Builders of Infamous Jan. 6 Gallows Still Haven’t Been Identified

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., released information Friday about the infamous gallows built on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6, 2021, claiming that the FBI still doesn’t know who built them.

The gallows have been used as a prop by the Justice Department and Democrats to argue that the Capitol Hill protestors were threatening government officials and staging an insurrection.

Indeed, the Democratic January 6th Commission showed a video during its first hearing of protestors appearing to breach the Capitol chanting, “Hang Mike Pence,” followed by an image of the gallows, which had been erected hundreds of yards away. And the committee overlapped these chants with the image of the gallows, implying the crowd of Trump supporters built the gallows as a threat of violence against then-Vice President Pence.

“Later, witness Cassidy Hutchinson told the Select Committee she overheard a conversation where Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said President Trump agreed with the chants to hang the Vice President,” noted Loudermilk, who chairs the House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight.

With all that said, Loudermilk deemed it strange that the gallows builders still haven’t been identified, despite the abundance of information about their activities.

“Three years later, the FBI still has no suspects. Additionally, the Select Committee on January 6th seemingly did not review the USCP CCTV footage to identify the culprits behind the gallows, or if they did, they never released information about when the gallows were built and who built them—which can all be seen on CCTV footage from early in the morning on January 6,” Loudermilk said in a Friday press release.

According to Loudermilk, the gallows builders arrived at approximately 6:30 a.m. on January 6, 2021, in a white full-size van parked north of Constitution Avenue. There, three passengers unloaded a large bundle of lumber with wheels.

After unloading, the group walked the bundle across Constitution Avenue and onto the grass at Union Square, according to Loudermilk. They were then joined by two more people arriving by cab at the corner of 1st and C Streets NW, Loudermilk said.

Between 6:30 a.m. and 7:15 a.m., the group constructed the platform and two main pillars of the gallows, only leaving off the crossbeam, he said. During this time, the apparent group leader along with one other person, left the group and walked down 3rd Street, heading north. They returned a few minutes later with coffee, and the entire group left the scene, according to Loudermilk.

“Despite the leader’s distinctive clothing—he was wearing a long trench coat, long white scarf, fedora-type hat, and walking with a cane—he has never been identified publicly,” he said.

“At approximately 1:00 p.m., the group of five returned to the scene and the presumed leader, now wearing a baseball cap, installed the final crossbeam and added the noose made of bright orange rope. Shortly after construction was complete, all five men left the grounds.”

Loudermilk noted that the construction of the gallows violated the Capitol Police Guidelines for Conducting an event on United States Capitol Grounds, which prohibit temporary structures from being built on Capitol grounds. He asked why Capitol Police allowed the gallows to remain intact throughout the morning of Jan. 6.

“It is inconceivable that a gallows could be constructed on U.S. Capitol property and left up all day,” he said.

“These men arrived early in the morning, several hours before the rally even started or anyone had gathered, to construct the gallows platform, yet this structure was allowed to stay intact for all to see. These actions raise more serious and troubling questions. Why didn’t the U.S. Capitol Police take down the gallows once it was seen on Capitol property, and why have the individuals never been identified?”

The FBI did not immediately respond to a Headline USA email with questions about whether building the gallows on Capitol grounds was actually a crime.

Soros-Backed Vice Media Is the Latest Leftist Outlet to Shut Down

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Vice Media, a leftist outlet backed by globalist oligarch George Soros, is set to temporarily shut down operations, laying off hundreds of staffers and ceasing online publication, CNN reported.

According to reports, the failing media company will undergo “fundamental changes” to its “strategic vision” as it tries to find a model that will help it endure.

Vice CEO Bruce Dixon made the announcement Thursday in a memo to the Vice staff.
“This decision was not made lightly, and I understand the significant impact it will have on those affected,” Dixon write, noting that the layoffs will go into effect early next week.

“Regrettably, this means that we will be reducing our workforce, eliminating several hundred positions.”

