Kamala Booted from Situation Room as U.S. Airbase in Iraq Under Attack

(Elias Irizarry, Headline USA) A US military airbase in Iraq was struck by rockets on Monday, leaving several soldiers injured and scrambling President Joe Biden and national security officials to the Situation Room.

However, it was noticed by reporters that Vice President Kamala Harris was dismissed early from the meeting.

“The Vice President’s vehicles are leaving right now, so it would seem that at least her part in the situation room is done, she will now go back to the Naval Observatory,” remarked Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Peter Doocy.

Doocey confirmed that the meeting had not ended to Fox News’s Bill Hemmer.

Harris later remarked how intense the situation was, but slipped that she had not been permitted to take part in all the meetings following the aftermath of the Iranian attack.

“I was in almost every meeting with the President,” remarked Harris.

The attack comes after the successful assassination of Ismail Haniyeh on July 31 in Iran. While Israel has not taken responsibility for the assassination, Iran has accused Israel of being the perpetrator of the attack and has sworn revenge.

“With this action, the criminal and terrorist Zionist regime prepared the ground for harsh punishment for itself, and we consider it our duty to seek revenge for his blood as he was martyred in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei of Iran.

Harris’s early departure left commentators questioning why the Vice President of the United States, who is seeking to become the President, would be dismissed early from a meeting regarding the most hostile attack on US service members since Jan. 29, 2024, when three servicemen were killed in Jordan.

“Amazing. Kamala was such a distraction she was dismissed,” wrote Jim Hoft of the Gateway Pundit, speculating that her laugh and personality were the root cause of her early dismissal.

Some speculated that Harris’ departure was in part due to internal tensions between her and Biden, who she, along with top Democrats, pressured to step down from his campaign in what’s been described as a “coup de-tat.”

“They kicked Kamala out of the Situation Room before the meeting even ended. Tensions seem high between her and Biden,” remarked Ryan Fournier, Chairman of Students for Trump, on the social media platform X.

Meanwhile, U.S. troops continue to be sitting ducks in Iraq. The Biden administration has reportedly warned that it could go to war with Iran if U.S. troops are killed by Iran-backed militias in Iraq. That has led to speculation that the Biden regime is leaving troops there as bait for Iran.

State Rep: Fake Military Voters Remain on Wisconsin Voters Rolls

(Benjamin Yount, The Center Square) The Wisconsin state representative who got three fake military ballots in the mail two years ago is now getting mail for at least one of those same fake people.

Rep. Janel Brandtjen, R-Menomonee Falls, on Tuesday said she recently got a letter for Holly Adams.

“’Holly Adams is one of several fictitious military names the Milwaukee deputy clerk created to send legitimate ballots to my home. To clarify, a Milwaukee clerk used fake identities to send authentic ballots to my address. Eighteen months after discovering this, I am still receiving mail for the fictitious ‘Holly Adams,’” Brandtjen said.

Brandtjen made headlines in October of 2022 when she turned three fake military ballots over to investigators. It turned out, a former deputy clerk in Milwaukee’s election office sent them to her house by registering fake voters.

The clerk said she sent the ballots to expose a loophole in Wisconsin’s MyVote system.

Brandtjen said she continues to get mail for one of those fake voters shows MyVote continues to have problems.

“Initially, I thought it was a sick joke, but with the help of individuals who purchased the voter list, I was shocked to learn that ‘Holly Adams’ is voter ID# 701923079. ‘Holly Brandtjen’ is also voter ID# 701923081, and ‘Holly Jones’ is voter ID # 701923080. All these fabricated names are listed in the WisVote system, though inactive and without voting history, but they are being sold to the public on the voter list,” Brandtjen added. “What does this say about the security of our elections? The Wisconsin Elections Commission and the three municipal clerks failed to remove these fake military identities even after the Milwaukee Deputy Clerk, Kim Zapata, was found guilty of election fraud.”

Zapata received probation for her conviction.

Once on Wisconsin’s voter list, no one ever comes off. They are either active or inactive, and Brandtjen said all three fake military voters are inactive.

Still, she said they are on the list, and people can buy that list to target them as voters. Even though they never existed.

“The presence of these illegitimate military voters in the WisVote system highlights a blatant disregard for maintaining an accurate voter registry. Even though they are inactive and have no voting history, the system can be updated daily. There is no plausible reason for these names to remain on the inactive list after being implicated in election fraud,” Brandtjen added. “This negligence fosters distrust in the system, and unfortunately, no one will be held accountable for this incompetence.”

