Dems Dig In to Defend Against Haitian Accusations, Melt Down Over Cute Memes

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A Democrat lawmaker and the Biden administration have rushed to counter growing allegations that Haitian nationals are targeting pets for consumption in Ohio.

Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., appeared visibly shaken during a congressional hearing as he displayed AI-generated photos of President Donald Trump hugging animals.

The photos were intended as a jest, implying that Trump would protect pets from those accused of targeting them. (More on this below).

Similarly, White House National Security spokesperson John Kirby called the accusations “dangerous” because of their potential incitement to violence, later adding, “It needs to stop.”

“What’s deeply concerning to us is you’ve got now elected officials in the Republican Party pushing yet another conspiracy theory that’s just seeking to divide people based on lies and — let’s be honest — based on an element of racism,” Kirby said, according to several outlets.

Kirby’s remarks followed growing concerns in Springfield, Ohio, that some Haitian nationals may be snatching pets for consumption.

While several media outlets have dismissed the accusations as false, a resident raised the alarm during a public hearing and at least two people have filed police reports citing similar complaints.

This has prompted some Republicans to flood social media with AI-generated photos joking about Trump pledging to protect animals from individuals seeking to eat them.

Swalwell displayed one of the photos shared by the Republican-run X page of the House Judiciary Committee.

“What in the hell is this?” Swalwell said, highlighting the mee. “The chairman tweets ‘Protect our ducks and kittens in Ohio’ because he goes down some crazy rabbit hole, completely debunked that aliens are eating pets? My God. Are you okay, Mr. Chairman?”

The accusations have prompted Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost to take action, aiming to block the Biden-Harris administration from facilitating the entry of illegal aliens into local communities.

In the Dominican Republic, Haiti’s neighboring country, some Haitian nationals have been accused of killing cats for consumption.

A video reported by Noticias SIN, a local news channel, shows neighbors confronting a Haitian man who admitted to killing a cat with a wooden stick to cook it.

In 2023, former Dominican presidential candidate Abel Martínez also accused Haitians of “eating cats and snakes” to save money.

Unrelated to these allegations, the Biden administration’s current defense of Haitians contrasts sharply with comments made by Biden in 1994 about Haiti.

“If Haiti — a God-awful thing to say — just quietly sunk into the Caribbean, or rose up 300 feet, it wouldn’t matter a whole lot in terms of our interests,” Biden said in response to criticism about not assisting Haiti as much as he did Bosnia.

ABC News Coverage Is 100% Positive of Kamala, 93% Negative of Trump

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Right before the ABC News debate, the Media Research Center discovered in its study that the network’s flagship primetime news show, World News Tonight, has always praised Kamala Harris and almost always criticized Donald Trump, highlighting the blatant bias of the far-left network.

MRC analysts studied every campaign story aired on the news show from July 21, 2024, the day Harris entered the race, to Sept. 6, 2024, and discovered that every statement by ABC News anchors, reporters, voters and other “nonpartisan” sources about Harris and her campaign were “clearly positive.”

“That computes to a gravity-defying 100% positive spin score for the vice president,” the news source stated.

As expected, ABC News has been very critical of Trump. The study found that over the same period of time, the network’s World News Tonight aired only five “clearly positive” comments about Trump, compared to 66 negative comments.

These results indicated that while 100% of the comments about Harris were positive, a shocking 93% of comments about Trump were negative.

“Our measure of good press/bad press omits partisan comments, as well as ‘horse race’ assessments about the candidates’ poll standings and prospects. So, while viewers of ABC’s World News Tonight certainly heard negative comments about Harris during these past six-and-a-half weeks, all of them were from Trump, his campaign team, or other Republicans — never from reporters or nonpartisan sources,” the news source added.

MRC then continued exposing the explicit bias of the network against Trump.

“At the same time, while our spin score similarly excludes all Democratic soundbites about the Republican nominee, ABC’s reporters and anchors either jumped in to criticize Trump themselves or broadcast negative comments from non-partisan sources to impart a heavily negative spin to the former President’s coverage,” the news source wrote.

