Tucker Carlson to Host President Trump in Grand Finale of His Tour

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Political commentator Tucker Carlson added one final stop at the Desert Diamond Area in Glendale, Arizona to his live tour—and he will be joined by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

The Tucker Carlson Live Tour will conclude on Halloween — just five days before Election Day on Nov. 5. The Trump campaign released an email blast Thursday announcing Carlson’s surprise grand finale.

“To cap off the live tour, where he promised to discuss the big things that actually matter to the country, Tucker Carlson is hosting the most consequential guest of all: 45th President and current frontrunner Donald J. Trump,” the email said.

All profits made from Carlson’s live interview with Trump will be donated to victims of hurricanes Milton and Helene, according to the Trump campaign’s email.

Carlson was forced to cancel one of his appearances—in Greenville, S.C.—as Helene bore down in the last weekend of September, catching many in the Appalachian region by surprise and devastating parts of Tennessee and western North Carolina.

On Monday, Trump visited Swannanoa, N.C., one of the impacted towns, where he slammed the weak response from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, a Democrat.

Trump has set up a GoFundMe in support of the hurricane relief effort that already has raised nearly $8 million.

Tickets for the Oct. 31 event went on sale for the public Thursday at 10 a.m., while Tucker Carlson Network members were able to buy tickets as early as Wednesday at 9 a.m.

Meanwhile, Carlson delivered a speech Wednesday evening at Trump’s rally in Duluth, Georgia. The conservative firebrand ripped the Biden–Harris administration on illegal immigration, warning Democrats will receive a “spanking” from father Trump if he wins back the White House.

“The Democratic Party is the home of weirdos, bitterness, envy, hate, and conformity,” Carlson wrote on X with video of his 19-minute speech.

“It’s the enemy of freedom and creativity,” he continued. “It only destroys. Now is our last chance to stop the machine. Donald Trump is the only answer.”

Carlson’s tour consisted of 15 shows across the U.S., featuring special guests including actor Russell Brand, Sirius XM’s Megyn Kelly, former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii.

‘I Saw His Dark Side’: Doug Emhoff’s Ex-Girlfriend Confirms Abuse Allegations

(Headline USA) Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s ex-girlfriend confirmed this week that he violently struck her following a gala dinner at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival and blasted Emhoff for creating a “completely fabricated persona.”

The woman, a New York attorney identified as “Jane” by the Daily Mail, said she was left “embarrassed and humiliated” when Emhoff lashed out at her. She allegedly had been trying to hand a valet cash so they could leave the event when Emhoff hit her.

“As I’m talking to him, Doug got out of the line, comes up, turns me around by my right shoulder,” she told the outlet.

“I’m completely caught off guard, I’m not bracing, I’m in four inch heels, wearing a full-length gown, and it’s between 2-3 a.m.,” she continued. “He slaps me so hard I spin around, and I’m in utter shock.”

Previous reports suggested Emhoff’s violent behavior came after he accused his ex-girlfriend of flirting with another man. But “Jane” said, “There had been no fight, no argument.”

She added, “In that moment, his mask had dropped and I saw his dark side.”

Three friends of the victime came forward earlier this month with the allegations against Emhoff.

“Jane” said it has been “frightening” to watch Emhoff portray a “completely fabricated persona” in public life. He’s tried to set himself up as an example of “non-toxic masculinity,” she noted, but that image could not be farther from the truth.

“He’s being held out to be the antithesis of who he actually is. And that is utterly shocking,” she alleged.

A spokesperson for Emhoff has denied the allegations of abuse, telling Semafor, “Any suggestion that he would or has ever hit a woman is false.”

Both “Jane” and her current husband are registered Democrats who backed President Joe Biden in the 2020 campaign and even donated more than $10,000 to his campaign, according to the Daily Mail.

Biden himself faced a credible abuse allegation from Tara Reade, a former staffer in his Senate office who said he had digitally penetrated her against her will. Other allegations of his inappropriate conduct around women and girls have long simmered beneath the surface.

Kamala Harris to Bring Out Beyoncé for Texas Rally

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris plans to bring former Destiny’s Child star Beyoncé Knowles onstage Friday at a rally in Texas, a person familiar with planning the event told CNN.

The A-lister, who snubbed the Democratic National Convention, despite a rumored appearance, arrives as Harris’s campaign grows increasingly desperate for any type of traction with its momentum having ground to an abrupt halt.

Harris has relied on rally appearances from an array of celebrities to boost her appeal, including those from scandal-ridden rapper Lizzo, the Diddy-connected Usher, and “Wet Ass P***y” songstress Megan Thee Stallion.

