Trump Honored by Hundreds of Black Republicans in ‘Biden’s Absolute Worst Nightmare’

(Headline USA) Golden and scarlet balloons adorned an entrance guarded by the Secret Service that led straight to a bar abuzz with excited reunions, a line of attendees waiting to take pictures at a photo wall and a spacious auditorium set to celebrate a unique subset of the conservative movement in downtown Columbia, S.C., last weekend: black Republicans.

The Black Conservative Federation’s honors gala convened around 500 largely black conservative lawmakers, activists, pundits and donors for a formal affair.

The mood at the Friday evening event was buoyed by its guest of honor, Donald Trump, whose 2020 campaign made tremendous gains for the GOP in winning black support and who appears poised to build on that in the coming 2024 election.

“I’m thrilled to be here tonight with Crooked Joe Biden’s absolute worst nightmare: hundreds of proud, black, conservative American patriots,” said Trump, who received a “Champion of Black America” award at the event, to applause from the audience.

Indeed, several black surrogates of the president were dispatched to go on the offensive in attacking Trump afterward.

On Monday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre called Trump’s comments “repugnant and divisive.”

Biden’s reelection campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond said they were “insulting,” “moronic” and “plainly racist.”

Civil rights activist Al Sharpton called them “an epitome of an insult to black folks” and criticized the night’s attendees. “If any black Republicans had any dignity they would denounce this characterization of black folks by Donald Trump.”

Nikki Haley—Trump’s last standing presidential primary rival, who identifies as brown-skinned—called the gala speech just days before the South Carolina primary “disgusting.”

Yet, to the contrary, the barrage of attacks seemed to signal something else: that Trump may be hitting the mark and sending Democrats into a panic.

“Black Americans are waking up to the reality that the Democratic Party has taken advantage of them, and the media and the party are terrified,” Black Conservative Federation President Diante Johnson said in a statement on Monday, responding to backlash over Trump’s speech.

“No amount of media deception or liberal race-baiting will sway the minds of black voters who will cast their ballots this November for safer streets, a better financial well-being, a secure border, and a complete rejection of Joe Biden’s disastrous tenure,” Johnson said.

Normally held in Washington, D.C., the gala was relocated this year to Columbia, S.C. on the eve of the GOP Republican primary, where Trump handily dispatched Haley, the state’s former governor.

It was a meaningful shift in venue. At a time when Republicans have signaled greater interest in making inroads with communities of color, the dinner served as an opportunity to highlight the GOP’s pitch to black voters.

But for its attendees, who paid between $100 and $500 for a seat at the closed-door event, the gala also served as a homecoming for a segment of black GOP voters who reject suggestions that the party and its leaders are racists. The event featured a litany of speeches and prayers by high-profile black Republicans, with musical performances by a jazz band that covered tunes by John Legend.

“It’s grown tremendously since the beginning,” said Melanie Collette, a gala attendee and Republican county commissioner in Cape May, N.J.

Trump, she said, did not “take the traditional Republican attitude, which is, ‘We’re not going to get their votes anyway so let’s not even bother.’”

“The numbers are picking up [with black men], and I just hope and pray that a lot more female blacks will come to the light and come to the truth,” said Alvin Portee Jr., a Columbia resident who attended the gala in a suit and top hat bearing Abraham Lincoln’s face.

“I would say that the first Civil War was about black people, and this is our civil war now,” he said.

Trump’s freewheeling comments throughout the night, at times received with enthusiastic applause and raucous laughter, were roundly condemned by Democrats, including black community leaders who remain unquestioningly loyal to the party, despite the long history of racism from Biden.

He mused that “the black people like me” because of his numerous criminal indictments and mug shot taken as part of the ongoing election interference case in Georgia. Black people can relate to being criminalized like him, Trump said, because of systemic discrimination in the courts.

Frequently throughout his 90-minute appearance, the gala audience praised and reveled in the former president’s address. Black Republican leaders also received applause for criticizing Democratic policies on diversity and inclusion, economics, immigration and education.

