Delta DEI Chief Cancels Non-Inclusive ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Kyra Lynn Johnson, Delta Air Lines’s chief officer for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Social Impact, announced that the company was abandoning its use of the phrase “ladies and gentlemen” in gate announcements, according to Fox News Digital.

Johnson first pitched the gate announcement change during a February 2021 panel with other DEI insiders about gender inclusivity.

“So we’re beginning to take a hard look at things like our gatehouse announcements—you know, we welcome ‘ladies and gentlemen’—and we’ve asked ourselves, ‘Is that as gender inclusive as we want to be?’” Johnson said during the panel.

“You know, we’re looking at some legacy language that exists in some of our employee manuals and getting to the root of the way some things are described and saying, ‘Does that actually send a message of inclusivity?’” she added.

Delta started encouraging their employees to avoid language that “suggest[ed] a gender binary” in a 2020 inclusive language guide.

“Delta encourages our people to use language that is inclusive of everyone as our global customer base includes a broad range of diversity in cultural backgrounds, identity and experiences,” a spokesperson said.

The company also stressed the importance of being “antiracist,” encouraging employees to read Ibram X. Kendi’s infamous How to be an Antiracist. It even began altering hiring practices to track DEI metrics and reevaluating how it spent “PAC dollars” by only contributing to political groups that support “justice” and “equity.”

Both terms have been appropriated by woke leftists to euphemistically denote forms of reverse racism in many contexts.

Johnson freely admitted that she made the changes despite complaints from many of the employees.

“Perhaps the greatest challenge had been normalizing those conversations,” she said.

“So, notice I said the company has set an expectation that those conversations are to be normalized … That doesn’t mean everyone feels that way,” she continued. “It doesn’t mean that everyone’s comfortable having those conversations.”

Lufthansa also retired “ladies and gentlemen,” replacing the phrase with more woke-friendly alternatives.

Texas Dems Flocking to Endorse Cruz Due to Opponent’s Stance on Crime, Immigration

() Three and a half years into an unprecedented border crisis impacting Texans in border communities and the state’s largest cities, high-profile Democrats are, for the first time, openly endorsing Sen. Ted Cruz.

Cruz, a Houston Republican, is running for reelection for his third term. He’s being challenged by U.S. Rep. Colin Allred, a Dallas Democrat, who is trailing in the polls, although the race remains too close for comfort.

While Cruz has been characterized by those on the Left as polarizing or extremist, those on the Right argue he’s a conservative stalwart championing their causes: pro-life, supporting traditional marriage, women’s rights, the Second Amendment and school choice, among other issues. Differing on these views doesn’t matter. Texas Democrats supporting Cruz argue that border security and combating crime are their top concerns.

Under the Biden–Harris administration, the greatest number of illegal border crossers have entered the U.S., with the bulk illegally entering in Texas, and increasing number of violent crimes being committed against Americans, the Center Square has reported.

Texans who have traditionally been Democrats or apolitical say they aren’t anymore after their loved one or friend was killed by an illegal foreign national solely in the country because of Biden–Harris policies or by a violent repeat offender released into their community by who they describe as activist Democratic judges.

Kim Ogg, the Democrat district attorney in Harris County, has repeatedly stood up to a progressive Democratic-controlled Harris County judge and commissioner’s court after they attempted to defund law enforcement, prompting the state to get involved.

As crime and public corruption reportedly increased under the former Democratic mayor and current Harris County judge, Ogg began working with Houston’s new mayor, John Whitmire, and the Republican attorney general’s office to combat both.

Crime is a top concern among voters in largely Democratic-controlled cities and small border communities in Texas.

While Allred and some Democratic politicians appear to have distanced themselves from Biden–Harris border policies, more Democrats are switching to vote Republican, running for office as Republicans, or endorsing a Republican, the Center Square reported.

This week at a law enforcement rally in Houston, Ogg made history by endorsing Cruz.

“We are seeing a problem at our border,” she said.

“My constituents hate crime and expect the government to keep them safe from criminals,” she added. “They deserve protection, but our country’s laws and policies don’t always work to that end.”

Ogg also highlighted the recent rape and murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray to make her point.

“No case has spotlighted our crime problem and shaken our city more poignantly,” she said.

The suspects—two Venezuelan illegals—had previously been “captured crossing the border illegally but were released from federal custody,” Ogg said.

