentation that would prove that payments were car payments, Comer said.

According to him, bank records prove that Hunter could have easily afforded a car with the millions he was getting from foreign entities, without the need for credit or loans.

Biden Announces Another $5B in Illegal Student-Loan Debt ‘Forgiveness’

(Headline USA) As his approval ratings continue to drop among young voters, President Joe Biden announced this week that his administration will illegally forgive another $5 billion in student-loan debt for more than 80,000 borrowers, Fox Business reported.

Biden has already canceled more than $132 billion in student-loan debt since 2020 through various loopholes. But his sweeping attempt to unilaterally cancel tens of thousands in debt for every single borrower was struck down by the Supreme Court last summer as unconstitutional.

Critics contend that the loan plan does not, in fact, relieve any debt but unfairly transfers the burden of it from those who assumed it onto taxpayers who either paid their student loans off already or never took them on in the first place. That, in turn, disproportionately harms people of lower socioeconomic status who opted not to attend college due to the financial burden of it.

Instead of honoring the court’s decision, however, Biden has continued to work around it as he desperately seeks some means to pander for political gain.

“In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision on our student debt relief plan, we are continuing to pursue an alternative path to deliver student debt relief to as many borrowers as possible as quickly as possible,” Biden said in a statement Wednesday.

This latest plan will wipe out the student-loan balance of borrowers in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program who have worked for 10 years and made 120 qualifying payments.

It will also forgive debt for nearly 46,000 borrowers through the Income-Driven Repayment plan to “address longstanding concerns with misuse of forbearance,” according to the Education Department.

“Before President Biden took office, it was virtually impossible for eligible borrowers to access the student debt relief they rightfully earned,” Education Secretary Miguel Cardona said in a statement.

“The data released today once again make clear that the Biden–Harris administration’s relentless efforts to fix the broken student loan system are paying off in a big way,” he added. “… This level of debt relief is unparalleled and we have no intention of slowing down.”

The move comes just days after the House voted to block implementation of another one of Biden’s student-loan debt forgiveness efforts.

The measure from the House blocks the Education Department from enacting a rule that would allow borrowers who have earnings of less than $15 per hour to pay $0 on their student loans.

Legal Expert: Hunter Biden Indictments May Be Ruse to Dodge House Probe

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) While some are celebrating Hunter Biden’s latest felony indictments in California as a long overdue measure of justice, others are cautioning that it may be a conveniently timed way of avoiding congressional testimony that could lead to the impeachment of his father, President Joe Biden.

Legal experts hinted that the indictments may be meant to shield Hunter at his scheduled congressional deposition on Wednesday by allowing him to plead the Fifth Amendment, asserting his right against self-incrimination, the Daily Caller reported.

Similar criticisms followed Attorney General Merrick Garland’s appointment of David Weiss, who had led the investigation into Hunter as U.S. Attorney for Delaware, to be the special council overseeing the probe into him shortly after Republicans launched their own investigations.

Doing so assured that the Justice Department could keep its case open indefinitely and continue to stonewall on any subpoena requests, despite the pressure it faced following whistleblower testimony that Weiss had slow-walked the case intentionally to ride out the statute of limitations.

Hunter was charged for failing to pay over $1 million in taxes from 2016 to 2019, according to the court, spending “millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle rather than paying his tax bills.”

But during an appearance Thursday with Fox News host Jesse Watters, former U.S. Attorney Brett Tollman said the timing of the grand-jury indictment immediately following his subpoena to appear in Congress next week seemed suspicious.

“They could have brought these charges much earlier,” Tolman said. “They didn’t because they wanted to try to slip one past the American public.”

Republicans James Comer of Kentucky and Jim Jordan of Ohio, the respective chairs of the  House Oversight  and House Judiciary committees initially issued a subpoena on Nov. 8 for Hunter to appear on Dec. 13 at the deposition to answer questions about his foreign business ties as they investigate potential bribery and foreign influence during Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president.

“The heat is increasing,” Tollman noted, while arguing that the evasive maneuvers are as much to protect the president and his political interests as they are about Hunter.

“The scope of his involvement is increasing,” Tollman added. “The evidence is coming forward that he had more participation and contact with Hunter Biden’s funders.”

