Kamala Campaign Reverses Her Reversal on Fracking

(Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign reversed her reversal on fracking …before reversing the Democrat’s position once again.

Harris, who supported a ban on fracking during her 2019 primary campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, flip-flopped on that position after winning the Democratic nomination this summer.

However, a top Harris campaign adviser admitted this week that Harris has no intention of allowing fracking to expand in the U.S., despite her assurances that she would not try to ban the practice.

“She is not promoting expansion,” Claudia Thorndike told Politico. “She’s just said that they wouldn’t ban fracking and the fact that anyone could look up is that the [Inflation Reduction Act] required leases, and that was not something that she promoted.”

Thorndike went on to assure voters “who care about climate change” that she “has championed these causes” and will continue to if elected in November.

In a follow-up statement, Thorndike claimed she misspoke and did not mean to suggest that Harris does not support fracking.

“I didn’t explain myself clearly here,” Thorndike said Monday.

“Contrary to Trump’s claims, the VP has not banned fracking, doesn’t support banning fracking, and in fact cast the tie-breaking vote on the biggest pro-climate law ever, which, yes, opened new fracking leases,” Thorndike continued. “People know that’s her position.”

It is not clear what Harris’s exact position on fracking is.

“So Harris’ new position in October is she now opposes fracking and no longer supports her position in July when she changed her position to support fracking which was subsequently a change in her prior, prior position of June which was to oppose fracking? Got it,” the U.S. Oil & Gas Association tweeted in response to Thorndike.

The Trump campaign has argued that while Harris’s position on fracking might be constantly changing, the former president’s has been consistent: “We will drill, baby, drill,” Trump said.

Kamala Hit w/ Another Plagiarism Allegation

(Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris has been accused of plagiarism again—this time over a congressional testimony she gave as a district attorney.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, Harris lifted much of her 2007 testimony before Congress as San Francisco’s district attorney from a Republican district attorney in Illinois named Paul Logli.

Harris’s testimony was in support of the John R. Justice Prosecutors and Defenders Incentive Act, which did not pass but would have created a student-loan repayment program for state and local prosecutors.

Harris argued the program would help recruit new prosecutors to short-staffed district attorneys’ offices, which would, in turn, ensure that those offices weren’t putting rookie prosecutors on complex cases.

“There are numerous criminal cases that are particularly difficult because of the dynamics involved,” Harris said in her testimony.

“To name just a few—child abuse, elder neglect, domestic violence, identity theft and public corruption,” she continued. “The stakes are simply too high to allow any attorney other than experienced prosecutors to handle these matters.”

Harris’s statement was nearly identical to one given by Logli, who had also testified in support of the bill before Congress two months prior. According to the Free Beacon, Harris’s testimony even included the same typos as Logli’s.

When asked for comment, Logli said it was likely Harris received the same research from the National District Attorneys Association that he had received before his testimony—suggesting that both plagiarized the organization by rehashing its canned talking points without any attribution.

“The similar content of our statements was an effort by NDAA to be entirely consistent in the positions we presented to both Houses of Congress on behalf of the 3,500 state and local prosecutors we represented on  a national level,” he said.

Harris has also been accused of plagiarizing a book she co-authored, Smart on Crime.

In a statement, Harris’s campaign dismissed the allegations as a “right-wing” attack.

“This is a book that’s been out for 15 years, and the vice president clearly cited sources and statistics in footnotes and endnotes throughout,” Harris campaign spokesman James Singer told the New York Times.

Harris’s campaign has not yet commented on the new plagiarism allegations.

The Trump campaign previously accused her of cribbing several of the Republican nominee’s ideas, including his “no tax on tips,” as well as lifting others directly from the website of her predecessor, President Joe Biden.

Kamala Bizarrely Insists She Doesn’t Need Weed Gummies to Deal w/ Election Stress

(Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris bizarrely quipped during a townhall event this week that she doesn’t need to take marijuana-infused gummies to deal with election cycle stress, USA Today reported.

Harris made the comment after being asked by moderator Maria Shriver about how she’s able to stay calm on the campaign trail.

Shriver claimed “everybody” she knew is using some sort of stress relief method. She recalled people telling her, “‘I have to turn off the news, I can’t read anything, I’m meditating, I’m doing yoga. I’m so anxious … I’m eating gummies.’ All kinds of things. What are you doing?” Shriver asked Harris.

“I’m not eating gummies,” Harris cackled.

“OK, we got that clear,” Shriver responded.

