House Committees to Investigate NPR Over ‘Viewpoint Discrimination’

(Bethany Blankley, The Center Square) – U.S. House committees are investigating “ideological bias” of National Public Radio (NPR), a nonprofit news organization established by Congress and partially funded by taxpayers.

NPR has come under fire after its former editor Uri Berliner said it had “lost America’s trust” and criticized NPR’s Chief Executive Officer, Katherine Maher, for her focus on combating “misinformation” and reportedly criticizing the First Amendment.

Maher, who is connected to several global economic organizations, including the World Bank and World Economic Forum, has donated solely to Democratic political candidates, The Center Square first reported.

The House investigation is being spearheaded by House Energy and Commerce Committee chair Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-WA, and Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations Chair Morgan Griffith, R-VA. An oversight hearing is scheduled for Wednesday to examine NPR’s alleged “viewpoint discrimination.”

“NPR is entrusted with Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars. Serious allegations from a then-senior editor who spent decades at NPR reveal NPR engages in viewpoint discrimination and ideological bias that caters to a narrow, leftwing audience,” Rodgers and Griffith said in a joint statement. Citing a list of allegations, they said they “are deeply troubling and merit congressional investigation.”

NPR is funded by taxpayer money and donations from the general public and large philanthropic organizations, including the Rockefeller Foundation. The Rockefeller Foundation has funded advocacy efforts for years related to “green energy,” “global warming” and now “climate change,” most recently dedicating $1 billion “to advance people-centered climate action.” This includes funding several news outlets’ climate desks, including NPR’s, as stated on its funds’ various websites.

The foundation’s efforts were instrumental in pressuring President Joe Biden’s directive to halt new permits for liquified natural gas exports, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The Biden administration did so at a time when US LNG exports, led by Texas, have provided a lifeline to European allies that were previously depended on Russian oil, The Center Square exclusively reported. Natural gas has proven to be one of the cleanest energy sources and most reliable, with 2023 being a record yearfor domestic natural gas consumption, made possible by Texas production, The Center Square reported.

The Rockefeller Foundation was one of NPR’s founding donors helping its “Climate Desk” to launch in 2022 “to do stories that shape the national conversation on climate change,” it said. NPR claims, “climate related weather disasters are upending the way people live from China to California, from Pakistan to Florida. These extreme events have caused a global food crisis, the rise of new diseases and the displacement of millions of people.”

Initial climate reporters were funded by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and the Rockefeller Foundation, NPR said. From Oct. 1, 2022, through June 30, 2024, the Rockefeller Foundation donated $500,000 to NPR for its “climate change news.”

“Charities controlled by members of the Rockefeller family and billionaire donors were key funders of a successful campaign to pressure President Biden to pause new approvals of liquefied natural gas exports from the U.S.”, the Journal reported. The funds it refers to include the Rockefeller Family Fund founded by John D. Rockefeller’s great-grandchildren, and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, founded by his five sons.

John D. Rockefeller founded Standard Oil in 1870, building his wealth in kerosene and gasoline to become the first billionaire in America and the wealthiest person in the country. By 1880, Standard Oil controlled 90% of the oil produced in the U.S., CNN Business reported. “Rockefeller’s estimated $1.4 billion net worth in 1937 was equivalent to 1.5% of U.S. GDP. According to this metric he was (and still is) the richest individual in American business and economic history,” according to Harvard Business School.

In 2018, the RFF created the Funder Collaborative on Oil and Gas, explaining its efforts to prioritize opposing coal and help “groups that are fighting the development of oil, gas, plastics, and petrochemicals infrastructure.”

Its goal is to curtail U.S. oil and gas production and prevent development “of massive new domestic infrastructure” as “an urgent and necessary part of solving the climate crisis.” It stated core purpose “is to limit ongoing oil and gas production; prevent the lock-in of GHG-emissions for new and expanded oil, gas, and petrochemical infrastructure; and weaken the industry’s financial standing and political influence.”

The RFF, through the FCOG, finances numerous groups “to enact aggressive policies at the state and national levels to reduce carbon emissions; disrupt the life cycle of fossil fuels from drilling and mining to transportation and exporting,” among other actions.

Dozens of NPR articles share a common theme in highlighting natural gas plant pollution, its harm to the environment and its effect on climate change. Regularly cited sources also appear to work for advocacy groups funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, including the Environmental Integrity Project. Many articles claim industrial air pollution from oil and natural gas companies is already, or will in the future, primarily negatively impact low-income, black neighborhoods.

