Infamous Democrat Suggests Exempting Black Americans from Taxes — Then Issues Disclaimer

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, faced criticism on Tuesday after an interview surfaced in which she advocated for reparations for black Americans in a rather unconventional and even contradictory manner.

In the interview, Crockett argued in favor of exempting certain black Americans from tax obligations as a form of reparations. However, she also seemed to contradict herself by dismissing the idea, noting that some impoverished black individuals don’t pay taxes.

“Just this past week, I saw—I don’t remember which celebrity… one of the things that they proposed was black folk don’t have to pay taxes for a certain amount of time,” she stated in the interview. “But at the same time, it might not be as objectionable to some people about actually giving out dollars.”

The video, originally posted by the conservative meme account End Wokeness, has garnered nearly 900,000 views. Although the date and source of the original video remain unknown, Crockett has previously voiced support for reparations for black Americans in confirmed interviews.

In the undated interview, Crockett suggested that providing reparations through tax breaks might not adequately address the apparent needs of black individuals in lower tax brackets, who she claimed did not pay taxes.

“If you do the ‘No Tax’ thing, for people that are already, say, struggling and aren’t really paying taxes in the first place, it doesn’t really,” Crockett began before being interrupted by the interviewer.

Echoing Crockett’s sentiments, the interviewer proposed that some of those individuals not paying taxes “might want those checks.” Crockett concurred, stating, “exactly!”

Crockett’s press office did not immediately respond to Headline USA’s questions about the video and whether the congresswoman still believed that some black Americans don’t pay taxes.

The emergence of the video coincides with heightened scrutiny from conservatives and Republicans over Crockett’s defense of President Joe Biden.

In 2023, Crockett gained viral attention during a hearing on the impeachment inquiry of Biden, where she notably asserted that the president’s only crime was “loving his child unconditionally.”

Instead, she directed criticism toward former President Donald Trump over charges brought forth by Special Counsel Jack Smith, an appointee of the Biden administration, regarding alleged mishandling of classified documents.

“These are our national secrets, looks like in the s***ter to me,” she claimed while pointing to photos of Mar-a-Lago.

Before joining the House after the 2022 midterm election, Crockett worked as an attorney and served as a Texas House of Representatives member. She has been a vocal advocate for reparations and for the repeal of the Senate filibuster to facilitate the passage of such measures.

UK’s David Cameron Meets w/ Trump in Fla. to Beg Support for Ukraine Funding

(Headline USA) British Foreign Secretary David Cameron delivered what may be the first official state visit of former President Donald Trump’s second presidential term as globalists raised the temperature on their rhetoric to solicit $60 billion in additional funding that has been blocked by House Republicans.

The U.K. government said it was “standard practice” for government ministers to meet allied nations’ opposition leaders in election years.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken met in February with U.K. Labour Party leader Keir Starmer, who is the favorite to become prime minister in an election later this year. When Cameron was prime minister in 2012, he met the then-Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Despite having previously made personally disparaging comments about Trump’s character, the Tory leader arrived hat-in-hand desperate to urge the presumptive GOP presidential nominee to use his sway within the party.

Trump reportedly remained skeptical as Cameron headed onward to press press senior Republicans directly in Washington, D.C.

The U.K.’s Foreign Office confirmed the meeting with Trump, which was described as “productive.” However, British officials did not further elaborate on the meeting went.

Cameron and Trump have had several notable differences of opinion in the past. Cameron called Trump’s proposal during his first presidential campaign to ban Muslims from the U.S. “divisive, stupid and wrong.”

Cameron was British prime minister during the U.K.’s 2016 referendum on whether to leave the European Union—a move he opposed but Trump enthusiastically supported. Cameron resigned after voters narrowly rejected his call to remain in the bloc.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak unexpectedly brought Cameron back into government last year as Britain’s top diplomat.

Some have argued that the amassing of U.S. equipment and, potentially, troops at the Ukrainian border, with the country essentially facing a stalemate in its war against Russia, is intended rather to distract Russian President Vladimir Putin and to drain his military resources as analysts fear a potentially more serious military action by Russia-allied China.

However, with voters in the dark about the true military objectives, Republicans would likely face serious electoral backlash from their constituents if they supported further American involvement in the regional boondoggle.

