Voters Blame Alleged Shooters, Rhetoric for Attempts on Trump’s Life

(Brett Rowland, The Center Square) Voters say most of the blame for the two attempts to assassinate President Donald Trump during his campaign lies with the alleged shooters themselves, but they assign blame to other factors as well.

Likely voters say the alleged shooters (46%) are responsible for the attempted assassinations. Voters also blame general divisions in America (40%), overheated rhetoric from Democrats (33%) and lax U.S. Secret Service protection (29%), according to the results of The Center Square’s Voters’ Voice Poll, conducted in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights.

Thomas Matthew Crooks struck Trump in the ear, killed one person and injured two others when he opened fire at the former president’s July 13 rally near Butler, Pennsylvania. On Sept. 15, police arrested Ryan Wesley Routh for building a sniper’s nest near the sixth hole of Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach.

U.S. Secret Service officers shot and killed Crooks, who was 20. Routh, 58, faces charges of attempted assassination of a major presidential party candidate, among others, in Florida.

U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned after the first attempt on Trump’s life. Multiple reports have blamed the U.S. Secret Service for a cascade of failures on July 13, including drone problems that could have spotted Crooks hours before the shooting in Pennsylvania.

prosecutors accused of stalking former President Donald Trump for a month before he built a sniper’s nest near the Trump International golf course in West Palm Beach pleaded not guilty Monday to attempted assassination of a presidential candidate.

Routh has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors accused Routh of stalking Trump for a month before the incident.

An FBI agent detailed in court documents the inside of the alleged gunman’s sniper nest where prosecutors said he waited for hours with a scope-fitted rifle. A photo of the nest showed two bags hanging from a fence off the sixth hole. An FBI agent said the bags contained plates that could stop small arms fire. In between the two bags was an SKS rifle with a scope. Agents matched a fingerprint on the rifle to Routh.

Prosecutors said Routh had been planning to kill the former president for months. Agents found in Routh’s Nissan Xterra a handwritten list of dates in August, September, and October 2024 and venues where Trump had appeared or was expected to be present.

Routh also left a note. Routh, a resident of Hawaii and North Carolina and participant in the latter’s March 5 primary, left the note with a person federal prosecutors described as a civilian witness several months before the Sept. 15 incident. According to court records filed Monday, the person reached out to law enforcement on Wednesday. The letter offered money to anyone who would finish the job.

The letter reads in part, “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.”

Noble Predictive Insights conducted the poll from Oct 2-4, 2024. The sample included 2,560 respondents comprised of 1,135 Republicans, 1,162 Democrats, and 263 True Independents (Independents who, when asked if they leaned toward one of the major parties, chose neither). Of the full sample of registered voters, 2,290 were qualified as “likely voters.”

The poll weighted each party – Republicans, Democrats, and True Independents – independently. Additional weighting variables include age, region, gender, education, and race/ethnicity.

The margin of error was +/- 1.9% for registered voters and +/-2.1% for likely voters.

Actor Eddie Griffin: Probably Going to Vote for ‘Crook’ Trump over ‘Puppet’ Kamala

Editor’s note: Video contains profanity.

(Chris Cella Jr., Headline USA) Actor and comedian Eddie Griffin joined a growing list of black celebrities supporting Donald Trump over Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.

During a recent episode of his podcast, Griffin referred to Harris as a “puppet” and a “lying, stinking b**ch.”

Griffin, a veteran stand-up comedian, urged his listeners to reconsider their support for Harris. “I don’t know what the f**k you’re thinking voting for Kamala! She’s a puppet,” he said.

After presenting some of the recent investigative work by Blexit founder Candace Owens that cast doubt on Harris’s purported genealogy and Jamaican heritage, Griffin framed the election as a choice between “a liar and a crook,” implying he leaned toward the latter.

Despite her time as vice president, Harris “has zero experience,” Griffin said. “Nobody respects her on the world stage.”

The Undercover Brother star defended Trump, citing his resilience in the face of legal challenges and controversies as his “credentials” (surviving a shooting and being indicted by the federal government), suggesting these qualities enhanced Trump’s appeal— particularly among black, male voters.

“Yeah the crook—he’s got a lot of n***a in him,” Griffin joked.

