Report: DOJ Prosecutors Leaked Classified Info to a Neo-Nazi

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Lawyers for the Justice Department have inadvertently leaked classified information to a neo-Nazi facing charges of plotting to attack the power grid, according to a report earlier this month from Raw Story.

The neo-Nazi, Marine Corps veteran Jordan Duncan, was set to stand trial this month. But his lawyer, Raymond Tarlton, said that the DOJ sent him discovery last month that contained classified information.

“We all of a sudden realized there was classified information produced to us,” Tarlton told Raw Story, explaining that his defense team gave the classified material back to the government. “No one on our defense team has a security clearance … It’s put a big pause in our preparations for them to cure what they call ‘spillage.’”

According to Duncan’s attorney, the government found classified information on his client’s hard drive when he was arrested in October 2020. That classified information was apparently downloaded from the internet and originated from the website Wikileaks.

The DOJ spent the next three-plus years reviewing Duncan’s electronic devices to ensure no other classified information was located on them—but then still gave Duncan classified info in a batch of discovery last month. Duncan has not been charged with mishandling classified information or any related crime.

Duncan’s three co-defendants have reached plea deals with the government. Two of them, Liam Montgomery Collins and Paul James Kryscuk, are set to be sentenced March 27.

According to the DOJ, the defendants discussed using homemade Thermite, a combination of metal powder and metal oxide which burns at over 4000°F to burn through and destroy power transformers. They also allegedly conspired to manufacture illegal firearms.

DOJ Blunders

DOJ lawyers leaking sensitive evidence is a rare, but not unheard of, occurrence.

Last November, Headline USA revealed that the DOJ exposed the FBI’s own alleged confidential human sources.

The DOJ’s apparent blunder occurred in its Sept. 26 motion to dismiss a lawsuit from neo-Nazi prison inmate Bill White’s against the Bureau of Prisons—a lawsuit involving allegations that the BOP retaliated against White for his legal filings, and that the U.S. government is punishing him for refusing to cooperate in an ongoing murder investigation.

The DOJ had been seeking sanctions against White for naming confidential informants in his court filings.

However, the DOJ’s own filings against White have also exposed the identities of alleged FBI informants, including ones that weren’t previously public. And ironically, the DOJ outed the alleged informants in the same case where White faces sanctions.

Indeed, attached to the DOJ’s motion to dismiss are unredacted records of White’s email correspondences with Paul Angel, the editor of americanfreepress.net. In those email exchanges disclosed by the DOJ, White named numerous alleged informants, including Robert Campbell, Michael Blevins, Hal Turner, Elisha Strom and Chris Drake.

After the DOJ disclosed the alleged FBI informants in its Sept. 26 motion to dismiss, White responded with a court filing that apparently discusses the same alleged informants. That filing from White was quickly stricken from the record, and U.S. District Judge Stephen McGlynn ordered the inmate to explain by Nov. 14 why he shouldn’t face sanctions.

In his Nov. 14 response, White informed the judge that he only named the alleged FBI informants because they were already disclosed by the DOJ.

The DOJ has not responded to White’s Nov. 14 filing, and Judge McGlynn has yet to rule on the matter.

DOJ Inspector General Not Investigating Civil Rights Abuse Complaints

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Section 1001 of the Patriot Act mandates the Justice Department’s Inspector General to review complaints of civil rights abuses from the public.

But while the DOJ Inspector General received 739 complaints during the last six months of 2023, none resulted in investigations being opened, according to an audit the DOJ-IG released earlier this month.

According to the audit, 717 of the complaints did not fall within the DOJ-IG’s jurisdiction or did not warrant further investigation. Those complaints involved allegations against agencies or entities outside the DOJ, “as well as allegations that were not suitable for investigation,” the audit said.

The remaining 22 complaints it received involved DOJ employees and included allegations that required further review. However, the DOJ-IG determined that 20 of the remaining complaints “generally raised management issues unrelated to the [DOJ-IG’s] Section 1001 duties.”

Examples of complaints in this category included allegations by federal prisoners about the general prison conditions, and by others that the FBI did not initiate an investigation into particular allegations, according to the report.

The remaining two complaints were from federal prisoners alleging civil rights abuses, but the DOJ-IG determined that these complaints “generally raised management issues.”

“During the period covered by this report, there were no investigations completed by the OIG or a DOJ component finding abuses of civil rights or civil liberties by a DOJ employee or official,” the report concluded.