Harris went on to admit that she was feeling anxious about the election.

“I wake up in the middle of the night usually these days, just to be honest with you,” she said, adding that she tried to stay grounded by exercising “every morning” and spending time with her family.

Harris’s comment on marijuana comes just one week after she announced her support for legalizing the drug nationally. The policy was included in Harris’s specific pitch to black men.

This isn’t the first time Harris has used marijuana in an attempt to win political support. Back in 2019, when she was running for the Democratic presidential nomination, Harris bragged that she smoked marijuana in college after being pressed on her prosecutorial record in California.

“And I inhaled. I did inhale,” Harris said at the time. “Half my family’s from Jamaica. Are you kidding me?”

Harris went on to say that she supports legalizing marijuana because “I think that it gives a lot of people joy and we need more joy.”

As San Francisco’s district attorney, Harris oversaw more than 1,900 marijuana convictions between 2004 and 2011.

Rumors of Harris’s substance-abuse issues have abounded on the campaign trail, including suggestions of chronic alcoholism and even allegations that the cocaine found last year in the White House was intended for her, not Hunter Biden as many assumed.

Unhinged AOC Claims Trump Mocked McDonald’s Employees by Working Fry Station

(Headline USA) “Squad” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio–Cortez, D-N.Y., claimed this week that former President Donald Trump mocked fast food employees this week after he visited a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, Newsweek reported.

Trump made the campaign stop to troll Vice President Kamala Harris, who claims she worked at a McDonald’s during high school. During his visit, he briefly worked at the frying station and delivered orders through the drive-thru window.

“I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala,” Trump joked.

Ocasio–Cortez’s reaction was apoplectic.

“You’ve got Donald Trump putting on a little McDonald’s costume because he thinks that’s what people do,” Ocasio-Cortez said at a United Auto Workers union event on Monday.

“They’re not trying to empathize with us. They are making fun of us,” said Ocasio–Cortez, whose net worth, according to Forbes, is estimated to be around $125,000, substantially more than the typical McDonald’s worker.

“Donald Trump thinks that people who work at McDonald’s are a joke,” she claimed.

Ocasio–Cortez also blasted tech mogul Elon Musk, who endorsed Trump this summer and announced this week that he would be giving away $1 million every week to a random voter who signs his petition to protect the First and Second amendments.

“We see Elon Musk coming in here. He’s doing these little contests where he’s promising people a million dollars in some kind of lottery giveaway if they sign up for his list,” she complained. “You have a billionaire just dangling a million bucks to those of us and many of us who are struggling to make ends meet if they dance for him.”

Harris’s running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, also blasted Trump over the former president’s McDonald’s visit, insisting that Harris really did work at a McDonald’s—despite the restaurant’s recent confirmation that she did not.

“She actually worked in a McDonald’s,” he told The View on Monday. “She didn’t go and pander and disrespect McDonald’s workers by standing there in your red tie and take a picture.”

Trial Begins for Marine Accused of Killing Unhinged Homeless Man on NYC Subway

(Matthew Doarnberger, Headline USA) Jury selection has begun for the trial of Daniel Penny, the Marine Corps veteran accused of killing Jordan Neely on a New York City subway car back in May 2023.

Neely, a homeless man with a history of mental illness, was placed in a chokehold by Penny after making a series of violent threats against other passengers. According to eyewitnesses, Neely was seen saying that he was “hungry, thirsty and ready to kill someone.”

Prosecutors said they would not be disputing that he was acting in an aggressive manner.

Both the prosecution and the defense say that a four-minute video of the altercation would be used to bolster the case for their side.

Prosecutors will bring up that Penny kept his chokehold on Neely for nearly six minutes in an attempt to subdue him.

“The notion that death is not a foreseeable consequence of squeezing someone’s neck for six minutes is beyond the pale,” wrote the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in November 2023, according to the New York Post.

Penny’s defense lawyers will the medical examiner. who testified to the grand jury never gave any evidence that Neely had died from asphyxiation due to the chokehold, the Post reported.

“The fact that [the examiner] did not testify that he did, in fact, die from asphyxiation, can only be explained by a lack of evidence to support such a conclusion,” the defense lawyers said.

Should the judge in the case allow it, the defense could bring up Neely’s chronic abuse of the drug K2, which he had in his system at the time of his death.

The case is likely to hinge on the testimony of eyewitnesses to the incident. On that front, defense attorney Steve Raiser told USA Today that his side would have the advantage.