According to MRC, the network also refused to acknowledge that Harris is a far-left ideologue, instead deciding to call her a “liberal,” even though socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., previously said that Harris is a left-wing radical.

Trump Dominates Three-Way Debate—Jabs at Harris, Clashes w/ Biased Moderators

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Donald Trump emerged victorious in the ABC News presidential debate against Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday, immediately launching a full-scale attack on his opponent’s talking points.

Throughout the debate, watched fully by Headline USA, Trump not only engaged with Harris but also clashed with the left-leaning ABC moderators, who delivered dubious fact-checks. Harris, in contrast, came off as overly rehearsed, robotic and inauthentic in her responses.

Trump Corners Harris on Abortion

Trump wasted no time cornering Harris on the contentious issue of abortion. Referring to her as a “Marxist” lacking any substantial policy proposals, Trump zeroed in on late-term abortion.

“Will she allow abortion in the 8th month, 9th month, 7th month,” Trump challenged, as Harris conveniently dodged the question “Would you do that? Why don’t you ask her that question.”

Harris remained mum, lowering her eyes to scribble notes, seemingly trying to recall pre-written talking points. Her failure to address the question stood out as a recurring pattern throughout the debate.

Harris’s Memorized Attacks Fall Flat

Harris attempted to go on the offensive against Trump with rehearsed political jabs, often missing their mark. Trump constantly mocked and trolled her for most of the debate.

In one exchange, Trump sarcastically said he would send Harris a “MAGA” in response to Harris co-opting some of his signature policy proposals, including building a border wall and abolishing taxes on tips.

On other occasions, Harris plotted to bait Trump into irrelevant discussions in an apparent bid to skip talking about what policies she supports.

Trump Trolls Biden and Harris Over the Border

Trump’s humor then targeted both Harris and his embattled boss, President Joe Biden. He urged Harris to pause the debate, fly back to Washington and wake Biden to sign a bill closing the southern border.

“The president of the United States, you will get him out the bed, you’ll wake him up in 4’oclock in the afternoon and you’d say, ‘Come on, come on down to the office let’s sign bill,” Trump joked, mocking Biden’s reported inability to work efficiently after sundown.

Irony in Harris’s Accusations of Weaponizing Justice

Trump grinned when Harris accused him of planning to weaponize the justice system to target political enemies if elected.

Trump quickly retorted by highlighting the irony: Harris serves as vice president in an administration that appointed a special counsel to prosecute Trump, namely her political opponent.

ABC News Moderators’ Dubious Fact-Checks

Throughout the debate, Harris wasn’t Trump’s only opponent. ABC News anchors David Muir and Linsey Davis frequently interrupted Trump with fact-checks that ranged from dubious to outright fake.

One such moment came when Davis claimed that no state allows babies to be killed after birth. However, data reviewed by The Daily Signal revealed that babies have been left to die in botched abortions in Minnesota, the state governed by Harris’s running mate, Tim Walz.

Similarly, Muir incorrectly dismissed reports that pets had gone missing in Ohio amid the arrival of thousands of Haitian nationals.

Residents have raised alarm about Haitians potentially snatching pets for consumption in testimony to lawmakers.

These concerns were enough to prompt Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost to launch an investigation into ways to block the Biden-Harris administration from transporting illegal aliens into Ohio cities.

Iran Could Create Nuclear Bomb Before Biden Leaves Office

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) U.S. foreign policy experts recently stated that Iran could build a functional nuclear weapon ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

“Iran may seek to establish a nuclear fait accompli before the next administration takes office in January 2025, especially if Iran perceives the new administration to be more hawkish, unpredictable or otherwise less constrained,” the Foundation for Defense of Democracies think tank wrote in its recent assessment about Tehran’s potential creation of an atomic bomb.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that the assessment came after it was reported that Iran sought to influence the outcome of the upcoming election, including by targeting the Trump campaign. In August of this year, the campaign announced an Iranian hack when stolen materials were sent to propaganda outlets such as the New York Times and the Washington Post.