The Gulf Coast environment primarily in the oil and gas producing states of Texas and Louisiana would suffer, especially if more LNG export facilities are built, NPR-affiliated authors wrote. In one report, it warns, “Soon more natural vistas here could be lost,” referring to Cameron Parish, Louisiana, a major oil and natural gas hub. It also solely interviewed opponents of LNG plants in the parish, reporting that after the U.S. became the top LNG exporter, “as the industry has grown, so has opposition.”

In other articles, NPR posits that tax credits helped fund union workers’ six-figure salaries and water pollution allegedly created by oil and gas companies created racial inequities.

NPR also claims Biden’s LNG permit ban “doesn’t affect more than a dozen plants that are already operating, or that are under construction or have received permits. Nor will it halt the export of gas.”

It also reported LNG exports “drove up utility bills for citizens,” a claim refuted by federal data, The Center Square first reported.

NPR also claimed, “oil field flaring emits five times more methane than expected,” when data from the World Bank, EIA, EPA and other agencies found that natural gas companies in the Permian Basin produce some of the cleanest natural gas in the world, The Center Square first reported. As natural gas production and LNG exports exponentially increased, Texas producers also led the United States in emissions reductions, the data shows.

Judge Orders Pharmaceutical Company to Pay $1.5 Billion in Opioid Case

(Brett Rowland, The Center Square) – A judge on Friday ordered a pharmaceutical company to pay $1.086 billion in criminal fines and $450 million in criminal forfeiture for misleading doctors about the safety of an opioid medication.

It was the the second-largest set of criminal financial penalties ever levied against a pharmaceutical company for violations of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Endo Health Solutions Inc., which previously filed for bankruptcy, was hit with penalties related to the distribution of the opioid medication Opana ER with INTAC.

When the company pleaded guilty last month, it “admitted that certain sales managers were aware that the sales representatives were making claims of purported abuse deterrence, tamper resistance and/or crush resistance when marketing Opana ER to prescribers, and that certain sales representatives were striking non-medicated sample pills with hammers and conducting other demonstrations to convey the message that Opana ER was, in fact, crush proof and tamper resistant,” according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

“The opioid crisis we continue to face today originated, in part, from companies like EHSI building their business on false claims and deceptive business practices,” DEA Administrator Anne Milgram said in a statement. “By intentionally misrepresenting opioid medications, EHSI prioritized profits over the health and well-being of the American people.”

Endo Health Solutions Inc. corporate affiliates emerged from bankruptcy last month. The company will cease to operate in its exisitng form and will not emerge from bankruptcy.

“In addition, as part of the confirmed bankruptcy plan, the new company has funded voluntary trusts in settlement of opioid-relating claims, including public trusts that will pay over $450 million to state, municipal and Tribal entities to help fund programs to abate the opioid crisis,” according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice.

“The department is crediting up to $450 million of such payments against the agreed forfeiture amount. The EHSI affiliates that have emerged from bankruptcy are subject to an injunction restraining future opioid sales and marketing and requiring the publication of millions of documents relating to its role in the opioid crisis.”

U.S. Agriculture Dept., Leftist Groups Harvest Votes for Biden

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A White House official told the Agriculture Department to include leftist groups among “stakeholders” to help implement Joe Biden’s executive order that would help him get more votes in the upcoming 2024 election.

The United Food and Commercial Workers Union and the League of United Latin American Citizens were among the groups involved in this vote harvesting, the Daily Signal reported.

USDA also had extensive discussions with the Raben Group, a Democrat-aligned lobbying group managed by former officials of the Clinton and Obama administrations, the records indicated.

The Raben Group represented the left-wing advocacy group Demos, which has pushed “climate change” and socialist propaganda such as the Green New Deal and labor unions’ policy goals.

It was also previously revealed that Demos worked with the USDA on “best practices” to boost voting.

The United Food and Commercial Workers, the League of United Latin American Citizens and the Raben Group were not on a previously reported list of more than four dozen far-left organizations that participated in a “listening session” with White House officials on July 12, 2021, under six months after Biden got into the White House, the news source reported.

In March 2021, Biden signed the executive order, in which he directed federal agencies to partner with private organizations to increase voter registration and participation in elections.