Dems Send Mixed Messages w/ Kamala Pic from Michelle Obama Convention Speech

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Democrats sent mixed signals in a social-media post Sunday as they attempted to stir up some excitement over their new candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, according to Red State.

The picture, showing Harris surrounded by “Michelle” signs for Michelle Obama, caused a great deal of confusion among potential Democrat voters.

Meanwhile conservative pundits wondered if anoter pre-convention bait-and-switch could be in the cards for the elites controlling the Democratic National Committee.

“Why do your signs read ‘Michelle’?” social-media influencer Liz Churchill asked.

The former first lady’s political aspirations have long been the subject of speculation, with many believing she would be the surprise candidate to emerge following the inevitable ouster of President Joe Biden from the ticket.

DNC members claimed this week that they had formally nominated Harris as part of a virtual roll-call to stave off any last-minute calls for a brokered convention that might further undermine their message and splinter Democrat voters into competing camps.

But the closed-door consortium of party elites—who already bypassed the democratic selection process once by running Biden as their primary candidate and prohibiting any serious challenges—might take one last opportunity to call an audible if Harris’s media-manufactured support shows any signs of strain.

“Seems odd that you’d include a picture of the convention with Michelle’s name everywhere,” conservative influencer Alex Muse, chimed in to respond.

Some suspected a sort of psy-op might be afoot, with the DNC deliberately using a photo from the 2008 convention, in which former President Barack Obama was nominated, to subliminally implant their message.

“lmao they’re doing this on purpose at this point #simulation” said Cory Myres, a Texas-based entrepreneur and Army veteran.

National Pulse editor Raheem Kassam set the record straight by explaining the photo’s source and posited his theory as to what the intended message was.

“For those wondering, this picture is from DNC 08,” he wrote. “It’s their way of telling you who is really in charge, as has been the case since 2008: the Obamas.”

Some reports have indicated that the Obamas had a different candidate in mind—possibly Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., if not Michelle herself—but that their plans were derailed by Biden’s endorsement of Harris.

Prior to Harris’s acceptance of Biden’s endorsement and the astroturfed campaign that ensued to rehabilitate her, Harris was considered to a political nonstarter due to her status as the least popular vice president in modern history.

Many of her previously stated policy positions are aligned with the farthest reaches of left-wing politics—although none are publicly available on her website.

Planned Parenthood endorsed Harris as an ideal candidate, also giving her a stunningly good review.

As border czar, Harris she accomplished nothing other than the welcoming a massive influx of millions of immigrants into America via the southern border.

She also promised to “stay woke,” and encouraged all of her followers to do the same.

Posing as Hitmen, Undercover Feds Bust Iran-Linked Pakistani in Terror Plot

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The FBI is claiming to have foiled a sophisticated Iran-sponsored terror plot, in which a Pakistani was attempting to hire hitmen to carry out political assassinations on U.S. soil.

But the court records show that the “hitmen” were, in fact, undercover FBI agents.

The case looks similar to the supposed 2022 Iran plot to kill former national security adviser John Bolton. In that case, the FBI claimed that a member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps–Qods Force tried assassinating Bolton—but the Iranian was never confirmed to be an IRGC-QF member, and the “assassin” he was trying to hire was an FBI informant.

In the case announced Tuesday, the Justice Department said that the defendant, Asif Merchant, traveled to New York in April for the purpose of paying a $5,000 advance to the two undercover U.S. law enforcement officers. Merchant was arrested last month before he could leave the U.S.

“Fortunately, the assassins Merchant allegedly tried to hire were undercover FBI Agents,” said Acting Assistant Director Christie Curtis of the FBI New York Field Office.

Court documents do not identify any of the potential targets, and parts of the complaint remain sealed—the DOJ cited an ongoing investigation for the secrecy. The court docs do not in any way explain how Iran was involved in the Pakistani’s hairbrained scheme.

The new DOJ bombshell arrices just weeks after U.S. officials disclosed that a threat on Donald Trump’s life from Iran prompted additional security in the days before a Pennsylvania rally last month in which Trump was injured by a gunman’s bullet.

