Army to Cut Trump-Era Benefit for Soldiers

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The U.S. Army is reportedly eyeing a benefits cut that would surely worsen the already historically low recruitment numbers.

According to Military.com, the Army could cut its Army Credentialing Assistance program, or Army CA, as a cost-cutting measure.

The Army CA was introduced force-wide during the Trump administration in 2020 as a complementary benefit to traditional scholarship programs.

“Instead of being intended to be used for college degrees, the program gave soldiers $4,000 per year, for civilian credentials — such as qualifications in coding languages, cybersecurity, personal training, commercial driver’s licenses and other skills that can help them in the civilian world or supplement their military career,” Military.com explained.

However, “Now, the service is looking to reduce that benefit to $1,000 per year and never to exceed $4,000 across a career—and those credentials must serve the soldier’s job, meaning an infantryman may not be able to get certifications in cybersecurity fields—reverting back to an earlier style of the benefit,” the publication said.

“That limited benefit would struggle to cover the costs of most quality civilian courses and licensing.”

Citing anonymous sources and internal emails, Military.com reported that the potential cut is still in the planning stage. The Army reportedly did not comment on the matter.

Jeff Frisby, executive director at the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States, told Military.com that the Army is breaking its promise to soldiers.

“This is not living up to the promise [soldiers] thought they had,” Frisby said. “With recruiting, for people who wanted those robust education benefits, now they realize this might not be something they want to do.”

To Frisby’s point, the Army reportedly fell more than 15,000 recruits short of its target of 60,000 in 2022, and another 10,000 recruits last year.

The decrease in white recruits has led the overall decline. Military.com in January that the number of white Army recruits fell from 44,042 in 2018 to 25,070. In 2018, 56.4% of new recruits were reportedly categorized as white. In 2023, that number reportedly declined to 44%.

Many government officials have expressed apathy at the declining recruitment rates. In December, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., proposed that the shortfall in white recruits could be made up for by allowing illegal immigrants to serve.

“Do you know what the recruiting numbers are at the Army, Navy and Air Force? They can’t find enough people,” Durbin said at the time. “And there are undocumented people who want to serve this country. Should we give them the chance? I think we should.”

Corrupt Judge Merchan Expands Gag Order after Trump Slams Conflict of Interests

(Headline USA) Manhattan Judge Juan M. Merchan amended a week-old gag order to cover his own family members after presumptive Republican presidential nominee exposed a serious conflict of interests involving his daughter, Democrat operative Loren Merchan, who has raised some $93 million of the case for her consulting business.

“This pattern of attacking family members of presiding jurists and attorneys assigned to his cases serves no legitimate purpose,” whined the judge, who thus far has refused calls to recuse himself, despite revelations that he, too, had given money to Trump’s political opponents.

“It merely injects fear in those assigned or called to participate in the proceedings that not only they, but their family members as well, are ‘fair game,’ for Defendant’s vitriol,” Merchan claimed, ignoring the legitimate concerns raised by the defense.

Several other New York judges criticized by Trump in his series of coordinated lawfare attacks, including Arthur Engoron and Lewis Kaplan, have also proven to be biased in their actions both on and off the bench through the course of their respective trials. All are either declared Democrats or were appointed by Democrat officials.

The gag order also echoes one in Trump’s Washington, D.C., case issued by equally biased and corrupt District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan, a Barack Obama appointee, that prohibits any statements about the court’s staff, prosecution team or their families.

The issue with Merchan’s daughter first came to light after Loren Merchan posted a picture of Trump behind bars as the profile photo on a private account last week but quickly deleted it once it went public and was linked to her.

Despite the role his daughter had in thrusting herself into the public eye, Merchan moped over the fact that he was fearful for his own safety and that of his family members who could potentially have their feelings hurt by the mean social-media posts.

“Again, all citizens called upon to participate in these proceedings, whether as a juror, a witness or in some other capacity, must now concern themselves not only with their own personal safety, but with the safety and the potential for personal attacks upon their loved ones,” Merchan wrote. “That reality cannot be overstated.”

Merchan is due to oversee the trial starting on April 15, which George Soros-backed District Attorney Alvin Bragg filed after a lengthy and highly politicized investigation in connection with Trump’s alleged falsification of financial forms.

Trump is accused of failing to disclose the “hush money” payments that his ex-lawyer Michael Cohen made to porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy bunny Karen McDougal. In order to make the charges extend past their expired statute of limitations, Bragg had to rewrite the law himself, changing a misdemeanor to a felony.