The news source also stated that American intelligence officials previously said that Tehran opposes Trump returning to the White House, just as it did in 2020. The far-left Kamala Harris, the current Democratic presidential nominee, opposed Trump’s decision to withdraw from the 2015 nuclear deal.

“[Iran is already in] the process of significantly advancing its nuclear weapons program in the coming weeks while Americans are preoccupied with politics at home and Israel is busy battling Hamas and Hezbollah,” regional analysts tracking the situation said.

According to the news source, “[the tyrannical Muslim regime] has been furiously enriching uranium, the key fuel for a bomb, at several contested military sites hidden from international inspectors.

It was reported that Iran is already on the “threshold” of a nuclear bomb. The regime needs one week to fuel its first warhead and a month for seven more — work that already has regional analysts warning that the Middle East is on the cusp of a “nuclear Oct. 7th.”

Iran currently has the technical ability and resources needed to fuel 13 nuclear bombs in just four months, which is something that happened under the Biden-Harris administration.

Trump Urges GOP to Shut Down Govt. if There Is No Election Integrity

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) On Sept. 10, 2024, Donald Trump urged congressional Republicans to shut down government this fall if a short-term spending measure and election integrity reforms are not passed.

The Daily Wire reported that Trump’s demand came as the Republican-controlled U.S. House is considering a continuing resolution that would provide funding for the federal government for six months (until March 28, 2025) and institute the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act.

“If Republicans in the House and Senate don’t get absolute assurances on Election Security. THEY SHOULD, IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM, GO FORWARD WITH A CONTINUING RESOLUTION ON THE BUDGET. THE DEMOCRATS ARE TRYING TO ‘STUFF’ VOTER REGISTRATIONS WITH ILLEGAL ALIENS. DON’T LET IT HAPPEN – CLOSE IT DOWN!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The SAVE Act, which passed the House in July 2024 with bipartisan support but was never approved by the Democrat-controlled Senate, aims to require that people show proof of American citizenship to register to vote in elections for federal office and pushes states to remove non-Americans from voter rolls.

To oppose the SAVE Act, leftists said that it is unnecessary and would create an undue burden on legitimate voters. However, House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., earlier this year, released a white paper in favor of the measure.

Johnson also warned about a National Voter Registration Act “loophole” in which states do not ask for proof of citizenship when registering an individual to vote in federal elections and cited evidence of non-Americans appearing on voter rolls in states like Massachusetts, Ohio and Virginia.

The news source reported that the SAVE Act probably won’t be passed since leading Democrats and even some establishment Republicans in Congress have opposed it. However, even if the House and the Democratic-controlled Senate passed the plan, the White House said on Sept. 9, 2024, that Joe Biden would veto it.

MURDOCK: Cuomo Should Burn in Hell for His Trump-Hating

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) No corner of Hell is fiery enough to give former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, D-N.Y., the roasting he deserves.

Engineering thousands of deaths was not enough. Now he deceptively blames his lethal sins on someone who offered help: President Donald J. Trump.

Ahead of his testimony on Tuesday before the House COVID subcomittee, Cuomo—who resigned in August 2021 after sexually harassing 13 women—slithered out of his well-earned oblivion and appeared in Sunday’s New York Daily News:

“The United States lost 1.2 million people” to COVID, Cuomo wrote.

Why? “Trump recklessly and negligently politicized COVID” Cuomo claimed. “It was a complete failure of Trump’s leadership.”

The COVID deaths of nearly 13,000 Empire State nursing-home (NH) occupants were the predictable consequences of Cuomo’s decisions—not Trump’s.

On March 25, 2020, Cuomo’s Health Department ordered: “No resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the NH solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19.”

Cuomo forbade evaluating seniors for COVID. His directive continued: “NHs are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized resident who is determined medically stable to be tested for COVID-19 prior to admission or readmission.”

Physicians immediately warned that Cuomo’s imperative would kill.

