Biden Says He Will Veto Bill Requiring Proof of Citizenship to Vote

(Headline USA) President Joe Biden announced this week that he will veto a bill that requires voters to provide proof of citizenship.

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act would amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to mandate that voters provide—and state officials verify—proof of citizenship when registering. The bill has the back of former President Donald Trump, but likely would fall flat in the Democrat-controlled Senate.

Regardless, even if the bill were to pass both chambers, Biden said this week that it would be dead on arrival.

“It is already illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal elections—it is a federal crime punishable by prison and fines,” the White House said in a statement on Monday. “The alleged justification for this bill is based on easily disproven falsehoods.”

The White House went on to argue that states “already have effective safeguards in place to verify voters’ eligibility and maintain the accuracy of voter rolls.”

It also claimed that the bill would only make it “much harder for all eligible Americans to register to vote and increase the risk that eligible voters are purged from voter rolls.”

Biden added, “The evidence is clear that the current laws to prevent noncitizen voting are working as intended—it is extraordinarily rare for noncitizens to break the law by voting in federal elections.”

Despite the claims from the left, there is strong evidence that noncitizen voting has become an increasingly serious problem.

Paired with the current credibility crisis that the Biden administration and its media allies are facing, the denial underscores what many suspect may be Democrats’ true motives to illegally import voters for the express purpose of facilitating voter fraud that will secure an election advantage in their favor.

Billionaire Elon Musk pointed out that if noncitizen voting weren’t an issue, Biden shouldn’t have a problem signing a bill that makes sure it stays that way. However, it’s obvious Biden is trying to make sure Democrats can stack their voter rolls with the millions of illegal immigrants he’s let into the country, Musk argued.

“The Democratic Party goal is to disenfranchise U.S. citizens by importing as many illegal immigrants as possible,” he said earlier this year. “Given the massive influx of illegal immigrants from every country on Earth, 2024 will probably be the last election actually decided by U.S. citizens.”

10% of Illegals Are Registered to Vote, Survey Says

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was revealed in a survey conducted by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project that 10% of illegal aliens and non-citizens who were asked by the group stated that they were registered to vote in the 2024 election.

“My fellow Americans, today we are calling on all of you to declare independence from foreigners deciding our elections. The evidence you are about to see relates to illegal aliens being registered to vote. This is a problem national in scale. The United States of America is for Americans, and our elections only should be decided by them,” Mike Howell, the Oversight Project’s executive director, said in a July 4, 2024, video.

Dozens of people who were living at a Charlotte, N.C., apartment complex were interviewed, Blaze Media reported. The complex was primarily occupied by illegals. A hidden camera captured several interviews with residents who said they were not American citizens who were, nevertheless, registered to vote.

The interviewees were told that they “come with a group, an organization that is trying to help register Hispanic people to vote” because “in a few months, [they] will be voting for governor or president.”

Anthony Rubin, the founder of Muckraker, said that the organization visited the apartment complex to “ask residents two questions: are you registered to vote and are you a citizen?”

“Shockingly, four of the 41 people we asked confirmed that they were non-citizens and registered to vote. If this proportion holds true nationwide, the integrity of the 2024 election is in jeopardy,” he said.

Howell also talked about the issue on Real America’s Voice’s The War Room.

John Deere Is Latest ‘Red’ Company Exposed for Wokeness

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) American manufacturing giant John Deere has been exposed for reportedly promoting leftist ideology, including diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and radical gender theory.

Podcast host and producer Robby Starbuck, who has exposed companies for promoting leftist ideologies, has turned his attention to John Deere. Previously, he had exposed Tractor Supply for endorsing gender change therapy for children, among other ideas.

John Deere, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery and outdoor equipment, has traditionally been adored by outdoorsmen and has a history of donating to Republicans. However, the company has been quietly aligning itself with leftist ideology, Starbuck suggested in an eight-minute video.

Starbuck reported how John Deere endorsed DEI, allegedly hosted Pride-related events for children, provided training on gender and preferred pronouns and has seen leftist billionaire Bill Gates become its largest shareholder.

“@JohnDeere has been one of the most beloved brands by conservative farmers but recently on CEO John May’s watch, they’ve gone woke,” he wrote Tuesday on Twitter.