Instead of being deported, they were released by the Biden-Harris administration through a parole program wearing ankle monitors, the Center Square reported.

“Had Senator Cruz’s Justice for Jocelyn Act been the law today, Jocelyn would be alive,” noted Ogg, who penned an op-ed with Cruz in support of a bill he filed to honor Nungaray.

Republicans had risen to the occasion in their efforts to secure the open border, even as Biden and border czar Kamala Harris had ignored the problem—or, worse yet, facilitated it.

Cruz “has taken action at a time when Americans want solutions, not excuses, about why Democrats and Republicans won’t work together,” Ogg said.

“I appreciate the Senator for reaching out to me, the top law enforcement official in Harris County and Democratic office holder, to work together to protect our nation’s children from predators who shouldn’t be roaming our streets,” she added. “Crime is bigger than partisanship.”

Another first for Cruz is a “Democrats for Cruz” coalition that includes lifelong Democratic border sheriffs and judges, law enforcement union leaders, teachers, farmers and parents. Many lifelong Democrats in the coalition say they will be voting Republican for the first time this November.

Endorsements for Cruz have come in from law enforcement associations in the Democratic-controlled cities of Austin, Houston, McAllen and San Antonio and Democratic-controlled counties of Bexar, Dallas, Harris, Hidalgo and Travis, among others.

They give the same reason: Allred voted against the POLICE Act, which makes the assault of a police officer a deportable offense. The bill was filed by 16 House Republicans after criminal aliens were increasingly allegedly targeting, assaulting and killing police officers. A similar bill was filed in the Senate but went nowhere under Democratic control.

Democrats at the border are also endorsing Cruz, including Zapata County Sheriff Raymundo Del Bosque, Presidio County Sheriff Danny Dominguez, Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson, Reeves County Sheriff Art Granado, Kenedy County Judge Charles Burns and Reeves County Judge Leo Hung. Many are from the 55 counties that declared an invasion, the Center Square exclusively reported.

“The crisis at our southern border threatens our communities and well-being every single day,” Judge Hung said.

“We used to live in a state where we could walk outside without fear of getting hurt,” he added. “Now, because of the policies of the National Democratic Party, we fear for our safety every time we step outside. I’ve been a Democrat all my life and will continue to be, but no one has fought harder to secure the border than Senator Ted Cruz, which is why I am endorsing him for reelection and look forward to his victory in November.”

Disney Exec. Overseeing Trump-Kamala Debate Is Harris’s Donor, Friend

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A high-ranking Disney executive overseeing ABC News operations — which is set to host possibly the only presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in September — turned out to be a donor to Harris’s campaign and her longtime friend.

The New York Times reported that Dana Walden currently serves as the co-chairman of Disney Entertainment, overseeing several of the company’s television endeavors, such as ABC News and ABC Entertainment. Walden donated to Harris’s various political campaigns in recent years.

She first met Harris in 1994, while their husbands, Matt Walden and Doug Emhoff, have known each other since the 1980s. Harris previously described Walden and her husband as “extraordinary friends.”

The Waldens started donating to Harris’s political campaigns when she ran for San Francisco District Attorney in 2003.

Additionally, they have hosted several fundraisers for Harris at their upscale Los Angeles home.

“In many ways, Dana and Matt are responsible for my marriage,” Harris said at a fundraiser held at the Waldens’ home in 2022.

ABC News disputed the idea that Dana Walden’s relationship with Harris is a clear example of a conflict of interest that could negatively impact Trump in the upcoming debate on Sept. 10, 2024. The company stated that Walden oversees 18 businesses across the vast Disney empire, is only involved in corporate matters, such as budgets and staff sizes, and is not involved in editorial decisions.

“ABC News has built its longstanding reputation on journalistic integrity. All editorial decisions are in the hands of ABC News management and the seasoned journalists and producers of ABC, who hold themselves to the highest journalistic standards,” the network said in the statement.

“Even the New York Times is calling this out. One more reason the debate with @ABC News is a set-up,” Sean Spicer of the Sean Spicer Show said.

New Info Suggests J6 DNC Pipe Bomb Might’ve Been Planted Minutes before Discovery

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) For more than the last three years, the FBI has told the public that the pipe bombs discovered outside the DNC and RNC headquarters on Jan. 6, 2021, had been planted in those respective locations the night before.