Around that time, Freedom of Information Act requests revealed records from multiple agencies showing that the Biden administration’s bureaucracy had enlisted an army of far-left nonprofits to mobilize voters to vote for Biden.

Demos long has been associated with the progressive wing of the Democratic Party.

“Demos and its organizational partners have identified the below-stated agency systems and programs as areas of great opportunity for the implementation of this vital executive order,” Raben Group associate Dylan Tureff told USDA’s Goldman in his July 2021 message.

Tureff also wrote on behalf of Demos by saying that get-out-the-vote efforts for USDA offices could include online portals, “direct interaction programs,” grant programs “for both state and private actors” grants for governments and authorities and programs focused on tribal services and support.

Trump Campaign, Republicans Sue Nevada Over Mail Ballot Deadline

(Derek Drapin, The Center Square) – A lawsuit brought by Republicans alleges that Nevada’s mail ballot deadline violates federal law.

Nevada allows for mail-in ballots to be counted up to four days after Election Day as long as a ballot is postmarked on or before Election Day.

The lawsuit, filed on Friday by the Republican National Committee, the Nevada Republican Party, and the Trump campaign against Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar and county officials, says the state law violates federal law and presumes “that ballots received up to three days after Election Day ‘have been postmarked on or before the day of the election.’”

“The result of Nevada’s violation of federal law is that timely, valid ballots are diluted by untimely, invalid ballots, which violates the rights of candidates, campaigns, and voters under federal law,” the lawsuit says.

According to RNC Chairman Michael Whatley, counting ballots after Election Day “violates federal law and undermines election integrity in the state.”

“Ballots received days after Election Day should not be counted – the RNC and our partners are suing to secure an honest election, support Nevada voters, and oppose unlawful schemes,” he said in a statement.

Aguilar declined to comment on the lawsuit but defended Nevada’s elections in a statement to The Center Square.

“Nevada runs some of the most secure, transparent, and accessible elections in the country,” he said. “The key for that accessibility is allowing working Nevadans to vote using the method that works best for them, including voting by mail.”

“Our office will not comment on ongoing litigation, but I hope the RNC is putting as much time and energy into educating voters on how to participate in elections as they put into suing the state of Nevada,” he added.

MURDOCK: Americans Should Take a Hard Pass on Biden’s Plan to Import Hamas

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) In his flattest brainwave yet, President Joe Biden hopes to import refugees from the Gaza Strip. This rotten idea should be blasted with a drone.

After reviewing internal federal documents, CBS News’s Camilo Montoya–Galvez reported Tuesday that Biden wants “refugee status” for certain Gazans.

This designation “offers beneficiaries permanent residency, resettlement benefits like housing assistance, and a path to American citizenship.”

What could go wrong?

Plenty.

Biden’s proposed immigrants could be Hamas terrorists. Chances are, they at least would be Hamas supporters.

The Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research’s April 15 poll of 750 Gazans found that 71% call “correct” Hamas’ “offensive against Israel on 7 October.”

Meanwhile, 93% of Gazans “think Hamas did not commit war crimes during the current war.”

America should spurn a population in which 71% applaud the unprovoked massacre of 1,200 innocent Israelis whom Hamas raped, murdered, mutilated, and incinerated. Dead babies occupied ovens. Jews in ovens: Sound familiar?

Hamas assassins gunned down motorists who drove through southern Israel. They fatally shot families as they slept. Hamas cutthroats paraglided into the Nova Festival and slaughtered 370 ravers who danced until dawn. For God’s sake, who kills music fans?

As a rescuer who encountered Nova’s dead recalled in a temporary Manhattan-based exhibition about this atrocity: “In some cases, they [Hamas] set them on fire and burned them in such a way that when we examined them, we suddenly realized what had appeared to us as one person was actually three.”

Oct. 7 was the worst single-day orgy of Jew killing since Auschwitz. And 71% of Gazans approve.

This is Biden’s next reservoir of immigrants? Is there a bottom to this buffoon’s idiocy?

With a real per-capita GDP of $5,700 in 2022, per the CIA World Fact Book, Gaza is slightly poorer than Nicaragua. Thanks to Hamas’s monomaniacal focus on butchering Jews rather than boosting prosperity, few Gazans offer skills that America needs.

Typical Gazans neither understand nor appreciate constitutional republicanism, the rule of law, individual liberty, or any of America’s other founding and guiding principles. Freedom House observes: “No open elections for any office have been held in Gaza since 2006.”