The lack of oversight concerning Ukraine funding and the country’s reputation for corruption and election-meddling make hawkish claims that the operation is about defending Ukrainian “democracy” an even harder sell.

Cameron maintained that “success for Ukraine and failure for Putin are vital for American and European security” in a statement ahead of his trip.

“This will show that borders matter, that aggression doesn’t pay and that countries like Ukraine are free to choose their own future,” he said. “The alternative would only encourage Putin in further attempts to re-draw European borders by force, and would be heard clearly in Beijing, Tehran and North Korea.”

While in Washington, Cameron planned to hold talks with lawmakers including Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., but he had no scheduled meeting with House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., whose support is vital to the spending bill.

In a video posted last week on Twitter, Cameron said: “Speaker Johnson can make it happen in Congress.”

In February, however, he stuck his foot in his mouth by likening GOP holdouts to those who sought to appease Nazi Germany prior to World War II and urging them not to show “the weakness displayed against Hitler” in the 1930s.

Trump ally Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., addressed those comments on Saturday, saying Cameron “needs to worry about his own country—and, frankly, he can kiss my a**.”

In talks with officials including Blinken and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, Cameron was also due to discuss the Israel—Hamas war, including efforts to reach a “sustainable cease-fire” and get more aid into Gaza.

The U.K. is sending a Royal Navy ship to the eastern Mediterranean to bolster efforts to open a maritime aid corridor between Cyprus and a temporary U.S.-built pier in Gaza.

College Athletics Org. Unanimously Votes to Prohibit Trans Athletes in Women’s Sports

(Headline USA) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced a policy Monday that all but bans transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports at its 241 mostly small colleges across the country.

The NAIA Council of Presidents approved the policy in a 20-0 vote at its annual convention in Kansas City, Missouri. The NAIA, which oversees some 83,000 athletes competing in more than 25 sports, is believed to be the first college sports organization to take such a step.

According to the transgender participation policy, which goes into effect in August, all athletes may participate in NAIA-sponsored male sports, but only athletes whose biological sex assigned at birth is female and have not begun hormone therapy will be allowed to participate in women’s sports.

A biologically female student who has begun hormone therapy may participate in activities such as workouts, practices and team activities, but not in intercollegiate competition.

NAIA programs in competitive cheer and competitive dance are open to all students.

The NAIA policy notes every other sport “includes some combination of strength, speed and stamina, providing competitive advantages for male student–athletes.”

Jim Carr, NAIA president and CEO, said in an interview with the Associated Press that he understood the policy would generate controversy among leftist diehards committed to pushing the LGBT agenda, but that it was deemed best for member schools for competitive reasons.

“We know there are a lot of opinions, and a lot of people have a very emotional reaction to this, and we want to be respectful of all that,” Carr said.

“But we feel like our primary responsibility is fairness in competition, so we are following that path,” he added. “And we’ve tried as best we could to allow for some participation by all.”

About 190 of the 241 NAIA schools are private, and about 125 of those have religious affiliations of varying degrees, Carr said. Of the 20 presidents who voted, 17 are from schools affiliated with Christian denominations.

“People have certain views of the world, and even though I believe all our Council of Presidents members are trying to think what’s best for the NAIA, they certainly come to these kinds of issues with their own beliefs and the missions of their institutions in mind,” Carr said. “I would think that had some impact.”

The NAIA’s 2023-24 policy did not bar transgender and nonbinary athletes from competing in the division of their choice in the regular season. In the postseason, and with some exceptions for those who have had hormone therapy, athletes had to compete in the division of their birth sex.

Shiwali Patel, senior counsel at the leftist National Women’s Law Center, said her organization was outraged by the NAIA policy.

“This is unacceptable and blatant discrimination that not only harms trans, nonbinary and intersex individuals, but limits the potential of all athletes,” Patel said in a statement.

“It’s important to recognize that these discriminatory policies don’t enhance fairness in competition,” she claimed. “Instead, they send a message of exclusion and reinforce dangerous stereotypes that harm all women.”

At least 24 states currently have laws barring transgender women and girls from competing in certain women’s or girls sports competitions.

