Charlamagne Tha God Calls on Biden to Drop Out of 2024 Race

(Headline USA) As President Joe Biden continues to sink in the polls, more Democrats are turning against him.

While hosting The Daily Show on Wednesday, prominent radio personality Charlamagne Tha God, whose real name is Lenard McKelvey, called on Biden to drop out of the 2024 race, saying his exit would be a “gift” to the rest of the country.

“I know he thinks he’s got this in the bag, but the polls say otherwise,” the “Breakfast Club” host said, according to the New York Post.

“I want Biden stepping into beat [former President Donald Trump] the way I want him stepping in to defend me at a bar fight,” he added, before directly addressing the president: “I appreciate you caring, but I don’t like our chances.”

Charlamagne argued that although Biden was able to successfully convince the Democratic Party that he was the only one capable of beating Trump in 2020, the odds have changed significantly since then.

“The facts are: Biden is not getting any younger, he’s not gonna get any more popular and he’s not getting a new running mate,” Charlamagne said. “So please, Mr. President, give America the ultimate Christmas gift and step aside.”

The host is known to carry particular pull within the black community, and his has been the unfortunate vehicle for Democrats’ widely ridiculed acts of racism in recent election cycles.

In 2016, Hillary Clinton was accused of pandering for claiming that she always carried hot sauce wherever she went.

During the previous election cycle, Biden created a scandal that likely cost him a portion of black voters when he told Charlamagne’s listeners, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

Since then Biden has only continued to alienate black voters.

While Trump’s 8% of the black vote in 2020 was seen as a sign of successful inroads for a Republican Party that has long struggled with minority outreach, a full 22% of black voters now say they support the former president, compared with 71% for Biden.

Those numbers alone could mean a significant shift that could make the difference in an otherwise close election.

Several prominent rappers already have spoken out in support of Trump. This week another prominent figure in the black community came to the same conclusion that it was time to cut bait with the Democrat leader, although he stopped short of donning a MAGA hat.

ESPN host Stephen A. Smith told Outkick‘s Clay Travis, “We need a new president,” Fox News reported.

Smith said that in his “perfect world,” Harris would have “showed up and had more of an impact.” But that “has not been the case,” he admitted.

“Now, here’s where I’m going: I am in no way saying that me, myself, supports this move, but what makes sense if you are a flaming liberal, what makes sense is that Biden bows out, and [California Gov.] Gavin Newsom takes the mantle and runs for the presidency against . . . the Republican nominee,” Smith said.

The sports commentator also cited Biden’s age as a top concern.

“The man is gonna be 82 years of age in the year 2024. There’s no way around it. We need to stop,” he said.

WATCH: Palestinian Woman in Gaza Reportedly Admits Where ‘Relief’ Money Is Going

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A Gaza resident told Al Jazeera TV that Hamas stole all of the aid coming in from other governments and charities, contrary to popular belief.

“All aid goes down (underground),” she said, according to the translated subtitles included with the viral video, which had garnered 2.4 million views as of Friday night. “The aid does not reach the nation, all the people.”

The Hamas terrorists who control the Gaza territory have constructed an elaborate network of underground tunnels from which they operate and take refuge as Israeli missiles lay waste to the buildings above.

Many of the tunnels intentionally use schools, hospitals and other civilian safe zones as their points of entry, the Israeli Defense Forces have revealed.

Despite using their own citizens as human shields, however, few Gazans have dared to criticize the brutal regime.

When the Al Jazeera journalist expressed surprise at the woman’s response, she shook her finger at him and explained that the widely reported “small trickle” of aid, with a large wave following closely behind, is incorrect, according to the Times of Israel.

“All of it goes into their houses,” she said, referring to Hamas. “They take it and will even shoot me or do whatever they want, Hamas.”

Several Twitter users applauded the anonymous woman for her bravery and wished her well; others remained skeptical of the situation.

“It’s great that some Palestinians are acknowledging the rot Hamas is,” one user said. “Most of them are now seeing the reality of the group they chose to lead them.”

Yet, some pointed out that Palestinians were long complicit in Hamas’s acts of cruelty and many likely were aware in advance of the group’s plans to commit a massacre in Israel on Oct. 7, killing some 1,200 innocent Israelis and taking hostage another 250, which broke the two-year ceasefire against the Jewish state and its autonomous Arab settlement.

“It should come as no surprise that the thousands who quietly looked away from what they knew Hamas to be are now opening up to those willing to listen to what was obviously known by everyone, including the Palestinians themselves,” posted Twitter user John Ayres.