Gaza’s schools teach anti-Jewish hate. Textbooks deny the 3,500-year presence of Jews in Israel and even erase the Hebrew names of its cities, e.g. rechristening Tel Aviv as “Tel al-Rabia.”

“Children are taught that waging jihad is a religious duty,” the Middle East Media Research Institute reports. “The messages imparted to children are replete with anti-Semitic motifs that demonize the Jews, presenting them as the eternal enemies of the Muslims, as subhuman ‘descendants of apes and pigs,’ and as bloodthirsty savages with whom no dialogue or reconciliation is possible.”

As anti-Semitism explodes from coast to coast, America should reject people who have simmered in anti-Jewish venom since Kindergarten.

If Gazans seek safety—perhaps while the Israel Defense Forces enter Rafah and exterminate every last Hamas rat—then why not move to Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, or (what a concept!) the West Bank? Why bypass those Arab destinations and, instead, jet 12 hours to America?

So far, Biden has let 9.4 million illegal aliens break into America. These invaders are wrecking U.S. cities and states. They are swelling government budgets, exhausting municipal services, clogging public schools, and hiking crime rates. To this, the execrable Joe Biden chants, “More! More! More!”

Biden does all of this to impress Muslim voters in Dearborn and secure Michigan’s 15 electoral votes. Period.

If maintaining power and control requires that Biden wave poor, unskilled, anti-democratic anti-Semites into America, so be it.

Political calculations get no more mercenary.

If Biden possessed even a drop of shame, he would ditch this rotten idea and dedicate his fading faculties to securing Edan Alexander, Itay Chen, Sagui Dekel-Chen, Hersh Goldberg–Polin, Omer Nuetra, and Keith Siegel. These forgotten U.S. hostages—still kidnapped by Hamas—are the only people in Gaza whom America should welcome.

WH Ridiculed for False Claim: Trump Tax Cuts Expiring Without Tax Hike

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The Biden White House sought to save face when confronted with questions regarding the impending expiration of the tax cuts implemented during the Trump administration—it did not go well.

During a press briefing on Friday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked whether President Joe Biden is willing to increase taxes for nearly all Americans amid the impending expiration of the 2017 tax cuts signed by then-President Donald Trump, set to lapse in 2025.

Specifically, Fox Business reporter Edward Lawrence asked, “The president says he wants to let the Trump tax cuts expire. If that law expires, it does raise taxes on almost every American. Does he still support that expiring without anything else in place?”

Jean-Pierre immediately contradicted herself, asserting that Biden would allow the tax cuts to expire but would not raise taxes on individuals earning less than $400,000 a year.

“It’s going to expire for the wealthy,” she claimed. “This is a president that’s going to make sure we protect and not raise taxes for people who are making $400,000 or less, a year. And Republicans want to do.”

However, Jean-Pierre’s assertions are demonstrably inaccurate and grossly misleading, prompting the reporter to challenge her.

“The president can’t pick and choose which parts of the law sunsets,” Lawrence replied. “The entire law will sunset, and the Tax Foundation says that someone who’s married, two kids, making $85,000 would pay $1,700 more in taxes. That’s somebody under $400,000.”

In response, Jean-Pierre reiterated her misleading claim that Biden would shield Americans making less than $400,000.

The House Ways and Means Committee concluded that if the tax breaks are not re-authorized, an average family of four making roughly $75,000 annually will face a $1,500 tax burden.

“Workers, families, farmers, and small businesses are facing the single largest tax hike in history at the end of next year,” wrote House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo., in a press statement.

Recalling the stories of Americans concerned about the looming tax increase, Smith added, “At hearings we’ve held across the country, the Ways and Means Committee has heard directly from workers, families, farmers, and small businesses who emphasized the urgent need for tax relief.”

Robert De Niro’s Laughable Claim: Trump Is Hitler—Pinky Promise This Time

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Robert De Niro, the insufferable actor-turned-leftist activist, has once again resorted to extreme rhetoric in his tirades against former President Donald Trump, this time comparing him to Adolf Hitler, the man responsible for the genocide of millions of Jews.

De Niro has previously hurled insults towards the former president. In response, Trump has rightfully called out De Niro’s claims, labeling him a “‘mental midget’” who suffers from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

However, De Niro’s latest comparison of a duly elected president to one of history’s most reviled dictators indicates yet another low in his anti-Trump temper tantrums.

