‘Get Hit in the Head’: Biden Gives Startling Response to Reporter Asking About Hostages

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) President Joe Biden gave a startling response Tuesday after a reporter asked him about a potential hostage deal during a White House meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog.

Neria Kraus, an anchorwoman at NewsIsrael13, posted video of her exchange with Biden, who questioned whether a mass of cameras behind her could hit her in the head.

“President Biden, do you think that you can get a hostage deal by the end of your term?” Kraus asked the lame duck president, who leaves office in 69 days.

“Do you think you could get hit in the head by the camera behind you?” Biden mumbled back in a response that, if not for its flat delivery, might have been an attempt to humorously avoid giving a direct answer.

Kraus’s post noted that Biden was “commenting on the number of the cameramen in the room.”

Herzog considered his one-hour meeting with Biden to be “very productive,” CBS News reported.

The Israeli president told reporters in an exchange after the meeting that the Biden administration will continue to work toward “peace and stability” in Israel until Jan. 20.

“President Biden was very gracious, very open, very friendly, and we had an open and frank discussion,” Herzog said. “And the most important thing out of this discussion is, of course, the commitment of President Biden and the administration to work until Jan. 20, until the last minute, to achieve goals that are so important to peace and stability, and predominantly, security and security of the state of Israel in the Middle East.”

When the two met in the Oval Office, Herzog gifted Biden an artifact from the foot of Temple Mount in Jerusalem, according to the outlet.

Herzog described Iran as an “evil empire” after speaking of the death of two Israelis killed in Nahariya by rockets fired from Lebanon.

“First and foremost we have to get the hostages back,” Herzog said.

That afternoon, Republican President-elect Donald Trump announced the selection of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee as the incoming U.S. ambassador to Israel.

“Mike has been a great public servant, Governor, and Leader in Faith for many years,” Trump said in a statement. “He loves Israel, and the people of Israel, and likewise, the people of Israel love him. Mike will work tirelessly to bring about Peace in the Middle East!”

Activist Credited w/ Flipping Pa. Red Sets Sights on New Jersey

(Maire Clayton, Headline USA) Conservative activist Scott Presler announced Monday he was planning to turn his focus on registering New Jersey Republican voters after helping turn Pennsylvania red in the 2024 election.

“I make a commitment right here & now that we will be registering new Republican voters in New Jersey & commit time in 2025 to the gubernatorial election,” Presler wrote on X.

Trump lost New Jersey to Vice President Kamala Harris by roughly 5 points; however in the 2020 election he lost the state by 16 points to now-President Joe Biden.

Other indicators suggested that the political divide in the historically deep-blue state had begun to narrow even as recently as 2021, when Gov. Phil Murphy, who was criticized for imposing draconian COVID mandates, faced a serious re-election challenge from Republican Jack Ciattarelli.

Republicans circulated a memo following the 2022 midterm election addressing possible strategies to flip the state.

“New Jerseyans realize the one-party rule in Trenton has failed them as their policies have led the Garden State to have an unfriendly business climate, egregious tax hikes, and soaring crime,” wrote Edith Jorge Tuñon, deputy executive director of the Republican State Leadership Committee. “Voters are ready to elect more state Republicans who will be laser-focused on commonsense policies and stripping away Democrats’ overbearing power of governing.”

Trump stunned political watchers by drawing an estimated crowd of 100,000 to a rally at the New Jersey shore in May.

Presler founded Early Vote Action with the focus on getting members of the GOP Party to register and commit to vote.

The activist focused on Pennsylvania in the 2024 election and was able to get the Amish to turn out to cast a ballot.

Presler spoke with Donald Trump Jr. in a March interview and discussed how Amish notoriously do not vote.

He said he spent a large portion of time speaking with members of the Amish community in Lancaster, Pa., and explained how their way of life was under attack by the Democratic Party.

“Please vote,” he recalled telling individuals. “Please help save our country.”

He added that on one of the days EVA was registering voters, one out of every five people were Amish.

Trump ended up winning Pennsylvania by 2 points. He previously lost the state in 2020 to Biden by only 1.2 points.

Presler’s group went to events such as “gun shows, places of worship, rodeos, farmers markets, & even mud sales” to try to register Americans to vote, according to a social media post from the founder.

While Presler said he was going to turn his focus on New Jersey, the group will continue to register voters in Pennsylvania.

The activist has received praise among conservatives for his work to register voters.

“America owes this man a beer,” conservative podcaster Joe Mobley wrote on X.

CNN to Lay Off Hundreds of Employees after Denying Top Stars Raises: REPORT

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) CNN is poised to lay off hundreds of employees in a post-election purge, Puck News first reported on Friday.

