Gunman Allegedly Yelled ‘Free Palestine’ before Shooting up New Hampshire Country Club

(Headline USA) A gunman allegedly yelled “Free Palestine!” before opening fire in a New Hampshire country club on Saturday as a wedding was taking place, killing one person and wounding two others.

The person who died at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua was a 59-year-old man identified as Robert Steven DeCesare, according to New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella and Nashua Police Chief Kevin Rourke.

Authorities identified the suspect as Hunter Nadeau, age 23, and said he had been arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder for knowingly shooting DeCesare.

“Additional charges likely will be brought, including for the additional shooting victims,” Formella and Rourke said in a statement. They said they expect Nadeau to be arraigned at the Ninth Circuit Court in Nashua on Monday.

Authorities had initially thought there could be two shooters but later said that was mistaken and there was only one. Police said there was no further danger to the public.

Investigators were still working to determine a motive, New Hampshire Senior Assistant Attorney General Peter Hinckley said.

Information on the wounded victims’ conditions was not immediately available.

Tom Bartelson of Pepperell, Massachusetts, who was at the country club, described a chaotic scene that unfolded near his nephew’s wedding. He said he heard the shooter say “the children are safe” and “free Palestine” and appeared to be targeting someone.

“Getting together for a dance for the bride and groom and then all chaos went off,” he said. “We heard about six shots and everybody ducked for cover and next thing you know we’re rushed into safe spots and things like that.”

He said some people dropped to the ground and attempted to get away from the scene. There was a lot of panic, he said.

“We were trying to keep family members safe,” he said. “Keep everybody down and try to find safe spots.”

The mother of DeCesare, the man who was killed, had earlier described not being able to find her son after he was shot.

“He went down. My daughter in law and granddaughter escaped … They saw my son go down and they saw blood,” the mother, Evie O’Rourke of Salem, New Hampshire, said.

Emily Ernst, who was at the scene, said she saw a gunman in all black.

“He had a mask on. We just saw him raise the gun and then we ran,” Ernst said. “I ran through the kitchen for my life.”

Aerial video from WMUR-TV showed multiple emergency responders heading to the scene. Later, Nashua Mayor Jim Donchess said he had faith in police to “get to the bottom of this and bring the perpetrator to justice.”

He added: “I think the message is for every community out there is that no matter how unlikely it seems it can happen where you live.”

U.S. Rep. Maggie Goodlander said in a statement that she was “closely monitoring the tragic reports of a shooting tonight at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua” and that her heart was with the victims, their families and the community.

Nashua is about 45 miles northwest of Boston, just across the Massachusetts border.

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) An attempt by paid Democrat social-media “influencer” Olivia Julianna to organize a school walkout in support of Jimmy Kimmel immediately backfired after people noticed one key detail about the timing.

The 22-year-old activist, who gained fame in 2022 after being body-shamed by then-Rep. Matt Gaetz, has been open about her lifelong struggle with obesity, saying in July that she was down 60 pounds since 2021 after having topped the scales at 370 pounds.

Nonetheless, at north of 300, Julianna’s weight has been a target for attacks and ridicule—particularly after she was appointed by the Democratic National Committee to become its ambassador for young, white, male voter outreach.

After pouring an estimated $20 million into its “Speaking with American Men” campaign, the DNC seemingly abandoned its outreach efforts in July, focusing instead on eliminating conservative influencers like Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

Kirk’s assassination on Sept. 10 led many leftists to celebrate and mock victims of political violence, including then-ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.

ABC pulled the show indefinitely following Kimmel’s crass commentary about the assassination, during which he falsely claimed that Kirk’s killer was “MAGA” in violation of policies established by the Federal Communications Commission.

Leftists proceeded to declare themselves the victims of cancel culture and censorship—including Julianna, who called for a school walkout after the news broke on Wednesday.

But the 12 p.m. timing raised suspicions for some, who pointed to the fact that she was asking students to skip lunch.

Others encouraged Julianna to follow her own advice and do more walking.