The Biden administration’s reaction to the conflict has been slow and muddled, despite some shocking revelations about their involvement in the territory before the clash began.

President Joe Biden released $6 billion in frozen Iranian assets just a few weeks before Hamas launched the initial attack, leading to questions surrounding United States involvement and possible approval of the confrontation.

Ella Emhoff, stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris, raised millions for Gaza that may have ended up in the pockets of Hamas.

The young influencer raised $8 million via her Instagram account for the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, but there was no indication that the money successfully reached the people of Gaza.

FBI Photographer Sues Bureau over Discrimination Based on COVID-19 Vaccine Status

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) An FBI employee has sued the bureau for removing her from being considered for a position at an overseas embassy because she didn’t take the COVID-19 vaccine—even though there was no explicit requirement for her to be jabbed.

According to her lawsuit in federal court, Lucinda Davis began her career at the FBI as a scientific and technical photographer in 2013, before moving to Atlanta to become a photographer for the field office there.

At the end of 2020, Davis said she applied to become an administrative specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya.

The FBI offered her the position in March 2021, and she accepted it. But then, the bureau began pressuring her to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, she said.

In September 2021, she applied for an exemption on the grounds that her religious beliefs counsel her against all vaccinations. A month later, she said she received a “worldwide medical clearance.”

But as she was preparing for deployment, she received an email from nurse Gretchen Devins from FBI headquarters, asking about her vaccine status. Davis replied that she didn’t intend to get jabbed, according to her lawsuit.

Davis was then referred to another nurse, Robin Wood, who told her she’d need the COVID-19 vaccine to be deployed to Nairobi.

However, Nurse Wood’s emails repeatedly said that the vaccinations are “recommended,” but she didn’t say they were required.

Davis said she repeatedly inquired about the matter through numerous channels. By January 2022, she still hadn’t received a firm answer. “Nor had she received any response regarding whether the vaccinations for FBIHQ policy were actual requirements and stated as much, or whether they were instead just recommendations at that time,” her lawsuit said.

Then, an employee from the internal operations divisions sent her an email, asking Davis to sign a form stating that she was withdrawing from the position.

“Since Ms. Davis had no reason to withdraw from the position, she did not sign the [form],” her lawsuit said. “Ms. Davis explained she had not received the FBI policy on required versus recommended vaccinations, nor had she received the medical task list she was being told she failed to complete.”

Despite Davis refusing to withdraw, the FBI reposted the position with no communication to her.

Her lawsuit alleged that the FBI is violating Title VII rules against religious discrimination.

“Ms. Davis expressed to the FBI that her religious beliefs prohibited her from accepting the COVID-19 vaccine,” her lawsuit said. “The FBI failed to accommodate Ms. Davis, instead removing her from the position that she had rightfully earned.”

Davis seeks $250,000 in compensatory damages, including for back pay, forward pay and emotional distress.

The case number for her lawsuit, which was filed in October, is 1:23-cv-03103.

Univ. of Washington Accused of Discriminating against Whites in Hiring

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) An internal report from the University of Washington revealed that a “Diversity Advisory Committee” had inappropriately pressured university faculty to consider race when hiring for at least one position, according to a complaint that triggered the investigation, and the problem may have been far more widespread.

An audit performed by the UW Civil Rights Investigation Office determined—based on emails, recordings of meetings and an interview with a candidate applying for a job in the school’s psychology department—that the school may have run afoul of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination in hiring on the basis of race and other protected classes.

CRIO’s investigation into the complaint turned up a handbook that suggested such hiring practices may, in fact, have been systematic over the past several years, according to the National Association of Scholars.

The complaint alleged that the Diversity Advisory Committee for the school’s Department of Psychology reportedly pressured one hiring committee to reconsider candidates for a position based on their race.

The position in question was a tenure-track professorship teaching developmental psychology starting in 2023.

Despite the university’s Executive Order 31, which expressly forbade discrimination based on race and sex (in keeping with federal civil rights laws), the Diversity Advisory Committee refused to accept the top candidate for the position based on the person’s skin color.

“I was unsettled about the offer-order outcome for the following reasons: First, with three above threshold candidates (Black, Asian, White), it just seemed optically-speaking to look bad that offer #1 goes to the White candidate whom [sic] is the most junior and whose research content is less directly and explicitly connected to matters of race/ethnicity, compared to [name redacted] and [name redacted],” one member of the DAC said in an email.