“He got three baby mamas,” Griffin continued. “Forty-three felony cases and counting; selling high-top tennis shoes, just like Michael Jordan; got shot, just like Tupac—the motherf**ker gonna drop an album next.”

Several rappers have endorsed Trump and many online content creators have written songs in support of the MAGA movement, although Trump has not, as yet, been featured on any of the tracks as collaborator.

According to Breitbart, Griffin joins at least 11 prominent rappers expressing similar sentiments, including Kodak Black, Chief Keef, and Azealia Banks.

Waka Flocka Flame tweeted in July, “Trump is still my president … this is my choice.”

While some have suggested that Hollywood celebrities have kept quiet about their support of Trump—or any Republican candidate—for fear of getting blacklisted, Griffin is one of a handful to have come out openly, along with his Asian–American co-star in the Deuce Bigalow franchise, Rob Schneider.

MURDOCK: Debunking Six of the Left’s Worst Anti-Trump Lies

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) If you are reading these words, you are paying unusually close attention to Election 2024.

Most Americans are too busy to follow campaigns in depth. Politicos often speak in shorthand and wrongly assume that everyone understands us.

Phrases like “very fine people” and “bloodbath”—echo across party offices and newsrooms. But they escape normal people.

To accommodate the regular 99% of America, Donald J. Trump and his allies should speak in greater detail when they debunk the Left’s enduring anti-Trump lies.

Rather than simply dismiss the Democrats’ unending untruths, precisely explain Trump’s statements and actions. This would help voters understand why the Left is wrong, and Trump is right.

Trump said “very fine people” both supported and opposed a local statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Democrats cover-up what Trump added: “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally.”

  • Suckers and losers: Trump haters keep claiming that he refused to visit a World War I cemetery in France because it brims with “suckers” and “losers.”

Jeffrey Goldberg cited four anonymous sources in his reckless, if not libelous, article in Sept. 3, 2020’s The Atlantic. I dismantled Goldberg’s vile charges via multiple published rebuttals. I eventually quoted 16 named advisors who accompanied Trump to Paris. They concurred that Trump never said “suckers” or “losers.”

The cemetery visit was scotched due to helicopter-hostile weather and motorcade-unfriendly logistics. Two unnamed military aides backed my 16 on-the-record sources. An independent weather report called climate the culprit.

Goldberg mocked his wafer-thin “evidence.” He told MSNBC: “I share that view that it’s not good enough.”

Murdock 19, Goldberg 4.

● Find me 11,780 votes: Democrat fantasies notwithstanding, Trump did not order Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find me 11,780 votes,” to beat Biden. The January 2021 phone call provided much of the basis for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to indict Trump and 18 others with a racketeering conspiracy.

However, as the Trump-hating Washington Post’s transcript shows, Trump said: “I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state.” Personally, I just want to find $100,00 cash. That is light years away from me instructing anyone to rob a Wells Fargo branch and “find me $100,000 cash.”

● Jan. 6: Trump haters claim that he ordered supporters to attack Congress’s certification of 2020’s election. Wrong! During a First Amendment-protected outdoor speech, Trump urged his fans to protest “peacefully and patriotically.”

If Trump craved a bloodbath, why did he authorize 10,000 National Guard troops to keep the party polite? If Democrat D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., had not spurned Trump’s offer, domestic tranquility would have prevailed.

● Dictator on Day 1: Kamala Harris told a Univision audience on Thursday: “Donald Trump has said he will be a dictator on Day 1.”

Fox News’s Sean Hannity asked Trump last Dec. 5: “You’re not going to be a dictator, are you?” Trump jokingly replied, “No, no, no, other than Day 1. We’re closing the border, and we’re drilling, drilling, drilling. After that, I’m not a dictator.”

This would reverse Biden’s Day 1 “dictatorship” in which his lawful executive orders opened the border and stopped the Keystone XL Pipeline and other fossil-fuel ventures. Should Trump have spoken more carefully? Yes. Will Trump open concentration camps? No.

● Bloodbath: In her debate with Trump, Kamala Harris parroted a phony Democrat talking point. “Donald Trump the candidate has said in this election there will be a bloodbath, if the outcome of this election is not to his liking.”

Nope! On March 16, Trump predicted that a Democrat victory would trigger “a bloodbath”…in the auto industry, not the streets.

Between now and Nov. 5, Trump and his supporters must use such hard facts, thoroughly and completely, to win distracted voters who too often fall for the Democrat-Left’s relentlessly repeated lies.