Comer spoke out on CNN conveying similar worries on Friday, only to be met with derision from far-left hack Jake Tapper.

Tucker Pins Vice Presidential Hopes on Divine Intervention

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Popular conservative host Tucker Carlson reacted to reports that former First Lady Melania Trump is secretly rallying her husband, Donald Trump, to tap the former Fox News host to join the 2024 ticket.

Speaking at the American Project Foundation annual gala, Carlson reportedly did not explicitly reject a potential offer but such event is unlikely to happen.

“God would have to yell at me very loud,” Carlson said of potentially joining the campaign trail. His comments came in response to a member of the audience who asked the popular host about Melania Trump being an “advocate” for a Trump-Carlson 2024 ticket.

“I don’t know her, really,” Carlson said of Melania Trump. “To go from being, like, a well-paid street corner schizophrenic to, like, a politician — it’s just kind of hard to envision.”

Carlson’s comments come on the heels of his decision to launch a subscriber-based media service. Carlson, along with Daily Caller Co-Founder Neil Patel, is nearing the final stage of the website.

As reported by Axios in July, Carlson signed a $1 million ad contract with PublicSq, an online marketplace for conservative entities. The Wall Street Journal also reported that Carlson and Patel raised an initial $15 million investment toward the company.

In an interview with Reuters, Patel said the site is being opened for membership. “Once we are comfortable that all of the systems are running well, launch and brand release will follow,” Patel said.

Carlson has previously shut down rumors that he might seek public office. “I have zero ambition, not just politically, but in life,” said Carlson in an interview with Semafor in 2022 months before parting ways with Fox News.

“I don’t want power. I’ve never wanted power. I’m annoyed by things, I want them to change, but I’ve never been motivated by the desire to control people,” he added.

Reports indicate that among those considered to be Trump running mates include Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio; Gov. Kristi Noem, R-S.D.; Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, R-Ark.; Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla.; and former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.

Elon Musk May Bring Alex Jones Back on Twitter

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Twitter owner Elon Musk said that he may bring InfoWars founder Alex Jones back on the platform, from which Jones was permanently banned in 2018.

“Think about how much letting Alex Jones BACK on X would make the machine rage @elonmusk. It’s time,” political commentator The Quartering wrote on Thursday.

Musk replied to the tweet by saying that he would think about allowing Jones to have his account back.

“Will consider. In general, since this platform aspires to be the global town square, permanent bans should be extremely rare. Also, if he does say something false on this platform, then Community Notes will correct him, whereas that would not be the case elsewhere,” he wrote.

Jones was one of the first people who was permanently banned from the platform under previous Twitter owners. In addition to that, thousands of other users were banned from the platform as well. When Musk purchased Twitter, almost everyone who was banned was allowed back on the platform, except Jones and a few other people.

During the interview with Tucker Carlson, Jones was asked about the prospect of going back on Twitter, to which Jones cast doubt on the idea that he would be allowed back on, according to Trending Politics.

He said that he doesn’t blame Musk for the continued ban, after pointing to the fact that several extremists and adversarial political leaders were allowed on Twitter, including the leaders of the Iranian regime.

“I understand I’ve been so demonized with the general public. He’s barely able to keep Twitter going right now. I really appreciate what he’s done. I admire him. I think he’s done a lot of great work, and I see him moving in the right direction,” Jones said about Musk.

He then continued defending Musk’s decision to not reinstate his account.

“So a lot of people attack Musk on Twitter. I trend all the time, ‘Hey, if you’re such an absolutist on free speech, bring back Alex Jones.’ I understand that if he did that, the ADL and others would really be able to probably shut down Twitter. So I understand that he needs to go through a process before he does that,” he added.

‘Squad’ Rep. Blasts House for Censuring Him over Fire-Alarm Incident

(Headline USA) “Squad” Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., blasted House Republicans as “unserious and unproductive” this week after they voted to censure him for illegally pulling a U.S. Capitol fire alarm.

Bowman pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor earlier this year after he pulled the alarm—despite there being no immediate threat of a fire—in the middle of a contentious House floor vote.