The American Medical Directors Association declared on March 26: “Unsafe transfers will increase the risk of transmission in post-acute and long-term care facilities which will ultimately only serve to increase the return flow back to hospitals, overwhelming capacity, endangering more healthcare personnel, and escalating the death rate.”

Team Cuomo replied: “Obey!”

The New York Post detailed the aftermath: Local hospitals steered 70 COVID sufferers into Harlem’s Terrence Cardinal Cooke home in April. By May 8, COVID-19 had killed 32 tenants. Hospitals delivered 19 COVID survivors to Staten Island’s Carmel Richardson facility. By May 8, the virus had whacked 56 inhabitants.

“The state forced us to bring in these sick people,” a nurse at Long Island’s Luxor Nursing and Rehabilitation told the Post. “We had no choice, but we’re not happy about it here.”

Cuomo denied rest homes’ protective-gear requests. “Not our job,” Cuomo snapped.

Until April 30—Day 48 of the crisis—Cuomo even let COVID-positive staffers work inside elder centers.

By Jan. 19, 2021—coincidentally, Trump’s last full day in the White House—Cuomo’s edicts had killed 12,743 assisted-living dwellers.

These were 46.3% more fatalities than the 8,711 reported perished in the state Health Department’s cooked books.

In contrast to Cuomo’s stupid, unnecessary, and fatal judgments, Trump offered Cuomo three lifesaving options:

First, Trump sped the 1,000-bed floating hospital USNS Comfort to Manhattan’s Pier 90 on March 30, 2020—five days after Cuomo’s decree. Cuomo could have quarantined COVID-positive seniors in Comfort’s 500 pandemic-grade berths until they tested negative, and then sent them to elder institutions.

Alas, Cuomo neglected the vessel. Only 182 checked in before Comfort steamed back to Norfolk, Virginia, that April 30.

Second, 12 blocks south, Trump transformed the Javits Center into a 3,000-bed pop-up hospital. Only 1,094 people arrived before it closed that May 1.

Donny Tuchman, CEO of Cobble Hill Health, begged to send COVID-positive individuals to Comfort or Javits that April 9. Cuomo’s Health Department said, Nyet.

“I was told those facilities were only for hospitals” to refer patients, Tuchman told the Post. Never mind that only 62 of Comfort’s berths were full that day, as were just 134 of Javits’s 1,000 COVID-ready beds.

Third, Trump’s close coordination with private industry yielded much of the masks, gowns, gloves, and other protective gear that Cuomo complained it was “not our job” to supply.

Cuomo should beg forgiveness for his toxic boneheadedness. Instead, he takes zero responsibility for elder-killing policy blunders.

Now, as Election Day looms, Cuomo slams Donald J. Trump, the man who tried to avoid this mayhem and keep older Americans alive long enough to enjoy another Christmas or Hanukkah. Conversely, Cuomo bullied seniors into premature graves.

Andrew Cuomo should do his pushups. That should make it easier for him to spend eternity shoveling coal into Satan’s furnaces.

1995 Video of Kamala w/ Lover Willie Brown Goes Viral: ‘Are You His Daughter’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A newly unearthed video from 1995 captured the exact moment Kamala Harris, then a young state prosecutor, was asked if she was the daughter of the much older man with whom she had an affair.

The video, first re-published by X page End Wokeness on Tuesday, shows a young Harris at an event standing beside Willie Brown, the newly elected San Francisco mayor at the time. The two were romantically involved until late 1995 or early 1996.

“Excuse me, are you his daughter?” an unidentified individual asked Harris, prompting an awkward smile from the now-vice president, who responded, “No, I’m not.”

According to the Daily Mail and the Daily Wire, the clip is part of a larger ABC News special on Brown, a powerful Democrat, chronicling his rise to the mayorship of San Francisco in 1995.

“He’s rogue, all right! Notorious for his flamboyant lifestyle, flashy clothes, fancy parties, fine women,” the narrator said, before cutting to Harris, “and fast cars.”