Mayorkas Spends Just 6 Hrs in Hurricane-Ravaged N.C. Before Jetting Back to Ritzy D.C. Restaurant

(Headline USA) Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas spent barely six hours in North Carolina’s hurricane-ravaged communities this week before heading back to Washington, D.C., to dine at a ritzy sushi restaurant.

Mayorkas visited North Carolina on Thursday and delivered an update that afternoon on the federal government’s response to Hurricane Helene. He insisted that the Biden administration “made it clear we will be there for every impacted community, every step of the way.”

Directly after his address, Mayorkas jetted back to D.C., where a photographer for the New York Post snapped a shot of him leaving Nobu carrying several to-go bags at around 5:15 p.m.

The report comes just weeks after Mayorkas was caught shoe-shopping right after Hurricane Helene made landfall and devastated communities across Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

Mayorkas has come under fire over his department’s response to the hurricane, and to its management of funds.

Shortly after Hurricane Helene landed, Mayorkas claimed FEMA, which handles emergency crises for DHS, was running out of funds to help impacted communities.

“We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have,” Mayorkas admitted.

“We are expecting another hurricane hitting,” he continued. “We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season and what— what is imminent.”

But as Republicans noted, FEMA had plenty of funds allocated to other priorities, such as aiding illegal immigrants.

“The real story here is that the Biden-Harris administration has spurned the interests of the American people since day one, pushing for hundreds of millions of FEMA dollars every year, specifically for illegal immigrants,” House Homeland Security Chair Mark Green, R-Tenn., said at the time.

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., argued Republicans needed to get serious about impeaching Mayorkas.

“Already voted to impeach [Mayorkas] once,” she wrote on X. “Who thinks we need to do it again?”

Emhoff Dismisses Allegations of Abuse as ‘Distractions’

(Headline USA) Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff dismissed allegations that he was abusive toward his ex-girlfriend and former female co-workers as a “distraction” intended to hurt Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign, Politico reported.

Emhoff was asked about the bombshell allegations during an interview with MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, who praised Emhoff for remaining “disciplined” amid the reports.

“We don’t have time to be pissed off,” Emhoff responded. “We don’t have time to focus on it; it’s all a distraction. It’s designed to try to get us off our game.”

Emhoff went on to insist that the reports of his alleged past behavior would not throw him or Harris off their “game,” noting that the only thing he and Harris “talk about” is the election.

“The stakes are too high, so all that other stuff you’re talking about bounces off,” Emhoff said. “We’re not going to let it distract us.”

A Daily Mail report last week alleged that Emhoff “forcefully” slapped his then-girlfriend at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. Friends close to his then-girlfriend alleged he hit her so hard that she spun around while in a valet line after the event, and that she called them afterward sobbing in the car.

Another report this week alleged that Emhoff was predatory toward several of his female co-workers at a prestigious Los Angeles law firm where he was an upper level executive.

A former staffer said Emhoff once boasted about shouting at a female partner at the firm to “get the f*** out of my office,” later telling several male colleagues he had “put her in her place.”

Emhoff also had a reputation for being “very flirty” with female colleagues. Those who didn’t respond positively landed on his “s*** list” or were subject to retaliation, according to the Daily Mail.

Former President Donald Trump blasted Emhoff after the reports surfaced, noting if the same allegations of abuse had been made against him, “it would be the greatest story in the last five years.”

Kamala Harris Marked Oct. 7 Anniversary w/ Vogue Photoshoot

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris marked the one-year anniversary of Hamas’s deadly Oct. 7, 2023, attack against Israel with a Vogue photoshoot.

Harris posed in a dark Gabriela Hearst suit and Tiffany earrings for Vogue’s latest cover describing her as “the candidate of our times.”

The Democrat nominee was photographed by Annie Leibovitz for the magazine’s November issue titled “Vice President Kamala Harris on Her Race to the Finish” released Friday.

“Wow,” Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote on X. “On the 1 year anniversary of October 7 and as bodies were being recovered from Hurricane Helene, Kamala Harris sat down for a photo shoot with Vogue.”

Harris did acknowledge the suffering of the approximately 1,200 “people” killed by Hamas, but she refrained from naming the Islamic terror group responsible. The Democrat nominee told Vogue the conflict between Israel and Hamas was not binary and vouched for a two-state solution.