According to the FBI, those devices sat for some 17 until shortly before 1 p.m. on Jan. 6 , when a female pedestrian found the RNC pipe bomb. Then, the DNC pipe bomb was discovered by a plainclothes Capitol Police officer at 1:07 p.m.—right as violence at the Capitol was beginning.

As Headline USA revealed last month, the FBI had a suspect identified by Jan. 10, 2021, but never made any arrests.

The FBI’s narrative has raised questions as to how the Secret Service’s bomb-sniffing dogs missed the DNC pipe bomb when sweeping the building the morning of Jan. 6. Vice President-elect Kamala Harris travelled to the DNC at 11:25 a.m. that morning, when the pipe bomb was thought to be still sitting outside.

But new reports are calling the FBI’s narrative into question.

On Monday, Blaze Media reported that Congress is examining the possibility that the pipe bomb was planted outside the DNC midday on Jan. 6, when Vice President-elect Kamala Harris was inside the building.

“A senior congressional investigator told Blaze News the latest theory is that the DNC bomb was planted less than 15 minutes before it was discovered at 1:05 p.m.,” Blaze reported.

“That would mean the bomb was placed near a park bench on the southwest side of the DNC building 22 minutes before Harris was removed — not 17 hours earlier, as long claimed by the FBI.”

On Wednesday, investigative reporter Julie Kelly put more meat on the bone of Blaze’s intial article, releasing new footage showing an apparent law enforcement officer from Harris’s security detail exiting a DC Metro Police SUV at 12:51 p.m., and walking towards the area where the pipe bomb was found—with a bag in hand. Minutes later, the same officer walked back to the police vehicle with bag still in hand.

“What exactly was he doing? Did he set the device? And if he was acting on the up-and-up, how in the world did he not see a pipe bomb sitting right there?” Kelly asked.

For Revolver News’s Darren Beattie, who’s broken numerous stories on the pipe bomb case, Kelly’s footage makes it overwhelmingly likely that the FBI surveillance footage is fake and the bombs were actually planted not the evening before, but day of Jan. 6. Beattie has previously analyzed surveillance footage of the J5/6 pipe bomber, showing that the FBI has failed to release footage that would have shown the bomber planting the device.

When now-retired FBI official Steven D’Antuono was asked about the DNC surveillance footage last year, he pled ignorance.

“You know, the case agents describe—people put those videos together for us to kind of put out there. I wasn’t part of playing—you know, I wasn’t editing the videos or putting the videos together as the ADIC,” D’Antuono told Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky.

“I’m not sure. No one, you know, explained to me that there was—the reason why that would have been left out.”

At the time, D’Antuono also said that the pipe bombs were planted the night before.

“How confident are you that the individual depicted in the surveillance footage on January 5th set both of those pipe bombs in place?” Massie asked, to which D’Antuono replied: “So the video that we saw, I feel confident that by the video that we have, that that person planted those.”

Inflation Ticks Up in New Federal Data

() Newly released federal inflation data showed that the Producer Price Index, a leading marker of inflation, rose last month.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released the data, which showed a 0.1% increase in July, part of a 2.2% increase in the previous 12 months.

Notably, some goods have seen a major increase in the past 12 months, according to the data. Roasted coffee prices have increased 9.1% in the last year, dairy product prices rose 9.4%, and pork and “processed young chickens” prices rose 12.3% and 10.5% respectively.

Other goods saw a decrease. Corn prices dropped 28.3% in the same time period.

An increase in energy costs in particular helped fuel the overall increase.

“Prices for final demand goods rose 0.6 percent in July, the largest advance since a 1.1-percent jump in February,” BLS said.

“Nearly 60 percent of the broad-based increase in July can be traced to the index for final demand energy, which moved up 1.9 percent,” it continued. “Prices for final demand goods less foods and energy and for final demand foods also rose, 0.2 percent and 0.6 percent, respectively.”

Goods saw a significant rise that was partially offset by a smaller decline in the price of services. Even then, the cost of goods varied.

“A quarter of the July rise in the index for final demand goods is attributable to a 2.8 percent advance in prices for gasoline,” BLS said.

“The indexes for diesel fuel, meats, jet fuel, fresh fruits and melons, and basic organic chemicals also increased,” it added. “Conversely, prices for electric power decreased 1.1 percent. The indexes for fresh and dry vegetables and for steel mill products also moved down.”

A major drop in the stock market last week raised concerns about the future of the economy this year.

