It Took 25 Snubs from Kamala Harris for Dr. Phil to Switch Sides

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Dr. Phil McGraw said Tuesday that his speech at Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s rally was an “act of rebellion” against Vice President Kamala Harris, who he said snubbed him at least 25 times.

Dr. Phil told Piers Morgan in an interview released on Election Day that he offered to deliver the same level of enthusiasm for Harris before he decided to take the stage in support of Trump at his Madison Square Garden rally on Oct. 27.

However, he revealed the Democrat nominee did not accept his multiple requests to appear.

“That was an act of rebellion on my part,” Dr. Phil said.

“I requested 25-plus times to speak to Kamala Harris,” he told Morgan. “I offered to give the identical speech at a Harris rally.”

Dr. Phil told Morgan that while he does “not like a lot of what he says or does,” Trump has his vote.

However, the TV star said that he was “not here to endorse Donald Trump.”

At Trump’s massive rally in New York, Dr. Phil blasted the legacy media and Hollywood elite for trying to tell American citizens what to think.

“You’re here because you have the facts, right?” Dr. Phil told the audience at Trump’s rally.

“You’re here because you recognize when legacy media edits answers and gives you what they want you to hear instead of the truth,” he continued, referencing CBS News airing two versions of Harris’s 60 Minutes interview—one edited to make her sound “more succinct.”

Dr. Phil slammed the media for losing their way, saying news outlets would negatively report on his appearance at a Trump rally versus if he were to stump for Harris.

“I would love to say it’s equal on both sides, but I’ll guarantee you, when Beyonce, George Clooney, DeNiro and Lizzo come out and say they’re for Kamala Harris,” Dr. Phil began as the audience erupted in boos.

“When they all come out and say they’re for Kamala Harris, did you hear anything or read anything in the media criticizing it? No,” Dr. Phil added. “But you watch what happens tomorrow morning when people find out I came here to talk to you.”

Report: Biden Won’t Be Attending Harris Election Watch Party

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The Kamala Harris campaign is holding an election night watch party at the Vice President’s alma matter, Howard University, but President Joe Biden won’t be in attendance, according to a Tuesday report from the Washington Examiner.

“Tonight, the president and First Lady will watch election results in the White House residence with longtime aides and senior White House staff,” a White House official told the Washington Examiner. “The president will receive regular updates on the state of races across the country.”

Howard University is less than two miles from the White House.

As has been widely documented, the relationship between Biden and Harris has frayed since she helped oust him from the White House in July—allegedly threatening him with the 25th Amendment unless he stepped down as the Democratic candidate.

In the wake of Trump’s debate with Harris—where he told the world that Biden “hates her”—Biden donned a MAGA cap.

More recently, Biden took the air out of the Democrats’ attempt to capitalize on a Trump rally comedian’s vulgar remarks about Puerto Rico. After comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s joke referred to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage” at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally on Oct. 27, Biden referred to all Trump supporters as the same.

Biden’s comments hit news airwaves simultaneously as Harris delivered her closing pitch to voters at the Ellipse that evening in Washington, D.C.—leading to jokes among Trump supporters that Biden’s secretly trying to sabotage Harris.

Biden gave what could be perceived as his final gift to the Trump campaign Sunday, when he said he’d like to slap Trump and his “Republican friends” on the ass.

“There’s one more thing Trump and his Republican friends want to do. They want another giant tax cut for the wealthy. Now, I know some of you guys are tempted to think it’s macho, guys. I’ll tell you what, man,” he said.

“When I was in Scranton, I used to, we used to have a little trouble going down the plot once in a while. But I’m serious. These are the kind of guys you like to smack in the ass.”

In Jailhouse Letter, 2nd Failed Trump Assassin Urges America to Vote against His Target

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Alleged failed Trump assassin Ryan Routh apparently wrote a letter to The Palm Beach Post from his prison cell, urging Americans to vote against the man he tried to kill at a Florida golf course on Sept. 15.

The Palm Beach Post reported Saturday that it received an unsolicited letter addressed from “Trump Alleged Shooter Ryan W. Routh.”

“The four-page letter did not provide details on the suspected assassination attempt for which Routh faces life in prison. Instead, it ruminated on how the people of Palm Beach County will vote Tuesday and what consequences will come of it,” the newspaper, which did not publish the letter, reported.

“It predicted the end of democracy and the beginnings of a civil war if Trump wins a second term. It warned that the Republican nominee ‘will not let go of power if we all give it to him,’” the newspaper added.

The Palm Beach Post reported that the letter appears authentic, as the handwriting matches one published by the Justice Department about two weeks ago in a bid to keep Routh from talking to the press. The letter also reportedly included Routh’s daughter’s email, though she didn’t respond to messages seeking comment.