“On October 7, 1,200 people were massacred, including hundreds of young people at a concert. Women were horribly raped,” she said before pausing for emphasis. “And far too many Palestinians have been killed.”

Harris shied away from major public appearances on the Oct. 7 anniversary, opting to plant a commemorative tree at her Naval Observatory residence—where the Vogue interview took place—instead, according to CNN.

The vice president also released an official White House statement condemning the attack.

Harris’s Vogue interview was conducted the same day she complained Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who communicated amicably with President Joe Biden per the chain of command, did not help her score political points by taking her call regarding Hurricane Helene.

Vogue writer Nathan Heller threw sympathy toward Harris by writing “work can’t resolve every crisis” in reference to devastation wrought by Hurricane Helene and wars in the Middle East.

Harris, who previously claimed she marinated a pork roast after Biden called off his reelection bid, contradicted herself when she told Vogue she spent hours on the phone on July 21.

After making “about a hundred calls” to political figures, Harris said she and her team continued to plan her next moves at the kitchen table with a large pot of coffee and pizza.

Harris previously appeared on the cover of Vogue for the magazine’s November 2021 issue titled “Vice President Kamala Harris on the Road Ahead.”

Kamala Plagiarizes Trump’s ‘Unity’ Government in Latest Copy/Paste Stunt

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris unveiled her latest proposal on Friday, seemingly copying a policy former President Donald Trump promoted just weeks ago.

In a statement on X, Harris promised to create a “bipartisan council of advisors” to provide feedback on her hypothetical administration.

“Our democracy needs a healthy two-party system,” Harris claimed, without elaborating how such a council would function.

This echoes Trump’s announcement last month, where he revealed that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard would be part of his transition team if he were to win the November election.

RFK Jr. said Trump asked him to join the campaign for a potential “unity” government.

The Trump campaign boasted of the union as part of its efforts to diversity its ticket ahead of the November election.

Seemingly aware of the appeal, Harris enlisted former Rep. Liz Cheney as a campaign surrogate.

Cheney, once a Republican darling, now finds herself on the outskirts of her party, branded a “RINO” after her role in helping Democrats during the House Select Jan. 6 Committee hearings.

On Oct. 6, Harris posted on X, “Americans have so much more in common than what separates us. I am grateful for the support of @Liz_Cheney and so many Americans who have chosen to put country over party in this fight for the future.”

Harris also alluded to her alleged bipartisanship during a speech in Arizona, where she recalled an alleged interaction with the late Sen. John McCain.

Harris claimed McCain told her, “You’re gonna make a great senator” after a policy disagreement.

McCain’s daughter, Meghan McCain, quickly pushed back, accusing Harris of using her father’s name for political gain.

“But please don’t make me start sharing what I remember him ACTUALLY saying about Kamala Harris….,” Meghan wrote on X.

She added, “And consider this my final warning shot, I will start spilling tea.”

Blue State Omits Trump/Vance from Voter Pamphlets, Candidate List

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was recently revealed that Oregon’s Democratic Secretary of State LaVonne Griffin-Valade didn’t include Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his vice presidential pick, Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, as candidates on the office’s website.

The Federalist reported that the county voter pamphlets also excluded the politicians from the biographies of presidential candidates.

“Oregon voter pamphlets do not include Donald Trump. He also is not listed on the Oregon State Government website under presidential candidates. What’s going on?” Libs of TikTok wrote.

As of this Friday, Oregon’s Secretary of State’s website included the names of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, Libertarian presidential candidate Chase Oliver, and Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein under the category of “Partisan Candidates” and subcategory “President,” but not Trump’s.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s name was also included on the list, even though he previously left the presidential race and endorsed Trump for president.

Only Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz’s name was included under the category of “Partisan Candidates” and subcategory “Vice President.”

As of this Friday, county voter pamphlets issued by Griffin-Valade’s office also excluded Trump and Vance’s names, even though the Republican Party’s description and policies were present. The policies and candidates’ names of other parties were also included.

However, the pamphlet included Trump and Vance’s names only on page 26, far away from most people’s eyes.

In the comments section under Libs of TikTok’s post, people quickly criticized Democrats for interfering in the 2024 election. After facing the backlash, Democrats in the far-left state tried to defend their actions exposed on Twitter.