Dixon also suggested that the company’s digital content-distribution model was “no longer cost-effective,” noting that the company would instead try to grow its business-to-business arm rather than bring its own content straight to readers.

In Dixon’s words, Vice will try to “partner with established media companies to distribute our digital content, including news, on their global platforms, as we fully transition to a studio model.”

Vice also owns a women’s lifestyle website called Refinery29. According to Dixon, the company will look to sell off that part of the business.

CNN, which has struggled with its own viewership and undergone several major restructuring efforts in recent years, noted that it was yet another ominous sign in what appeared to be a trend facing far-left outlets in particular.

“Vice Media joins a long list of digital publishers that have announced painful layoffs in recent months,” it said.

“Startup news outlet The Messenger shut down last month, Business Insider cut 8% of its staff and BuzzFeed said Wednesday that it will slash 16% of its workforce as it plans a new strategic direction.”

In total, according to a panicked Feb. 10 New Yorker piece titled “Is the Media Prepared for an Extinction-Level Event?,” left-leaning mainstream media saw a record 2,681 layoffs last year at outlets including NBC News, Vox Media, FiveThirtyEight, Condé Nast, BuzzFeed, Gawker, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, Time magazine and Sports Illustrated.

Yet, despite the bad news for Vice employees, Dixon expressed hope that the company would be able to survive.

“Our financial partners are supportive and have agreed to invest in this operating model going forward,” he said. “We will emerge stronger and more resilient as we embark on this new phase of our journey.”

Meanwhile, as his old investments fail Soros, who acquired Vice in 2023, has continued to expand his media empire in other directions.

The globalist is currently on the verge of becoming the majority shareholder in Audacy, one of the largest radio-show networks in the United States. The company claims to be able to reach over 200 million people, according to bankruptcy filings reported last week.

Brennan, CIA Allegedly Hid Report Showing Putin Preferred Hillary in 2016

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Journalists Michael Shellenberger and Matt Taibbi alleged in a recent Substack post that Obama-era CIA boss John Brennan altered a 2017 document to make it appear as if Russian President Vladimir Putin favored former President Donald Trump in the 2016 election, WND reported.

The document in question—the 2017 “Intelligence Community Assessment”—may, in fact, have indicated the opposite: that Putin preferred Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016.

According to one of Shellenberger’s unnamed sources, the ICA document made available to the public had been heavily manipulated.

“There was the top-secret version I was shown,” said the source. “There was an even more highly classified version that I was not shown, which had more details.”

The document bears the title “Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent U.S. Elections” and concludes that Putin “ordered” a propaganda campaign to “undermine public faith in the U.S. democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency.”

Then-President Barack Obama declassified the allegedly doctored version of the document during his final days in office.

That document, which former House Intelligence Chair Devin Nunes, R-Calif., referred to as the “Obama Dossier,” was weaponized against Trump in the subsequent Russia-collusion media blitz. Namely, it formed the basis of claims that the Trump campaign aligned itself with Russia in order to gain access to Democratic campaign strategies.

“In July 2015, Russian intelligence gained access to Democratic National Committee (DNC) networks and maintained that access until at least June 2016,” claimed the declassified ICA report, although the Mueller investigation would later determine that there was no meaningful collusion between Trump and Russia.

Shellenberger and Taibbi further argued that, lacking intelligence inside the Kremlin, there was no way of knowing with any certainty what Putin did or did not order at the time.

The journalists instead suggested that the CIA had, hidden away at its headquarters, the real report—a report that would fully vindicate Trump and implicate Clinton in the actual election-meddling scandal, involving the U.S. government.

The revelation was, however, not the first evidence that Brennan and others in the Obama inner circle abused their authority by weaponizing the deep state against the Republican leader.

Shellenberger and Taibbi—both red-pilled journalists, who became household names for their work on Elon Musk’s Twitter Files exposés—previously reported that Brennan had solicited the help of European intelligence agencies to target at least 26 Trump campaign officials ahead of the 2016 election.