He denied doing it on purpose to give his colleagues more time for negotiation, insisting that he didn’t know what the fire alarm did. However, surveillance video showed that he removed two signs from the nearby exit warning not to pull the alarm except in case of emergency.

“I was rushing to make a vote, I was trying to get through a door. I thought the alarm would open the door,” he said at the time.

The censure resolution, introduced by Rep. Lisa McLain, R-Mich., passed on a 214-191 vote, with just three Democrats voting to censure their colleague. Four other Democrats voted “present,” and 24 members did not vote at all.

In a statement on Thursday, Bowman said he had “expressed deep regret, apologized for my mistake, and taken accountability for my actions,” but continued to refuse to accept direct culpability for them.

Instead, he played the victim, accusing Republicans of “targeting” him.

“Their efforts to target me are a testament to the importance of my voice in pushing back against their disingenuous rhetoric and harmful policies,” he claimed.

Fellow “Squad” Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., who was also censured by the House last month for making anti-Semitic comments, agreed that the censure was meant to “silence” Bowman with a bizarre race-baiting attack that seemed to have little to do with the matter at hand.

“They are obsessed with attacking black and brown members of Congress, but do nothing to help our families thrive,” she claimed. “They need to get a grip.”

House Democrats tried to prevent the censure resolution from advancing on Wednesday, arguing Bowman had already been held accountable by the legal system. But Republicans argued Bowman’s actions also directly affected congressional proceedings and thus deserved a congressional reprimand.

“I think what he did was wrong. I don’t think it was an accident. It was absolutely done to disrupt a proceeding,” said Rep. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y.

Charlamagne Tha God Calls on Biden to Drop Out of 2024 Race

(Headline USA) As President Joe Biden continues to sink in the polls, more Democrats are turning against him.

While hosting The Daily Show on Wednesday, prominent radio personality Charlamagne Tha God, whose real name is Lenard McKelvey, called on Biden to drop out of the 2024 race, saying his exit would be a “gift” to the rest of the country.

“I know he thinks he’s got this in the bag, but the polls say otherwise,” the “Breakfast Club” host said, according to the New York Post.

“I want Biden stepping into beat [former President Donald Trump] the way I want him stepping in to defend me at a bar fight,” he added, before directly addressing the president: “I appreciate you caring, but I don’t like our chances.”

Charlamagne argued that although Biden was able to successfully convince the Democratic Party that he was the only one capable of beating Trump in 2020, the odds have changed significantly since then.

“The facts are: Biden is not getting any younger, he’s not gonna get any more popular and he’s not getting a new running mate,” Charlamagne said. “So please, Mr. President, give America the ultimate Christmas gift and step aside.”

The host is known to carry particular pull within the black community, and his has been the unfortunate vehicle for Democrats’ widely ridiculed acts of racism in recent election cycles.

In 2016, Hillary Clinton was accused of pandering for claiming that she always carried hot sauce wherever she went.

During the previous election cycle, Biden created a scandal that likely cost him a portion of black voters when he told Charlamagne’s listeners, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

Since then Biden has only continued to alienate black voters.

While Trump’s 8% of the black vote in 2020 was seen as a sign of successful inroads for a Republican Party that has long struggled with minority outreach, a full 22% of black voters now say they support the former president, compared with 71% for Biden.

Those numbers alone could mean a significant shift that could make the difference in an otherwise close election.

Several prominent rappers already have spoken out in support of Trump. This week another prominent figure in the black community came to the same conclusion that it was time to cut bait with the Democrat leader, although he stopped short of donning a MAGA hat.

ESPN host Stephen A. Smith told Outkick‘s Clay Travis, “We need a new president,” Fox News reported.

Smith said that in his “perfect world,” Harris would have “showed up and had more of an impact.” But that “has not been the case,” he admitted.

“Now, here’s where I’m going: I am in no way saying that me, myself, supports this move, but what makes sense if you are a flaming liberal, what makes sense is that Biden bows out, and [California Gov.] Gavin Newsom takes the mantle and runs for the presidency against . . . the Republican nominee,” Smith said.

The sports commentator also cited Biden’s age as a top concern.

“The man is gonna be 82 years of age in the year 2024. There’s no way around it. We need to stop,” he said.