Trump pleaded not guilty last April to 34 counts. He denies having sex with Daniels, and his lawyers have said that the payments to Cohen were legitimate legal expenses, not part of any coverup.

At Bragg’s request, Merchan last week banned Trump from making public statements about witnesses, jurors and others connected with the case.

For now, Trump is still free to criticize Merchan and Bragg. But under the revised gag order, the D.A.’s family is now off-limits from his rhetoric, too.

A violation could result in Trump being held in contempt of court, fined or even jailed.

Merchan, in expanding the gag order, also warned Trump he’ll forfeit his right to see the names of jurors—which are otherwise being kept from the public—if he persists.

Trump’s lawyer, Susan Necheles, declined comment. A spokesperson for the district attorney’s office also declined comment.

Trump posted a three-part statement on Truth Social last week that criticized the gag order and reupped the calls for Merchan to recuse himself in light of his daughter’s paid Democratic advocacy. He said the judge was “wrongfully attempting to deprive me of my First Amendment Right to speak out against the Weaponization of Law Enforcement” by Democratic rivals and that Loren Merchan “makes money by working to ‘Get Trump.’”

Just two weeks before jury selection, Trump’s lawyers and prosecutors wrangled in a series of court filings over the bounds of the original gag order and whether Trump had overstepped them.

“It is no longer just a mere possibility or a reasonable likelihood that there exists a threat to the integrity of the judicial proceedings,” Merchan complained in his order on Monday. “The threat is very real. Admonitions are not enough, nor is reliance on self-restraint.”

Merchan responded after prosecutors asked him Friday to “clarify or confirm” the scope of the gag order and to direct Trump to “immediately desist from attacks on family members.”

Assistant District Attorney Joshua Steinglass implored Merchan to “make abundantly clear” to Trump that the gag order protects the judge’s family, Bragg’s family and the family members of all other individuals it covers. He urged Merchan to warn Trump “that his recent conduct is contumacious and direct him to immediately desist.”

Trump’s lawyers fought the gag order and its expansion, citing constitutional concerns about restricting Trump’s speech further while he’s campaigning for president and fighting criminal charges.

On Monday, they said they would soon ask again for Merchan to step aside from the case— promising a court filing in the coming days seeking his recusal based on what they said were “changed circumstances and newly discovered evidence.”

Merchan refused the defense’s calls to exit the case last year when they first made an issue of his daughter’s consulting work and questioned donations he’d made to Democratic causes during the 2020 campaign, including $15 to Biden.

Merchan insisted then that a state court ethics panel found Loren Merchan’s work had no bearing on his impartiality. He ruled last September that he was certain of his “ability to be fair and impartial” and that Trump’s lawyers had “failed to demonstrate that there exists concrete, or even realistic” reasons for recusal.

An Unusual Dynamic: Gold and Treasury Yields Rising Together

(Mike Maharrey, Money Metals News Service) Gold broke another intraday record on Monday. This continues the gold bull run that has been ongoing for several weeks.

But there is something else happening that’s quite unusual.

Treasury bond yields are also rising.

As gold was setting records on Monday, yields on the long end of the Treasury curve were also rising. The yield on the 10-year rose 1.23 basis points, closing nearly 3 percent higher. The 30-year yield also spiked higher late in the day.

This is an extremely unusual dynamic.

Typically, rising bond yields create headwinds for gold. Since gold is a non-yielding asset, investors tend to turn to bonds and away from the yellow metal as interest rates rise.

So, what’s going on?

One of the main factors driving gold higher is the expectation of Fed interest rate cuts. On Monday, World Gold Council market analyst Joseph Cavatoni told CNBC that this is “an exciting moment” for gold.

“What’s really driving it is, I think, many market speculators really getting that confidence and comfort [in] the Fed cuts.”

But if everybody expects the Fed to cut rates sooner rather than later, and the inflation monster is dead, why are yields rising on the long end of the curve?

Three possible factors are playing into this unusual scenario.

Inflation Is Alive and Well

First, markets might be figuring out that the inflation monster isn’t really dead.

If you dig under the surface of the most recent CPI reports, it’s clear that price inflation remains sticky.