They also hinted at the possibility of future reporting that would reveal that the Biden White House had colluded with the CIA in coordinating the ongoing lawfare attacks on Trump to interfere in the 2024 election.

Another Reason to Question Government CPI Data

(Mike Maharrey, Money Metals News Service) According to the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) data, prices rose by 3.1 percent over the last year.

Based on my own experience at my local shopping center, that seems low.

And it may well be.

There are reasons to doubt the accuracy of CPI data.

According to a recent report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) weak response rates to CPI surveys. This calls the accuracy of the data into question.

Three Reasons to Be Skeptical of Government CPI Numbers

I think most people intuitively approach government economic data with at least a grain of skepticism. After all, government people have a vested interest in making us think the economy is humming along just fine. You might call this cynical, but there are also rational reasons to doubt the data.

This includes the CPI calculation.

In the first place, we know the government “adjusted” the CPI back in the 1990s to consistently make price inflation lower.

In reformulating the CPI, the BLS followed the recommendations of the Boskin Commission, a committee appointed by the Senate. Originally called the “Advisory Commission to Study the Consumer Price Index,” the committee’s job was to ferret out possible “bias” in the computation of the CPI. You’ll be shocked to learn that this government commission discovered “bias” that was making the government look bad.

Ultimately, the Boskin Commission determined that the consumer price index overstated inflation — by about 1.1 percent per year in 1996 and about 1.3 percent prior to 1996. Based on these conclusions, the BLS went about making changes to CPI to address this “issue” by ensuring the formula consistently spit out smaller numbers.

The second problem with the CPI is that it is relatively subjective.

The BLS calculates CPI by analyzing the total price of a “basket of goods.” Obviously, the things the government chooses to put in that basket and the weight it assigns to each category have a big impact on the final CPI number.

This subjectivity leads us to the third problem: the entire formula is based on surveys.

Now, you might think scientists at the BLS are doing some kind of in-depth sciencey stuff to come up with the CPI data.

Nope.

They just ask people a bunch of questions.

We all know this isn’t the most accurate way to collect information. After all, the person on the other end of the phone call or email can say anything. Sure, they might be really committed to providing precise information. Or they may have indigestion and just want to get the survey-taker off the phone.

Or, they might not pick up the phone at all.

Apparently, this is a growing problem for the BLS.

According to the latest report, the number of completed surveys used in the CPI calculation came in at 71 percent. That is well below the pre-pandemic trend of 80 percent.

The BLS admits that this is a problem.

Failure of a data unit to respond at either the data collection stage or estimation stage represents a loss of statistical information which dilutes the accuracy of the sample. [Emphasis added]

According to a Bloomberg report, the BLS changed its data collection methods during the pandemic, relying less on in-person interviews and more on phone calls, emails, and online surveys.

This isn’t just a problem for CPI calculations. A report last year indicated that response to the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) had fallen to as low as 30 percent.

As Bloomberg reporter Rease Pickert put it, the lack of survey responses “introduces the higher potential of error, essentially because you’re having to do kind of more adjustment.”

Adjustment translates to government people massaging the data to come up with an answer.

If you trust these folks to “adjust” the data in a fair and unbiased way, more power to you. But nobody would blame you if you took this government economic data with a grain of salt.

Or maybe a salt shaker.

Kamala’s Husband Admits She’s Living Out ‘Veep’

(Headline USA) Second gentleman Doug Emhoff admitted this week that he and Vice President Kamala Harris are living out the political satire show Veep, according to the Daily Mail.

Harris has been compared to the award-winning HBO comedy’s main character, Vice President Selina Meyer, played by actress Julia Louis–Dreyfus, who is known for her frequent gaffes, embarrassing lack of common sense and inappropriate behavior toward staff.

When asked on Wednesday by Bravo’s Andy Cohen whether he’s ever watched the show, Emhoff replied, “We’re living it.”

Like Harris, Meyer in the show becomes the country’s first female vice president after awkwardly stumbling into power. Her convoluted and nonsensical speech patterns have been likened to Harris’s frequent word salads.

