MURDOCK: Left’s Bicameral Justice Serves Double Dose of Tier-any

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) Many things human come in pairs. Eyes, ears, hands, feet, and lungs appear in twos. Even a single nose features two nostrils. Similar examples should be easy to ponder.

In this context, America’s new, two-track justice system might be perfectly natural: One for the Left—in which they suffer few consequences, if any, for their misdeeds—and one for the Right, in which arrests, trials, and prison sentences are routine.

After the Supreme Court’s current term ends, masons should spend this summer re-chiseling the marble above its columns. Out with “Equal Justice Under Law.” In with “Bipolar Justice for All!”

Black Lives Matter and Antifa thugs on the Left spent the summer of 2020 yanking statues from pedestals, torching police precincts, and otherwise unleashing total mayhem. Then-Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., promoted a legal-defense fund to free arrestees. Few paid any price for the “fiery but mostly peaceful” George Floyd riots.

The Jan. 6 hoodlums on the Right who shattered windows and smashed doors to breach the U.S. Capitol deserve serious prison time. But other protesters naively entered after Capitol Police waved them in.

“Hey, look. It’s open house!” some might have thought.

Many of these accidental tourists are in huge trouble. Arkansas resident Daniel Hatcher entered the Capitol, snapped some photos for two minutes, and walked out. The FBI arrested Hatcher in Little Rock last Feb. 13. He now faces federal charges.

Left-wing Deep State functionaries John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, Peter Strzok, and Andrew Weissmann, advanced the Russia Hoax, which bedeviled the Trump administration and divided America for three years. Each of these men scored a book contract and a TV deal. Literally.

On the Right, Russiagate ensnared Trump aides Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, George Papadopoulos, Gen. Michael Flynn, and Roger Stone. All were sentenced to prison. Trump pardoned Flynn and Stone. Gates served house arrest. Manafort and Papadopoulos went to the slammer.

The quintessence of these two systems involves 2016’s presidential nominees and how they separately tried to influence that election.

On the Left, Hillary Clinton’s campaign paid $175,000 to Democrat law firm Perkins Coie, which engaged opposition-research shop Fusion GPS.

It hired former British spy Christopher Steele. He wrote a baseless “Dirty Dossier” that hallucinated ties between Trump and the Kremlin. Team Clinton leaked this fraudulent report, which Buzzfeed published. And the Russia Hoax was off to the races.

On the Right, Trump was accused of reimbursing his former attorney, Michael Cohen, for paying porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 to clam up about an alleged affair with Trump that both of them have denied.

As former Justice Department official John B. Daukas wrote in the American Spectator: “So, Hillary Clinton is found to be liable for mislabeling payments for the Steele Dossier as legal fees and gets an $8,000 civil fine; Trump has been found guilty of mislabeling non-disclosure payments as legal fees and is a convicted felon.”

As Yogi Berra might have said: “Only in America.”

Clinton went on to write books, deliver lectures, and whine loudly about why she lost to a real-estate magnate and TV personality on his first political campaign. Notwithstanding emotional scars, Hillary is out a whopping eight grand.

Trump, meanwhile, endured a six-week trial that kept him off the campaign trail for four days each week, cost him undisclosed millions in—to coin a phrase—legal expenses, and added abundant stress to his already high-pressure life.

He awaits sentencing on July 11 and could receive four years for each of the 34 counts on which he was convicted. Total: 136 years in the big house.

But is this really so wrong?

If good things come in pairs, perhaps this applies to justice.

Rather than complain about two paths to justice, one Left and one Right, maybe conservatives should celebrate this development. After all, the truth about pecs also might apply to justice systems: “One is not enough, and three are too many.”

Ex-NASCAR Driver Ratted Out by Fan, Faces Multiple Felonies for Jan. 6 Participation

(Headline USA) Retired NASCAR driver Tighe Scott, his adult son and two other Pennsylvania men are facing felony charges stemming from confrontations with police during the Jan. 6, 2021, uprising at the U.S. Capitol.

Scott, 75, of Pen Argyl, and three Saylorsburg residents—Jarret Scott, 48; Scott Slater Sr., 56, and his son Scott Alex Slater Jr., 26—were arrested Wednesday by the FBI.

Court records did not list attorneys for any of the men, and prosecutors said Thursday they did not know if any of the men had retained attorneys.

Tipsters helped identify the men after authorities posted photos and videos online, including one who recognized Tighe Scott from his racing days.

The four men entered the restricted grounds of the Capitol and physically engaged with police attempting to hold the line of protesters, according to the release.

