Kamala Clashes w/ Anti-Israel Protester During Speech: ‘I’m Speaking Right Now’

(Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris snapped at an anti-Israel protester who interrupted her remarks at a Democratic fundraiser in Detroit on Saturday, Mediaite reported.

Harris was speaking at the Michigan Democratic Party Legacy Dinner in an effort to smooth over relations with the critical swing state, where President Joe Biden’s handling of the Gaza conflict lost him tens of thousands of critical Democratic votes in the state’s primary election earlier this year.

But as Harris began to address the bloodshed in Gaza, she was interrupted repeatedly by hecklers, with one woman screaming over and over again, “It’s genocide!”

Harris paused her speech to confront the protester.

“For the past eight months, President Biden and I have been working every day to bring this conflict—I’m speaking right now,” she castigated the hecker. “I value and respect your voice, but I’m speaking right now.”

Security then dragged the protester out of the room.

The protesters’ actions, however, clearly had their intended effect.

“It’s time for this war to end,” Harris said after the heckling had died down. “We have been working every day to bring an end to this conflict in a way that ensures Israel is secure, brings home all hostages, ends ongoing suffering for Palestinian people and ensures that Palestinians can enjoy their right to self determination, dignity and freedom.”

Harris has been one of the most openly critical members of the Biden administration when it comes to Israel’s campaign in Gaza. During the same speech in Michigan, Harris publicly bemoaned the loss of Palestinian lives during Israel’s rescue mission of Israeli hostages that had been held in Gaza by Hamas terrorists.

“We mourn all of the innocent lives that have been lost in Gaza, including those tragically killed today,” Harris said.

The four hostages rescued from Gaza were Noa Argamani, Andrey Kozlov, Almog Meir Jan and Shlomi Ziv.

Alvin Bragg Refuses to Testify Before House Until Trump’s July 11 Sentencing

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg said on June 7, 2024, that he won’t testify about his witchhunt on Donald Trump in his falsified business records document until Trump is sentenced in July.

In a letter to House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan on June 7, 2024, Bragg’s general counsel Leslie Dubeck wrote that Bragg’s office is “committed to voluntary cooperation” after Jordan requested that Bragg testify before the Weaponization of the Government subcommittee on June 13, 2024, the Post Millennial reported.

The news came after Trump was found guilty in late May on 34 felony counts of falsified business records brought forth by the corrupt Bragg’s office.

“That cooperation includes making the District Attorney available to provide testimony on behalf of the Office at an agreed-upon date, and evaluating the propriety of allowing an Assistant District Attorney to testify publicly about an active prosecution to which he is assigned,” the letter said.

After that, Dubeck said the proposed date would not work because of scheduling conflicts.

“However, the proposed date that the Subcommittee selected without consulting the Office presents various scheduling conflicts. In addition, the Committee’s invitation has not made clear the scope of the proposed testimony; and trial court proceedings in People v. Trump are currently scheduled to continue through July 11, 2024,” Dubeck wrote.

Participating in such a public hearing would be “potentially detrimental” to “protecting the fair administration of justice,” Dubeck wrote in the letter, adding that Bragg would be willing to testify at a hearing at a later date.

“They just sent us a letter back today saying they’re willing to talk to us, so we’ll see. But we may have to, you know, go with a subpoena to get him [Bragg] to testify as well,” Jordan told Headline USA in an exclusive interview.

He also said that he was willing to subpoena Bragg if he refused to testify before the subcommittee, questioning in an interview last week why Bragg would need to wait until after Trump’s sentencing, the news source reported.

Celtics Coach Silences Race-Baiting Leftist Press by Emphasizing Christian Values

(Matthew Doarnberger, Headline USA) As his team battling the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals, Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla used his faith to take a unique approach in responding to a question from the media at a press conference on Saturday.

Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports asked Mazzulla about the fact that both he and Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd are black, noting that two black head coaches hadn’t faced each other in the finals since 1975.

“Given the plight sometimes of black head coaches in the NBA, do you think this is a significant moment?” Goodwill asked. “Do you take pride in this? How do you view this, or do you not see it at all?”

Mazzulla, a devout Catholic, opted to focus on his faith rather than his skin color.

“I wonder how many of those have been Christian coaches,” he replied.