“The people on that train with Danny feared for their lives,” Raiser said.

“Nearly everybody there who testified that was in the reach of Mr. Neely was afraid of him,” Raiser continued. “We have to remember that Mr. Neely was making threats that he was going to kill people.”

Unsurprisingly, the issue of race has played a significant part in the fallout of the case. Since Penny is white and Neely is black, accusations of racism have surfaced.

Members of the December 12 Movement, an advocacy group that pushed for Penny’s prosecution, maintained that Neely’s death was racially motivated.

“Daniel Penny is a civilian, an ex-Marine who was trained to kill people,” said member Roger Wareham.

“Daniel Penny killed Jordan Neely not in self-defense, but rather an arrogant flex of muscle to kill a nuisance,” said member Christian Joseph.

Imani Henry, who belongs to a Black Lives Matter organization in Brooklyn, also expressed frustration over the city not doing enough for those with mental-health issues.

“Jordan Neely was loved in his communities,” Henry claimed.

“He was a brother, he was a community member. He was a performer,” Henry continued, making reference to the homeless man’s tendency to do Michael Jackson’s “Moonwalk” while busking for money in the Subway. “To continue to keep just focusing on his mental- health condition is just unfair and wrong, because we are not simply one component of our lives. We are full and complex people.”

The New York Subway System experienced a sharp rise in lawlessness as major crimes increased 45% in January of this year.

As a result, an additional 1,000 police officers were assigned to the subway system the following month. A month later, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul deployed an additional 750 members of the National Guard and 250 state troopers from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to the subways.

Penny faces charges of second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide. He faces a maximum of 15 years in prison if convicted.

Legendary NASCAR Driver Explains Why Trump Will Get Her First Ever Vote

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Former NASCAR racer Danica Patrick explained Monday night on Jesse Watters Primetime why she finally decided to exercise her right to vote for the first time.

“I am passionate because it feels like voting for Donald Trump is like the vote of reason,” Patrick told Fox News host Jesse Watters. “It’s like the rational, reasonable choice.”

Patrick said she did not have the time or energy for politics in the past because she was extremely focused on racing. She has also had successful side careers as model (including pitchwoman for her former sponsor, GoDaddy.com) and a businesswoman.

Patrick said she spent six years never watching the news—but now the news is all she puts on television.

“It’s not something I’m proud of, I would say, but it is true,” Patrick said.

“To explain myself slightly, one of the rules I’ve had for myself in all of past elections, no matter what has happened was I’ve said, ‘Look, if I don’t vote, it doesn’t mean that I don’t have an opinion, but I’m not gonna tell anyone about it,'” she said. “I don’t have a problem with anything. I can’t complain about anything because I didn’t do my part.”

Eventually, however, her opinions began to overpower her desire to remain blissfully disengaged.

Patrick cited backlash she faced for a December 2023 Instagram post at Turning Point USA’s AMfest as the catalyst for her political awakening.

She said she was puzzled by why “MAGA,” Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, is used as an “insult.”

The famous female driver identified the gender gap as a major rift in the American electorate, acknowledging that some women may refuse to vote for Trump because of his personality.

“That’s the most common answer you hear from people: ‘I just can’t vote for him,’” she said.

“I don’t think that’s a good enough reason,” she continued. “You don’t have to go to dinner with him. You just have to like the country that you live in.”

Patrick previously revealed that she was a first-time voter while moderating an October townhall event with Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance in Greensboro, N.C.

Report: Bill Gates Made Secret $50M Donation to Kamala Harris Group

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The New York Times revealed Tuesday that billionaire Bill Gates made a secretive $50 million donation to a nonprofit organization that is supporting Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential run.

Citing three people briefed on the matter, NYT reported Tuesday that Gates made his donation to Future Forward, the main outside fund-raising group supporting Harris.

“Mr. Gates’s donation went specifically to Future Forward’s nonprofit arm, Future Forward USA Action, which as a 501(c)(4) ‘dark money’ organization does not disclose its donors, according to the people briefed. So any contribution by Mr. Gates will never appear on any public filing,” NYT reported.

NYT also reported Gates has privately expressed concerns about a second Donald Trump presidency.

“Mr. Gates does not have a deep relationship with Ms. Harris, but he has celebrated the Biden-Harris administration’s work on climate change,” NYT said.

Responding to NYT, Gates reportedly provided a non-answer.