The call for students to forgo nourishment in solidarity with Kimmel appears to have fallen on deaf ears, perhaps due in part to Kimmel’s lack of popularity among young audiences.

In the key target demographic of 18- to 49-year-old viewers, Kimmel reportedly drew only 129,000 viewers in August—a far cry from his heyday as a popular host of “The Man Show” from 1999 to 2004.

According to social media accounts, this isn’t the first time that Julianna has ineffectively threatened a “hunger strike” to put pressure on social issues. She previously called for one in February to protest the reduction in funding to USAID.

Julianna responded gamefully to mockery, suggesting that she had lost 50 pounds directly as a result of the Trump administration.

However, some fact-checkers pointed to a blog post in which she acknowledged having gone on Ozempic.

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) An unhinged man opened fire Friday at an ABC affiliate station in Sacramento, California, just days after the left and Democratic Party figures criticized ABC and Disney for the “indefinite suspension” of Jimmy Kimmel Live! 

The suspect, 64-year-old Anibal Hernandez Santana, was arrested Saturday on charges of using a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building and negligent discharge of a firearm, the Sacramento Police Department announced on X. 

Santana allegedly fired shots outside ABC10’s headquarters, targeting the building’s lobby through a window. No one was injured, though multiple individuals were inside at the time. 

“Fortunately, we haven’t had a lot of attacks on our media partners,” SPD spokesperson Anthony Gamble said. “We would like to keep it that way. This is unacceptable behavior.”  Gamble claimed that Hernandez Santana’s motive remains unclear. 

The shooting came a day after a group of hecklers protested outside ABC10, demanding ABC lift Kimmel’s suspension over his controversial comments implying that Charlie Kirk’s accused murderer is a Republican. Top Democratic officials also attacked ABC and its parent company, Disney, for the suspension.  

Kimmel drew criticism after the Media Research Center shared a clip of his Monday show, where he said: “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.” 

Following these remarks, Nexstar and Sinclair, owners of several ABC affiliates, announced they would not air Jimmy Kimmel Live! indefinitely. Disney CEO Robert Iger and Disney Entertainment Co-Chair Dana Walden then responded to the affiliates’ decision by halting the show entirely.

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) An Arizona man was arrested and charged with impersonating a police officer after allegedly bringing a weapon and a knife to the venue hosting Charlie Kirk’s memorial service on Sunday.

The suspect, Joshua Runkles, reportedly claimed he had been hired by Turning Point USA to work security at State Farm Arena in Glendale, Arizona. He presented a badge and law enforcement credentials when questioned by an officer with the Arizona Department of Public Safety on Saturday.

DPS officials reportedly told Runkles that any third-party security must be approved by local law enforcement in advance and that guns were prohibited at the venue, 12News, an NBC affiliate, reported Saturday.

Despite the warning, Runkles was later spotted by the U.S. Secret Service on the club-side level of the venue. A DPS official confirmed that he was the same individual who had been warned hours earlier.

He was charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer, a class 6 felony, and carrying a weapon into a prohibited place, a class 1 misdemeanor, but was later released on bond.

According to 12News, Turning Point USA clarified that Runkles had been retained by a known guest planning to attend the event.

“We do not believe this person was attempting anything nefarious, however the advance was not done in proper coordination with the TPUSA security team or US Secret Service,” the conservative group said, according to 12News. “Also important to note that this was before the site had been fully sealed and locked down. Every precaution is being taken to ensure everyone’s safety.”

Kirk’s memorial is expected to be attended by hundreds of known Republican figures, including President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and others.

Alleged Would-be Trump Assassin Says Prosecutors Haven’t Proven Their Case

(Headline USA) A man accused of trying to assassinate President Donald Trump at his Florida golf course last year told a federal judge on Friday that prosecutors haven’t proven that an assassination attempt occurred. But the judge denied his motion for acquittal, meaning jurors will eventually decide the man’s fate.