The clip later showed Brown at a podium, with Harris and others beside him, celebrating his 1995 election victory as San Francisco mayor.

“You should from now on address me as ‘The Mayor!’” Brown shouted, eliciting applause and laughter from the crowd, including Harris.

Brown went on to win re-election in 2000, with his tenure as mayor preceding his decades as a member of the California State Assembly—the legislative body he would lead as speaker from 1980 to 1995.

Harris’s relationship with Brown has remained a point of contention, with critics questioning whether nepotism played a role in her political ascent in the 1990s. Democrats argue that such scrutiny stems from sexism and misogyny.

During their controversial relationship, Brown appointed Harris to two powerful state commissions, described at the time as “patronage” jobs.

It wasn’t until after these appointments that Harris successfully ran for San Francisco district attorney in 2003. She held this position until 2011 when she ran and won the race for California attorney general.

By 2017, Harris was a U.S. senator, eventually becoming Joe Biden’s running mate in 2020. She is now running for president in 2024.

Harris’s ascent to the Democratic nomination has brought Brown back into the spotlight, prompting him to give several interviews and reminisce about their past relationship.

SELLERS: Beware the Racially Charged ‘October Surprise’

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) The reactions to a viral video showing NFL star Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, being pulled over, yanked from his car and put in handcuffs just three hours prior to Sunday’s season-opener have been predictably mixed.

For many, the first reaction may be confusion: What is this? Why am I watching it? Why are these officers of the law behaving in such a way? What happened prior to this that elicited such a robust response from law enforcement?

It helps, of course, if one is aware that the suspect is a high-profile, wealthy and influential sports star, not just some showboat driving around in a flashy, $350,000 McLaren 720S.

It helps even more if one is already aware that Hill allegedly was pulled over for speeding past the two motorcycle patrol officers at 60 mph on an access road not far from Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, where the officers were likely assisting in directing game-day traffic.

Hill was rumored, in fact, to have been going considerably faster, around 100 mph, suggesting the charges against him were later reduced for strategic reasons. Some on social media went so far as to provide additional context regarding Hill’s less-than-upstanding character.

At any rate, while the video appears to make reference only to Hill not having his seatbelt on, this was not someone who was uncertain about what crime he had committed or who was being randomly profiled.

It may take a second or third viewing, along with a clearer understanding of the context, to begin to unpack the underlying motives and assign fault for what seems to be a routine traffic stop gone awry.

Then again, it may warrant an even deeper dive to really grasp the underlying motives, amid the backdrop of a no-holds-barred campaign season that follows in the wake of a four-year fever dream, in which very little of what we’ve been told has proven to be facially true.

‘DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO’

From what the video footage shows, Hill first instigates the cascading series of problems by reprimanding police for tapping on the window of his vehicle, then putting the windows back up.

“Don’t knock on my window like that” Hill says, while handing an officer his driver’s license.

“Why you have it up? I have to knock to let you know I am here,” replies the officer, later listed on the ticket as M. Batista, who appears to be Latino.

“Give me my ticket, bro, so I can go. I am gonna be late. Do what you gotta do,” Hill tells the officer.

Officer Danny Torres, Batista’s backup, is also heard identifying Hill by name, lest there be any confusion that they knew they were dealing with a player on the team.

Hill puts his tinted window back up at that point. He later told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins that he didn’t want to “create a scene” if fans entering the stadium were to walk by and recognize him.

Batista raps on the window again and instructs him to “keep it down.”

“Don’t tell me what to do,” Hill says.

“Keep the window down or I am going to get you out of the car. As a matter of fact, get out of the car,” Batista replies.

It is not until the officers escalate the situation—arguably disproportionately—by yanking him from the car and pinning him to the ground that Hill shifts to a more deferential tone.

“All right, bruh, take me to jail. Do what you gotta do,” he says while being handcuffed.

“We will,” says Torres.

‘WE DONE DID THE WALKS … SO WHAT’S NEXT?‘

Shortly thereafter, two other players—identified in a subsequent statement by the Miami Dolphins as Calais Campbell and Jonnu Smith—pulled up to the scene of the traffic stop, despite being told not to park there, and were equally uncooperative with the officers.

