Poll: Majority of voters favor a federal ban on transgender procedures for minors

(TJ Martinell, The Center Square) Most registered voters, 59%, support a federal ban on transgender procedures such as puberty blockers and gender reassignment surgeries for minors, a new national poll found.

The strongest support for a federal ban came from registered Republicans (82%), while the lowest amount of support for it came from registered Democrats (36%). Independents polled offered majority support for a ban, with 56% in favor.

The Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll was conducted by Noble Predictive Insights between Oct.2-4 and surveyed 2,560 registered voters. The margin of error for the aggregate sample was ±2.1%.

According to the poll, although both sexes favored a federal ban on transgender procedures for minors, men were more likely to favor it, with 63% in favor compared to 56% for women. Among the ethnicities polled, “others” favored a ban the most at 63% compared to 61% for Whites. Of Black registered voters polled, 46% favored a ban, while 32% were opposed and 22% were not sure.

Among age demographics, the categories most in favor of a federal ban were 45-54 and 54-65, both of which polled at 61%, while 18-34 were the least in favor, albeit still at a 52% majority of them still supporting banning the procedures for minors.

Although voters with and without college degrees both favored a federal ban by more than 50%, those without degrees favored it more at 61%, while 55% of voters with a college degree supported a ban.

Voters with children supported a ban more than those without, at 61% to 52% respectively.

Geographically, rural voters favored a ban more than suburban or urban voters, at 64% compared to 57% and 58% respectively.

Regionally, the Northeast was least supportive of a federal ban, with 51% in favor. The South was the most supportive at 61%, while the Midwest favored it at 60%. Voters in the West favored a ban by 59%.

Transgender procedures on minors are now banned in 25 states, including states such as Ohio which, according to data from the nonprofit Do No Harm, was one of the top in the nation for procedures and procedures per capita. According to Do No Harm’s data, released last week, at least 13,994 transgender procedures were performed on minors across the U.S. between 2019-2023, The Center Square reported.

Do No Harm is a nonprofit group of physicians and other medical professionals that gets its name from the Hippocratic oath: “First, do no harm.” According to its website, Do No Harm is “fighting to curtail the unscientific and individually harmful practice of so-called ‘gender affirming care'” for children.

In an email to The Center Square, David Byler with Noble Predictive Insights, wrote that “on many issues surrounding trans rights and students or youth, the GOP has public opinion on their side. There’s a reason that, when you look at GOP ads, they are constantly hammering this and other related issues. And some prominent Democrats are pushing out moderate, rather than left, messages.”

He added that “Republicans know that trans issues are a strong social issue for them – and after getting hit hard on abortion so many times since Dobbs, they want to make sure they’re pushing back and finding social issues that work for them.”

Walz ‘Goes Hunting’ but Gets Nothing in Publicity Stunt

(Headline USA) Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz carried a shotgun and tramped through tall grass as Minnesota’s pheasant hunting season opened.

Neither Walz nor Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan managed to bag any pheasants as they hunted near Sleepy Eye, a town about 90 miles southwest of Minneapolis.

The campaign of Harris disclosed during her debate with President Donald Trump last month that she’s a gun owner.

On Friday, the Democratic ticket announced the launch of Hunters and Anglers for Harris-Walz, a national organizing program to engage sportspeople, conservationists and rural voters in key states.

The Trump campaign mocked the outing, accusing Walz of “desperately attempting to make up ground with male voters.”

The campaign’s statement also pointed out that there were no guns in sight during the hunt, calling it “a sign of the future under a Harris-Walz administration.”

While Walz had a top rating from the National Rifle Association during his 12 years in Congress, he changed his positions on gun rights after a series of school shootings. As governor, he signed legislation in 2023 expanding background checks for gun transfers and a red flag law allowing courts to temporarily take firearms away from people judged to be in imminent risk of harming themselves or others. His wife, Gwen, has been a champion of gun safety legislation.

“Sorry Tim, men aren’t voting for a gun grabber,” the Trump campaign tweeted from an official account.

Walz went hunting the morning after attending a football game in Mankato, where he was once an assistant coach.

Many Arab, Muslim-American Voters Leave Harris for Trump, Stein

(Casey Harper, The Center Square) Arab Americans are drifting away from supporting Kamala Harris and Democrats as a whole during the Biden-Harris administration, with many defecting to President Donald Trump and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

It’s a trend that could be a major factor in swing states such as Michigan, which has a large Arab-American population.

