Walz Picked for VP Spot at Last Minute after Fetterman Trashed Shapiro

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Many people wondered why Kamala Harris chose Gov. Tim Walz, D–Minn., instead of Gov. Josh Shapiro, D-Pa., and it seems that Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., convinced Harris that Shapiro was a bad choice for her and the Democratic Party.

The Daily Wire reported that Harris couldn’t decide on her running mate even one night before she was scheduled to make the announcement.

NBC News Chief White House correspondent Peter Alexander said that as of Aug. 5, 2024, “VP Harris had not yet made a final decision and wanted to sleep on it one more night.”

“This source tells me the Harris campaign has printed signs with Harris’ name and multiple different possible VP picks beneath it so they are prepared for whatever decision she makes,” Alexander wrote.

However, the next day, multiple news outlets reported that Harris picked Walz. Later that day, Harris formally announced Walz as her running mate, but before that, she confirmed the reports on social media.

Many people expected Shapiro to be selected as a potential vice president, but Walz was picked instead. Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich explained that Fetterman convinced Harris not to pick Shapiro.

“Two sources confirm on background the deciding factor in the VP’s choice was what Sen Fetterman said publicly: concerns Shapiro’s own personal ambitions would cause him to upstage/override Harris. The video Shapiro produced with Philly Mayor Cherelle Parker’s team solidified this sentiment on Friday,” she wrote.

People quickly responded to the news on social media.

“Fetterman knifing Shapiro for an unambiguously good reason is the best possible twist we could have gotten in this saga,” one person wrote.

Walz was also endorsed by members of “The Squad,” including leftist Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

“Congratulations to our next Vice President,” Omar wrote, adding that Walz is “Bringing Minnesota nice to the ticket” and “[signing] universal school meals, paid family and sick leave, marijuana legalization and protections for reproductive rights into law.”

Biden, Harris Released Almost 100 Illegals on Terror Watchlist in U.S.

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A new U.S. House report revealed that nearly 100 illegal aliens on the terror watch list have been released into the United States under the Biden–Harris administration.

Fox News also reported that Border Patrol agents have encountered illegals on the watch list from dozens of different countries.

“Under the Biden-Harris Administration, of the more than 250 illegal aliens on the terrorist watchlist who were encountered by Border Patrol at the southwest border between fiscal years 2021 and 2023, [the Department of Homeland Security] has released into American communities at least 99, with at least 34 others in DHS custody but not yet removed from the United States,” the report by Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee stated.

The staff interim report also discovered that immigration judges granted bonds to at least 27 illegals on the watchlist and that Border Patrol has encountered tens of thousands of illegals from countries that could present national security risks. Among those were 2,134 people from Afghanistan, 33,347 from China, 541 from Iran, 520 from Syria and 3,104 from Uzbekistan.

“That does not include the untold numbers of potential terrorists that evaded Border Patrol to enter the United States as part of nearly 2 million ‘getaways’ since the beginning of the Biden-Harris Administration,” the report stated.

The report also found that Border Patrol had encountered illegals on the terror watchlist from 36 different countries, among which were places with active terror presences. In addition to the countries that were previously mentioned, illegals from Lebanon, Pakistan, Somalia, Tajikistan and Yemen were also encountered at the southern border.

The Terrorist Screening Dataset (TSDS) contains sensitive information on different terrorists. TSDS initially contained only known or suspected terrorists (KSTs) but now also includes additional individuals who represent a “potential threat to the United States, including known affiliates of watchlisted individuals.”

“Although American communities already feel the disastrous effects of the Biden-Harris Administration’s immigration policies, the worst could still be yet to come,” the staff interim report said.

Walz Already Getting ‘Swiftboated’ over Embellished Military Service

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, now Kamala Harris’s running mate, “embellished and selectively omitted facts of his military career for years,” according to National Guard members who served alongside him.

These allegations originated from a 2018 open letter posted on Facebook, coinciding with Walz’s initial gubernatorial campaign.

The letter, first reported by the Daily Wire on Tuesday, accused Walz of abandoning his unit when it was set to be deployed to Iraq.

Walz had previously served 20 years before re-enlisting for seven years in 2001 after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. He was set to serve for seven years but only served four, retiring to run for Congress, where he would serve until becoming governor in 2018.