Nonetheless, the team accused the officers of “unnecessary force and hostility” and referred to their conduct as “despicable” in the statement, which implied that Hill and his teammates were entirely in the right.

“We will stand beside Tyreek and our players as they work to use their platform and this situation to make a positive impact in our community,” said the statement.”

Torres has since been suspended pending an internal investigation, while Hill has been emboldened to take a victory lap—which included an 80-yard-pass touchdown celebration making light of the episode.

He also wasted little time turning it political, with a Monday night appearance on CNN in which he vowed to use his “resources” for left-wing activism.

“We done tried it all, you know what I’m saying,” Hill told Collins.

“We done protests, we took a knee, we done did the walks, like, so what’s next?” he continued. “So right now, me and my wife, we’re right now brainstorming on ‘how we can be a part of this change?’… We wanna be able to change lives all the way across the world, not just Miami.”

If Hill were operating in good faith—if the facts all aligned on his side, as the leftist press would have one believe—then his measured and mild-mannered conduct in contrast with the volatile-seeming police might be inspiring.

But one has to consider the possibility also that this may be a Trojan horse: a staged event designed to mobilize black voters and other outraged leftists, both in Miami and across the nation, in favor of one of the most radically leftist—and incompetent—presidential candidates in modern memory.

While the defense is busy covering the diversion that the wide receiver creates, quarterback Kamala will be free to slip stealthily across the goal line.

A FAMILIAR PLAYBOOK

We have seen the same strategy trotted out too many times: from Trayvon Martin to Michael Brown to George Floyd—in which those charged with maintaining the safety and security of the public at large are baited by an uncooperative individual into overreacting during an already stressful—and sometimes life-or-death—situation.

However, the racial component, applied sheerly for political purposes, always succeeds in misdirecting casual news consumers by, first, baselessly attributing bigotry to the specific situation, and then using sweeping, dishonest generalizations to imply a broader issue that is unsupported by facts.

There are enough data points now to be able to predict what happens next: Hill’s run-in with the police is but the opening salvo to get the issue of black social-justice activism back on the radar. But that alone won’t be enough.

Indeed, if there were no other catalyzing event to waken the sleeping Black Lives Matter giant, it would almost look as if there had been progress since the 2020 race riots.

Since it would be risky to overdo it under a Democrat administration, in which Vice President Kamala Harris can still be implicated despite her best efforts, the next episode may not rise to George Floyd levels. However, the outrage factor will need to be proportionate to how poorly Harris is faring in the polls following Tuesday’s debate, with the sheen of her newly-minted astroturf campaign now beginning to fade.

It will likely happen in the blue city of a critical swing state—Philadelphia, Atlanta, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Charlotte—or preferably one with a Republican governor who can be tied to former President Donald Trump (e.g. Georgia’s Brian Kemp, given his new détente with the MAGA leader).

Nonetheless, it is worth keeping a watch on developments in the trial of Sean Grayson, the former Sangamon County, Illinois, police officer who was charged with killing Sonya Massey in a July 6 incident as the woman, who had done nothing but take a pot of water from her stove, was fatally shot in her home.

Grayson’s next hearing is scheduled for Oct. 21.

Although footage of the shooting was truly appalling, the timing and location (near Chicago, just weeks before the Democratic National Convention) may have helped it get buried initially. But as with the trial of Darren Wilson, who was acquitted in the August 2014 killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, an unsatisfactory verdict may also spark unrest.

One common thread between the 2014 Ferguson riots and the 2024 Kamala Harris campaign: the behind-the-scenes presence of former Attorney General Eric Holder, who looks to ease tensions in racially combustible tinderboxes with the surgical precision of a rubber mallet.

HAPPENSTANCE OR DESIGN?

Are these events staged specifically for the benefit of creating racial strife, or is it more likely that the media will simply cherry-pick stories that fit the narrative and then blow them out of proportion? Maybe both. While I have my own suspicions, I don’t have the evidence to say with any certainty that there is a psy-op conspiracy behind it.