“Here I stand before you being judged literally not by the color of my skin but the content of my character,” said Rep. Wesley Hunt, referencing the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s most famous speech. “Some people believe otherwise and think that people like us in this room don’t exist. So it’s up to us to tell the truth about what it is that we’re doing.”

The night’s high energy and impassioned rhetoric largely sidestepped the challenges facing Republicans in making their goals with black Americans a reality.

Black voters regularly back Democrats by margins around 90%, a higher rate than any other racial demographic. However, black enthusiasm for President Joe Biden has slipped slightly over the past year.

Only 42% of black adults said they approve of Biden in a January AP-NORC poll. That’s down from the 56% of black adults who had a favorable view of Biden in December.

Meanwhile, 25% of black adults had a favorable opinion of Trump in December—which was nearly double what he had in the previous election and up from single digits for Republicans prior to his presidency.

Even a small shift in this demographic, which Democrats have long taken for granted, could prove to be politically catastrophic in a razor-thin election decided in the urban areas of a handful of battleground states.

Many attendees were optimistic that they may finally be gaining greater attention and influence in both realms.

Vivian Childs, a GOP activist and business owner who traveled to the event from Warner Robins, Georgia, said she took no issue with Trump’s sometimes clumsy attempts to appeal to black voters. She chuckled when asked about the former president promoting his custom metallic gold and red shoes at Sneaker Con, which some surrogates pointed out as an appeal to black voters.

“Look how many people he gets to listen. When he does those things, he’s bringing in another group of people that may not have paid him attention. Now he has their attention,” said Childs. “You have to reach the student where they are. And he’s reaching people right where they are.”

NYC Guards at Illegals’ Shelters Paid $117/Hr—Four Times Average

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Are they overpaid or is it worth the risk? New Yorkers may soon grapple with these questions following a Tuesday audit revealing that security guards at shelters for illegal immigrants are earning a generous hourly rate of $117.00.

This amount is more than four times the average rate and is granted under no-bid contracts, as disclosed by the Office of the New York City Comptroller in a comprehensive audit.

The report addressed what seemed to be rushed agreements between Mayor Eric Adams and city contractors, the New York Post reported, citing the audit.

“The city’s haphazard approach to entering these contracts – and their subsequent failure to compare or control prices across them – underscores the pitfalls of inadequate management of emergency procurement,” City Comptroller Brad Lander said of the audit.

Lander accused the city government of unnecessarily spending “millions of dollars.” He emphasized, “Rather than evicting people from shelter in the middle of winter, the City should insist on getting the most competitive prices from its own contractors in order to keep costs down.”

According to the Post, the city’s payment range for security guards varied from $50 to $117, nearly double the $27.58 average wage. Notably, the city disbursed $117, $90 and $50 to contracting firms Garner, SLCO and DocGo, respectively.

The audit also criticized the disparity in wages among other positions. For instance, case managers employed by SLSCO receive over 237% more than those at Essey Group LLC, even though both staff provide identical services, the audit decried.

Strikingly, SLSCO billed the city $201.06 per hour for off-site managers, a figure double what Garner, another contracting firm, invoiced the city. The $201.06 sum is four times higher than the billing from DocGo, a separate contractor.

The audit disturbingly revealed that Adams could have saved approximately $50 million “if certain staffing had been provided by hiring city employees rather than through the emergency contract.”

The surge in undocumented immigrants prompted Adams to hastily secure no-bid contracts with these companies, as he seeks financial assistance from the federal government.

“We need to get support from the state and federal partners, but we’re not sitting on the sideline,” Adams declared on Monday, addressing the city’s fiscal reserves. “We know we have the obligations and responsibility to navigate the city through the fiscal crisis and through the migrant and asylum seeker crisis.”

China Secretly Arms American Criminals w/ Machine Guns

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was revealed that China continues to destroy the United States from within by importing devices that turn handguns into machine pistols.

Police, as well as East Baton Rouge, La., district attorney Hillar Moore and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, are already warning of a surge in “auto sear switches” or “Glock switches,” modifications that transform handguns into fully automatic weapons, according to the Daily Mail.

In his book, bestselling author Peter Schweizer wrote that CCP is complicit in the supply of cheap and illegal devices to American criminals, following a playbook that was developed with the deadly drug fentanyl.

