Soros Chooses American Airwaves as His New Target

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was revealed that an investment firm founded by billionaire George Soros is preparing to ramp up its influence in the broadcasting industry all around the United States.

Sources that are familiar with Soros Fund Management (SFM), which is controlled by Open Society Foundations (OSF), told Semafor that the organization has made multiple high-profile media acquisitions over the past two years and is in discussions to purchase even more, while other Soros’s mass media puppets are being shut down.

OSF, a network of nonprofits Soros founded in 1984, has spent billions funding leftist organizations all around the world, its website stated. In addition to that, since 1984, Soros himself spent more than $32 billion on spreading the far-left propaganda.

SFM began its recent string of media purchases in 2022 by investing an undisclosed amount into Crooked Media, a popular leftist podcast network, according to the Daily Caller.

Lakestar Finance, an investment firm where Soros Fund Management serves as the “principal investment manager,” also gave $60 million to Latino Media Network so that it would purchase 18 Spanish-language radio stations operating across the U.S., among which was the conservative Radio Mambí in the state of Florida, the New York Post reported.

Some of the hosts on these Spanish-speaking radio stations left their shows because they disagreed with leftist editors who were hired by the organization after the purchase, the news source added.

The Soros network started buying podcasts and radio stations in February 2024 when SFM acquired over $400 million worth of debt owed by Audacy, the nation’s second-largest network of radio stations that is based in Texas.

Since then, the debt has been converted into equity as part of a corporate restructuring plan, which made SFM one of Audacy’s largest shareholders.

Semafor also reported after talking to the three people who have been involved in discussions with Soros executives that these acquisitions could be part of a larger push to cement control over audio-based media.

In addition to that, SFM privately discussed acquiring Cumulus Media, a radio network that operates 403 networks and reaches a quarter of a billion people every month, the Caller reported.

MSNBC Laments Trump’s $50M Fundraiser: ‘Luckiest Guy in the World’

(Headline USA) MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle reacted on Sunday to news of former President Donald Trump’s latest fundraising haul by complaining that Trump is the “luckiest man in the world.”

In an appearance on Inside with Jen Psaki, Ruhle admitted that Trump’s $50.5 million haul from one fundraising event last quarter could very well cover the legal fees that have accumulated from Democrats’ multiple cases against him.

“He’s the luckiest guy in the world,” Ruhle said.

Just think about this—he’s sitting there facing hundreds of millions of dollars and fines and legal bills; he’s got 80-plus charges against him, and he’s running for president,” she continued, ignoring the cause-and-effect relationship between Trump’s political pursuits and the leftist lawfare attacks that have cost him hundreds of millions of dollars.

“He could end up cashing out of this and finding a solution,” bemoaned Ruhle.

On top of his fundraising haul, Trump’s ability to secure a $175 million loan from California billionaire Don Hankey for his bond in his New York civil case was “extraordinary,” Ruhle said.

“He said, ‘I actually thought Trump had the money—he wouldn’t need it,'” Ruhle said of Hankey. “Maybe Donald Trump does, but you know he specializes in? OPM: spending other people’s money, and he’s done it again.”

In a separate interview with late night host Seth Meyers last week, Ruhle similarly lamented Trump’s net worth increase after the newly-merged Trump Media and Technology company began trading on the NASDAQ stock exchange.

“It’s unbelievable!” she said. “He can tell lie after lie and it keeps on working for him … And the only thing this company does, they have no tech innovations, they have no products. It’s just him crazy-posting. … And this thing is valued in the multi billions.”

Trump’s campaign celebrated the former president’s fundraising haul over the weekend, arguing it rebuffs arguments by Democrats that Trump won’t be able to catch up to President Joe Biden in accumulating cash.

“It’s clearer than ever that we have the message, the operation, and the money to propel President Trump to victory on Nov. 5,” Trump campaign senior advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said in a statement.