Nonetheless, I would stake my reputation as a political prognosticator on the certainty that there will be one or more racially charged episodes in the coming weeks that will put the social-justice issue front and center, seeking to poach Trump’s tenuous support among black men in particular.

And more than that, I certainly would not stake the fate of the country on the presumption that desperate Democrats would be above doing whatever it takes to sow turmoil and confusion between now and November, ensuring that Americans—minorities in particular—vote with their emotions rather than their reason.

Trump Shooting Task Force Obtains Autopsy Records, But Won’t Release Them Yet

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa., the chairman of the House Task Force investigating the Trump assassination attempt, told The Daily Mail on Tuesday that he’s obtained the autopsy records for alleged shooter Thomas Crooks—but he won’t say when those records will be available for the public.

Kelly reportedly confirmed that Crooks’s autopsy records were received by his Task Force, which had demanded to receive them by last Friday.

“However, he did not provide a timetable for when the autopsy would be released publicly,” The Daily Mail reported.

According to The Daily Mail, Kelly hasn’t reviewed the records in full—but he said what he’s seen is gruesome.

“The autopsy, there’s a warning that goes with it,” Kelly reportedly said. “It’s pretty graphic.”

According to Punchbowl News, Kelly has downplayed the significance of the autopsy records.

“I don’t know that it’s revealing in any sort of way, because you’re not going to find out much about his past, or what was his thinking the day he did all that,” he told the outlet.

Headline USA has two outstanding appeals under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law, seeking to compel disclosure of Crooks’s autopsy records—one in Butler County and one in Allegheny County. Both counties were involved in the autopsy and examination of his body.

Kelly also told Punchbowl News more information about Crooks’ apparent mental health issues. Kelly reportedly said the FBI briefed the Task Force recently, and told members that Crooks exhibited strange behavior in the days leading up to the shooting, such as “walking around the house talking to himself” and “flapping his arms.”

“There was some indication that something was wrong,” Kelly said.

Kelly’s comments about Crooks’s mental health align with earlier media reports. According to ABC, “Through interviews with Crooks’ family and others who knew him, investigators learned that throughout high school, Crooks would routinely sway back and forth while standing at the bus stop—but that Crooks never received any sort of formal diagnosis related to it.”

Kelly reportedly added that the first public Task Force hearing could occur within the next two weeks.

Pelosi Smears 30% of GOP Voters As Racist, Sexist, Homophobic

(Headline USA) Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., claimed this week that 30% of GOP voters will never back a Democratic candidate because they are racist, sexist, or homophobic.

Pelosi made the divisive comment during a Texas Tribune Festival interview on Saturday when asked why the race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris is so close.

“There are people who will never be, shall we say, inclined to support Democrats because of — they just have a different orientation toward women, people of color, LGBTQ, you know, they just are not ever going to be there,” Pelosi said. “So, say that’s about like 30% or something like that … of the Republicans.”

Then there are “very, very rich people” who will never back Democrats because they “do not really want to pay taxes or have any regulation of clean air, clean water, any of that,” Pelosi continued.

After insulting Republican voters, Pelosi urged Democrats to be “understanding” of their political opponents.

“We have to be as respectful and understanding as possible,” Pelosi said. “There are people who are concerned. They have fear of globalization. They saw the factory down the road move overseas. They’re fearful of innovation.”

Pelosi immediately drew comparisons to Hillary Clinton’s infamous “deplorables” comment during the 2016 campaign.

“You can put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call a basket of deplorables,” she said at the time. “They’re racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that, and he has lifted them up.”

During the same Texas Tribune event, Pelosi baselessly suggested Trump wouldn’t show up to Tuesday’s debate against Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I know cowardice when I see it,” she claimed.

In response, the Trump campaign blasted Pelosi for spreading misinformation.

“Nancy Pelosi has no idea what she is talking about and has been proven to be a liar and fraud,” said Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung.