Schweizer also added that American lawmakers are more interested in targeting gun owners at home than stopping the illegal trade from overseas.

“As with the fentanyl trade, when it comes to the illegal weapons and parts trade, the Chinese government appears complicit. Chinese authorities appear to have made little effort to stop online sales. They also seem unmotivated to stop the deceptive production and distribution practices that are used to evade US authorities,” he wrote in Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans, which was published on Feb. 20, 2024.

The devices are small, only about the size of a quarter piece, can be easily fitted to Glock handguns, allow pistols to fire continuously on a single pull of the trigger, cost about $50 and are easily available since they can be bought on websites and imported or increasingly manufactured domestically on a 3D-printer.

Schweizer added that the export of deadly devices is part of China’s deliberate strategy that was called the “Century of Humiliation.” The title refers to the West trying to weaken the country by supporting different factions and arming warring parties in the past.

“In the same way that it flipped the Opium Wars of the nineteenth century and created the Fentanyl Wars of the twenty-first century, Beijing now works to create a Century of Humiliation and weaken the United States by fomenting division by putting weapon-enhancing technologies into the hands of felons and criminal gangs, but also fueling social division on US streets,” he wrote.

House Oversight Committee Investigates Legality of ESG Polices

(The Republican-led House Oversight Committee is launching an investigation into how large investors’ woke policies are impacting Americans.

House Oversight Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., sent a letter this week to Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System General Counsel Mark Van Der Weide raising the question: Does this bias and collusion among investors violate federal law?

“Is working in concert to achieve the goals of these agreements inseverable across entities, warrant an aggregation test counting the ownership across signatories whereby a party would meet the ownership threshold by virtue of entering into the agreement, thus exposing all signatories to potentially being subject to the Federal banking laws?” the letter said.

Those policies, known as “Environmental, Social and Governance” or ESG, include commitments by asset managers toinvest only in companies that meet a certain far-left ideology litmus test.

Those asset managers often oversee billions of dollars that go into the U.S. economy.

“As part of this review… the Committee is examining whether (1) certain asset managers are in breach of agreements with the Federal Reserve System and (2) how the broader asset management industry may be subject to the Bank Holding Company Act, the Home Owners Loan Act, and the Change in Bank Control Act as a result of ESG related pledges and actions taken pursuant to those pledges,” the letter said.

The committee held a hearing on the topic last year examining how investors are working to push left-wing advocacy and purposefully neglecting conservatives.

Many Republicans have pushed back on the ESG trend, which has gained steam in recent years, with some saying it is illegal.

Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., introduced a bill last year to ban ESG practices, saying that purposefully avoiding fossil-fuel investments that could benefit shareholders for ideological reasons violates their fiduciary duty.

A companion bill was introduced in the House.

“Pledges to act in concert with other signatories, actively pursue outcomes and use all assets under management to achieve the stated goals of the various agreements, appear to directly violate the terms laid out in your 2019 and 2020 letters,” Comer’s letter said, referencing previous Federal Reserve statements.

“Your 2019 letter notes, ‘For the purposes of the BHC Act, a company controls another company if the first company directly or indirectly or acting in concert through one or more other persons, controls, or has the power to vote 25 percent or more of any class of voting securities of the second company,'” it continued. “These pledges also raise questions about whether other asset managers, who have not sought relief from the Federal Reserve Board, could be subject to the BHC Act, HOLA, and CIBC Act due to their concerted action with other asset managers,” he added.

Va. Lt. Gov. Accidentally Misgenders Tranny State Sen., Prompting Dem. Walkout

(The use of a male pronoun interrupted the Virginia Senate’s proceedings on Monday.

The state’s first elected transgender senator, Sen. Danica Roem, D-Prince William, was addressing Republican Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears, who presides over the chamber, with some questions when Sears, seemingly offhandedly, referred to Roem as “sir” in her second response to the senator.

Roem quietly and immediately left the chamber. After a few moments, several other senators also rose and left.

Sears tried to continue with the agenda but obliged when Sen. Scott Surovell, D-Fairfax, requested a recess.