This comes as former Fox News host turned CNN anchor Chris Wallace announced Monday his departure from the network.

Senior CNN talent, including Jake Tapper and Wolf Blitzer were both denied raises to the multimillion-dollar salaries, Puck News noted.

“In the next few months, I’m told, CNN will implement another round of layoffs that will impact hundreds of employees across the organization,” reporter Dylan Byers wrote, referencing CNN’s 100-person layoff over the summer.

Production workers are expected to be heavily impacted by the layoffs, according to the outlet.

As a result, on-air talent will be “asked to assume more of the responsibilities once handled by teams of producers and production assistants.”

Some reporter and correspondent roles could also be affected by CNN’s incoming round of layoffs, Byers revealed.

CNN CEO Mark Thompson, who took the helm in Oct. 2023, is the force behind the firings, the outlet reported.

He seeks to stop the network’s fall from grace as it barely cracks around 800,000 viewers—a far cry from its 13.3 million average viewers during its peak as the most-watched cable news network in 2016.

On Election Day, CNN lost the ratings war to MSNBC for the first time as it only brought in 5.1 viewers.

MSNBC recorded 6 million viewers, while Fox News outperformed them both at 10.3 million.

Byers mentioned that the next months at CNN may be “awful” to protect the business’s future.

“The soul-searching has obviously begun within the Democratic Party, which has been trying to restore its Obama-era mojo for many cycles, despite the fact that so much has changed about our politics in the past 15 years,” he wrote. “CNN, in working through its own introspective journey, may come to a similar conclusion: Re-creating the past never works.”

Air National Guardsman Who Exposed Biden War Crimes Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years imprisonment for leaking classified Pentagon documents on a Discord gaming platform—exposing Biden war crimes in the process.

Ahead of Teixeira’s sentencing, his lawyers reportedly filed an 80-page sentencing memorandum under seal, seeking an 11-year sentence—arguing that Teixeira, who was 21 at the time of his alleged actions, was essentially a child. They also reportedly said he was bullied as a child, and that he is autistic and “severely stunted by his disabilities.”

The Justice Department, however, sought 17 years, saying he “perpetrated one of the most significant and consequential violations of the Espionage Act in American history.”

Teixeira reportedly apologized for his actions before sentencing.

“I am sorry for all the harm that I have brought and I have caused … all of the responsibilities and consequences fall on my shoulders,” he reportedly said.

Among other revelations, Teixeira’s disclosures showed that the U.S. has boots on the ground in Ukraine, the U.S. the Biden administration spied on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and that the war there was going worse for Ukraine that officials were saying publicly—while shoveling more than $100 billion toward that effort.

But instead of being hailed as a whistleblower for exposing Biden’s lies and malfeasance, mainstream media outlets and Democrat politicians have accused him of being a traitor. The New York Times and government-funded publication Bellingcat went as far as help the FBI identify Teixeira as the alleged leaker.

Since then, the FBI has reportedly been visiting the homes of people who posted stories about the leaked Pentagon documents in an “intimidating” attempt to remove such content from the internet.

The judge presiding over Teixeira’s case also issued an unconstitutional order for reporters and other third parties to destroy Teixeira’s sentencing memorandum, which was apparently inadvertently filed on the public court docket when it was supposed to be sealed.

The judge rescinded her unconstitutional order a day later.

Report: Melania Trump Declines to Meet w/ Jill Biden Due to Mar-a-Lago Raid

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Donald Trump and Joe Biden may be cooperating for a smooth transition of power—with the two set to have lunch at the White House on Wednesday—but incoming First Lady Melania Trump hasn’t forgotten what happened to her family in 2022, when Biden’s Justice Department raided her home.

The New York Post reported Monday that Melania has declined to meet with First Lady Jill Biden, due in large part to the FBI’s 2022 raid of her home.

According to the Post, the first lady typically hosts her successor for tea in the White House. The Post noted that Melania received a tour from then-First Lady Michelle Obama after Trump won the 2016 election.

But now, “Jill Biden isn’t someone Melania needs to meet,” an anonymous source told the Post.

“She ain’t going,” a source familiar with Melania’s decision reportedly added. “Jill Biden’s husband authorized the FBI snooping through her underwear drawer. The Bidens are disgusting.”

Not only did the FBI snoop through Melania’s private belongings; the bureau also authorized deadly force to be used at the 2022 raid. The FBI’s “operations order” for the Mar-a-Lago raid even authorized the FBI to “engage” with Trump’s Secret Service guards.