Prices have risen more than 20% since President Joe Biden took office. While inflation has slowed its increase in recent months, prices have not decreased.

Republicans have continued to blast the Biden administration for the increased costs, which are making it harder for many Americans to make ends meet.

“Biden–Harris Price Hikes continue to increase prices of goods and services, making it harder for small businesses and families to make ends meet,” Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., said in a statement after the data’s release.

“Every increase in costs is a burden for small businesses, and when these folks face the historic inflation caused by Biden–Harris Price Hikes, those skyrocketing costs can quickly force them under,” Scott added. “Under the failure of Bidenomics and the resulting Biden–Harris Price Hikes, the American Dream is growing further out of reach while families are having to choose which bills to pay this month and whether they can afford new school supplies for their children.”

House GOP to Probe Google and Facebook for Suppressing Trump Shooting News

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., announced Wednesday that he’s investigating Google and Facebook parent company Meta for seemingly suppressing information about the July 13 assassination attempt against Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Comer’s announcement follows Google’s response to a House Judiciary Committee inquiry about the matter.

According to the Judiciary Committee, Google admitted that results for Trump assassination searchers were suppressed—blaming the problem on a “bug.” Likewise, Meta has explained that it “configured its AI chatbot to avoid answering questions about the Trump rally shooting in an attempt to avoid distributing false information.”

Comer has more questions, he said Monday in his letters to Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg and Google CEO Sundar Pichai. In his letter, Comer told Zuckerberg that his Meta AI tool “ended up telling users that the shooting never happened.”

From Zuckerberg, Comer asked for all internal policies or any other documents related to how the Meta AI chatbot is designed, reviewed, managed, and updated to take into account and incorporate recent newsworthy events. From Pichai, he asked for similar documents about Google Search.

Comer seeks information by August 28.

Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, also has numerous questions, including about how long Google knew it had a “bug,” what other features were affected by the bug and what impact the shoddy search engine results had on Americans’ ability to obtain information about the July 13 assassination attempt.

Jordan has said Google is obligated to provide records about the issue pursuant to his committee’s Feb. 15, 2023 subpoena. Jordan’s committee has been investigating the extent to which tech companies censor content at the government’s behest.

The Dumbest Ideas in Economics—and Why Sound Money Still Matters

(Money Metals News Service) In this week’s edition of the Money Metals Midweek Memo, host Mike Maharrey tackled what he described as three of the “dumbest” ideas currently floating around in the realm of economics, all while battling a cold.

Despite his illness, Maharrey made a compelling case against the misconceptions surrounding gold, the misguided inflation solutions from political leaders, and the notorious idea of a trillion-dollar coin.

Gold: More Than Just a “Pretty Face”

Gold is more than just a pretty face

Maharrey began by debunking the myth that gold is a “useless metal,” a notion that re-emerges periodically in investment circles. He referenced Warren Buffett’s famous quip about gold being dug out of the ground, melted, buried, and guarded, asserting that it has no utility.

Maharrey countered this by highlighting recent data from the World Gold Council, which reported that technology and industrial applications consumed 81 tons of gold in the second quarter of the year—a notable 11% year-on-year increase. This brought the total H1 2024 demand for gold in these sectors to 162 tons.

Maharrey pointed out that while this amount might seem modest compared to the overall market, it’s still significant. He emphasized that gold’s unique properties, such as its resistance to corrosion, excellent conductivity, and ability to catalyze chemical reactions without being consumed, make it invaluable in technology and medicine. For instance, gold plays a crucial role in hundreds of millions of rapid diagnostic tests used globally each year.

“Gold isn’t just about being pretty; its inherent physical and chemical properties make it useful in many industrial and technological applications,” Maharrey noted. He also mentioned that jewelry production still accounts for 34% of global gold demand, with 4,794 tons used in the second quarter of 2024 alone.

Kamala Harris and the Inflation “Solution”

The second “dumb” idea Maharrey discussed came from Vice President Kamala Harris, who was recently asked about her plan to combat inflation. Maharrey criticized her response, which he described as “word salad,” pointing out that she merely acknowledged the problem without offering any concrete solutions. Instead, she promised to take on “big corporations” engaging in “illegal price gouging,” corporate landlords, and big pharma.