They reconvened minutes later, but the commotion still appeared to be interfering with the Senate’s business, so Sears put the Senate at ease.

Returning from the break, Sears sternly addressed the chamber.

“Let it be known, I am not here to upset anyone. I am here to do the job that the people of Virginia have called me to do,” she said.

She softened some as she went on but still demanded that she be shown “respect and dignity,” appearing frustrated with the interruptions from the incident.

“It is never my intention to make anyone offended, and I hope that others would consider that they would try not to offend me, as well.”

She also exhorted the body to show grace to each other in such instances.

The chamber returned to its normal proceedings.

Roem did not make a public statement on Monday and was silent on Twitter, where legislators sometimes comment on chamber business.

‘MAGA Mike’ Faces Intense Pressure from Dems to Fund Ukraine

(Headline USA) Congressional leaders emerged from an “intense” Oval Office meeting with President Joe Biden on Tuesday speaking optimistically about the prospects for avoiding a partial government shutdown.

Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., meanwhile, faced a barrage of intense pressure from the gaggle of corrupt leftists, along with RINO Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky—all hoping to launder billions of dollars through Ukraine and back into the coffers of the Democratic National Committee ahead of the 2024 election.

“The need is urgent,” Biden said of the Ukraine aid. “The consequences of inaction every day in Ukraine are dire.”

Along with the two Republican legislative leaders, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., and Vice President Kamala Harris were on hand to pile the pressure onto the newly elected GOP House speaker.

Central Intelligence Agency Director Bill Burns also joined Tuesday’s meeting, fresh off a recent New York Times report that acknowledged his agency operated 12 secret bases in Ukraine.

After the more than hour-long meeting, Biden pulled Johnson aside for a private conversation.

Democratic leaders, upon exiting the meeting, continued to press their talking points about the dire need for Ukraine aid as, two years into the conflict, no signs of a diplomatic resolution have emerged.

Public support is fast evaporation, and many suspect that the government has been less than forthright in conveying its true purpose in waging the proxy war against Russia as, domestically, problems continue to compound.

“We said to the speaker, ‘get it done,” said Schumer. “I said I’ve been around here a long time, it’s maybe four or five times that history is looking over your shoulder and if you don’t do the right thing, whatever the immediate politics are, you will regret it.”

Referring to Johnson, he said, “Really, it’s in his hands. It’s in his hands.”

Schumer, who was joined by Jeffries in describing how the meeting went, called the session “one of the most intense I’ve ever encountered” in the Oval Office.

Johnson spoke to reporters on his own, without McConnell by his side. McConnell voted for a $95 billion foreign package earlier this month that would aid Ukraine and Israel, as well as provide humanitarian assistance for Gaza and the West Bank. The bill passed the Senate 70-29, but the Republican-led House has not acted on it.

House Republicans already rejected a border security provision that offered the appearance of compromise but would, in fact, have done little to address the dire problem cause by the Biden administration’s flagrant disregard for enforcing U.S. immigration laws. That measure was eventually stripped from the final product.

Johnson said the Senate’s package likewise “does nothing” to secure the U.S.–Mexico border, the GOP’s demand in return for helping Ukraine.

“The first priority of the country is our border, and making it secure,” Johnson said.

“It’s time for action,” he continued. “It is a catastrophe, and it must stop.”

Despite having thus far refused to bring the House’s H.B. 2 border-security bill to a vote for more than a year, Schumer claimed Democrats, too, wanted to tackle the problems at the U.S–Mexico border, but that it would take time and “we have to do Ukraine right now.”

In the meeting, “we made it clear how vital this was to the United States. This was so, so important, and that we couldn’t afford to wait a month or two months or three months, because we would in all likelihood lose the war, NATO would be fractured at best, allies would turn away from the United States, and the boldest leaders, the boldest autocrats of the world … would be emboldened,” he claimed, piling on the same melodramatic hyperbole that many Americans have become jaded to since the war began.

McConnell upon returning from the meeting called on the House to take up the Senate-passed bill.

“We don’t want the Russians to win in Ukraine, and so we have a time problem here,” McConnell said. “And the best way to move quickly and get the bill to the president would be for the House to take up the Senate bill.”