That shooting, carried out by a 20-year-old Pennsylvania man, has no apparent connection to Iran. Merchant was arrested on July 12, one day before the rally where Trump was shot, and the instructions prosecutors say he gave to the men he thought he was hiring were for killings to take place in August or September — after he had left the country.

Federal officials identified Merchant as a Pakistani citizen who has said he has a wife and children in Iran. He traveled frequently to Iran, Syria and Iraq, the Justice Department said.

U.S. officials have warned for years about Iran’s desire to avenge the 2020 killing of Qassem Soleimani, who led the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force. That strike was ordered by Trump.

UN Org. Linked to Kamala’s Step-Daughter Fires More Staffers over Oct. 7 Involvement

(Headline USA) The United Nations said Monday it has fired additional staff members from its agency for Palestinian refugees after an internal investigation found they may have been involved in the Hamas-led Oct. 7 attack against Israel.

The U.N. secretary-general’s office announced the move in a brief statement to journalists. Farhan Haq, deputy spokesperson for the secretary-general, did not elaborate on the UNRWA staffers’ likely role in the attack or on the evidence that prompted its decision.

UNRWA previously fired 12 staffers and put seven staffers on administrative leave without pay over the claims. The group of nine staffers the U.N. announced it had fired Monday includes some from each group, said Juliette Touma, communications director for UNRWA.

The U.N. did not clarify how many have now been fired from the agency in total.

The U.N.’s internal watchdog has been investigating the agency since Israel in January accused 12 UNRWA staffers of being involved in the Oct. 7 attack on Israel, in which militants killed 1,200 people and abducted some 250 others.

Israel’s allegations initially led top donor countries to suspend their funding for UNRWA. That caused a cash crunch of about $450 million dollars. Since then, all donor countries except for the US have decided to resume funding.

Oren Marmorstein, the spokesperson for Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on X following the announcement of the firings that Israel was again calling for donor countries to suspend funding “as the funds may go to terrorist elements.”

“UNRWA is part of the problem and not part of the solution, and anyone who seeks the best interests of Israel, the Gaza Strip and the region should act to replace UNWRA’s activities with other agencies,” he wrote.

The U.N. watchdog charged with investigating UNRWA, called the Office of Internal Oversight Services, said it drew on evidence provided by Israel in discussions with Israeli authorities. It said it could not independently corroborate that evidence since it did not have direct access to it. The investigators also reviewed internal UNRWA information, including staff records, email and other communications data.

It said it found sufficient evidence pointing to nine employees’ potential involvement in the Oct. 7 attack.

An Israeli official with knowledge of the discussions, who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media, said that Israeli authorities spent hours on each accused UNRWA staffer when briefing U.N. investigators on their findings.

“I have decided that in the case of these remaining nine staff members, they cannot work for UNRWA,” the agency’s head Philippe Lazzarini said in a statement.

“The agency’s priority is to continue lifesaving and critical services for Palestine refugees in Gaza and across the region, especially in the face of the ongoing war, the instability and risk of regional escalation,” said Lazzarini, who also said he condemned the Oct. 7 attack.

In nine other cases, the evidence was insufficient, and in one other case there was no evidence pointing to involvement.

UNRWA has been the main agency distributing aid to Palestinians in Gaza during the 10-month-old war there, which Gaza Health officials say has killed over 39,600 people and unleashed a mass humanitarian catastrophe.

Israel has escalated calls for the agency’s shutdown since the war began. It has long accused UNRWA of collaborating with Hamas and turning a blind eye to the militant group’s activities. Throughout the war, it has released images of tunnels built next to UNRWA facilities and charged that many more UNRWA staffers than those who have been fired are members of militant groups.

During the war, far-right protesters demonstrating against the agency have set portions of its facility in Jerusalem ablaze.

UNRWA denies collaborating with Hamas. The agency says that more than 200 UNRWA staffers have been killed, and 190 of the agency’s installations have been damaged during the war — including U.N.-run schools that have been turned into shelters for displaced Palestinians.

The organization is linked to Ella Emhoff, the stepdaughter of Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris. Emhoff has fundraised for the organization on multiple occasions, even after they were exposed to have employed at least 450 individuals with ties to extremist groups, providing electricity to Hamas, and having Hamas tunnels under their offices.

NYT Now Admits Tim Walz Delayed National Guard Deployment During George Floyd Riots

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Now they tell us.