The Arab American Institute surveyed 500 Arab American registered voters, which found that Trump and Harris have evenly split the Arab American vote 42-41%, a drop in support from the level Democrats received in 2020.

“Looking more closely, with those that report they are very likely to vote, Trump leads Harris 46% to 42%,” AAI said. “Only 79% of Democrats support Harris, while 89% of Republicans support Trump. Kamala Harris regained much of the support Biden lost after October 7th, but Harris remains 18 points below Biden’s 2020 level of support with Arab American voters.”

At the recent vice presidential debate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz clearly advocated for Israel’s right to defend itself while also pointing to the humanitarian issues in Gaza, essentially mimicking Harris’ comments on the issue from her own debate weeks prior.

Before President Joe Biden dropped out of the race, he faced frequent protests and accusations of supporting genocide in Gaza. Harris’ opposition has been less fervent, but aside from her general comments, the fullness of her position on the issue has not yet been worked out.

While some Arab American voters have left Harris for a third party candidate, AAI said Trump has received most of the benefit.

“All the third-party candidates combined receive just 12% of the Arab American vote. Instead, it’s Trump who is the beneficiary of the community’s anger and despair over the Biden Administration’s failure to prevent the unfolding genocide in Gaza,” AAI said.

In late August, The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) released a poll showing American Muslim voters supporting Stein and Harris equally, at 29% each, with Trump at 12%.

“Our latest survey reveals that American Muslim voters are highly engaged in the upcoming presidential election, open to supporting a diverse range of candidates and political parties, and deeply dissatisfied with the current state of the nation, particularly U.S. support for the war on Gaza,” CAIR said in a news release accompanying its poll.

The poll found that 40% of Muslim voters in the swing state of Michigan support Stein, 18% support Trump, and just 12% support Harris. There were 206,050 Muslim voters in Michigan in 2020, according to Emgage’s 2022 report looking at Muslim voter participation in the last presidential election.

In Arizona, Stein led Harris at 35% to 29%. In Wisconsin, Stein led Harris at 44% to 39%. Overall, across six battleground states – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – Stein led Harris, 30% to 28%.

The polls confirm the political significance of the Oct. 7 terror attack where Hamas, which is identified by the State Department as a terrorist group, killed over 1,000 Israeli civilians and took hostages, kicking off a war between the two that is still continuing.

The loss in support comes as first Biden and then Harris struggled to navigate the division within the Democratic Party and some antisemetic elements within the party over the Israel-Hamas war.

“The Biden Administration’s handling of the crisis in Gaza, however, has eroded that support resulting in Arab Americans now evenly divided between the two parties – 38% for each,” AAI said of its polling. “Both Democrats and Republicans saw an increase in identification at the expense of Independents. Democrats saw the largest increase in identification after hitting an all-time low (23%) in the immediate aftermath of October 7th.”

According to AAI, the political consequences of Oct. 7 and Democrats’ response has down-ballot implications.

“Equally revealing is the fact that by a slight majority of 46% to 43%, voters in the community say they would prefer to see Republicans controlling the next Congress,” AAI said.

Biden-Harris Regime Targets Emotional Border Agent Who Cried Over Riley’s Death

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A Border Patrol whistleblower featured in James O’Keefe’s latest film Line In The Sand has been targeted by a federal investigation over his heartfelt involvement in the project.

Border Patrol Agent Zachary Apotheker broke down in tears while recounting how the federal government failed Laken Riley, a beloved Georgia nursing student who was brutally killed by an illegal alien earlier this year.

In response to his appearance, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) launched an investigation into the agent, demanding specific information about his comments and whether O’Keefe compensated him.

In a follow-up letter, CBP revoked his government-issued firearm pending the investigation. “The revocation of your authority to carry a Government-issued firearm will remain in place until CBP has received information that cures the concerns forming the basis for the temporary revocation, including, but not limited to the favorable outcome of of any internal investigation,” CBP wrote in the Oct. 11 letter.

CBP sought to answer questions such as whether he was in a CBP-issued uniform and the timing of the interview. According to a letter released by O’Keefe on Oct. 10, they are also investigating whether the footage was recorded on government property.