Retired Command Sergeants Major Thomas Behrends and Paul Herr alleged, “On May 16th, 2005, [Walz] quit, betraying his country, leaving the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion and its Soldiers hanging; without its senior Non-Commissioned Officer, as the battalion prepared for war.”

At the time, Walz claimed he was resigning to pursue a political career. Behrends and Herr retorted that Walz could have sought permission from the Department of Defense to run for public office.

“If he had retired normally and respectfully, you would think he would have ensured his retirement documents were correctly filled out and signed, and that he would have ensured he was reduced to Master Sergeant for dropping out of the academy,” the retired guardsmen wrote. “Instead he slithered out the door and waited for the paperwork to catch up to him.”

The letter also claimed Walz’s retirement documents were marked, “SOLDER NOT AVAILABLE FOR SIGNATURE” and highlighted his attempt to offer a fundraiser for his former battalion’s Christmas trip back home. “The same Soldiers he had abandoned just months before, trying to buy their votes,” Behrends and Herr stated.

On Nov. 3, 2006, Walz dismissed the accusations as falsehoods. These claims were originally raised by Tom Hagen, a Minnesota military reservist who served in Iraq, in a letter to the editor of The Winona Daily News.

Responding to Hagen’s allegations—12 years before they resurfaced—Walz stated, “After completing 20 years of service in 2001, I re-enlisted to serve our country for an additional four years following Sept. 11 and retired the year before my battalion was deployed to Iraq in order to run for Congress.”

He added, “I’m proud of the 24 years I served our country in the Army National Guard. There’s a code of honor among those who’ve served, and normally this type of partisan political attack comes only from one who’s never worn a uniform,” he added.

Leftist Pundits Melt Down over Kamala’s Anti-Semitic Snub of Pa. Gov

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Some leftist pundits are clutching their pearls after realizing that pro-Hamas leftists successfully pressured Vice President Kamala Harris into snubbing Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro as her running mate because he is Jewish.

On Tuesday, Harris bypassed Shapiro, a popular Democrat in a swing state, in favor of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. This decision coincided with anti-Semitic undertones in campaigns against Shapiro, including the nickname “Genocide Josh.”

As seen videos shared by the Media Research Center, CNN contributor Van Jones, MSNBC anchor Joe Scarborough and NBC News host Chuck Todd were among the commentators shocked that Harris did not pick Shapiro, despite the political benefits.

Speaking to CNN’s Alex Acosta, Jones suggested that there is a blend of frustrated Arab Americans and separate “anti-Semitism that has gotten marbled into this party.”

He added, “You can be for the Palestinians without being an anti-Jewish bigot. But there are some anti-Jewish bigots out. There’s some disquiet now and then has to be how much of what just happened is caving into some of these darker parts in the party.”

On Morning Joe, Scarborough said Harris’s decision not to pick Shapiro made little sense. “It’s hard to look at the very popular governor of that state and go, ‘Eh, I don’t know if I’m completely comfortable with him. I think I’ll go with Governor Walz.”

He further lamented that Shapiro “faced backlash from people who didn’t like the fact that he was Jewish.”

Scarborough critiqued the notable absence of anti-Israel protests objecting to Walz’s selection, despite his pro-Israel record compared to Shapiro.

Shapiro came under scrutiny “weirdly, for his position on Gaza, when the governor of Minnesota has been at least as pro-Israeli and more supportive of Benjamin Netanyahu,” the MSNBC host added.

Echoing these concerns, NBC News’s Todd questioned Harris’s rationale for snubbing Shapiro.

“I have a yellow flag in my head going, ‘Huh, if you squeal loud enough, she hears and responds.’ There is going to be people that will come away from this experience thinking, ‘Huh, the progressive backlash is what got her off of Shapiro or what got her off of Kelly,’” Todd said.

“In fairness, maybe they didn’t vet either, okay. That’s also a possibility when all is said and done, but on substance, I can’t help but have that takeaway,” he added.

The radical left is up in arms against Israel over its military efforts to rescue hostages from the Gaza Strip, where Hamas continues to wreak havoc. Several videos of the protests exposed individuals holding anti-Semitic signs.

Gaslighting Pelosi Denies Having Substantial Role in Biden Coup

(Headline USA) Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., claimed this week that she never told President Joe Biden to abandon his reelection bid, but rather urged him to give Democrats a “campaign that would win.”

Pelosi was one of several top Democrat leaders who reportedly met with Biden in the weeks following his disastrous debate performance against former President Donald Trump.