Now that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has already been chosen to be Kamala Harris’s running mate for the 2024 election, the New York Times can reveal that Walz delayed deploying his National Guard when rioting began in the wake of George Floyd’s May 25, 2020, death.

“Two days after Mr. Floyd’s death, with protests in Minneapolis turning increasingly violent, the city’s mayor, Jacob Frey, asked Mr. Walz to deploy the National Guard,” NYT reported Tuesday.

“Hours later, the city’s police chief submitted a written request for 600 troops. But it was not until the next afternoon that Mr. Walz signed an executive order allowing the Guard to assist cities.”

As noted by journalist Steve Sailer, Minneapolis was in abject chaos by the time Walz deployed the National Guard three days later.

“On Thursday May 28 came what strikes me as The Big One in the Summer of George: rioters surrounded the Minneapolis Third Precinct, the cops abandoned their post under orders from Mayor Frey, and the rioters burned it down,” Sailer said.

Walz reportedly declined an NYT interview request. Instead, the newspaper quoted Republican State Senator Warren Limmer, who helped lead a committee that investigated the response to the unrest.

“It was obvious to me that he froze under pressure, under a calamity, as people’s properties were being burned down,” Limmer said.

Sailer questioned the timing of the surprisingly critical report from NYT, which has defended the riots as “mostly peaceful protests.”

“Now that Kamala picked MN governor Tim Walz, the NYT is unleashing previously unwelcome Hate Facts about the George Floyd Mostly Peaceful Protests of 2020. A Midwest correspondent of the NYT, Mitch Smith, absolutely dumps on Kamala’s Veep choice,” he said.

“Perhaps the New York Times should have published this before Walz was chosen?”

Musk Sues Leftist Censorship ‘Alliance’ for Colluding in ‘Massive Advertiser Boycott’ of X

(Headline USA) Elon Musk’s social media platform, X, has sued a group of leftist corporations, saying a “massive advertiser boycott” in the wake of his Twitter takeover deprived the company of billions of dollars in revenue and violated antitrust laws.

The company filed the lawsuit Tuesday in a federal court in Texas against the World Federation of Advertisers and member companies Unilever, Mars, CVS Health and Orsted.

It accused the advertising group’s initiative, called the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, of colluding to throttle advertising after Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion in late 2022 and overhauled its staff and policies in a bid to restore its function as a platform for free speech.

Increasingly, the San Francisco-based tech giant had begun to aggressively censor U.S. conservative viewpoints, including efforts to meddle in the 2020 election by suppressing posts about Hunter Biden’s notorious laptop.

Twitter was discovered to have been secretly coordinating with intelligence agencies such as the FBI, as well as with the Biden campaign, in forming its policies on what speech to censor.

Nonetheless, the woke corporations named in Musk’s lawsuit quicky sought to punish him for daring to allow verboten viewpoints on the site.

Musk posted about the lawsuit on X on Tuesday, saying “now it is war” after two years of being nice and “getting nothing but empty words.”

X CEO Linda Yaccarino said in a video announcement that the lawsuit stemmed in part from evidence uncovered by the U.S. House Judiciary Committee which she said showed a “group of companies organized a systematic illegal boycott” against X.

The Republican-led committee had a hearing last month looking at whether current laws are “sufficient to deter anticompetitive collusion in online advertising.”

The lawsuit’s allegations center on the early days of Musk’s Twitter takeover and not a more recent dispute with advertisers that came a year later, in which several used a debunked story from the leftist propaganda site Media Matters to accuse Musk of supporting anti-Semitism.

Musk later said those fleeing advertisers were engaging in “blackmail” and famously told them to “go f**k yourself.”

I Thought Gold Was a Safe Haven! Why Did It Tank With Stocks?

(Mike Maharrey, Money Metals News Service) And in the blink of an eye, the expectation of a “soft” landing turned into worries about a crash landing!

It was a bloody Monday in the stock market as analysts digested the dreary jobs report released Friday and suddenly discovered the rot in the economy’s foundation. They fretted that the Federal Reserve waited too long to cut interest rates and worried its lallygagging would tip the economy into a recession.

(I have argued for months that the problem started long before the first Fed rate hike. It began when the central bank decided to keep the easy money spigot wide open for more than a decade. You can read more about that HERE.)

The carnage in the U.S. stock market was widespread.