The lack of DOJ-IG investigations comes despite the myriad of civil rights abuses that took place in the latter half of 2023—some of them documented by this publication.

In the Bureau of Prisons’ Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, for instance, civil rights abuses are so widespread that at least one federal judge has stopped sending low-risk inmates there.

The judge said MDC is “egregiously slow in providing necessary medical and mental health treatment to inmates—especially where such care requires the attention of outside providers.”

“It has become common for defense counsel to require court intervention to ensure that inmates receive basic care—and, even more shocking, not uncommon for court orders to go unheeded,” he said.

Don Lemon Fired Yet Again — This Time by Elon Musk

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Disgraced former CNN anchor Don Lemon seems unable to catch a break.

Lemon’s podcast partnership with Twitter has been terminated following a contentious interview with Elon Musk, who owns the social media platform.

The drama unfolded after Lemon cornered Musk during a pre-taped interview slated for a Twitter premiere on March 18. However, Musk, evidently displeased with Lemon’s line of questioning, instructed Twitter to end its partnership with Lemon.

This marks the second time Lemon has been fired by a major company. He was infamously fired by CNN after disturbing reports surfaced regarding his alleged “diva”-like behavior and inappropriate conduct while serving as a left-wing news anchor.

He broke the news of the termination himself on Wednesday. “Elon Musk has canceled the partnership I had with X, which they announced as part of their public commitment to amplifying more diverse voices on their platform,” Lemon claimed in a lengthy statement.

The fired CNN anchor suggested the contract’s termination may have been triggered by the interview.

“There were no restrictions on the interview that he willingly agreed to, and my questions were respectful and wide ranging, covering everything from SpaceX to the presidential election,” he wrote.

Lemon vowed to still release the purportedly contentious interview on March 18.

An official Twitter account rebutted Lemon’s claims in a separate post, stating that while they support free speech, they reserve the right to halt business decisions.

“X is a platform that champions free speech, and we’re proud to provide an open environment for diverse voices and perspectives,” the statement said.

“The Don Lemon Show is welcome to publish its content on X, without censorship, as we believe in providing a platform for creators to scale their work and connect with new communities,” the statement added.

In a preview of the interview shared during an Wednesday interview with CNN, Lemon is seen pressing Musk on whether he would increase censorship on the platform—which Musk acquired with a pledge to protect free speech amid widespread censorship of American voices.

Lemon specifically questioned Musk about allegations of the Great Replacement Theory and purported anti-Semitism. Despite these contentions, Lemon was apparently comfortable working with Musk for revenue sharing.

Top Israelis Accuse Biden of Attempting to Stage Netanyahu Coup

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) An anonymous but “very senior” Israeli official has accused U.S. President Joe Biden and U.S. intelligence agencies of attempting to force Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu out of office, the Times of Israel reported.

Responding to a United States intelligence report that Netanyahu’s administration “may be in jeopardy” due to its handling of the ongoing Hamas–Israel war, the official suggested that American officials may be attempting to meddle in Israeli elections.

The intelligence report also suggested that there was a great deal of “distrust” among Israelis regarding Netanyahu’s “ability to rule.”

“We expect large protests demanding his resignation and new elections,” the report continued. “A different, more moderate government is a possibility,” it continued.

Israeli officials did not take kindly to the report, accusing the Biden administration of getting out over its skis.

“Those who elect the prime minister of Israel are the citizens of Israel and no one else,” said the official in a statement, suggesting that the news report was merely an attempt to stir up trouble for Netanyahu.

According to the official, Israel is it’s own sovereign nation, not to be meddled with by the United States or other international powers.

“Israel is not a protectorate of the US but an independent and democratic country whose citizens are the ones who elect the government,” said the source. “We expect our friends to act to overthrow the terror regime of Hamas and not the elected government in Israel.”

For his part, Netanyahu has expressed public gratitude for Biden’s aid, which culminated in the passage of a large spending bill last month.

Netanyahu on Tuesday said that he “deeply appreciate[d] the support we have received from President Biden and the administration, and I hope it will continue,” but noted that “Israel will win this war, no matter what,” presumably alluding to growing internal pressure in America from the pro-Hamas Left.

In the Democratic primaries of several crucial swing states, large swaths of the Muslim population have voted “uncommitted” to convey their protest, despite Biden being the only candidate on the ballot considered a viable contender.