Routh’s apparent letter comes weeks after the DOJ filed a motion to keep all of the discovery in his case secret.

The DOJ had argued that a protective order was necessary because Routh could potentially reveal sensitive information about witnesses or law enforcement personnel. They also accused Routh of trying to “influence the public’s perception of the matter or unduly interfere with the proper administration of justice.”

Judge Aileen Cannon refused the DOJ’s motion for a blanket protective order last week. Cannon ordered the parties to “confer by videoconference” by last Thursday, and to “endeavor to devise a more limited protective order that more adequately takes into account Defendant’s stated constitutional and logistical concerns.”

The results of the parties’ negotiations have yet to be made public.

Trump Takes Questions After Casting Ballot

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump took questions from reporters on Election Day after casting his ballot in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump and his wife, Melania, voted Tuesday morning at the Mandel Recreation Center before stopping and reflecting on his campaign before the media.

“I ran a great campaign. I think it was maybe the best of the three,” the former president told the press, saying he feels “very confident” about his “inclusive” campaign.

Trump emphasized illegal immigration as one of the most important issues facing the nation.

He said elections should ideally be run with paper ballots and results should be known before midnight on Election Day.

One reporter asked Trump to tell his supporters not to be violent after the election results are known, to which the GOP nominee said is not necessary.

“I don’t have to tell them that,” Trump responded. “Of course they’ll be no violence. My supporters are not violent people.”

Trump said he expects to be at Mar-a-Lago as results trickle in, adding that he hears his campaign is “doing very well” so far.

He reflected on the previous day’s four final rallies and revealed that he had not prepared a speech for the evening.

“I don’t have to do that. I’m not a Democrat,” Trump continued. “I’m able to make a speech on really quick notice. If I win, I know what I’m going to say.

Despite his Manhattan conviction in March, Trump was able to vote in his home state because Florida defers to the state of conviction’s laws regarding felony voter eligibility for out-of-state convictions.

Since 2021 in New York, those convicted of felonies have been allowed to vote as long as they are not incarcerated at the time of the election.

Trump said U.S. Secret Service “stepped up” after he was shot at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.

He also reiterated confidence in his team—but noted he has to win.

“I think they’re crazy,” the former president told a reporter asking about whether he would ever concede. “If I lose an election, if it’s a fair election, I’d be the first one to acknowledge it. And I think it’s, so far, I think it’s been fair.”

Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance also voted on Election Day in Cincinnati.

“First of all, we do expect to win,” Vance said. “But obviously, no matter who wins, half the country as you said, is going to be at least partially disappointed.”

Is ‘Peanut’ the New ‘John Wick’ Puppy?

(Maire Clayton, Headline USA) Podcaster Joe Rogan had SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on the Monday episode of the Joe Rogan Experience and the two discussed the viral, tragic death of Peanut the squirrel.

Musk said the death of Peanut, also known as P’Nut or PNUT, shows how America is no longer the land of the free.

“How can it be that we live in America, supposedly the land of the free, and the government can barge into your home with guns?” the billionaire mused.

Musk said he believed the story should make people want to “mobilize” and go vote on Election Day.

He later compared it to the plot of John Wick, the 2014 Keanu Reeves movie in which viewers root for the character to avenge the death of his dog.

Reeves portrays the titular anti-hero, who just wants to live a simple life after retiring from being an assassin but gets pulled back in after his puppy is murdered.

Rogan noted the cute relationship between Peanut and his owner, Mark Longo.

“Why would you kill that cute little squirrel that was obviously a pet and trained from the time it was a baby?” Rogan asked. “If you see the interaction that guy has with that squirrel, it was wonderful.”

Peanut amassed a large social-media following, where he was often seen with a cowboy hat or nibbling on waffles.

Longo found the orphaned squirrel in New York seven years ago and promptly brought Peanut into his home.

New York’s Department of Environmental Conservation seized Peanut and a rescue raccoon named Fred from Longo’s home and animal sanctuary last Wednesday in rural Pine City, near the Pennsylvania border.

The two pets were euthanized after the department claimed it had received complaints and alleged the popular squirrel bit someone.

Longo spoke with NewsNation host Chris Cuomo Friday and expressed his disgust with the state of New York.

“We used resources from this state to kill a squirrel and raccoon and raid my house as if I was a drug dealer,” Longo said. “We have resources to kill a raccoon and a squirrel, but we can’t fix the major bridges down the street?”