“The Trump campaign chose not to participate. It was not an omission by officials. Trump/Vance will still be on your ballot. The GOP clarified this in May: ‘The decision not to submit a statement for the voter’s pamphlet was made by the Trump campaign,'” Oregon Secretary of State’s office wrote.

The office also included a link in its post to the Oregon Republican Party’s website.

“If you are a registered Republican, rest assured that Mr. Trump will appear on your May 21  primary ballot. Ballots will be mailed the first week of May,” Republicans wrote.

Entitled Kamala Harris’s Husband, Veep Pick Leave Cafe w/o Paying

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris’s public image is not improving.

Aside from her constantly ruining it, other people involved in her presidential campaign also unwilfully ensure that her chances of winning the 2024 election are nonexistent.

Red State reported that Harris’s vice presidential pick, Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., and her husband, Doug Emhoff, recently visited Otro Cafe in Phoenix and left without paying for the coffee they took.

“‘Doug’ and Tampon Tim Walz walk away from the counter without paying, leaving Tim’s daughter to inform the cashier that a staffer will soon be up with a credit card,” Trump War Room posted on Twitter.

Conservative reporter Greg Price also criticized Walz and Emhoff while also including a clip of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump acting differently, even though he is a multi-billionaire.

“Just like every middle-class person does,” he wrote.

Other conservatives also criticized the entitled members of Harris’s team.

“Doug and Tim think they’re above paying for things themselves. They’re shameless,” @Bubblebathgirl wrote.

Julie Kelly of Real Clear Investigations agreed with the assessment.

“No manners whatsoever. Rude entitled a****les,” she wrote.

Others also remembered Trump, writing that he would behave differently, proving that Walz and Emhoff’s recent behavior is not based on their financial situation but on their perception of themselves as royalty.

“If this was [Trump], he would be paying with a 100 dollar bill and the rest was tip,” one of the people in the comments section wrote.

Red State also criticized Walz and Emhoff in one of its articles, pointing out that they got used to “their subordinates doing that stuff for them.”

However, according to the news source’s contributor, this was not the biggest problem.

“The problem here is that this is not how these photo-ops are supposed to go. The entire point of the coffee shop campaign stop is to have the candidate interact with the workers while leaving a big tip. It’s not to just smile for the cameras, take a coffee, and leave,” the author wrote.

Party of ‘Peace,’ ‘Joy’ Puts Trump’s Head at Exhibition to Kick

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The self-proclaimed party of “peace” and “joy” once again showed its true colors by allowing leftists to kick a rubber head of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at an art exhibit in Los Angeles.

Paul Joseph Watson of Modernity News reported that players kicked the rubber head around during an indoor game at Superchief Gallery in the far-left city last weekend. A group called INDECLINE created the anti-Trump installation.

Ironically, the raging leftists claimed that the installation was created to oppose Trump “spreading hate.”

“Freedom Kick is an appeal to the American sense of justice as a match between two opposing teams,” the group said, according to the news source. “The rules are meant to protect us from cheaters. We believe it is time to reset the game before we have to spend another four years watching a cheeseburger-scarfing, bloviating mess hobble up and down the pitch spreading hate.”

Conservatives criticized the recent display of blatant hatred of Trump.

“Because there’s nothing kinder and more appropriate in opposing ‘hate’ than to make a facsimile of someone’s decapitated head and treat it with total disrespect,” Watson wrote in his article. “They really just want to stop hate!”

Host of Unfiltered Unbiased Verified Mario Nawfal also commented on the recent news.

“Political civility on full display, I guess,” he wrote.

Conservative account, @amuse, agreed, adding that the Left doesn’t seem to realize that doing something like this only destroys their image as a “tolerant” and “peaceful” party that constantly puts the “There’s no hate in this home” yard signs in front of their homes.

“INCITEMENT: Is it just me, or does the left seem to have a lack of self-awareness?” @amuse wrote. “Hundreds of people have participated in the sick effort to dehumanize the former president.”

Others noted that the leftists’ obsession with “naked and beheaded effigies of their political opponents is really weird and unsettling.”

However, the recent news was not the only example of the Left expressing their desire to murder Trump. In 2017, Hollywood actress Kathy Griffin, for example, took a photo of herself holding a rubber head of Trump, covered in fake blood.