“I support candidates who demonstrate a clear commitment to improving health care, reducing poverty and fighting climate change in the U.S. and around the world,” he reportedly told NYT.

“I have a long history of working with leaders across the political spectrum, but this election is different, with unprecedented significance for Americans and the most vulnerable people around the world.”

Future Forward reportedly declined to comment, as did a spokesperson for Michael Bloomberg, whom NYT described as “a major supporter of Future Forward who has considered a similarly sized gift.”

Along with being a proponent of lockdowns, vaccine mandates, carbon taxes and a variety of other policies associated with the “Great Reset,” Gates has had a notoriously close relationship with deceased sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein.

Melinda Gates allegedly had serious doubts about her husband’s friend the entire time.

“I did not like that [Bill] had meetings with Jeffrey Epstein,” Melinda said in an interview in 2022.

“I made that clear to him. I also met Jeffrey Epstein exactly one time. I wanted to see who this man was, and I regretted it from the second I stepped in the door.”

She later called him “evil personified.”

CNN Panelists Praise Trump’s ‘Unbelievably Smart’ Campaign Stop

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) CNN This Morning panelists praised Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Monday for his “unbelievably smart” choice to work a Sunday afternoon shift at a swing state’s McDonald’s.

Trump countered Democrat nominee Kamala Harris’s debunked claims that she had a job making fries at McDonald’s by clocking in at a McDonald’s in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

The GOP nominee donned the fast-food joint’s iconic apron as he made fries, bagged orders and engaged with ecstatic supporters from the drive-thru window.

“When I first saw that image of Trump kind of hanging out the drive-thru window, part of me thought, ‘Wow, is that real?’ I never thought he would do something like that” CNN host Kasie Hunt told panelists.

Hunt compared Trump’s appearance to his 1999 McDonald’s commercial, noting that he went from projecting the image of someone who seemed like he would own a McDonald’s to someone who worked at the fast-food restaurant.

The CNN host applauded the Republican nominee’s populist plan to appeal to working-class voters, even if it resulted in a bit of cognitive dissonance to see the billionaire president serving up fries.

“Clearly, they have a strategy to try to appeal to working-class voters—try to, you know, twist the knife on Harris. But I still found these images to be jarring,” Hunt said.

They also commended Trump for his authenticity—an issue with which his Democrat rivals, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, have routinely struggled

“Part of what is so striking about them is he’s not trying to not be Donald Trump,” CNN commentator Kristen Soltis Anderson said. “Like, some politicians go and they try to dress up as somebody their not.”

The CNN commentator continued to say Trump has always branded himself as a rich guy who doesn’t like other rich guys.

“He’s still got the red tie. He’s still so clearly himself, and I think this was an unbelievably smart move because one thing that he differentiated Donald Trump from other really wealthy politicians is that he has never been seen as the aloof, the billionaire who would never deign to hang out with the commoner,” Soltis Anderson said.

“He has always sort of portrayed himself as, ‘I’m the rich guy who doesn’t really like the other rich guys,” she added.

Trump himself spoke about the experience on Monday while visiting the western North Carolina region devastated last month by Hurricane Helene.

In response to a question about undecided voters, he credited his recent surge in the betting polls to the hard work and dedication he had shown in his unyielding desire to fix what is broken in America.

“I’ve been going full blast—yesterday you saw that, we had early in the morning till late in the evening,” he said.

“We left the [Pittsburgh Steelers] football game, we went to a McDonald’s—that was quite a stop,” he continued. “That was quite a stop—thousands and thousands. They had 25,000 people around circling the building—I wouldn’t say the Secret Service was thrilled, but that’s the way it is. It was a lovefest, though. It was incredible.”

Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Arrested on Sex Trafficking Charges

(Headline USA) Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries, his romantic partner and a third man were arrested Tuesday on charges of luring men into drug-laced, outlandish and coercive sex parties held around the world by dangling the promise of modeling for the retailer’s once-defining beefcake ads.

For almost 20 years, Jeffries, his partner Matthew Smith and their employee James Jacobson used Jeffries’ status, wealth and a web of household staffers to fulfill the couple’s sexual desires in what amounted to an international sex trafficking and prostitution business protected by secrecy, according to an indictment unsealed in federal court in New York.

“Sexually exploiting vulnerable human beings is a crime. And doing so by dangling dreams of a future in fashion or modeling … is no different,” Brooklyn-based U.S. attorney Breon Peace said at a news conference, calling the case a warning “to anyone who thinks they can exploit and coerce others by using the so-called casting couch system.”