John Deere’s website features a “Diversity Equity & Inclusion” page that echoes rhetoric commonly used by the left.

“We believe by strengthening the diversity of our workforce, we can give everyone their chance to leap forward,” the page read. “That’s why we celebrate diversity, champion equity, and promote inclusiveness so every employee can make the greatest impact as their true self.”

The site also reveals that John Deere funds segregated organizations for disabled, Asian, Black, Hispanic (referred to as “Latine,” an alternative to Latinx), women, Native or Indigenous and LGBTQ employees.

According to Starbuck, John Deere hosted a “Little Pride Run” for children as young as three. Starbuck argued that teaching sex to children, regardless of gender, is “weird” and “creepy.” Non-woke groups like Gays Against Groomers have also criticized such events.

Additionally, Starbuck accused John Deere of conducting a “gingerbread” training session, where Spanish-speaking employees were trained on “biological sex” and “gender identity,” according to a photo he shared.

Starbuck suggested that much of John Deere’s leftist initiatives appear on LinkedIn, seemingly to avoid direct criticism.

In one post, John Deere emphasized the importance of listening, understanding and accepting to “be more open,” accompanied by a photo featuring a pride flag.

Starbuck’s accusations come after widespread condemnation forced Tractor Supply to abolish DEI roles and retreat from its leftist campaigns. DEI has been criticized as a leftist tactic to discriminate against specific classes while appearing more diverse.

Pentagon: Nukes Program Must Proceed, Despite 81% Budget Overshot

(Headline USA) The new Sentinel nuclear weapons program is 81% over budget and is now estimated to cost nearly $141 billion, but the Pentagon is moving forward with the program, saying that given the threats from China and Russia it does not have a choice.

The Northrop Grumman Sentinel program is the first major upgrade to the ground-based component of the nuclear triad in more than 60 years and will replace the aging Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile.

It involves not only building a new missile but the modernization of 450 silos across five states, their launch control centers, three nuclear missile bases and several other testing facilities.

The expansiveness of the program previously raised questions from government watchdogs as to whether the Pentagon could manage it all.

Military budget officials on Monday said when they set the program’s estimated costs their full knowledge of the modernization needed “was insufficient in hindsight to have a high-quality cost estimate,” Bill LaPlante, under secretary of defense for acquisition and sustainment, told reporters on a call.

The high cost overrun triggered what is known as a Nunn–McCurdy breach, which occurs if the cost of developing a new program increases by 25% or more. By statute, the under secretary of defense for acquisition then must undertake a rigorous review of the program to determine if it should continue; otherwise the program must be terminated.

“We fully appreciate the magnitude of the costs, but we also understand the risks of not modernizing our nuclear forces and not addressing the very real threats we confront,” LaPlante said.

The Nunn–McCurdy review determined that the majority of the cost growth is in Sentinel’s command-and-launch segment, which includes the extensive communications and control infrastructure that allows missile launch officers, who serve on alert 24 hours or more in underground launch centers, to connect to the silo-based missiles and fire them if ordered.

The program will be restructured, La Plante said. Some of the modernization that was planned for the launch facilities will be scaled back and some of the ambitious replacement of a whole network of underground cabling known as Hicks cables may be revised in favor of some more affordable alternatives.

The increased cost will also eventually be offset by cuts to other programs, said Gen. Jim Slife, Air Force vice chief of staff. However, the Air Force assesses that the majority of the cost increases to the Sentinel program will take place outside of the next five fiscal years of budget planning, meaning no difficult choices on program cuts will need to be made immediately.

Prosecutor: Menendez’s Behavior ‘Wildly Abnormal’ in Response to Bribes

(Headline USA) A prosecutor accused Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., on Tuesday of engaging in “wildly abnormal” behavior in response to bribes during a closing argument at the Democrat’s New York City corruption trial.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul Monteleoni made the accusation as he continued a summation he began a day earlier before a Manhattan federal court jury.

Menendez, 70, has pleaded not guilty to charges that he accepted bribes including gold and hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash from 2018 to 2022 from three New Jersey businessmen who wanted his help in their business ventures.