During this time, Tighe Scott allegedly struck police riot shields and attempted to rip one out of an officer’s hands while the two Slaters—both holding golf clubs—allegedly pushed and resisted against police shields.

When an officer pushed Tighe Scott off of him, Scott stumbled backward into his son, who then began screaming profanities at officers, according to the release. Meanwhile, Scott Slater Jr. allegedly threw a flagpole and an “Area Closed” sign at officers, investigators said.

Tighe Scott and Jarret Scott were both charged with two felonies—obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder; and assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers—as well as five misdemeanor counts.

Scott Slater Jr. faces three felony counts—obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder; assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers; and assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers with a deadly or dangerous weapon.

His father faces a felony charge of obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder, and both Slaters face several misdemeanor counts.

Tighe Scott competed in dirt racing events before moving into the NASCAR Winston Cup Series in the late 1970s and early ’80s. He didn’t win any races but made multiple top-10 finishes and raced in the Daytona 500 on several occasions.

Pageants to Feature Obese Miss Alabama, Trans Immigrant Miss Maryland

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In order to not offend, Americans across the country have decided that they will invite unhealthy or mutilated people to compete in and win beauty pageants.

On two separate occasions recently have such events taken place.

Plus-sized model, Sara Milliken, 23, was crowned “Miss Alabama” on Memorial Day weekend, despite being extraordinarily obese, the Daily Mail reported.

Milliken celebrated her victory by telling women that they “can do anything they put their mind to,” noting that she has big plans for the future.

“I plan to shatter glass ceilings in pageantry to create a path for other women to chase their dreams—no matter their shape or size.”

According to the Miss Alabama pageant organizers, appearance is not an important consideration when it comes to judging beauty.

“Braces, glasses, skin problems, varying heights, weights and appearances, are all a part of creating the special and unique individual that you are and that we want to celebrate,” the website reads.

Milliken will advance to the National American Miss pageant finals in Florida in November.

Meanwhile, another pageant organization, Miss USA, has crowned a transgender named Bailey Anne Kennedy as “Miss Maryland USA,” according to a Daily Wire report.

Kennedy said it was a symbolic victory for the entire LGBT movement.

It was a “whirlwind because I knew it was bigger than me,” Kennedy noted.

“I knew that it was going to mean a lot for all the LGBTQ kids out there who might feel like they don’t belong in a box—like me growing up.”

For Kennedy, 31, the victory also marked an end to “discrimination” against people beyond the organization’s traditional age limitations.

“I felt confident in my own skin at 31, which is past the old age limit, which is 28—as you know, Miss Universe Organization lifted the restriction now—so every woman of all ages can compete,” Kennedy noted.

Completing the woke trifecta, Kennedy noted in a video that immigration status was another factor that might earn intersectional privilege points in the competition, despite the fact that it specifically includes the word “USA” in the title.

$500 Trump Bills Proposed by Rep. Paul Gosar

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Rep. Paul Gosar, R–Ariz., introduced a measure in his press release that would order the printing of $500 bills with a portrait of Donald Trump on them.

The politician called the measure the “Treasury Reserve Unveiling Memorable Portrait (TRUMP) Act.”

“The Secretary of the Treasury shall print Federal reserve notes in the denomination of $500 and, notwithstanding section 5114(b) of title 31, United States Code, such notes shall feature a portrait of the 45th President of the United States,” the proposal said.

Trump, the presumptive 2024 presidential nominee from the Republican Party, is seeking to defeat Joe Biden during this year’s election.

“As Bidenflation continues to devalue our currency, the issuance of $500 bills featuring President Trump by the Treasury offers several practical advantages. First, larger-value currency will empower Americans with the freedom of more tangible options to save and exchange goods and services,” Gosar said.

He then gave another reason why the United States needs a large-denomination currency.

“The absence of large-denomination currency issued by the Treasury encourages Americans to rely on digital banking, which faces greater vulnerability to surveillance and censorship,” Gosar said.

Additionally, the bill itself will become a valuable item for collectors.

“Furthermore, from a collector’s perspective, these $500 Trump bills will become highly sought after, generating revenue for the government through increased demand for numismatic items. Collectors often covet currency with unique designs and historical significance and bills featuring the very popular 45th President will attract considerable attention from collectors,” he said.

Gosar then highlighted once again that this would benefit the government.

“This will no doubt create a market for the $500 Trump bills far beyond their face value and increase the seigniorage earnings of the government, thus increasing overall revenues,” he said.