Following this response, the press went silent for several moments as they were not prepared on how to answer the Boston coach.

Despite the positive reception that the response mostly got, Goodwill, who is also black, was less than enthusiastic when writing a follow-up article to his question.

“It isn’t Mazzulla’s fault the history is the history, but he should at least be aware of it,” the sports writer opined.

“Ignoring race in these matters isn’t progress, because it can infer that seeing someone as black means something negative,” he added, before injecting critical race theory into his analysis. “Colorblindness is impossible, and seeing someone’s blackness or the black experience as a positive could be the ultimate sign of progress.”

The comment by a coach at the top of his game echoed the recent commencement address by Kansas City Chiefs placekicker Harrison Butker, during which the consecutive Super Bowl-winning champ condemned abortion and encouraged women to pursue motherhood as their God-given role, roiling many feminists and other leftist critics.

This isn’t the first time Mazzulla has replied with an answer that demonstrates his religious outspokenness. In December of 2022, he was asked about the British Royal Family attending a Celtics game.

“Jesus, Mary and Joseph? I’m only familiar with one royal family.”

The Celtics currently have a 2-0 lead on the Mavericks in the series. Game three is Wednesday night in Dallas.

Lying ‘Intel’ Officials Stand by Debunked ‘Russian Disinfo’ Claim on Biden Laptop

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The infamous intelligence officials who falsely labeled Hunter Biden’s laptop as “Russian disinformation” have shown no remorse for their failed attempt to shield Joe Biden from scandal, reported Breitbart on Monday.

Not one of the 51 signatories has retracted their claims. They penned a notorious letter during the 2024 presidential election, asserting that the laptop—which confirmed Joe Biden’s involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s dubious business dealings—was fake.

But it was not.

James Clapper, former Director of National Intelligence under Obama, stated he had no regrets about signing the letter, despite the FBI confirming during Hunter Biden’s criminal trial that the laptop was genuine.

Ronald Marks, Marc Polymeropoulos, Douglas Wise, Paul Kolbe, John Sipher, Emile Nakhleh and Gerald O’Shea, also signatories, claimed through their attorney that signing the letter was “patriotic.”

“There continues to be by many a calculated or woefully ignorant interpretation of the October 2020 letter signed by fifty-one former intelligence officials concerning Hunter Biden’s laptop,” they claimed in remarks to Fox News.

“A careful and objective reading of the document reflects that even today its content is accurate,” they falsely asserted, describing the letter as merely a “warning” about potential foreign interference in U.S. elections.

Greg Treverton, the former chair of the National Intelligence Council, dismissed the controversy, calling the letter “very old news” and insisting his statements were “true.” They were not.

Russ Travers, former Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, claimed the letter had been “addressed” several years ago. It had not.

The letter, initially published by Politico’s infamous Natasha Bertrand, argued that the trove of emails on the laptop—which revealed Joe Biden’s active role in Hunter’s business dealings—had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

They added, “If we are right, this is Russia trying to influence how Americans vote in this election, and we believe strongly that Americans need to be aware of this.”

Despite their attempts to dismiss the laptop as fake news, it was not.

The DOJ ultimately used the same laptop as evidence in a criminal prosecution against Hunter Biden for allegedly lying on a federal gun form about his drug abuse.

Trump Tells Crowd of Supporters He Won’t Tax Tips

(Matthew Doarnberger, Headline USA) Speaking to a crowd of supporters in Las Vegas on Sunday, former president Donald Trump declared that, if re-elected, he would end taxation on tips for those in the service industry, according to The Hill.

“For those hotel workers and people that get tips, you’re going to be very happy,” he said. “Because when I get to office, we are going to not charge taxes on tips.”

Trump went on to say that he would attempt to accomplish this as soon as he assumes office and went on to compliment those in the industry for their commitment to their professions.

“We’re going to do that right away, first thing in office, because it’s been a point of contention for years and years and years,” he said.

“And you do a great job of service,” he added. “You take care of people, and I think it’s going to be something that really is deserved.”

The elimination of taxes on tipped income would require congressional approval. As a result, Trump’s plan could hinge on whether or not Republicans can obtain the majority in the Senate and retain the majority in the House. Regardless of electoral outcome, Congress will likely assess tax policy when Trump’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Cut Act is set to expire next year.

Following the rally, the former president went on the internet site Truth Social in an attempt to contrast his vision on tax rates with that of President Joe Biden.

“Crooked Joe Biden has taken the totally opposite approach, trying to TAX more and more of their Tips, even hiring 88,000 IRS Agents to collect!”

As current tax law stands, employees receiving tips must report them to the IRS as income. The changes Trump is proposing could appeal to the large sector of employees in Nevada, where income is heavily reliant on tips. A Republican presidential candidate has not won the state since 2004.

The current polling average from RealClearPolitics has Trump leading in the state by 5.3 percentage points over Biden.

Mother of Four Swallowed Whole by 20-Foot Python

Editor’s note: Video contains graphic images that may be unsuitable for some audiences.

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Searchers found a middle aged mother of four who went missing in Indonesia dead inside the belly of a 20 foot python, according to the Independent.

Farida, 45, left her home on Thursday night to sell food at a local market when she ran into the snake.

Authorities suspect that the snake bit her, then coiled around her unconscious body to suffocate her, then swallowed her whole.

Farida’s husband, Noni, found the engorged snake near his wife’s belongings, scattered around the forest floor.

Villagers caught the snake and cut it open, finding Farida inside.

“Several other villages then helped him to catch the python,” said Suardi Rosi, head of the village of Kalempang. “The body of his wife was found in the stomach of a snake. She was taken away to his house before being buried.”

Noni and many other villagers mourned Farida’s death as they carried her body to the village.

“I feel sorry for the suffering she went through,” said Noni. “I am sorry for our family.”

Python attacks are rare, but not unheard of–particularly in Indonesia.

Residents of Sulawesi’s Tinanggea district killed a 26-foot-long python in 2023 as it was in the midst of attempting to eat a local farmer.

In 2018, a 23-foot snake devoured a 54-year-old woman in a nearby district.

The largest python in recorded history was 32 feet long, weighing 350 pounds.

Pythons usually feed on small rodents, but also eat pigs, cows, bearcats and primates.

The snakes are sensitive to vibrations, heat and light, and usually avoid human settlements.

According to the local police chief, Noni’s and Farida’s home is close to a cliff known to be home to many snakes.

“I am forever sorry that I let my wife go out alone,” Noni said, according to Metro. “If I had been with her that day, the snake would not have dared to touch her.”

Chicago’s Far-Left Mayor Had Lavish $30K Beauty Bill

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson blew $30,000 in campaign donations on makeup and other beauty products during his mayoral run, the Daily Mail reported.

According to the Friends of Brandon Johnson campaign fund, most of the cash was sent to Denise Milloy, a makeup artist in Chicago.

Johnson, a radical Democrat, became mayor in 2023 after he defeated opponent Paul Vallas in a run-off election.

His campaign charged the makeup expenses under headings such as “candidate makeup for TV,” or “candidate makeup for debate.” Since taking office, Johnson’s lavish beauty costs have fallen simply under the heading, “campaign expenses.”

Bill Neidhardt, a campaign advisor for Johnson, said that the use of campaign funds spent on beauty products is actually a good thing, because he is being an anti-racist.

“He is using his own campaign funds to pay [b]lack- and women-owned businesses a fair wage in compensation for their work in preparing the mayor and individuals associated with the campaign for public appearances, events, media segments, and other availabilities,” Neidhardt wrote.

According to Neidhardt, it is important for Johnson to appear professional at all times, and this justifies his massive beauty bill.

“He’s mayor 24-7,” the advisor said. “Appearances matter.”

Though Johnson initially presented himself as a change away from corrupt ex-mayor Lori Lightfoot, claiming that he would clean up the city and make local government more transparent, it appears that they are more similar than it first seemed.

In the midst of the 2020 COVID lockdowns, for instance, Lightfoot closed down the city but continued to get luxury haircuts for herself.

“I am practicing social distancing,” Lightfoot claimed. “The woman who cut my hair had a mask and gloves on. So, I’m practicing what I’m preaching.”

She even used similar reasoning to Johnson’s, arguing that “as [an] elected official and the public face of the city, I need to make sure that I am out there and visible through this crisis.”