More significantly, rate cuts and a pivot to looser monetary policy mean more inflation. If the Fed declares victory over inflation now and returns to rate cuts, it’s actually surrendering to inflation. Money creation is the root of price inflation. (Keep in mind that inflation is an increase in the money supply. Rising prices are a symptom of monetary inflation.) And that’s exactly what everybody anticipates the Fed doing, despite the fact that monetary policy still isn’t tight.

Perhaps some people in the markets are waking up to reality.

And that reality is the Fed hasn’t done enough to slay price inflation. It has just raised rates high enough to break things in this debt-riddled economy.

If the markets are realizing that the long-term inflation outlook isn’t as rosy as the Fed wants us to believe, it would make sense for yields on the long end of the Treasury curve to rise in anticipation of higher inflation.

There Are Big Problems in the Treasury Market

Rising yields might also reflect big supply and demand problems in the bond market.

The U.S. Treasury Department is selling bonds into the market at a torrid pace. The Treasury has to keep borrowing money because the federal government is running massive deficits month after month.

The question is how many more Treasuries can the global market absorb?

As the supply of Treasuries rises and demand lags, prices fall. Bond yields are inversely correlated with bond prices. That means interest rates will continue to rise unless demand for bonds increases, or the Treasury quits borrowing money.

Rising bond yields despite the promise of rate cuts almost certainly reflect these Treasury market dynamics.

And the dirty little secret is the Fed can’t tackle this problem with rate cuts alone. To tip the bond market in a more favorable direction, it will need to return to quantitative easing (QE). (Bond-buying with money created out of thin air.)

Typically, the Federal Reserve has its big fat thumb on the bond market, either running QE or at least keeping its bond holdings steady by replacing maturing Treasuries with new bonds bought on the open market. But during the tightening cycle, the Fed has been shedding Treasuries from its balance sheet. This effectively removed artificial Fed demand from the marketplace, putting more upward pressure on yields.

Fed officials must know the Treasury is in trouble. The U.S. government is already paying more for interest expense than it is for national defense on a monthly basis. This is almost certainly why the Fed is considering rolling back balance sheet reduction although most of the assets added to the balance sheet during the pandemic are still there. (Along with most of those added during the Great Recession for that matter.)

Unless the federal government gets its spending problem under control and/or the Fed steps in, the supply of Treasuries will continue to strain the market and drive yields higher. Bond yields are reflecting this ugly reality.

Has the West Lost Its Power to Set the Gold Price?

Even if investors in the West believe the Fed beat inflation, that the central bank is about to cut rates, and the economy will glide to a soft landing, they aren’t the only players in the gold market. Eastern gold buying — particularly by China — is an increasingly powerful force in the global market. And gold buyers in the East are likely responding to different dynamics, particularly the drive toward de-dollarization.

In a recent interview, Franco-Nevada Chairman Emeritus Pierre Lassonde warned that the West is losing its pricing power in the gold market. That privilege has shifted East.

“The world hasn’t woken up yet. The marginal buyer of gold is no longer the U.S. It’s no longer Europe. It’s China. Between the country’s central bank and the Chinese public, China takes up over two-thirds of all the annual production. They are the new marginal buyer. That’s where the gold price is set.”

If Chinese and other Eastern investors wary of Treasuries and other dollar-denominated assets are buying a lot of gold and spurning U.S. bonds, this would support the price no matter what Western buyers are doing. This would account for simultaneously rising Treasury yields (as demand falls) and rising gold prices (as demand rises).

Largest Plague of ‘Locusts’ in Centuries to Overlap w/ Rare Eclipse, Biblical Events

(Headline USA) A rare solar eclipse this month in which all of the planets will align at once is just one of several events—both natural and man-made, that have led certain people of faith to take note of what seem to be ominous biblical signs.

That includes the anticpated sacrificial slaughter of the 10th red heifer since the time of Moses, due to take place in Israel ahead of the April 22 start of Passover.

The event, which according to the Jewish faith is intended to purify the land, will launch the start of an effort by some Israelis to rebuild the ancient Jewish temple of Jerusalem at the Temple Mount.

That would create a potential conflict due to the presence of the Dome of the Rock, a Muslim holy site regarded as the oldest Islamic structure in the world. Some have suggested that Israel’s plan to move ahead with the ceremonial slaughter of the cow, several of which it purchased from a Texas ranch in 2022, may have played a role in the deadly Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack.

The rebuilding of the Third Temple would fulfill a Jewish covenant with God, while also triggering what some Christians and others to be a prophesy foretold by the book of Revelations.

Adding to the chaos will be a swarm of cicadas—or, in Old Testament terms, what some have interpreted to be the plague of locusts that God sent to punish the Egyptians during the original Passover.

Trillions of evolution’s bizarro wonders, red-eyed periodical cicadas that have pumps in their heads and jet-like muscles in their rears, are about to emerge in numbers not seen in decades—and possibly centuries.

Crawling out from underground every 13 or 17 years, with a collective song as loud as jet engines, the periodical cicadas are nature’s kings of the calendar.

These black bugs with bulging eyes differ from their greener-tinged cousins that come out annually. They stay buried year after year, until they surface and take over a landscape, covering houses with shed exoskeletons and making the ground crunchy.

This spring, an unusual cicada double dose is about to invade a couple parts of the United States in what University of Connecticut cicada expert John Cooley called “cicada-geddon.”

“Periodic cicadas don’t do subtle,” Cooley said.

The last time these two broods came out together in 1803 Thomas Jefferson was president. Jefferson wrote about cicadas in his Garden Book, referring to them as locusts.

Entymological purists note that periodical cicadas are more annoying than locusts but less voracious. They can hurt young trees and some fruit crops, but it’s not widespread and can be prevented.

Yet, while “scientific” sticklers—the same ones who insisted that the experimental COVID-19 vaccines were the only way to end the pandemic—will insist that they are not the same, with the latter being more akin to grasshoppers, their close association likely predates the science of entymology.

The fact that they only emerge in broods following lengthy subterranean incubation periods helps support the idea that such as swarm could explain one of the 10 famous plagues from the book of Exodus.

Regardless of any biblical undertones, the overlapping of rare natural events such as the eclipse and the cicadas is bound to provide an eerie and unnerving backdrop for what could be an intense summer, with global and domestic events already having taken on a somewhat surreal quality.

“We’ve got trillions of these amazing living organisms come out of the Earth, climb up on trees and it’s just a unique experience, a sight to behold,” said Georgia Tech biophysicist Saad Bhamla. “It’s like an entire alien species living underneath our feet and then some prime number years they come out to say hello.”

The largest geographic brood in the nation—called Brood XIX and coming out every 13 years—is about to march through the Southeast, having already created countless boreholes in the red Georgia clay. It’s a sure sign of the coming cicada occupation.

They emerge when the ground warms to 64 degrees. The bugs are brown at first but darken as they mature.

Soon after the insects appear in large numbers in Georgia and the rest of the Southeast, cicada cousins that come out every 17 years will inundate Illinois. They are Brood XIII.

“You’ve got one very widely distributed brood in Brood XIX, but you have a very dense historically abundant brood in the Midwest, your Brood XIII,” said University of Maryland entomologist Mike Raupp.

“And when you put those two together… you would have more than anywhere else any other time,” University of Maryland entomologist Paula Shrewsbury said.

These hideaway cicadas are found only in the eastern United States and a few tiny other places. There are 15 different broods that come out every few years, on 17- and 13-year cycles. These two broods may actually overlap—but probably not interbreed—in a small area near central Illinois, entomologists said.

The numbers that will come out this year—averaging around 1 million per acre over hundreds of millions of acres across 16 states—are mind-boggling. Easily hundreds of trillions, maybe quadrillions, Cooley said.

An even bigger adjacent joint emergence will be when the two largest broods, XIX and XIV, come out together in 2076, Cooley said: “That is the cicada-palooza.”

The origin of some of the astronomical cicada numbers can likely be traced to evolution, Cooley and several other entomologists said. Fat, slow and tasty, periodical cicadas make ideal meals for birds, said Raupp, who eats them himself. (His school put out a cicada cookbook called “Cicada-Licious.”) But there are too many for them to be eaten to extinction, he said.

“Birds everywhere will feast. Their bellies will be full and once again the cicadas will emerge triumphant,” Raupp said.

The other way cicadas use numbers, or math, is in their cycles. They stay underground either 13 or 17 years, both prime numbers. Those big and odd numbers are likely an evolutionary trick to keep predators from relying on a predictable emergence.

The cicadas can cause problems for young trees and nurseries when their mating and nesting weighs down and breaks branches, Shrewsbury said.