During a Friday interview with MSNBC’s The 11th Hour, hosted by leftist anchor Stephanie Ruhle, De Niro went on an unhinged rant against Trump, who is seeking to return to the White House after the 2024 election.

“I don’t think they understand how dangerous it will be if he ever, God forbid, becomes president,” De Niro said of Trump.

De Niro invoked Hitler’s rise to power in 1933, claiming, “Historically, from what I see, in Nazi Germany they had it with Hitler. They don’t take him seriously. Looks like a clown. Acts like a clown.”

De Niro didn’t stop there, dragging Benito Mussolini, the former Italian prime minister and leader of the National Fascist Party, into his anti-Trump comparisons.

“These guys, I don’t know why, they look like clowns,” De Niro added. “Somehow people, that element of society, identifies with them.”

Expanding his alarmist interpretation of a potential Trump second term, De Niro claimed, “It would be chaos beyond our imagination. There’s no mystery about him. He’s right out front, and what he says is what it’ll be if he becomes president.”

Trump has yet to respond to De Niro’s cynical claims. However, in the past, the former president has waited no time to fire back at the unhinged actor.

“Robert De Niro is a ‘mental midget’ whose mind is shot, and whose life is a total train wreck,” Trump pointed out in a Truth Social post on Dec. 4, 2023.

“Very much like Crooked Joe Biden, he can’t put two sentences together. The good news is that this crude and very stupid ‘animal’ has lost all credibility!” Trump added.

In a scathing rebuke, Trump highlighted De Niro’s decline, saying, “He has become unwatchable both in movies, and with the FOOLS that destroyed the Academy Awards, bringing them from one of the top shows in the Country to a Low Rated afterthought.”

Trump continued, “De Niro should focus on his life, which is a mess, rather than the lives of others. He has become a total loser, as the World watches, waits, and laughs!”

Menendez Blames Commie Castro Regime for Gold-Hoarding Compulsion

(Headline USA) The legal team representing Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J. argued in a filing revealed this week that the Democrat hoarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and gold bars because of “generational trauma,” The Hill reported.

Menendez is facing several federal charges for bribery and acting as a foreign agent.

The Justice Department alleged Menendez sold his influence and received cash, gold and gifts in return. The cash and gold were found in Menendez’s home during a FBI raid last year.

His attorneys claimed in a recent filing that Menendez kept the 13 gold bars and $480,000 in cash in his home because of the psychological trauma tied to his upbringing in Cuba.

“Senator Menendez suffered intergenerational trauma stemming from his family’s experience as refugees, who had their funds confiscated by the Cuban government and were left with only a small amount of cash that they had stashed away in their home,” the filing said.

Menendez also “experienced trauma when his father, a compulsive gambler, died by suicide after Senator Menendez eventually decided to discontinue paying off his father’s gambling debts,” the filing continued.

The senator’s hoarding of cash and gold at home was a “coping mechanism” for this trauma, it claimed.

His lawyers went on to request that a psychologist be called into the trial to question Menendez on the trauma.

Menendez made a similar claim last year shortly after the DOJ filed its charges against him, arguing that hoarding cash and gold was a normal habit among immigrant families.

“For 30 years, I have withdrawn thousands of dollars in cash from my personal savings account, which I have kept for emergencies and because of the history of my family facing confiscation in Cuba,” he said at the time. “Now, this may seem old-fashioned, but these were monies drawn from my personal savings account based on the income that I have lawfully derived over those 30 years.”

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis borrowed from this same argument when called to explain in the witness stand why she, too, kept large amounts of cash on hand—with no discernible record of where it came from—in order to reimburse her lover and coworker, Nathan Wade, for their joint travel expenses.

Willis’s father, John Floyd, a former member of the Black Panthers, also took the stand to attest to having brought her up this way.

“Your Honor, I’m not trying to be racist,” Floyd said. “It’s a black thing. I was trained and most black people hide cash.”

Many suspected that Willis’s purported use of cash was part of a deliberate effort to defraud Fulton County taxpayers as she and Wade were possibly writing off the trips or billing them as travel expenses.

DeSantis Bans Lab-Grown Meat to Fight Globalist WEF

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Gov. Ron DeSantis, R–Fla., signed a bill into law on May 1, 2024, that bans the sale of lab-grown meat in the state as part of his administration’s commitment to having a “vibrant agriculture industry.”

The bill is a pushback against the globalists at the World Economic Forum trying to abolish meat and force people to eat bugs, the Daily Wire reported.