Apart from the national security package, government funding for agriculture, transportation, military construction and some veterans’ services expires Friday. And funding for the rest of the government, including the Pentagon, the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department, expires a week later, on March 8, the day after Biden is set to deliver his State of the Union address.

“It’s Congress responsibility to fund the government,” Biden said. “A government shutdown would damage the economy significantly. We need a bipartisan solution.”

There is no reason that the Ukraine aid bill would be tied to other government appropriations unless Democrats attempt a maneuver to link them.

The congressional leaders seemed more hopeful that they would be able to prevent any shutdown, though it may require another short-term extension to be passed this week.

“We are making real progress on the appropriations bills that are scheduled to lapse on March 1,” Jeffries said. “And I’m cautiously optimistic that we can do what is necessary within the next day or so to close down these bills and avoid a government shutdown.”

For once, Johnson was in agreement on that point.

“We believe that we can get to agreement on these issues and prevent a government shutdown. And that’s our first responsibility,” Johnson said.

Smith’s Pinky Promise: Trump’s Case Not ‘Remotely Similar’ to Biden’s

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Special Counsel Jack Smith has resisted calls for dropping the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump, despite Special Counsel Robert Hurt clearing President Joe Biden of wrongdoing for comparable actions.

Smith declared on a Monday filing that the case against Trump—a former president with the authority to declassify documents—is different from that of Biden—a former vice president who held classified documents for several years and whose powers did not include declassification.

According to Fox News, prosecutors for Smith attempted to dispel allegations of a two-tier justice system after Biden did not face criminal charges for mishandling classified documents. In contrast, Trump faced a 40-count indictment for the alleged illegal retention of documents from his tenure as president.

“The defendants have not identified anyone who has engaged in a remotely similar suite of willful and deceitful criminal conduct and not been prosecuted,” Assistant Special Counsel David Harcbach wrote. “Nor could they. Indeed, the comparators on which they rely are readily distinguishable.”

Trump previously filed a motion seeking dismissal of the case because of “selective and vindictive prosecution.” But Smith’s team retorted these allegations in the filing.

Harcbach specifically cited Special Counsel Robert Hurt’s report that ultimately recommended against the prosecution of Biden despite evidence that he “willfully” retained classified documents while having no authority to do so.

“But as the Hur Report itself recognizes, ‘several material distinctions between Mr. Trump’s case and Mr. Biden’s are clear,’” Harbach added, alleging that Trump carried repeated efforts to obstruct justice and block the return of documents to the National Archives.

“And the evidence concerning the two men’s intent – whether they knowingly possessed and willfully retained such documents – is also starkly different, as reflected in the Hur Report’s conclusion that ‘the evidence falls short of establishing Mr. Biden’s willful retention of the classified Afghanistan documents beyond a reasonable doubt,’” she continued.

Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed both Smith and Hurt to independently investigate the retention of classified documents of Trump and Biden, respectively. Trump has long accused the DOJ of seeking to block his 2024 White House bid by pressing charges against him.

NYTimes Exposes CIA Bases in Ukraine to Bolster Support for $61B Aid Package

(Matthew Doarnberger, Headline USA) The New York Times formally acknowledged that the Central Intelligence Agency had established and supported 12 secret bases located, in Ukraine in a recent article titled The Spy War: How the C.I.A. Secretly Helps Ukraine Fight Putin.

The article, which conveniently ran as heated negotiations over Ukraine funding reach a critical juncture in the U.S. House, appeared to dispel some of the narratives suggesting that America’s present military and financial support for the former Soviet territory sprung up organically following Russian President Vladimir Putin’s February 2022 invasion, as part of a mission to defend “democracy” in Europe.

“The partnership is no wartime creation, nor is Ukraine the only beneficiary,” the Times conceded, noting that its true origin may have been with the Obama-era color revolution in 2014 that ousted Ukraine’s Russia-friendly leader and installed one who was equally corrupt but more pliable to U.S. interests.

“It took root a decade ago,” said the Times, adding that “… it has transformed Ukraine, whose intelligence agencies were long seen as thoroughly compromised by Russia, into one of Washington’s most important intelligence partners against the Kremlin today.”

