Students to Perform Breathtaking George Floyd-Inspired Piece at Carnegie Hall

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Q: How do you get to Carnegie Hall?

A: Woke virtue-signaling, of course.

A music class at a public high school in Connecticut is making choral students learn a piece about George Floyd that was commissioned by various colleges, and will be performing it at the iconic New York City venue in April.

New Fairfield High School Choral Director Andrew Gadwah required students to practice and perform “Weather: Stand the Storm,” according to Campus Reform.

The song’s lyrics mention the death of Floyd and the ensuing civil unrest in 2020. Among the phrases that were used in the song were “white silence equals violence” and “[w]hatever contracts keep us social compel us now to disorder the disorder.”

“Black. Just us and the blues kneeling on a neck with the full weight of a man in blue. Eight minutes and forty-six seconds,” one of the sections of the song said.

The song was originally a poem and was written by Claudia Rankine, who has served on the faculty of various institutions of higher education.

The higher education institutions that were responsible for commissioning the song were the College of New Jersey, among others. Composer and Temple University professor Rollo Dilworth was responsible for writing the music.

According to the official calendar of the school, the students will perform the song at an April concert at Carnegie Hall.

“As a graduate of New Fairfield High School, it sickens me that the first year in the brand-new building started off so poorly. At the end of the day, it’s about education, not indoctrination. Don’t shove things down people’s [sic] throat,” New Fairfield alumnus and Campus Reform correspondent Mason Cipriani said.

Cipriani was not the only one who expressed his disagreement with the far-left song. Gadwah also received an email from the students who criticized the song as “insensitive and mocking.”

“We also brought attention [sic] that during our class discussion on Tuesday, we felt very dismissed after airing our honest feelings about the song to you. We are uncomfortable because of the song and how you are going about teaching it,” the email said.

Gadwah responded to the email by expressing his apologies and saying that students in other classes have voiced similar complaints. He also added that presenting leftist song “in chunks” would leave it out of context, so he provided a YouTube video of a performance of the work in which its background is explained.

COVID Cover-Up: CDC Responds to FOIA of Myocarditis Studies w/ 148 Pages, All Redacted

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In response to a Freedom of Information Act request, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a 148-page myocarditis study that was entirely redacted, the Gateway Pundit reported.

The initial FOIA was requested by Zachary Stieber, an Epoch Times reporter, who asked for information regarding instances of myocarditis before and after receiving either the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 jabs—the two experimental “vaccine” treatments that involved alterations to the mRNA genetic sequence.

In response, the CDC acknowledged having conducted extensive studies on the effects of the vaccines as they related to heart inflammation and abnormalities but refused to say what the findings were.

Instead, the materials, possibly stemming from multiple reports, contained 148 blank pages.

Stieber posted the blank pages on Twitter, nothing that the CDC sent him a second document that was also mostly redacted.

There has long been speculation that certain vaccines lead to increased frequency of myocarditis, a type of heart inflammation that can even lead to heart failure.

In fact, other studies conducted by independent research organizations have confirmed the link, such as a large-scale German study released last year that was reviewed by noted COVID vaccine skeptic Peter McCullough.

Yet, the latest incident is only one in a long string of attempts by the CDC to avoid the spread of what seems to be potentially-damaging information.

In September 2023, for example, the CDC refused to release the latest data on heart failure recorded in patients who had recently received COVID-19 jab by neglecting to update information related to the heart condition.

The research into the link likely came amid tremendous public pressure as the CDC began to face criticism for failing to provide complete information about the vaccines.

And its silence on the matter likely means that coming clean would potentially subject the CDC to a wave of litigation like no other, considering the health implications of its faulty medical advice and the subsequent mandates inflicted on large swaths of the population.

Some first became suspicious about the potential connection between vaccines and myocarditis in the summer of 2021, shortly after the vaccines became widely available, when the CDC published information regarding a drastic uptick in heart inflammation among otherwise-healthy young men who had received the vaccine.

“It does appear that the mRNA vaccines may be a trigger for myocarditis,” Matthew Oster, a pediatric cardiologist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, at a panel that presented the newly released data, said at the time.