A running joke also finds the character regularly asking, “Did the president call?” with the response always being negative.

Naturally—as one might expect for an HBO series starring Louis–Dreyfus, the far-left billionaire heiress to a French shipping magnate—Meyer ultimately comes off as a somewhat sympathetic, feminist antihero, with a hearty dose of progressive messaging and right-wing lampooning injected into the show’s subtext.

Emhoff, apparently, did not see an issue with the comparison.

“It’s non-stop,” Emhoff said of his wife’s job. “When the phone rings after hours, no one is calling to say hi. It is all something very intense. It is a lot and I’m so proud of her.”

The second gentleman was also asked by Cohen whether he and Harris were close to President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden, offering a thoroughly ambiguous response.

“We’re working so hard, but we’re with them all the time,” Emhoff responded. “The four of us together, it’s great.”

Emhoff then bragged about inventing his role as the first second gentleman, saying he sees his primary responsibility as supporting Harris.

“I also didn’t want to get stuck on any gender norms or anything, and here I’m supporting the first woman to be vice president,” he said.

“On a dime I’m traveling the country, traveling the world, doing everything I can to … support her as a husband first, because if I’m not being great, it is almost like national security issue,” he continued. “I don’t need her mad at me; I need her to be focused.”

Democrat Running to Replace Adam Schiff in Congress is under Investigation for Perjury

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) In a move that implicates former Los Angeles city attorney and Democratic congressional hopeful Mike Feuer, the non-profit Consumer Watchdog and the Los Angeles Times petitioned a federal court on Thursday to release a trove of Justice Department documents about an investigation into unethical and illegal activity at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

The investigation that Consumer Watchdog and the LA Times seek information about stems from the city’s water and power provider, the DWP, overcharging taxpayers by hundreds of millions of dollars. Rather than try to resolve the situation by compensating ratepayers, the city hatched a plan to engineer a sham lawsuit by a ratepayer, which the city would be able to resolve on favorable terms.

The government’s investigation ended in November 2023. One City Attorney official, Thomas Peters, was sentenced to 9 months of home detention, and two DWP officials pled guilty. However, significant questions remain about the roles other key officials played in the City’s misconduct, including former City Attorney Mike Feuer, according to Consumer Watchdog.

Feuer retired as city attorney in 2022 and announced last year that he’s running for Rep. Adam Schiff’s soon-to-be-vacant seat. Schiff is running for Senate this year.

“The public is left to wonder whether Peters, the lowest ranking of several other unnamed City Attorney personnel, was really just the fall guy acting to benefit his bosses who have not been held to account,” said Jerry Flanagan, litigation director for Consumer Watchdog. “The public has a right to know what top City officials did while performing their public duties.”

As it pertains to Rep. Feuer, Consumer Watchdog seeks to unseal DOJ records about the former city attorney’s knowledge of the illegal and unethical behavior.

For example, former Special Counsel Paul Paradis—who was sentenced to three years imprisonment for participating in the sham litigation scheme—alleged that FBI Special Agent Andy Civetti “testified in at least two . . . affidavits that Mike Feuer testified falsely and perjured himself before a United States grand jury.”

At Paradis’s sentencing hearing, Judge Stanley Blumenfeld similarly remarked that “too few people have been held to account,” and that prosecutors did not “succeed in sweeping up all of the dirt that needs to be swept up,” according to Consumer Watchdog.

Paradis later reportedly told journalists that the FBI agent’s determination “involves extortion and it also involves when Feuer knew about the collusive scheme. He lied about both.”

Consumer Watchdog and the LA Times seek to unseal those FBI affidavits that describe Feuer’s alleged perjury.

A hearing on the application to unseal the records is expected in the coming weeks.

Missouri City Declares Itself an ‘LGBTQ Safe Haven’ from Anti-Mutilation Law

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A city in central Missouri recently declared itself to be a sanctuary city for LGBT citizens, in direct defiance of the state’s June 2023 prohibition on life-altering transgender surgeries and chemical treatments for minors.