Beyoncé, whose song “Freedom” was consensually adopted by Harris as her campaign entrance theme, will appear with the vice president in what is considered to be part of her closing act, CNN reported.

The “Cowboy Carter” artist will share the stage in Houston with country singer Willie Nelson, according to the outlet.

The Harris campaign has worked to secure Beyoncé’s appearance since the vice president replaced President Joe Biden on July 21, CNN reported. Rumors of Beyoncé’s potential appearance hit a fever pitch during the DNC convention in August, but the famous singer was not the “surprise” performance as teased.

The Washington Post’s Tyler Page first reported on Beyoncé planned appearance in a post on X, citing “people familiar.”

Beyoncé has historically been supportive of Democrats, including former President Barack Obama, failed 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, and the Biden–Harris ticket in 2020.

Harris’s remarks in Houston will focus on abortion, a senior campaign official told CNN. The vice president also plans to amp up the rhetoric characterizing her political opponent, Republican nominee Donald Trump, as a threat to women who want an abortion.

Democrat Senate candidate Colin Allred, who is challenging Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, for his seat, will join Harris for a get-out-the-vote effort while she is in Houston, CNN reported.

Podcaster Brené Brown will also interview Harris in Texas—the same day Trump is scheduled to sit down with podcast host Joe Rogan for a highly-anticipated conversation.

FBI Promotes Dog Killer to Assistant Director of Science & Tech Branch

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) In February 2023, Jacqueline Maguire, the FBI’s special agent in charge of its Philadelphia office, shot and killed a dog while she was off-duty on a busy downtown street.

Maguire’s career has seemingly skyrocketed ever since.

Not only did law enforcement decline to press charges against Maguire last year; the FBI decided to promote her to be the bureau’s Assistant Director of the Training Division, according to former FBI agent Kyle Seraphin, who announced news in August 2023.

Maguire’s stint at the training division was short lived. On Thursday, the FBI announced that she’s landed another senior position, this one helping lead the Science and Technology Branch.

“Director Christopher Wray has named Jacqueline Maguire as the executive assistant director of the Science and Technology Branch. Ms. Maguire most recently served as the assistant director of the Training Division,” the FBI announced Thursday.

The FBI included other biographical details about Maguire—but didn’t mention that she’s killed a dog.

“Ms. Maguire joined the FBI as a special agent in 2000, joining the New York Field Office as a member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force. She was the lead agent for the investigation of the five hijackers of American Airlines Flight 77 after the 9/11 terror attacks,” the FBI said Thursday.

“Prior to joining the FBI, Ms. Maguire worked at the Office of the Medical Examiner in Suffolk County, New York. She earned a bachelor’s degree in comprehensive science from Villanova University, a master’s degree in criminal justice from Long Island University, and a master’s degree in homeland defense and security from the Naval Postgraduate School.”

Maguire shot the dog, a pit bull, with her service weapon on Feb. 21, 2023.

Jane Roh, a spokesperson for the District Attorney’s Office, reportedly told the Philadelphia Inquirer that surveillance footage of the shooting showed that Maguire was sitting on a bench near The Touraine apartment complex with her dog, when the pit bull, a 7-year-old named Mia, “rushed forward” and pulled Maguire’s dog off of her lap.

Maguire responded by pulling out her weapon and firing at the dog.

Mia and her owner, Maria Esser, were reportedly taken to an emergency medical facility, where the pit bull later died, according to Philly Voice.

“There is no justice,” Esser told CBS. “My dog has been taken from me. Something that should’ve been preventable. Something that should’ve never happened.”

The shooting sparked scrutiny and criticism over Maguire’s use of force against the pit bull, who was described by the FBI as an “aggressive dog.”

Regardless of whether the pit bull was attacking Maguire’s dog, Seraphin noted that the FBI agent had no right to draw and fire her service weapon.

“There is no provision to defend your dog with the weapon you are issued by the FBI and you are required to use it in accordance the DOJ’s policies on Deadly Force,” he said.

‘Not Perfect’: Kamala Gives an Ultra-Cringy Response to Dreaded Job-Interview Question

(Julianna Frieman, Headline USA) Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris was asked a notoriously dreaded job-interview question Wednesday evening during a CNN townhall: What is your greatest weakness?

The male questioner listened attentively from his place in the audience as Harris struggled to describe her weaknesses and how she would overcome them.

“That’s a great question, Joe. Well, I am certainly am not perfect. Let’s start there,” Harris began with a chuckle.

“I think that, I, perhaps a weakness, some would say— but I actually think it’s a strength,” she said, scrunching up her face, “I really do value having a team of very smart people around me who bring to my decision-making process different perspectives.”

Harris told the questioner she constantly tells her team, “Let’s kick the tire on that.”

CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked the vice president a similar question about learning from past mistakes, to which Harris—who took a moment before speaking—had difficulty providing a clear answer to as well.

“I mean, I’ve made many mistakes. And they range from, you know, if you’ve ever parented a child, you know you make lots of mistakes,” Harris, who never gave birth to a child of her own, said with nervous laughter.

Harris is married to Doug Emhoff, who has a 25-year-old daughter, Ella, and a 30-year-old son, Cole, from his previous marriage of 16 years. The Democrat nominee tied the knot with Emhoff in August 2014.

“In my role as vice president, I mean, I’ve probably worked very hard at making sure that I am well-versed on issues. And, um, I think that is very important. It’s a mistake not to be well-versed on an issue and be compelled to answer a question,” Harris said with a smirk.

Florida Sues DOJ for Obstructing State Investigation into 2nd Trump Assassination Attempt

(Headline USA) Florida sued the Biden administration’s Justice Department this week for allegedly blocking the state’s investigation into the second assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody said the DOJ has “frustrated” the state’s efforts to get to the bottom of the assassination attempt “at every turn.”

The lawsuit, filed on Wednesday in federal court, accuses the DOJ of preventing Florida officials from interviewing witnesses, pursuing state-level charges against the attempted assassin, Ryan Routh, and conducting their own parallel probe.

The DOJ may be withholding massive amounts of evidence. According to a recent federal court filing, investigators have amassed some 10 terabytes of evidence in Routh’s case.

“Every day that Florida is prevented from investigating, the State’s case becomes harder to prove at trial,” documents read.

The assassination attempt took place at Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course in September. Secret Service agents opened fire on Routh, who had been hiding in shrubbery near the course. He was later apprehended and is facing multiple federal charges.

“The attempted assassination on the former president is a heinous act,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said at the time. “I am grateful that he is safe, and as I said immediately after the event, the Justice Department will spare no resource to ensure accountability.”

However, Moody said the DOJ has been deliberately withholding resources from Florida.

“Governor [Ron] DeSantis was very clear he wanted Florida to move forward with an independent investigation of state crimes, working with the federal government, of course. But he felt that was in the best interest of the state, our sovereignty, and for the American people, as there are concerns that the same federal agencies investigating the assassination attempt are the ones that are seeking to go after and prosecute the president, the victim in this case,” Moody told Fox News.

Instead of working with Florida, the Justice Department has gone so far as to threaten “suspending state jurisdiction, which would indefinitely put our investigation on hold,” she explained. “We don’t believe the law supports that.”

DOJ Declined to Prosecute U.S. Attorney Who Was Sexting w/ Criminal Suspect

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The DOJ Inspector General released a report Wednesday about how a federal prosecutor had a sexual relationship with the target of a police investigation.

According to the report, the DOJ-OIG received information from a local police department that a U.S. Attorney used his government-issued mobile device to engage in extensive, sexually explicit communications with someone who later became the target of a police investigation.

The DOJ-OIG said its investigation substantiated the local police department’s tip.

“The AUSA exchanged numerous inappropriate, sexually-explicit and sexually-oriented text messages with the individual using the AUSA’s government-issued mobile device, in violation of DOJ policy and federal ethics regulations. The OIG also found that the AUSA left the AUSA’s office during work hours for a sexual encounter with the individual, in violation of federal ethics regulations,” the DOJ-OIG said.

“The OIG concluded that the AUSA engaged in conduct prejudicial to the government and created the appearance of violating the law by continuing to interact with the individual, including by using the AUSA’s government-issued device, after the individual had provided indications to the AUSA that the individual was engaged in illegal activity.”

Despite the federal prosecutor’s seemingly illegal activity, the DOJ declined to prosecute him, according to the DOJ-OIG, which provided its findings to the DOJ’s Professional Misconduct Review Unit for “appropriate action.”

Wednesday’s report was the latest DOJ-OIG revelation about sexual misconduct within the DOJ and FBI.

According to a 2020 Associated Press article entitled, ‘Under the rug:’ Sexual misconduct shakes FBI’s senior ranks, the last time the OIG did an extensive probe of sexual misconduct within the FBI, it tallied 343 “offenses” from fiscal years 2009 to 2012, including three instances of “videotaping undressed women without consent.”

That AP investigation identified at least six sexual misconduct allegations involving senior FBI officials over the past five years, including two new claims brought by women who say they were sexually assaulted by ranking agents.

“Each of the accused FBI officials appears to have avoided discipline, the AP found, and several were quietly transferred or retired, keeping their full pensions and benefits even when probes substantiated the sexual misconduct claims against them,” the AP reported in December 2020.

Trump Says He’d Fire Special Counsel Jack Smith ‘Within 2 Seconds’ after Taking Office

(Headline USA) Donald Trump said Thursday that if he wins the White House again, he will fire partisan and arguably illegitimate special counsel Jack Smith “within two seconds” of taking office.

Trump was asked during an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt whether he would first pardon himself or terminate Smith to remove the legal cloud hanging over him.

“It’s so easy. I would fire him within two seconds,” Trump responded. “He’ll be one of the first things addressed.”

Smith, who was dubiously appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland in 2022, has charged the former president over his efforts to overturn the 2020 election and his mishandling of classified documents.

However, the classified documents case was dismissed earlier this year by Judge Aileen Cannon after she determined, among other things, that Smith may not have been legitimately appointed as special counsel since he was not vetted or approved by Congress, violating the customary protocol.

Instead, Garland plucked the former Obama Justice Department attorney from a role at The Hague, in Europe, although his reputation as a highly political prosecutor willing to play fast and loose with the law in an “ends-justifies-the-means” approach had proceeded him in at least two high-profile Obama-era cases, neither of which ended well for Smith.

He was widely panned, yet again—along with partisan D.C. District Judge Tanya Chutkan—for refiling an amended complaint against Trump in the Jan. 6 case  in order to effectively push derogatory information ahead of the election after failing to bring his case to trial in time.

The case was met with delays when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Trump and other presidents could be afforded immunity for acts that they undertook in an official capacity—effectively rebuking Smith for his overreach and Chutkan for her haste to rush it to trial without considering the legal merits.

Trump, who regularly assails Smith and has suggested before that he would fire him if he were president, called Smith a “crooked person.”

Although Trump probably would not be able to do it on his own because Smith is not a presidential appointee, he could order the Justice Department to remove Smith.

In fact, several recent reports indicated that Cannon—the judge who deemed Smith to be illegitimate—was on Trump’s shortlist for prospective attorney generals.

“We had a brave, brilliant judge in Florida,” Trump said in the interview with Hewitt.

“She’s a brilliant judge, by the way,” he continued. “I don’t know her. I never spoke to her. Never spoke to her. But we had a brave and very brilliant judge.”

During his first term as president, while being investigated by special counsel Robert Mueller as part of the Russia-collusion hoax—which later proved to have been largely cooked up by the Hillary Clinton campaign, in coordination with the FBI and others—Trump urged his then-White House counsel, Don McGahn, to press the Justice Department to terminate Mueller. McGahn refused.

After Trump said he would fire Smith, Hewitt raised the possibility that a Democrat-led House could, once again, impeach Trump over that move. Trump said he did not believe that would happen.

“I don’t think they’ll impeach me if I fire Jack Smith,” Trump said. “Jack Smith is a scoundrel.”

As intended, Democrat Kamala Harris’s campaign has sought to use innuendo from Smith’s lawfare attack on Trump against the Republican candidate. They released an ad earlier this month that featured video from the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol and headlines from Smith’s investigation.

“He knew what he was doing,” the ad shows on screen.

Much of the information that has been publicly released from Smith’s complaint has been carefully curated and cherrypicked to create a particular narrative, similar to the highly partisan House Jan. 6 Committee hearings that preceded the 2022 midterm elections.

Biden-Harris Administration Gave ‘Quiet Amnesty’ to 1 Million Illegals, House GOP Finds

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The Biden-Harris administration has allowed some 1 million illegal immigrants to remain in the country indefinitely due to its slew of immigration court case dismissals, terminations and other “administrative maneuvering,” according to a new report from the House Judiciary Committee—deeming the scandal as “quiet amnesty.”

According to Thursday’s Judiciary Committee report, more than 700,000 illegal aliens have had their cases dismissed, terminated, or administratively closed—which has allowed those migrants to stay in the country indefinitely without facing immigration consequences.

Additionally, the Judiciary report found that 109,089 asylum cases as “not adjudicated” in fiscal year 2023—meaning that those cases were deemed “completed” but were largely terminated or dismissed and not adjudicated on the merits of the underlying claim.

“By comparison, only 12,960 total asylum cases were reported as ‘not adjudicated’ from fiscal year 2017 through fiscal year 2020 combined,” the Judiciary report noted.

Along with the 700,000 dismissed cases and roughly 110,000 cases “not adjudicated,” the Department of Homeland Security failed to file the necessary documentation to begin immigration court removal proceedings in roughly 200,000 additional cases—putting the total number of aliens that remain in the U.S. indefinitely at about 1 million, according to Thursday’s Judiciary report.

Along with its shoddy immigration lawyering, the Biden-Harris has worked to silence immigration judges who’ve spoken out about the ongoing scandal, according to the Judiciary report.

“Chief Immigration Judge Sheila McNulty ordered certain current immigration judges ‘to get supervisor approval to speak publicly to anyone outside the Justice Department,’ in an effort to silence critics of the ‘heavily backlogged immigration courts,’” the report said.

“For nearly four years, the Biden-Harris Administration has systematically remade America’s immigration courts in the image of open-borders extremism,” the report concluded.

“In weaponizing both immigration judges within the Justice Department and ICE attorneys within DHS, the Biden-Harris Administration has guaranteed that upward of 1 million aliens—the overwhelming majority of whom likely would otherwise not have a legal basis to remain in the United States—can stay in the country indefinitely.”

Indian Gold Demand Slowed in September But Remained Strong

(Mike Maharrey, Money Metals News Service) Indian gold demand slowed somewhat in September but already appears to be on the rebound.

Gold demand surged this summer after the Indian government cut taxes on gold and silver imports by more than half, lowering duties from 15 percent to 6 percent. The domestic gold price fell 6 percent month-on-month after the lower duty went into effect, even as the dollar price of gold increased. As expected, the government’s move spurred a big jump in gold demand.

India ranks as the second-biggest gold-consuming country in the world, behind China.

Demand slowed somewhat last month as the gold price continued to climb. By the end of September, international prices were up by 5 percent. Domestic gold prices mirrored this upward trend and eclipsed the pre-import duty levels.

September and early October are also an “inauspicious” period in the Hindu calendar, meaning a lot of people put off purchases of valuable items. Inauspicious periods generally put a drag on gold demand as jewelry sales drop off.

Analysts at the World Gold Council expect demand to rebound as we head into the next festival season.

There is also an expectation of increased demand in rural areas as the harvest comes in. A good monsoon season means higher crop yields and more money in farmers’ pockets. Indians tend to store and protect their wealth with gold.

Even as overall demand sagged somewhat last month, investment demand for gold bars and coins remained strong. According to the World Gold Council, the rise in gold prices and expectations of further increases fueled investment demand.

Reflecting investment bullishness, there was significant growth in Indian gold ETF investment last month.

Substantial inflows of gold into Indian funds coupled with higher gold prices pushed cumulative assets under management (AUM) for Indian gold ETFs to a record ₹398 billion (US$4.7bn). It was a 7 percent increase month on month and a 67 percent rise from a year ago.

With the dip in demand, gold imports moderated last month from the unprecedented levels reported in August. The World Gold Council estimates India imported between 55 and 57 tons of gold in September, totaling $4.4 billion. This was down from 136 tons imported in August. Even so, the dollar total was still far above the average of $3.2 billion in gold imports through the first half of 2024.

From January to August, gold imports increased by 27 percent on an annual basis, totaling $37 billion. In volume terms, the WGC estimates the increase was around 6 percent — approximately 540 tons.

Indians have historically had an affinity for gold. Indian households own an estimated 25,000 tons of gold, and that likely understates the amount given the large black market in the country. Gold is deeply interwoven into the country’s marriage ceremonies and cultural rituals. Indians have long valued the yellow metal as a store of wealth, especially in poorer rural regions. Around two-thirds of India’s gold demand comes from beyond the urban centers, where large numbers of people operate outside the tax system.

Gold isn’t considered a luxury in India. Even poor Indians buy gold. According to a 2018 ICE 360 survey, one in every two households in India had purchased gold within the last five years. Overall, 87 percent of Indian households own some gold. Even households at the lowest income levels in India hold some of the yellow metal. According to the survey, more than 75 percent of families in the bottom 10 percent of income managed to buy some gold.

The yellow metal was a lifeline for Indians buffeted by the economic storm caused by the government’s response to COVID-19. After the Indian government locked down the country, banks tightened credit to mitigate the default risk. Unable to secure traditional loans, Indians used gold to secure financing. As Indians endured a second wave of lockdowns, many Indians resorted to selling gold outright to make ends meet.