Doomsday Oprah Winfrey Tells Women They May Never Get Chance to Vote Again If Trump Wins

(Chris Cella Jr., Headline USA) Oprah Winfrey urged female attendees at Kamala Harris’s final rally in Philadelphia to vote, warning that their participation in the upcoming election was critical because it could be their last opportunity to cast a ballot.

“If we don’t show up tomorrow, it is entirely possible that we will not have the opportunity to ever cast a ballot again,” she said, suggesting that a Trump presidency could jeopardize women’s voting rights.

The rally, held in Pennsylvania—a key battleground state—featured a lineup of celebrities, including Winfrey, who shared an anecdote about a woman named Angela she encountered while hiking.

Angela expressed her intent to abstain from voting this election season, prompting Winfrey to respond, “We don’t get to sit this one out.”

Winfrey continued, emphasizing the importance of participation: “Deciding not to decide—that is most definitely a vote to let other people control your future.”

She lectured women enticing them to ensure their friends and family cast their votes, deeming it “a mistake” to do otherwise.

While Winfrey’s remarks raised questions about how women might lose their voting rights, her comments echoed the Harris campaign’s narrative of the potential doom and gloom a Trump presidency would bring.

As she introduced rapper Will.i.am to the stage, Winfrey concluded, “[Kamala] sees us, and she will do her mighty best to serve all of us. I believe we can do that, and I know she can do that, yes she can, yes she can, yes she can.”

Despite her past endorsements of Joe Biden in 2020 and Hillary Clinton in 2016, Winfrey has faced criticism for previously being a fan of Trump before his political career.

Winfrey was not the first celebrity to suggest such a dystopian idea. Just the other day, Alicia Keys made similar comments at a Harris rally, claiming Trump would, “roll back the clock” on woman’s rights.

Guam’s Legislature Flips Republican for 1st Time in Nearly 2 Decades

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The Pacific Daily News has reported that U.S. territory Guam will have a Republican legislature for the first time since 2008—a good early indicator for Donald Trump and other Republicans on the U.S. mainland.

The Pacific Daily News said the unofficial tally was finalized around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday in Guam, with Republican James “Jim” Moylan capturing about 53% of the vote to remain Guam’s delegate.

“Democrats took three of the top five spots in the race for the Legislature, but Republicans won a majority with all precincts counted, taking nine spots to six for Democrats,” the local newspaper reported.

While Republicans took the legislature, Kamala Harris reportedly took the early lead in Guam’s presidential straw poll, wining about 49.5% of the vote to Trump’s 46.22%.

Guam residents don’t have a say in the U.S. presidential election, but their straw poll has predicted the winner of the popular vote for president in every race since 1980, according to the Pacific Daily News.

“Guam’s straw poll only got the 2016 race wrong, when former Sen. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote but Trump won the Electoral College vote,” the newspaper explained.

Republicans have done increasingly well in Guam’s presidential straw poll since 2012, when Barrack Obama swept the territory with more than 72.5% of the vote against Mitt Romney. Clinton did about as well in 2016—71.6%—but in 2020 Joe Biden only took 55.3%, and Harris is set to perform worse this election.

Biden’s $320 Million Gaza Pier Boondoggle Cost a U.S. Soldier His Life

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) CNN reported Monday that one of the U.S. Army soldiers injured while building the Biden administration’s failed $320 million pier to Gaza died last week.

“[Sgt. Quandarius Davon Stanley] was injured while supporting the mission that delivered humanitarian aid to Gaza in May 2024 and was receiving treatment in long-term care medical center,” Capt. Shkeila Milford-Glover, a spokesman for the 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, said Monday, as reported by CNN.

The Pentagon has called Stanley’s injuries non-combat related, but hasn’t released details on how or why he was hurt. Two other soldiers were also injured building the Gaza pier in May, but their injuries weren’t serious.

The death of Stanley, 23, marks a tragic ending to a project plagued with problems from its inception.

In May, the same month Stanley was fatally injured, the pier crumbled just days after becoming operational.

The Pentagon eventually got the pier back up and running in July, but only for a few days.

Pentagon officials have claimed that more than 19.4 million pounds of food has gotten into Gaza via the pier—meaning that U.S. taxpayers spent roughly $16 per pound of food for the Palestinians, who are still starving today.

If there’s any silver lining to the failed pier project, it’s that U.S. troops are no longer be in harm’s way.

The Pentagon had previously warned that the pier could lead to the U.S. military being directly involved in the Israel-Hamas conflict. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin admitted as much during a congressional budget hearing last month, when Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., expressed concerns that the 1,000 US troops operating just off the coast of Gaza are prime targets for Hamas.