Washed-Up Star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Regrets Endorsing Biden in 2020

(Headline USA) Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson admitted last week that he regrets endorsing President Joe Biden in 2020 and that he won’t do so again ahead of this year’s presidential election.

“The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was one I thought was the best decision for me at that time,” Johnson said in an interview with Fox News’s Will Cain released Friday.

“I thought back then … I’m in this position where I have some influence,” Johnson said. “I felt like that then: ‘It’s my job now to exercise my influence and share this is who I’m going to endorse.’”

However, Johnson said he now realizes that offering his support to Biden caused “an incredible amount of division in our country.”

Although conservatives did not explicitly call for a boycott of Johnson—who was one of many Hollywood celebrities to stake their own reputations on offering unsolicited political opinions—his decision also overlapped, coincidentally, with a precipitous decline in his own star-power.

Since he struck box-office gold in late 2019, with sequels from the Jumanji and Fast and Furious franchises propelling him to the top for bankable movie stars, he has presided over at least five relative flops.

Asked whether he’d considering endorsing Biden or former President Donald Trump in the 2024 race, Johnson said he would not.

“So I realized now going into this election, I’m not going to do that,” he told Cain.

“I wouldn’t do that because my goal is to bring our country together. I believe in that in my DNA,” he continued. “In the spirit of that, there’s gonna be no endorsement. Not that I’m afraid of it at all, but it’s just I realize that this level of influence, I’m going to keep my politics to myself. I think it’s between me and the ballot box.”

Johnson also noted that he would accept whoever is elected in November.

“While, like, a lot of us out there are not trusting of all politicians, I do trust the American people,” he said. “

“And I trust that whoever they vote for, that’s going to be my president,” he added. “And that’s who I’m going to support 100%.”

The wrestler-turned-actor has flirted with his own political bid in recent years, including a run for the White House.

“I would consider a presidential run in the future if that’s what the people wanted,” Johnson said in 2021.

“Truly, I mean that, and I’m not flippant in any way with my answer. That would be up to the people,” he continued. “… So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear to the ground.”

Fetterman Blasts Squatters’ Rights, Soft-on-Crime Policies: ‘I Am Not Woke’

(Headline USA) Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., blasted squatters and leftist soft-on-crime policies this weekend, insisting he is not “woke.”

Asked about multiple reports in recent months of squatters taking over law-abiding citizens’ homes, Fetterman told the New York Post that squatters have “no rights” and should be charged as criminals.

“How can you even pretend that this is anything other than you’re just breaking the law?” he said.

“It’s wild, that if you go away on a long trip, for 30 days, and someone breaks into your home and suddenly they have rights,” he continued. “This is crazy. Like, if somebody stole your car and then they held it for 30 days, then somehow you now have some rights?”

Fetterman also urged city officials across the country to adopt more aggressive crime policies, specifically blasting New York City for the death of police officer Jonathan Diller, whose alleged murderer had several prior arrests.

“If you have those kinds of established records, it doesn’t serve any greater goal to allow people that are offending, offending, offending and allow them to not be held accountable,” Fetterman said.

When asked why he’s willing to take positions that much of the Left would reject, Fetterman clarified, “I am not woke.”

The Pennsylvania Democrat has become increasingly distant from the Democratic Party’s left-flank, despite running as a progressive in 2020. Particularly on the issue of Israel, Fetterman has been more and more willing to break with party leadership.

Responding to recent comments from Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., recent comments against the Israeli government, for example, Fetterman said Democrats need to check themselves.

“To call for effectively… like a regime change, I disagree,” Fetterman said.

“I didn’t agree because Israel is a democracy, it is our key special ally,” he continued. “And our nation wouldn’t appreciate any kind of foreign input. So why should we do that for Israel?”

Biden May Be Ineligible for Ohio’s General Election Ballot

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Much speculation has surrounded the Democratic National Committee’s plan to hold its convention as late as possible—in August—to maximize the benefit it receives in terms of an anticipated polling boost—and possibly to pull off a bait-and-switch operation to replace current President Joe Biden on the ballot.