Columbia, Missouri’s city council members passed the “LGBTQ Safe Haven” ordinance in a 6-to-1 vote on Monday, according to the Columbia Daily Tribune.

On its face, the ordinance seems like a simple pander directed at the LGBT population. While it does signal some virtue, the edict also officially lowers the priority level of enforcing state and federal laws surrounding “gender affirming healthcare.”

The ordinance will help protect “individual[s] or organization[s] for providing, seeking, receiving, or assisting another individual who is seeking or receiving gender-affirming healthcare,” from prosecution or administrative penalties.

The city, home to the University of Missouri, also stated that it “strives to respect and celebrate its diversity,” declaring itself to also be a safe haven for “free speech and expression,” according to the ordinance.

“The City Council affirms that being LGBTQ is not a disorder, disease, illness, deficiency or shortcoming and commits to finding ways to improve social outcomes for LGBTQ Columbians,” it said.

City Attorney Nancy Thompson explained that it meant Columbia would be “a safe haven for all, while also establishing a policy framework to ensure LGBTQ families, individuals and establishments continue to feel safe in our community.”

The state’s largest city, Kansas City, implemented a similar ordinance in May 2023.

The one vote against the ordinance came from councilman Don Waterman, who argued that the ordinance, while well-meaning, was wholly unnecessary.

“I would wholeheartedly support a resolution, but an ordinance, I don’t see the need for it,” he said.

During the three-hour public comment portion of the meeting, citizens expressed similar sentiments against the ordinance.

“We already have laws in place, that already protect everyone here,” said resident Vicki Luther.

The Missouri state legislature banned “gender-affirming care” in the state in June 2023, prohibiting puberty blockers, hormone replacement therapy and genital surgeries for citizens under 18 years old.

The state also forbade their Medicaid system, MO HealthNet, from covering such treatments.

2-Minute Biden Attack Video Has 29 Cuts

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Joe Biden’s team released a new video on Feb. 20, 2024, in which Biden attacked Donald Trump and Republicans, but the only reason why Americans became even somewhat interested was because a lot of them noticed that a video that lasts only for two minutes has 29 cuts.

As a result of that, the video generated scrutiny for the reasons Biden and his team didn’t want, according to Blaze Media.

In the video, Biden attacked Trump for his anti-NATO remarks and claimed that Trump and Republicans “refuse” to hold Russian President Vladimir Putin “accountable” for the death of Alexei Navalny because they oppose sending more taxpayer money to Ukraine without first addressing exclusively American problems such as the border crisis.

“You may have heard some call into question the sanctity of America’s commitment to our Allies. That’s not who we are. We’re a nation that can be relied on, that stands up to Putin. Let’s prove it by passing the bipartisan National Security Bill so I can sign it into law,” Biden’s team wrote in the post.

People, however, didn’t bother to care about Biden’s rhetoric, instead concentrating on two other things about the video itself.

First of all, the video, which included an on-screen caption of Biden’s words, contained several spelling errors, such as a misspelled word “strength” and Navalny’s first name, and the caption completely omitted one of Biden’s words.

Second of all, the video contained a lot of edits — 29, to be more specific. In addition to that, it was noticed that Biden does not appear to speak for more than six seconds at a time without a cut.

“So when you’ve worked on the producing end as I did in my former life, some things are painfully easy to spot when the post-edit is complete. In this case, I counted 28 cuts in this 2-minute video. 28. In something this short, *maybe* you do 5-6 cuts max,” media expert and Fox News contributor Joe Concha wrote.

Blaze Media reported that the significant number of edits suggests that Biden had difficulty reading his script even with teleprompter help, which only brings more attention to his age and mental acuity.

Shock: Once-Woke GoFundMe Rejects Calls to Cancel Trump Fundraiser

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) GoFundMe, a notoriously left-wing crowdfunding platform, has rejected threats of boycott over its decision to allow a multi-million-dollar fundraiser aimed at helping former President Donald Trump settle the infamous civil judgment in New York City.