“Don’t you think that’s boots on the ground? President Biden told the country we weren’t going to have boots on the ground in Gaza,” Gaetz said. “You guys seem to be sort of saying that boots on a pier connected to the ground connected to servicemembers shooting into Gaza doesn’t count as boots on the ground.”

A staging area for the pier had recently come under mortar fire at the time of Gaetz’s remarks.

‘What The Flying F**k?’: Elon Musk Calls Out Obama, Dems for ‘Deliberately Pushing’ Debunked Trump Hoaxes

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Billionaire Elon Musk called out former President Barack Obama for “deliberately pushing hoaxes” about Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in a surprise interview Monday on The Joe Rogan Experience.

Obama repeated false claims on Sunday at a Harris-Walz rally in Milwaukee that Trump called neo-Nazis and white supremacists “very fine people” during an August 2017 news conference following violent protests in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Obama’s last-ditch lie—debunked by left-leaning fact-checking website Snopes seven years later—has been a frequent rallying cry among Democrats hoping to damage Trump politically.

Musk told podcaster Joe Rogan that Democrats are “doing all the things that they accuse Trump of doing.”

Rogan added that Democrats do so “openly.”

The SpaceX CEO acknowledged that politicians often exaggerate and bend the truth, but he said the amount of anti-Trump hoaxes Democrats lean on is over the top.

“That’s how it is with politics. But when you have deliberate, concerted, repeated pushing of hoaxes, you’re like, wait a second,” Musk continued. “Come on, man. This is too far.”

“And you’re supposed to be the good guys,” Rogan said of the Democrats.

Musk said Democrats can’t claim to be good and honest if they purposefully push disproven falsehoods.

He mentioned Snopes’s fact-check of the “very fine people” hoax, prompting Rogan to bring up Obama’s recent evocation of the lie on stage.

“What the flying f**k?” Musk exclaimed.

“He doesn’t give a f**k,” Rogan responded.

“That’s a flat-out, goddamn f**king lie,” Musk said.

When a reporter asked Trump if he puts “alt-left and white supremacists” on the “same moral plane,” Trump punted his line of questioning and recalled that “the Left” he was referring to came at the other side “with clubs” during the unrest.

“Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group,” Trump said. “But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides.”

The former president added that individuals were there to protest the removal of a statue.

“You had people in that group—excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures as you did,” Trump continued. “You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”

Trump condemned the Neo-Nazis and acknowledged others who were there.

“I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally,” Trump added later in the same exchange. “But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, OK? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly.”

Snopes rated the Charlottesville hoax as “False” in June, providing a full transcript of the interaction.

Gold’s Next Move Is Coming

(Brien Lundin, Money Metals News Service) Gold was smashed last Thursday, dropping over $50 an ounce at one point during the trading session.

Since then, the price has traded sideways as investors contemplate the potential outcome of the U.S. presidential election, with results expected tomorrow evening…or at some point over the weeks to come.

The two-month chart below places Thursday’s correction into perspective:

As you can see, Thursday’s big sell-off wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. We’ve had a number of such price smashes since this gold bull market began in mid-February. In fact, what’s really remarkable is how regularly they have come…and how the rebounds have been just as consistent.

The key to understanding this is an important discovery I made in mid-summer: not only how remarkably consistent gold’s ebbs and flows have been but also how accurately the width of its Bollinger bands has indicated the next move upward.

Bollinger bands are a measure of volatility, and generally speaking, a narrowing of the bands often presages a price breakout, usually in the direction of the previous trend.

If you’ve been following my analyses since early July, you know how I’ve used the bottoms in gold’s Bollinger bands to predict the beginnings of each new price rally. You’ve also become familiar with my chart showing pinpointing each bottom in the bandwidth.

I’ve updated that chart below, marking not just the lows in the bandwidths but also the peaks.

In this chart, the green vertical lines mark the bandwidth lows, while the red lines mark the highs.

As you can see, while the high points faithfully show the price peaks and thereby predict the coming pause or correction, the relative height of those turning points varied in the early months of this bull market. They’ve been more consistent since mid-summer, however, and recently formed a peak that indicated an oncoming correction.

In other words, this indicator predicted an imminent pause in gold’s big rally, as I noted in the November issue of Gold Newsletter issued just last week. That pause began with the big price decline on Thursday, just as we were putting the final touches on that Gold Newsletter issue.

Look closely at the chart above, and you can see that the bandwidth in the bottom panel is just beginning to roll over.

The pattern will take a bit of time to complete and reach the bottom. Judging from how regular and frequent the peaks and valleys have become, with each move from one extreme to the other lasting only about three weeks, it seems like the next rally will begin.