Jeffries’ attorney, Brian Bieber, and Smith’s lawyers, Joseph Nascimento and David Raben, said by email they would respond to the allegations in court.

Messages seeking comment were sent to Jacobson’s attorney. Jacobson has said previously that he didn’t engage in or know about any coercive, deceptive or forceful behavior.

The charges follow and sometimes echo sexual misconduct accusations made in lawsuits and the media by young people who said Jeffries promised modeling work and then pressed them into sex acts.

The case also is the latest sex crime prosecution of a prominent and wealthy man — from Sean “Diddy” Combs to Harvey Weinstein — accused of abusing his position as a star or possible star-maker, though the status of the cases and important aspects of the allegations vary. An early accuser of the late Jeffrey Epstein said he groped her during a 1997 meeting arranged as a modeling interview for the Victoria’s Secret catalog.

All three defendants appeared Tuesday in various courts — Jeffries and Smith in West Palm Beach, Florida, where they were taken into custody, and Jacobson in St. Paul, Minnesota, after his arrest in Wisconsin.

The three are charged with sex trafficking and interstate prostitution involving 15 unnamed accusers.

Jacobson did not address the allegations during his court appearance in St. Paul, other than to tell the judge “I understand what they claim.” He was not asked to enter a plea and was set to be released on bond.

James Dennehy, the assistant director of the FBI’s New York office, called the allegations “abhorrent.”

According to the indictment, the three paid for dozens of men to travel within the U.S. and internationally to engage in paid sex with them and other men in New York and at hotels in England, France, Italy, Morocco and St. Barts between 2008 and 2015. The sometimes graphic indictment describes sexual bacchanals in which the recruited men were given drugs, lubricant, condoms, costumes, sex toys and, sometimes, erection-inducing penile injections that caused painful, hourslong reactions.

The men weren’t informed of all that the events would entail, including some of the sexual practices they’d be expected to engage in, and they were required to give up their clothes and cell phones during the gatherings and sign non-disclosure agreements afterward, the indictment said. It said the men sometimes got itineraries like those sent to models for photo shoots, leaving the men in the dark about what they were signing up for.

The defendants led the men to believe that attending the events would help their careers, including their chances of getting Abercrombie modeling gigs — or that not complying could harm their prospects, the indictment says.

Jeffries and Smith employed Jacobson to recruit the men, who typically had to undergo “tryouts” by having sex with Jacobson first, according to the indictment. It says other, unnamed household staffers also helped facilitate the events, including by acting as security and providing alcohol, muscle relaxants, Viagra and other items.

The men were subjected to some sex acts without consent, and when witnesses threatened to expose what was going on, Jeffries and Smith used a security company to surveil and intimidate them into silence, according to a letter that prosecutors filed in court.

Peace said at the news conference that prosecutors have “a lot of evidence,” including travel records, financial documents and testimony from accusers and witnesses.

Jeffries became CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch in 1992 and left in 2014. The New Albany, Ohio-based company, which also encompasses Hollister, declined to comment on his arrest.

Prosecutors don’t allege that the company’s resources or property were used in the alleged sex scheme.

Abercrombie last year said it had hired an outside law firm to conduct an independent investigation after the BBC reported on similar allegations from a dozen men.

A lawsuit filed in New York last year accused Abercrombie of allowing Jeffries to run a sex-trafficking organization during his 22-year tenure, with modeling scouts scouring the internet for victims. At the time, Bieber declined to comment on the allegations.

Abercrombie & Fitch traces its roots to a hunting and outdoors goods store that was founded in 1892. When Jeffries arrived a century later, the brand was a retail also-ran.

He was credited with transforming it into a darling of turn-of-the-millennium teen mall culture, known for its nouveau-preppy aesthetic — and for its sexy ads and store events featuring shirtless, muscular male models. Jeffries talked openly about how the company went after attractive kids who could fit into its clothes.

Those remarks alienated customers who didn’t fit — literally or otherwise — the brand’s image, and the 2008 financial crisis and subsequent recession prompted some teens to look to less expensive “fast fashion” chains. A&F’s popularity started to fade again.

By the time Jeffries left, the company’s sales were slumping, and a hedge fund had pushed the board to replace him.

A few months after his departure, the retailer announced it would stop using “sexualized” photos in marketing materials in its shops and calling store staffers “models.” The company told regional managers it wouldn’t “tolerate discrimination based on body type or physical attractiveness.”