According to Politico, she gave Biden three weeks to decide whether he would withdraw “the easy way or the hard way,” the latter of which entailed having his Cabinet invoke the 25th Amendment to declare him unfit for office.

Pelosi, however, denied that she had any direct role in the pressure campaign against Biden.

“I wasn’t asking him to step down,” Pelosi claimed during an interview with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America. “I was asking for a campaign that would win. And I wasn’t seeing that on the horizon.”

Pelosi also denied that she encouraged others in the party to speak out against Biden.

“People said I was burning up the airwaves. No, I wasn’t,” she claimed.

“The only person that I spoke to about this was the president,” she continued. “Other people called me about what their views were about it, but I rarely even returned a call, much less initiated one.”

The comments contradict prior reports that she was quietly leading the whisper campaign against Biden while publicly issuing passive-aggressive remarks that made clear her desire to be rid of him in no uncertain terms.

However, additional comments by Pelosi in a separate interview with CNN suggest that she played a much bigger role in Biden’s decision than she’d like to admit. When asked if she’s spoken with Biden since he announced the end of his campaign, Pelosi admitted she hadn’t.

“We’re all busy,” she claimed.

When pressed on whether her relationship with Biden is still intact, she replied, “You would have to ask him, but I hope so.

Trump blasted the Democratic Party for forcing Biden out, calling their efforts a “coup” against the 81-year-old.

“I hate to stick up for Biden, but, you know, he didn’t want to do what he did. He said, ‘I’ll never go out. I’ll never, ever go out.’ About two days later, ‘I’m proud to go out,'” Trump said last month. “Because the fascists went after him. They threatened him with the 25th Amendment.”

Pelosi is currently making the rounds on the leftist media circuit to promote a new book, The Art of Power, about her time leading the House.

She claimed that the book focused on the importance of consensus-building and civility, neither of which she has espoused during her political career when it comes to sharing power with her Republican counterparts.

Kamala’s Policy-Free Campaign Even More Insulated than Biden’s in 2020

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) As of Aug. 6, 2024, more than two weeks after she became the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee, Kamala Harris still hasn’t agreed to even one interview, which is something that even Joe Biden didn’t do in 2020 when he was running his “basement” campaign.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that Harris conducted zero interviews since she became the presumptive nominee. In 2020, Biden at least gave two interviews from July 21, 2020, to Aug. 5, 2020.

Harris decided not to do that because her campaign’s official website, “Harris for President,” clearly indicates she doesn’t have a campaign platform. When visiting the website, a person could learn how to “take action,” buy pro-Harris merchandise and learn more about Harris’s life as a politician and California’s attorney general.

The website stated, “Now she is running for President of the United States to continue protecting our freedoms, delivering justice, and expanding opportunity so that every American can not just get by but get ahead.”

Instead of having a policy section, Harris’s campaign website states that “she is leading the charge to protect fundamental freedoms, including the right to an abortion and the right to vote.”

Of course, Harris’s campaign never bothered to include any of the politician’s policies because the establishment had been trying its hardest to make Harris a political moderate, even though her track record showed that she was a radical leftist.

As of now, spokespeople for her campaign have adopted the strategy of telling various mass media outlets that Harris has reversed her position on many issues since 2020 when she was running for president.

The spokespeople previously stated that Harris no longer supports abolishing private health insurance, outlawing fracking, slashing police departments’ budgets, eliminating Immigration and Customs Enforcement, mandating gun buybacks or instituting a federal job guarantee.

The Daily Caller reported that when CNN host Pamela Brown pressed Kamala Harris’s national campaign co-chair Mitch Landrieu on Harris wanting to defund the police in 2020, the campaign staffer denied that she ever did that.

Facing Likely Primary Defeat, Squad Member Bristles at Hamas ‘Terrorist’ Label

(Headline USA) Embattled “Squad” Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., hesitated to call Hamas a terrorist organization this week.

Bush has been one of the most outspoken critics of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza following Hamas’s Oct. 7 massacre last year, in which some 1,200 mostly Jewish citizens of Israel were brutally slaughtered while going about their daily lives.

Asked about her views by the New York Times ahead of a tight primary election on Tuesday, Bush refused to denounce Hamas in clear terms.

“We were called terrorists during Ferguson,” Bush said, making reference to the violent and destructive riots during the Obama administration that followed the 2014 death of shoplifter Michael Brown as he was preparing to charge toward police.