NAIA ban and the state laws, “emphasize[d] the urgency in having clear Title IX rules that expressly prohibit this type of sex-based discrimination, and ensure the rights of all students, including transgender, nonbinary, and intersex athletes, are safeguarded,” Patel said. “Trans athletes deserve a chance to play.”

Last month, more than a dozen current and former college athletes filed a federal lawsuit against the NCAA, accusing the sports governing body for more than 500,000 athletes of violating their rights by allowing transgender women to compete in women’s sports.

Hours after the NAIA announcement, the NCAA released a statement: “College sports are the premier stage for women’s sports in America and the NCAA will continue to promote Title IX, make unprecedented investments in women’s sports and ensure fair competition for all student-athletes in all NCAA championships.”

The Biden adminstration previously declared that it would revise the definition of “women” in the landmark Title IX gender-equity law to include biological males who decide to identify as women.

It threatened to penalize schools at the secondary and university level for refusal to accept the new rule by witholding funding from the Education Department.

Critics point out that the bizarre change effectively subverts the spirit of the original law by weaponizing it to achieve the opposite of its intended purpose, which was to equalize the existing competitive advantages from which male sports had long benefited.

Yet, after a decision earlier this year to split the Title IX rule from another policy change addressing campus sexual assaults, the rule change benefiting trans athletes now remains in limbo.

“It’s similar to the NIL stuff with all these different state laws,” said Kasey Havekost, a former Division I athlete who is now a higher education attorney at Bricker Graydon.

“The NCAA kind of does something but nothing really happens, and they look to the federal government, and the federal government is slow to put something in place, and then we’re left with all these different state laws,” she added.

Havekost expects lawsuits will follow and challenge the NAIA policy on the basis of Title IX laws.

“I feel like at some point, it will have to be addressed,” she said. “It’s a really complex issue. It might take a Supreme Court ruling.”

The NCAA has had a policy for transgender athlete participation in place since 2010, which called for one year of testosterone suppression treatment and documented testosterone levels submitted before championship competitions.

In 2022, the NCAA revised its policies on transgender athlete participation in an attempt to align with national sport governing bodies, following the lead of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

The three-phase implementation of the policy included a continuation of the 2010 policy, requiring transgender athletes to be on hormone replacement therapy for at least one year, plus the submission of a hormone-level test before the start of both the regular season and championship events.

The third phase adds national and international sport governing body standards to the NCAA’s policy and—after a delay—is scheduled to be implemented for the 2024-25 school year on Aug. 1.

Despite the disproportionate effect they have in creating an unfair advantage in competitive sports, the number of individuals impacted by the transgender ban remains relatively small.

There are some 15.3 million public high school students in the United States and a 2019 study by the CDC estimated 1.8% of them—about 275,000—are transgender.

The number of athletes within that group is much smaller; a 2017 survey by Human Rights Campaign suggested fewer than 15% of all transgender boys and transgender girls play sports.

The number of NAIA transgender athletes would be far smaller.

FBI Releases File on Ashli Babbitt

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The FBI released a set of documents on its investigation of the death of Ashli Babbitt, the protestor shot and killed by a Capitol Police officer on Jan. 6, 2021.

The 69 pages of documents, released by the FBI on Monday, are heavily redacted and don’t appear to reveal much new information. They do show that the FBI received numerous tips from the public. One document is also labelled as “protect identity,” which is used when the FBI wants to conceal the identity of a confidential human source, or CHS.

The most revealing documents appears to be an interview the FBI conducted with someone who knew Babbitt from her days in the Air Force. That person “characterized Babbitt as very outgoing, opinionated, loud, very intelligent, loyal, sweet, very loving and caring,” the FBI memo of that interview said.Notes of an interview the FBI conducted with an unnamed friend of Ashli Babbitt's.

“At times, Babbitt was not a fan of her chain of command and made her views known. Babbitt was a leader rather than a follower and liked being her own boss,” the FBI record said.

Babbitt’s military friend also told the FBI that she was not a violent person and should not have been shot.

“[REDACTED] judged that she likely did not know the risk of passing through the window,” the FBI record said. “Babbitt would never ‘go after someone physically,’ according to [REDACTED].”

Additionally, the person told the FBI that they were frustrated by the media painting Babbitt as being associated with white nationalists, which wasn’t accurate.