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home was raided in connection with the DOJ’s investigation into the former president’s alleged mishandling of classified documents. The investigation led to multiple charges against Trump by special counsel Jack Smith.

However, the case was thrown out by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon in July, after she found Smith had been illegally appointed to the role.

Smith appealed Cannon’s ruling, but the appeal looks to be moot in the wake of Trump’s 2024 election victory.

Trump Names Two Big ‘Mikes’ to Help Shape Foreign Policy in New Administration

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) President-elect Donald Trump announced his selection of Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla., to be the national security adviser in his new administration and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee to serve in the crucial spot as top diplomat for Israel, one of America’s closest allies abroad.

Together, the two will have a sizeable impact in reshaping Trump’s “peace through strength” foreign policy after the Biden administration has presided over a world on fire with major conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, alongside a growing threat from China.

“Mike has been a strong champion of my America First Foreign Policy agenda, and will be a tremendous champion of our pursuit of Peace through Strength,” Trump said in a statement about Waltz.

He touted Waltz’s litany of distinguished military accolades and credentials, including 27 years of service in the Army Special Forces as a Green Beret, where he retired as a colonel.

Waltz “was deployed multiple times in combat for which he was awarded four Bronze Stars, including two with Valor,” he added.

While serving as a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Waltz has additionally become “an expert on the threats posed by China, Russia, Iran, and global terrorism.”

Huckabee, who was a GOP primary rival of Trump’s in his 2016 race, has been a prominent talk-show host on the Christian-oriented Trinity Broadcasting Network.

“Mike has been a great public servant, Governor, and Leader in Faith for many years,” Trump said in his statement about Huckabee.

“He loves Israel, and the people of Israel, and likewise, the people of Israel love him,” Trump added. “Mike will work tirelessly to bring about Peace in the Middle East!”

Huckabee’s daughter, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, served as Trump’s long-suffering press secretary for nearly half of his first term as president. She is currently following in her father’s footsteps as governor of Arkansas.

Israel has been engaged in a military operation in Gaza for the past year in the wake of the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist sneak attack by Hamas, which left an estimated 1,200 Israeli residents dead.

Just over 100 of the roughly 250 hostages that Hamas took remain unaccounted for. While some are presumed dead, dozens are still believed to be in captivity.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has generally been regarded as a Trump ally, despite friction between the two leaders following the disputed 2020 election in the U.S. Netanyahu was one of the first world leaders to congratulate Democrat Joe Biden, even with challenges still working their way through the courts.

Trump was reported to have shared some choice words about “Bibi” but later reconciled with him, meeting with Netanyahu earlier this year at his Mar-a-Lago estate in a show of solidarity.

Trump made significant gains in both the Jewish and Muslim vote during the 2024 election due to the civil unrest that the Biden administration’s lack of leadership on the Israeli conflict had helped usher in.  Sellers is the editor of Headline USA. Follow him at x.com/realbensellers.

Journalist Publishes Leaked Dossier on Potential Secretary of State Nominee Marco Rubio

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Independent reporter Ken Klippenstein has published information that Iran’s government allegedly stole from Donald Trump’s campaign in a hack—including an internal dossier the campaign put together about “Little” Marco Rubio, who’s reportedly in line to be Trump’s next Secretary of State.

Klippenstein published the Rubio dossier Tuesday, noting that other reporters refused to do so because the document allegedly came from Iran. Klippenstein made a similar decision to publish a dossier on Vice President-elect JD Vance in September, which resulted in the reporter being temporarily banned from Twitter/X.

Like the Vance dossier, the Rubio one isn’t particularly salacious. It does note the many disagreements Trump and Rubio have had over the years, and it lists the various weaknesses the Trump campaign perceived with him.

“Critics have suggested Rubio is known for his vanity, lightweight, and diminished Stature,” the dossier stated, referencing the “Little Marco” nickname Trump bestowed upon him in his 2016 campaign.

The dossier also noted Rubio’s support for Joe Biden in the wake of the 2020 election.

“On inauguration day, in January 2021, Rubio acknowledges Biden as ‘our new President’ and calls him a ‘man of tremendous empathy’; Rubio notes that he prays god will bless Biden with health, strength, and wisdom,” the dossier stated.

Additionally, the dossier noted more potentially serious issues, such as that “Rubio’s family has ties to drug dealing and criminal activity.”

The dossier comes as Rubio is set to become the next Secretary of State, according to the New York Times.

“Mr. Trump could still change his mind at the last minute, the people said, but appeared to have settled on Mr. Rubio, whom he also considered when choosing his running mate this year,” the Times reported Monday.