The pressure has led him publicly to ratchet up his rhetorinc and public attacks on the conservative Netanyahu, much as former President Barack Obama attempted to do during his presidency.

For Netanyahu, however, there may be more to gain politically from standing up to Biden’s demands than capitulating to them after the Oct. 7 atrocities helped win the embattled leader—who, at the time, faced a series of lawfare attacks from the Israeli courts—a public reprieve.

A storied war hero himself, “Bibi” has approached the mission in Gaza with a singular purpose, declaring that there is “no other option but total victory, and that victory is within reach.”

Hunter Backtracks Again; Rejects Public Hearing He Initially Requested

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Hunter Biden has formally declined an invitation to appear before a public impeachment hearing set for March 20, despite his months-long desire for such a public hearing.

Defense attorney Abbe Lowell voiced this rejection in a Wednesday letter to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., rebuking the hearing as a “carnival show” and “not a proper proceeding but an obvious attempt to throw a Hail Mary pass after the game has ended,” as reported by the New York Post.

Hunter Biden’s response came after House Republicans announced a public hearing to further expose the contradictions between the transcribed interviews of President Joe Biden’s son and those of his business partners.

Among those invited are Devon Archer, Tony Bobulinski and Jason Galanis, all of whom have revealing stories implicating Joe Biden in the contentious business dealings of his son

In response to Hunter’s invitation decline, Comer said, “Hunter Biden for months stated he wanted a public hearing, but now that one has been offered alongside his business associates that he worked with for years, he is refusing to come.”

The hearing is likely to be damaging for the Biden family, as the scheduled witnesses will reassess what they told lawmakers in separate behind-closed-door meetings: the business model of Hunter Biden was to sell access to the president.

Hunter Biden’s refusal to attend the new hearing is a stark departure from his previous demands.

He infamously defied a subpoena for a Dec. 13 deposition, opting instead to hold a highly dramatic press conference outside the Capitol. In the speech, he demanded what Republicans are now offering: a public hearing.

Hunter Biden ultimately yielded to threats of contempt of Congress charges and participated in a transcribed interview in private on Feb. 28.

The March 20 hearing is still scheduled to proceed.

NAACP Tells Black Athletes to Boycott Fla. Colleges

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has instructed black athletes to boycott Florida colleges and universities because of the recent de-funding of their diversity, equity and inclusion policies, ESPN reported.

Derrick Johnson, president and CEO of the NAACP, penned a letter to Charlie Baker, president of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, claiming that the NAACP’s stance was not political but rather a matter of safety and progress.

“This is not about politics,” he claimed. “It’s about the protection of our community, the progression of our culture, and most of all, it’s about your education, and your future.”

Despite claiming political neutrality, Johnson then proceeded to admit that the boycott was a direct response to the policies of Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who “has made no effort to conceal his administration’s devaluation of Black America.”

In 2023, DeSantis signed a bill into law prohibiting publicly funded entities from using state money for DEI initiatives. More immediately triggering the letter, however, was the University of Florida’s announcement that it would eliminate its DEI department as part of recent budget cuts.

“From racist voting policies, to unraveling reproductive freedoms and attempting to rewrite Black history, DeSantis has waged war on Black America” via his commitment to “anti-Black ideals,” Johnson claimed.

He urged all current and aspiring college student–athletes to “reconsider any potential decisions to attend, and compete at a predominantly white institution in the state of Florida.”

According to Johnson DEI policies “are paramount to ensuring equitable and effective educational outcomes,” without which education might be infused with racism or cultural biases that purportedly tend to work against black “student-athletes.”

RFK Jr. Generates Buzz about Celeb Running Mate, Fears about Potential Spoiler Effect

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. revealed Wednesday that he had chosen his vice presidential running mate and would reveal the choicesometime in the next two weeks.

Kennedy said he considered several different anti-vaccine candidates, including NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers and former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura, according to CNN.

RFK Jr. also reportedly considered former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii; Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.; and former Democrat presidential candidate Andrew Yang.

Motivational speaker Tony Robbins was also in the running for the job.

Kennedy met with several of the veep alternatives in the last few months, and even hosted a rally with Ventura in Arizona last month.

“We wanted somebody who was aligned with my values, optimistic about our country and its potential and able to run the country at a moment’s notice,” Kennedy said.

Paul indicated that had no interest in joining RFK’s presidential ticket.

“I’m supportive of his ability to have a platform to speak out,” Paul said in an interview. “I think he’s saying a lot of good things. But I have no plans to get involved in the campaign.”