Maharrey argued that Harris’s approach misses the root cause of inflation, which is monetary inflation driven by the Federal Reserve’s money creation. He cited the July budget deficit data, revealing that the Biden administration spent another $574 billion in just one month, running a $243 billion deficit. Maharrey emphasized that inflation is not caused by corporate greed but by the government’s excessive spending and borrowing.

“Price inflation is a symptom of monetary inflation, which has everything to do with money creation by the Federal Reserve,” Maharrey explained. He warned that Harris’s proposed policies, including price controls, would likely lead to shortages and exacerbate the problem rather than solve it.

The Trillion-Dollar Coin: A “Cockamamy Scheme”

One Trillion Dollar Platinum Coin

Finally, Maharrey tackled the idea of minting a $1 trillion platinum coin as a solution to the U.S. debt problem—a concept that resurfaces during debt ceiling debates. He described the proposal as “creating money out of thin air” and noted that it was seriously discussed by government officials in 2013 and 2015.

Maharrey explained that the idea is essentially an extension of quantitative easing (QE), where the Federal Reserve creates money to buy securities, thereby injecting new money into the economy. However, he warned that such actions lead to inflation, as seen after the pandemic when the Fed created nearly $5 trillion through QE, driving prices up.

“Minting this $1 trillion coin would have the exact same practical effect as QE but would bypass the need to borrow money by issuing bonds,” Maharrey said. He sarcastically remarked that if the government were to mint enough of these coins to pay off the entire national debt, each coin would need to be worth over $30 trillion, a clearly absurd notion.

Maharrey closed by urging listeners to protect themselves from such economic foolishness by investing in “stateless currency” like gold and silver, which are free from the counterparty risks associated with fiat currencies. He reminded them that while governments can mint money, they cannot mint the real goods and services that people need, making precious metals a prudent choice for safeguarding wealth.

In conclusion, Maharrey’s analysis this week serves as a reminder of the importance of sound money principles and the dangers of misguided economic policies.

As he put it, “When it comes to economics, you’re always going to have a lot of bad ideas out there, and plenty of people in government willing to implement them.”

Germany Issues Arrest Warrant for ‘Volodymyr Z’ over Nord Stream Bombing

(Headline USA) German prosecutors have issued a first arrest warrant in their investigation into the undersea explosions in 2022 that damaged the Nord Stream gas pipelines between Russia and Germany, according to a media report Wednesday.

Prosecutors in neighboring Poland said they received a warrant for a Ukrainian man, but that he left the country before he could be arrested.

German public broadcaster ARD, the daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung and the weekly Die Zeit said in a joint report that federal prosecutors obtained an arrest warrant in June against a Ukrainian man believed to have resided until recently in Poland. The report, which did not cite sources, identified the man as Volodymyr Z. The President of Ukraine is, of course, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The German federal prosecutor’s office said it doesn’t comment on media reports or on arrest warrants.

However, the Polish national prosecutor’s office confirmed that district prosecutors in Warsaw received a European arrest warrant for a Ukrainian citizen named Volodymyr Z. from German authorities in June, without specifying what he was accused of.

It said that authorities could not detain him because he crossed the border from Poland into Ukraine in early July.

Explosions on Sept, 26, 2022, damaged the pipelines, which were built to carry Russian natural gas to Germany under the Baltic Sea. The damage added to tensions over the war in Ukraine as European countries moved to wean themselves off Russian energy sources. Who was responsible for the sabotage remains a mystery and investigators have been tight-lipped about their findings so far.

Swedish and Danish authorities closed their investigations in February, leaving the German prosecutors’ case as the sole probe.

The blasts happened as Europe attempted to wean itself off Russian energy sources following the Kremlin’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. They ruptured the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, which was Russia’s main natural gas supply route to Germany until Russia cut off supplies at the end of August 2022.

They also damaged the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which never entered service because Germany suspended its certification process shortly before Russia invaded Ukraine in February of that year.

Russia has accused the U.S. of staging the explosions, a charge Washington denies. The pipelines were long a target of criticism by the U.S. and some of its allies, who warned that they posed a risk to Europe’s energy security by increasing dependence on Russian gas.

In March 2023, German media reported that a pro-Ukraine group was involved in the sabotage. However, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Seymour Hersh has put forward a convincing case that the Nord Stream attack was a CIA operation.

Officials said last year that investigators found traces of undersea explosives in samples taken from a yacht that was searched as part of the probe.