  • Dow Jones: -1033.99/ -2.6 percent
  • NASDAQ: -576.08/ -3.43 percent
  • S&P 500: -160.23/ -3 percent
  • Russell 2000: -70.15/ -3.33 percent

The selloff wasn’t limited to the U.S. Markets around the globe bled red ink. Some $6.4 trillion was wiped off global stock markets. For instance, Japan’s Nikkei 225 Index plunged 13.2 percent as investors absorbed the recent interest rate hike.

It just goes to show how quickly market sentiment can shift.

The reasons for the global selloff went beyond worries about the U.S. economy. As a Bloomberg article put it, investors are coming to terms with the fact that they were operating under a lot of erroneous assumptions.

“One thing is clear: the pillars that had underpinned financial-market gains for years — a series of key assumptions that investors across the world were banking on — have been shaken. They look, in hindsight, a bit naïve: the U.S. economy is unstoppable; artificial intelligence will quickly revolutionize business everywhere; Japan will never hike interest rates — or not enough to really matter.”

So, What Happened to Gold?

Gold and silver didn’t escape the carnage.

At its low, the price of gold was down 3.2 percent before rallying later in the day to recover the $2,400 an ounce level. Nevertheless, the yellow metal finished down 1.3 percent on the day.

Silver got pounded even harder, dropping as much as 7.2 percent at its interday low. Worries about an economic slowdown and an ensuing decrease in silver demand hammered the silver price down.

You might be wondering why gold – supposedly a safe haven – dropped during the broader selloff. Shouldn’t a good haven do well amid market chaos?

In fact, the plunge in the price of gold was perfectly normal given the market conditions. Gold often sells off early in a bear market for stocks.

In 2020, gold had a 3 percent decline multiple times in the early days of the pandemic selloff. In October 2008, gold plunged by more than 7 percent in the early days of the financial crisis.

But why?

Precisely because gold serves as a hedge.

Investors often liquidate winning gold positions during a sharp downturn to cover stock losses. But gold generally falls less sharply and recovers more quickly – exactly the scenario that played out on Monday.

Here’s how an analyst explained it to Bloomberg:

“Virtually every time there is marked equities weakness, investors who hold gold as a risk hedge will liquidate part of their holdings to raise liquidity against any potential margin calls. When the dust settles, they almost invariably buy it back.”

Margin calls are a big problem for investors during a sharp stock market downturn. When an account falls below a certain threshold, brokers demand additional deposits of money or securities to bring the account balance up to a required minimum level.

Given gold’s liquidity, investors can quickly sell to raise the cash necessary to cover margin calls.

It’s important to put Monday’s gold selloff into perspective. Even with the downturn, gold hit a record just a few weeks ago, and the yellow metal is still up well over 15 percent on the year with bullish factors firmly in place.

A recession would likely mean deeper and quicker interest rate cuts. As a non-yielding asset, the mainstream tends to view lower interest rates as positive for gold. And of course, a return to easy money is a surrender to inflation. In other words, the inflation dragon will likely be resurrected (if you actually believe he is dead).

As far as silver, an economic downturn would temper industrial demand, and the white metal is much more volatile than gold. But silver is fundamentally a monetary metal, and it tends to track with gold over time. In fact, silver has historically outperformed gold in a gold bull market. For example, during the pandemic, gold increased by about 40 percent, while silver increased by 141 percent.

Whether Monday’s selloff was just a tremor before the earthquake, or the beginning of the great unwind, there are plenty of reasons to be bullish on both gold and silver. These price dips could be viewed as a buying opportunity.

The Rot in the Commercial Real Estate Market in One Story

(Mike Maharrey, Money Metals News Service) I’ve been watching the commercial real estate (CRE) sector as a potential catalyst for the next financial crisis. So far, it has managed to hold together, but there is still trouble brewing under the surface.

The story of one commercial real estate investment by UBS Group is a microcosm of the commercial real estate market.

In 2006, an investment fund managed by a division of UBS bought the Sports Illustrated Building in Manhattan for $332 million. It purchased the land under the 925,000-square-foot building in 2012 for $279 million.

Seven years later, UBS sold the land to Safehold for $285 million. Safehold specializes in land leases, and at the time of the sale, UBS inked a long-term ground lease with the company to retain control of the building.

According to Wolfstreet, UBS likely held onto the building in 2019 because there was an office shortage in Manhattan, and rents were sky-high.

“In theory, UBS could draw income from the building – the office rents, on their way to the moon, would hopefully exceed the costs of the ground lease and other expenses – while it had drawn $285 million in cash out of the property.”