Gabbard, who notably left the Democratic Party with great fanfare after becoming red-pilled by the Biden administration, has been floated as a possible name on former President Donald Trump’s shortlist, as well.

Though she was originally courted by the Kennedy campaign, she turned her attention to Republican presidential candidate after his Super Tuesday success, even hosting a fundraiser for him at Mar-a-Lago.

Rodgers and Ventura appeared to be the only two prospective candidates remaining.

An anonymous buyer registered the domain name kennedyrodgers.com using a GoDaddy host last week; the campaign team has yet to confirm the choice publicly.

Rodgers, 40, is a four-time MVP award recipient and Super Bowl winner, slated to start a new football season with the New York Jets this year. An injury in the season opener waylaid him all last season, his first with the new franchise, following a long career with the Green Bay Packers.

Since being outed during the COVID pandemic as a conscientious vaccine objector—a cause particularly dear to Kennedy’s heart—Rodgers has become more outspoken politically, regularly making podcast appearances to mock and criticize the Biden administration.

In addition to driving enthusiasm about his campaign, with prominent figures from the worlds of politics and elsewhere in the public sphere, the choice could have a significant impact on the 2024 election.

A more liberal pick would be apt to draw voters from President Joe Biden, while a conservative one would draw voters from Trump.

Although Kennedy is not expected to win the presidency, he still may have a potent spoiler effect, much as past third-party candidates Teddy Roosevelt (1912), George Wallace (1968), Ross Perot (1992) and Ralph Nader (2000), all of whom helped deliver the presidency to the non-incumbent party by splintering the party in power at the time.

Kennedy’s politics are decidedly more liberal than many of the names on his shortlist, who would effectively form a sort of anti-government coalition ticket, likely doing more harm to Trump.

Recent Fox News poll numbers from the battleground state of Pennsylvania showed Trump leading Biden by a narrow 2-point margin in a two-way race—until Kennedy enters the equation, leading Trump to lose about 7% of his voters and Biden to lose only 5%.

Kennedy likewise would take more votes from Trump in battleground Arizona, according to Fox News’s polling there.

According to the Kennedy campaign, the candidate will appear on the ballot in the states of Utah, New Hampshire, Nevada and Hawaii.

Super PAC American Values 2024, which is supporting Kennedy’s campaign, said he has enough signatures to get on the ballots in Arizona, Michigan, Georgia and South Carolina as well.

‘Burn It All Down’: Equity Officer for Md. City Endorsed Violence, Insulted White Colleagues

(Headline USA) In recently unearthed tweets, a local “equity officer” in Maryland publicly called for the destruction of the United States.

Kayla Aliese Carter, who was hired to be the City of College Park’s “racial equity officer” in 2022, oversees an entire team dedicated to implementing a diversity, equity, and inclusion  agenda across city departments—and she supports alarmingly radical means to accomplish this.

According to a review by Fox News of her now-unavailable social media her posts frequently featured violence .

In one tweet, she called for “black liberation” and said she was working with activists to plan “how we will eat and live and grow after we burn it all down.”

While it was not uncommon for some to get carried away with violent rhetoric during the heyday of Black Lives Matter race riots, when violent, racially charged protest was tacitly—if not openly—encouraged by many leftists institutions, including social-media platforms, Carter’s unhinged posts, often expressing overt racism, continued well past the point when doing so would have been socially forgivable or appropriate for a person of her professional stature.

“Why do Black people always have to rationalize our violence and anger?” she wrote in an Instagram post in February 2021. “Remember we are at war against colonialism. We can’t forget.”

The header for her Twitter account stated, “I can’t wait for society to collapse so MY ideology can rise from the ashes!”

In one tweet she wrote, “Do y’all understand why the oppressed are constantly shamed out of using violence?? BECAUSE THE OPPRESSOR WANTS TO BE THE SOLE PROFITEER OF VIOLENCE. THEY DON’T WANT TO DEAL WITH BACK TALK. ‘DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DO’ FACE A–. No.”

Carter also frequently used derogatory terms to describe her white colleagues, referring to them as “yT” people.

“This yT man in my meeting just said, ‘I want to take a moment and give the floor to any Black… participants to… tell us what MLK Day this year meant to you.’ I SWEAR I AM WHEEZING WHO HIRES THESE PEOPLE?” she wrote.