However, at least one red-state official could throw cold water on that plan, warning them that their late convention may result in the selected candidate being ineligible for the November ballot.

Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose sent a letter to the Democratic National Convention, warning them that their convention is due to take place after the state’s mandatory deadline, according to NBC News.

“The Democratic National Convention is scheduled to convene on August 19, 2024, which occurs more than a week after the August 7 deadline to certify a presidential candidate to the office,” said Paul Disantis, chief legal counsel for LaRose..

Disantis addressed the letter to several Democratic representatives for the state of Ohio, including Ohio House Minority Leader Allison Russo and Senate Minority Leader Nickie Antonio.

Now, in order for Biden to appear on the ballot, the Democrat Party must either reschedule the nominating convention to an earlier date or work through the GOP-led state legislature to obtain an exemption.

The Biden campaign said that it was sure Biden would be on the ballot in Ohio, but did not elaborate on the plan to make that happen.

David Niven, a political science professor at the University of Cincinnati, said that even if Biden does make it onto the ballot, he fully expects presumptive GOP candidate Donald Trump to win the state.

“If this were to actually occur and President Biden were held off the ballot, it would be devastating to the general sort of faith in democracy,” said Niven, who previously contributed to Biden’s 2020 campaign and has made multiple donations to ActBlue in support of Democratic candidates.

“My assumption is that, at least in this moment, democracy will win out,” Niven said. “But because this is Ohio, it won’t be easy.”

Ohio, once considered to be a leading battleground state, leaned conservative in the last several national elections, electing former President Donald Trump in both 2016 and 2020.

Niven said it was likely that even fewer Democrats would vote if Biden were left off of the ballot.

That could potentially seal a defeat for incumbent U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, who is taking on political neophyte Bernie Moreno in the general election.

Moreno defeated several more experienced candidates—including LaRose—after Democrats invested in his primary win, hoping that the Trump endorsee would be an easier matchup than more moderate alternatives.

Already hammered over their hypocrisy for campaigning on the threat right-wing “extremism” poses to democracy while secretly backing the more conservative candidates, such a miscalculation in allowing Moreno to win could lead to a serious party reckoning for Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and others who pushed the risky gambit.

Democrats also have expended any good will they might have had with members of the opposite party after waging a series of spurious lawfare attacks on Trump—including efforts in Colorado and several other states to prevent him from appearing on the ballot by claiming the four-hour Jan. 6, 2021, protest at the U.S. Capitol was an “insurrection.”

Few, if any, Democrat leaders denounced the effort, which ultimately was defeated by a unanimous Supreme Court decision.

Don Lemon Catches Flak for Marrying ‘Biggest Terror Threat’ in U.S.

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Former CNN host Don Lemon posted pictures from his homosexual union this weekend, showing that he married a white man, despite previously calling that particular demographic “the biggest terror threat in the US.”

Lemon made the statement in a 2018 segment in reference to a shooting at Jeffersontown, Kentucky, grocery store.

“We have to stop demonizing people and realize that the biggest terror threat in this country is white men,” he said. “most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.”

The initial statement resulted in a fair amount of backlash, after which Lemon doubled down in another segment later that week.

“I said that the biggest terror threat in this country comes from radicals on the far right, primarily white men,” he said. “That angered some people. But let’s put emotion aside and look at the cold hard facts. The evidence is overwhelming.”

The massive amount of comical cognitive dissonance on Lemon’s part spurred several accusations of hypocrisy and a great deal of confusion.

“Don Lemon just married the greatest terror threat to America according to Don Lemon,” one Twitter user said.

“Good morning, everyone! Louis XIV, the “Sun King” of the 18th-century France, projected an image of devout piety, but behind the scenes, he led a lavish lifestyle filled with extramarital affairs,” said Simon Ateba, chief White House correspondent at Today News Africa, in a post that compared Lemon to the decadent French ruler.