The FBI’s release of the Babbitt file comes as it continues to litigate a Freedom of INforamtion Act lawsuit from Judicial Watch over Babbitt records.

“Ashli Babbitt was the only homicide victim on January 6, yet the FBI has been illicitly hiding its files on Ashli Babbitt from her family for a year,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton has said of the situation. “Why the cover-up?”

Babbitt, a 14-year Air Force veteran, was shot and killed by Lt. Michael Byrd while crawling through a window in the Capitol building during the Jan. 6 protests.

Byrd has claimed that he acted with “the utmost courage” and “saved countless lives.”

However, earlier records obtained by Judicial Watch found that other officers at the scene did not see a weapon in Babbitt’s hands prior to the shooting and that they did not hear Byrd issue any verbal commands prior to the shooting. Lt. Byrd later confessed that he shot Ashli before seeing her hands or assessing her intentions or even identifying her as female.

The Capitol Police is also facing a wrongful-death lawsuit over Babbitt’s death.

REPORT: Michigan Might Lose 700K Residents by 2050

(A Michigan report says up to 700,000 people could leave the state by 2050.

An April report, which does not measure inbound migration, from the Michigan Center of Data and Analytics says Michigan’s population has shifted to mostly older people and more residents are dying than being born.

The report said Michigan’s population has experienced “essentially zero growth” since 2002.

From the mid-1980s, when the state’s population hit a low point of slightly more than 9 million, to the early 2000s, growth in the state was booming.

It peaked at just above 10 million then, before proceeding to dip back down, perhaps because of shifts in the automobile industry.

In 2022, Michigan recorded about 100,800 births, less than half the births at the baby boom peak in 1957. By 2050, births could drop to under 80,000 per year.

Michigan total population, historic and projected
Michigan total population, historic and projected / SOURCE: 1900-2000 Decennial Censuses, 2010 and 2021 One-Year American Community Survey, Population Estimates Program, 2023, U.S. Census Bureau sourced from IPUMS USA; National Population Projections, U.S. Census Bureau; 2024 Vintage Population Projections, Net Positive Migration Scenario, Michigan Center for Data and Analytics

“Given the record low total fertility the state has experienced recently, it is projected that the next generation will be smaller yet, and continue contributing to population aging in the state,” the report says.

It says the “number of women ages 21 through 40 declined by about 300,000 from 1990 to 2010.” Because of this, the report says, “Substantial population growth from natural increase is unlikely in the foreseeable future.”

Leftists suggested that the data supported a case for importing even more illegal immigrants into the battleground state. However, many of the illegals being imported from the southern border are single adult males, meaning immigration is unlikely to provide any solution to the declining birth rates.

Meanwhile, radical leftist Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and her Democrat surrogates have sought to codify the right to abortion in the state constitution, further reducing the live-born population.

In 2022, voters gave Michigan Democrats a political trifecta—the majority in the House, Senate, and the governor’s seat.

State Rep. Mike Harris, R-Waterford, said that Michigan’s infrastructure and education problems were fueling population loss.

“Democrat policies have Michigan barreling down the wrong track,” Waterford wrote in an email. “People are bailing as costs rise, roads crumble, and students fall further behind.”

Unlike states like South Dakota, where conservative Gov. Kristi Noem has actively launched a campaign to incentivize the relocation of young professionals through job training and other enticing lures, Whitmer’s policies—particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic— have incentivized emigration from the state.

Nonetheless, the George Soros-backed Whitmer did form a commission last year to study the problem of population loss.

“I have assumptions, but I want data,” Whitmer said at the time.

“I want expertise that is informing the work,” she continued. “I don’t profess to have all of the answers. That’s why I’m soliciting real thought leaders.”

Democrats created the Michigan Growing Council to reverse population loss, led by Chief Growth Officer Hilary Doe, who makes $180,000 annually.

However, Harris said there was no need to further waste tax dollars on the issue, when reckless tax-and-spend policies were at the root of the underlying issue.

“Bad policies resulting in higher taxes, more expensive electric bills, and burdensome red tape are driving away businesses and adding fuel to our population loss,” he said. “The situation will only get worse if we don’t turn things around from Democrats’ disastrous agenda and rebuild a state and economy that will attract new businesses and residents.”