Iconic Wheel of Fortune Host Pat Sajak Surprises Contestants in Final Show

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Pat Sajak bade farewell to Wheel of Fortune on June 7, 2024, after hosting the legendary game show for more than 8,000 episodes across 41 seasons.

The episode featured footage from Sajak’s 1981 debut and revealed “Chicago, Illinois” as the first puzzle answer, the New York Post reported. Even though a round was cut from the program to make room for Sajak’s goodbye message, Sajak gave each contestant $5,000 to make up for it.

“Well, the time has come to say goodbye. It’s been an incredible privilege to be invited into millions of homes night after night, year after year, decade after decade,” he said.

Even though Sajak is an outspoken conservative, during his speech, he said that he was proud of making the show “a safe place for family fun,” with no social issues or politics.

“Kids learned their letters, where people from other countries honed their English skills, where families came together along with friends and neighbors, and entire generations. What an honor to play even a small part in all of that. Thank you for allowing me into your lives,” he said.

Sajak called every contestant “the real [star] of the show,” thanked the staff for making his “job so much easier,” said that he would miss his “professional half,” Vanna White and paid tribute to his wife, Lesly Brown, and their children, Maggie and Patrick.

Sajak has been nominated for various daytime and primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Game Show Host, which he won thrice, the news source reported.

He was presented with the Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011.

In 2019, Sajak became the longest-serving game show host, surpassing Bob Barker’s The Price Is Right 35-year tenure and being recognized by the Guinness World Records for the achievement.

Before becoming the game show host, Sajak worked as a radio disc jockey and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, where he joined Armed Forces Radio Saigon and shouted “Good morning, Vietnam!” to open up his daily show.

EXCLUSIVE: Jim Jordan Reacts to Shocking Report of Juror Misconduct in Trump Trial

Earlier in the day, Judge Juan Merchan wrote a letter to Trump’s attorneys and prosecutors with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, notifying them of a Facebook comment that was discovered under a routine court post dated May 29, the day before a jury convicted Trump of 34 felonies.

The commenter, identifying himself as a juror’s cousin by the name of Michael Anderson, appeared to offer some advance inside knowledge about the verdict.

“Well, if that happened, that’s wrong,” Jordan responded when asked about the breaking news. “I have not heard that and I don’t know if it’s true, but you obviously aren’t supposed to be doing that, so we’ll have to see.“

In his letter, Merchan claimed he had just learned of the comment.

“Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System’s public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention,” the judge wrote. “The comment, now labeled as one week old, responded to a routine UCS notice, posted on May 29.”

Merchan’s letter did not clarify whether the person who posted the comment was indeed related to a juror.

The judge, a Biden donor, was widely criticized for his biased rulings throughout the trial and was even suspected of receiving bribes through his daughter, whose digital marketing firm drew millions of dollars from Democrat politicians—some of whom became involved directly in the case.

Merchan’s brief letter did not outline any sort of follow up steps, although it stands to reason that the court will investigate the matter and would declare a mistrial if, in fact, juror misconduct were established.

The concern provides yet another avenue for appeal to Trump, whom many legal experts believe will ultimately see the case overturned, although the disruption to his campaign and political fallout from the conviction have yet to be determined.

At the Friday night fundraiser in North Carolina, Jordan offered high praise for Trump, with whom he has formed a close bond, touting his tenacity in particular.

“His attitude in light of everything they’ve done to him is just phenomenal,” Jordan told the audience.

The charter chairman of the House Freedom Caucus recalled an anecdote from the night Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate was raided by the FBI—an unprecedented abuse of power at the time—which took place shortly before the 2022 midterm election.

“There are certain times where you think, ‘This is not supposed to happen in this country,'” Jordan said of his reaction after seeing the news unfold on television with his wife.

When he called Trump, however, the reaction was far from what one might have expected:

“Jim, this is the best thing that’s ever happened to our party,” Trump reportedly told him. “My numbers are gonna go up.”

During an exclusive interview with Headline USA, Jordan said House Republicans had received a response on Friday after sending a letter last week to Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg and his lead prosecutor, requesting that they testify before the House Weaponization Subcommittee.

“They just sent us a letter back today saying they’re willing to talk to us, so we’ll see,” said Jordan. “But we may have to, you know, go with a subpoena to get him [Bragg] to testify as well.”

The House is also investigating Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who has publicly quarreled with Jordan and leveled ad hominem attacks against him for his oversight efforts.