His trial entered its ninth week on Monday. His lawyer was expected to begin a closing argument on the New Jersey senator’s behalf later on Tuesday.

Menendez is on trial with two of the businessmen—Wael Hana and Fred Daibes. Hana, who prosecutors say enlisted Menendez to help him gain and protect a monopoly on the certification of meat exported from the U.S. to Egypt, and Daibes, an influential real estate developer, have also both pleaded not guilty. A third businessman pleaded guilty and testified at the trial.

Early Tuesday, Monteleoni highlighted what he described as Menendez’s attempt to influence former New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal in early 2019 to drop a criminal case on behalf of one of the bribe-paying businessmen with a false claim that investigators were discriminating against Hispanic truckers.

Grewal, now head of enforcement for the Securities and Exchange Commission, testified during the trial that he firmly rejected Menendez’s efforts to intervene in criminal probes by directing him to tell a New Jersey defense lawyer already involved in the case to register any complaints with a judge or the trial team.

The encounters with Grewal were cited by Monteleoni as examples of things Menendez did that the prosecutor said “were wildly abnormal.”

“Menendez is smart. Menendez is careful,” Monteleoni said, noting that the senator claimed discrimination in the trucking industry rather than directly asking that an investigation be shut down because he knew the latter would be wrong.

He said claiming discrimination gave Menendez deniability if anyone ever accused him of trying to pressure New Jersey’s attorney general to drop a probe.

In reality, though, Menendez made the approaches to Grewal in return for a new Mercedes–Benz that the businessmen promised would be delivered to his then-girlfriend, Nadine Arslanian, who became his wife in fall 2020, Monteleoni said.

Nadine Menendez, 57, also is charged in the case, but her trial has been postponed while she recovers from breast cancer surgery.

Menendez has resisted calls, even by some prominent Democrats, that he resign, though he did have to relinquish his powerful post as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee after the charges were unveiled last fall.

Several weeks ago, Menendez filed to run for reelection this year as an independent.

REPORT: Biden Skipped Meeting w/German Chancellor to Go to Bed

(Headline USA) President Joe Biden skipped a meeting with the German chancellor during a June 2022 G7 event to go to bed early, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Biden’s team had scheduled a meeting between the president and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the early evening, but Scholz ended up only meeting with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who told Scholz that Biden had decided to go to bed.

Ironically, Scholz and the other German officials had agreed to schedule the original meeting with Biden earlier in the evening because they knew Biden tired quickly, according to two sources familiar with the meeting.

While Biden showed no signs of cognitive decline during his meetings throughout the day, by the evening it was clear he was worn down, the sources added.

A State Department spokesperson denied the report, saying Blinken had never been candid in so many words about Biden’s reasons for missing the meeting.

“That is absolutely not accurate,” said the spokesperson. “Secretary Blinken never said that or anything like it.”

A White House official also issued a statement denying the allegations, insisting that Biden discussed both international and domestic matters at length during the 2022 G7, and that he wrapped up one night at 10 p.m.

It is not the first time Biden has ridden out an awkward scandal involving a German chancellor and the G7 summit.

In February, he recounted a story about what was, ostensibly, a meeting with then-Chancellor Angela Merkel at the 2021 summit. However, Biden confused the female leader with her Reagan-era predecessor, Helmut Kohl, who presided over the fall of the Berlin Wall.

“…Then, Helmut Kohl of Germany looked at me and said, ‘What would you say, Mr. President, if you picked up the London Times tomorrow morning and learned that 1,000 people had broken down the doors, the doors of the British Parliament and killed some [people] on the way in [to] deny the prime minister to take office?’” Biden recounted during a New York fundraiser.

Biden also claimed in February to have spoken recently with long-dead former French President François Mitterrand.

The new Journal report comes amid increased media scrutiny over Biden’s mental acuity. Administration officials, including Blinken, have been quick to defend the 81-year-old president, even as others within the Democratic Party call for Biden to abandon the 2024 ticket.

Last week, Blinken insisted that foreign allies would not be dissuaded from supporting Biden despite his disastrous debate performance against former President Donald Trump.

“They’ve seen a president who’s reinvested America, reinvested America in the world, reinvested in these alliances, in these partnerships in ways that they seek and want,” Blinken said.

