New York AG Tries to Stop SCOTUS from Halting Trump Conviction

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) New York’s Attorney General Letitia James urged the Supreme Court on July 24, 2024, to stay out of Donald Trump’s porn star witchhunt, arguing that it should not grant a request by Missouri to pause his sentencing hearing and lift the gag order imposed on Trump in the case.

CNN reported that Republican Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey asked the Supreme Court earlier this month for permission to file a complaint against New York to pause Trump’s September sentencing hearing and lift the restrictions on his speech. He argued that New York infringed on Missouri voters’ right to hear from presidential candidates.

However, James told the Supreme Court in a new filing that Missouri had no legal basis for seeking that type of relief from the justices.

“[The relief] seriously undermines the integrity of the courts and risks setting a dangerous precedent that encourages a flood of similar, unmeritorious litigation,” she said.

Jame argued that Missouri can only obtain the type of relief sought through her state’s courts, not the Supreme Court.

“Allowing Missouri to file this suit for such relief against New York would permit an extraordinary and dangerous end-run around former President Trump’s ongoing state court proceedings and the statutory limitations on this Court’s jurisdiction to review state court decisions,” she wrote.

The news source also added that James argued that Missouri lacked the legal right—known as “standing”—to bring its complaint against her state because the harms Bailey said his residents would face without the high court’s intervention are “speculative.”

“The potential sentence and speech restrictions may prove no obstacle to the interests of people who wish to hear from former President Trump,” James wrote.

She also said that Trump’s sentencing in the case has already been moved to September “and may not occur” if the judge who oversaw the trial grants Trump’s request to set aside the verdict in light of the Supreme Court’s ruling granting him partial immunity.

James argued that Missouri’s request was nothing more than the state “impermissibly seeking to further the individual interests of former President Trump.”

FBI Briefed Congress w/ Fake Evidence on Trump Shooting

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Days after the July 13 assassination attempt against Donald Trump, Congress was provided information from the FBI that the shooter “previewed” his attack on a gaming platform called Steam.

“At least once, [Thomas Crooks’s] browsing history signaled concerns about his own mental state. He also seems to have previewed his attack on Steam, a gaming platform he frequented, telling fellow gamers he planned to make his ‘premiere’ on July 13, the day of the shooting,” The New York Times reported on July 17—an article that was corroborated by similar reporting from Fox News.

However, FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress on Wednesday that the Steam account in question did not, in fact, belong to Crooks. Wray admitted that his own agents were duped by a fake account—meaning that the FBI briefed Congress with fake evidence in the crucial hours following an assassination attempt against the presidential frontrunner.

“That’s a situation where in our effort to give real-time information, since we’ve provided that information, we’ve since learned that the July 13 ‘premier’ profile page on the gaming platform—it turns out, it was not the shooter. It was some other individual, who as a sick joke, after the shooting created the profile page pretending to be the shooter,” Wray said in response to questions from Rep. Benjamin Cline, R-Va.

“That person has since admitted to it,” Wray said, referring to the hoaxer. “Among the other challenges we as investigators have, we have people creating accounts pretending to be somebody when it’s not the actual person.”

Wray did say that Crooks had multiple accounts on gaming platforms.

“We do believe he was a gamer and that he did have different types of gaming accounts,” Wray said.

Wray said the FBI is still in the process of subpoenaing information from the various gaming platforms and chat apps used by Crooks.

As Headline USA has detailed, one of Crooks’s accounts was on Discord—a chatting app used by feds, intelligence contractors and an assortment of bad actors to target gamers.

Indeed, NBC News reported in April 2023 that the Biden White House is “looking at expanding the universe of online sites that intelligence agencies and law enforcement authorities track.”

Around that same time last year, investigative reporter Lee Fang also published a story about how the U.S. government is partnering with private intelligence firms to spy on gaming chatrooms—revealing that the online spooks are particularly interested in conducting surveillance on teenagers.

Fang quoted an unnamed official from the Israeli threat intelligence firm CyberInt, who said: “I prefer to detect threat actors when they’re young or starting out at 14 or 15. That’s when I start observing and documenting their malicious activities. Because when they’re at that age or stage in their career, they’re a lot more careless and open. They tend to show off more.”

The latest information on the government’s targeting of gamers came in February, when the Government Accountability Office reported that the FBI increased its efforts last year to infiltrate gaming servers.

“Officials said in 2023, the FBI worked to increase engagement with gaming and gaming-adjacent companies for the annual meeting and on outreach efforts with the program manager,” the GAO report said.