Periodical cicadas look for vegetation surrounding mature trees, where they can mate and lay eggs and then go underground to feast on the roots, said Mount St. Joseph University biologist Gene Kritsky, a cicada expert who wrote a book on this year’s dual emergence. That makes American suburbia “periodical cicada heaven,” he said.

It can be hard on the eardrums when all those cicadas get together in those trees and start chorusing. It’s like a singles bar with the males singing to attract mates, with each species having its own mating call.

“The whole tree is screaming,” said Kritsky, who created a Cicada Safari app to track where the cicadas are.

Cooley takes hearing protection because it can get so intense.

“It’s up in the 110 decibel range,” Cooley said. “It’d be like putting your head next to a jet. It is painful.”

The courtship is something to watch, Kritsky imitated the male singing “ffaairro (his pitch rising), ffaairro.”

“She flicks her wings,” Kritsky narrated in a play-by-play. “He moves closer. He sings. She flicks her wings. When he gets really close, he doesn’t have a gap, he’ll go ffaairro, ffaairro, ffaairro, fffaairo.”

Then the mating is consummated, with the female laying eggs in a groove in a tree branch. The cicada nymph will fall to the ground, then dig underground to get to the roots of a tree.

Cicadas are strange in that they feed on the tree’s xylem, which carry water and some nutrients. The pressure inside the xylem is lower than outside, but a pump in the cicada’s head allows the bug to get fluid that it otherwise wouldn’t be able to get out of the tree, said Carrie Deans, a University of Alabama Huntsville entomologist.

The cicada gets so much fluid that it has a lot of liquid waste to get rid of. It does so thanks to a special muscle that creates a jet of urine that flows faster than in most any other animal, said Georgia Tech’s Bhamla.

In Macon, Georgia, T.J. Rauls was planting roses and holly this week when he came across a cicada while digging. A neighbor had already posted an image of an early-emerging critter.

Rauls named his own bug “Bobby” and said he’s looking forward to more to come.

“I think it will be an exciting thing,” Rauls said. “It will be bewildering with all their noises.”

American Kidnapped in Haiti Freed after $40K Ransom, Calls Country a ‘Sh*t Hole’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) On Monday, a Haitian gang released popular YouTube star Addison Pierre Maalouf after weeks of holding him hostage in exchange for a staggering $600,000 ransom. (Roughly $40,000 was allegedly paid).

Maalouf was in Haiti in a failed attempt to interview Jimmy “Barbecue” Chérizier, the leader of G9 and Family Gang, the group currently in charge of the country following the abrupt resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry.

“Cameraman never dies. I’ve been released. Glory be to God. Christ is King,” Maalouf wrote on Twitter, confirming his release.

In a separate post, the YouTuber claimed he was targeted “purely for the color of his skin.” He refused to provide further details at least until he arrived home.

“When you’re kidnapped in the middle of the Haitian Desert 60 minutes away from any civilization in a concrete shack surrounded by barbed wire, you don’t pray to a rainbow flag, you pray to God,” he wrote.

Maalouf’s YouTube channel boasts nearly 1.5 million followers and features videos of him interacting with alleged criminal gangs in Brazil and an unnamed drug cartel in Mexico.

Having reportedly traveled from his home in Georgia to the neighboring Dominican Republic, Maalouf then proceeded to Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince.

In a video posted hours before falling victim to the gangs wreaking havoc in Haiti, Maalouf admitted to the dangers of traveling to the capital, noting that the hotel where he stayed was empty.

“So, we actually cannot leave to Port-Au-Prince until the morning because it’s already 6 p.m. and if we leave right now, we’ll get there while it’s dark—it’s about a six-hour roundtrip,” Maalouf said in the video.

Predicting his fate, Maalouf stated, “All it takes is one stupid gang member holding an AK-47 for one thing to go wrong, so we’re not taking that risk at night.”

Media reports confirmed that Maalouf’s guide, Jean Sacra Sean Roubens, was also kidnapped but subsequently released by the gang.

Maalouf faced criticism for harshly condemning Haitian law enforcement following his release. They allegedly attempted to coerce him into paying more money before exiting the country.

“Do not ever come to Haiti. Haiti is the worst sh*t hole country I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” he said while at a local police precinct. “I am telling you right now, do not if you’re thinking ever coming to god damn country. Haiti is the worst country I’ve ever seen in my entire f**cking life, and I’ve been to 60 countries.”

He has since removed the video clip and clarified on Twitter: “After everything, I was peacefully leaving and someone tried to extort me AGAIN and now I am detained for no reason and no explanation and my family was expecting me to show up tonight and see them after 17 days.”

He further stated: “Forgive me for coming off frustrated. I love Haiti and all it’s beauty.”

Haiti is currently in a state of chaos with no sitting head of state after Henry failed to re-enter the country when gangs seized control of the airport in the capital last month. The former prime minister was in Kenya holding talks for a military intervention, when the gangs took over.

Three DC Teen Girls Arrested for Beating Disabled Man to Death

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A 12-year-old girl and two 13-year-old girls were arrested this week in Washington DC for brutally murdering a disabled man in 2023.

The New York Post reported that the three teens were caught on camera murdering Reggie Brown on Oct. 17, 2023.

A group of five girls chased the disabled 64-year-old down an alley and ripped him off a chain link fence as he desperately tried to flee, according to the graphic video.

Investigators testified in court on March 29, 2024, that the attackers stomped his head on the concrete before pulling his pants down to his ankles and using his own belt to beat him.

The deranged group allegedly laughed as the victim began bleeding from his head and one of the girls shouted, “He’s leaking!”

The news source added that Brown was found dead on the street just before 1 a.m. suffering from gruesome injuries consistent with assault, with an autopsy later listing his manner of death as blunt force trauma.

Brown was disabled, had mental health issues, a metal plate in his head and only two fingers on each hand, police said.

“My uncle really didn’t deserve this. He was known in this community for years so for this to happen where he lived for 64 [years] is insane. They have to be held accountable!” Brown’s niece said.

Detective Harry Singleton also revealed that a man in his early 20s initiated the attack by grabbing Brown by the collar and throwing him against a brick wall.

The police reported that the 12-year-old girl was the one who pulled Brown off the fence and used his belt against him while filming the attack on her cellphone.

All three girls were arrested and even though none of them have prior arrests, all of them have long-standing truancy issues, with one of the girls never attending a single day of class this year, the judge said.

The young criminals face second-degree murder charges and are being tried as juveniles, the news source added.

Biden Admits He Isn’t in Charge? Claims He ‘Didn’t Do’ Trans Proclamation

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden suggested on Monday that he had not signed a proclamation declaring Easter Sunday as the Transgender Day of Visibility.

During an exchange with a reporter on Monday, Biden made this admission while responding to House Speaker Mike Johnson‘s criticism of the proclamation announced on Friday.

“Speaker Johnson said you betrayed the tenet of Easter by proclaiming Sunday, Easter Sunday as Transgender Day,” exclaimed Owen Jensen, a reporter for EWTN, according to the Daily Caller. “He called it outrageous and abhorrent. What do you have to say to Speaker Johnson?”

In response, a defiant Biden accused Johnson of being “thoroughly uninformed.”

The reporter asked Biden to clarify, “Uninformed how?” To this, Biden replied, “I didn’t do that.”

But despite Biden’s assertions that he had not declared Easter Sunday, which coincided with Transgender Day of Visibility, the facts show otherwise.

Biden, on Friday, wrote: “I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.”

He further added: “I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”

Biden’s proclamation drew the ire of Christians and conservatives on social media, with many accusing the president of hijacking a Christian holiday meant to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the son of God.

Johnson was among those criticizing the president’s proclamation. “The Biden White House has betrayed the central tenet of Easter — which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” Johnson wrote on Twitter.

Johnson directly responded to Biden’s claims that he had not declared Easter Sunday as Transgender Day of Visibility.

“This you, @JoeBiden?” Johnson wrote on Monday, sharing a screenshot of the Biden proclamation.

Feminist Org: Banning Trannies in Women’s Sports Is ‘White Supremacist Patriarchy’

The National Organization for Women, a purported women’s rights activist group dating back to the 1960s, opted instead to stand behind giving biological men an unfair advantage to compete against female counterparts, and claimed anything less was not only transphobic but sexist and racist.

“Repeat after us: Weaponizing womenhood against other women is white supremacist patriarchy at work,” NOW tweeted on Sunday as blasphemous leftists sought to supplant Easter with a “transgender day of visibility.”

“Making people believe there isn’t enough space for trans women in sports is white supremacist patriarchy at work,” the group added.

Critics point to studies showing men and even boys outperform the most athletic women on the field of play or when basic measures of performance are compared.