Biden has also rebuffed calls for him to step aside, telling ABC’s George Stephanopolous last week that he would only end his bid for reelection if the “Lord Almighty” told him to.

Biden Re-Hires Disgraced Media Bully to Hector NYTimes Columnist over Gaffe

(Headline USA) New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd accused the White House this week of pressuring her to edit a recent gaffe by President Joe Biden.

In a column on Sunday headlined, “Joe Biden, in the Goodest Bunker Ever,” Dowd detailed an exchange between herself and the Biden campaign after she cited a comment Biden made to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos last week.

Stephanopolous had asked Biden how he would feel if he stayed in the race and former President Donald Trump won November’s election.

“As long as I gave it my all and I did the goodest job as I know I can do, that’s what this is about,” Biden replied.

In its transcript of the interview, ABC News changed Biden’s quote to read, “I did the good as job as I know I can do.”

Dowd, however, used the original quote in her column following Biden’s ABC interview. After it published, Dowd revealed she received an email from T.J. Ducklo, a Biden campaign spokesman, who asked her to “tweak” the quote from Biden to make her reporting “consistent with the corrected transcript” from ABC.

Dowd acknowledged that “goodest isn’t a word,” but said she and her researcher listened to footage of Biden making the comment with “our ears up against the computer, 10 times, and that’s what it sounded like.”

Dowd told Ducklo she’d discuss the correction request with her editor, to which Ducklo reportedly responded, “Yeah again, it’s not what I think. It’s what ABC News, who conducted the interview, thinks. I think it would be quite unusual if the Times asserted the president said something that the news organization who conducted the interview says he didn’t say.”

Dowd said she then asked Ducklo if ABC updated its transcript at the behest of the White House.

“ABC News, like any news organization, makes their own independent editorial decisions,” he claimed. “Surely you are not suggesting otherwise.”

Dowd went on to blast Biden’s team, arguing her exchange with Ducklo is a “harbinger of tense times between a White House in bunker mode and a press corps in ferret mode. … Maybe the White House should think about closed captioning,” she added.

While the Biden debate scandal has left a black mark both on Democratic operatives and the complicit mainstream media that kowtowed to their demands (in stark contrast to the treatment of the prior Trump administration), the use of Ducklo to hector journalists is particularly egregious.

He was previously forced off Biden’s White House communications staff for similar conduct after making “abhorrent and disrespectful” comments to a female Politico reporter including threatening to “destroy” her.

His bullying tactics, early in Biden’s administration, marked the only known instance of Biden holding staff accountable under the high ethical standards he outlined at the beginning of his term.

However, the rehiring of Ducklo suggests that even the low bar that his White House has adhered to may have sunk even lower with his campaign staff.

Plan for ‘Blitz Primary’ to Remove Biden Revealed, Involves Obamas, Clintons, Taylor Swift, Oprah

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Democratic advisors decided to launch a “blitz primary” in case Joe Biden is forced to step aside in the coming days, with the Obama family, Clinton family, Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey being involved in the event.

Advisors to former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton explained in the memo discovered by Semafor how the Democratic Party could select its best Joe Biden alternatives, considering that it is quite possible the 81-yer-old man won’t be able to spend another four years in the White House due to him being too old and senile.

The news source reported that the potential candidates would need to adhere to a lengthy list of requirements, among which are just a few days to throw their hats in the ring, not attack one another and seek votes from pledged Democratic delegates rather than repeating divisive and expensive state primary elections.

According to the two authors who wrote the memo, if Biden steps down, he would be seen as a “modern-day George Washington” in the eyes of voters.

“We can limp to shameful, avoidable democracy-ending defeat. Or Democrats can make this Our Finest Hour. While we hope for help from Lord Almighty, the Lord helps those who help themselves,” the authors of the memo wrote.

The only reason why godless leftists decided to include the Lord in the memo was because Biden said during the recent interview with ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos that only the “Lord Almighty” could force him from the race.

“We need to act. Now,” the authors of the memo wrote.

Former first lady Michelle Obama, Oprah, Swift, and other America-hating leftists will also participate in the “blitz” primary.