Prosecutors rested their case against Ryan Routh Friday afternoon following testimony from 38 witnesses over seven days. After jurors were dismissed for the weekend, Routh, who is representing himself, made a motion for acquittal directly to U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon on four of the five counts against him, excluding the charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Prosecutors have said Routh spent weeks plotting to kill Trump before aiming a rifle through the shrubbery as Trump played golf on Sept. 15, 2024, at his West Palm Beach country club.

Routh has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to assassinate a major presidential candidate, assaulting a federal officer and several firearm violations.

Routh argued Friday afternoon that prosecutors haven’t proven any attempt to assassinate Trump.

“They maybe proved that someone was outside the (golf course) fence with a gun, but the gun was never fired,” Routh said.

Routh said the area outside the Trump International Golf Club was a public right of way for a public road, and anyone had a right to be there with a weapon.

Prosecutors responded that Routh took multiple substantial steps in his attempt to kill Trump, including aiming a loaded gun with its safety off through the fence.

“This is as far from peaceful assembly as you can get,” Assistant U.S. Attorney John Shipley said.

Cannon denied Routh’s motion, explaining that a juror could reasonably find that prosecutors had met their burden of proof. That means the next step is for the defense to begin its case Monday morning. Routh has indicated he plans to call three witnesses: a firearms expert and two character witnesses. He hasn’t said whether he plans to testify himself. He told the judge Friday that his case should take about half a day.

Cannon said attorneys should be prepared to deliver their closing arguments on Tuesday, giving each side one hour and 45 minutes. Jurors will begin deliberating after that. Cannon had initially blocked off more than three weeks for the trial at the Fort Pierce federal courthouse, but Routh’s relatively short cross examinations have led to a quicker pace than anticipated.

The prosecution’s final witness spent about six hours over Thursday and Friday tying together about a week’s worth of testimony. FBI Supervisory Special Agent Kimberly McGreevy used cellphone records, location data, text messages, bank records, internet searches, security video and various store receipts to illustrate Routh’s actions and movements over the month prior to the attempted attack and to show that he began trying to acquire a gun, despite being a convicted felon, nearly six months before his arrest.

Evidence showed that Routh traveled to South Florida about a month before the assassination attempt, McGreevy said. He lived out of a black Nissan Xterra, normally parked at a western Palm Beach County truck stop, while routinely traveling to the areas around Palm Beach International Airport, Trump International Golf Course and Trump’s primary residence at Mar-a-Lago, the agent said.

“He was living at that truck stop and conducting physical and electronic surveillance and stalking the president, then-former President Trump,” McGreevy said.

Recounting the alleged attack at the golf course, a Secret Service agent testified last week that he spotted Routh before Trump came into view. Routh aimed his rifle at the agent, who opened fire, causing Routh to drop his weapon and flee without firing a shot, the agent said.

Law enforcement obtained help from a witness who testified that he saw a person fleeing the area after hearing gunshots. The witness was then flown in a police helicopter to a nearby interstate where Routh was arrested, and the witness said he confirmed it was the person he had seen.

(Kyle Anzalone, Antiwar.com) Private discussions between Israeli officials before launching the war against Iran in June indicate that Tehran’s development of nuclear weapons was not an immediate concern. At the time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran’s nuclear program was an immediate threat.

“We are at a historic moment with a crucial decision. If we don’t stop [them], within a few years, they will get tens of thousands of kilograms of [nuclear] explosives,” the Prime Minister said at a top-secret meeting the day before launching the war. “Iran has already enriched fissile material at a level that is enough for eight to nine bombs, and they are working on the weaponization.”

According to The Times of Israel, one unnamed senior military official said the attack would prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon in “the long term” and the war would “improve Israel’s strategic balance.”

Publicly, Netanyahu gave far more alarming warnings about Tehran’s breakout time to build a nuclear weapon. He said, “Iran’s nuclear teams were racing to build nuclear warheads. The Israeli intelligence agency Mossad claimed Iran could assemble a nuclear weapon within 15 days.

The private discussions also reveal that Israeli officials believed that they would not be able to destroy Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium and were depending on Trump entering the conflict. “The basic assumption is that at the end of the operation, Iran will still possess enriched material,” one official said.