DeSantis said at a press conference that this bill was different than legislation he has signed in the past to protect the industry. He then added that his new bill is focused on protecting the industry from “acts of man” that are rooted in an “ideological agenda” that wants to blame ranchers for “climate change.”

“These will be people who will lecture the rest of us about things like global warming, they will say that you can’t drive an internal combustion engine vehicle, they’ll say that agriculture is bad. Meanwhile, they’re flying to Davos on their private jets. This is really a vision of imposing restrictions on freedoms for everyday people while these elites are effectively pulling the strings, calling the shots and doing whatever the hell they want to do in their own lives,” he said.

DeSantis then said that the policies and vision that the WEF has for the world are “dead on arrival in the state of Florida,” while adding that the extreme agenda of the WEF, which includes having people eat bugs, has not taken root in the Sunshine State and that it’s also struggled to gain traction in many other states as well.

“They want to basically eliminate meat, they want to eliminate cattle, they want to eliminate chickens, and they want to create protein in laboratories. So it’s fake, essentially, lab-created meat, and their goal is to get to a point where you will not be raising cattle, where you will not be developing meat like we’ve been doing for hundreds and hundreds of years in the State of Florida,” he said.

Hope Hicks Faces Vitriolic Attacks After Emotional Pro-Trump Testimony

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Former White House aide Hope Hicks faced a barrage of attacks from unhinged, leftist individuals following her Friday testimony in the infamous Manhattan trial of former President Donald Trump.

Hicks’s heartfelt defense of Trump coincided with a wave of vitriolic attacks on Twitter, where some users, including many with large followings, launched sexist comments and slurs against her, launched sexist comments and slurs against her.

Tim O’Donnell, a self-proclaimed “former newspaper radio TV news guy,” expressed his disdain against Hicks, claiming: “She stood beside asshole as he said the most rapey racist criminal shit & never said dick. F**k Hope Hicks.”

O’Donnell, known for his photos with Hollywood celebrities such as Matthew Perry, David Hasselhoff and Jean Smart, garnered over 134,000 views and more than 4,000 reactions to his post.

In another tweet, O’Donnell incited further reactions, stating, “This made the MAGA trolls INSANE. Keep reposting.”

Film director Morgan J. Freeman falsely accused Trump of attempting to have an affair with Hicks, disturbingly jesting: “Trump tried to sleep with Hope Hicks many times years ago. As it turns out, she fucked him in court today.”

Another Twitter user, StricklyChristo, suggested that Hicks may have been “brainwashed” by the “MAGA-cult” due to her emotional pro-Trump testimony.

“Hope Hicks crying on the witness stand as she corrects herself for calling the defendant Mr. Trump instead of President Trump is peak brainwashed MAGA-cult bullshit,” the user posted to his over 62,000 followers, receiving nearly 50,000 views and over 1,500 likes.

Paul Rudnick, a novelist with over 83,000 followers, also joined the criticism, seeming to mock Hicks’s testimony by summoning a quote from a fictional character.

“After Hope Hicks sobbed on the stand about how much Trump loves Melania, Alexis Carrington commented, ‘C+ for fake tears, D- for convenient memory lapses, A+ for great hair,’” he posted, garnering over 23,000 views.

In a separate post, Rudnick criticized Hicks’s makeup, falsely claiming, “Ivanka is reportedly furious that Hope Hicks copied her ‘smokey perjury eyes’, ‘brave full lips’ and ‘under duress brows’ for her testimony today.”

Podcast host Derek Knight, with over 233,000 followers, added his derision, claiming that Hicks’s emotional testimony prompted his laughter.

“Nothing is funnier than Hope Hicks taking the stand and then immediately crying because she accidently [sic] told the truth and is about to send Trump to jail,” he said. His post insinuated false claims that Hicks may have assisted the prosecution. She did not.

Hicks is among the numerous witnesses in the Trump trial led by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a far-left Democrat who campaigned on the promise to indict the former president if elected.

Bragg dubiously accuses Trump of falsifying business records related to alleged payments to disgraced former attorney Michael Cohen, who purportedly then paid former porn star Stormy Daniels.

Trump vehemently denied all allegations.

During her testimony, Hicks scolded Cohen, saying, “He liked to call himself a fixer, or Mr. Fix It. It’s only because he first broke it so he could fix it.”

Other attacks against Hicks included:
