The White House Covert Plot to Keep Biden Under Wraps Exposed

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A new report by the Wall Street Journal reveals how the White House shielded President Joe Biden from Democratic scrutiny, keeping him hidden from the public and protected by legacy media.

The report, extending over 5,000 words, found that undemocratic efforts to protect the 81-year-old president included blocking lawmakers and senior cabinet officials from directly contacting the president.

Other methods included ignoring Biden’s noticeable slips and manipulating the Democratic primaries to secure his nomination despite obvious health concerns, the Journal reported.

Democrats conveniently remained unaware of Biden’s decline, as they were secluded from meeting with him in the past three years since Congress certified the election for Biden.

“While it’s not unusual for cabinet members to want more access to the president than they get, some officials described Biden as unusually removed from the rest of his administration—or, as one former administration official put it, not engaged in the ‘hands-on business of governing,’” the outlet added.

Regarding potential primary challenges, Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., said Democratic operatives threatened to blackball anyone who worked against Biden in the race.

The Democratic National Committee also played a major role, changing the primary to begin in South Carolina, a Biden stronghold.

Florida and Wisconsin Democrats worked to submit only Biden’s name to election officials. The Wisconsin Supreme Court intervened, halting the plan.

Republican and conservative media outlets have raised concerns for years about Biden’s ability to govern, arguing he seemed unfit for office, let alone running for four more years.

The legacy media was uninterested; instead, it pushed back any outlet that dared to report the obvious.

After years of keeping such information from the public, Biden’s decline became evident during a debate with President Donald Trump, where he appeared incoherent and confused, bafflingly mixing topics like abortion and illegal immigration.

“I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said either,” Trump said after taking notice of Biden’s rumblings, igniting the destruction of the Biden legacy.

Meet Kamala’s Latest ‘Joe’ Problem: Joe Manchin

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Sen. Joe Manchin, I-W.Va., unburdened by what had been President Joe Biden’s canceled re-election bid, could soon enter the race for the Democratic nomination for president.

Manchin adviser Jonathan Kott confirmed the rumors in Sunday remarks to several outlets.

Manchin could pose a significant threat to Kamala Harris, the unpopular vice president now seeking the nomination following Biden’s humiliating ouster by his party.

Before entering the race, Manchin would need to re-register as a Democrat after registering as an independent in May 2024.

The party switch came after he announced his intent not to run for re-election, with polls suggesting that the seat is leaning back to the Republican Party.

He has criticized the Democratic Party for its radicalism and has been rumored as a potential presidential candidate but previously shied away from running over concerns he could be a “spoiler” for Democrats.

“I just don’t think it’s the right time. Democracy is at stake right now,” Manchin said at the time.

On Sunday, Manchin joined other Democrats in calling on Biden to step down from the ticket due to the president’s cognitive decline and inability to defeat Trump.

“I came to the decision with a heavy heart that I think it’s time to pass the torch to a new generation,” Manchin told CNN’s Jake Tapper on State of the Union.

Manchin would be the second individual to challenge Harris, with Marianne Williamson already announcing her plan to seek the Democratic nomination.

“I look forward to taking my message to the American people, and convincing Democratic delegates, that I am the best candidate to take us to victory in November,” Williamson tweeted.

Heritage Preps Lawsuits to Block Illegal Biden-Kamala Ballot Swap: ‘Stay Tuned’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A conservative group is preparing to file lawsuits to keep embattled President Joe Biden on key states’ ballots after he stepped down from the 2024 race.

On Sunday afternoon, Biden shocked the political world by caving to what has been described as a “coup d’état” within his party to force him out of the race.

However, Biden’s announcement raises legal questions about his ability to not appear on the ballots, as several states’ deadlines to change ballots have already passed.

On Sunday, the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project stated it has been “preparing for this moment for months” and claimed that legacy media has tried (unsuccessfully) to discredit them.

The project is hinting at a complex process of substituting Biden with Harris, his presumed successor, on the ballots. “No more ‘make it up as you go’ elections,” the project wrote on Twitter. “Stay tuned…”

As first reported by the Daily Mail, Heritage released a memo focusing on three swing states—Georgia, Nevada and Wisconsin—all of which have laws limiting political parties’ ability to switch candidates weeks before the election.

For instance, Nevada prohibits ballot changes before 5 p.m. on the fourth Friday in June of an election year unless a nominee dies or is “adjudicated insane or mentally incompetent.”

Wisconsin does not allow withdrawals for any reasons other than death.

In the memo, Heritage wrote, “Policymakers and the public should be prepared for all externalities that arise from President Biden not running for President in 2024. The process for substitution and withdrawal presents many election integrity issues.”

It concluded, “Adherence to the law in some states may result in that process being unsuccessful for the purposes of another candidate being on the ballot.”

BREAKING: Sen. Ron Johnson Releases Preliminary Investigation on Trump Shooting

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., released a preliminary report on Sunday about the assassination attempt on presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, revealing more bizarre details about last Saturday’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Johnson, who previewed his report Sunday morning on Fox News, stressed that his investigation is just beginning. He said the purpose of his early report is to increase transparency on the shooting, as well as to encourage whistleblowers to come forward with more information.

Johnson’s report revealed several new pieces of information, including that Secret Service was absent from a security meeting conducted in the early hours of July 13. The report also revealed that Secret Service initially wasn’t going to send any snipers to the Trump rally.

“Local law enforcement informed Senator Johnson’s office that days before the rally, they learned from Butler County law enforcement that Secret Service was not going to send their own snipers to the rally and that local law enforcement would need to go ‘sniper heavy’ in order to ensure proper coverage,” Johnson said.

“Local law enforcement learned at least a day before the rally that Secret Service changed course and decided to send two sniper teams. If Secret Service had originally not intended to send snipers to the rally, it is unclear why and when Secret Service changed their plan.”

Another yet-to-be explained fact from the report pertains to the aftermath of the shooting: According to Johnson, an unidentified individual wearing a suit—whom local law enforcement assumed to be a Secret Service agent—requested photos of the alleged shooter’s dead body be sent to a phone number with a 215 (Philadelphia) area code.

The recipient of those photos was apparently an ATF agent, who was supposedly going to conduct a facial-recognition search on the alleged shooter, Thomas Crooks. Johnson’s report said his staff tried talking to that ATF agent, but they were stonewalled.

“It is unclear when Secret Service arrived on the roof following the shooting, how Secret Service (and others) accessed the roof of the building, why ATF would be the agency responsible for conducting facial recognition in an attempt to identify Crooks, and whether ATF ultimately did conduct any facial recognition on the photos provided to their agent,” Johnson said in his report.

Johnson said federal law enforcement hasn’t provided any records about the Trump assassination attempt. Officials aren’t even promising to maintain their records for Congress, he said.

“To date, the Department of Justice (DOJ), DHS, and FBI have failed to provide any of the requested information and have not even confirmed that they will preserve the relevant records,” he said.

“The lack of transparency from federal entities regarding the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt—which left former President Trump wounded, one rally goer dead, and two other spectators critically injured—is unacceptable.”

Outgoing, disgraced Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle is still expected to testify about the event Monday before the House Oversight Committee, though it’s not clear whether she’ll appear given her recent resignation announcement.

MURDOCK: The Left’s Unhinged Hitler Rhetoric Exposes the True Nazis

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) A week ago, America came within a quarter inch of a national funeral.

If assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks’s bullet had not grazed President Donald J. Trump’s right ear but, instead, struck a pencil’s width nearer his skull, last week’s Republican National Convention would be a four-day, if that. Rather than delivering his acceptance speech, Trump would have been lying in state.

But with all the luck in the world, he survived. America’s toughest man, Donald J. Tungsten, stood up moments after being hit, pumped his fists defiantly, and reassured his nation that he was alive and as resilient as ever. As he now says, he is “grazed but not dazed.”

Dramatic as it was, this is a scene worth not repeating.

At this writing, it is unclear exactly why Crooks fired a rifle at Trump, killed Corey Comperatore, 57; and wounded David Dutch, 57, and James Copenhaver, 74.

Crooks was a registered Republican and a Democrat donor. Time will reveal if Crooks is indeed a first: a bipartisan assassin that neither side can weaponize against the other.

However this mystery unravels, it surely did not help matters, that Crooks—like every other American—heard the Democrat Left chant relentlessly that Donald J. Trump equals Adolf Hitler.

  • The Holocaust comparisons began, even before Trump was sworn in. On Jan. 5, 2017, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow told Bravo’s Andy Cohen that if she interviewed Trump, she would ask him: “Are you going to send me or anybody that I know to a camp?”
  • Trump was president for mere minutes when MSNBC’s Chris Matthews denounced his inaugural address in the most divisive terms possible. According to Matthews, Trump’s patriotic “America First” message had an “Hitlerian background to it.”
  • Just a month into Trump’s presidency—before he could build a death camp, even if he wanted—Sunsara Taylor of Refuse Fascism suggested that Trump already had exceeded the evils of the Nazi tyrant. Taylor told Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson that Trump “could arguably be worse than Hitler.” She added: “He is more dangerous than Hitler ever could have been.”
  • “I don’t understand why people are not taking him seriously,” Left-wing actor Robert de Niro said about Trump on ABC News’s The View. Historically, De Niro said last May 14, citizens of foreign nations did not take other leaders seriously. “I think Hitler and Mussolini,” De Niro specified.

  • June 2024’s cover of The New Republic featured an actual Nazi campaign poster with Hitler’s face doctored to resemble Trump. Just below, in a National Socialist typeface loomed the words “American Fascism.”
Trump - New Republic June 2024 cover - Trump as Hitler - June 2024
Trump – New Republic June 2024 cover – Trump as Hitler – June 2024

This is sick, twisted, absurd, baseless, and potentially bloody.

Anyone who has imagined piloting a time machine back to the 1920s or ’30s knows what to do if Hitler pops up:

Kill Hitler!

So, if Trump = Hitler, it’s no shock that someone would decide that “It’s time to put Trump in a bullseye,” as President Joe Biden told donors last week. He now calls that remark “a mistake.”

Oops.

If re-elected, Trump will cut taxes more than Democrats like. He will increase domestic energy more than the Left wants. He will stitch shut the southern frontier that they have ripped open. And he will kill race- and gender-obsession programs that Democrats caress like adult toys.

Here are a few things that Trump will not do: Throw journalists behind barbed wire. Toss Democrats into gas chambers. Cremate teachers’ union leaders. Invade Canada and Mexico to build a greater American Reich.

Will Donald J. Trump serve as a bold, conservative, patriotic Republican President? Yes.

Will he rule as a Nazi dictator? No.

The Left needs to abandon its venomous Führer fetish or at least fiddle with it beneath the covers at night. It has no place in the public arena. Before anyone else gets shot, for God’s sake, Democrats, give it a rest!

Biden Campaign Said the Quiet Part Out Loud Just Before Getting Forced Out

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) Prior to announcing his exit from the 2024 election on Sunday, President Joe Biden’s campaign had pushed back on the mounting pressure by saying what it really thought about the situation.

“If the Democratic elites push Biden out and disenfranchise 14 million voters like me, the Democratic legislators are no better than Republicans,” said a top Biden surrogate said, according to NBC News, criticizing the party’s failure to respect the priorities and wishes of the black community. “Democrats lose the so-called save democracy argument, and it will appear racist.”

Republicans at their recent convention in Milwaukee focused on a party that was ready to reach out to voters of every race, creed and background, provided they shared the same set of conservative, America First priorities.

“To black Americans: the media has tried to convince you for decades that Republicans don’t care about your communities,” noted former GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy in a speech that directly spoke to many core Democrat constituencies.

“We want for you what we want for every American: safe neighborhoods, clean streets, good jobs, a better life for your children, and a justice system that treats everyone equally – regardless of your skin color or your political beliefs,” he added.

Democrats now appear to be banking on the fact that Vice President Kamala Harris can salvage the failing Biden campaign by running on her platform of being the first woman and second nonwhite president.

However, many remain reluctant to get behind her—including the country’s first half-black president, Barack Obama.

They face a major dilemma, however, if they were to run anyone but a black woman president, despite the fact that Harris remains deeply unpopular and faces steep odds in the race against former President Donald Trump.

Moreover, selecting another candidate would create a predicament for the delegates pledged to Biden, who would be put in the position of betraying the will of voters during the party’s late August convention.

The Democrat National Committee’s brinksmanship in gaslighting the nation over the president’s diminished capacity and pushing the candidate selection beyond the primary—seemingly to remove the possibility that voters might choose the wrong option—has created several other problems, both logistical and political, in addition to the precarious situation it could put itself in with minorities and other voters who feel betrayed by the duplicitous tactics.

As George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley noted, the situation in having Biden continue to serve out his presidency while dropping out of the race created something of a catch-22 in trying to explain their rationale.

On one hand, if the argument was that Biden had suddenly become too unwell and unfit for office (although many argue he has always been just as bad), the idea that he intended to remain in office for another six months seemed a hard sell.

If the argument was that he was sacrificing himself under duress because he incapable of winning the election, it raises questions as to why Democrats did not raise those questions earlier by stepping up to challenge him during the primary.

The reality that Democrats remain incapable of acknowledging is that the political imperative has little at all to do with Biden.

Rather, it has to do with the fact that their corrupt lawfare campaign to disqualify Trump backfired, making him stronger than ever.

After a few fleeting weeks of Democratic truth-telling, Americans can now expect more of the same shameless lies that got them into this political mess in the first place, with party elites and media allies trying their hardest to sell Harris as a viable candidate.

If she fails, then it will be fascinating to see if they implement plan C—the only other remaining black-woman candidate with sufficient political influence, campaign infrastructure, fundraising capabilities and name recognition who could potentially peel off some of Trump’s expanding voter base.

They are now fighting the calendar if they hope to ensure their candidate is listed on the ballot in several states—although, whether through hubris or stupidity, it seems setting their convention late in the year was another calculated decision made in their effort to game the process and secure an electoral advantage that now may backfire on them.

Despite issuing a letter from his personal account, many have noted the fact that Biden himself has yet to make any sort of a personal announcement on camera, fueling widespread suspicions as to whether he is even aware of the announcement made on his behalf.

‘Willie Brown’ Trends on Google After Harris Emerges as Potential DNC Nominee

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Searches for “Willie Brown” surged on Google following Kamala Harris’s emergence as the presumptive front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, Headline USA has learned.

Brown is widely recognized as a key figure in Harris’s political rise, having appointed her to two California commissions in the early 1990s.

The two had an extramarital relationship while Brown was married to Blanche Vitero. Vitero and Brown were separated at the time.

In a 2019 op-ed for the San Francisco Chronicle, Brown acknowledged his influence on Harris’s career. “Sure, I dated Kamala Harris. So what?” he wrote in the headline.

“Yes, we dated. It was more than 20 years ago,” Brown wrote. “And I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco.”

Harris went on to become the San Francisco district attorney, California attorney general, U.S. senator and then vice president under the Biden-Harris administration.

On Google, searches for Brown reached “peak popularity” on Sunday after President Joe Biden stepped down from the race and endorsed Harris as his successor.

Willie Brown trends on Google

According to a Headline USA review of Google Trends, the term “Willie Brown” hit a value of 100, indicating peak popularity. Google clarified that a “value of 50 means that the term is half as popular. A score of 0 means there was not enough data for this term.”

A Google chart showed that Brown reached maximum trend by 3 p.m. EST.

The states where the searches were most popular included California, New Mexico, Maine, North Carolina and Tennessee.

The Google trend for “Willie Brown” was first noticed by the Twitter page “@ITGuy1959.”

DNC Coup: Biden Must Resign Immediately, Trump and GOP Lawmakers Demand

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden faces increasing calls to resign immediately following his decision to step down from the 2024 race in what many describe as a “coup d’état.”

Leading these calls are President Donald Trump, Republican lawmakers and governors who argue that if Biden is unfit to seek re-election, he is equally unfit to remain in office until Jan. 21, 2025, when a new president will be sworn in.

In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote, “Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve – And never was! He only attained the position of President by lies, Fake News, and not leaving his Basement.”

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo,” echoed Trump’s sentiments, tweeting, “If you can’t run a mere political campaign, you can’t be President.” Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., added, “Joe Biden should resign. If he’s not capable to be a candidate after he won the primary he’s not capable of being President.”

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders echoed these concerns: “Not fit to run for president, not fit to serve as president. Biden should resign immediately.”

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., also weighed in, stating, “Doesn’t have the mental acuity or cognitive ability to run a political campaign but can serve for 6 more months as president? He should resign.”

Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., was equally vocal, writing, “If Joe Biden can’t run for re-election, he is unable and unfit to serve as President of the United States. He must immediately resign.”

She added, “The Democrat Party is in absolute free fall for their blatantly corrupt and desperate attempt to cover up the fact that Joe Biden is unfit for office.”

On Sunday, Biden decided to step down from the 2024 ticket after widespread demands from his own party.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., all spoke to Biden about his inability to win the 2024 race, prompting concerns that President Donald Trump could make a triumphant return in 2025.

Now That Biden Has Dropped Out, What Happens Next?

(Bethany Blankley, The Center Square) – If Joe Biden were to succumb to pressure from leaders of his own party and suspend his reelection campaign, several organizations have explained the process to replace him as the Democratic nominee.

Polls continue to show that former President Donald Trump would defeat Biden in November after Biden’s presidential debate performance in June, where he at times appeared to be incoherent.

On Friday, seven additional elected Democrats called on Biden to step down, the New York Times reported in its latest tally. So far, 37 Democrats have called on Biden “to step aside,” an additional 25 have “expressed concern” and 74 still support the president.

If Biden were to drop out, several organizations have explained the replacement process. If he withdrew before a virtual nomination process or before the Democratic National Convention meets next month, “there is no formal line of succession for a presidential nominee,” BallotPedia explains. Harris “would not automatically assume the role.”

Democrats would hold an open convention and delegates would “participate in rounds of voting until a new candidate received a majority of convention delegate votes,” Ballotpedia reports. “The Democratic Party’s 2024 Delegate Selection Rules do not provide specific guidance for how delegates should vote if their candidate withdraws.”

However, 14 states have laws that require presidential convention delegates “to vote according to how they were allocated after the state’s primary;” 12 states allow delegates “to be released when a candidate withdraws or after a specific number of rounds of voting at the national convention.”

The party could change the rules at the convention.

If a nominee is not selected by the majority of delegates in the first round of voting, a brokered convention would take place, also referred to as a multi-ballot convention.

There have been 15 multi-ballot Democratic National Conventions. The last one was in 1952 when, after three rounds of voting, delegates nominated Adlai Stevenson.

If Biden remains in the race and delegates elect him as the party’s nominee, but something were to happen causing the need for him to be replaced on the ballot after the convention and before the election, the Democratic National Committee is responsible for filling the vacancy, according to the Democratic Party’s bylaws.

“Under Article IX.G of the Call of the Convention, ‘[i]n the event of death, resignation or disability’ of a presidential or vice-presidential nominee after the convention, ‘the National Chairperson of the [DNC] shall confer with the Democratic leadership of the United States Congress and the Democratic Governors Association and shall report to the [DNC], which is authorized to fill the vacancy or vacancies,” the Congressional Research Service states.

“It is rare for a candidate to drop out of the race between his or her formal nomination at a national convention and the general election,” Ballotpedia notes. The last time the DNC replaced a candidate was 1972, “when Democratic vice presidential nominee Thomas Eagleton withdrew after details about his mental health treatment were publicized.”

Another possibility would be if Biden were reelected and as president-elect withdrew, died or became incapacitated between the general election and the presidential inauguration.

Such an occurrence has never happened before in U.S. history.

The 25th Amendment governs the succession process. When the office of the president becomes vacant due to “removal … death or resignation,” the vice president “shall become President.” When the office of vice president becomes vacant, the president “shall nominate a successor, who must be confirmed by a majority vote of both houses of Congress,” the Congressional Research Service explains.

Joe Biden Drops Out of the 2024 Race

(Headline USA) Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 race for the White House on Sunday.

The drop ended his bid for reelection following a disastrous debate with Donald Trump.

The disastrous debate was finally enough to get the media and Democrats to doubt the elderly president’s fitness for office.

The drop will likely create panic on the left as it is just four months before the election.

The decision comes after escalating pressure from Biden’s Democratic allies to step aside following the June 27 debate, in which the 81-year-old president trailed off and gave nonsensical answers.

Biden plans to serve out the remainder of his term in office, which ends at noon on Jan. 20, 2025.

“I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden wrote in a letter posted to his X account.

He did not immediately throw his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris, the party’s instant favorite for the nomination at its August convention in Chicago.