“This made me think/suspect that some degree of undetected/unacknowledged bias had slipped in to result in this outcome.… Fourth, apart from [name redacted], the area visibly seems like it could use more diversity in faculty constitution,” the email continued.

The DAC rejected the initially preferred candidate in lieu of a more diverse individual, and the hiring committee agreed to do so for a myriad of reasons, none of which were related to the candidate or the position, including:

  • avoiding awkwardness at an upcoming faculty meeting
  • dodging bad press for “not prioritizing DEI”
  • circumventing tense office politics with other staff members
  • keeping clear of personal stress

The DAC, moreover, avoided hiring any white applicants from 2020-2021, instead hiring five candidates of color for tenure-track positions, and even wrote a handbook about their tactics, titled “Promising Practices.”

Several other taxpayer-funded organizations prioritize DEI policies, trainings and programming as well, including the National Archives and Records Administration, Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Reserve.

State Dept. Weaponizing Disinformation at Center of Lawsuit

(Eli Pacheco, Headline USA) Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is leading a lawsuit alleging President Joe Biden’s State Department censored conservative voices online to bankrupt certain news agencies’ ad revenue.

Paxton’s office filed paperwork on Wednesday in the suit, joined by the nonprofit New Civil Liberties Alliance and two prominent conservative media outlets, the Daily Wire and The Federalist.

It keys in on the State Department-backed Global Disinformation Index and NewsGuard, two operations that have colluded with the Biden administration to create an “exclusion list” of “disinformation” spreaders.

Ben Shapiro, Daily Wire editor emeritus, mentioned the lawsuit on his show on Wednesday.

“Their goal is to paint us as unreliable and therefore to push advertisers away from advertising on programs like this one, websites like the Daily Wire, websites like The Federalist,” Shapiro said. “That is being pushed by the State Department. That is an ongoing problem.”

Last month, the House Weaponization Subcommittee released its Homeland Security report. The document detailed the agency’s plans to censor content in 2020 via social-media platforms, a web of academic agencies and organizations the government funded.

Paxton’s suit outlined how the government targeted media plaintiffs whose politics they disagreed with in order to devalue their credibility with advertisers.

“These entities generate blacklists of ostensibly risky or unreliable American news outlets for the purpose of discrediting and demonetizing the disfavored press and redirecting money and audiences to news organizations that publish favored viewpoints,” the suit alleged.

The document said the plaintiffs were suing to end “one of the most audacious, manipulative, secretive, and gravest abuses of power and infringements of First Amendment rights by the federal government in American history.”

Legislation Introduced to End Solitary Confinement in Federal Prisons

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Jan. 6 prisoners, Whitmer kidnap inmates and numerous other dissidents have been held in solitary confinement—seemingly in retaliation for their political views.

Legislation has been introduced that aims to put a stop to such abuses.

The End Solitary Confinement Act would ban solitary confinement in federal facilities with limited exceptions, including for sleep, medical quarantine, emergency de-escalation, and as part of a necessary lockdown.

The legislation would also create standards such as capping the time that incarcerated people are alone at four hours, and requiring staff to meet them within one hour.

Throughout the U.S., roughly 122,000 prisoners are held in solitary confinement for 22 hours or more on a given day, according to a nonprofit watchdog report.

As Headline USA has reported, solitary confinement has been employed as punishment for numerous political prisoners.

For instance, two of the men convicted in the dubious Gov. Gretchen Whitmer kidnap plot, Adam Fox and Barry Croft, are being held in solitary at supermax facilities—where they’re prevented from speaking to the public.

Numerous Jan. 6 inmates have also been held in solitary—including, in a recent prominent instance, Infowars host Owen Shroyer.

And in the ongoing Headline USA investigative series, the Fed Files, this publication unearthed a shocking doctor’s report about an inmate that had been subjected to severe torture in solitary confinement.

“In 2014, while Mr. White was incarcerated at the John C. Polk Correctional Facility/Seminole County, FL, he was subjected to a regimen of sleep deprivation,” Dr. Richard Samuels wrote in his report on inmate Bill White.

“As described earlier, he was placed in segregation; alone in a small seven-foot by seven-foot room with constant bright illumination (24/7) over a period that of 105 days, or about three months, during which time he averaged approximately 1.2 hours of sleep per night,” Dr. Samuels wrote.

“During this period, he underwent a period of not eating or drinking and ultimately collapsed in his cell.”

But while Republican lawmakers have complained that the U.S. justice system is being weaponized against conservatives, the bill to end solitary confinement is only supported by Democrats thus far.

Journalist Christina Urso, who is working on a documentary about the Whitmer case, scolded Republicans for not supporting the End Solitary Confinement Act.

“I don’t know why the Republicans didn’t introduce this, but hopefully they will pass this,” Urso said. “I guess they don’t care about the J6 people they claim to care about, or the Whitmer guys, who they never mention.”

Study: Conservatives More Likely to Raise Mentally Healthy Kids

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A recent study suggested that conservative parents were far more likely to raise emotionally stable teenagers when compared with liberal parents, the Carolina Journal reported.

“Political ideology is one of the strongest predictors,” said the study.

“Conservative and very conservative parents are the most likely to adopt the parenting practices associated with adolescent mental health,” it continued. “They are the most likely to effectively discipline their children, while also displaying affection and responding to their needs.”

As a result, conservative parents who arrange ordered households tend to enjoy higher quality relationships with each other, and with their children according to both parents and children.

The study, conducted by the Institute for Family Studies and Gallup, indicated that fully intact, two-parent families that instill in children a respect for parental authority and the rule of law led to healthier and more robust children.

Still, the results indicated that when these conditions were met, other variables typically deemed important—such as socioeconomic status, race or level of education—hardly mattered when it came to having healthy families.

Researchers examined a variety of factors in teenage behaviors, including “mental health, visits to doctors, parenting practices, family relationships, activities, personality traits, attitudes toward marriage” and excessive social-media use.

But according to researchers, “the most important factor in the mental health of adolescent children is the quality of the relationship with their caregivers.”

As a result, parenting practices were determinative when analyzing the overall health of teens.

Particularly, “responsive, and rule-bound, disciplined parenting,” a style that corresponded with conservative political views, was shown to be the most effective and the most conducive to good parent–child relations.

In contrast, “liberal parents score the lowest, even worse than very liberal parents, largely because they are the least likely to successfully discipline their children.”

The study’s findings contradicted the latest parenting fashions, which include never saying “no” to children.

GOP Presidential Debate Broadcast Cuts out When Moderator Asks about COVID-19 Vaccines

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) GOP presidential hopefuls were asked about the controversial COVID-19 vaccines during Wednesday night’s debate, but viewers wouldn’t know it if they watched the event on certain platforms.

Indeed, as broadcaster Tim Pool was live streaming the debate on his show via Rumble, the feed cut out around the 1:44:30 mark of his show, as soon as moderator Megyn Kelly asked whether Donald Trump’s Operation Warp Speed—the initiative to fast-track the vaccine-production process in 2020.

“Woah!” Pool said when the feed abruptly ended. “She just asked him about vaccines and the whole thing shut down.”

Pool and his guests speculated that maybe there was an incident at the debate, or if one of the participants had a health problem. Pool then confirmed that the debate was still being broadcasted uninterrupted on television.

It appears as if the issue may have been confined to Rumble. The full, uninterrupted part of the debate is still on YouTube.

A Twitter user posted the vaccine portion of the debate for the Rumble users who missed it.

Upstart contender Vivek Ramaswamy took Kelly’s question about Warp Speed first, promising to rescind the liability protections for vaccine makers.

“We will repeal that, just like we will repeal every other form of crony capitalism,” Ramaswamy said. “If we had open debate on COVID vaccine, it wouldn’t have been mandated.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, for his part, promised to hold those accountable who rushed the vaccine and pushed for it to be mandatory.

“We need a reckoning for what this government did during COVID-19. That includes the MNRA shots,” he said, citing the FDA’s approval of the vaccine for six-month-old babies as one of the more heinous moves by the pharmaceutical industry.

DOJ: Russia Stole U.S. Nuclear Secrets w/Email Scam

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The Justice Department announced charges Thursday against two Russian nationals who allegedly employed a “sophisticated” cyberattack against the U.S. and its allies over a six-year period—stealing American nuclear secrets and other sensitive information in the process.

According to the DOJ, the “sophisticated” Russian attack entailed an old-fashioned phishing scheme.

“The conspirators used ‘spoofed’ email accounts designed to look like personal and work-related email accounts of the group’s targets. The conspirators allegedly also sent sophisticated looking emails that appeared to be from email providers suggesting users had violated terms of service,” the DOJ said in a press release.

“These messages were designed to trick victims into providing their email account credentials to false login prompts.”

One might think that U.S. intelligence agencies would be the last to fall for a phishing attack—especially after the Russiagate fiasco—but the Russians apparently tricked some high-level officials.

According to the DOJ, victims included State Department and Defense Department officials, a retired Air Force General and employees at several of the Department of Energy’s 17 facilities across the country—where highly sensitive nuclear secrets are kept.

And it looks like the Russian scheme was successful in stealing nuke secrets.

“Once the Conspirators illegally obtained the targeted victims’ credentials, they were able to gain unauthorized access to their accounts and take valuable intelligence from their victims’ accounts at will, including intelligence related to United States defense, foreign affairs, and security policies, as well as nuclear energy related technology, research, and development,” the indictment against the Russians said.

Other targets included Ukraine, NATO and the United Kingdom. The DOJ said the Russian hacking campaign resulted in election interference in the UK.

“The conspirators—known publicly by the name ‘Callisto Group’—targeted military and government officials, think tank researchers and staff, and journalists in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, and that information from certain of these targeted accounts was leaked to the press in Russia and the United Kingdom in advance of U.K. elections in 2019,” the DOJ said.

The DOJ charged Russian nationals Ruslan Aleksandrovich Peretyatko and Andrey Stanislavovich Korinets over the scheme. They were each charged with one count of conspiracy to commit computer fraud, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison for Peretyatko, and up to 10 years for Korinets.

The State Department has announced a $10 million reward for information on the location of the defendants, who remain at large.

Hunter Biden Indicted on 9 New Felonies Related to Tax Fraud

(resident Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, is facing nine new felony charges in California related to tax fraud.

Federal prosecutors released a 56-page indictment late Thursday. The indictment unsealed in the Central District of California alleges Biden failed to file and pay taxes, evaded an assessment and filed false or fraudulent tax returns.

The indictment alleges Biden attempted to dodge paying taxes of at least $1.4 million from 2016 through 2019.

CNN previously reported that a special counsel has been using a Los Angeles-based grand jury to gather evidence related to Biden’s finances. The new indictment contains nine charges, including lying about the taxes he eventually filed in 2018 to significantly reduce what he owed.

Notably, Hunter Biden allegedly “spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle rather than paying his tax bills,” according to the indictment.

“Between 2016 and October 15, 2020, the Defendant spent this money on drugs, escorts and girlfriends, luxury hotels and rental properties, exotic cars, clothing, and other items of a personal nature, in short, everything but his taxes,” the indictment continued.

Also from the indictment:

“Between 2016 and October 15, 2020, the Defendant individually received more than $7 million in total gross income. This included in excess of $1.5 million in 2016, $2.3 million in 2017, $2.1 million in 2018, $1 million in 2019 and approximately $188,000 from January through October 15, 2020. In addition, from January through October 15, 2020, the Defendant received approximately $1.2 million in financial support to fund his extravagant lifestyle.”

Republican leadership on the House Oversight Committee and the House Judiciary Committee threatened Hunter Biden on Wednesday with a contempt of Congress charge should he skip a scheduled Dec. 13 deposition related to a separate investigation.

Republicans are looking to question Hunter Biden along with other family members and associates to build an impeachment charge against the president related to the Biden family’s overseas business dealings.

House Oversight Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., said Hunter Biden will be deposed but likely be allowed to testify publicly at a later date.

Biden pleaded not guilty in October to federal tax charges in Delaware after a sweetheart plea deal fell through. That case is ongoing.

It is unlikely that the president’s son would have seen any meaningful accountability if it were not for a series of whistleblowers who testified before Congress that the investigation of then U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss had been hamstrung by the Justice Department.

The public spotlight forced corrupt Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint Weiss as special council, giving him the authority to file charges in other jurisdictions, including California.

“Weiss demonstrated remarkably little interest in prosecuting Hunter—demonstrated by his refusal to bring these charges when he knew about them years ago and by his allowing the statute of limitations to pass on other tax year charges,” noted the Techno Fog blog.

“The credit for this prosecution, really, goes the brave whistleblowers who risked their careers and retaliation to publicize just how the DOJ protected Hunter Biden,” it added. “In an era where FBI employees and DOJ lawyers turn a blind eye to abuses, whether through the FISA process or elsewhere, here we find that there are still some honest government actors out there.”

However, some political pundits speculated that with the first domino having fallen, a cascade of additional charges may follow.

“This is just the tip of the iceberg,” said Trending Politics‘s Collin Rugg.