Tel Aviv needed the US to destroy the Fordo nuclear facility. One senior official admitted, “Fordo will be destroyed only if the US attacks it.” Setergetic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer was confident that Trump would decide to bomb Fordo and provide Israel with assistance in shooting down Iranian missiles.

The conversations additionally reveal that Tel Aviv was trying to overthrow the Iranian government, not just destroy its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., may throw her hat into the 2028 presidential race if she skips a Senate bid that year, Axios reported Friday.

Ocasio-Cortez has long been touted by legacy media and leftist circles as a potential presidential candidate since she entered Congress in 2018.

If she opts to run for Senate, she would challenge Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who is up for re-election in 2028.

According to Axios, the self-described democratic socialist lawmaker has not made a final decision, though her staffers are already crafting plans.

“This year, Ocasio-Cortez — widely known as AOC — has campaigned across the country and in parts of New York State far from her Bronx and Queens district, all while investing millions to grow her already formidable online presence,” the outlet noted.

The congresswoman has also recruited Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., a two-time failed presidential candidate, “to bolster her operation,” the outlet reported.

One sign that Ocasio-Cortez may be preparing for higher office: she hosted town halls in upstate New York, hundreds of miles from her NYC district.

In Plattsburgh, over 300 miles from New York City, she told attendees she was there “because every town, every city, every neighborhood in this state matters. Every corner matters. No one deserves to be ignored.”

Ocasio-Cortez has invested millions in social media and donor lists to boost fundraising, despite representing one of the most solidly Democratic districts in the country.

Republicans would make hay of a potential Ocasio-Cortez candidacy. The party could highlight her support for radical policies like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal that could alienate independent and moderate voters.

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) The prospect of a nationwide ban on TikTok didn’t deter the popular social-media company from implementing its own bans on videos of lawmakers lamenting the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping were in direct negotiations to prevent a U.S. ban from taking effect ahead of a looming legislative deadline.

Meanwhile, left-wing influencers were using the outlet to spread hatred and vitriol over Kirk’s Sept. 10 killing, allegedly at the hands of a deranged furry enthusiast.

But it was tributes honoring Kirk where TikTok drew the line, the Daily Signal reported.

It accused upstart media company Off The Press of violating “community guidelines” after the outlet posted a series of videos featuring lawmakers like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn.

After two strikes, TikTok reportedly issued a permanent ban for Off The Press. However, it subsequently restored the account, which had nearly 40,000 followers as of Saturday.

“What we’ve seen from TikTok is arbitrary takedowns of important news content, specifically videos of lawmakers making remarks on Capitol Hill,” OTP Managing Editor Julian Baron told the Signal in a statment.

“That cannot be the norm,” he added. “This sends a chilling message about how much control social media companies have over our public discourse and how easily it can be mismanaged or abused.”

Greene’s video urged fellow House members to pray for Kirk on Sept. 10, the day he was shot while speaking to an audience of college students at Utah Valley University.

Murphy’s video indicated he was sending his “thoughts” to Kirk and his family.

Neither appeared to be in violation of community guidelines, and both videos were subsequently restored by TikTok after garnering media attention.

“It was just a video of a lawmaker talking, and TikTok arbitrarily decided that an elected lawmaker speaking about a pertinent news topic is just not allowed,” Baron told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “This is just crazy that these extremely tame videos of lawmakers are getting flagged like this.”

Despite restoring the account and the supposedly offending videos, TikTok promptly issued another takedown (and warning) over a video of First Lady Melania Trump speaking to British schoolchildren.

“It’s problematic because we don’t have this issue on any other social media platform,” Baron said.

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) A massive decline in ratings was likely the true reason behind the recent “cancellation” of ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, despite Democrats’ disinformation campaign attempting to blame President Donald Trump.

Leftists, including former President Barack Obama, offered up performative outrage over a perceived assault on First Amendment rights following Kimmel’s indefinite suspension on Wednesday.