The company has rebounded in recent years.

FBI Sting Nabs 21-Year-Old Schizophrenic Who Talked to Undercover Agent for 5 Years

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The FBI arrested last week a 21-year-old alleged terrorist for trying to fight with ISIS in Africa.

But the criminal complaint filed against the alleged terrorist, Michael Sam Teekaye Jr., reveal that he’s a severely mentally ill person who’s been talking to an undercover FBI agent since he was 16.

According to the Oct. 15 criminal complaint, Teekaye came on the FBI’s radar shortly after September 2019, when he “admitted he wanted to cut the head off of [a fellow student] and kill him.”  Teekaye was subject to an emergency mental health petition at the time.

The FBI learned of Teekaye about three months later, when agents learned that he was “expressing extremist Islamist ideology” online.

“Shortly thereafter, TEEKAYE began interacting with a male Online Covert Employee (“OCE”),” the criminal complaint said.

In January 2020, the FBI spoke with Teekaye’s parents and searched his laptop. Teekaye was then subject of another emergency petition and was hospitalized at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington. FBI agents interviewed him again a month later—he’s still only 16 at the time—and he told him he wanted “to go overseas as a fighter had waned, and he felt he was being used by people online,” the complaint said.

“He also said that because the FBI was watching him, he would not have a chance to pursue efforts to fight overseas,” the complaint added.

Teekaye’s since been diagnosed with early onset schizophrenia and a slew of other disorders.

Fast forward more than two years, and Teekaye was arrested for brandishing a knife outside of a school. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, and was given Probation Before Judgment and placed on supervised probation until September 2025.

In March 2023, Teekaye again communicated with an undercover agent online about Islamic terrorism. In these conversations, he started mulling the idea of joining an ISIS affiliate in Africa, according to the criminal complaint.

“In WhatsApp conversations with the UCO on April 12-13, 2023, TEEKAYE clarified that ‘plan A’ is to go overseas, specifically West Africa, to conduct an attack. TEEKAYE stated that ‘plan B’ is to conduct an attack in the U.S., but it is ‘too risky anyways,’” the complaint said.

It appears as though the undercover agent was a female luring him with promises of a romantic relationship, and baiting him into a potential attack on Israelis. The two discussed marriage repeatedly, according to the FBI complaint, and at one point Teekaye accused the agent of “talking like you want to do an attack with me” when they were discussing Israel.

By early October of this year, Teekaye had obtained a visa and a plane ticket to travel to Turkey.

“On October 14, 2024, FBI agents observed TEEKAYE travel to BWI airport in a rideshare vehicle, check in for flight BA 228 bound for London, and proceed through the security checkpoint. TEEKAYE was arrested at approximately 5:59PM,” the complaint said.

“After being advised of his Miranda rights, TEEKAYE made the following unprovoked statements, among others: ‘I’ll just get out in 20 years and do something here. Okay? Okay? You will never stop me. Jihad will never stop,’” the complaint added.

“While making these statements, TEEKAYE began kicking one of the FBI arresting agents. He then stated that he hoped to ‘kill a guard’ while in prison.”

Teekaye had an initial appearance in Maryland federal court on Monday.

Teen Terrorism Stings

His arrest marked at least the sixth teenager arrested by the FBI over the last year-plus in highly dubious terrorism stings.

In July 2023, then-18-year-old  Davin Meyer was arrested as he was about to board an international flight—also out of Denver—allegedly to travel to the Middle East and fight for ISIS. Meyer’s mother, who originally approached law enforcement out of concern for her son, said that the FBI entrapped the boy.

Before Meyer was arrested in July 2023, the FBI announced in June that it arrested 18-year-old Mateo Ventura for intending to support ISIS. However, Ventura’s father, has also accused the FBI of entrapping his son.

Along with Meyer and Ventura, the FBI arrested a 17-year-old boy in August 2023 for supposedly plotting to carry out an ISIS-inspired terrorist attack on American soil.

More recently, the FBI arrested a teenager in December who was supposedly on his way from Denver to fight for ISIS in the Middle East. But like the others, the details of that case show that the teenager, 18-year-old Humzah Mashkoor, was targeted online since he was 16 by at least four undercover FBI agents. And moreover, Mashkoor suffers from mental illness and has high-functioning autism, according to his family.

And most recently, the FBI arrested 18-year-old Alexander Scott Mercurio in April on terrorism charges after targeting him for years in an investigation that involved at least three undercover informants and an undercover agent.