As you can guess, things didn’t turn out that way.

Not anticipating COVID-19, UBS pumped even more money into the building, with approximately $76 million in renovations.

When construction was completed in early 2021, the building was leased to about 40 percent of capacity. At the time, UBS had invested about $408 million in the property.

Of course, by this time, the CRE market was in the midst of a freefall. Building occupancy quickly fell to 35 percent.

UBS faced a double-whammy of falling occupancy and declining rents. Rental income could no longer cover the ground lease. As WolfStreet put it, “The whole thing had turned into a money-suck.”

UBS put the tower on the market. It almost managed to cobble together a deal, but it fell through. Eventually, the investment bank sold the building via online auction for a paltry $8.5 million.

Putting it all together, UBS paid $332 million for the building and then invested another $76 million in renovations for a total of $408 million.  Then it sold the building for $8.5 million, a massive $399.5 million loss.

It did manage to eke out a $6 million gain on the land, dropping the total loss to $393.5 million – a 43 percent loss on the investment.

The loss won’t look as bad on the books because accounting rules allow UBS to depreciate the value of the building, but accounting tricks don’t mitigate an actual loss.

Now, multiply this scenario hundreds of times and you can see why there is worry about the CRE market.

Today, the CRE sector faces the triple whammy of falling prices, falling demand, and rising interest rates. The post-pandemic rise of telecommuting and work-at-home programs crushed demand for office space. Vacancy rates in commercial buildings have soared.

This has put significant stress on commercial real estate companies. The biggest bankruptcy in 2023 was the failure of the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust. The company had loaded up with more than $1 billion in liabilities.

The collapse of the commercial real estate market could easily spill over into the financial sector. That’s because a lot of loans are coming due.

According to the Mortgage Bankers Association, around $1.2 trillion of commercial real estate debt in the United States will mature over the next two years.

According to Trepp (a real estate data provider), $2.56 trillion in commercial real estate loans will mature over the next five years, with $1.4 trillion held by banks.

All of that debt will have to be refinanced. That’s a big problem for debtors who face much higher interest rates to borrow money on buildings with much lower values.

And as the UBS example shows us, selling the buildings doesn’t offer a solution.

Judicial Watch Sues for CIA Records on Jan. 6

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Judicial Watch has sued the CIA for records it holds about the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill uprising.

Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit on July 24, after the CIA failed to comply with a Freedom of Information Act request for its records about shots being fired inside the US Capitol, requests for CIA support, bomb technicians being used, or explosives K-9s being used. Judicial Watch also seeks any after-action reports the CIA may have on the protests.

Judicial Watch’s lawsuit comes a few months after CIA explosives technicians were revealed to have been part of the response to the pipe bombs placed outside the RNC and DNC headquarters on Jan. 5, 2021.

The revelation about the CIA bomb techs was included in 88 pages of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives records obtained by Judicial Watch via FOIA earlier this year.

“[ATF] records include a series of text messages under the heading ‘January 7 Intel Chain’ in which two separate references to participation by the CIA are made. One states that ‘two CIA bomb techs’ are assisting with ‘a pipe bomb scene on New Jersey and D ST SE.’ Another references ‘several CIA dog teams on standby,’” Judicial Watch said in March.

The revelation that the CIA was a part of the pipe bombs response adds to the mystery of a case that remains cold more than three years after the fact. As Headline USA revealed last month, the FBI identified a suspect within days, but never made any arrests.

An issue ignored by mainstream media, conservative outlets such as Revolver News have shown the improbability that the explosive devices could have been sitting outside the DNC and RNC headquarters for some 17 hours.

On Friday, the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General released a much-anticipated report, showing that the Secret Service swept the DNC before Vice President-elect Kamala Harris went there at 11:25 a.m. Somehow, agents didn’t find the pipe bomb, and it remained sitting near the DNC until it was discovered by a plainclothes Capitol Police officer at 1:05 p.m.—right as rioting at the Capitol was starting.

According to the IG report, there were two Secret Service teams who swept the building. One team swept the outside, but only checked the garage entrance ramp and “some other areas near the garage entrance, including a storm drain, but did not include the bushes where the pipe bomb was located,” the report said.

As a result, “The motorcade including the Vice President-elect came within less than 20 feet of the pipe bomb,” the report said.