Jordan noted, however, that as of this week, “Willis’s case is falling apart” following an appellate court’s decision to suspend the trial until October while evaluating whether she is ethically fit to continue as prosecutor.

The House is also attempting to impose accountability on special counsel Jack Smith. However, a proposed bill likely faces steep odds of clearing the Democrat-run Senate, even though it ironically vests greater authority in the upper chamber to close a constitutional loophole exploited by Attorney General Merrick Garland.

“We’re trying to get legislation out to say that any special counsel who wasn’t approved by the Senate gets no funds,” Jordan said. “It‘s the way to get at this Jack Smith and the ridiculous things he’s done.”

Florida Judge Aileen Cannon has similarly scheduled a June 21 hearing for Trump and his co-defendants in the Mar-a-Lago case to argue that Smith’s appointment was unlawful since he was never confirmed by the Senate—a legal theory first floated by former Attorney General Ed Meese.

Jordan downplayed calls for the House to rescind two contempt of Congress resolutions passed by Democrats in the previous session, saying the move was unlikely to have any effect on the already prosecuted cases.

Two former Trump advisers—Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon—became the first people prosecuted and convicted under the law in roughly four decades, fueling more outrage and allegations of two-tiered justice. Navarro is currently incarcerated, and Bannon is expected to report to jail by the end of the month.

In the wake of Trump’s felony convictions, House Republicans have faced brutal criticism from some for their inaction, with Jordan, in particular, bearing the brunt of it over his failure to live up to his promise as a GOP attack dog—instead becoming the champion of the “strongly worded letter.”

Full-Time Jobs Vanish Under Biden; Americans Desperate for Anything

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The Bureau of Labor Statistics data released on June 7, 2024, showed that many Americans took up part-time jobs last month because full-time jobs disappeared because of destructive Joe Biden’s economy.

The BLS revealed that around 133.3 million people in the United States had full-time jobs in May, which was 625,000 less than the month before. However, the number of people having part-time jobs surged by 286,000 to just over 28 million.

As a result of the loss of part-time jobs to 161 million, the total number of American workers collapsed by 408,000.

In May, despite the total decline in employed people, 272,000 new nonfarm payroll jobs were added while the unemployment rate ticked up to 4%, a separate court of the number of jobs in the economy showed, the Daily Caller reported.

The news source reported that the job additions last month were led by a 68,000 increase in the healthcare sector and a 43,000 and 42,000 gain in the government and leisure and hospitality sectors, respectively.

It was also discovered that the number of foreign-born workers employed in the U.S. skyrocketed last month, rising by 637,000 for the year to nearly 32 million, while native-born workers declined by almost 300,000.

The reason why that happened was that much of the job growth under Biden has gone to foreign-born workers at the expense of native-born workers, which led to illegal aliens flooding this country and bolstering job numbers.

Additionally, around 433,000 people left the labor force last month compared to the month before, with 100,000 of them being discouraged workers. The number of people having multiple jobs increased by 16,000 in May to just under 8.4 million.

In recent months, the economy has shown signs of slowing, with gross domestic product growth in the first quarter of 2024 being revised down from 1.6% to 1.3% and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta revising down its estimate for second-quarter growth from 4.2% at the start of May to just 1.8% as of June 3.

“This is the biggest drop in full-time employment since December 2023… How is this a “strong” labor market?” the Kobeissi Letter wrote.

Russia Sends Ships Off America’s Coast

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Russia’s navy will send three ships and a nuclear-powered submarine to Cuba next week to conduct military drills with the communist country.

The frigate “GORSHKOV,” the nuclear-powered submarine “KAZAN,” the “PASHIN” fleet sea tanker and the salvage tug “NIKOLAI CHIKER” will arrive at the port of Havana on June 12, 2024, and will stay until June 17, 2024, Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, the Daily Wire reported.

“[The visit was] consistent with the historically friendly relations existing between Cuba and the Russian Federation and strictly abides by the international regulations [so] their stop-over in our country does not represent any threat to the region,” Cuba said.

In its statement, Cuba said Russian sailors would participate in the planned training exercises and “go on a tour around places of historical and cultural interest.”

The military exercises will include “heightened naval and air activity near the United States,” an American official said.

“While we are disappointed that Cuba has likely agreed to host visiting Russian ships, we are not surprised,” the official said, later confirming the statement from Cuba that the submarine “is not carrying nuclear weapons and poses no direct threat to the national security of the United States.”

Even though these types of exercises are common, they have “ratcheted up because of U.S. support to Ukraine and exercise activity in support of our NATO allies,” the official added.