Michigan is in the bottom third of national rankings in key statistics, including 34th in household income, 36th in K-12 educational outcomes, and infrastructure reliability.

A 2023 Citizen’s Research Council of Michigan report estimated that 270,000 people will leave the state by 2050.

The report says Michigan’s infrastructure is worse than the national average, which hurts resident retention through frequent and long power outages, rough roads, and outdated water systems.

The Council’s draft report suggests piloting first-time homebuyer programs, relocation, and alternative underwriting incentives to encourage new graduates to stay in Michigan.

The series found Michigan has stagnant population growth, brain drain, a shrinking workforce, declining health, and increasingly outdated infrastructure.

Sen. Paul: 15 Federal Agencies Knew of Fauci-Funded COVID Experiments in 2018

(Matthew Doarnberger, Headline USA) Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky, said Tuesday that he’s uncovered evidence that government officials from 15 federal agencies knew as early as 2018 of risky coronavirus experiments conducted by the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

In an article published on Fox News,Paul said members of these 15 agencies were briefed in early 2018 on what was called the “DEFUSE” project, which was proposed by the EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan Institute of Virology in order to create a virus like COVID-19.

Paul explained that DEFUSE was presented to the 15 agencies at an event hosted by DARPA, where potential applicants presented proposals to agency representatives. During this event Peter Daszak of EcoHealth Alliance pitched the DEFUSE project, which sought federal funds to “manipulate known viruses with spike proteins of novel viral strains,” Paul said.

Officials involved in DEFUSE (that we know so far) include Daszak, University of North Carolina scientist Ralph Baric and researcher Ian Lipkin.

“At least 15 federal agencies knew from the beginning of the pandemic that EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan Institute of Virology were seeking federal funding in 2018 to create a virus genetically very similar if not identical to COVID-19,” Paul said Tuesday in a press release.

“Disturbingly, not one of these 15 agencies spoke up to warn us that the Wuhan Institute of Virology had been pitching this research.”

Similarly, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) was both briefed about the desire to create the virus and listed as a participant in the initial DEFUSE pitch, while under the direction of Dr. Anthony Fauci.

In addition, Fauci’s Rocky Mountain Lab was a partner along with the Wuhan Institute of Virology in the proposal. The Rocky Mountain Lab was revealed last November to have conducted experiments on bats infected with coronaviruses in 2018.

As a result of the secrecy of the government secrecy, DEFUSE remained unknown until Marine Lt. Col. Joseph Murphy blew the whistle in 2021.

In January of 2022, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-WI, requested information from the Department of Defense as a result of details about the project disclosed by Lt. Col. (then Major) Murphy while he was working at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

Following these findings, Sen. Paul sent letters to the fifteen agencies in question requesting further information.

Tucker Uncensored: Ex-Fox Host Opens for Kid Rock, Speaks on ‘F**ked Up’ Country

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Conservative media star Tucker Carlson made an appearance at a Gonzalez, Louisiana Kid Rock concert, introducing the rock star and offering a commentary on the state of the country.

Footage was captured of Carlson speaking his mind more freely than usual and posted to Twitter.

Carlson delivered several minutes’ worth of comments opening Kid Rock’s summer tour, Rock the Country, focusing on the state of America and what it means to be an American.

According to Carlson, Kid Rock invited him to open the concert while they had dinner several months ago, though he was at a loss as to what to say until he was inspired by the people of small town Louisiana.

“I woke up this morning and I went on the internet,” he began, noting that he “read all these stories and I thought to myself ‘This is the most depressing thing that’s happened to me in a long time. This country is f***** up.'”

Struggling to come up with something, Carlson said that he arrived at the concert, saw the crowd, and thought, “No, no it’s not.”

“The country that I experience when I walk through this crowd or when I wake up in my town of 100 people in a rural area is a beautiful country,” he said, adding that it is “filled with beautiful people.”

The former Fox News host praised the people of rural Louisiana for being good Americans, who, he suggested, are sometimes rough around the edges and difficult to govern.

“If you could take one person out of this nation of 350 million people and present it to the rest of the world and say ‘What’s a real American look like?’ … I would say that American would be both disobedient but decent,” he told the concert attendees.