In the video, Apotheker spoke about Riley, implying that the federal government bore responsibility for her murder, allegedly at the hands of Venezuelan national Jose Ibarra.

“When a girl like Laken Riley is jogging. She’s top of her class at nursing and we signed those f***ing files, man. That’s blood on our hands. That’s blood in your hands,” Apotheker affirmed. “And that’s a joke to you, maybe keep collecting that check. Let me ask you this, if it was your father, or your sister, or your aunt, how would you feel.”

O’Keefe’s film was published on the Tucker Carlson Network on Oct. 10.

“Experience James O’Keefe’s bold, first-hand documentation of life on the front lines—riding Mexican freight trains, exploring cartel tunnels, and visiting U.S.-funded child detention camps,” the film’s description read. “Line in the Sand is a gripping exposé of a corrupted system and demands change.”

Mark Milley Confesses to Fearing Court-Martial if Trump Wins 2024

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Mark Milley, the disgraced former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, admitted he fears a court-martial if former President Donald Trump returns to the White House in 2025.

“He is a walking, talking advertisement of what he’s going to try to do… He’s saying it and it’s not just him, it’s the people around him,” Milley said of Trump in conversations with former colleagues, according to author Bob Woodward in his book War.

Woodward cited podcast host Steve Bannon’s assertions that a new Republican administration will hold Milley “accountable” over his conversations with China during Trump’s first administration.

Milley came under fire in 2021 after Woodward revealed in his book Peril that in October 2020 (the last months of Trump’s term), he held two phone conversations with his Chinese counterparts, assuring them the U.S. would not attack them.

U.S. Armed Forces spokesperson Col. Dave Butler, speaking on Milley’s behalf, defended the phone calls, claiming they were part of his “duties and responsibilities” to convey reassurance.

Milley never disclosed the conversations to Trump, the then-commander-in-chief and duly elected president.

Such secrecy sparked widespread criticism that unelected military officials were undermining the president. Bannon is among those critics, calling Milley’s conversations “treasonous” and “sneaky.”

“We’re going to hold him accountable,” Bannon said in a 2023 episode of his War Room podcast. “We don’t know the form yet of how charges are going to be filed but this guy is not going to get away with this. It was treasonous.”

Bannon added, “You specifically talk to the Chinese … about your mindset and the mindset of the American military in that trying time. And you did not run that by the commander-in-chief, who you swore an oath of office to protect the Constitution.”

In the same episode, Bannon said Milley should have resigned if he had been uncomfortable with Trump’s rhetoric.

“He’s the commander-in-chief. If you had a problem you should have resigned right then. You didn’t. You’re cunning. You’re sneaky. You’re a liar and you’re treasonous—and you will be held accountable,” Bannon concluded.

Biden-Harris DOJ Sues Youngkin Over Noncitizen Ballot Purge Before Election

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Gov. Glenn Youngkin cleaned up Virginia’s voter rolls before the November election, purging noncitizens from the list. And, like clockwork, the Biden-Harris DOJ swiftly filed a lawsuit in response.

In a lawsuit filed Friday, the DOJ claimed that Youngkin’s Aug. 7 executive order, which sought to remove noncitizens registered to vote, violated the National Voter Registration Act of 1993.

The lawsuit asserted that Youngkin’s actions occurred too close to the November election, allegedly violating the law’s provision banning voter registration cleanups within 90 days of a federal election.

Youngkin condemned the lawsuit, calling the DOJ’s actions “unprecedented.”

In his statement, the governor highlighted that the executive order merely enforced a 2006 law, signed by then-Gov. Tim Kaine (now a U.S. senator), that requires the state to remove ineligible voters from its rolls.

“Virginians – and Americans – will see this for exactly what it is: a desperate attempt to attack the legitimacy of the elections in the Commonwealth, the very crucible of American Democracy,” Youngkin said.

He vowed to defend his executive order with the backing of Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares. “Virginia’s election will be secure and fair, and I will not stand idly by as this politically motivated action tries to interfere in our elections, period,” he added.

In contrast, Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke argued that Youngkin’s order placed “qualified voters in jeopardy of being removed from the rolls” and created “confusion for the electorate.”