German government spokesperson Wolfgang Büchner declined to comment on the reported warrant Wednesday, referring questions to federal prosecutors. But he said that clearing up what happened has the “highest priority.”

Trump Says He’ll Return to Butler, Where He Was Nearly Assassinated, in October

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Former President Donald Trump said in his interview with Twitter/X CEO Elon Musk on Monday that he intends to return in October to Butler, Pennsylvania, the place where he was nearly assassinated on July 13.

“We’re going back to Butler, and we’re going to go back in October, we’re all set up,” he said. “It’s a great area, these are incredible people.”

While met with enthusiasm online, Trump’s return plans are concerning local officials. Det. Pat Young, commander of the Beaver County SWAT team—which had a significant presence at the July 13 rally—said he still hasn’t met with Secret Service over the security failures.

When asked if he thinks Trump would be safe at another Butler rally, Young said he couldn’t provide any guarantees.

“I can’t say that. At this point, me along with the majority of American people have many questions as to what and how the Secret Service does its job. And I never would have said that before, really, this week,” Young told CNN in an interview.

Young’s concern is seemingly shared by the Secret Service’s rank and file. Last month, a Secret Service whistleblower warned that his agency isn’t ready for the next assassination attempt on Trump. The unnamed counter sniper’s email was apparently sent about 12 hours before July 30 Senate hearing with new Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe. According to RealClearPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree, the Secret Service deleted the email from its servers shortly after it was sent.

“This agency NEEDS to change,” the sniper wrote in the email, obtained by Crabtree. “If not now, WHEN? “The NEXT assassination in 30 days?”

According to the local newspaper Butler Eagle, county officials don’t have a firm date or site for Trump’s return. Butler County Commissioner Leslie Osche, a Republican, has also expressed concern about him returning so soon.

“While this county has overwhelmingly welcomed and supported former President Trump, a return visit will place additional stress on law enforcement and the community. I am not sure we’ve had sufficient time to heal from the trauma,” she reportedly said.

Jean-Pierre Fails to Cite a Single Kamala Victory: Silence Says It All?

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) It’s a tough job being White House press secretary—just ask Karine Jean-Pierre.

On Monday, she was asked to list specific accomplishments made by Vice President Kamala Harris, who is currently the presumptive Democratic candidate for president.

In response, Jean-Pierre couldn’t name any. Zero. Nada.

“What does the president see as the vice president’s biggest achievement during their time in office together,” asked Real Clear Politics Philip Wegmann during Monday’s press briefing.

Jean-Pierre attempted to respond by claiming that because Harris and Biden are “partners,” any accomplishments of Biden could be credited to Harris as well, as seen in video shared by the Media Research Center (MRC)

“So, there’s not a specific policy achievement. It’s a comprehensive whole?” Wegmann pressed, prompting an incoherent response from Jean-Pierre.

“The Biden-Harris accomplishments are the Biden-Harris accomplishments,” she said, seemingly unaware that she was digging herself into a deeper hole.

If Harris deserves credit for what some might consider Biden’s victories, does she also share responsibility for the administration’s “struggles”? Fox Business reporter Edward Lawrence asked.

Ouch.

Jean-Pierre’s struggles to single out a specific Harris victory, even by the left’s own standards, underscore the vice president’s struggles throughout the years.

Harris was widely seen as being unable to rise to the occasion after being assigned several high-profile tasks, including overseeing the “root causes” of illegal immigration and becoming the administration’s gun and artificial intelligence czar.

Harris’s inefficiencies had led some Democrats—including President Joe Biden himself—to question her electability in 2024. Some Democratic donors even suggested kicking Harris from the ticket.

Los Angeles Times suggested Harris should have returned to the Senate after the passing of Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.

Some conservatives mockingly celebrated Biden’s appointment of Harris to several jobs, suggesting that she wouldn’t be able to accomplish any feats for the left.

Polls had also shown that Harris is widely seen as unpopular among the American electorate. In June 2023, an NBC News poll anointed Harris with a net-negative rating of –17, the lowest for any vice president in the poll’s history.

However, much of this has shifted in recent weeks, as the legacy media has worked to propel Harris, the now-Democrat candidate for president, into stardom by whitewashing her reputation despite their own years-long negative coverage.

“They fawned all over her comparing her to Beyonce and Taylor Swift. If they believed in God, they would compare her to the blessed Virgin Mary,” said MRC President Brent Bozell while on Fox Business on Tuesday.