The findings were based on 200 interviews with current and former intelligence officials in Ukraine, Europe and the U.S.

Referring to Ukraine as an “intelligence-gathering hub, the article claimed the purpose for the CIA bases was to aid its government in tracking Russian spy satellites and eavesdroping on conversations between Russian commanders.

However, others have pointed to the presence of bioweapons research facilities near the border between the two countries as another possible reason for fearing Russian control over the region.

“In addition to the bases, CIA proxy, USAID, funded and operated biolabs in Ukraine, as part of project PREDICT, a preemptive pandemic response program, looking for animal viruses in nature, so they could then enhance the functions, and make vaccines for viruses that don’t exist yet, and might never exist,” wrote the investigative blogger Clandestine in a post following the Times article.

“In other words, the CIA were conducting gain of function/directed evolution research on bat coronaviruses in Ukraine, starting in 2014,” Clandestine added.

The presence of biolabs was inadvertently confirmed by U.S. Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland, considered by many to have been the architect of the Kiev’s so-called Orange Revolution, during testimony before Congress a month after the Russian invasion.

“Ukraine has biological research facilities which we are now quite concerned Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of,” she said in response to a question from Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., at the hearing of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

The active gaslighting surrounding the CIA’s operations in Ukraine, along with the country’s notorious corruption, has fueled considerable specualtion as to how U.S. funds might actually be getting spent and the American government’s true motives may be.

“Russia tried to go the diplomatic route, and the West just cried ‘Russian disinformation’, while they were the ones pushing disinformation,” noted Clandestine in another blog post.

“The West also went out of their way to censor independent journalists like me who have been telling you this from day one, because if the public knew this detail the entire time, they wouldn’t have supported sending our tax dollars there,” the blogger continued. “This is going to be a tough pill to swallow for many Americans, but Russia are not the bad guys in this scenario. The West are, and it’s not even close.”

With the war between Russia and Ukraine now having lasted over two years, public sentiment on Americas’ prioritization in funding the forever war over domestic priorities has begun to sour.

The Biden administration and its allies—including many Establishment Republicans—have insisted that U.S. funding of Ukraine is especially vital while attempting to pass a $61 billion aid bill through Congress that would largely go toward the war there.

However, enough Republicans have pushed back on the latest funding that serious doubts remain about the bill’s passage. As a result, CIA Director William J. Burns made his 10th visit to Ukraine since the start of the war last Thursday, in order to reassure leaders of the money to come.

When asked in a recent CNN interview about the aid money, Nuland expressed confidence that the bill would pass after members of Congress returned from their districts.

“We will do what we have always done, which is defend democracy and freedom around the world,” Nuland claimed.

Despite her optimism, public opinion seemed to be trending in the other direction.

According to a recent Harris poll, 70% of Americans wanted Ukraine to negotiate peace with Russia as soon as possible. This was a nine-point jump from a previous poll conducted in late 2022.

Critics Attribute Venezuela’s 22-Year Low Murder Rate to Biden’s Open Border

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Venezuela, a socialist and poverty-stricken Central American country, has experienced its lowest violent death rate since 2001 as it faces a population exodus heading to the U.S., according to a recently resurfaced Bloomberg report.

The Venezuelan Violence Observatory found a decrease to 26.8 violent deaths per 100,000 residents, a significant drop from the 35.3 registered in 2023, Bloomberg reported in December 2023.

Observers attribute this decline to factors such as illegal immigration and the Biden administration’s relaxed border policy. Comparatively, Venezuelan nationals have faced criticism for their contributing role in the U.S.’s rampant crime wave, including murder, attempted murder, violent assault and shoplifting.

“Venezuela has its lowest homicide rate in 22 years because their gangs are coming here,” commented “End Wokeness” on Twitter, a page known for its conservative views and criticism of the left. “Read that again and let it sink it.”

On Tuesday, Rep. Troy E. Nehls, R-Texas, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, shared a 2022 letter questioning DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas about initial reports suggesting that Venezuela was releasing violent criminals from prison to send them to the U.S.