Rubio’s impending appointment has been met with outrage from MAGA diehards.

“Marco Rubio is a disaster. Might as well give Liz Cheney the State Department. Awful sign,” said libertarian commentator Dave Smith.

Larger Than Fort Knox: Inside North America’s Most Advanced Gold Depository

(Money Metals News Service) In 2010, Stefan Gleason founded Money Metals Exchange with the vision of providing a trusted source for gold and silver investments.

Joined by his brother Mike Gleason and brother-in-law Clint Siegner, the Money Metals leadership team aimed to make precious metals more accessible to investors as a safeguard against inflation and economic instability.

By offering a two-way market for gold and silver priced close to melt value, Money Metals helps customers avoid excessive premiums.

The Largest Gold Depository in the West

Money Metals Exchange Depository

Money Metals Exchange has now opened the largest precious metals depository west of New York in Eagle, Idaho. This impressive, expandable 37,000-square-foot facility—double the size of Fort Knox—sets a new standard in the industry with cutting-edge security measures and internal controls.

The facility includes top-of-the-line Class 3 vaults, physical barriers, motion and vibration sensors, AI facial recognition, laser curtains, and a team of heavily armed, highly trained security personnel.

Unlike Fort Knox, the Money Metals Depository undergoes regular audits, providing full transparency to clients. It’s also insured by Lloyd’s of London, ensuring that assets stored here are thoroughly protected.

The flexibility to choose between having metals shipped directly or securely stored in the depository makes this program an easy, reliable way to invest.

Loans Against Gold & Silver, Plus IRA Options

Money Metals provides a loan program that allows clients to borrow against their stored gold or silver for business purposes. This program enables customers to access liquidity without having to sell their assets or incur capital gains taxes.

Additionally, by partnering with IRA custodians, Money Metals helps clients hold physical gold and silver within IRAs, preserving tax advantages while providing tangible asset security.

Promoting Sound Money Public Policies

Beyond providing investment services, Money Metals is committed to sound money policies through the Sound Money Defense League.

This organization actively promotes legislation at both state and federal levels to affirm gold and silver as legal tender, advocating for these assets’ rightful place in the U.S. economy. This mission aligns with the values of many Money Metals customers, who provide strong grassroots support for these initiatives.

A Trusted Leader in Precious Metals

Money Metals Exchange is not only a precious metals dealer but also a partner in trust and transparency. With fair pricing, fast shipping, and dedicated customer service, they offer a one-stop shop for gold and silver investors.

Here’s What’s Going on With Gold & Silver

(Jesse Colombo, Money Metals News Service) Gold fell 2.42% today in continuation of last week’s price action. Gold is experiencing a normal pullback after its whopping 50% rise this year. I’m not worried one bit. I’m now watching $2,600 in COMEX futures and the uptrend line as key support levels. Ideally, I’d like to see a bounce from here.

Gold Futures 1D COMEX Money Metals Exchange

After a breakout attempt on October 18th, silver got slammed back below the key $32 to $33 technical zone. I’m annoyed and frustrated by what may well be manipulation. If it is, regulators simply don’t care and turn a blind eye to it.

Despite that, silver is still in a confirmed uptrend and up nearly 40% this year. I’m waiting for another breakout attempt. For now, we just have to wait a bit longer.

Silver USD 1D OANDA Uptrend Money Metals Exchange

I can see a lot of discouragement, frustration, and boredom taking hold within the precious metals community once again, and I want to urge everyone to keep the faith.

After gold and silver’s 50% rise in the past year, a pullback is normal and not the end of the world. Gold is ultimately heading to $5,000, $10,000, $15,000+, while I expect silver to hit several hundred dollars per ounce as global debt and the money supply continue their inexorable rise.

The stark reality is that Trump isn’t going to save the world. Even if he could theoretically “save” the U.S. (which I don’t foresee happening), he has zero influence on overly-indebted Europe, Japan, China, Canada, Australia, etc.

We all need to accept that pullbacks are a natural part of this long-term gold and silver bull market and the unraveling of the unsustainable Keynesian monetary experiment.

The key is to stay calm and not overreact when these inevitable dips happen. Every epic bull market or asset has experienced pullbacks—Tesla, Amazon, Bitcoin, the Nasdaq 100, and even U.S. housing prices. They all consolidate and regroup periodically, and precious metals are no different.

This consolidation is actually positive; it’s a chance to accumulate more physical gold and silver while prices remain steady. Few of us are fully prepared for the balloon to go up just yet, so take advantage of these gold and silver “sales.”

As you can see, the S&P 500 has experienced several significant pullbacks during this ongoing bull market, yet it has rebounded each time, now achieving an impressive 809% gain:

S&P500 E Mini Futures 1M CME Money Metals Exchange

One factor that virtually guarantees that gold and silver will continue to rise over the long run is the non-stop surge of the U.S. and global money supply, which is what fuels inflation.

No president in modern history has ever addressed this elephant in the room, nor do I expect Trump to. The best bet is to expect this trend to continue during Trump’s term and beyond.

US M2 Money Supply Federal Reserve Money Metals Exchange

In conclusion, while gold and silver are experiencing a temporary pullback, history shows that all major bull markets have corrections along the way—and they often emerge stronger.

Just as the S&P 500, Bitcoin, Apple, and Nvidia have recovered from significant downturns to reach new highs, precious metals are also consolidating before their next upward movement.

The relentless expansion of the U.S. money supply and rising global debt remain fundamental forces driving the gold and silver long-term uptrend. Now is the time to remain calm and take advantage of this consolidation phase to accumulate more physical gold and silver.

Rather than being discouraged by adverse short-term price movements, let’s focus on the bigger picture: a powerful uptrend that points to substantial gains for gold and silver in the years ahead.

Blaze Journalist Pleads Guilty to J6 Charges after Judge Deems Him ‘Active Participant’ in Uprising

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) After a judge deemed Blaze Media’s Steve Baker an “active participant” in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill uprising, Baker pled guilty Tuesday to four misdemeanor charges in relation to the event.

Baker was an independent journalist during the Jan. 6 protest, but was hired by Blaze before the Justice Department charged him in February—making him do a perp walk for the world to see.

Baker filed a motion for selective prosecution, arguing that the DOJ targeted conservative journalists while allowing liberal ones to document the Jan. 6 protests scot-free. But last month, Obama-appointed judge Christopher Cooper denied his motion—deeming him an active participant in the Jan. 6 chaos, as opposed to a passive observer.

In his decision, Judge Cooper compared Baker’s actions to those of freelance journalist Luke Mogelson, who also entered the Capitol on Jan. 6 to document the event. Mogelson published an article titled Among the Insurrectionists for the New Yorker on Jan. 15, 2021.

“Unlike Baker, Mogelson did not disregard the instructions of Capitol police or antagonize them by repeatedly asking, ‘Are you going to use that [gun] on us?’ Mogelson did not tell those inside the Capitol to ‘Look out your windows b**ches, look what’s coming’ as he approached,” Judge Cooper said on Oct. 25.

“Nor did Mogelson express regret that he did not ‘steal the[] computers’ in Representative Pelosi’s office. And Mogelson did not subsequently express approval of the events at the Capitol as Baker did. These alleged statements paint Baker as an ‘active participant’ in the events of January 6, not a ‘passive observer,’ which bears on his ‘relative culpability.’”

Baker said he made the decision to plead guilty when his motion for Judge Cooper to reconsider was denied. He said he wasn’t going to be put through a “shaming exercise.”

Baker is set to be sentenced on March 25.

Baker’s guilty plea follows the September 2023 conviction of reporter Stephen Horn for his participation in Jan. 6. In that case, the government argued that Horn participated in the Capitol storming simply because he was allegedly heard chanting “USA!” at one point—ignoring the fact that undercover officers also chanted “USA!,” along with urging other protestors to “Go! Go! Go!” and to “Keep going! Keep going!” as they entered the Capitol building.

Headline USA understands there are more than 20 other reporters who, like Horn and Baker, entered the Capitol on Jan. 6, but aren’t facing charges. Headline USA reviewed some of their names, but is withholding them so they won’t be targeted, too.

Along with Horn and Baker, the DOJ also charged Infowars host Owen Shroyer with disorderly conduct and entering a restricted area of Capitol grounds.

In Shroyer’s case, he violated terms of a deferred prosecution agreement stemming from a December 2019 arrest for shouting during a House Judiciary Committee impeachment hearing. Shroyer’s deferred prosecution agreement entailed him agreeing to do community service and follow certain conditions, such as not engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct on Capitol grounds.

While Shroyer may not have been prosecuted solely for his journalism, the DOJ nevertheless successfully pushed for a jail sentence for him—even though he never entered the Capitol. In doing so, DOJ prosecutors cited his First Amendment-protected activity as a reason to put him in jail.

“The First Amendment is no bar to the Court’s consideration of Shroyer’s words and actions at sentencing,” the DOJ argued.

Horn received probation, while Shroyer recently got out of prison after serving most of his 60-day sentence.