The most recent development in the U.S.’s support for Ukraine was Joe Biden’s decision to authorize Ukrainian forces to use American weapons to attack targets inside Russia only if the strikes are defensive, the news source reported.

Ukraine already used this opportunity earlier this week by using a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) to destroy Russian S-300 and S-400 surface-to-air missile systems that were initially designed to shoot down aircraft but have been used to attack the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.

Google Snubs 160,000 Normandy Heroes, Celebrates Lesbians Instead

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Instead of acknowledging, celebrating and honoring an estimated 160,000 soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy, the far-left Google decided to celebrate a female writer who became popular only because leftist elites pushed her works, which were about her lesbian relationships.

Google spent the 80th anniversary of D-Day “Celebrating Jeanne Córdova” by inserting a cartoon image of the lesbian author and activist on the main page of the leftist search engine that hides explicitly conservative websites from people’s results, the Gateway Pundit reported.

Córdova died in 2016 at the age of 67 in Los Angeles, far from German machine-gun fire, according to the Wikipedia page Google pushed as its top result for the writer who became recognized only for her sexuality.

The far-left company wrote on the “doodle” that it chose Córdova because of the company’s embrace of LGBT “pride” throughout June.

“In honor of Pride Month, today’s Doodle celebrates lesbian Chicana activist, feminist and author Jeanne Córdova, who is widely known for her leadership in the LGBTQ+ rights movement,” the company wrote.

People who clicked on its celebration of the leftist political activist were also invited by Google to “learn more” about her.

Google also included quotes from the author, such as “It’s the job of the young to push the societal envelope” and “It is wonderful to have had a life’s cause.” The author said the last phrase before she comfortably died, far away from mortar and artillery fire.

The company also wrote about how the author was “bringing people together,” despite that her sexual orientation and radical political activism were doing completely the opposite.

“Apparently, screaming loudly about one’s sexual desires is as brave or braver than exiting the ramp of a Higgins Boat and meeting the MG 42 and its 1,500-rounds-per-minute firing rate,” the news source noted.

Corrupt Ariz. ‘Gov.’ Katie Hobbs Investigated for Bribery, Fraud

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was reported that a corrupt Democrat Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes will unexpectedly launch a criminal investigation into Katie Hobbs, D-Ariz., over a pay-to-play scheme.

These allegations came up after it was discovered that a dark money group received significant donations, the Gateway Pundit reported. As a result of that, the group was used for Hobbs’ inaugural events, potentially influencing state contract decisions.

GOP State Legislators called Hobb’s ethical conduct into question after she solicited donations of up to $250,000 using a 501(c)(4) nonprofit group for inaugural events, the news source reported.

The nonprofit used by Hobbs shares an address with Coppersmith Brockelman PLC, the Democrat law firm that represented her in Kari Lake’s lawsuit challenging the results of the 2022 midterm election.

Sunshine Residential Homes and its affiliates were among the donors to Hobbs’s inauguration, contributing a lot of money and later receiving a rate increase for their youth group home services.

“DCS approved what amounts to a nearly 60% increase in the rate that Sunshine Residential Homes Inc. charges to care for a child for a day, meaning potentially millions of dollars more going to the company at taxpayers’ expense,” the Arizona Republic reporter, Stacey Barchenger, said.

Sunshine Residential Homes was the only standard group home provider that was approved for any rate increase during Hobbs’s tenure.

In December 2022, Sunshine Residential Homes initially sought a 20% rate increase, which DCS denied on Feb. 6, 2023. Three days later, the company donated $100,000 to a dark-money fund created by Hobbs’ campaign.

The company made two six-figure donations totaling 200,000 to the Arizona Democratic Party when Hobbs was running for governor. Sunshine’s CEO and his wife also personally donated nearly the maximum amount, 5,000 each, to her campaign. After the election, the company donated another $200,000, with $100,000 going directly to Hobbs’s inauguration fund through her dark money group.

Additionally, Sunshine’s Director of Programs, who had previously worked for DCS for a decade before joining the company in 2022, also donated $5,000 to Hobbs’s campaign on the same day as his boss.

State Sen. T. J. Shope, R-Ariz., wrote about the crime, urging Mayes to punish Hobbs.

“The Criminal Division of the Attorney General’s Office is statutorily authorized to investigate the allegations and offenses outlined in your letter. To that end, the Attorney General’s Office will be opening an investigation,” Mayes’ criminal division chief, Nick Klingerman, responded to the politician in a letter.