“I was right in sending this letter,” Nehls wrote on Twitter. “In the past week alone, we’ve seen the tragic consequences of releasing Venezuelan nationals into the country. It’s time to put Americans first—not violent Venezuelans.”

Nehls’s comments come in the wake of high-profile criminal cases that sent shivers down Americans’ spines. Most recently, 26-year-old Venezuelan national Jose Antonia Ibarra faces several charges for the murder of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student in Georgia.

Authorities reported that Ibarra randomly attacked the beloved student before brutally ending her life, with medical examinations determining blunt force trauma as the cause of death.

The Biden administration had released Ibarra into the U.S. under parole. He resided in New York City, where he also had another run-in with law enforcement before making his way to Georgia, where he allegedly committed the brutal murder.

New York City itself has witnessed a rising wave of crime attributed to Venezuelan nationals, as announced by the NYPD earlier this month.

Fifteen-year-old Venezuelan national Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa is facing attempted murder charges after shooting a Brazilian tourist and several NYPD officers who pursued him following an alleged shoplifting incident at a Times Square clothing store.

Just weeks earlier, several Venezuelan nationals were charged with the brutal assault of two NYPD officers. Some of these individuals gained national attention after flipping their middle fingers at reporters stationed outside a police precinct.

Franco Alexander Peraza Navas, a 30-year-old Venezuelan national currently in custody for his role in a violent gang, told investigators that the criminal network was “bigger” than him. “In a million years, I never thought you’d catch me,” Navas reportedly said. “I’ve been going to Miami every three weeks. And it’s much bigger than me.”

Unlike most nationals in South and Central America, Venezuelans enjoy Temporary Protected Status (TPS), allowing them to stay in the U.S. due to concerns about socialism in their home country. However, sentiment towards Venezuelans has soured in recent years as they flood into the U.S. in unprecedented numbers.

Libs of TikTok Founder Slams ‘Lizard Person’ Taylor Lorenz after Tense, Hourlong Interview

0

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Libs of TikTok founder Chaya Raichik responded to a hit piece by Washington Post journalist Taylor Lorenz after a tense, hourlong interview between the two of them.

Raichik posted a lengthy list of grievances against Lorenz on Twitter, saying the journalist was “not at all concerned about our open border,” was “pro mutilation and castration of minors,” wanted the media “to be allowed to defame [her] with impunity” and was “a lizard person.”

The interview itself covered a wide range of issues, including the border, transgenderism, appropriate and inappropriate books for kids to read in schools, and Lorenz’s age.

Lorenz, who recently accused Americans of sending COVID to infect Gazans, wore a mask to the interview, which was outdoors.

Raichik wore a T-shirt with a picture of Lorenz breaking down in an infamous interview where she cried about being doxxed, just before doxxing Raichik’s family and revealing her previously concealed identity to the world.

Through the course of the interview, Raichik asked Lorenz about her beliefs on gender ideology and life-altering transgender surgeries. Lorenz responded, tellingly, by comparing those procedures to plastic surgery.

“I grew up in a town where a lot of people for their middle school graduation, women got nose jobs,” explained Lorenz—a Greenwich, Connecticut, native whose uncle cofounded the popular Internet archive known as the “Wayback Machine,” and who attended an elite Swiss boarding school.

“I know someone who got a boob job at age 14,” Lorenz continued. “I guess I struggle to understand the criticism [of transition surgeries] when there’s certainly no criticism of that sort of thing, but then there’s criticism of this other gender-affirming stuff.”

“Are you comparing a boy being allowed to chop off his penis to a teenage girl getting a nose job?” Raichick asked.

“Just to be extra clear, I don’t believe 13-year-olds are able to make those sort of medical decisions,” Lorenz said, in an attempt to dodge the question.

Lorenz also admitted that she neglected to read any of the controversial pornographic books being allowed in schools, such as Gender Queer or This Book is Gay.

When Raichik showed her the pictures from the books, she claimed that they “lacked context” and refused to judge educators who promoted the X-rated material in their classrooms.

Throughout the often farcical interview, Lorenz attempted to accuse Raichik of bomb threats, claimed Miami was going to disappear because of global warming and even asked after Raichik’s mom, whom she saw through the window when she revealed her identity.