The current guidlines for defining transgender athletes do not exclude those who underwent pubery as males and developed male physiques that give them a distinct competitive advantage.

NOW’s post included a link to a March 15 Associated Press story about a lawsuit filed by more than a dozen college athletes against the National Collegiate Athletics Association for allowing transgender swimmer Lia (né William) Thomas to compete at the national championships in 2022.

One of the plaintiffs, former Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines, pointed out the confused group’s apparent cognitive dissonance in a tweet of her own and seemed to hint at the possibility of a defamation lawsuit over the baseless accusations of racism.

“I’ve never seen so many oppression buzzwords in one sentence,” Gaines tweeted.

“Apparently, advocating for fair sport makes me a white supremacist,” she continued. “I wonder if my attorney will agree (In case you were wondering, NOW stands for National Organization of Women lol).”

Gaines became an outspoken activist for protecting women’s sports after competing against Thomas at the nationals in 2022.

She is currently gearing up for the publication of her first, Swimming Against the Current: Fighting for Common Sense in a World That’s Lost Its Mind, which will be available in late May.

UC Berkeley Allegedly Banned White People from Community Farm

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The University of California at Berkeley is under fire for its anti-white racism after it was revealed that white people were banned from using a community farm on Saturdays.

The New York Post reported that the university is currently investigating claims that the “Gill Tract Community Farm” in Albany, Calif., offered its space on March 30, 2024, exclusively to “Black, Indigenous, and People of Color,” after a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education by the Mountain States Legal Foundation.

“UC-Berkeley thinks that racial segregation is progressive now, but it’s no different than segregation of the past. Preventing Caucasians from accessing Berkeley’s College of Natural Resources Farm on Saturdays is a clear violation of Title VI, which bars educational institutions from engaging in or allowing race discrimination,” William Trachman, general counsel for the group and the university’s alumnus, said.

In addition to that, he said that the federal agents should open a sweeping audit of every program of the university to ferret out the anti-white racism.

The complaint included an email from a farm program manager that is considered evidence of racism against white people.

“Saturdays are exclusively BIPOC. Exceptions have only been made for events that are BIPOC-centered and with plenty of advance notice and planning. I trust you stand in solidarity with upholding boundaries around that safe and sacred space,” a farm program manager said.

One of the university’s representatives, Dan Mogulof, said that the university didn’t even know about the discrimination complaint until the news source contacted them and provided a copy of the complaint, adding that the university will try to stop the blatant racist practice.

“[The] university takes complaints like this extremely seriously and I can assure you that on Monday I will contact the appropriate people on campus in an effort to determine what the facts are,” he told the news source.

Denver Official Begs Illegals to Leave, Warns They’ll ‘Suffer’ If They Stay

(Headline USA) A Denver city official begged illegal immigrants in the city to leave and move to New York City instead, warning that they would “suffer” if they stayed.

In a video obtained by 9News, Andres Carrera, Denver’s “newcomer” communications liaison, is seen telling a group of illegals that the city’s shelters can no longer help them and that they must travel to other sanctuary cities.

“The opportunities are over,” Carrera tells the group in Spanish. “New York gives you more. Chicago gives you more. So I suggest you go there where there is longer-term shelter. There are also more job opportunities there.”

Carrera tells the migrants they can stay if they want, but that the city will eventually cut them off.

“We are not going to block you if you want to stay here,” he says. “If you stay here you are going to suffer even more, and I don’t want to see this.”

He goes on to offer them free transportation to the sanctuary city of their choosing.

“You don’t have to walk anywhere; we can buy you a free ticket,” Carrera adds. “You can go to any city. We can take you up to the Canadian border, wherever!”

The official then asks the migrants to raise their hands if they wish to leave. The video footage shows a handful of people raising their hands.

“Who wants to stay in Denver?” he asks again.

“Todos,” or “everyone,” one migrant replies.

A spokesperson for the city argued the video footage did not represent the entirety of the city’s response to the flood of illegal immigrants it has received over the past several months.

“This news clip showed such a small part of the work our team member did that evening, and just a fraction of the tireless amount of work he and the rest of the city’s team have put in to help newcomers who arrive in Denver,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

“Our city has received more than 40,000 newcomers, or 5.6% of our population, which is the most per capita of any city in the country,” the statement continued. “We’re proud of the support we’ve been able to offer so far, but without federal support, Denver does not have the resources or capacity to maintain this outsized share of the load.”