“That American would both give you the finger and burst out laughing at the same time.”

WATCH: Self-Purported CIA Agent Says 20 FBI Agents Were in Jan. 6 Crowd

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) A group called “Sound Investigations” released a video Tuesday of an undercover reporter talking to a self-purported CIA “contracting officer” and former FBI agent, who said that the bureau had at least 20 undercover agents in the Capitol Hill protest crowd on Jan. 6, 2021.

The man in the video was identified as Gavin O’Blennis, who claimed to be a former FBI agent and current CIA officer. There is no proof that O’Blennis is who he claimed to be on video.

Appearing to be on a date with the undercover reporter—much like how Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe scored many of his scoops—O’Blennis described how the FBI can entrap people it doesn’t like, including supporters of Infowars host Alex Jones.

“You can kind of put anyone in jail if you know what to do,” he said, prompting the reporter to ask, “How?”

“You set them up,” O’Blennis explained. “You create the situation to where they have no choice but to act on their impulse. And once they act on that impulse… Some would call that entrapment, it’s a fine line. We get really close. As close as we can … We call it a ‘nudge,’” he said.

O’Blennis also claimed that there were at least 20 FBI agents in the Jan. 6 crowd. He said he knows some of the agents, who now also work for the CIA.

O’Blennis didn’t describe the Jan. 6 agents as being part of an entrapment operation. Rather, they were there for crowd control, he said.

“There wasn’t enough … They maybe had 20. You needed 1,000 to control that crowd,” he said, adding, “That’s also Capitol Police jurisdiction. They’re in charge.”

O’Blennis’s claims caused a stir online. Observers soon found that his LinkedIn profile says he works for Homeland Security as an immigration services analyst—raising the question of whether he was lying to the undercover reporter, or if he really is a CIA operative.

While O’Blennis claimed that there were about 20 undercover FBI agents in the Jan. 6 crowd, Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., has claimed to have seen evidence of as many of 200.

“They had, I suspect, over 200 agents embedded in the crowd, including agents—or as they would call it, human assets—inside the Capitol dressed as Trump supporters before the door was opened,” Higgins told Newsmax last November.

“Beyond that, the FBI had infiltrated online chat groups and websites and social media accounts across the country, with any group that was discussing objections to COVID oppression. The FBI effectively infiltrated those groups,” he said.

“When you track the text threads and the communications within those groups, and you find the origins of suggestions of potential violence or an act of occupation of the Capitol, you’ll find those messages were led by members of the groups that ended up being the FBI agents who infiltrated the group.”

Higgins has yet to produce evidence for his claims, but there is plenty of evidence that informants participated in the Jan. 6 event.

One such informant who stormed the Capitol was recently given “time served” for a felony gun charge due to his infiltration of the Proud Boys ahead of Jan. 6.

“He has changed his thinking and actually worked as a paid FBI informant who infiltrated the Charlotte chapter of the Proud Boys and gave agents valuable information about the organization,” the Capitol-storming informant’s lawyer said in a separate case in September, pleading for a lenient sentence.

During the Proud Boys sedition trial, the DOJ disclosed at least another 10 to 12 undercover DC Metropolitan Police Department officers who participated in Jan. 6.

The defense in that case estimated that there were at least 50 law enforcement assets in the Jan. 6 crowd, adding that “there are reasons to suspect the true number [of informants] is higher.”

Most FBI offices involved in the Jan. 6 investigation don’t even know how many informants were in the crowd, according to FBI whistleblower George Hill, who alleged in May that officials in DC withheld such information from other offices.

Leftist Columnist Claims ‘MAGA Rage’ Is Behind NYC Women Being Punched In The Face

(Headline USA) A columnist for Salon claimed this week that “MAGA rage” is behind a violent trend of men in New York City randomly punching white women in the face.

In her article published Monday, Amanda Marcotte claimed the same “misogyny” behind support for former President Donald Trump is behind the sporadic attacks on women, many of which have been traced back to the same man, Skiboky Stora. There are three other suspects as well, according to New York police.

Marcotte interviewed six of the female victims, writing, “These stories resonate, as well, because the nation is having a moment of increasingly unhinged male fury at women for daring to have lives that are centered around something other than catering to a man’s every whim. Unleashed by Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, there’s an upswell of loud male entitlement shouting at us from every corner.”

