Secret Service, K9s Respond to Anti-Semitic Bomb Threats at DNC

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The Chicago Police Department and the U.S. Secret Service have cleared bomb threats made against several Chicago hotels.

The investigation followed an email sent to Chicago news outlet Fox 32, claiming that bombs had been placed inside five hotels in Chicago, including the Hotel Chicago and the Hyatt House.

The threats appeared linked to the anti-Israeli protests coinciding with the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, as several tips contained anti-Semitic statements, Fox 32 reported.

“Law enforcement continues to assess and investigate all threats and reminds the public to report any suspicious activity directly by calling 911,” the DNC stated in a press release.

According to the outlet, officers initially deployed K9s to search the Nobu Hotel, located near the DNC venue, before expanding the search to at least five other hotels.

“Nothing suspicious found at this point,” an officer told Fox 32 reporter Paris Schutz, who was stationed outside the Nobu hotel.

“We’re taking the necessary precautions like we always do and we’ve been talking to our personnel to ensure that there was no incidents in any of those hotels,” said Secret Service Special Agent in Charge Derek Mayer.

While the threats appeared to be contained, high tensions continue to surround the DNC, with thousands of anti-Israeli activists viciously protesting the U.S. support for Israel amid ongoing efforts to rescue hostages from Gaza.

Headline USA has requested a copy from Fox 32 of the alleged bomb threats against the hotels.

On Oct. 7, Hamas terrorists launched an inhumane attack on southern Israel, resulting in the deaths of approximately 1,200 individuals. This marked the bloodiest attack against Jewish individuals since the Holocaust.

Hundreds were taken hostage to the Gaza Strip, with many still in captivity.

Leftist activists argue that Israel’s response to the attack, including its military operations to rescue the hostages, amounts to genocide. Many conveniently overlook the events that triggered the military intervention in Gaza.

Leftist Group Under Scrutiny over Illegal Alien Voter Registrations

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, has launched an inquiry into a controversial nonprofit leading an effort to register voters nationwide across several hospitals, the Washington Examiner reported on Tuesday,

Roy is requesting information about potential safeguards to block the registration of individuals ineligible to vote in the United States, including illegal aliens.

Vot-ER, a Boston-based nonprofit, is spearheading what it claims is a nonpartisan effort to register medical patients at taxpayer-funded hospitals, including the Athens Neighborhood Health Center, Indiana Health Centers and Mariposa Community Health Center.

The group came under fire after the Examiner reported that it was funded by “Democratic-allied dark money groups” and staffed by alleged leftist activists. The nonprofit reportedly uses the healthcare software company Epic Systems to streamline its voter registration efforts.

In a letter addressed to Vot-ER Director Aliya Bhatia and Epic CEO Judith Faulkner, Roy wrote, “I write today with concerns regarding joint voter registration efforts undertaken by your respective organizations.”

Roy added, “Specifically, as evidence non-citizens have illegally registered to vote in federal elections mounts throughout the country, I write to inquire about the steps your organizations are taking to ensure non-citizens do not register to vote under your joint effort.”

Roy requested information regarding the total number of voters registered by the entities. He also demanded the turnover of documentation on whether any non-citizens had attempted to register.

Also central to Roy’s inquiry are concerns that Vot-ER may be inadvertently registering individuals who might not be so sound-minded during their medical visits.

The groups claimed to have offered voter registration to over 305 million patients nationwide.

In one video, Vot-ER trained potential healthcare providers on “what to do if your patient shares that they are undocumented.”

In the video, Vot-ER’s Bhatia and a doctor role-played how to persuade illegal aliens to pressure their citizen family members to register to vote.

According to the Examiner, Vot-ER is part of a broader effort tied to an executive order by President Joe Biden, which seeks to use federal facilities as voter registration hotspots.

The outlet reported on alleged Freedom of Information Act documents linking Vot-ER to the order, noting that two Vot-ER staffers attended a 2021 meeting with Biden officials on how to best implement the order.

Neither Bhatia nor the company’s communications director, Brooke Wojdynski, responded to Headline USA’s request for comment before the publication of this article. An email to Faulkner also went unanswered.

Biden Skips DNC to Vacation at Home of Iranian Billionaire

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden delivered his speech at the DNC on Monday and immediately departed for a five-day vacation at the California ranch of Iranian billionaire and Democratic donor Joe Kiani.