The decision coincided with Kimmel’s crass remarks blaming “MAGA” supporters for the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The false claim caught the attention of Brendan Carr, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, who threatened consequences against network distributors over the harmful remarks.

Although the FCC action fell within the scope of its authority—and echoed many past examples of Democrats using government pressure to silence conservatives—the backlash quickly became a storyline unto itself, with leftist media using it to push Kirk’s death out of the news cycle.

Among those calling for boycotts of parent company Disney was one of its Marvel stars, She-Hulk actress Tatiana Maslany.

Former Disney CEO Michael Eisner also weighed in, clutching his pearls over the “out-of-control intimidation.” But other X users slammed him for his hypocrisy, pointing to Eisner’s own efforts to appease China following the release of Kundun, a 1997 Disney film about the Dalai Lama.

Ironically, many conservatives also have boycotted the entertainment giant over prior instances of woke virtue-signaling and cancel culture—including its decision to fire Mandalorian actress Gina Carano.

Rumors circulated on Saturday that Kimmel might be in discussions with corporate executives to resume his show following the pressure campaign.

Meanwhile, conservatives fired back, presenting evidence that Disney already had been considering pulling the plug on Kimmel due to a massive decline in ratings and viewership.

“Jimmy Kimmel was fired because he had bad ratings more than anything else,” Trump told reporters on Thursday, according to Fox News.

Further analysis suggested that Kimmel’s viewership over the past 10 years had fallen 37%—from 2.4 million in 2015 to 1.6 million in 2025—a net loss of around 800,000.

The loss was most noticeable in key demographics of adults under 50, where reports put Kimmel’s viewership as low as 129,000 in August.

Fox reported the average viewership in the demo to be 177,000.

Kimmel’s abysmal ratings in a prime slot on a major network nonetheless put him below niche late-night shows such as the E! network’s “Chelsea Lately” and CBS’s “The Arsenio Hall Show.”

The downward trend comes as other major-network shows in the time slot have faced similar declines, including Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show on NBC and the CBS show hosted by Stephen Colbert.

Colbert announced that he was being cancelled earlier this year—a decision likewise credited both to his low ratings and possible pressure from the Trump administration.

Critics have blamed the hosts’ decisions to go woke, leading to the emergence of more conservative-friendly alternatives like Greg Gutfeld’s industry-dominating late-night show on Fox News.

Trump Is Preparing a $6 Billion Arms Package for Israel

(Kyle Anzalone, Libertarian Institute) The White House informed Congress that it is preparing a massive arms sale to Israel, including attack helicopters and military vehicles. The weapons will be paid for with US military aid.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the total value of the weapons deal is $6 billion. The sale is $3.8 billion for 30 AH-64 Apache helicopters and $1.9 billion deal for 3,250 infantry assault vehicles.

Washington will pay for the arms with foreign military financing. The US provides Israel with at least $3.8 billion in military aid annually. Washington boosted assistance to Tel Aviv following the October 7 Hamas attack. In the first year of the Israeli onslaught in Gaza, the US sent Israel nearly $18 billion in aid. The weapons will begin arriving in Israel in two to three years.

The report of the package follows Israel’s attempt to assassinate Hamas leadership in Qatar. The strikes angered Doha, a major non-NATO US ally. Qatar has also committed to investing $1 trillion in the US economy and gifted Trump a luxury aircraft.

Additionally, the assassination attempt prevented Trump from initiating talks to end the war in Gaza and free the Israeli hostages. The strike occurred as the Hamas leadership was meeting to discuss a proposal sent by Trump. Qatar said the attempted assassination ended any chances of reaching a hostage agreement.

The White House has pushed congressional leadership to endorse the sale even after the Israeli strike in Qatar.

Israel is in the process of ethnically cleansing Palestinians from Gaza. The onslaught has primarily been conducted by Israel using American weapons. A large number of civilians have been killed by Israeli forces. Additionally, an Israeli siege of Gaza has created a famine, and hundreds of Palestinians have starved to death.

Since taking office, Trump has approved multiple arms sales to Israel, including a sale of $3 billion in bombs.