“Have they hurt people? Absolutely,” Bush said, appearing to minimize the brutality of the Hamas ambush before drawing a false equivalence to its victim. “Has the Israeli military hurt people? Absolutely.”

Hamas is widely known to use its own citizens as human shields, setting up its bases of operation in or near schools, hospitals and other locations where collateral damage will be maximized.

Bush then proceeded to claim ignorance as her justification for avoiding a rush to judgment on the Palestinian terrorist syndicate.

“Would they qualify to me as a terrorist organization? Yes. But do I know that? Absolutely not,” she said.

“I have no communication with them,” she continued. “All I know is that we were considered terrorists, we were considered black identity extremists, and all we were doing was trying to get peace. I’m not trying to compare us, but that taught me to be careful about labeling if I don’t know.”

Bush’s spokesperson tried to walk back the leftist congresswoman’s comments in a follow-up statement, insisting that she does know that Hamas is a terrorist organization but believes the “terrorist” label has been “weaponized by the far-right consistently to justify violence and, in this instance, the collective punishment of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.”

Last year, Bush was one of the only lawmakers to vote against a resolution barring Hamas and anyone who participated in the Oct. 7 attack from the U.S.

Her virulently anti-Israel rhetoric has resulted in a tight primary race between Bush and her challenger Wesley Bell, a local prosecutor who has run as the centrist candidate.

In an effort to save her campaign, the other “Squad” representatives held a virtual rally on Monday night, urging progressive voters in Missouri to turn out in support for her.

Video Resurfaces of Raskin Seditiously Plotting to Block Trump Election, Trigger Civil War

(Headline USA) Resurfaced video footage of comments Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., made earlier this year reveal just how far Democrats plan to go to keep former President Donald Trump out of the White House.

Speaking on a panel in February, Raskin detailed how congressional Democrats could prevent Trump from taking office if he wins November’s election.

He correctly predicted the Supreme Court would strike down efforts by some Democratic states to kick Trump off their ballots using the 14th Amendment’s insurrection clause.

But if the court won’t “disqualify” Trump, Raskin added, then “it’s going to be up to us on Jan. 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified.”

This insurrection against a Trump win would would take place “at the counting of the Electoral College votes, which really could lead to something akin to civil war,” he admitted.

He then claimed that lawmakers who refuse to certify Trump’s Electoral College win would need “bodyguards” afterwards.

Several Republicans shared the video of Raskin’s comments this week, warning that despite their talk of protecting democracy, Democrats have no intention of actually doing so.

“I believe this is called a criminal conspiracy to commit election interference,” senior Trump adviser Stephen Miller said.

“This is what an actual threat to Democracy looks like,” tweeted Donald Trump Jr.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee wrote, “These arrogant elitist globalists hate the half of America that still loves America.”

Democrats have already upended democratic norms in their own primary election process. Despite winning the vast majority of primary votes, President Joe Biden was pressured into abandoning his reelection bid by top party leaders who feared he would lose to Trump.

The party then rallied behind Vice President Kamala Harris as the next presumptive presidential nominee, despite the fact that she has not received a single primary vote this election cycle to serve as a presidential candidate.

Judge Tosses J6 Conviction of Ohio Pastor Following SCOTUS Ruling

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A federal judge dismissed the conviction of an Ohio pastor involved in the Jan. 6 protests after the Supreme Court delivered a scathing rebuke of the DOJ’s broad interpretation of an obstruction law.

On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton vacated the obstruction conviction of William Dunfee following the high court’s ruling in Fischer v. United States, reported Politico journalist Kyle Cheney.

In Fischer, the justices ruled that federal prosecutors must demonstrate that a defendant impaired the availability or integrity of an official proceeding. Prosecutors had initially argued that merely entering the Capitol impaired the certification of the 2020 election.

Dunfee was convicted of two felony charges partially under this flawed legal theory. Among those charges included obstruction of an official proceeding or aiding and abetting, and civil disorder. He was also convicted of a misdemeanor charge of entering or remaining in a restricted area.

The charges stemmed from Dunfee’s Jan. 6 trip to Washington, D.C., to protest what he perceived as government tyranny and socialist undermining of the 2020 presidential election.

Prosecutors submitted evidence showing Dunfee explaining to law enforcement officials his intent to protest the election results.