“In 2018, this man claimed that the biggest terror threat in the United States of America was ‘white men,'” Ateba continued. “In 2024, he married a white man, triggering rebuke from many.”

Liberacrat Media responded with a collage of several high-ranking, race baiting politicians and their white spouses, pointing out that Lemon was not the only leftist to follow a different personal standard than that to which they held others.

After getting fired from CNN, Lemon attempted to launch his own show, which also went poorly.

House Intel Chair Throws Ukraine Skeptics Under the Bus, Blames Russian Propaganda

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio, the head of the House Intelligence Committee, accused the majority of Republicans of having been brainwashed by Russian propaganda during an appearance Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union, Real Clear Politics reported.

It wasn’t Turner’s first time exaggerating the importance of America’s support for the country—which some suspect to be a massive money-laundering operation converting tax dollars into private equity or campaign funds for its elite investors.

In February, the hawkish lawmaker sounded the alarm on Russian space nukes ahead of key votes on Ukraine funding and the intel community’s domestic-surveillance powers. Turner offered no details with respect to the alleged new anti-satellite technology.

He also supported the latest massive foreign aid spending package, which redistributed $95 million American tax dollars to Ukraine and Israel, largely.

Earlier this month, Turner visited Kiev, where he claimed that there was “overwhelming” support among Republicans to continue financing the country’s war with Russia.

As of February, however, a poll released by the Associated Press showed that 55% of Republican voters felt there was already too much being spent on the boondoggle, in which Ukraine’s aging army faces a grim number’s game against Russia’s steady supply of fresh troops.

During Turner’s appearance on Sunday CNN host Jake Tapper suggested that skepticism about the war in Ukraine was the result of Russian misinformation by alluding to Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, head of the Foreign Affairs Committee, who recently said that “a good chunk of my party’s base” had been duped by Russian propaganda.

“It’s absolutely true,” Turner replied. “We see directly coming from Russia, attempts to mask communications that are anti-Ukraine and pro-Russia messages, some of which we even hear being uttered on the House floor.”

Turner accused his House GOP colleagues of failing to understand the true objectives of the war, mistakenly believing the conflict had to do with NATO’s incursion into Russia’s sphere of influence, “which of course it is not,” he told Tapper.

The New York Times reported that the CIA maintains at least a dozen secretive bases in Ukraine, with some of those suspected to be connected with bioweapons experimentation.

According to Turner, though, propaganda has hidden the true ideological battle: the authoritarian Russia, led by President Vladimir Putin, versus the democracy of the west, led by American Democrats and some Republicans.

“To the extent that this propaganda takes hold, it makes it more difficult for us to really see this as an authoritarian versus democracy battle,” he added.

Showing little self awareness of the fact that CNN has admitted to spreading propaganda of its own and that reports indicate many mainstream media outlets have been infiltrated as part of the CIA’s Operation Mockingbird, leftists on social media delighted in Turner’s and McCaul’s public spat with fellow Republicans over the controversial spending issue.

The recent spate of retirements and other departures (including the expulsion of former Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y.) have given the House GOP little room for such disagreements public or private.

If even one Republican lawmaker were to defect to the Democrats, it could potentially deliver the majority to Democrats, giving them carte blanche to pass radical laws and use oversight probes to further derail the re-election efforts of former President Donald Trump.

‘Death to America’ Chants Trigger White House Response

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The White House rebuked a disturbing anti-Israeli event held in Dearborn, Michigan, where activists chanted “death to America” and labeled the U.S. as one of “the rottenest countries.”

In a Monday statement to the Daily Caller, the White House reacted negatively to the disturbing rhetoric voiced at a rally celebrating International Al-Quds Day, a holiday aimed at criticizing Israel and Zionism.

“The White House condemns these abhorrent and Antisemitic remarks in the strongest terms,” said White House spokesperson Andrew Bates. “As President Biden has said, America is the greatest nation on Earth and a beacon to the world.”

During the contentious rally, Michigan activist Tarek Bazzi rallied his supporters while voicing disturbing anti-American and anti-Israeli sentiments.

“Gaza has shown the entire world why these protests are so anti-America,” Bazzi claimed, likely referring to blowback against Israeli actions resulting in loss of human life in the Gaza Strip. “Because it’s the United States government that provides the funds for all of the atrocities that we just heard about.”

In response to Bazzi, who spoke in front of a flag bearing the colors of Jordan, one attendee concurrently shouted, “Death to America! Death to America!” according to the Middle East Media Research Institute.

Further expanding on his anti-American speech, Bazzi quoted purported remarks by Malcolm X: “‘We live in one of the rottenest countries that has ever existed on this earth.’” He added, “It’s not ‘Genocide Joe’ that has to go, it’s the entire system that has to go.”

Coinciding with Bazzi’s remarks were chants of “Death to Israel! Death to Israel!” from the attendees.

Later during the rally, Michigan Iman Usama Abdulghani echoed Bazzi’s sentiments, hailing Imam Khomeini, the former and first Iranian supreme leader, for declaring International Al-Quds Day.

“Iman Khomeini recognized that Israel is an evil settler colonialist project,” Abdulghani exclaimed. “He realized it is a cancer and he established this day.”

During his remarks, Bazzi celebrated that Israel — which he deemed a “sacred cow” — is facing criticism for its military operations in the Gaza Strip, where several hostages remained captive following Hamas’s invasion of southern Israel on Oct. 7.

“Nobody could criticize Israel,” he claimed. “Everybody was terrified of being anti-Semitic. Everybody was afraid of them—but now the people with conscience very openly will criticize Israel.”

The protest comes as President Joe Biden grapples with criticism from pro-Palestinian supporters as he campaigns for re-election.

This ire was evident in Michigan, where a significant portion of voters, totaling 101,457 individuals (13.2%) of Democrats voted “undecided.” This challenge could have damning implications for Democrats, as Michigan is considered crucial for a potential Biden re-election.

‘Neo-Nazi’ Who Crashed U-Haul into White House Diagnosed w/ Schizophrenia

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) When a supposed neo-Nazi intentionally crashed a U-Haul truck into a security barrier across from the White House last year, liberal media and pundits were quick to blame “white nationalism”—disregarding the fact that the suspect, Sai Varshith Kandula, was a non-citizen from India.

“It’s not the color of your skin. It’s how you think,” Wendy Via, co-founder and CEO of the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism, reportedly said at the time.

But along with the issues of Kandula’s nationality, recently filed court records further undermine the “white nationalism” narrative by revealing that the defendant was recently diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Kandula, who graduated high school in 2022, was diagnosed with the mental ailment in January, according to court records.

“Dr. Avram Mack has diagnosed Mr. Kandula with schizophrenia. On Monday of this week, Dr. Mack recommended risperidone to treat Mr. Kandula,” stated a Jan. 26 joint status report, adding that Dr. Mack’s diagnosis confirms a diagnosis made earlier that month by Elisa Agee, Ph.D.

The joint status agreement also said a plea agreement has been extended to Kandula, who is represented by public defender public defender Diane Shrewsbury, Rosenblum, Schwartz & Fry partner Nat Scott Rosenblum and Brown Goldstein & Levy partner Kobie Flowers—the latter being a former Justice Department lawyer who has also litigated cases in the military commissions in Guantanamo Bay.

Kandula has another status conference set for May 13.

He faces one charge of “depredation of property of the United States in excess of $1,000.”

He was originally charged with “threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict harm on a president, vice president or family member, as well as assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, trespassing and destruction of federal property”—but those charges were later dropped.

Initial reports indicated that Kandula had planned the attack for over six months, aiming to “get to the White House, seize power, and be put in charge of the nation.” Kandula reportedly exited the U-Haul with a Nazi flag, which led to the media photo ops and the pundits blaming white nationalism.