The ranch, valued at $37 million, spans 8,000 acres and features six bedrooms, rolling hills, and a pool with blue-emerald-colored water. According to the New York Post, Biden’s stay at the property comes at no cost to him.

This vacation followed Biden’s delayed speech at the DNC, where he witnessed Vice President Kamala Harris reaping the benefits of his party apparatus after his forced exit from the 2024 ticket. First Lady Jill Biden, Hunter, Ashley and Biden’s six grandchildren are also accompanying him on the vacation.

Biden is no stranger to staying at the multi-million dollar homes of donors and allies.

His recent stay at Kiani’s ranch adds to a growing list of luxurious getaways, including properties in Lake Tahoe, California; St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands; Nantucket Island, Massachusetts; and Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

The combined value of these properties totals nearly $80 million, reported the New York Post in 2023.

Kiani, described by the White House as a “friend,” is the CEO of Masimo, a medical technology company founded in 1989 that now serves over 200 million people. He has a net worth of $1.1 billion, according to Forbes.

Kiani’s ties to Biden have come under scrutiny from House Republicans, who raised concerns that Kiani was “benefiting from his political contributions” to the president, according to a letter to the White House.

Fueling their concerns is the fact that Kiani gave over $1 million to the Biden Foundation in 2017. The billionaire donor also gave $750,000 to the Biden-affiliated Unite the Country super PAC and $1 million to the Biden Inaugural Committee.

After Biden’s inauguration, the federal government awarded Kiani nearly $3 million in federal contracts from the Biden-led departments of Defense, Health and Human Services and Veterans Affairs.

In a letter to Shalanda Young, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, twelve Republicans wrote, “While Masimo has received government contracts in previous Administrations, Mr. Kiani’s close ties to President Biden, including an appointment to a White House board creates the appearance that he is benefiting from his political contributions.”

Kiani was born in Iran and emigrated to the U.S. at the age of nine, according to Forbes. He graduated high school at 15 and later attended San Diego State University, studying electrical engineering. At 24, he launched Masimo, the company that contributed to his billion-dollar net worth.

Biden DOJ Tries to Squelch Case Forcing Arizona to Require Citizenship Proof

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) On Aug. 16, 2024, the Biden–Harris Department of Justice requested the U.S. Supreme Court “deny” Republicans’ bid to enforce an Arizona law that requires people to prove they are American citizens when registering and voting in elections.

U.S. Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar requested that the country’s highest court instead allow a lower court decision that prohibits the implementation of provisions of the statute in question to remain in effect for the 2024 election.

In the DOJ filing, she claimed that “applicants are not entitled to a stay” and encouraged the court to “deny” such a request.

“Judicial intervention at this stage would undermine the orderly administration of the election, risking the disfranchisement of thousands of voters who have already registered to vote using the federal form,” Prelogar argued.

The Biden-Harris administration was among several far-left parties to sue Arizona over the law shortly after it was passed in 2022.

AZ Free News reported that more than 11,600 people in Arizona voted via “federal-only” ballots during the 2020 election, which is larger than Biden’s margin of victory (10,457 votes) over Donald Trump.

While the Biden-Harris regime tries to ensure there will be no fair elections in Arizona at the end of the year, other Democrats push a bill in their party’s 2024 platform that would create a pathway for illegal aliens to become “lawful prospective immigrants” who would be issued IDs and Social Security numbers so that they could vote in the American elections, turning the United States in the everlasting “Democrat land.”

The U.S. Citizenship Act would allow the Homeland Security Secretary to “adjust the status of a lawful prospective immigrant to that of a lawful permanent resident” should an illegal remain in the country for five years without absences longer than 180 days.

The bill would also allow deported illegals to return if they had lived in the United States for at least three years.

“The legal immigration framework was last updated in 1990 and does not reflect the needs of our country in the 21st century. The U.S. Citizenship Act would permanently increase family-sponsored and employment-based immigration,” the “Expanding Legal Immigration & Deterring Illegal Immigration” plank of the DNC platform stated.

Meanwhile, on Aug. 19, 2024, the Republican-led Georgia State Election Board voted 3-2 to approve a new election integrity rule allowing local officials to ensure that the “total number of ballots cast” does not exceed “the total number of persons who voted.”

Leftists from all walks of life criticized the decision and became concerned that a “far-right takeover” of the battleground state’s election board could “swing” the 2024 election.

Upcoming Trump-Kamala Debate Moderator Says Trump Connected to KKK

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) ABC News host Linsey Davis, who is expected to moderate the upcoming presidential debate in Pennsylvania next month between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, suggested on Aug. 19, 2024, that Trump was flying to a small town in Michigan because he is connected to the Ku Klux Klan.

Davis expressed her Trump Derangement Syndrome while she was speaking to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Mich., at the Democratic National Convention.

“As you know, former President Donald Trump is expected to campaign in Howell, Michigan, tomorrow. Many people are aware that a month ago, in Howell, KKK protesters marched in the streets with white robes on and suggested that they support Donald Trump. I’m curious if you make anything about that connection and him going in particular to Howell tomorrow,” she said.

The anti-Trump comment came after it was announced last week that Davis would co-moderate ABC’s presidential debate with fellow network propagandist David Muir, which sparked people’s concerns that the network would not treat Trump fairly during the debate.

The concerns are reasonable because the network has been attacking Trump non-stop for almost a decade. Disney, the owner of ABC News, also appointed one of its executives to oversee the debate, who “coincidentally” happens to be Harris’s friend and donor.

Additionally, ABC News booked the debate in Philadelphia, one of the far-left American cities that would not be sympathetic toward Trump during the debate, assuming there would even be a live audience watching it.

The Daily Wire reported that the town of Howell has a population of more than 10,000 people and is located in a swing state that will play a critical role in determining who wins the White House.

Aside from the fact that last month’s “KKK” march had only a dozen participants, it was discovered that none of the protesters were wearing “white robes,” and none of them were KKK supporters. As expected, Davis lied by turning white people defending their rights into racists who were after black people on the streets of a small town.

The corrupt local media also claimed that the protesters were chanting “Heil Hitler” and expressing support for Trump.

Instead of doing any of that, the protesters were peacefully walking around with signs that said things like “White Lives Matter,” “End The War On White Children” and “Fight Against White Replacement.”

Pelosi Defends Ousting Biden: ‘I Did What I Had to Do’

(Headline USA) Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., defended her role in pushing President Joe Biden out of the 2024 race, insisting that the ends justified the means.

“Sometimes you have to take a punch for the children,” she told CNN on Monday. “I did what I had to do.”

Pelosi added that her concern “was not about the president” personally, but about “his campaign.”

She then grew frustrated with CNN hosts Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, who continued to press her on her conversations with Biden leading up to his decision to abandon his reelection bid.

“Why are we even talking about it?” Pelosi snapped.

In a later interview with reporters, Pelosi continued to insist she did the right thing, saying she was “sorry” for those “upset” over Biden’s departure, “but the country is very happy.”

She added, “I just wanted to win this election.”

During Biden’s speech at the Democratic National Convention on Monday night, Pelosi was seen awkwardly holding a sign that read, “We love Joe.”

Her relationship with the president reportedly has been tense in recent weeks, with Pelosi admitting she hadn’t spoken with Biden since he announced he would no longer seek reelection.

Biden insisted during his speech that reports alleging he held a grudge against Pelosi and other Democratic leaders were false.

“It’s been the honor of my lifetime to serve as your president,” he said.

“I love my job, but I love my country more,” he continued. “All this talk about how I’m angry at all those people who said I should step down, it’s not true!”

Ahead of his speech, Biden was asked by CNN whether he agreed with former President Donald Trump that the push to force him out of the race was a “coup.”

“I think he has a problem,” Biden responded.

Kathy Hochul Bragged During DNC Speech about N.Y. Convicting Trump

(Headline USA) New York Gov. Kathy Hochul bragged about former President Donald Trump being convicted on 34 felony counts in her state during her speech at the Democratic National Convention on Monday, the National Review reported.

After mistakenly referring to Vice President Kamala Harris as the “first president of the United States,” apparently forgetting to include the word “female,” Hochul began attacking Trump as someone who lacks “New York values.”

She blasted the former president and Manhattan real-estate mogul as a “fraud, a philanderer, and a felon,” adding, “It’s no wonder he had to flee to Mar-a-Lago. Sorry about that, Florida.”

In 2022, Hochul’s first year as governor, nearly 65,000 New Yorkers fled to Florida.

Hochul proceeded to make a mockery of the legal system, bringing up the series of lawfare cases that Democrats used to keep Trump off the campaign trail—which ultimately helped bolster his popular appeal in the campaign’s early days.

“Trump hasn’t spent much time in New York lately,” Hochul said. “Except, that is, to get convicted of 34 felonies—and that’s just fine with us!”

Trump was convicted earlier this year after Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged him for allegedly falsifying business records during his 2016 campaign.

Many legal scholars have noted that the case marked an extraordinary miscarriage of justice, with both Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan, a Democrat donor, essentially crafting new rules as they went to achieve their objective.

The GOP presidential nominee is set to be sentenced on Sept. 18, but has requested to delay it until after the Nov. 5 election—both to avoid interference in the election and to allow time for an appeal of of the verdict.

Trump’s team has argued the conviction was politically motivated, and that it must be reconsidered following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on presidential immunity.

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton also took a jab at Trump’s conviction, at one point even leading a “Lock him up!” chant from the crowd.

“Donald Trump fell asleep at his own trial, and when he woke up he made his own kind of history: the first person to run for president with 34 felony convictions,” she said.

Clinton went on to argue that Trump’s return to the White House would bring about the end of democracy.

“Those are the words our founders used: ‘Take care,’” she said. “Just look at the candidates: Kamala cares about kids, families and America. Donald only cares about himself,” she claimed.

Trump’s campaign noted that Democrat speakers at the convention mentioned his name a staggering 147 times versus mentioning the border eight times and inflation a mere three times.

Democrats also seemed inordinately fixated on the Jan. 6 uprising at the U.S. Capitol, carping on the nearly four-year-old MAGA revolt even as pro-Hamas rioters outside the DNC succeeded in tearing down a security fence Monday during their own violent protests.

Harley-Davidson Abandons Woke Policies after Conservative Backlash

(Headline USA) Harley–Davidson announced this week that it would end several woke company initiatives after outrage from conservatives and longtime bikers, the New York Post reported.

The classic motorcycle brand came under fire this summer after conservative influencer Robby Starbuck exposed several left-wing policies Harley–Davidson had implemented, including diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring requirements and LGBT training seminars.

“[W]e have not operated a DEI function since April 2024, and we do not have a DEI function today,” the company said in a statement posted to X on Monday. “We do not have hiring quotas and we no longer have supplier diversity spend goals.”

However, as Starbuck noted, Harley–Davidson CEO Jochen Zeitz has admitted DEI is a top priority of his.

Zeitz took the job in order to make the iconic company “[a]s diverse as we could possible be as a brand and a business, and celebrate diversity and inclusion,” ” he said recently while receiving a leadership award from the globalist organization Synergos. “… I believe in an incredible American icon and the transformation and the opportunity to contribute positively to a very divisive society.”

The DEI practices, which first came to light in their current form following the 2020 race riots and subsequent efforts by corporations to virtue signal their woke values, have faced blowback both from consumers—in the form of boycotts—and from the court systems, particularly following the Supreme Court’s overturning of so-called affirmative action.

While some companies have tried to retain their DEI practices by rebranding them under a different name, Harley–Davidson claimed it was planning to refocus on its core values—namely, selling motorcycles and related paraphernalia.

“It is critical to our business that we hire and retain the best talent and that all employees feel welcome,” the company said. “… As a consumer brand, we will focus exclusively on growing the sport of motorcycling and retaining our loyal riding community, in addition to the support we already provide to first responders, active military members and veterans.”

Starbuck—who previously has called out John Deere, Tractor Supply and other companies who market their products to conservative demographics—celebrated the announcement this week as a win for the larger movement to abolish wokeness in corporate America.

“We have a movement to bring down DEI and wokeism in corporate America and inject some sanity back into the workplace,” Starbuck said, according to Fox News.

“Corporations can’t ignore our movement anymore. They have to take us seriously,” he added. “They made this statement because we’re obviously having an impact on their customer base.”

New Purported Footage of Trump Shooter Undermines ‘Official’ Timeline of Events

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) A video posted Monday by an anonymous social media account named “IronClad_USA” appears to show Thomas Crooks strolling around the Butler, Pennsylvania campaign rally site nearly two hours before he attempted to assassinate Donald Trump.

Along with providing perhaps the best view of Crooks to date, the footage undermines a timeline put together by congressional investigators, which is based on information from law enforcement. That’s because the footage seemingly shows Crooks on the opposite the oppositive side of the Trump rally site from where he was initially thought to be.

Indeed, local Butler and Beaver County law enforcement text messages, including one text from a local counter sniper at 4:26 p.m., claiming that Crooks was sitting on the picnic table near the AGR building he would eventually use to shoot at Trump.

The problem with the sniper’s 4:26 p.m. text message, as the new footage suggests, is that was the same exact time Crooks was apparently filmed walking through the vendors section, which was on the opposite end of the site from the AGR building.

For some internet sleuths, the footage of Crooks means that the local sniper must have been lying when he texted at 4:26 p.m. that Crooks was sitting on a picnic table.

However, others questioned the timing of the new footage release. Sleuths have also noted that the account posting the footage hasn’t released the original video. Instead, it’s edited to include the poster’s watermark.

Still others are less interested in Crooks than they are a man walking several feet in front of him, dressed in a button-down T-shirt and slacks.

Neither congressional investigators nor federal or local law enforcement agency have commented on the new footage yet. Headline USA is leaving open the possibility that the footage is entirely doctored, though it appears to be authentic.

In any event, Crooks was back near the AGR building by 5:38 p.m., according to the local snipers’ text messages.

“Kid [lurking] around building we are in. AGR I believe it is. I did see him with a range finder looking towards stage. FYI. If you wanna notify SS snipers to look out. I lost sight of him,” a counter sniper texted at 5:38 p.m., attaching two photos of Crooks.

“Call it in to command and have a uniform check it out.”

What happened between the time of those texts and when Crooks opened fire at 6:11 p.m. is still unclear.

DHS Can’t Account for Untold Number of Unaccompanied Migrant Children, IG Finds

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) DHS Inspector General Joseph Cuffari released a shocking report Tuesday on the status of nearly 500,000 unaccompanied migrant children who’ve entered the country since around 2019, finding that Immigration and Customs Enforcement can’t account for an untold number of them.

According to the DHS IG, ICE has apprehended 448,820 unaccompanied migrant children since 2019.

Once ICE apprehends those children, the agency transfers them to the Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement. The HHS ORR is then supposed to find shelter for those children as they go through immigration court proceedings.

However, more than 32,000 unaccompanied minors have failed to show up to their court dates—and ICE can’t account for all of them, according to the DHS IG. The DHS IG also found that ICE hasn’t served notices for more than 291,000 unaccompanied minors to appear for court—meaning that many of them could be unaccounted for, too.

IG Cuffari explained the importance of the court dates: He said they are often the only chance ICE officials have to check on the status of the unaccompanied minors, to make sure the shelter or sponsor they’re staying with is treating them well.

“[Unaccompanied children] who do not appear for court are considered at higher risk for trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor,” Cuffari said in his report.

“[Immigration court] staff may be the only ICE officials [unaccompanied children[ ever see in person, and this touchpoint only occurs if the UCs are served [notices to appear] and appear for their hearings.”

Bizarelly, Cuffari further said that ICE officials have little authority over unaccompanied children once their proceedings are underway, other than to help manage their immigration cases.

“Therefore, even if ICE were to identify UCs in unsafe conditions, the agency has limited authority to respond. ICE personnel at two field offices affirmed this and explained they had identified UCs in unsafe conditions but were unable to intervene,” Cuffari said.

“One ICE officer expressed concern with not being able to take action in a case involving a UC whose sponsor claimed the [unaccompanied minor] was in an inappropriate relationship with her husband.”

Cuffari recommended that the DHS implements guidelines to better track unaccompanied migrant children.

The DHS concurred with the recommendations, though the agency did take issue with some of the IG’s findings. Namely, the DHS said it hasn’t served notices for children to appear in court because many of those children haven’t been transferred to shelters. The DHS said it usually waits for children to be placed in a shelter or with a sponsor—that way, the court proceedings don’t have to restart in another jurisdiction once a child is moved, the agency explained.

The Donald Trump campaign released a statement in response to the IG report.

“The report found widespread failures and breakdowns within the Harris-Biden administration, including the lack of a “formal policy or process” to manage unaccompanied children, “limited oversight” of the programs, and non-existent internal communication protocols,” the campaign said.

“All of this has resulted in an epidemic of missing children under Harris-Biden—where the most vulnerable among us are left to suffer the inhumanity of their open borders obsession.”

The DHS IG report follows shocking HHS whistleblower disclosures about what they described as “taxpayer-funded child slavery” being conducted with the government’s full knowledge and tacit consent. Those disclosures include shocking allegations that the HHS sent at least two unaccompanied migrant children to homes with ties to the El Salvadoran gang, La Mara Salvatrucha, more commonly known as MS-13.

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, is working with the HHS whistleblowers on his own investigation.