Martha’s Vineyard Faces Biggest Crisis Since Illegal Immigrant Invasion: Weed Shortage

(Headline USA) When Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis flew illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard to make a point to leftist elites about NIMBYism by taking the Biden administration’s open-border policy to their own exclusive vacation enclave, it was the sort of trauma many on the island assume would be a once-in-a-lifetime occurrance.

But now, for the second year running, disaster has struck the Massachusetts island that former President Barack Obama and many other wealthy celebrities call their second or third home.

They’re almost out of weed.

An 81-year-old woman on Martha’s Vineyard drove up to the Island Time dispensary last week seeking her usual order of pot. But owner Geoff Rose had to tell her the cupboard was bare—he’d been forced to temporarily close three weeks earlier after selling every last bud and gummy.

Unless something changes, the island’s only other cannabis dispensary will sell all its remaining supplies by September at the latest, and Martha’s Vineyard will run out of pot entirely, affecting more than 230 registered medical users and thousands more recreational ones.

The problem boils down to location. Although Massachusetts voters opted to legalize marijuana more than seven years ago, the state’s Cannabis Control Commission has taken the position that transporting pot across the ocean—whether by boat or plane—risks running afoul of federal laws. That’s despite a counterargument that there are routes to Martha’s Vineyard that remain entirely within state territorial waters.

The conundrum led Rose to file a lawsuit last month against the commission, which now says that finding a solution to the island’s pot problem has become a top priority. Three of the five commissioners visited Martha’s Vineyard on Thursday to hear directly from affected residents.

The tension between conflicting state and federal regulations has played out across the country as states have legalized pot. California law, for example, expressly allows cannabis to be transported to stores on Catalina Island, while Hawaii last year dealt with its own difficulties transporting medical marijuana between islands by amending a law to allow it.

Federal authorities have also been shifting their position. The Justice Department last month moved to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug, though still not a legal one for recreational use.

For several years, sellers on Martha’s Vineyard and the nearby island of Nantucket thought they had a solution. They grew and tested their own pot, eliminating the need to import any from across the water.

But Fine Fettle, a Connecticut-based company that had been the sole commercial grower on Martha’s Vineyard and also runs the island’s other dispensary, told Rose last year that it planned to stop growing pot on Martha’s Vineyard and would close its store when its existing supplies ran out.

Benjamin Zachs, who runs Fine Fettle’s Massachusetts operations, said that when the company opened in Martha’s Vineyard, it knew it was illegal to transport marijuana across federal waterways.

“Candidly, when it started, we thought this was a good thing for business,” Zachs said. “A captured market.”

But over time, pot became cheaper with more varied options on the Massachusetts mainland, while the costs of employing testers on the island rose, making it uneconomic to continue such a niche operation, Zachs said. He added that many people bring their own supplies over on the ferry.

But for people living on the island, taking the ferry to buy pot can be expensive and time-consuming. There’s no dispensary in Woods Hole, where the ferry lands, so they either need to take an Uber from there or bring over a car, and space for vehicles is in hot demand over summer.

That leaves medical users such as Sally Rizzo wondering how they will access marijuana. She finds the drug helps relieve her back problems and insomnia.

“The nice thing about getting it at a dispensary is that you can tell them specifically what you’re looking for, and know the milligrams, and know the potency, and what’s in it,” said Rizzo, who submitted an affidavit in support of Rose’s lawsuit.

Rose, 77, has lived on Martha’s Vineyard for more than 20 years and opened his Island Time store three years ago. For now, he’s keeping his core staff of five on the payroll.

The dispensary’s green logo looks like a hippyish take on the famous Starbucks emblem, with a relaxed woman smelling a bloom under the words “Stop and smell the flower.” But Rose is anything but relaxed these days.

“I’m on the verge of going out of business,” he said. “While I acknowledge the efforts of the commission to address the issue, I really felt that the only way to get some immediate relief was to file a lawsuit. I was not going to sit on the sidelines. I had to do something.”

Rose was joined in his lawsuit by the Green Lady dispensary on Nantucket, which for now continues to have its own homegrown supply but also faces the same high costs of onsite testing.

In the lawsuit, Rose outlines how he told the commission in November that his business faced an existential crisis because Fine Fettle would no longer be growing pot. In March, he took a chance by buying some pot on the mainland and shipping it across on the ferry.

But the commission ordered Rose to stop selling the product he’d shipped over, putting it into an administrative hold. The commission eventually released the marijuana a few weeks later but told Rose he couldn’t ship over any more.

In his suit, Rose complains about the commission’s “arbitrary, unreasonable, and inconsistent policy against transport over state territorial waters.”

Island Time is represented by Vicente, a firm that specializes in cannabis cases. It agreed to delay an emergency injunction against the commission until June 12 after the commission said it would enter into settlement discussions.

“We’re cautiously optimistic that we’ll be able to reach resolution, but if we can’t, we’ll be prepared to make the arguments in court,” said Vicente lawyer Adam Fine.

Until last week, the commission maintained that it wouldn’t comment on pending litigation, other than to say there was no special accommodation to allow pot to be transported from the mainland to the islands. But when commissioners traveled to Martha’s Vineyard, they assured residents they were all on the same page.

“Obviously, this is a super priority for us, because we don’t want to see the collapse of an industry on the islands,” said commissioner Kimberly Roy.

She said nobody could have foreseen that there was going to be such a supply chain issue and they wanted to get it resolved.

“It’s a funny juxtaposition,” she said. “The entire industry is federally illegal. But that’s evolving, too. We are just trying to stay responsive and nimble.”

BREAKING: Sen. John Fetterman Hospitalized from Car Accident

(Headline USA) The increasingly conservative Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., was treated at a hospital for a bruised shoulder after a car accident Sunday morning, according to a statement from his Senate office. He was released from the hospital Sunday afternoon.

Fetterman, a Democrat, and his wife Gisele were “involved in a car accident with another driver,” the statement said, and were both evaluated at a local hospital and discharged within hours. The senator returned to his home in Braddock, Pennsylvania, and is expected to be back in the Senate for votes this week.

A spokeswoman for Fetterman, Carrie Adams, said that the senator was driving the car and the accident was on Interstate 70 in Maryland. The condition of the other driver is unclear.

Fetterman, 54, suffered a stroke in May 2022 as he was campaigning for his seat. As a result, he still has some trouble speaking fluidly and quickly processing spoken conversation, and he often uses devices in congressional hearings and routine conversations to transcribe spoken words in real time.

During his recovery, Fetterman has seemingly drifted to the right.

One of the more recent examples of this occurred in April, when he said that squatters have “no rights” and should be charged as criminals.

Fetterman’s apparent realignment had many cracking jokes online that the Democrats are trying to take him out.

“Has anyone seen Hillary,” one account joked.

Bombshell Internal Memo Tells Border Patrol to Ignore Biden’s ‘Order’ in All but 6 Countries

(Headline USA) The Biden administration has instructed Border Patrol agents in southern California to release illegal immigrants from countries in the Eastern Hemisphere directly into the U.S. because they are “hard” or “very hard” to remove, according to a bombshell memo obtained by the Washington Examiner.

The government document given to Border Patrol officials in San Diego, California advises that illegals from all but six of the more than 100 countries in the eastern half of the world—which includes the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Europe—be released rather than deported.

Only single adults from Georgia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan should be referred to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for removal.

“Please see updated Presidential Proclamation guidance below, this is effective immediately,” the Border Patrol instructional document states.

The order seems to directly contradict an executive order signed by President Joe Biden last week banning asylum for most illegal immigrants. When asked about this discrepancy, a Customs and Border Protection official claimed that just because these illegal immigrants are being released into the U.S. does not make them eligible for asylum, according to Fox News.

“We do think that the rules measures will allow us to impose an immediate and fast consequence to migrants no matter what country they’re coming from,” a senior administration official claimed in a statement.

Another administration official admitted in a background call with reporters that the updated guidance to San Diego’s Border Patrol is due to the inability of the administration to Eastern Hemisphere countries, such as China, to cooperate with deportations. Many of these countries refuse to take their citizens back, the official said.

Until the administration is able to reach agreements with uncooperative countries to take their citizens back, most illegal immigrants from the Eastern Hemisphere will continue to be released in the San Diego sector, the official acknowledged.