Oster’s conclusions were confirmed by a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association, which found that COVID-19 shots increased myocarditis risk, particularly in young boys and men.

“Based on passive surveillance reporting in the US, the risk of myocarditis after receiving mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines was increased across multiple age and sex strata and was highest after the second vaccination dose in adolescent males and young men,” the study concluded.

Ala. Overnight Space Camp Slammed for Using Transgender Counselor

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., and other Republicans slammed Huntsville, Alabama’s U.S. Space and Rocket Center Space Camp for hiring a transgender employee to oversee children at the overnight camp, 1819 News reported.

The camp hired Molly Bowman, a biological male who identifies as female, to chaperone the event, acting as a hall monitor for the girls’ dormitories.

Bowman’s role at the camp came to light when Clay Yarbrough, a father of a Huntsville student, posted images to Facebook showing before and after photos from Bowman’s transition while describing Bowman’s job.

His post included screenshots of some of the sexual comments Bowman has made on social-media platforms as well.

According to Yarbrough, who initially planned to send his daughter to Space Camp, he had to do something when he heard that Bowman had previously entered the girls’ rooms.

One mother even claimed that Bowman entered the girls’ shower area at one point to encourage them to hurry up.

“All I thought was that [Bowman] was a hall monitor, but then I heard that he had walked into the girl’s room,” Yarbrough said.

“I thought that was extreme; I wouldn’t think that kind of thing would happen at space camp.”

The story has since gained national traction, leading Tuberville, among other Alabama lawmakers, to speak out.

“There’s no reason to have a transgender in charge of boys and girls at a space camp in Huntsville, Alabama; that makes no sense,” Tuberville said in a statement last week.

“… Hopefully, it’s not a detriment to Space Camp because it’s a great entity,” he added. “It’s done a great job for Huntsville, the state and young people all over the country; they’ve learned a lot. So let’s do this the right way. Let’s don’t put any question marks in the way of people and parents sending their kids to space camp to have a great opportunity.”

When questioned about Bowman’s duties, Space Camp Vice President Robin Soprano declined to give out any information.

“I’m not going to give you specifics about any employees,” Soprano stated.

WATCH: Grabien Compiles Supercut of Leftist Media Using ‘Bloodbath’

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A desperate attempt by the leftist propaganda machine and its mainstream media allies to spread fake news about presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump calling for political violence boomeranged back after the full context exposed them as liars and a viral video showed them using the exact same phrase against Trump and other Republicans.

During a rally over the weekend in Dayton, Ohio, Trump used the term “bloodbath” in reference to companies like Mexico and China reaping the financial benefits of President Joe Biden’s electric vehicle policies, according to Twitchy.

Trump pledged to put a “100% tariff on every single car” that’s imported “if I get elected” before issuing the ominous warning about what would happen to American industry—and to national security—if Biden is allowed to continue his open-border policies.

“Now if I don’t get elected … It’s gonna be a bloodbath for the country, that’ll be the least of it.”

The media pounced on his comments, claiming Trump warned of a literal bloodbath should he lose in November.

One headline from NBC News read “Trump says there will be a ‘bloodbath’ if he loses the election.”

Another from the New York Times said “Trump Says Some Migrants Are ‘Not People’ and Predicts a ‘Blood Bath’ if He Loses.”

Leftists news pundits, of course, use these kinds of exaggerations on a consistent basis, as pointed out by journalist Tom Elliott, who put together a supercut of mainstream talking heads using graphic language to describe political events.

Rachel Maddow, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski of Morning Joe, Van Jones, Joy Reid, Jake Tapper, the hosts of The View and Don Lemon all made an appearance in the video.

Billionaire Twitter owner Elon Musk even went toe-to-toe with Scarborough, calling him out for claiming Jan 6 was also a “bloodbath”—despite the fact that the only casualties were four Trump supporters, two of whom died of natural causes—and saying Trump “promised another ‘bloodbath’ if he loses again.”

“Jan 6 was not a ‘bloodbath’ by any definition and Trump was referring to job losses in the auto industry when he used that word,” Musk said. “Your post is extremely misleading.”

Scarborough deleted the post soon after Musk’s response.

Trump also responded to the accusations from the news media in a post on Truth Social.