She went on to cite Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, “trade wives,” and NFL fans who dislike Taylor Swift as other examples of this “MAGA rage” against women.

Critics were quick to blast the leftist writer, pointing out that the suspects accused of attacking the women have been repeat criminals.

“Actually, drug-crazed and violent criminals target people who can’t fight back, and that’s usually unarmed women. We can fix the problem by locking these men in prison or psych wards. It’s really that simple, and doesn’t require a ninth-grade feminist think piece in Salon,” replied New York City Councilwoman Vickie Paladino.

Marcotte, however, dismissed the criticism, insisting that it proved she was right all along.

“Man, I knew this article was super true when I wrote it, but the hateful emails MAGA men are sending doubly prove it. Hit dogs, as they say, holler,” she wrote on X. “Oh men, just know that your angry emails are going unread.”

Teenager Ensnared in FBI Terror Sting w/ At Least 3 Informants and an Undercover Agent

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The FBI arrested an 18-year-old Saturday on terrorism charges after targeting him for years in an investigation that involved at least three undercover informants and an undercover agent.

The Justice Department announced the arrest Monday, revealing that the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force investigated Idaho teenager Alexander Scott Mercurio for attempting to provide material support and resources to ISIS.

“His plan involved using flame-covered weapons, explosives, knives, a machete, a pipe, and ultimately firearms,” the DOJ said in its criminal complaint.

According to Mercurio’s charging papers, the FBI discovered the teenager when it was investigating a terrorism-financing network in 2021. The FBI discovered that Mercurio—who would have been 15 or 16 at the time—was talking to two individuals who were providing funds for ISIS and its Afghanistan-based affiliate, ISIS-K.

One of the individuals who was talking to Mercurio—referred to in charging papers as “individual-2”—likely died around July 2022, according to the DOJ. After that happened, an FBI informant assumed individual-2’s identity.

Mercurio would communicate with the FBI informant for over the next year, allegedly expressing his desire to commit acts of terrorism. Mercurio also revealed in October 2022 that his parents sent him to therapy—suggesting a possible mental illness at play with this case.

In late 2023 and early this year, however, Mercurio was apparently wavering. In one message, he told the FBI informant that he doesn’t “want to fight and die for the sale of Allah.”

“I just want to die and have all my problems go away,” he said.

But on March 21, he messaged the informant again with a plan to “attack with a homemade flamethrower. Primarily against Churches.”

Mercurio also messaged a second FBI informant about committing jihad.

According to the charging papers, that informant first targeted the teenager in person on Feb. 16, entering his father’s office and asking to take him out to lunch. The informant would give Mercurio an ISIS flag and take a picture of him posed in front of it.

Additionally, Mercurio messaged a third FBI informant on April 2 and 3, telling the informant that he planned on carrying out an attack the following Sunday, April 7. The FBI arrested him the day before, finding a metal pipe, handcuffs, a folding saw, two cannisters of butane fuel, an ISIS flag—which was provided to him by the second FBI informant—and other equipment in his room.

If convicted, Mercurio faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison.

Entrapping Autistic Teens

Mercurio’s arrest marked at least the fifth teenager arrested by the FBI over the last year in highly dubious terrorism stings.

Last July, then-18-year-old  Davin Meyer was arrested as he was about to board an international flight—also out of Denver—allegedly to travel to the Middle East and fight for ISIS. Meyer’s mother, who originally approached law enforcement out of concern for her son, said that the FBI entrapped the boy.

Before Meyer was arrested in July, the FBI announced in June that it arrested 18-year-old Mateo Ventura for intending to support ISIS. However, Ventura’s father, has also accused the FBI of entrapping his son.

Along with Meyer and Ventura, the FBI arrested a 17-year-old boy last August for supposedly plotting to carry out an ISIS-inspired terrorist attack on American soil.

Most recently, the FBI arrested arrested a teenager in December who was supposedly on his way from Denver to fight for ISIS in the Middle East. But like the others, the details of that case show that the teenager, 18-year-old Humzah Mashkoor, was targeted online since he was 16 by at least four undercover FBI agents. And moreover, Mashkoor suffers from mental illness and has high-functioning autism, according to his family.