In 2021, she posted: “I hate when White children stare at me its literally terrifying so I just state [syc] back until they stop.”

Carter has also disparaged police officers as “white supremacists” and called for the abolition of law enforcement.

Slate Walloped w/ Viral Fact Check for Body-Shaming Buxom Starlet

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Leftist publication Slate was subjected to widespread ridicule, triggering a Community Note fact-check, following its release of a news article that criticized American actress Sydney Sweeney’s physique, specifically targeting her “boobs” as “not that big.”

The article pondered whether Sweeney’s popular appeal stemmed from her being “a tiny blond white woman.” Sweeney has gained popularity for her roles in HBO’s Euphoria and Sony Picture’s Madame Web.

In recent months, Sweeney has been lauded for both her acting prowess and her physical attributes, including her breasts. One of her most notable appearances was at the Oscars, where she wore what Slate described as a “Marilyn Monroe–inspired gown” that appeared to highlight her chest.

While fans celebrated Sweeney’s physique, Slate took a contrary path, chastising her breasts as “kind of average.”

Sweeney’s supporters swiftly rallied to her defense in response to Slate’s critique. One Slate tweet asserted, “It needs to be said: Sydney Sweeney’s boobs are not that big.” This statement ignited a Community Note that rebutted: “Yes, they are.”

Slate’s tweet, now marked with the fact-check, garnered over 3 million views, further fueling mockery directed at the news outlet.

At the heart of the backlash lies Slate’s scathing article, in which the author centered on Sweeney’s rising attention-grabbing body.

The article, written by features editor Shannon Palus, declared: “In Sydney Sweeney, America has rediscovered that women can have boobs.”

Pulus added: “So much has been made of her low-cut dress and now-infamous Hooters outfit that people are insisting she ‘brought boobs back’ and killed wokeness, and they were so buzzed-about this week that they’re now being used to spread malware.”

The article issued quickly added a disclaimer: “But here’s the thing: They’re not that big!”

Despite Slate’s attempts to diminish Sweeney’s physique, she has defended it, revealing that she once contemplated breast reduction.

“My mom told me, ‘Don’t do it. You’ll regret it in college,’” she told Glamour magazine in an interview. “And I’m so glad I didn’t. I like them. They’re my best friends. Everybody’s body is beautiful. When you are confident and you’re happy within is when it really shows to other people.”

REPORT: Top WH Official w/ Ties to Jill Biden Accused of Sexual Harassment, Bullying

(Headline USA) A top White House official who works so closely with first lady Jill Biden that he earned honorary “husband” status was accused this week of verbal sexual harassment and bullying that his supervisors had failed to address, leaving him to continue his reign of terror and help turn the executive mansion into a toxic workplace.

Anthony Bernal, a top aide to Jill Biden, allegedly has a history of making questionable and inappropriate comments to his colleagues, according to the New York Post.

For example, the openly gay staffer on multiple occasions speculated about the penis sizes of his colleagues, including political aides and Secret Service agents.

At one point, Bernal allegedly told a colleague he had a small penis during a dispute. On another occasion, he allegedly commented on a “staffer’s bulge in his khakis.”

“It was a lot of inappropriate remarks—talking about other people’s attractiveness and speculating about their sex lives at very weird moments,” a source in the Biden White House told the Post. “That’s actually sexual harassment.”

The staffers who leveled the accusations said this is not new behavior for Bernal. He allegedly made similar comments in previous roles in the Biden campaign and during Joe Biden’s vice presidency.

“I’m surprised it has taken this long for so many staffers to speak out,” a former top Biden aide said. “I wouldn’t be shocked if this empowered current and past staff to move forward.”

Some staffers, however, said they worried that Bernal was considered “untouchable” because of his close ties to Jill Biden, who reportedly viewed him as her “work husband.”

Another source said publicly leveling the allegations against Bernal could result in retaliation.

“Working for the Bidens is like living in another century. You really cannot speak up without fear of personal or professional retaliation,” the source explained.

Bernal “is by far the worst and most well-known abuser, but the Biden White House is a magnet for ugly and abusive workplace behavior,” the source added.

The White House defended Bernal in a statement, saying they were “confident” in his character.

“His many fans at the White House know him to be both gracious and tough, holding himself up to the highest standards, with a heart dedicated to public service,” White House chief of staff Jeff Zients told the Post. “It is disappointing that he is the target of unfounded attacks from unnamed sources.”