“This fundraiser is currently within our terms of service,” stated Jalen Drummond, GoFundMe’s director of public affairs and former Trump assistant press secretary, according to the New York Post.

Elena Cardone, the wife of private equity fund manager Grant Cardone, leads the fundraiser, already amassing over $1,035,066. The final goal is set at $355,000,000

Grant Cardone addressed the criticism on Twitter, saying, “Haters aren’t happy with some of them being less than ‘civil’ with their comments on the gofundme page.” He highlighted several disparaging comments: “[H]ope you die in a flaming wreck.”

The fundraiser officially commenced on Feb. 16 and is not affiliated with Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign—yet some left-wing critics are raising questions.

Hans von Spakovsky, head of the Heritage Foundation’s election integrity project and a former member of the Federal Election Commission, dismissed concerns about potential campaign law violations

“This GoFundMe campaign can’t be considered campaign contributions to Donald Trump because it’s paying legal expenses that would exist irrespective of the campaign,” he told the Post. “Remember all of the prosecutors in these cases are saying, ‘Oh, these cases have absolutely nothing to do with his candidacy,’ right?”

Grant Cardone urged associates to “discontinue all underwriting” on New York City real estate following a left-wing judge’s ruling that mandated Trump to pay $355 million in civil fines resulting from a lawsuit filed by Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat who campaigned on persecuting the Trump Organization.

James alleged that Trump inflated his business finances in what she claimed was an illegal plot to obtain generous loans at low interest. Meanwhile, Trump has long maintained his innocence, stating that the banks that loaned him money were ultimately repaid.

After the order, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul attempted to reassure concerned business owners about the state’s safety for conducting business.

GoFundMe’s temporary decision not to ban the fundraiser contradicts the company’s prior actions regarding prominent fundraisers associated with conservative causes. In 2022, GoFundMe banned the Freedom Convoy 2022’s fundraiser, which had gathered $10 million in donations, asserting that the funds were promoting violence in Canada.

Instead, GoFundMe pledged to re-donate the funds to “credible and established charities.

Biden’s Shady Executive Order Weaponizes Agriculture Dept. to Register Democrats

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was recently revealed that Joe Biden intends to steal the upcoming 2024 election by transforming nearly the entire federal government into a DNC voter registration machine, especially focusing on mass registering non-white voters.

The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project wrote that “the rigging of the 2024 election is well underway,” adding that “Biden has tasked the entirety of the federal government to work directly with Democrat Get-Out-The-Vote operations.”

It was also reported that these operations are now giving instructions to federal employees as they use the money of American taxpayers to hit their goal of registering 3 million new Democrat voters every year.

“A key organizer and coordinator of this effort is the dark money group [Demos] with deep ties to [Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.] and progressive groups,” the Oversight Project wrote.

The National File reported that the leftists are also heavily focused on the United States Department of Agriculture, which is among the federal agencies spearheading the program.

The USDA has been used for a very long time by both Barack Obama and Biden as a way to discriminate against white people, the news source added. Before them, Bill Clinton was using the USDA to register as many Democratic voters as possible.

This new drive for voter registration originated from Joe Biden’s executive order that was signed by him in March 2021. According to the news source, the “Promoting Access to Voting” executive order referred to “obstacles” faced by non-white voters, like a “lack of election information,” thus implying that Biden will be disseminating federally-approved election and campaign information to those they register.

“Barriers to access at polling places” were also mentioned in the order, which likely refers to voter ID laws that were adopted to keep illegal aliens from voting and to prevent the stealing of an upcoming election. In addition to that, Biden claimed that the voter ID laws are racist, as well as the “long lines” that he claims non-white voters are faced with at polling places.

Also, the order called for election materials to be presented in languages other than English not just at polling places and on the Vote.Gov site but also in federal prisons where inmates have access to “educational materials related to voter registration and voting.”

Biden also ordered the U.S. Marshals to “facilitate voting by mail” from federal prisons, the news source added.