“Mister police officers, we want you to understand something. … We want Donald Trump and if Donald Trump is not coming, we are taking our house. We are taking our house,” Dunfee allegedly told police.

Dunfee was arrested in October 2022 and convicted on Jan. 22, 2024. He was one of 64 Ohioans charged with Jan. 6-related crimes, according to the Coshocton Tribune.

In total, 1,488 people were arrested for their involvement in the Jan. 6 protests, according to a DOJ press release. Roughly 547 individuals have been charged with assault or impeding officers and 259 others with obstruction.

The DOJ announced on Tuesday it is reviewing individual cases related to obstruction following the high court’s decision in Fischer.

“There are zero cases where a defendant was charged only with corruptly obstructing, influencing, or impeding an official proceeding, or attempting to do so,” the DOJ wrote. “Every defendant also faces other criminal charges—felonies, misdemeanors, or both—for illegal conduct related to the Capitol Breach.”

British Citizen Arrested over Facebook Comments amid Anti-Immigration Uprising

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In response to recent anti-immigration protests, the British government began arresting citizens over social-media comments that the government disagreed with, the Business & Politics Review reported.

Working-class British citizens and Muslim immigrants violently clashed in the streets following the murder of three young girls in Southport, England.

The suspect in the grisly stabbing attack, which injured several other children and adults, was the 17-year-old son of Rwandan immigrants.

In response to the uprising, however, British authorities appeared to side largely with the immigrants, threatening draconian consequences against their own citizens over what radical leftist Prime Minister Keir Starmer labeled “far-right” protests.

Starmer, recently elevated into the role after the left-wing Labour Party routed conservatives in a special parliamentary election, threatened to escalate tensions by mobilizing a standing police force—prompting some on social media to criticize his hypocrisy with hashtags including #TwoTierKeir.

However, some political dissidents quickly discovered that even Facebook criticism was not to be tolerated under the new Orwellian police state.

One British citizen captured footage of his apparent arrest after he wrote an anti-immigrant Facebook post.

“I’m arresting you on suspicion of improper use of the electronic communications network,” a female police officer says in the video as she accosts a man in his home.

“So I’m actually being arrested?” he asked, receiving a response in the affirmative as officers put on gloves to perform their search.

“This is in relation to some comments that you made on a Facebook page,” the female police officer added, noting that he was being arrested for offending people.

“You made some comments that are offensive, obscene,” she said before the police began the search of the victim’s person.

The video, which was posted on X, drew a response from billionaire Elon Musk, who questioned whether the footage was of England or the Soviet Union.

Musk’s criticisms, in turn, triggered Starmer, whose spokesman claimed that there was “no justification” for the remarks and denied allegations of enforcing laws in favor of Muslims while ignoring the law when it would benefit British citizens.

“What we’ve seen in this country is organized illegal thuggery which has no place on our streets or online,” the spokesperson said, according to CNBC.

“We’re talking about a minority of thugs that do not speak for Britain, and in response to it we’ve seen some of the best of our communities coming out to clean up the mess and disruption,” the spokesperson added. “You can tell from that the prime minister doesn’t share those sentiments.”

Other U.K. officials went on to blame Musk, accusing the X owner of being remiss in his censorship duties.

“I do think the social media companies should be doing more,” Courts Minister Heidi Alexander told Sky News Tuesday. “They’ve got a moral responsibility not to be propagating and disseminating misleading and inflammatory content on their platforms.”

As bleak as things appear to be in England, similar patterns have developed in President Joe Biden’s America.

Last year, for instance, Biden’s FBI accosted and killed Craig Robertson, a 75-year-old Utah Trump supporter, conducting an early-morning raid of his home that ended in his death after Robertson joked that he planned to “dust off the M24 sniper rifle” for Biden’s visit to the state.

In another example of two-tiered justice, an actual assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump last month has uncovered rampant incompetence and politicization within the U.S. Secret Service, which had several opportunities to prevent would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks from wounding Trump with a near-fatal shot that grazed his ear.

Rallygoer Corey Comperatore was killed by one of the stray bullets, and two others were critically injured.

The Justice Department has prosecuted more than 1,000 political dissidents for their participation in the Jan. 6, 2021, mostly peaceful uprising at the U.S. Capitol, while it has turned a blind eye toward similar violence and vandalism from pro-Hamas rioters in recent weeks.