He also threatened, allegedly, to “kill the President If that’s what I have to do,” praising Nazism for its “great history” and Hitler because he was a “strong leader,” according to the DOJ.

Border Agency Discovers Enough Fentanyl to Kill 75K People Hidden in Hamburgers

(U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at El Paso area ports of entry seized a large amount of drugs being smuggled into the country in novel ways. One female was caught hiding fentanyl inside her body, another in a hamburger.

In the past two weeks, POE agents with CBP El Paso seized more than 62 pounds of methamphetamine, more than 25 pounds of fentanyl, and more than 158 pounds of marijuana.

Two milligrams of fentanyl, the weight of a mosquito, is considered a lethal dose. One pound of fentanyl, or 453,592 milligrams, is enough to kill 226,796 people; 25 pounds is enough to kill 5.6 million people, or roughly two cities the size of Houston, Texas.

According to AddictionResources.net, a lethal dose of methamphetamine is an estimated 200 milligrams. Based on these estimates and the seizure amounts, CBP agents seized enough lethal doses of meth to kill more than 14 million people, or nearly half the state of Texas.

The way the drugs were smuggled in also posed a danger to those smuggling them and to CBP agents potentially exposed to them, officials told the Center Square.

Recent highlighted arrests include alleged drug smugglers strapping packages of drugs to their body, hiding drugs inside their body or inside food.

On March 14, CBP officers working at the Paso Del Norte International Bridge POE apprehended a 34-year-old male U.S citizen attempting to smuggle in roughly one pound of methamphetamine. He had gone to Mexico and upon reentering the U.S., CBP officers discovered he had allegedly strapped packages of meth to his leg.

On March 23, CBP officers working at the same POE intercepted roughly a third of a pound of fentanyl—enough to kill roughly 75,600 people— from a 27-year-old female U.S. citizen who tried to conceal it in her hamburger.

CBP officers found a plastic wrapped bundle inside an uneaten hamburger she said she was bringing back from Mexico.

On March 18, CBP officers working at the Ysleta–Zaragoza International Bridge POE apprehended a 32-year-old female U.S. citizen attempting to smuggle into the country fentanyl inside her purse and inside her body.

CBP officers found a bundle of 0.19 pounds of fentanyl wrapped in black tape inside her purse. As she was being booked into a detention facility, a body X-ray scan revealed she had hidden a bundle of fentanyl inside her vaginal cavity.

On March 21, CBP officers working at the Presidio–Ojinaga International Bridge POE apprehended a 34-year-old male Mexican citizen attempting to smuggle into the country methamphetamine.

He was directed to a secondary inspection “due to travel inconsistencies,” CBP said. Upon further inspection of his vehicle, CBP officers discovered aluminum foiled wrapped packages in the gas tank area and seized more than 61 pounds of methamphetamine.

On March 26, CBP officers working at the Bridge of the Americas POE intercepted more than 25 pounds of fentanyl from two Mexican citizens attempting to enter the country. A 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old female, both Mexican citizens, were pulled over following a non-intrusive search of their vehicle. Officers found “anomalies in the rear doors of the vehicle,” where they found the drugs.

Agents also seized $162,539 of illicit currency and arrested 44 fugitives over the same time-period. The 44 arrests relate to perpetrators allegedly committing embezzlement, child sexual assault, assault with a deadly weapon, larceny, alien smuggling, dangerous drugs, and driving under the influence.

Everyone who was arrested was turned over to federal and state authorities for prosecution.

“These seizures and arrests are a perfect example of the hard work that our CBP officers are doing on a daily basis,” El Paso Director of Field Operations Hector Mancha said. “We all have a professional and personal stake in working hard to keep our communities safe.”

It comes, however, as the Biden administration faces heavy criticism surrounding its open-border policies, which have allowed an estimated 11 million illegals into the country.