Clarke added, “Congress adopted the National Voter Registration Act’s quiet period restriction to prevent error-prone, eleventh hour efforts that all too often disenfranchise qualified voters. The right to vote is the cornerstone of our democracy and the Justice Department will continue to ensure that the rights of qualified voters are protected.”

Virginia’s lawsuit follows a similar one filed against Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen last month. Allen had ordered the removal of 3,251 noncitizens from voter rolls.

As alleged by the DOJ, some American citizens were erroneously flagged as ineligible in letters.

In his initial order, Allen acknowledged the possibility of errors. However, he suggested that such mistakes could have been avoided if the federal government had collaborated with the state to identify noncitizens months before the election.

‘Accent Switch Kamala’ Barbie Hilariously Mocks Harris’s Changing Personas

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Meet the hilarious “Accent Switch Kamala”—a fictional Barbie inspired by Vice President Kamala Harris’s ever-changing accents.

The satirical Barbie was created by the comedy X page Snicklink, which released a mock advertisement for the product on Friday.

“Who needs personality when you can switch who you are with the push of a button,” a commercial voiceover announced, introducing the “Accent Switch Kamala” Barbie.

The ad featured Harris delivering speeches in various accents, poking fun at several real-life instances where the vice president mysteriously shifted her diction depending on the setting.

“Oh, hello, young lady. Quite a marvelous day, innit?” the doll said, speaking in a British accent.

Suddenly, the doll shifted to an American accent: “Well, hi there, little nugget. I’m gonna be the first black female president of the United States of Americuh.”

The voiceover cut in again, advertising that “Accent Switch Kamala” can “emulate any accent you like as long as it grants her credibility.”

The doll even channeled a French accent, saying, “Oh bonjour! Tu aimes les croissants?”

Next up is an Oktoberfest-themed line: “Guten Tag! Sie lieben, I brought Wurst! Uf da, ufa da! Ha ha ha!” (which, according to online language translation tools, loosely translates to “Good day, I brought sausage.”)

In one of the funnier moments, the doll mimicked Darth Vader, telling Luke Skywalker, “I am your mother.”

The ad doesn’t stop there, also poking fun at Harris’s political career.

The mocking ad announced that the doll comes with “two bags” of campaign cash, a “blind eye” for illegal immigration and the “multi laugh 3000”—a generator that makes the doll laugh in any situation.

Even President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy were mentioned. The ad also mentioned Harris’s Indian heritage, depicting her grandmother in traditional Indian attire.

Democrats have long brushed aside criticism that Harris adopts different accents depending on the situation, asserting that this is simply an example of “code-switching.”

Report: Kamala Used ‘Earpiece’ Earrings at All Recent Media Appearances

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Rumors about Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris using earpiece disguised as pearl-shaped earrings resurfaced after it was noted that she used the now-infamous earrings at all of her recent media appearances, such as The View, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show and CBS News 60 Minutes interview.

Andrei Azarkin, the host of On the Radar show on YouTube and a U.S. Army veteran, recently noticed that Harris wore the same pearl-shaped earrings to her recent media appearances and talked about it in one of his latest videos.

Headline USA translated the video since Azarkin was talking in Russian.

“You know what I noticed? Amazing,” he said. “I noticed that Harris [on the 60 Minutes interview] [wore the same pear-shaped earrings], just like she did at previous interviews and the presidential debate with [Republican presidential candidate] Donald Trump.”

Azarkin then urged his listeners to verify this information themselves.

“You will notice that on almost all photos of Harris when she talks to journalists and regular Americans, she wears these earrings,” he said, joking by coming up with absurd excuses for this insane coincidence.

“It’s possible that Kamala Harris simply doesn’t have any other earrings to wear. She’s so poor. She’s so miserable. These are the only earrings she wears, and she inherited them from her grandmother. It’s possible she has horrible image-makers. It’s possible she is so in love with these earrings that she only wants to wear them,” he said.

After he stopped horsing around, Azarkin once again asked why Harris only wore these earrings.

“We are being accused of being conspiracy theorists,” he said before making jokes again. “Maybe Kamala Harris has such a bad taste [in jewelry] that she doesn’t know, as a woman, that she needs to change it up occasionally. I don’t know. It’s possible. I obviously don’t know her — thankfully — but I find it suspicious and worth paying attention to it.”