“The Fake News Media, and their Democrat Partners in the destruction of our Nation, pretended to be shocked at my use of the word BLOODBATH, even though they fully understood that I was simply referring to imports allowed by Crooked Joe Biden, which are killing the automobile industry,” Trump said. “The United Auto Workers, but not their leadership, fully understand what I mean.”

Presumptive Democrat nominee Joe Biden, 81, recently became the first incumbent president since Jimmy Carter to lose a primary.

For Carter, that loss would portend one of the biggest political blowouts in modern history, with Ronald Reagan winning 489 electoral votes to Carter’s 49.

While Carter had a 43% approval rating, Biden’s currently sits at 38%.

Many see Biden’s policies as actively charting a course to destroy the country, and so with little else to run on, the Left has predictably turned to some of the most extreme demagoguery and gaslighting ever witnessed in American politics to push fearmongering about Trump to new levels.

Thus far, however, few seem to be buying into it. A divisive State of the Union address earlier this month offered no extra approval boost for Biden, even as Democrats insisted he had knocked it out of the park and made a convincing case for his presidency.

If its fearmongering and lawfare strategies continue to fail, the Left either will have to pull a bait-and-switch to replace Biden at the last minute or will have to attempt a vote-fraud operation using mail-in ballots and algorithmic weighting of voting machines in blue districts that will make its 2020 pandemic-era plan pale by comparison.

Trump Calls For Cheney To Be Prosecuted, Jailed For Allegedly Suppressing Jan. 6 Evidence

(Headline USA) Former President Donald Trump doubled down this week on his call for former Rep. Liz Cheney to be prosecuted for her role in the Jan. 6 congressional committee.

“SHE SHOULD BE PROSECUTED FOR WHAT SHE HAS DONE TO OUR COUNTRY! SHE ILLEGALLY DESTROYED THE EVIDENCE. UNREAL!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Sunday. “[Cheney] should go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!”

Trump was responding to a report in The Federalist that revealed Cheney’s committee “suppressed evidence” that contradicted claims made against Trump. For example, the committee withheld testimony from four former Trump White House employees who attended Trump’s Jan. 6, 2021 speech and contradicted claims made by former Trump aide Cassidy Hutchinson.

Hutchinson claimed before the committee that Trump tried to grab the wheel of his vehicle from a Secret Service agent so that he could join protesters at the U.S. Capitol building

“Cheney promoted Cassidy Hutchinson‘s sensational revised testimony and hid witness testimony from White House and Secret Service employees with firsthand knowledge that directly contradicted Hutchinson‘s version of events,” said a recent House GOP report.

The Jan. 6 committee also allegedly withheld evidence that proved Trump tried to send in the National Guard on Jan. 6, 2021 to restore order on the Capitol grounds.

In response to Trump’s comments, Cheney denied any wrongdoing.

“You have had all the grand jury & J6 transcripts for many months. You’re trying to halt your 1/6 trial because your VP, WH counsel, WH aides, campaign & DOJ officials etc. will testify against you. You’re afraid of the truth and you should be,” she said to Trump.

The former president is facing several federal charges related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot — a case that is set to be reviewed by the Supreme Court in the next few weeks. Trump challenged the charges against him, claiming his actions fall under presidential immunity.

Pentagon Says It Has No Records of Gen. Milley Calling Epoch Times, Newsmax Terror Threats

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The Defense Department has claimed that it has no records of former Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley labelling conservative media outlets Newsmax and The Epoch Times as domestic terrorist threats—an event documented in Pulitzer Prize-winner Bob Woodward’s book, Peril.

“The Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JS), conducted a search of their records systems based on the information provided in your request. After thorough searches of the electronic records and files of JS, no records of the kind you described could be identified,” the DOD told Headline USA on March 4, more than two years after this reporter filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the Gen. Milley notes referenced in Woodward’s book.

According to Woodward and co-author Robert Costa, Gen. Milley labeled Newsmax and The Epoch Times as terrorist threats while writing in his notebook three days after the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill uprising.

“What is this amorphous thing that just happened on the 6th? Who are these people? … Extreme Tea Party, QAnon, Patriot Movement, We the People Movement, Nazis, Proud Boys, The Oath Keepers, Newsmax, Epoch [Times]. Big Threat: Domestic Terrorism,” Milley reportedly wrote in his notebook on Jan. 9, 2021.

When Woodward’s book was published in September 2021, it caused a stir in the conservative media.

Gen. Milley denied the report when pressed on the matter by Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind.

“Do your notes about Jan. 6 reference both Epoch Times and Newsmax on a list of domestic terrorists?” Banks asked Milley during a September 2021 congressional hearing.

“I’m not recalling this conversation at all,” Milley said of Woodward’s book, to which Banks replied: “It’s in the book.”

“It may be in the book,” Milley responded. “I’m not recalling a conversation about Newsmax, Epoch Times, or . . .”

“Do you have a notebook that lists Newsmax and Epoch Times as domestic terrorists as recounted by the Bob Woodward book ‘Peril’?” Banks repeated. “Or is Bob Woodward lying to us in the book?”

Milley demurred.

“I don’t know,” Milley said. “I don’t recall any conversation about Epoch Times . . .”

Milley said he doesn’t believe Epoch or Newsmax are domestic terror threats when asked by Banks. He also agreed to provide his notes to Banks, though it’s not clear if he ever did that.

At the time, this reporter asked Woodward and Costa about Milley’s response to their book. Costa responded that they stand by their reporting.

Headline USA has called and emailed the Pentagon’s FOIA liason to seek mediation services for its records request—this publication has concerns that officials have not adequately searched for Milley’s notes—but has not received a response as of the publication of this article.

As Newsmax noted in the wake of Woodward’s book publishing, the Pulitzer winner has been dogged by allegations of fabrication in the past. In his 1987 book Veil: Secret Wars of the CIA, Woodward claimed he interviewed William J. Casey, Reagan’s CIA director, on his hospital deathbed.

“Agency security officials said Woodward would never have gotten access to the secure hospital room, and the Casey family said Woodward’s claims were ludicrous,” Newsmax reported. “Casey had a massive stroke and was unable to communicate with family members.”

The Mainstream Media Doesn’t Get Why People Own Gold

(Stefan Gleason, Money Metals News Service) The much anticipated (and to some, much dreaded) rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is now official. Last week, both candidates locked up enough delegates to secure their respective parties’ nominations for President.

There are stark differences between them, no doubt. But the election is unlikely to change anything about the trajectory of federal finances.

Those who are concerned about rising deficits, a depreciating Federal Reserve note dollar, entrenched inflation, and the potential for black swan events such as a banking system meltdown, war, or natural disasters often look to precious metals for protection.

People who own physical gold and silver as part of a financial preparedness strategy were ridiculed in a recent CNBC article as “doomsday preppers.”

An academic quoted in the article, apparently attempting to link gold buyers to supporters of Donald Trump, stated, “The turn toward gold is like the turn toward authoritarian leaders, toward the ideal of someone who knows what is true and right and who has the courage to return a nation to its former truth and greatness.”

In reality, people buy gold primarily for the opposite reason: they fear authoritarian government controls and are skeptical that any political figure can be fully trusted to do “what is true and right.”

Gold is honest money.

The fact that it recently surged to a new record high in terms of Federal Reserve notes reflects the dishonesty of the fiat currency regime.

Sound money advocates don’t expect Donald Trump, if elected President again, to single-handedly fix what’s broken with the nation’s fiscal and monetary policy.

They instead expect more debt, more inflation, and an eventual reckoning that could be painful for lots of people who are unprepared.

Being prepared is not a dug-in ideological position, as some gold naysayers in the media suggest. Economic risks including that of a currency crisis can jeopardize your personal financial security regardless of whether you are a Republican, Democrat, or Independent.

Of course, those who blindly put their trust in Washington, D.C. to solve the nation’s financial problems will probably see no need to prepare for hard times.

For those who are bit more skeptical of the powers that be, physical gold and silver represent tangible wealth that requires no trust and has no counterparty risk.

FBI Must Answer for $2,000 it Stole from Safe-Deposit Box, Judge Rules

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) A federal judge has denied the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit against the FBI over its illegal raid of hundreds of renters’ safe-deposit boxes in Beverly Hills—meaning that the bureau will have to answer questions about $2,000 that went missing from the raid.