“Officials said that as the FBI works with more companies, it continues to learn how companies operate, the type of behavior and content companies see on their platforms, and the extent to which companies report information as tips.”

Huh? Doug Emhoff Reveals Gay Affinity at ‘Queer Men’ Fundraiser

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s remarks at a fundraiser for his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris, shed light on his affinity for and friendship with same-sex couples. 

Speaking at a “Black Gay and Queer Men for Harris” fundraiser, Emhoff recounted how he learned about President Joe Biden’s shocking decision to exit the 2024 ticket. 

As reported by Politico’s Playbook on Friday, Emhoff mentioned that he had just finished a SoulCycle class with a “gay couple friend” in West Hollywood when his friend’s partner alerted him to the news while grabbing coffee.

“My friend’s partner said, ‘You need to look at this,’” Emhoff told the attendees of a Queer Men for Harris call on Thursday. “I just went to the end — ‘cause I’m a lawyer, so I always go to the end. … He said, ‘No, look at the line above that.’” 

He added, “I didn’t have my phone, so I ran and ran and got into our car, and of course my phone is just on fire, and it’s basically, ‘Call Kamala! Call Kamala! Call Kamala!’” 

Emhoff said that Harris, now a presidential candidate, has barely spoken to him since announcing her presidential bid. 

“We’ve just been hustling; I’ve barely even seen her or talked to her since this all happened,” he concluded. 

The fundraiser, allegedly attended by nearly 2,500 individuals, was part of the Harris campaign’s plan to segregate supporters based on race, gender and even sexual orientation. 

Previous Harris-led events included fundraisers for “white women” and “black women.” It is set to host an upcoming event “white men” only. 

Emhoff will also host a fundraiser with Chasten Buttigieg, husband of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, at Fire Island, a popular destination for members of the gay community. The BBC described it as a “gay paradise of sex and liberation” in 2022. 

Harris, a self-described ally of the LGBT community, may face President Donald Trump in the 2024 general election.

Trump, the first president to appoint an openly gay man, Richard Grenell, to his cabinet, has also expressed support for the LGBT community.

Trump has enacted a no-tolerance foreign policy against Islamic terrorists targeting the LGBT.

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The 2024 Olympics in France opened Friday with a controversial ceremony featuring drag queens and what many described as homages to satanic symbolism, igniting a firestorm of negative reactions on Twitter.

“This is crazy,” podcast host Clint Russell said in a tweet. “There are 2.4 billion Christians on earth and apparently the Olympics wanted to declare loudly to all of them, right out of the gate NOT WELCOME.”

The infamous re-creation of Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper began with a woman in a blue dress and crown, making a heart sign with her hands in front of a DJ deck, accompanied by several drag queens.  

A young child stood nearby, rubbing her hands through her arms, while an individual wearing makeup and an open blazer approached her in a seemingly inappropriate manner. 

Gays Against Groomers took notice of the child and voiced their disgust on Twitter. “We are absolutely disgusted to see these drag queens and half-naked gender cultists dance around little kids at the Olympics for the entire world to watch,” they said. 

The show then transitioned into a runway event, with semi-nude models taking the stage. Drag queen Piche drew significant attention on social media, sporting a blond wig, beard and female performance attire.  

Reality show Drag Race France host Nicky Doll and contestant Paloma also made appearances, according to several tweets.

Critics also noticed the inclusion of what they described as a “pale horse,” likely referencing one of the four horsemen from the Book of Revelation.  

“They put in a ‘pale horse’ just in case you weren’t sure that this was all intentional. Straight out of revelations. Wtf is happening,” Russell wrote. 

Another performance featured a headless Marie Antoinette, the last queen consort of France before the French Revolution. She was depicted alongside scenes from Les Misérables and Eugène Delacroix’s Liberty Leading the People painting, commemorating the July Revolution. Metal band Gojira played a song from Les Mis during this segment. 

Marie Antoinette was decapitated after being convicted of several crimes after the Revolution.

Despite the backlash, French President Emmanuel Macron tweeted, “This is France!” and added, “Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité,” the national motto of France. The Olympics will run from July 26 through Aug. 11.

Senate Passes Anti-Deepfake Porn Bill

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The anti-deep fake porn bill, which official title is the Disrupt Explicit Forged Images and Non-Consensual Edits (DEFIANCE) Act, passed the U.S. Senate unanimously on July 25, 2024, with 100 votes.

Breitbart reported that the bill introduced by Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., would allow victims of deep fake pornography to “sue anyone who knowingly creates, receives or distributes non-consensual, sexually explicit content made with artificial intelligence.” Victims will have a 10-year statute of limitations.

According to the news source, “The bill is one of the first to address the damages caused by AI, which is currently a self-regulated industry. It doesn’t allow for criminal prosecution, but hopefully, it’s a first step towards more federal oversight.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., who also sponsored the bill, said she pushed it after becoming a victim of deep fake porn online.

“Today marks an important step in the fight to protect survivors of nonconsensual deep fake pornography. Over 90% of all deepfake videos made are nonconsensual sexually explicit images, and women are the targets 9 times out of 10,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a statement on July 25, 2024.

She then wrote that the act would allow the victims to defend themselves legally against pornographers who are using their identities without consent.

“The DEFIANCE Act would guarantee federal protections for survivors of nonconsensual deep fake pornography for the first time, granting the right to take civil action against individuals who knowingly produce, distribute, or receive nonconsensual sexually explicit digital forgeries,” she wrote.

Actress Scarlett Johansson, another victim of the deep fake porn, admitted in a 2019 interview that the technology would be difficult, if not impossible, not regulate.

“I think it’s a useless pursuit, legally, mostly because the internet is a vast wormhole of darkness that eats itself. There are far more disturbing things on the dark web than this, sadly. I think it’s up to an individual to fight for their own right to their image, claim damages, etc.,” she said.

Johansson also talked about how deep fake porn would affect regular women who are not multimillionaire actresses like her to protect their image.

“It’s a fruitless pursuit for me but a different situation than someone who loses a job over their image being used like that,” she said.

Windfall: FBI Pays $2M to Strzok, Ex-Lover for Released Anti-Trump Texts

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The FBI will pay disgraced former FBI official Peter Strzok and his former lover Lisa Page millions in a settlement over the release of their anti-Trump text messages, CNN reported on Friday.

Strzok will receive $1.2 million, while Page will get $800,000 after the bureau released email exchanges that exposed their anti-Trump bias during the 2016 presidential campaign. Such bias ultimately ignited the now-defunct Russian collusion hoax probe.

The infamous messages between Page and Strzok, both married at the time, showed them discussing ways to “stop” Trump, whom they labeled an “idiot.” The two also backed Hillary Clinton, the twice-failed presidential candidate, in text messages.

The disturbing display of bias fueled concerns about political bias and discriminatory behavior against Trump, reaching a climax after FBI agents aggressively raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in 2022. 

The messages were first released by then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to counter selective leaks undermining public trust in the DOJ. Fast forward to 2024, the settlement stipulates that the release of the messages violated the Privacy Act. 

Despite his own bias, Strzok claimed that the FBI released his text messages for political purposes. 

 “While I have been vindicated by this result, my fervent hope remains that our institutions of justice will never again play politics with the lives of their employees,” he claimed, ignoring the bias he exhibited during the Mueller investigation. 

Special Counsel John Durham, appointed in 2020 by then-Attorney General Bill Barr, revealed that Strzok opened the investigation into allegations of Russian collusion despite his “hostile feelings toward Trump.” 

Moreover, Durham’s report highlighted that the investigation, known as Crossfire Hurricane, was initiated without interviewing those who provided the initial information or assessing internal FBI intelligence. 

“Had it done so,” Durman noted, the FBI would have learned there was no evidence to back the Steele Dossier’s allegations. 

“The speed and manner in which the FBI opened and investigated Crossfire Hurricane during the presidential election season based on raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence also reflected a noticeable departure from how it approached prior matters involving possible attempted foreign election interference plans aimed at the Clinton campaign,” Durham wrote in its final report.

Trump Meets Netanyahu At Mar-A-Lago, Warns of World War III Under Kamala

(Elias Irizarry, Headline USA) Former President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., marking the first time the two have met since Trump left office after the 2020 election.

Trump expressed his solidarity with Netanyahu and Israel in their conflict against Hamas. He additionally warned that World War III could start if he loses the election against Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming that she’s weak on the Middle East and foreign policy

“You’re going to end up with major wars in the Middle East. And maybe a third World War,” Trump told Netanyahu.

“You are closer to a third World War right now than at any time since the Second World War,” he added. “We’ve never been so close because we have incompetent people running the country.”

Netanyahu additionally showed Trump a picture of a toddler being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza, stating that the father asked Netanyahu to present it to him, a gesture that Trump called “very moving” as he pledged to handle the situation as president.

Trump announced the meeting on Truth Social days before, writing “Looking forward to seeing Bibi Netanyahu on Friday, and even more forward to achieving peace in the Middle East!”

Alongside his post, Trump attached a letter from the president of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, wishing him “strength and safety” after his assassination attempt, with writing on the letter from Trump saying “so nice – thank you – everything will be good.”

During his first term, Trump famously brokered the Abraham Accords, helping Israel to make historic peace agreements with several of its Arab neighbors, largely due to the diminished influence of Iran amid U.S. sanctions and other forms of pressure.

The Biden administration, however, began negotiating with Iran even before formally assuming the presidency and had just released billions of dollars to the terrorist-backing regime when Hamas shocked Israel with its Oct. 7, 2023 massacre, slaughtering some 1,200 Israelis and taking more than 200 hostages.

The meeting on Friday, July 26, marked Netanyahu’s final stop in his visit to the United States, having visited President Joe Biden and Harris the day before, along with an address to Congress on Wednesday.

Netanyahu’s visit to the Capitol was greeted by left-wing rioting and boycotts from many Democrats, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

Harris, now the presumptive Democratic nominee, also boycotted the address—later awkwardly meeting Netanyahu at the White House as she seeks to curry favor with her far-left base, which has been supportive of Hamas in the conflict.

“It is time for this war to end in a way where Israel is secure, all the hostages are released, the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza ends and the Palestinian people can exercise their right to freedom, dignity and self-determination,” Harris said after her meeting. “As I just told Prime Minister Netanyahu, it is time to get this deal done. Let’s get the deal done.”

Harris’s aggressive, scolding tone reportedly left Netanyahu bewildered, with one Israeli official telling Axios, “We hope that Harris’s public criticism of Israel won’t give Hamas the impression that there is daylight between the U.S. and Israel and as a result make it harder to get a deal.”

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, condemned Harris for snubbing Netanyahu to pander to the radical far-left and pro-Hamas branch within the Democratic Party.

“Kamala Harris’s base vandalized Union Station, burned our flag, and replaced Old Glory with a Palestinian flag,” said Cruz on Fox News. “She refused to do her duty and attend Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech because she is pandering to these antisemitic extremists and counting on their votes.”

Trump additionally chimed in during his meeting with Netanyahu, slamming Harris for her statement.

“I think her remarks were disrespectful, they weren’t very nice, pertaining to Israel,” said Trump in a press conference with Netanyahu. “I actually don’t know how a person who is Jewish could vote for her, but that’s up to them, but she was certainly disrespectful to Israel in my opinion.”

The meeting reflected a reconciliation between Trump and Netanyahu ahead of the 2024 presidential election after the friendship between the two reportedly soured in 2020, when Netanyahu quickly congratulated Biden on his victory—a move that Trump said he saw as disloyalty from the fellow conservative in light of Trump’s unwavering support.

Trump was continuing to challenge the election results at the time, so Netanyahu’s decision to weigh in effectively undermined those efforts at a time when he was particularly short on allies.

When asked if their relationship had improved, Trump responded “It was never bad, I would say it was always good. No President has done what I’ve done for Israel.”

Judge Approves ‘Mandalorian’ Actress’s Musk-Backed Lawsuit Against Disney

(Headline USA) A federal judge rules this week that former Disney actress Gina Carano’s lawsuit against the company for wrongful termination can move forward.

In the ruling, U.S. District Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett denied Disney’s motion to dismiss Carano’s case, writing Disney failed to prove that the company hires and fires employees based on whether they promote its values.

“Defendants have not identified any evidence—in the Complaint or otherwise—to substantiate a claim that they employ public-facing actors for the purpose of promoting the ‘values of respect,’ ‘decency,’ ‘integrity,’ or ‘inclusion,'” Garnett wrote.

“Accordingly, Defendants’ invocation of the supposedly detrimental effects of Plaintiff’s ‘mere presence’ as one of Defendants’ employees lacks constitutional import,” she added.

Carano, a mixed-martial arts competitor who previously starred in The Mandalorian on Disney+, celebrated the decision, saying she looked forward to vindicating her name and position in court.

“I am moved to tears. After a brutal 3 1/2 years, I am being given the opportunity to move forward in the court of law before the judge and my peers to clear my name,” Carano wrote in a lengthy X post.

“I am so grateful for this opportunity,” she continued. “What happened to me was unacceptable, absurd and abusive, among other things. It should not have happened to me, and it should not happen to anyone else moving forward. Let it stop here.”

Carano was fired in 2021 by Disney after she shared an Instagram post that likened the experience of Jewish people during the Holocaust to the political experience of conservatives in the U.S.

In her lawsuit, she accused the company of firing her for her political beliefs.

“I quite literally fought to get to where I got to in my career through intense ups and downs, and I’ll keep up that fight to continue doing what I love,” she said.

“I appreciate all of you who stood by me and defended me, and I am so sorry that similar situations have happened to some of you,” she added. “I want you to know that I see you and I stand with you.”

A person with the nickname @sfogui posted a screenshot of the arrest warrant for one of the protesters in front of the Capitol.

“Arrested Wednesday [July 24, 2024] in Syracuse, N.Y. – Nathan Breese, c’mon down!” the person wrote.

Julie Kelly of Real Clear Investigations responded to the post by pointing out the agency’s hypocrisy.

“On the ‘Day of Rage’ Hamasurrection on Wednesday and as Chris Wray was claiming the FBI won’t tolerate ‘political violence’ on any side, his FBI arrested yet another J6er on low-level charges. No FBI arrests of any pro-Hamas demonstrator in 10 months, no federal charges,” she wrote.

People responded to Kelly’s post by criticizing the FBI.

“Nothing but political prosecutions by the FBI & DOJ. Very dangerous and sick,” one of the people wrote in the video’s comment section.

Cash Loren of the Cash Loren Show also responded to the social media post.

“Two-Tiered Justice System,” he wrote.

Another person on the social media platform also suggested that the agency must be “shut down and dismantled.”

“This is so disgusting. The FBI must be shut down and dismantled,” the person wrote.

Others also pointed out that Christopher Wray, the Director of the FBI, should be punished for the biased “justice” system.

“Hopefully, Chris Wray will be prosecuted for his conduct as FBI Director,” another person wrote in the comments section.

Some individuals also pointed out that even though the leftist government arrested some of the pro-Hamas terrorists who were vandalizing statues, burning American flags and raising the flags of Palestine — an act that could easily be considered treason in the United States — the terrorists were recently released after the charges against them were dropped by corrupt prosecutors controlled by George and Alex Soros.

Federal Judge Threatens to Sanction Hunter Biden’s Lawyers for Making False Statements

(Headline USA) A federal judge threatened to sanction Hunter Biden’s legal team this week for lying in a court filing, The Hill reported.

Judge Mark Scarsi demanded in an order this week that Abbe Lowell and Mark Geragos, who are leading Biden’s defense team, provide an explanation by next Wednesday as to why they made allegedly false statements about the tax fraud charges brought against Hunter Biden.

The statements in question appeared in a court filing Hunter’s lawyers made last week, in which they argued that the nine tax charges brought against Hunter by special counsel David Weiss should be tossed on the grounds that Weiss was unlawfully appointed as special counsel.

This is not the first time Hunter’s legal team has made this claim. They brought the same request to Scarsi earlier this year, but Scarsi denied it.

However, after Florida Judge Aileen Cannon ruled that special counsel Jack Smith, who brought multiple charges against former President Donald Trump, was unlawfully appointed, Biden’s attorneys made the argument again.

The spurious court filing missed entirely the point of Cannon’s ruling, which was that, unlike any other special counsel ever appointed, Smith did not come from within the Justice Department itself and, thus, had not been vetted or approved by the U.S. Senate.

That, in effect, gave Attorney General Merrick Garland an alarming amount of power to create unaccountable investigators with subpoena power who could expand their probes with unlimited resources and scope while answering to nobody in particular, all for purely political reasons.

According to Scarsi, Lowell and Geragos also failed to mention in their filing that Weiss brought his case against Hunter before he was even made special counsel.

Weiss first brought charges against Hunter in June 2023. Weiss was named special counsel only after a plea deal between Hunter’s team and the Justice Department fell apart later that summer.

That is a “meaningful distinction” between Hunter’s case and Trump’s, Scarsi argued.

“But Mr. Biden’s motion does not engage with this distinction; instead, counsel avoids the issue by misrepresenting the history of the proceedings,” the judge wrote. “This Court has little tolerance for lack of candor from counsel … These statements … are not true, and Mr. Biden’s counsel knows they are not true.”

Scarsi further threatened to sanction Lowell and Geragos if they refused to cooperate with his orders moving forward.