After a string of public appearances, the candidates would go to the Democratic National Convention in the middle of August where delegates would use a rank-choice voting system to select the party’s nominee.

Biden Pushes Fake Anti-Trump Website after Decrying ‘Russian Disinfo’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden promoted a website linking former President Donald Trump to Project 2025, but there was a major problem: the website is fake and not created by Trump.

On Monday, Biden took to Twitter to accuse Trump of “trying to hide his extreme Project 2025 agenda” and directed users to the website TrumpsProject2025.com.

However, this site distorts the principles and proposals of Project 2025, an initiative led by the Heritage Foundation with no association to Trump or his campaign, Headline USA can confirm.

The so-called Project 2025 website is merely a landing page with a revealing banner at the bottom: “PAID FOR BY BIDEN FOR PRESIDENT.” Biden’s fake website was first busted by popular Twitter page called “Amuse.”

Ironically, Biden’s promotion of the fake website comes just days after the Biden-led FBI seized two domain websites allegedly used by “Russian actors” to disseminate so-called disinformation in the U.S.

In a press statement, Attorney General Merrick Garland and his deputy, Lisa Monaco, claimed that fake websites threaten democracy—except, it seems, when it’s Biden’s doing.

“With these actions, the Justice Department has disrupted a Russian-government backed, AI-enabled propaganda campaign to use a bot farm to spread disinformation in the United States and abroad,” Garland boasted.

Monaco added, “We will not hesitate to shut down bot farms, seize illegally obtained internet domains, and take the fight to our adversaries.”

Biden’s attack on Project 2025 followed Trump’s clarification on Friday that, while the initiative is led by conservatives and some former members of his administration, it is not led spearheaded by him.

“I know nothing about Project 2025,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them.”

Heritage President Dr. Kevin Roberts also clarified that the conservative think tank launched the project without political agenda, as it is a 501(c)(3).

Nonetheless, Biden continues to try to associate Trump with the project. This tactic is unsurprising given that Biden is desperately trying to save face amid growing calls from his own party to step down as their nominee for president.

The Democrats’ concerns are fueled by Biden’s cognitive decline, which leaves him struggling to defend his record coherently and prone to countless and baffling gaffes.

Pentagon’s $320 Million Gaza Pier Boondoggle to be Shuttered Permanently

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The $320 million pier built by the U.S. military to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza will be reinstalled Wednesday to be used for several days, but then the plan is to pull it out permanently, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.

The officials said the goal is to clear whatever aid has piled up in Cyprus and on the floating dock offshore and get it to the secure area on the beach in Gaza. Once that has been done, the Army will dismantle the pier and depart. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because final details are still being worked out.

The Gaza pier is one of the larger boondoggles in Joe Biden’s scandal-plagued administration.

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., who monitored the Gaza pier project from its beginning, did some number crunching last month on the house floor.

“At a cost of $320 MILLION, we can only use it to deliver 7,000 metric tons of food. This means EACH POUND costs American taxpayers $20,730 dollars! Remember that the next time you think your grocery bills are too high under Joe Biden,” he said on Twitter last month.

While Gaetz’s point still stands, he may have misspoke when he said only 7,000 tons of food can be delivered over three months. Pentagon officials have claimed that more than 19.4 million pounds of food has gotten into Gaza via the pier.

If there’s any silver lining to the failed pier project, it’s that U.S. troops will no longer be in harm’s way once it’s gone for good. The project has been hampered by persistent heavy seas and stalled deliveries due to ongoing security threats as Israeli troops continue their offensive against Hamas in Gaza.

The Pentagon had previously warned that the pier could lead to the U.S. military being directly involved in the Israel-Hamas conflict. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin admitted as much during a congressional budget hearing last month, when Gaetz expressed concerns that the 1,000 US troops operating just off the coast of Gaza are prime targets for Hamas.

“Don’t you think that’s boots on the ground? President Biden told the country we weren’t going to have boots on the ground in Gaza,” Gaetz said. “You guys seem to be sort of saying that boots on a pier connected to the ground connected to servicemembers shooting into Gaza doesn’t count as boots on the ground.”

A staging area for the pier had recently come under mortar fire at the time of Gaetz’s remarks.