The judge’s Thursday decision stems from an investigation the FBI opened into US Private Vaults, or USPV—a company that, unlike typical banks, provided safe-deposit boxes to customers without requiring identification. The FBI had been investigating individual USPV customers, but determined the “real problem” was USPV, which they believed served as a “money laundering facilitator.”

Accordingly, the FBI raided the entire USPV vault in 2021.

Even though the warrant authorizing the raid only permitted the FBI to open boxes to identify their owners and safeguard the contents, agents rummaged through hundreds of boxes, ran currency they found in front of drug sniffing dogs, and made copies of people’s most personal records, according to the Institute for Justice, which filed a lawsuit on behalf of multiple non-criminal USPV customers.

As Headline USA reported in January, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the FBI acted unlawfully in its 2021 raid on USPV.

Thursday’s decision comes from a separate-but-related lawsuit filed by Jeni Pearsons, who was also a part of the above-referenced litigation. Pearsons had the contents of her safe-deposit box returned to her last year—except there was $2,000 missing, which led to her suing again last September.

“How does Jeni know that $2,000 went missing from her box? Whenever she visited the box, she took a picture of the contents. And, when she visited the box in February 2021—just a month before the raid–she took a picture of the cash. But when the FBI returned the contents of the box, there was no cash at all,” explained Rob Johnson, a lawyer for the Institute for Justice.

The DOJ had argued that Pearsons’ lawsuit should be dismissed on “sovereign immunity” grounds—the notion that the government is shielded from being sued for individual damages.

But the presiding judge rejected that argument on Thursday.

“So, now the case moves forward to discovery—meaning we get to ask the FBI some uncomfortable questions about what exactly happened to the missing $2,000. I literally couldn’t be looking forward to that more,” Johnson said.

FBI Sent up to 10 Informants to Standing Rock Pipeline Protest

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Court records from long-running litigation stemming from the 2016 Standing Rock pipeline protest show that the FBI infiltrated the movement with up to 10 paid informants.

Until recently, only one FBI informant had been identified at the Standing Rock Sioux Indian Reservation: Heath Harmon, who reportedly gave a gun to another protestor, who was eventually arrested for it.

Information about the other informants comes from an ongoing lawsuit between North Dakota and the federal government over who should pay for policing the pipeline protestors. In that lawsuit, a deposition of Bob Perry, former assistant special agent in charge of the FBI in the Dakotas and northern Minnesota, was played in open court last month.

According to the North Dakota Monitor, Perry said that the FBI had five to 10 paid informants within the protest camp.

The left-wing outlet Grist further reported last week that the FBI also regularly sent agents wearing civilian clothing into the camps. Additionally, the Bureau of Indian Affairs had “a couple” of narcotics officers operating undercover at the Prairie Knights Casino, according to Grist, which cited the deposition of Darren Cruzan, a member of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma who was the director of the BIA’s Office of Justice Services at the time.

Perry reportedly testified that the informants were told not to encourage criminality.

“We don’t want to know about constitutionally protected activity.” Perry reportedly said. “We would give them essentially a list: ‘Violence, potential violence, criminal activity.’ To some point it was health and safety as well, because, you know, we had an informant placed and in position where they could report on that.”

The federal government was also reportedly worried about connections between the protestors and countries such as China and North Korea, as well as billionaire power brokers such as George Soros. One agent said he was denied his request to investigate these links, according to Grist.

Ultimately, the FBI uncovered no widespread criminal activity beyond personal drug use and “misdemeanor-type activity,” another FBI official reportedly said in his deposition.

A supporter of the protestors said the FBI’s operations damage the social fabric of the Standing Rock Sioux Indian Reservation.

“The culture of paranoia and fear created around informants and infiltration is so deleterious to social movements, because these movements for Indigenous people are typically based on kinship networks and forms of relationality,” Nick Estes, a historian and member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe, told Grist.

The trial between North Dakota and the federal government wrapped up Thursday. A judge has yet to render a decision on the matter.

From Doughnuts to Wine: Businesses Prep for Eclipse-Themed Tourism

(Headline USA) Eclipse-themed beer. Jewelry and ornaments. And doughnuts that capture the sun’s disappearing act with the help of buttercream frosting.

With April 8’s total solar eclipse right around the corner, businesses are ready for the celestial event that will dim skies along a generous path across North America.

There are oodles of special eclipse safety glasses for sale, along with T-shirts emblazoned with clever slogans and other souvenirs—just like the last time the U.S. got a big piece of the total solar eclipse action in 2017.

Hotels and resorts along the prime path are luring in visitors with special packages and Southwest and Delta are selling seats on eclipse-viewing flights. Cities, museums and parks are staging watch parties to draw in tourists as well as residents.

“This is a special event and … the travel industry certainly is in a very good spot,” said Jie Zhang, a marketing professor at the University of Maryland’s business school. She also noted the eclipse craze arrives at a time when consumers are continuing to ramp up spending on new experiences.

Closer to eclipse day, there are likely to be more special products and promotions from national brands springing up, like Moon Pie’s “eclipse survival kit,” made up of four mini versions of the chocolate snack and two pairs of eclipse glasses.

Small businesses within the eclipse’s 115-mile-wide path of totality appear to be leading the charge so far.

Online shops and local vendors have put together a full array of creative, limited-edition merchandise: earrings, baby onesies, ornaments, games, banners and more.

Some towns and business owners have been anticipating the celestial event and huge crowds for years.

After the 2017 eclipse, “I marked my calendar,” said Sam McNulty, co-founder of Market Garden Brewery in Cleveland, which is in the eclipse path this time and will see nearly four minutes of dimmed skies.

Last year, McNulty’s team brewed a hazy IPA called “The Totality” to help drum up interest in the eclipse. The on tap debut was a success, and the brewery was soon approached by local grocer Heinen’s to partner for a canned collaboration.

In the coming weeks, “thousands and thousands” of cans are set to hit store shelves, McNulty said — adding they decided to go big because of how rare the event is. Cleveland won’t be in the path of totality again for a long time—not until 2444.

“I don’t want to have to wait 420 years to brew the next batch of cans,” he joked. “So we made a very large one this time.”

The eclipse-themed beverages don’t stop at beer. Big Cuppa, a coffee shop in Morrilton, Arkansas, also has a full eclipse menu with a handful of specialty drinks. Its “Moon Pie Frappa” is a blended Moon Pie drink flavored with dark chocolate and toasted marshmallow.

Big Cuppa co-owner Joseph Adam Krutz said that he’s excited to greet customers and the many new faces set to travel through town next month. Krutz said his shop has been gearing up for a while along with other businesses in downtown Morrilton. He drives by a countdown clock each day.

“We’re prepared. Bring it on,” Krutz said.

And don’t forget the snacks. In Ohio’s Butler County, a shop called The Donut Dude will have an “Eclipse Donut Special” that shows the eclipse’s stages as the sun disappears behind the moon.

The special goes on sale later this month and consists of seven filled-doughnuts with rolled buttercream, two galaxy-themed cake doughnuts and safety glasses so customers can watch the event while snacking away.

“We’re anticipating a lot of fun,” co-owner Glen Huey said.

Since the doughnut shop is closed on Mondays, Huey is looking forward to watching the spectacle as it passes over his town between Cincinnati and Dayton.

In the U.S., Texas has the best odds for clear skies and the state expects to be swarmed with tourists. With a prime location, eateries in the town of Grapevine have a multitude of offerings: a “Blackout Dinner” at Hotel Vin and a “Solar Eclipse Shake” at Son of a Butcher.

Many businesses along the path of totality are offering special events leading up to the eclipse, too.

New York’s Cayuga Lake Wine Trail is promoting “Sips to the Eclipse” for the weekend ahead of April 8. Guests will be able to visit 10 wineries for tastings — some of which are offering additional attractions like an eclipse eve tarot card reading, special slushies and half-moon cookies.

Katherine Chase, executive director of the wine trail, said the promotion was planned in anticipation of all the people coming to the Finger Lakes region for the eclipse.

“The wineries can go as big or as little as they’d like to entice folks to come,” she said.