Azarkin was right in his assessment. Harris appeared on 60 Minutes, Stern’s show, Colbert’s show, The View and other places wearing the pear-shaped earrings.

Rumors about the headphones disguised as earrings started to spread after the Harris-Trump debate, with people noticing the striking similarity between what Harris wore at the debate and the new headphones disguised as earrings.

Election Interference: Dems Won’t Certify Election if Trump Wins

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Despite their constant whining about the Jan. 6, 2021, “insurrection,” the Democrats recently admitted that they won’t certify the 2024 election results if Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is elected.

Axios reported that the Democrats would certify the election results only if Trump used “free, fair and honest means to secure a victory,” which, according to Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., is not what Trump would do. This statement implies that he would be declared a winner only if he cheats.

“[Trump] is doing whatever he can to try to interfere with the process, whether we’re talking about manipulating electoral college counts in Nebraska or manipulating the vote count in Georgia or imposing other kinds of impediments,” the politician told the news source.

Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill., also questioned whether Trump would win the election fair and square, telling Axios that she doesn’t know “what kind of shenanigans he is planning.”

Conservatives on Twitter pointed out the hypocrisy after the article was published.

“I’ve been told this type of rhetoric is “dangerous to our democracy” or something,” @Patriot_Vibes wrote.

Co-owner of Trending Politics, Colin Rugg, also mocked the Democrats who have been talking non-stop about Republicans and Trump’s alleged attempt to overthrow the government at the beginning of 2021.

“The ‘democracy defenders’ won’t commit to certifying an election?” he wrote.

Others wrote that the recent news is a warning from Democrats about their own insurrection, this time it being real and violent.

Some conservatives noted that hearing about the recent news was not surprising after the Democrats replaced Joe Biden, who was elected by leftists during the primaries, with the current Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, who nobody cared about before the disastrous debate between Trump and Biden.

“No surprise there. They threw democracy out the window when they put Kamala in w/o a single vote. Why wouldn’t they pull some more shenanigans? We’ll get SCOTUS involved if we have to, but they need to do their job or GTFO,” an anonymous person wrote.

The Democrats’ recent comments are also unsurprising because Raskin said he would never allow Trump to be in the White House again.

“I’ve been warning of this for months. Here is Rep Jamie Raskin confirming what I’ve been predicting. Even if President Trump wins the 2024 election, Democrats will not accept the results and refuse to leave the White House, creating a civil war scenario,” investigative reporter and commentator Drew Hernandez said.

CBS Goes Full USSR, Creates New Dept. to Approve New Stories

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) CBS News recently decided to implement a new censorship technique that communists in Russia used.

Puck News reported that the network created a new department titled Race and Culture to approve new story ideas that American citizens could see.

According to the news source, dozens of CBS employees “took issue with [CBS’s Tony Dokoupil’s] treatment of [Ta-Nehisi Coates], as well as what they perceived as his history of editorializing on the Israel-Palestine conflict.”

Puck News wrote that the Race and Culture unit “determined that while Dokoupil’s questions and intentions were acceptable, his tone was not,” adding that the “Standards and Practices division… determined that Dokoupil had not followed the preproduction process where questions are run through Race & Culture.”

Conservatives all over the internet picked up the recent news, criticizing the network’s Soviet-style attempts to censor the information that the Democrats don’t want people to see.

“Well, folks, it’s hard to believe, but our shameless propaganda media has sunk to levels lower than we ever thought possible,” Revolver News wrote. “Let freedom ring, right?”

Christopher Rufo, a writer at the City Journal and activist at the Manhattan Institute, also criticized the network’s USSR-like tactics.

“Journalists at CBS News now have to run their questions through a racial ideology department before going to air. This is exactly how the old Soviet commissar system worked. Massive corruption,” he wrote.

Regular Americans also pointed out that there’s no point watching the news from networks like CBS News because there are so many good alternatives available.

“Another nail in the coffin of legacy media,” @MDButler81 wrote.

Others also explained the difference between Soviet and modern American journalists.

“The difference between the mainstream media and the old Soviet media is that while under the Soviets control was imposed by force and from outside, CBS and other elite media create their own commissars,” @mfproudman wrote.

This news came after it was revealed that the network heavily edited the recent 60 Minutes interview with Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
